They still show as being in stock on Amazon UK, Amazon EU has a separate backend from Amazon US so it should be should be shipped from the EU.
Visited this page and was surprised to see here a picture of Alita in her Motorball body (manga version)
Enlarge the screenshot or go see for yourself: https://www.foundry.com/products/modo
The Amazon link for US/NA says " Playback Region 2:This will not play on most DVD players sold in the U.S."
I think maybe this is the right link?

Saved, thanks for the convenient list. I've bought a bunch of Alita merchandise, but from stores near my instead of the websites. (e.g. Ido's journal, art book, and both prequel and movie novelizations from Chapters Indigo, and the funko pops from EB Games) . This would add to the movie's profit too right?
Also, you should add the soundtrack onto the list! I bought mine from Amazon (but I believe it's from the official distributor Distributor (Canada)
Something is off:
>International Product from outside Australia
>
>Ships from and sold by Amazon US
>
>No sellers are currently delivering this item to the United States.
>
>Region: Region A/1 (Read more about DVD/Blu-ray formats.)
>
>ASIN: B07ML9YZ3L
This is a different ASIN than the current B/2 listing on Amazon US:
>Region: Region B/2 (Read more about DVD/Blu-ray formats.)
>
>ASIN: B07N7SHR8Y
But B07ML9YZ3L might actually be the US A/1 ASIN, just not listed in the US store yet.
Attempting to open the Region A/1 ASIN on Amazon US: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07ML9YZ3L results in a 404 page, but may be the page it is ultimately published on when available.
Thanks :) Font is not mine though, it's called
Share Tech Mono
. I also wanted to use a font similar to 7-segment displays like
DSEG
, but then I thought that this would be too much.
There may be a misunderstanding going on here. What I meant is that you could write your database as a separate program that can run continually as a service, and have the request handlers in Flask ask it for data in whatever way you choose. If Flask itself can't have that long-lived thread that you seem to want, that is.
Flask does have a built-in web server for development, but it is insecure. Apart from that, it does not handle HTTP on it's own. Here are your options for deploying Flask in production: http://flask.pocoo.org/docs/1.0/deploying/#deployment-options
Amazon UK posted an update image with the sticker on (for their US region copy)... hopefully not some third party seller trolling us...
Woah, that is waaay too much, use amazon instead.
Weta senior visual effects supervisor Joe Lotteri explains: "We preserved Alita's oversized eyes from her manga origins, but without breaking from the realism of the world she is in". As Alita also has a cybernetic body, "This balance of large expressive eyes became a key part of her design that helped her character straddle the line between human and machine" [...] she looks almost entirely human.
As a character moves further away from human, the question and objection diminish, the viewer is more forgiving and it ultimately works.
-Alita Battle Angel: The art and making of the movie
Sorry if I can't remember the source now but I heard/red somewhere that they thought that, as written before people would accept the large eyes, since she is not 100% human anyway and they would just accept it, forget in and then move onto appreciating the movie itself rather than fixating on her eyes. I'll try to find the source, it might be that same book, maybe I missed it or maybe it was on the movie's bonus features.
About my personal opinion, I absolutely love them, but I can see why it could seem creepy or strange, but they are much better than they are on the trailer, those were actually really awful.
It dropped again - from ~$162 to ~$106 to $98.74 while I was posting:
The image is reversed, but is this OK?
LATEST PRICE DROP - $115, down from nearly $150:
Obviously not as cheap as ~$100 when I bought 3 yrs ago, bc inflation
Adobe has good taste.
If you want to do 3D sculpting, animation, and workflow, there is nothing better than the free Blender (https://www.blender.org). It’s not an industry standard yet, but widely used by professionals.
Hmm. From what I see, the UE toolset it is officially available for Mac and Windows (https://www.unrealengine.com/en-US/download?sessionInvalidated=true), and it also has dedicated toolsets for Linux and Android project compilation. There are no components to speak of, you just need the engine of proper version installed.
Which Huion tablet did your friend lend you? I use Huion tablets (640P and Q620M) and they are great bang for the buck. The Wacom Intuos Pro is a beast, but at a beastly price. The Huion does 90% of the Wacom for a fraction of the cost.
Photoshop is the de facto industry standard though many artists now use Procreate or Procreate + Photoshop in their workflow. Lots of free lessons on digital painting that are geared for Photoshop on Youtube.
Another industry standard for manga artists (mangaka) is Clip Studio Paint which is like Photoshop with quality of life features for manga/comics. Yukito Kishiro uses this. There should be a sale soon. $25 for the Pro version. You can download a 30-day free version.
while not patches, looks like someone is selling some pins from the A:BA Experience on amazon
Amazon US doesn't have much info about it: https://www.amazon.com/Alita-Battle-Angel-UHD-Blu-Ray/dp/B07N7YQDZD
But Amazon UK at least has the prices: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Alita-Battle-Angel-UHD-Blu-Ray/dp/B07N7YQDZD
Neither of which state the release date.
Apparently on Amazon it shows the region for the blu-ray is Region A/1, which does not include Australia (Region B/2), wander if we could even play it...
It's the Central European version. They're available on Amazon DE and they were available from bol.nl but not any more, it seems.
In case you don’t know, there are three manga series related to Alita. The original Battle Angel Alita, the sequel Last Order, and the semi-prequel Mars Chronicle. The release order is the recommended reading order. In my opinion, the best way to read the original series is with the deluxe hardcovers. It’s not the cheapest, but you won’t find it with better quality than that. You’ll be stuck with paperbacks for the other two series unless you speak German, in which case you can pick up a deluxe hardcover version of Last Order.
I’m not one for piracy, but that would be your cheapest option to read the manga.
Edit: if you pick up the series in physical format, be aware that the Viz Media printings are out of print and will be hard/expensive to find. Kodansha Comics is the current publisher of Battle Angel Alita (aka GUNNM).
Legally you should be able to get the movie either on Google Play (https://play.google.com/store/movies/details/Alita_Battle_Angel?id=jwlu7jkYI1A&hl=en) or on Amazon, I guess (https://www.amazon.com/Alita-Battle-Angel-Rosa-Salazar/dp/B07NKFB4NS)
