post some images or other logos that you like, so we can get a sense of what direction you want to take it.
Maybe even do the Logo Design Brief cause the more info we have, the easier it will be for us to provide you with a logo you really like.
Something like this? http://i.imgur.com/lwKopyS.jpg
Think the bottom blue block should knock out sooner. The type I used isn't perfect, maybe a more retro would be better suited. Used an 'off' white as the 'grey', as blues and greys don't tend to work well. You should typically use complimentary colours (opposites), like the blue and yellow in the mockup above. See http://paletton.com for guidance. Give me a shout if you want to use, I can change colours and do it in vector format.
http://tinypic.com/r/9fsls5/8 few sketches, I really like the idea of making it into a logo like "the pretty green" logo but with an image or illustration clipping masked over the text, let me know what you think :)
I come in peace and mean no disrespect. It's hard to convey my kind of humor through type. I'm sorry if I am not as helpful as I really try to be.
I just wanted to help you out. The best way for a graphic artist to make your logo is when you give an image(s) that represents your vision or comes close to it. The sidebar here has a plethora of great ideas for clients. Besides this is free work and 9 times out of ten you really get great quality here. So be sure to check out the FAQ and then really put some thought into the LOGO DESIGN BRIEF.
I still wish you the best of luck and maybe if no one else picks up this post I might try to give it a shot. I'll keep my eyes peeled.
I feel bad. That is a pretty bad logo. Anyway I think I can help. If you give me more info on what your company does and help explain what you envision a newer logo to look like, I can help you out with a logo.
If you could give some more information that would be great
(dont bother describing the weird color things or the words that describe you unless you want too)
I just wanted to chime in and say I really like the progression of this logo it's looking cool, I also came here to say I think the OP meant more of a black letter font style when he said old english. One of my favourite fonts to give a black letter feel is Utile just my two cents
anyways I'm out- looking good and good concept!
Oops! I made the changes this morning but apparently never posted them. I apologize for that.
Here's the PSD: Dropbox Link
Font name: Univers
The word 'Peace' uses the LIGHT variation
While Keepers uses BOLD variation
I focused on readability and recognizability while designing the logo. the type is clearly visible and easily readable. The font is a modified version of Haus Sans (An example of the modification is the slanted lower end of the letter "y").
The Shape behind the type forms the letter "A" (for, well, anomaly) and helps center the overall composition as well as the visual center of the design. The shape can, of course also be used on its own, without the type.
If you have any feedback/requests or are happy with the logo, feel free to message me.
Yeah you should be good as long as your logo has a transparent background. (For it to have a transparent background it must be a PNG, PSD, PDN etc not a JPG or GIF) Also you need some software. Since you seem like a beginner (Correct me if I'm wrong) just use something free. I suggest Paint.NET. Its simply a more advanced version of MS Paint, but it can edit images with transparency and supports layers.
please pick one thing that you want to see on your website. Your logo is the best place to start.

If you do this, I can help.
you would have to be a bit more specific. Another wonderful redditor posted this to help with the design process. when you really take the time to decide more of the approach you want with your design this sub-reddit would become most helpful.
also, the side bar: >Please be as descriptive as possible. As designers, it's extremely difficult to give you what you want without you telling us what that is.
How about this: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B_DC7Oz95HMLNTFWcWNpU2ZEV0E/edit?usp=sharing
I can provide the source vector material so you can use this on various things like business cards and posters without pixelation.
It is great so far, I've found a great model that I think would be awesome here:
https://dribbble.com/shots/1977629-Millder-Venture-Partners-Logo
This color and the shadow effect is perfect in my opinion if you can do it with the last model on your picture.
I also agree with /u/yourmomlurks about the tail. I think we are better without it.
Thank You.
Got it, couldn't do the java logo because illustrator was being a real bitch with updating -_- Well, here you are, zip file with 1 .ai and 1 .psd.
Here's my portfolio: https://www.behance.net/chasepatt
I'd be open to possibly doing commissions. I'm looking to expand my portfolio. I'm not familiar with Twitch, I've only heard of it in passing.
Why not use this?
I have used it before and it builds a PC and Mobile version of the site. Tons of professional Themes.

It is not "your logo". Have a nice day
Thanks for taking up the request!
Some great ideas here, but we were thinking more of a what the design brief template describes as a "Pictoral Mark." This is important because we will want to have the flexibility to sometimes use the logo in ways that may not lend themselves to text necessarily.
Along with circus tents, we've also played with images of stars "night's canopy" if you will, if that gives you more elements for inspiration. We actually licensed that noun project star image as a temporary logo when we were first pulling together this idea.
I really like it, but I was wondering if you could use a nicer looking speedometer like this one https://www.iconfinder.com/icons/175402/speedometer_icon or this one https://cdn2.iconfinder.com/data/icons/business-icons-1-2/256/Increase_Productivity-128.png. Also, I was wondering if you could change the yellow color to something nicer. Other than that its really really nice. Thanks!!!!
Maybe something like this?
It's a graphic that not only forms the shape of Wisconsin, but also a window underneath the title "City Glass Company". "Since 1920" isn't a super great slogan, but I do think it's an improvement over what's being used now. I think it helps to show how dependable and trustworthy the business is, since it's been around for almost 100 years. I'll keep trying, though. Definitely let me know if you come up with anything, too.
Oh man, Thank you so much! The only thing I would change might be over to a font more like one of these https://creativemarket.com/Zeppelin_Graphics/742643-25-OFF-100-Minimal-Logos-BONUS/screenshots/#screenshot3 and have each name be different thickness or font like so https://img0.etsystatic.com/064/0/10773810/il_340x270.754909622_nwec.jpg It didn't even occur to me to use the O in my name as a shutter! Genius!
Here are a couple font styles: http://i.imgur.com/a8tVYzz.jpg Not sure which way you are wanting to go with the colors. It would be great if you went here and picked out a few and let me know the HEX Number
You are the best! I prefer the second one with the darker red. Is it possible to move the hands closer to the globe and make them slightly bigger. Could you also give it a go with the first color from this array? Thank you!
http://imgur.com/a/ePhoP <----- Here's the one I made. I was thinking about adding the pawns/buttons of your game flying around the text or something to give it a nice unique look. (But I can't tell what they actually look like because of the view in your picture of the board.) But I think this one turned out pretty nice. I tried my skills in Illustrator for vector but it didn't quite work out to be a nice looking logo :D It's in various sizes in the album and I don't know why imgur changes the second one to jpg :/ Here it is in png ---->http://postimage.org/image/rg8tt2xdj/full/
I've designed a banner, if it isn't suitable, don't worry about it: http://designfife.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2015/11/reddit-banner.jpg
The banner is sized to 2500 width x 450 height.

Glad you like her.
The tutorial is fantastic. If you have Illustrator or Inkscape, I recommend giving it a go even if it’s just a learning experience.
I hope you post your Yeti shirt whatever you end up with (and have a blast at DragCon!).
Here's a link to my old stuff. I went by the name "The Z-Axis" for awhile, but I decided to change my alias to "Onslot", which is a name I use a lot in video games. I've been waiting on a new logo before creating a new Soundcloud. Thanks guys ^_^
Well i dont think I understand. Anyway I tried to make it better and here is the link: http://imgur.com/57PnyTM If someone has any idea how to make it better then do it, here is the source: https://mega.nz/#!7hhgEQYY!K6utO6PYI7EPnYzPk_q_2IMVAW5rRWspI3ButIbBtXU
Instead of designing one from scratch, could you make mine a bit more professional? The company is Good, Inc. and the logo spells out GOOD. I've come up with the general look, but the line weights and placements might be improved.. I also made it in Solidworks (an engineering program) so the vector form doesn't come out quite right.
Any improvements towards a professional, vectorized logo would be appreciated!
