I googled it and the closest I found was this Anti-Mage class. It's super OP tho -- use rxn to give ADV on a save for allies or DISADV for an enemy attack AT FIRST LEVEL! I would not allow it in my game without serious rebalancing.

Yo chief, Photopea is a in-browser version of Photoshop made by some dude, it's free. It's not by Adobe, it's just a program very closely designed to Photoshop.
It will take a tid bit of know-how to use it, seeing you probably don't use Photoshop or similar photo editing software. But it's in browser and responsive. Alternatively, just type in "image editor online" and see what comes up, there are many of those online too.
Also just dropping it here for anyone else who might find this info useful.
(some people use google docs to make reference sheets as well)

Learning the program is probably the best way to get used to it. There are alot of tutorials online and Krita has a website that may have some videos to help. (Krita.org website)
If you find Krita too overwhelming, try other programs as well. A lot of these art programs have similar features and tools to use, it's just getting used to the icons and layout of UI.
And/or Find brushes to add to your Tool kit. You don't have to use every tool immediately. Mess with all the features until you get used to them.
For style, it's a little trickier. Style is always changing. Even if someone has a distinct style it's still different from where they started, and will keep changing ever so slightly as they go. You can take inspiration from artists you follow and try different styles, don't copy a style just incorporate it into your normal drawing style.
Take inspiration from others. Try to participate in those Draw this in your style prompts to start working on your digital art. And your style will develop over time, so don't try to rush to find your individual style. Get used to your new tools and the freedoms you have in art before worrying too much and it'll come naturally.

I use a couple! The lines for this one were done with the conte brush from this blog but most of my stuff is done with the Kyle T Webster brushes.
I use Photoshop cc, and I recently have been using these gouache brushes! I really like them, but I occasionally mix in a pastel for other textures and things.

As others have mentioned GIMP is a great program, very much like photoshop and an excellent place to learn prior to shelling out for PS. You should use a tablet for sure, wacom makes excellent tablets and you can find them for relatively cheap. This one is rather small but you could get a refurbished intuos pro for not much more. Good luck in your journey!

Here are a couple portraits I did of us in an earlier campaign. I think I've improved since then. I also drew the city we're using for the current campaign.
Internet artists on tumblr and the like, the ones where you consider their work "really good", but also mundane at the same time, will usually charge 50USD.
Look here tumblr/Comissions-Open. Price is usually based on effort spent, which means better artists tend to be cheaper, because they get done quicker. As soon as demand goes past what they can offer though, prices will skyrocket.
You can also try asking on Pixiv in Japanese, where there is less of a commission culture. Professional artists will charge a few hundred, but at the same time, there are plenty of amazingly talented people who are fine with like 10, because they just enjoy drawing and are happy to be getting attention.

Jurupema, Lady of Moths and Beetles
Concept
Ages ago, in a damp misty forest, an artifact was placed. Something that could never be destroyed by the guardians was then hidden to never be found. To protect it and make sure no one places their thoughts in it, out of moths and beetles Jurupema was created and to her the power and control over them was given. Moths would scout, hide and report to her everything that happened within the forest, and if it were a threat then the beetles would take care of it. This was the pact and mission between her and the insects. Today, what she protects is still unknown and if any shall dare to enter the forest, then in return, Jurupema, Lady of Moths and Beetles shall make them meet their end.

Hi! sounds interesting! I hope you can consider me, i've drawn some of the before mentioned characters before, whilst specializing in character art!
I actually own that burgundy dress. If you ever end up cosplaying as her, this is a great quality dress that lives up to expectations. My only complaint is that there are a few long threads sticking out, but no sloppy seams or anything like that. It's also a bit more purple-ish in person. And the bow tie part (not the ruffle part) is safety pinned to the collar, not tied or sewn on.

Hi I use Max Pack comic brushes, they're 15$ https://www.maxpacks.art/ I usually switch between sable inker clean and sable inker soft, if I wanna do wild hair I use the toothy inker because it has a grainy effect. Also I use the Stratmore brush from a free pack here https://sellfy.com/p/XuHa/

I exclusively use my wacom and recently upgraded to a cintiq after a sweet corporate gig. The trick is to use a lightly textured brush that covers all the little jagged bits you get from drawing a line too slowly. This way the rough edges just look natural and you come out with a more hand-drawn looking line.
Personally I use Kyle's Ultimate Megapack and stick to one called "China Marker". The rest of his brushes are pretty nifty too and come in handy a bunch.
Well, the brush I have been using the most lately has been the gouache brush set by Kyle Webster! I also use a pastel sometimes for different textures :)
I'm afraid I don't have an answer for the GIMP question though! Here is his shop
i use design doll.
it's a 3d modeling program, sort of, that acts as a poseable mannequin. you can adjust the proportions of everything as you see fit, and they're ultra-poseable. the free trial has unlimited uses, you just can't open saved projects, so just export your finished pose as a flat image and use that. the benefit of it is you can get the exact pose you want from any angle without being limited by trying to find a photographed pose that's not quite what you want.

Ahhh I love that half-orc necromancer so much. I use a Wacom Intuos, but there are lots of decent (cheaper) alternatives. I definitely recommend a tablet over a mouse, though. You should check out Krita; it's free, and a great program. It's what I used for this piece. Feel free to PM me if you've ever got questions. : )
This is the first time I have tried to do any form of background for a full character sketch. I feel Tika herself is quite well drawn, and am happy with this piece.
Tika herself is based off of a bird called a Hoopoe.

u/Cassiesusl is completely correct in that this is all muscle memory. I spent the majority of my twenties working as a graphic designer on a tablet-screen combo, and found after a few months I had become used to it.
If you're interested in keeping to something that feels a bit more natural (and have the scratch to purchase it), I can recommend the Huion KAMVAS Pro 16. I purchased mine last year and it's really started to elevate my personal work.
