Here's a fun Chika fact:
In my poll asking people who their favourite non-mainstay characters were, Chika landed in the bottom tiers. However, during the eliminations of Miss Gamindustri, Chika seeded higher than the vast majority of makers, 21 out of 64 placing below Nepgya. This means that while Chika's dedicated fanbase is rather small, there are lots of people who generally appreciate her character.

noun
1. a female servant.
2. a girl or young unmarried woman.
3. Archaic. a virgin.
She fits 2 of the descriptions, unless there was an unmentioned suitor.
Hire her anyway. Considering her CPU status, she would likely not need financial compensation (likely only pudding compensation), and you get Neptune in a maid outfit. Really, the only downside is keeping pudding supplied, which is likely worth the cost.
I have thousands of Nep pictures (most sources have been lost to the ages, that I want to share as well as videos I make will be on minds.com https://www.minds.com/NepEcchiFan

~~I'm not a sellout~~
I was browsing Anime Planet building up my list of stuff to watch and I had seen Hyperdimension Neptunia under their list. I thought the characters looked cute so I tagged it as Want to Watch.
Then a few weeks later, I saw Re;Birth1 went up onto Steam. I was like "Wait a second. This uses the same name as the Animation. I didn't know there were games for this." So I decided to watch the Animation before I played the Game, since I rarely ever played JRPGs growing up, and rarely like them.
It was confusing at first, but it grew on me, and I really loved it. Played Re;Birth1 afterwards. Loved it. Watched a friend play the original HDN. Did not like that at first, but all the Dialogue in that caught me even more.
So even though I spoiled myself with some Victory spoilers from the Animation, it was worth it in the end, especially since I have a Purple Heart poster up in my room, and hopefully a PS3 / PS4 in the next several months so I can play more HDN.
This right here has the most chapters for it I could find. Pretty sure it's official, and it seems pretty decent from what I've seen.
You and /u/Ironic_Pudding are absolutely right. Translating and learning short phrases, basic can be a lot more effective. I've never formally studied Japanese but I like to think I have a decent-ish grasp of it now. Before playing Neptunia, I couldn't even make out what they were saying in battle, but after a long time trying to transcribe and learn the quotes I'm pretty confident at it now.
You can find some of the battle quotes here (RB3 specific), and I'd recommend jisho.org as a very good Japanese dictionary. And of course you're free to ask us for anything specific you'd like to know.
Instructions: Wash your raw Umio fish and then placed it on a heated pan. Sprinkle fair amount of salt on top of it and enjoy your taste of Friendship!!
You like backstories?.. Here is one, what immediately came to mind.. ;P Nepgear is standing in front of certain someone, who asked her to come this night to him only in something that he already gave her as a present.. I wonder, who can it be, with the HS d-pad... ;P
Also, really great art! I'm just... Well, I'm like this guy right now.. ;D But seriously, I feel a bit conflicted - such a pure and innocent Gearsy, but she's so hot and sexy and the same time.. ;P Thank you for this gorgeous Gear! :)
Sir.
Yes, you can run this script through CMD or Powershell, the only requirement is that you download Python 3.x.x. When you install Python, run "congen.py" in the command line at the script's directory to get started. And yes, you can compile it yourself: the way I did it was via pyinstaller (and you need to install Python to use it.)
You'd need to use this emulator (provided you have a legal copy of the game and any files from your own PS3 that are required)
As of the last test, it works to a fair degree, but the exact scope is unknown and you may need to do some tweaking to get it to run well, but whether it's completely playable from start to finish is unknown.
Play asia has some but at their high pricing.
And eBay has quite a few copies around the play asia pricing.
I think I found the source, but the original DeviantArt page returns a 404. Here's another upload of it on some wiki, with the same artist name attached.
Speaking of sales, there's a Victory II steam key sale on indie gala right freakin' now! for 40% off.
Even if you do have a decent PC, be sure you check the system requirements though. I've heard the PC port suffers from some optimization problems.
All they said was that they were unable to get a hold of a couple actors for the anime.
"Well, while we couldn’t bring back EVERYONE, we are pleased to announce that we were able to secure the majority of the main cast from the games!"

> So there would be no reason for being selective.
I don't know...I think people like Nepgear tend to be care about well-being of her citizen and go for actual threat...
> ~~What does deferentially means~~
~~What are you talking about.~~ ^TIL ^deferentially ^mean ^showing ^a ^lot ^o ^respect
> Nepgear having a dogoo fetish was confirmed in the Manga
~~Does her fetish come in a way of ruling her nation?~~
Anyway, I am going to sleep because it past midnight now from here, so, good night...
For this one, there is Megaresolution Neptunia, find the link to it on this wiki, since github links might end up being considered spam and the comment be removed.
Also, what's playable for you? You'll probably be able to play at 15 fps, lowering resolution a lot I'd guess. VII is a port from a PS4 game, so much more demanding than the Vita ones.
I'm just going by this http://howlongtobeat.com/game.php?id=25689
(Which is only based on 3 users' input it seems....)
30 hours seems a lot more palatable.
I kind of hated Neptunia 1's (not re;birth) combat, but I liked the story and characters so much I got 2 and V (haven't started them yet). I presume Quintet has the most "up to date" combat in comparison?
Thanks for the "idol" info, too!
That reminds me: Crunchyroll has the Black Heart phone stand figure.
$25. For me (in the US and a paid member), it shows free shipping.
It's not the same class of product as the Alter one, but it's still cute.
EDIT: they also have a 2nd production run of a Purple Heart figure, but $200 is indeed a steep price.
It's funny because when I heard about this I thought it got delay again, but after I started to research it. I found out they were talking about the delay that happened in September 4, 2018.
Well I guess no one read the blog news announcement that Compile Heart post on September 4, 2018 about the reason it got delay. Also I wrote a blog announcement on Neptunia Animo back in September 4, 2018 about the delay too.
Link to my blog: http://aminoapps.com/p/53i9m0
Basically for those who don't know why Super Neptunia RPG got delay. It wasn't because Sony new policies, but it was because Compile Heart, Idea Factory and Artison Studio the Canadian company who's helping them to make the game delay it because all three of them wanted to improve the quality of the game rather then just released it on it's original released date September 27, 2018 as game that needs more improvements, so they delay it and will release it on December 20, 2018 on Japan and Spring 2019 for the NA and EU. For those who don't believe me here the link of the blog news announcement that Compile Heart post on September 4, 2018.
Link: https://www.compileheart.com/news/?num=20180904
(note: it's all in Japanese)
Also the Sony new policies started to become a problem somewhere in October 12, 2018 when Senran Kagura Burst Re:Newal got delay because Sony wants to remove the Intimacy mode in the game. That's were Sony new policies started to effect some of the Japanese games and some Japanese game companies. I know people are still wondering will this effect Super Neptunia RPG. Well by far I can't speak to the game or the three companies because I don't work for them. Also none of them mention the game will be censor on the PlayStation 4 release, so by far the game might not be censor. Let's hope it's stay like that.
Thank you very much! I appreciate it! (Now I don't have to do that 2nd part of my beginner's premier after all!!)
On that note, I do have a few suggestions:
If anyone (in the US, anyway) wants to buy the anime series on BD, they can do so via Amazon here as well as digitally via pretty much all the digital services like Amazon, PSN, Google Play, and iTunes.
As I've mentioned in my post here, there exists Neptunia apps for smart devices. They're basically the same app, but one's in English, and the other in Japanese. The English one is published by NISA and has the dub, but nowhere near the content that the Japanese app (published by Idea Factory themselves) does. For example, it runs at higher resolutions, is available on Android, has Nepgear, Blanc, and Vert, and I believe there's a few more costumes to choose from. The only downside is that the text is in Japanese as well. (And no, you do NOT need Japanese Apple/Google accounts to download the Japanese version.)
WE NEED IT!
*Edit: Around $18 shipping to US. A LOT CHEAPER THAN 4GO Famistu Edition. Trust me.
**Edit: Which edition is the best one to get!? I found so many.
She can be actually preordered by now. So yeah.. ¥26,400 is recommended retail (including tax), 24,000 without tax. But I've seen her way below on Amazon Japan, Amiami, CDJapan - let's go price hunting.
My lowest so far is Amazon Japan who charge ¥22,520 for her (including tax, put her into your cart and pretend to check out to see the price without tax - or divide the price by 1.1 - so we're at ¥20,473). Still a lot of money... but yeah, maybe someone finds her for even lower.
This one would apply only for Android.
Download a VPN app (for example, TunnelBear) and switch to Japan. Then go into Play Store and type (or copy) まいコン in the search bar. Choose the first one with Neptune face.
If you haven't got into JP Play Store, try to clear data or create a new account they try again.
To fight and conquer in all your battles is not the acme of skill; the acme of skill consists in subduing the enemy without fighting - Sun Zi, The Art of War-
I disagree. The concept of 'there must be sacrifices' may be true in some cases, but not nearly to the extent demonstrated in the Conquest End. The Conquest End was disproportionate in terms of sacrifice.
If we take a look at "massed sacrifice to save the world", we see that even in the real world, the proportionate sacrifice is far lower even in the bloodiest of wars.
In World War II, the Soviet Union lost a staggering ~1/6 of its population due to repeated scorching of the earth and taking on nearly the full brutal force of what was at the time the world's most elite, disciplined, and technologically advanced armed forces.
Yet even so, even when relying on complete mobilization of children into factories, women onto the front lines, and anecdotal evidence of soldiers being sent into battle with little more than brooms, the exorbitant 30 million Soviet Losses is still paltry compared to the proportionate destruction in the Conquest End
7 out of 8 goddesses perish, and 3/4 nations are completed destroyed.
This is kind of staggering loss is not comparable to any kind of wartime sacrifice. The only comparable thing would be the high death toll estimates for the Black Plague (60% of Europe's population).
Additionally, Evil is NOT vanquished. Without delving into VII spoilers, all I can say is that the Deity of Sin's words at the end of the Conquest End are not empty threats.
Finally, the issue is that the True End shows that Nep and friends CAN win WITHOUT SACRIFICE.
This demonstrates that the sacrifice was unnecessary. That there was a path to [](/s "Hyperdimension Neptunia") Victory, and not a hollow Cadmean/Pyrrhic 'victory'
Well, the closest thing I can think of is this: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=jp.co.imagineer.neptune.theme04.app&hl=en
Works in English, and had the Vert one myself for a while. Helped me get through some pretty lame days :P
I wouldnt even bother attempting. Try testing your PC here but I dont expect it to work with that card, you may be able to skid by but if you do it will be just barely.
I bought the cover off Dakimakuri and the pillow off Amazon.
Making and shipping the cover took about 29 days for the cheaper shipping option.
Ebten officially produced plushies of the main 8 which are sold in Japan. They are also available on Amazon Japan which is an official store of Ebten but many other stores might have them as well. The link above leads to the entire pack but you can order them individually.
One info though: Amazon Japan only accepts debit/credit cards, no PayPal or other payment methods if you don't live in Japan.
For those wanting a patch for Dragon Star Varnir, you can get it here: https://pcgamingwiki.com/wiki/Dragon_Star_Varnir#High_frame_rate
I also provide instructions on how to hex edit the executable yourself (in the file description), if you don't want to use the patcher.
I've been thinking of perhaps instead of just using classic fighters, to add the scimitar bomber (more speed, slightly more hp, slightly less damage than normal bombers) for Blanc's ship fighter compartment. what do you think?
And in case youre wondering about the mod, heres a moddb link
I am not sure when I'll finish it as theres still some work to be done with infantry rigs/animations.
You can try 3D modeling for free and even find a lots of tutorials for free. I recommend blender 3D as software and this beginners tutorial .
It requires some free time not gonna lie( for this, my dead line was 3 hours but I ended up with full day) . But once you get used to you can do amazing stuff.
Who knows, maybe this is the born of an artist.
Additionally, if your situation here is un-improvable, you can merely just refund the game, although I recommend you do this only as a last resort, (and before you have accumulated 2 hours of playtime on the game or 7 days of "ownership" of the game, where you lose the ability to refund).
Googling "Neptunia cosplay" yields some results, like this Big Neptune hoodie. You'd probably have to make a lot of stuff yourself.
Thanks for pointing that out, I use f.lux, which changes the monitor colour at night to reduce strain on the eyes, which I totaly forgot about, will update with non-tinted pics
I'm not sure what to say but maybe I'll point you in some random direction. maybe you have something installed that's conflicting. I had a lot of problems back when GTA V first came out with MacType (font anti-aliasing engine). here's the pcgaming wiki for it rebirth1: https://pcgamingwiki.com/wiki/Hyperdimension_Neptunia_Re;Birth_1
Small Update:
I'm still working on the mk2/Victory site due to their large amount of external sites.
mk2 seems safe for the most part, besides the videos but Victory unfortunately seems out of luck as several important swf files are missing.
If you've visited the sites recently, some of those files might still be in your browser cache.
Please check the following tool to see if you have any of the missing files:
https://bluemaxima.org/flashpoint/datahub/Recovering_Files_from_Browser_Cache#Using_the_complete_version
It was added in im not sure when, I even tried looking stuff about it up online but either it's really new or not many people know about it. I took a screenshot of the menu, check it out. Could have been an update after the 10th anniversary of Neptune, although I can't say for sure.
If you are intent on watching it legally, you can watch it in SD with subs from Funimation here. Unfortunately they do not have the dub available freely. My personal opinion on the anime is that it's quite a fun watch and has fantastic music... Generally I'm quite fickle with what I consider to be a good anime. The fan service isn't too bad. It takes some of the comedic parts and bits of the plot from what I know of Re;birth2. I'm currently playing Re;birth3 but it seems that the second half (like episode 6 and onwards) of the anime has some parts/characters of Victory/RB3 adapted as well.
the minute it was up on a site, I binged the entire thing.
I'm so sad they didn't dub Ep13 though :(
Side note: The cast list says that Erin Fitzgerald is still Noire.
Google Translate isn't too bad at doing short and simple sentences and can be pretty good at individual words, but it has a lot of trouble with most sentences that you would see being used. Jisho is a lot better for individual words though and also has a way to look up Kanji by radicals. It only outputs the individual translation of each word, but it is generally a lot more helpful. That said it still can be difficult to understand the meaning of full sentences without knowledge of grammar (also some stuff like slang isn't present and some words have tons of different meanings).
If you have a PS4 controller and a bluetooth dongle (or internal since you have a laptop), you could use DS4Windows, which is really easy to set up and use.
With a PS3 controller I have used BetterDS3, which uses motionjoy drivers that is literal cancer. Setting it up is a bit difficult but in the end it works flawlessly, even if the underlying software is garbage.
I suggest getting QooApps on your phone then. It's pretty much App Store for Mobile Apps from Japan and other Asian territories. It even lets you update the Apps directly as well.
Sorry for the late reply. you can't get QOOAPP from the Playstore. It's the first result when you google "Qoo App. Or better yet, go here
You have to enable third party app installation, your phone will give you the option to enable it when you try to install it.
Congratulations to Planeptune, the winner of the last poll! Thanks for everyone who took their time to vote and comment! And poor Eden, didn't get any votes, although this was maybe kinda expected, given we have barely no information on that nation. As someone who lives in a big city, I'm impressed that many people voted for Lastation too, since I grew a bias against this general kind of nation and I'd rather more green enviroments.
Also, if you have any ideas to recommend for future polls, leave them as a reply to this comment or just PM me.
I wonder how much the result will change since the last time this was made. Although the results will be really different since the last one useda different range in the options. ~~Anyways, 21 here~~
You can download it using an app called APKPure, but it is Japanese.
If you got it from the same site as I, there's an APK app manager that you can download for both your PC and phone on the right side there. It's basically an app store for APK apps and it'll let you keep your apps updated.
You can only get the Japanese version of the app on Android through an APK
The English version was exclusive to Apple outside of Japan
Edit : Here is the link Curteousy of /u/kuletxcore
For the artstyle maybe you can grab some hyperdimension neptunia artbook (some of them comes with some concept sketches and notes from the author if you can understand japanese)
and as the person above me says, the visual novel asset (CG, character sprite) is hand drawn, though the character sprite is drawn and animated using live 2D, source: http://www.live2d.com/en/showcase/neptuni
If you're not up for trying to extract the assets directly, you might try finding as high a resolution one as you can get, then running it through waifu2x a couple of times. It's not a perfect solution, but w2x usually does a really good job of upscaling images without quality loss. Recommendation, though; don't hit Convert, hit Download. Convert opens the converted image in a new tab and is really really slow, Download just downloads it directly and goes a lot faster.
This product is on sale on Crunchyroll today. $25 for non-members, $23 for premium members.
I just had to buy it; I'll probably display only the figure (and ignore the phone stand).
EDIT: Added hyperlink, but the hyperlink formatting syntax didn't work.
EDIT2: oops, I had () and [] precisely backwards. Fixed.
I haven't made any full songs yet, but I love the sound of a piano, and I've been trying to make sense of Jeskola Buzz
I don't know how to play any instruments, and I just don't have the time or money to learn right now.
Edit: And I just realized I didn't even answer your question: I like to try and make trance music/remixes, such as this one.
Mods say that other subreddits don't have NSFW, so we should not as well. Time to criticize, because I can, and don't agree that mods should regulate these things. I don't have numbers of subreddits and how NSFW ban affected them, so feel free to be sceptical, of course, but just stumbled upon statistics of how Tumblr traffic changed since their recent changes, banning NSFW content. You can see it here. As you can see, viewership of tumblr dropped by 30% after their NSFW ban. It's not universal that NSFW ban will lead to better numbers. Thought it might be interesting for users, as it's recent censorship.. Also, I personally am against ban more because mods shouldn't decide what kind of content subreddit should have, except for illegal and trolling one. Everything else should be regulated by users, mods shouldn't ban for eternity content.
This is taken off steam. http://puu.sh/l5bzn/1c3b62a61a.png and heres the link to CFF Explorer http://www.ntcore.com/exsuite.php It worked for me, fixed the black box and I could get past the initial cutcenes.
Okay I found a way to fix the issue. This is taken off steam. http://puu.sh/l5bzn/1c3b62a61a.png and heres the like to CFF Explorer http://www.ntcore.com/exsuite.php It worked for me and I managed to get into the first fight against other 3 CPUs. Tell me if it works for you.
I think the problem is that R:B 3 wants to use more than 2Gb of ram but you're computer settings don't allow it so the program crashes.
Telegram is a better version of WhatsApp that's aviable for all platforms and not just mobile ones, one of the additional features it has are stickers everyone can send, use and even create. There even is a Nep one already aviable here

It's a surface device it automatically blows anything Apple makes out of the water. The Duo is the first Android phone from Microsoft built using hardware they originally planned to load Windows Mobile 10 on until they gave up due to developers not defecting back from Android or IOS and that what they got was shovelware that impersonated real apps and dummy apps put in to hold copyright in the store. Waze supported the OS until Google bought them then it was abandoned.
The Android image is Google certified but uses by default Microsoft Launcher as the shell something free for all Android devices. And has the default apps replaced with preloaded Microsoft ones. Mail is Outlook for Android Calendar also uses outlook. The mobile browser is Edge for Android using the Chrome core like the current PC version. If you login with your Microsoft account you use for Xbox and have rewards turned on you get points for using edge and launcher that can be converted to Xbox gift cards.

That's a review for the LE, after reading it looks like it was likely done by a hardcore simp that doesn't even care about how many problems the game has. Note how the review is completely uninformative.
Take a look at this review for the normal edition that was done by someone who tried to do an impartial review.
Okay, same one I use for my desktop
the mobile version does have some ads unless you own the PC Version
Once you get it on there, grab a live2d model of your favorite goddess(es) and a static image for the background and you are set
https://www.amazon.com/VE247H-1920x1080-DVI-D-Back-lit-Monitor/dp/B004EFUOY4/ref=dp_ob_title_ce
This is the new model of my monitor.
Its not IPS and isn't crazy but the build quality is amazing.
Mechanical Keyboards are too expensive for me to recommend as a starting point. However I can never go back to any other keyboard tbh.
Anything Logitech for Keyboard and Mouse should be good. Never had issues with Asus or Logitech products. Just my experience.
Captured on PS4 with https://www.amazon.com/GooBang-Doo-Nintendo-more-Supports-Microphone/dp/B075FWS1T5
Supports 1080 60fps with simple plug and play (for PS4 u need to disable HCPI) works with anything which has a HDMI connection
This is the JP one - I'm pretty sure the English version had the title in English. (Ref link: https://www.amazon.ca/Hyperdimension-Neptunia-Artworks-Idea-Factory/dp/1927925096)
I'd be down for an English version too :) Can literally double my collection size lol
Or another option is amazon JP. I got mine for 15700 yen. Price fluctuates but amazon will give you the lowest price from when you placed the order. Currently shipping price is unknown since they don't have the package weight to give an estimate. But they will ship directly to the US via DHL. I get items from them in 2 days and I'm in Texas.
I got you. Shipping is insane but will be fast. Amazon JP is more reasonable than amiami shipping. I had them cancel my order for a nep calendar. I could not justify the amount they were asking for. Amazon would ship the same item for a lot less. I think the high shipping amount is do to the bonus items and having either a larger or heavier package. They will ship internationally.
I've played through the RB games and VII on PC twice each, also Nep U. After all that was over I went out and bought a Vita, currently playing and enjoying Neptunia Producing Perfection on it, awaiting on Nep vs Sega. (I couldn't stand Noire's game, that self insert ruined everything for me)
I use /u/weeblordsupreme's vector backgrounds on my phone and Vita. Looks really good.
I enjoy listening to VII's ost while I play Rocket League. (Blanc Hat when, Psyonix pls.)
Kinda want to buy The Triple Nep Pack for PS3 and try out the old games.
Hey, don't be raggin' on those masks, I cosplayed Houston with that mask. Also there are funkier masks than that.
I think it's a compile heart "greatest hit" reprinting like what they did back in the day, where you could buy a greatest hits edition of a game for $20-30. I remember that from the SNES "player's choice" days, god I'm old. Unmarked down price from amazon(no discount) is ¥ 6,264 for the regular edition, ¥ 3,345 for the CH selection. Oddly enough, with amazon's discount the regular edition is cheaper than the CH edition.
Also, anyone got any audioable recommendations? I'm gonna try out the free trial for this, but then I'd have 2 more books to get
QooApp will not work. They explained that it requires verification from the play store anyway, so downloading the APK is of no use.
You can always download from rhe Japanese Play Store. Just grab a Japanese VPN, go onto a PC, and go to Google payments center to change your billing address to somewhere in Japan. Then, download the app using this link and use your credit card or get a Japanese gift card to buy the in-app purchases. I think you can switch your region back to whatever it was after downloading the app, since it will then be already registered in your inventory.
Just a heads up but you can also do it with Google Japanese Input. Just for those of us who need Japanese on their Android.
What... A simple Google search led me to the US and AU versions of Apple's App Store, containing Hyperdimension Neptunia the App. Play Store only has the Japanese version
