Good day,
Name: Bignicky9/KillPenguins
I produce Old School music Montage videos for the 2016 video game Overwatch:
I am 20 years old and interested in learning editing tricks to make my videos even greater.
I also have a BitChute channel:
Okay, so I updated my slide info. What about this format to convey more of an invitation for people just learning about the condition to engage with awarness?

Great job. You come across very natural and endearing on camera. I'm yet to jump in front of the camera - just sticking to narration for now!
I would suggest some variety in your b-roll cutaways. www.pexels.com has great free video content, so maybe give that a go next time? Also the text on your thumbnail is quite small, maybe make it a bit larger to attract people :)
While I'm here I'll drop some actual feedback:

Okay so What I think this is missing is a throughline, I'd look at some professional YouTubers and look how they divide up their gameplay with text graphics, as opposed to putting them over the gameplay with minimal changes (which in your case has made them a little hard to read).
I'd also look into some different editing software, this looks like is uses a ton of pre-sets and you'll struggle to find much growth in this format without changes to what you use (DaVinci resolve is an industry giant, and it's totally free!!!)
Here's a link if you want to get your hands on it, just look up a couple of tutorials on how to work it first:
Us POC creators gotta support each other so I subscribed to you. I really enjoyed your video. You seem to really know your stuff. Pacing and editing and content is all great.
My suggestions for you: You clearly know your stuff, so please turn your voice volume up. We want to hear you :)
Secondly, using Youtube Chapters would be really great here and would help the flow (see what I did there) of your videos because then we know what to expect. It gives structure to your videos.
Lastly, and this is kind of a nitpick and just a personal thing but maybe try using canva.com to make some really cool free intros and banners and logos and other media. Your intro seems a bit on the blander side, but that anime portrait is dope.
That's all I can think of. Really great videos bro. Keep up the great work!
I personally use Adobe premiere. The best editing software is not simple to suggest cuz we all have different preferences. There are free software like DaVinci Resolve https://www.blackmagicdesign.com/products/davinciresolve which is really good at editing! you can do lots of work with colors and so much! There are tutorials on youtube so it is not hard to learn. There are lots of software Sony Vegas, Imovie, Final cut, and others.. it is up to you what you choose. Doesn't matter what software you use but the content matters the most :)
I really like the editing style. It is very fast paced and funny.
Some things I look at are the tags and description. It never hurts to put as many tags as you can in the description. Ranked tags and high volume tags means that you video has a higher chance of showing up when someone searches that certain thing (or something similar).
The description is a bit short. Definitely a place where key words factor in! A good practice is having about 2 lines describing the video and to get high volume key words in your description (GET THEM CLICKS)
(sorry if this is a bit long) I use VidIQ to help me out with uploading a video, definitely worth a try! https://vidiq.com/
There are always times where you wont gain much, that means you need to be more consistent. You need to be more than satisfied with your videos everytime you upload. If you think that the video you just finished is better than your last, than by all means upload it!
A lot of gaining comes from trying to get into Youtube's algorithm. VidIQ gives you a checklist to help you get the best possible result! I recommend it. https://vidiq.com/
I’m assuming you mean an elgato capture card correct? Or camlink? Either way i’ve found that finding (lightly) used capture cards on ebay is helpful as the older models they sold during the 360/PS3 days are still fairly good quality for getting 720p-1080p footage. Otherwise you could just get one on amazon they have the HD60 model which hovers around $120-$150 if you shop at the right time. Camlinks are a bit cheaper in general and I got mine in an Amazon Lightning Deal for $100 (usually $120 i believe) which isn’t too far from the regular price. Elgato is top of the line brand so their products are usually hard to find for much cheaper than usual. Some good Capture Card alternatives would be from AVerMedia Razer or various smaller 3rd Parties
This is what feedback looks like.
I'm probably in the ideal demo for this channel: "vintage nerd". I agree with these notes. Pacing, cut the air, music bed underneath.
And I offer this advice to every YT I review: invest in mics. You can pick up cheap lavs on Amazon for $20. If you have the means, get Shure or Senheiser. Rode makes a good wireless mic set.
https://www.amazon.com/Rode-RodeLink-Digital-Wireless-Filmmaker/dp/B07QGGBNMN
Pro tip: before investing in mics, check your camera to see if it supports phantom power. If it doesn't, you'll need some type of pre-amp or mixer between you and the camera.
so like 00:09 and 00:10
Instead of holding up those canvases, you could have taken a good solid still shot of them, and had them fill the whole screen. Done a transition between them and let people REALLY get a look at the art.
Then you bring it back to you.
For a mask, look into something like this: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08L793CZ9/ref=syn_sd_onsite_desktop_364?psc=1&uh_it=c4c45a9bd5325a73041b7e911cbeaef6_CT&spLa=ZW5jcnlwdGVkUXVhbGlmaWVyPUE5MVpVQ09UQU9UVkImZW5jcnlwdGVkSWQ9QTA2ODEwMjdIRlcyN01HTlRYRk4mZW5jcnlwdGVkQWRJZD1BMDY2MTE3NFdNMzQ4UzkwR1VNMSZ3aWRnZXROYW1lPXNkX29uc2l0ZV9kZXNrdG9wJmFjdGlvbj1jbGlja1JlZGlyZWN0JmRvTm90TG9nQ2xpY2s9dHJ1ZQ==
nice music and edit! i feel improving light env would make it a lot better. you could use something like this.
https://www.amazon.com/10-inch-Adjustable-Dimmable-Ringlight-Brightness/dp/B07TL6Z8LK/ref=asc_df_B07TL6Z8LK/?tag=hyprod-20&linkCode=df0&hvadid=366307718128&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=1457120007828234633&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=c&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9026942&hvtargid=pla-802957542416&psc=1&tag=&ref=&adgrpid=76223914757&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvadid=366307718128&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=1457120007828234633&hvqmt=&hvdev=c&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9026942&hvtargid=pla-802957542416
So I actually have gone through a lot of mic trouble recently. I bought the blue yeti mic (~130) and it broke on me and I can’t return it, which is super annoying cause it was a bit of an investment for me.
I then got this 30 dollar mic on amazon which I used to do my voiceover in my solar video https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B06XCKGLTP/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 and it worked out better then I thought. It’s not as sensitive as the blue yeti, but it did really well for voice over narration, it’s not broken, and it’s cheaper. I’m not sure how it would do for things other then narration.
I also bought this https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B008AOH1O6/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 to avoid the puffing sound that comes from when you speak into a mic close up.
Good luck with your videos! I’ll subscribe and look out for more.
I'm not too sure because it sounds like its extremely loud so idk how well most ideas besides turning it off would work.
I would say get a microphone and try that (with a filter on it maybe), but you would need to get a good mic to test that, and they can be pretty pricey. I have a Blue Yeti Mic: https://www.amazon.com/Blue-Yeti-USB-Microphone-Silver/dp/B002VA464S
Its a good microphone, but still nothing professional, or top-of-the-line.
Interesting! I use my phone I haven't used a gopro I am searching now:
This is a good place to start you are probably going to need an adapter: https://www.amazon.com/Movo-GM100-Omnidirectional-Condenser-Microphone/dp/B00N0EA3NC/ref=sr_1_2_sspa?dchild=1&keywords=GOPro+Mic&qid=1594996294&sr=8-2-spons&psc=1&spLa=ZW5jcnlwdGVkUXVhbGlmaWVyPUEyTFk5WUVUS1hUNUo3JmVuY3J5cHRlZEl...
What you may also want to do is set up the gopro like you had it in the video then buy a microphone like this one: https://www.amazon.com/Professional-Hi-sensity-Hi-fidelity-Microphone-Compatible/dp/B07Y8GK8T5/ref=sr_1_8?dchild=1&keywords=GOPro+Mic&qid=1594996339&sr=8-8 THEN get a microphone stand and set up the microphone on the stand and with high density it should pick up your voice even if you are a few feet away from it. I don't film outside so I not a pro on this topic but that is what I would do. :)
For editing, I use Davinci Resolve. It's free and I have used it for all of my videos.
For recording, I use iPhone, as the camera quality is really good (In settings, you can also adjust the camera quality to go to 60 FPS).
The mic was the only part where I had to spend money. While my camera quality was good, I knew that I needed to use something other than the iPhone's subpar mic, especially considering that I record outside. Fortunately, I came across this lavalier mic for only 12 bucks on Amazon, and it works great.

Thanks for the lambda!
It’s worth a try before spending money on a mic.
There’s plenty of guides on mic eq knocking around and most say to roll the eq at around 4khz to get rid of tinny sounding voices.
I used this guide
https://www.buzzsprout.com/blog/best-sounding-audio-for-podcast
But only as a starter, adjust to suit your voice, personally I boost the eq around 2khzbecause I sound a little Basel but clip everything above 6khz because I’m sensitive to high frequencies 😁
Oh yeah, I forgot to come to on that. I would love to see the other versions if you have them. As for the current one I think it's good, it gets the point across, but one thing I don't necessarily like is the font. I can see it being dificult to read for some people. A while a go I was watching tutorials on thumbnails to try and get better at it and a lot of people tend to recommend simple fonts like a san serif font. Google Fonts has a nice library of fonts that you can use.
I'd say that you're pretty good at making an engaging and funny script! Although I'm not personally invested at all in personality types, I think that people who are may recieve your content pretty well. You've got decent editing: not high-level but good enough for now.
One thing I would say if you plan on going bigger, is that you may want to invest in higher-quality persona-pics (especially the revolver one, which is kind of out-of-place). I don't know if you drew those ones yourself, but if need be then commission sites like fiverr offer an abundance of artist willing to make really good youtube-persona pics just like the big boys up at the top of the yt leaderboard for a fair price.
Finally, I personally found the trap-type background music to be a little bit too intense for a video like this. This may seem obvious and you may already know this, but there are plenty of royalty-free music download sites available where you can sort through thousands of free tracks. Here's one of the most popular ones:
Thank you for your time and your feedback, glad you liked it.
The video was made almost entirely in Adobe After Effects, the SSD models and a few other drawings were drawn on Adobe Illustrator, while others were vector files sourced from pixabay.com (highly recommend it if you need ready vector files).
Recording and audio processing was in Adobe Audition.
If you need more info just let me know.
Also I'm out of Lambda at the moment but will give one as soon as I have one.
Cheers!
Hi there! I personally use Adobe Premiere Pro, but it's pricey as well.
I've discovered that Blender now offers a video editing software included in their 3d package. I haven't tried it myself though! https://www.blender.org/features/video-editing/
Make your own Thumbs and Photoshop is probably the best but if you are not a student it can be a bit pricey. Looking at free photo editing apps, I found "Gimp" to be very good although it is a bit involved and complicated. There are however many Gimp Tutorials so it is easy to get started. Just go to www.gimp.org.
There are also Thumb Making Tutorials that will give you some great tips on how to make your thumb stand out.
And Whatever Niche Is It. Does not Matter. Write Helpful Articles, tips and tricks. Link your videos.
Open a free WordPress account Start Your Blog (Affiliated link) : https://wordpress.com/refer-a-friend/lLBO6JWIGPxQPwy88M6Q/
Or Google Blogger Account. And start writing something useful. And Google will reward you.
It certainly helped me. Yes it is a Affiliated link. But you don't have to click the link. It helps though.
Good luck.
A phenomenally edited video, here's everything I think you got wrong (Warning some of this criticism is Nitpicky):
At (1:50) "failure" is behind the mic, I would set it above the mic like the other words, or put it in front of the mic.
At (3:09) I would've had the jump king finish the level while you're explaining your point (it would massively add to your point)
At (3:42) you use white text on white background, just change it to black like the other text you had. Same at (4:35; 6:02), and at (4:46) alternate text color so it's easier to read.
At a few points (2:58; 6:19) your mic popped. This is called a plosive, and is fixed by getting a better pop filter, or speaking to the side of the mic. I can tell you already have a pop filter, but It doesn't seem to be 100% effective.
My pop filter is the sE Electronics - Pro Metal Pop Filter: Amazon Link

Overall amazing video 9/10, let me know if you have any questions about what I've said!
Personally I use Staatliches, It's a bold and easy to see font. I also like Bebas Neue, Similar to the font used in memes, which is Impact
I would say use a different font for your graphics, since the one you use looks a little amateur. Try Google Fonts.
Also I would add in game sounds, probably turned down quite a bit, but it's still nice to hear them. And maybe try to synchronize the music with the gameplay in some parts, otherwise good job, and good luck in your next videos!
I watched about 3 minutes and it is awesome. Solid slide transition sounds, good lighting, good audio, and the speed was totally fine and I knew what you were talking about.
The thumbnail needs some work I would say. The colors don’t pop enough and nothing really catches my attention and it looks muddled and scary.
Here is a site that gives you colors that go well together and I feel are helpful in thumbnail creation: Adobe color wheel
I suggest keeping you on the thumbnail because you have a good personality and your content seems to be around you talking about the topics. Bold outline around yourself, bold outline and maybe drop shadow for text are simple things that make a thumbnail pop.
Your "Twitch Affiliate in 2 Weeks" thumbnail is dead-on. It's clear, concise, and not too cluttered.
Arguably, the background behind you might benefit from being replaced with a single, contrasting color. Thought about building a brand palette? Grab your primary color and visit https://color.adobe.com/create/color-wheel.
You'll run into legal trouble eventually doing that. I use https://pixabay.com/ but even then there's a line of "advertised images" at the top when you search, so just make sure to use the free stuff.
It is a little bit difficult. The best example I can give is I sometimes use pixabay and it will say under the download button what kind of license the picture has. Some sites will try to trick you into buying stuff but it is easy to avoid.
Edit:
Here is an example. This image you could use completely free and modify with no attribution required.
https://pixabay.com/photos/argument-anger-angry-conflict-4203671/
You can see it right under the "free download" button. It is a good idea to credit artists every now and again though!
Hey, you can find free stock footage that's completely royalty free and no attribution required from pixabay.com
There's a ton of clips there you can use to edit together something, hopefully that helps!
Overall, I enjoyed the video a lot and was surprised with the quality, although I think the thumbnail and title needs improvement, especially considering that it is one of the most important factors of a video. For the thumbnail I recommend experimenting with a website called pixlr which is pretty much free photo shop Link - https://pixlr.com/ - and for the title I would try to use something a little more captivating maybe like "Is it possible to ride a unicycle for 30km" or "What happens when I ride a unicycle for 30km". Good luck in future videos! I enjoyed this!
other than that, it's a grind and hoping the algorithm picks you up. I've been making content for 6 months and some of my videos get 150+ views while some barely get 40. It's all about consistent uploading, a whole lot of work, some luck and *viewer interaction*. The viewer interaction is a big deal since the algorithm picks up videos that get likes, comments and shares

EDIT:
also obviously it depends on what you post.
If it's gaming related, try recording a game that isn't so niche that nobody clicks on it, but also not so popular that your video gets lost in the sea of thousands of other videos on the same subject. Kinda like making a minecraft let's play in 2013, as a new content creator you just get buried under a pile of similar content unless you're doing something drastically different
Use DaVinci Resolve! https://www.blackmagicdesign.com/products/davinciresolve/ it is a free professional editing program that will make your videos 1000x better than anything iMovie could do!
Hey! If you're looking for an editor, I have found some great ones on Upwork.com - I work for a video marketing company and currently have 4 working for us from all over the world at really good rates.
Did you by any chance make your thumbnail on canva?
Hi, Bro u need a video editor like me:
I'm a full-time professional video editor, I've more than 5 years of video editing experience
Solid video! Good use of stock footage, interesting subject and good quality audio. Your voice if also pretty good man you should consider doing voiceovers on fiverr.com :) But anyway in terms of the video - like I said good job! However I think you need to work on your thumbnail. The text on top is hardly visible on small small and the composite image itself is lacking contrast - it's hard to tell what's in there. Always look at your thumbnails when they are tiny and answer yourself: is it clear enough what's in there? Best of luck!
Hey,
for your branding you could go to fiverr.com or freelancer.com in order to find an affordable person to hire. I did so myself and I'm extremely happy with the results. You can have basecally made everything on sites like these.
Apart from that: though your microphone has good sound in and of itself, try a pop filter to get rid of the blowing into the mic. You should also increase the sensitivity of your microphones gain and loudness if possible. Those adjustments are necessary and highly dependable on what kind of model you use.
But increasing the soundquality will for sure increase your youtube game.
Also check out these things:
✗ High Res. Thumbnail
✗ Info Cards Added
✗ End Screen Added

You only added the Captions. Try to inform yourself on a few or all of these things to increase the quality of your channel portrail.
the thumbnail is good but the problem is the thing and behind the text wnd the text font try to download a BOLD font from dafont BOLD red/yellow/blue/green/gray text always catching attention

Great edit, you added some decent funny clips I actually laughed at, but why is there a watermark for Created by RenderForest.com if your intro was created there
then fair enough but there are other ways to make intros without watermarks, either way great video bit short but funny!
The video was very entertaining, the only concern I have is your thumbnail, the color of your text is not complementing each other, try using http://colormind.io/ to see great color combination but other than that your video was great

Paint.net is free and easy to use. If you want to get more into photo editing in general it's a good place to start. Making thumbnails is hard at first but you eventually gain experience. One thing that's useful is learning some basic color psychology to make nicer looking thumbnails. Adobe has a free tool to use: https://color.adobe.com/create/color-wheel Try and center thumbnails on things people recognize and are drawn to, like faces.
It sounds really weird, but you could try separating your thumbnail from the gameplay? What I mean by that is the majority of your thumbnail are initially taken from gameplay, with effects and a layer of text over it. You could do a little experimental one where your thumbnail is made from 'scratch' (you crop out the main points of your thumbnail, like the police cars or characters, then import or create a background).
Personally, I don't think your thumbnails are bad. You clearly put effort into them and props for that. I think the only problem I could see is that the background of the thumbnail seems to make it more cluttered because it's derived from the game.
Nice Channel though :) One of the better ones I've seen on here so far
Hey!!
I felt 2 things missing in your video.
1. Add an intro screen that showcases your logo with some animation with some action music!! 1st 5 seconds of a powerful intro can make people stick around.
2. Text 'bonus clip' that you have inserted seem bland because no background or banner. Try adding a banner like design. You can have a look at canva.com to use some neat title banners.
There's lots of ways to go about this, it all comes down to your creativity, I make music myself but dont have anything solid to share with the world currently. but to answer ur question, u can try visualizers, there's free ones online u can download or some DAWs have a bulit-in visualizer like FL studio (which is what I currently use). you could collab with an artist or an animator, you can make a really dope album cover urself if you have some basic skills with photoshop... if u dont have photoshop u can try out Canva.com u can design anything you want. there's many different ways to do it, u just need to get inspired and just create also link ur channel if u want, always happy to check out new upcoming producers.
Best Of Luck : )
Thumbnails are so important, I use different options but one of the bests is canva.com, also there is an app for the phone or tablet called PixelLab but CANVA is more PRO. Easy to use and much easier than photoshop. goo luck my friend.
This is probably as best as you could make a simple idea video like this you could ever make; few tips though:
1) Decent thumbnail, though a higher saturated thumbnail with possibly more 'clickbait-y' esc words could do the trick! I assume you use Photoshop, but I personally use Canva.com
2) If possible, make the video to each section of Star Wars
3) Star Wars Battlefront 2... u serious? There's plently more games more relevant than this
4) YOU HAVE NO PERSONALITY! I'm not watching the video to see you; I'm watching the video to see Star Wars! ANYONE could do that! What makes me want to watch this video instead of a mainstream one created by someone with 1,000,000 subscribers? Again, try and see this and constructive critique; try and add a twist into each video to make your video stand out from the rest!
I really want to stress 4) - There's a billion other walkthroughs that people would rather watch than this one since there is nothing unique about this style of content. However, this could be easily redeemed with decent quality editing with additions of memes to make it feel more relatable.
TBH I was just being savage because you asked for it ;) the content is there however I would recommend trying to keep your videos in the 5-6 minute range. I would also recommend filming with a better background that is well lit. Have you used Canva.com before? It is great for creating thumbnails and I urge you to give it a try. Keep up the hard work!
I know it's ASMR, but since it is still a video, I would focus on making it more visually interesting to watch. Also a good thumbnail would help. You can make one on canva pretty easily.
A banner is a very important thing in my opinion for a channel. If you want a versatile range of things you can do for a banner then i would consider going to https://canva.com which is free but is really good for something like that!
Just a couple of things.
Other than that I like your ingenuity and your style. Maybe try and edit the audio next time to increase the volume when you get far away cause it was really hard to hear you sometimes.
Ok so I've noticed a theme with your thumbnails that I think you can improve on. Maybe you are going for this on purpose, so ignore my critique otherwise, but I think your thumbnails are good overall, except that your background makes it too busy.
Looking at all your thumbnails, they are actually good, but the one thing i would change is the background of the wall. It makes your thumbnails too busy, I think if you made just some sort of color gradient background and put your face and whatever other images pertain to your video ontop of that background and some text, it would make it a little more clean and professional looking.
If you are curious what I mean, you can check out my latest thumbnails (YouTube: ItsTurboAlex) where i started using a gradient color background, in my opinion it looks more professional and clean. This may not be exactly what you are going for, but its an idea you can play with and customize to your own liking.
You can use pixlr.com to cut around your face to create a transparent background, then put it all together in Canva. You can YouTube a quick canva/pixlr tutorial.

I can't remember what our host used to make our banner, but I believe a program like GIMP would work well. If you wanna invest in a program, I believe this one is a good option:
https://affinity.serif.com/en-us/photo/
Our host has mentioned this one before. It might actually be what he used for our banner.
You can also use something more basic like Microsoft Paint.
It depends.
If the video is very long and you only need a partial clip, record it with a recorder
This is the one i use to record partial clips with a recorder.
If its kind of short (5 or 7 min) i could just download it.
But its ur decision :)
OK,so there are 2 options here. Youre on laptop, correct?
You can use OBS to record. There is no watermark,no time limit, nothing bad.
You can use This recorder which i personally use. Theres also no watermark, time limit, etc. But in games it could be a bit more laggy. Just saying.
Hope this helps you
Here's a sample of the black bar I'm talking about: https://www.kapwing.com/explore/classic-snapchat-text-caption
As I was saying for font, look at the fonts used in the games you have for inspiration. If you find one where you want to use that exact font, there's this website where you can upload an image and it tries to match that font: https://www.fontsquirrel.com/matcherator
Positives:
*I like the unusual choice of author *I like that you get right into it *It is clear that you really care about your subject
Constructive criticism: *lighting needs to be much brighter *audio could definitely be levelled better *avoid handling the book in front of the microphone *edit out some of the gulps and pauses
I recommend this website: https://screencast-o-matic.com/
I use Restream.io to multi-stream to multiple platforms like Twitch and YouTube for free. I'd imagine having extra eyeballs view your content would help, as long as it doesn't take up too much of your time and you aren't spreading yourself too thin.
I used this years ago and it was serviceable. If I remember correctly the free version allows you to encode in mp4 h264 which is ok for youtube. It does restrict to 720p though. That is OK for a small youtuber I would say, however.
Blender also has video editing. Though I cant vouch for its feature set or user experience.
There actually is!! It is called DaVinchi Resolve! Its really good for starting out and works on Mac also! Here is info on it:
I use Hitfilm 4 Express at the moment, and it has lot of odd quirks on it. I've used Adobe Premiere almost 15 years now and I would highly recommend that. The editing flow is simple, and fast, and when you get used to the software, you can get results very fast.
I chose Hitfilm mainly as my editing software because the editing flow is similar to Premiere but it is very heavy software and when making, for example, compilation videos, it will take forever to finish them.
If you are considering making let's plays or other kind of videogame related videos, then you might need check this video transcoder software out as well: https://handbrake.fr/downloads.php
When I record my videos, the captured videos always tend to run from 50 something fps and 59.94fps to 60fps and it causes the video and audio to get out of sync. I use Handbreak to convert the files and force them to have Constant frame rate to avoid this issue.
I hope this helps :)
There's a number of advantages to having an official artist channel, check out this article, it offers some useful tips https://www.musicgateway.com/blog/how-to/youtube-for-artists-setting-up-and-optimising-your-official-channel
Hey, you remember! XD Rimworld really is a fantastic game and I'm sure it'll end up in a Steam sale sometime. It's worth the full price but everything's better on sale, for sure. Thanks for the compliments! I've definitely considered streaming but unfortunately my internet doesn't really support it, it's pretty awful. I use a pretty cheap MPOW headset I found on Amazon for like $40-$60. It's surprisingly good quality for the price. I also use an in-line EQ: http://sourceforge.net/projects/equalizerapo https://sourceforge.net/projects/peace-equalizer-apo-extension/ I really appreciate the feedback and hope you enjoy the Kingdom Come playthrough if you get around to watching it! I've been meaning to do a Hardcore playthrough with the new DLC they've released so that might be incoming.
Definitely bring something different to the table in your videos. Doesnt hurt to put your own personality into your videos. (Show off your niches!)
If its structure you are going for, there are some very good extensions to boost your videos in youtube's algorithm. VidIQ is epic, TubeBuddy is pretty good. (I linked VidIQ) https://vidiq.com/
For editing a video, you should never be afraid to increase the volume of your clips, best if they were louder and quiet!
Presentation wise, the structure of your videos is VERY important. Start your video with a funny moment from the video and transition that to a title card or your twitch link. Than put another clip to where you want the actual video to start, after that, its optional for you to tell people to subscribe or not (really depends on your numbers).
Tags and hashtags for your video go a long way. I've put this in like 3 posts already lmao, but VidIQ helps with that, even gives you a checklist on how to make your video better when you are about to upload it. https://vidiq.com/
It's very easy to get tags, find a popular channel that similar to your content, https://vidiq.com or Tubuddy extension to your chrome browser, once you open a popular content that similar to your channel, the extension will bring the tags.
TubeBuddy is like VIDIQ - its a tool that sync to your youtube channel and provide statistics, recommended analysis, keywords, and much more.

I am using it with my YouTube Channel
The editing is great, love your message. I check out some of your other videos and you have and you have the same tags in everyone of them. Think of it this way, tags have to match a phrase that people search for, and by identifying your audience and coming up with phrases they might use for searching your video is what search engine optimization essentially is. Proper tags will also help your video be suggested to people who watch similar videos. There is also free tools that can help you with this like tubebuddy:

Hope this helps your video get some exposure.
I would look into https://ifttt.com/ to automate some of your posts. You can do, for example, every time you upload a video to YouTube it will Tweet about it with a custom Tweet. Or, every time you upload a Video to YT, it can start a framework for your WordPress blog.
I am not on my home computer with TubeBuddy installed, but I highly recommend at least giving that a try if you haven't already. I'm not sure if I can do a shameless plug for it here or not but I use it every day pretty much. My affiliate link is here in full disclosure: https://www.tubebuddy.com/markgingrass
Also, in your description, straight up tell people "If you like this video and want to see more, hit the Subscribe button." Or tell them to Share it. Same with on Twitter. Make sure to use some good hash tags.
Try to use something like Google Keep to keep notes on what you want to put in ALL of your descriptions so you can just cut/paste them. I wish I could see your tags but I can't right now.
I know all of this takes time. Hopefully you get it down to a science because these videos are pretty funny. I watched the War Games one as well.

Download this app. its free or you can upgrade to paid version. It helps you get your channel seen by more people, simply by using titles, tags and keywords better!!!
This should do the trick! try going up by 50 at first and make a quick test. Keep going up by 50 till you find a balance that feel right. You can post that here and we can tell you if we think you need to adjust any more. Good Luck!

But I think, <strong><em>Instagram challenges</em></strong> can also help to increase the engagement rate on Instagram.
Because the challenges on Instagram will not only help you to gain followers, engaging your followers but it also helps to highlight the brand identity by incorporating it into your challenge posts.
Here's a list of the best places to find your music. There are succinct descriptions to help you choose what's best for you. https://buffer.com/library/background-music-video
If you feel overwhelmed, start with youtube's audio library so you can get going with creation, while you begin to figure out what sites and artists you like.
I would absolutely suggest the Rode NT-USB which I picked up at £110 so within your price range. Honestly not just in tech, but in terms of anything I've ever bought from kitchen knives to pet homes that microphone is the most I've ever been impressed with value vs money and it's apparent as soon as I opened the box. Not that it would but if mine broke tomorrow I'd buy another without thinking that same moment.
I swear I do not work for this company.
You should look into a lavalier mic setup. Lavaliers are great because most people can acknowledge a lavalier without being distracted by it. The mics themselves are cheap, but the expensive part is the transmitter/receiver combo. It just depends on what your budget is.
I personally bought this transmitter/receiver from Amazon. I tested it the other day. This one is really easy to use for a transmitter/receiver, and the audio came out exactly how you would want it.
Alternatively, if you have a mic already, you can look into a boom/mic stand setup to hold the mic (either someone can physically hold it for you or you get a stand). There are many simple solutions that usually aren't that pricey.
Here is an example of a mic stand. If you want to save money, you just need to make sure you find the appropriate stand that matches your mic (if you are trying to avoid having the mic in the shot). Hope this helps!
For sure. The Fifine T669 is a good budget microphone. Good for podcasting too. The microphone itself is on sale right now for $30 but usually runs less than $40. The one I linked is a whole starter kit that comes with a boom, pop filter and a shock mount.
You can go a fairly long way with it as long as you record in ideal conditions or use a noise filter.
hey thank you so much for your feedback, and yes for sure i even noticed the framing is too close and weird, https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B074DWJ6C7/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o02_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1&tag= this is the mic set i used, i cleaned up the audio in final cut tho !givelambda
I'll begin with the thumbnail. It's perfect. Maybe add the channel logo in the corner. The part with the haircuts is whimsical. Although, the introduction could've been more concise and still more humorous. You really need to get a better microphone. I am currently using a basic condenser podcast microphone (65% discount) along with some voice-over enhancements through Audacity and Final Cut. About the ending, it looked like some sort of editing error to me (maybe I'm dumb), but I think you could've added an end-screen for the video. These kinds of videos are on the rise, so with good editing and good content, you'll be fine. Hope I get some lambda.
Here's a decent microphone that you can use: https://www.amazon.com/Microphone-MAONO-AU-A04T-Condenser-Streaming/dp/B07QVNXBDL/ref=sr_1_10?dchild=1&keywords=maono&qid=1608104457&sr=8-10
Although, boom arms might be better. Have a nice day (or night, maybe).
I have a toner mic and really like it. Was under $40.
Heres a link to what I am using. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07WLWN2ZT/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o06_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I haven't personally used one or had a need to use one, but I do know there's a functional difference between a pop filter and a deadcat. You can get deadcats for lapel mics. Like this.
Yo! What I recommend first, is if using lapel, use a wind filter and/or tuck it inside your shirt. Additionally, investing in something like THIS would be ideal. I have one and have done a few outdoors scenes. It's a game changer. As for in editing software, I don't know premiere, only audacity, so... yeah. Hope that helps.
I think I have a little piece of help.
When you have a scene, let's say, the balloons and the number in the start, how could you make it more polished? Maybe animate the ballon moving and then in premiere you just move it yourself, maybe make 2 numbers of the same with slight outlines so it feels animated slightly. When I make a video, before I publish it I get a day or a couple looking for parts where I could polish the video further, I think you should try that.
Second, I don't know if you are a newbie artist or not, but I think you need to work on the backgrounds, and use more straight lines than the weird curved ones (I am not an artist so I might be wrong here).
Third, your audio quality could be improved further, you could try to record in a less echo-y room, but if you know your microphone is really cheap and not as good I recently purchased a mike less than 70€ (50$ if you live in USA) and it has everything I would ask for, + the quality of it is amazing, it's called YOTTO USB Microphone
Hope it helps you!
Yeah! Amazon has mic arms that have adapters to fit Blue Yeti's, we have 3 of these:

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01L3LL95O/ref=oh_aui_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 And they work pretty well, just put some cloth pads between the clamp and your desk so you don't damage the wood.
Thank you so much! and yup! I got it off amazon and its the best one I've ever had. Here is the link :) https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001CNG7RY/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Your idea is really good. Can you please review my game, SlideSide. It's on android.
Here's the link

I use this lapel mic as it gets my voice much clearer than the one in my phone. I also use RecForge2 (app) which is free and outstanding. :)
!givelambda
Thank you so much! This is the mic I use, very cheap and affordable and it works great.
Seriously, laughed out loud to the valorant in the wild section. Your creativity shines through there and it's special, keep trying stuff like that, don't be afraid to make a flop!
all-in-all great stuff and great to hear you are looking to make those improvements. You got a sub from me! I have a blue snowball that was about $50 that i use, it's not the most spectacular thing in the world but price for performance think it's wonderful and unless you're doing crazy sound stuff should work great if you're interested and have the money, heres a link: https://www.amazon.com/Blue-Snowball-Condenser-Microphone-Cardioid/dp/B014PYGTUQ
The video length was spot on, like what you are doing now, start short then get longer as you get more experience. And... many others already mentioned but here it is - I use this for audio and it's been worth every penny spent.
Awesome video dude, but here are some tips I can give. Audio Quality- Your Mic is not very good at all, and sounds unprofessional, I recommend buying a better microphone, even a cheap one on Amazon, I got mine around for $55 CAD, with a full on kit which comes with it. Here is the link to the mic I have, it's not the best mic ever, but it works, you can also fine tune your audio with audacity. Your thumbail- Your thumbnail and font do not look good whatsoever. I reccomend getting some fonts, and using more cleaner fonts to give off a more professional vibe, I reccomend the Nexa Bold, that's what I use atleast, but you can go to this website , and find a font which you like. Also if you have photoshop, make sure to play around with the blending settings, for example, adding a stroke, shadow, outer glow, etc.. etc.. this will make your text pop much more. Other then that, it's good!
I have an h4n like this: https://www.amazon.com/Zoom-H4n-PRO-Movo-Omnidirectional/dp/B01M0JXOFU
but you can find a pre-owned for less one that works fine on Amazon or even eBay. You can use a lavalier mic with it, or attach it to a camera or boom pole, etc.
I feel like I was born for this question. Okay first there is a ‘selfie ring light’ on amazon that you can buy for around 10 bucks. You slide it on phone. It last for several hours and is rechargeable. Mine came with two for 10$. Selfie Ring Light, XINBAOHONG Rechargeable Clip-on Selfie Fill Light with 48 LED for iPhone/Android Smart Phone Photography, Camera Video, Girl Makes up(White) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B073FDKWDY/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_fNvaFb91XM517
Then you can get a decent snowball mic that connects to your phone via usb. We actually found one at our local pawn shop for 20$.
Also if you have a decent smart phone. You could just use audio from the smart phone.
it’s easy to add the audio to the video in process.
Depending on Mac or windows computer not sure what to advise you on programs to edit with. If Mac I advise lumafusion (you can edit straight on phone).
Hope this helps!
Hey again! So yeah at this point length can’t be changed, but for future episodes as you said, a shorter time per video imo would be beneficial. For the audio, I recommend filtering it using audacity. If you record just blank sound (no talking, just the what it sounds like if you sit there and do nothing and the fan is on), you can use that blank to filter your actual voice. It’ll take out any fan noises or any other ambient noises. As for the mic, I’m currently using a Fifine USB Condenser Mic (Amazon link below). I’m pretty happy with the clarity and I’ll probably be using it until I need to upgrade. So far, it sounds pretty good and I would recommend it! Unfortunately, I don’t have any examples of the mic in action except the videos on my channel, however, I don’t want it to seem like I’m advertising my content or anything, so I won’t be putting a link in this response (my channel is already linked elsewhere on this thread). Oh and also, I would recommend waiting to buy the mic. I bought it when it was only like 20 dollars and was definitely worth it. It seems the “plague that shall not be named” is hiking up prices a bit.
Other than that, good luck! Feel free to hit me up for a review if you need!
Very well edited video, and the script was great! Unlike a few others in here I thought the music was conservative enough to give a good vibe for what's going on. That might just be preference though.
The only criticism I would give you is you need a pop filter for your microphone!!! Something like this. All the hard P sounds will be softened if you speak through this.
