Week off work, and a freshly cracked open bottle of Rum. No school for me tomorrow :)

http://www.wheelstandracing.com/purchase?area=1 The stand I use for my wheel. Only £50 + £5 for postage in the UK. It's study enough for me, and more importantly it folds flat.
Only certain games were affected. Here is the official full list of games that are unaffected. Once on the page the tabs at the top will take you to lists that have known issues and such:

https://www.playstation.com/en-us/network/onlineid/games-list-home/no-known-tested-issues/
This is the one I use.
Or you could buy it brand new for $300. https://www.amazon.com/Logitech-Dual-Motor-Feedback-Responsive-Playstation/dp/B016JBE8LU?th=1
I got it on sale at Amazon for $200 without shifter. Shifter adds $50.
Depends on how much that table is worth to you, I guess. But the wheel is great.
Here is the guide I followed: http://www.gamefaqs.com/boards/707208-gran-turismo-6/69750046
Basically, do this:
Delete all local game data (GAME data, NOT SAVE data, this makes the PlayStation think the game has never been installed) and then:
1) Download and install updates 1.01 through 1.07 like normal.
2) Once the game begins downloading 1.08, cancel the update process and let the game boot up. You may need to disconnect the PlayStation from the network to prevent it checking for updates which will allow the game to run.
3) After the game has done the internal install and you are at the main menu (GT Home), quit the game and download and install 1.08.
4) Once the game begins downloading 1.09, cancel the update process and let the game boot up.
5) After the game has done the internal install and you are at the main menu (GT Home), quit the game and download and install 1.09.
6) Once the game begins downloading 1.10, cancel the update process and let the game boot up.
7) After the game has done the internal install and you are at the main menu (GT Home), quit the game and download and install 1.10.
8) For any additional updates, just keep repeating the process.
I hope this helps you. Let me know how you get on!

you can easily make 242,000 every 3 minute race on the Red Bull x2014 championship, with the 200% credits bonus.
This car doesn't seem right in 6th gear. I have been trying to tune it for days to get it right for Like the Wind and drag runs, trying to get the top speed maxed.
I can get 260 in 5th, but 6th slows down to the 250's unless I shoot nitrous, then I get 280. Maxed out, 1134hp, 330 miles on it, tried engine rebuild, everything.
Been scouring forums, and saw one guy who posted his tune and a video saying he got 375mph on ssrx. But I can't get better than 277 with his tune.
Here's the board with his tune
I know it won't help guys doing races, but maybe others can weigh in on this. Sucks when I can get 313 in a Supra.
Good to hear there is interest from the iOS side! We'll evaluate further down the line as the app gains more users.
The truth is neither of us has time to work on 2 separate mobile platforms at once - and since both of our expertise is in Android, we went with that. However, there are some promising solutions on the horizon in terms of multi-platform frameworks (see Kotlin Multiplat support https://kotlinlang.org/lp/mobile/) so this is definitely something on the radar.
I don't think anyone is going to let you the links since it's piracy, but here they go since I'm not just a pirate, but the entire pirate ship
GT3:

GT4:
https://cdromance.com/ps2-iso/gran-turismo-4-eur/
I've put here the European version links, they were the ones easy to find and the one they worked for me. If you have one of the games or even both, it's better to extract the iso image instead of downloading it from the internet
(I'm fucking going to get banned lol)
Hey mate, if you're looking for some more inspiration and what features you could potentially add, I'd look at GTS Companion which is what I use currently. Good work though, your app looks really clean.
I never attached the shifter, you can't use it most of the time anyway and the flappypaddles work just as well. Happy with this and my G29 and it's like half the price I paid for it.
>The only downside for me is that the HDMI port of my PS3 is kaput, so I have to settle for 480p unfortunately.
You can get a component cable that can allow for HD output, my friend got one and the picture is really good.
If you want the G29 (don't get me wrong it contains the same old tried and true FFB tech as the 8+ year old G27) it is on sale for a good price right now on Amazon for 199.99 - https://www.amazon.com/Logitech-Driving-Force-Racing-PlayStation/dp/B00Z0UWWYC
When you look at reviews based on quality of FFB on all racing games by people who have been around in sim racing for a long time it will be T-GT > T300 > T500 > T150 >= G29. However... the way the FFB works on GTS they G29 is reported to feel pretty good. The issues with FFB on the T500 and T300 are a extra vibration feel that they removed from the T500 and you can get rid of on the T300 by running it in ps3 mode.
My personal recommendation is the T300 during the Nov sales can be found with a nice pedal set (T3PA) for $299.99. The other upgrade products if you decide to use it with other racing games are better (TH8A shifter is much better than logitecs shifter)
I just picked up a nice adjustable rig (with no seat, have my own) from Amazon for $145 shipped.

If you can't find it, that means it may not be compatible with your device. I was finally able to download it after trying all day.

> You will also see an arrow in a green box, pointing to the right. Consider this to be your driver's general mood, which greatly affects their overall ability. When it is green, and pointing sideways, it means the driver is in the middle ground (drivers start here). Sometimes, it will turn orange, and point slightly down, or turn blue, and point slightly up. When it is orange, the driver's general ability is much lower than normal, and (when possible) it is best to use another driver. When it is blue, the driver's abilities are greater than normal, this is the time to stick them in the harder races.
This sounds like what you're talking about.
Well good news, you don't need Illustrator! Just because it's the best vector graphics tool doesn't mean it's the only one, there's almost always free and open-source alternatives for pretty much any software you can think of.
Inkscape is one such alternative to Illustrator, it's free and runs on every OS. I used it for importing to Gran Turismo myself so I'm certain it works, it even has built-in functionality for tracing standard bitmap images into vector graphics, so you don't have to go hunting for plugins or any other BS.
It's actually going to be at 10 am EDT, as pointed out by Jalopnik editor /u/rwert.
Click here to see the time in your time zone.
Ok, here is a step by step guide 1. Download Gran Turismo 2 files online
https://cdromance.com/psx-iso/gran-turismo-2-usa/
You're welcome. Adobe Illustrator isn't free, but Inkscape is a free & open source alternative that's probably just as good for most people. It's like GIMP is to Photoshop. Still, it does have its own learning curve and isn't as straightforward as the "Forza method" you describe.
Still, unless it's some weird decal, there's probably one that you can use that some user out there has already uploaded.
How has it been working out for you? I've been having a hard time getting used to that wheel. Although I think having a gaming chair on wheels might be the problem. (Like this: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B095BQRG84/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_glt_fabc_QCFY7T7RY4JE5PFSQM9Q?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1)
Looks like an app. I checked the official app for GT sport but i could not find that kind of stats.
Edit: Looks like this one could be it
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.gtsport.companion I use this app, and kuddosprime https://www.kudosprime.com/gts/stats.php?profile=search and this website to track to track progress and analysis
Good point about the Fanatec Clubsport shifter, I have one on my PC sim racing rig and it is awesome. The Buttkicker does help with immersion more than you would think, since it gives you a tactile connection to what the car is doing. The Buttkicker has an analog RCA input and so I have a DAC that I bought from amazing that has an optical digital input and analog RCA outputs. I use the RCA outputs to power my Buttkicker. The DAC also has a 3.5 mm headphone out jack and so I use that for the Cloud Alphas. The DAC seems to have some amplification as well and so I am getting plenty of volume. This is the DAC I bought: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B06XDLCHY7/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
G29 Cyber Monday Sale on amazon. Ebay has plenty for cheaper prices Amazon..
However bare in mind it comes with zero hardware for installation on a desk/stand/etc, such as screws if you have the same stand I have. Make sure you plan ahead and know exactly how you will set it up. I got lucky because I didn't know this, and I was able to use the screws from my old Wheel+Pedal stand which I'm still using for the new wheel.
Allright, here's the fix
And 3 more PS5 plus copies of the game. Set up a private lobby, connect them all to that multi-viewer and you have 4 player split-screen for just over $2000, bargain.
wow...is that what you paid just for your stand??
got this one off amazon for my Thrustmaster T248
seems to be working well for me. and much cheaper.
I'd also suggest grabbing some longer thumb sticks as a longer thumb stick gives you slightly finer input.
OK first of all do not buy the place it evolution it has a bar down the centre and it flexes a lot. I got a GTR seat and it is for sure the best bang for buck my friend…. I did however customize my chair quite a bit including a bar to extend the clutch mount otherwise if you have a clutch stick it’s too far away. Anyways if you go that route I can give you more details on how I customize my chair. I got it on sale for $550 and spent several hours customizing it and it is rocksolid and very comfortable.
Regarding your wheel I can only recommend what I’ve tried and what I own…… Fanatec GT DD pro. The Gran Turismo wheel is kind of small and I’m not a fan so I would definitely suggest going with your McLaren option or getting the kit with another steering wheel somehow. The Fanatec is great. There’s no fan so it’s silent operation it doesn’t even heat up and it is very smooth and solid an exceptional first wheel.
I also have some highly recommended settings to make Gran Turismo feel great if you get to that point feel free to ask Me.
There were few more around that i ended up not needing at the time of the picture. https://www.amazon.co.uk/Dardoo-Steering-Logitech-Thrustmaster-Adjustable/dp/B09S9ZH3FZ?pd_rd_w=a3QGw&content-id=amzn1.sym.637f6545-329b-4ced-a401-9fdf5be03d03&pf_rd_p=637f6545-329b-4ced-a401-9fdf5be03d03&pf_rd_r=8R153NVT7KVJQJ95F96R&a...
However the hard mounting holes on it do not match the gt dd so you have to either drill extras or use the clamp.
The g29 is great. I found an open box deal for way less than retail. I suggest whatever you mount it to is very sturdy. And stand is ideal. I have this one and it's pretty perfect. https://www.amazon.com/GT-Logitech-Clubsport-Thrustmaster-Tilt-Adjustable/dp/B07HM6DR81?ref\_=ast\_sto\_dp
It's cheaper on Amazon Germany, where I bought it as well:
https://www.amazon.de/Logitech-G29-Driving-Force-Rennlenkrad-geeignet-f%C3%BCr/dp/B00YUIM2J0/
I'm not sure they deliver to where you live though.
I used this phone app to convert files
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.onlineconvert.ocapp
The only problem with it is that it only converts files in one color. And it has some limitations. If you want the best you'll have to buy a program to do so. I have not but I figure that a paid one would be much better. Also you know there is a limit for the file size. And you'll be surprised how easy you go over the size.
This one on Amazon is foldable and relatively compact for the size and the price is reasonable. I have zero complaints about it.
I use this one, it doesn’t look amazing, but it’s a relatively budget one: Next Level Racing F-GT Simulator Cockpit (NLR-S010) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07FY342LV/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_Q7XNQN9BGSCXGPP8JDEB
Oh man! It surely can be! I use lemudroid it is a free and open source emulator for Android really easy to use and set up.
Just tell him where your ROMs are and you're good to go. It can emulate a vast number of consoles, including psx and the psp!
You need the brake mod kit, and stiffer springs on the accelerator. AT LEAST get the brake mod, it makes it feel like a real brake instead of feeling like...nothing. It was one of the first things I looked for a solution for when I bought it because it's so bad. https://www.amazon.com/MORICHS-Upgrade-Modification-Logitech-Racing/dp/B084JSGKWY/
Hopefully that will help you guys. Maybe you could try to contact Sony, but if you do just don't let them know you opened it up.
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09828PZNY/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_i_DYBQ3B11KY4XSH3HV4XD
Possibly a cooling dock could help too.
Not gonna lie, I would buy another one. I would hunt another one down online, swap the serials and send that one back. It wouldn't affect the next person, because returns most times get junked/stolen/tested & refurbished. I haven't had to do that, and hope I wouldn't, but probably would to somewhere like Walmart or Amazon.
There is a decent brake spring upgrade kit for like $30 on Amazon Glodorm Upgrade Mod Brake Pedal Spring Kit for LOGITECH G27 G29 G920 Racing Wheel https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07WHSHSLT/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_MG49JW8ZBA5ATFFAW5ND?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1

The only issue on the stock pedals is there's no point where the clutch bites or brake resistance so its hard to get a real feel but you csn buy after market pedal holder that adds more realistic brake resistance and clutch bite https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B07SPHCLSQ/ref=cm_sw_r_awdo_QE1Y82SZEDMWEBAZQJZW
Yeah here ya go
As the other guy said you need at least a brake mod from amazon, I'd go with stiffer springs too, but at the LEAST get the brake mod, helps a TON, make it feel like an actual brake https://www.amazon.com/Linzhen-Universal-Modification-Logitech-Accessories/dp/B0874TQN51/
These help, still not great tho

That one. I had to update it the first time but it works perfectly
No, It supports HDR passthrough but I am sending it back as it cuts occasionally from tv.
I just ordered the second one with ARC- I am going to go from my TV to IN1 and ARC Out to my Receiver and Plug my PS5 into TV directly OR PS5 to IN2 if that doesn't work...we'll see.
Also It seems that you may not need extractor at all when using headphones as the Y-splitter goes directly into the BK Amp but I haven't been able to try that yet.
sure way of changing your interest in racing my friend, right here: SENNA VERSUS PROST
That depends on your audio setup, if you have an AVR receiver with a zone 2 output you just plug it there (mine does), otherwise you need and HDMI audio extractor like the one I posted the link for, but better research before buying because this one doesn’t support 4K@60 with HDR only in 1080p
I am going to use this (this is a DAC Converter which will work i think) which will take Optical audio from TV directly to butt kicker and I will use my pulse 3D headset for game audio.
This accessory kit here was a game changer for Gran Turismo. Required me to use some coarse grit sandpaper on the triggers to get rid of the sharp edge and also add texture for grip. But it extends the brake and gas so far greater range of control on the L2/R2. I’ve tried really expensive thumb grips and these cheap ones have been the best so far for me with a convex shape.
My other little secret is I use weightlifting chalk on my hands to maintain the grip….just a little. I also have a cheap rubber skin for my controller and back buttons which I was using for gearshifting but I’ve switched back to square and X to change gears.

Well, I don't know exactly what article you read so I can't argue about it, it might've been about the price performance ratio for all I know. However what I can do is offering you my experience: base PS4, not pro, not slim, just an early unit with a 500gb Crucial MX500 that loads like this https://imgur.com/a/qzQWnfL
Up to you deciding if it's good enough :)
Nice use of MDF 😃
The wife and I are going to get a rig, wheel, and pedals later this month. We're considering the invert and springs kit for the Logitech pedals. I wanted to wait a month and make sure the game was gonna hold our interest, but so far it has. The amount of content that they are talking about adding, I think, will keep us playing for a while, even if it's just a few hours after work a few days a week.
The basic wheel setup and what you get in the box costs around $250. It's the racing wheel with the 3 pedals included
This right here https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07CZT7XMX/ref=dp_cr_wdg_tit_rfb
You can buy the Gearstick later seperately for $50 i think it was
Psssst. This completely fixed the brake pedal issue for me. Just shove one of these inside the brake spring. https://www.amazon.com/Official-Rival-25-Round-Refill-Pack/dp/B00TDP7JI4/ref=sr_1_5?crid=1XSWKH81O1QMM&keywords=nerf+rival+25&qid=1647526612&sprefix=nerf+rival+25%2Caps%2C108&sr=8-5
Well hey if you want resistance, you'd like the mod I did. It feels completely linear now and more resistance. Simple as (well disassembling is the hard part) plopping one of these suckers inside the brake spring. https://www.amazon.com/Official-Rival-25-Round-Refill-Pack/dp/B00TDP7JI4/ref=sr_1_10?crid=3ES6PS1ZAXLZH&keywords=nerf+rival+round&qid=1647358598&sprefix=nerf+rival+round%2Caps%2C121&sr=8-10
If anyone else finds this that is having crashes I had at least 30 the first few days alone and it would always happen towards the end of a race which was very frustrating. But I noticed the crashes never happened in the first 30 min-hour I had my PS5 on, so I thought maybe it was an overheating issue. Bought a $20 fan off amazon and haven't had a crash since.
I know this is older but I figured its worth mentioning in case you still have this problem. I noticed my PS5 was getting really hot playing so I bought a $20 fan for it off Amazon and haven't had a crash since. https://www.amazon.com/Cooling-KIWIHOME-Upgraded-Controller-Playstation-5/dp/B09NM9DTTC/ref=sr_1_3?crid=1WQMVTLG5AMCA&keywords=ps5+fan&qid=1647285251&sprefix=ps5+fa%2Caps%2C269&sr=8-3
A normal USB stick to save them on.
An OTG / On The Go cable for your phone which you plug it in and transfer then from, e.g. https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00LN3LQKQ/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_i_XE7A6Q4G54XK84MDAQ01
It has to be an OTG cable.

yeah, I bought this one and it works quite well with my buttkicker:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B093H3GFR3/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
It doesn't support full HDMI 2.1, so if VRR and 120hz is important to you, it isn't a recommended solution.
Get the kontrol freek thumb stick extensions. It will increase the distance the stick moves and make steering less sensitive/twitchy.
Mine is in a small media cabinet space that is not closed (open on the front) but it still would get really hot and I was getting tons of crashes in FIFA 22 that I then started to theorize whether it was due to heat. I decided to try an exhaust fan option I found on Amazon and since then I never got any of those crashes in FIFA, and so far GT7 has been flawless.
It's possible my issue was never heat related as I never got the system overheating error, but maybe you could give this a shot as it's only like $20.

Thanks for the link. I have been using this controller woth Drivehub and sooved any disconnects I was having.
Bit late but I've got my DFGT working on ps4 by using the Brook Super Converter (ps3 to ps4). It doesn't seem to work on PS5 though unfortunately. I'm hoping it works on GT7 on PS4 at least.

i use a drivehub adapter with my ps5 and wheel thats also "not compatible". its amazing. just need to get the HORI game pad to plug into the adapter since you cannot use the PS5 controller for the adapter - but it works flawlessly.
Would this be a good starting wheel?

I believe it was this one. There’s a couple Amazon vendors that make the exact same one.

You can be very competitive with a controller quite easily. I customized a PS4 controller with longer thumb sticks to increase precision in turns, and spent some time learning throttle control on the triggers.
However, as someone else already pointed out OP appears to be tanking their SR/DR to remain in the easier races.

as much as I hate them too, weeb liveries are a real thing and not just on some amateur race team's car, they are on black falcons: https://www.crunchyroll.com/anime-news/2019/07/19/start-your-engines-good-smile-racing-to-run-special-promare-fate-and-hatsune-miku-liveries-for-upcoming-endurance-race
That's for prizes and kinda goes into races available. But as for cars used, most are very vague and just require a pp limit.
Edit: http://www.ign.com/wikis/gran-turismo-6 shows the tracks, races, cars, etc
Inkscape is probably another free one to use. That’s what my friend used for his vector decals. Since I have adobe illustrator, I’ve not had to use it, but he recommended it to a lot of our crew members.
You may wanna try that toothpaste trick on your CD: http://www.makeuseof.com/tag/geeks-weigh-in-can-you-fix-a-scratched-cd-with-toothpaste-nb/
It really works. Your CD may look like shit afterwards, but those are all tiny scratches which do no harm while the bigger ones are kind of "softened out".
To my knowledge, they never released GT5 and GT6 for PSnow, so big nope for PS4/PS5.
With an SSD, you'd only speed up loading times, that's the only benefit we've seen in PS4. For PS3, it does not support TRIM for SSD's at all, so no point on upgrading, but why the hell not if you have a spare SATA SSD collecting dust.
There's however a PS3 emulator for PC, but from what i've heard, requires a beefy GPU, however, there's barely any GT game's supported anyway. Then again, if you chase for a PC setup, good luck finding a GPU, tough times.
I use the gt/formula lite. Its a good rig but for the sake of all thats holy get some amazon utility straps because the rig is kinda wiggly
Yes and no. I wanted the option but wasn't too worried about it. Dirt 4 is better than GT Sport anyway. If you really need split screen I'd suggest making a few compromises and pick up a Nintendo Switch. PS4 and Xbox are too focused on online multiplayer.
https://www.slant.co/topics/3653/~split-screen-local-multiplayer-games-for-ps4
Paypal does that automatically.
I buy stuff from other countries all the time. When I do I get both an e-mail and a Facebook Message (that's for those that have their accounts linked) saying I've made a purchase from the seller for whatever the total was in their currency. Paypal uses whatever the daily exchange rate between your country and the sellers and debts that amount from your account.

I will post a little video tutorial tonight. You need component cables (good quality ones) and a component to HDMI Converter. It also helps to plug this into a 1080p60 TV or in my case I’m using a 75hz computer monitor.
Buy a third party wired controller and it works flawlessly.
I bought this one and can play for hours without issues ACC and GTS

Yes. FFB and everything. I spent $40 on mine and even used it today! :)
The next upgrade for me is pedals, or an expensive t300/fanatec set.
If you get a Drive Hub for $90, you can apparently mix and match wheels/pedals across consoles. That might be my next step since I really like the DGFT but want better pedals.
For the DFGT, I use a ps3 to ps4 wheel converter. This one Amazon Link. You just have to make sure you install the right drivers, if it doesn't work perfect right away.
Copying to the usb stick would be one way but it may be easier to get an app such as GTS Companion and downloading your photo directly from there.
The link is for android phone. I'm not sure is it on iOS as well, but look it up if needed - there should be alternative at least.

They have a million different listings on Amazon for this exact model , so if it's sold out still there's ten other listings for the same thing
It's in the GTS companion app

I can't speak to Kudosprime being updated manually or not. I know the dev of the GT Sport Unofficial Companion app posted in another thread a while back that he couldn't automatically get the car info from PD but could automatically parse the other race info. There's something about the way PD has the race info setup in that the car info isn't available unless you log into the game to get/see it.
Buttkickers/shakers work by converting low-end sounds to vibrations of the same frequencies, and on consoles (with no access of simvibe software) they depend on the games sound to have a good bit of bass to function well. You won't feel curbs unless running over them produces sound and a deep one at that. You will probably feel rumble strips, but thats all the additional road information it'll give you really. It wont simulate wheel spin or understeer or anything like that. You MIGHT feel collisions, and engine revs depending on the particular car, but I cant comment how well bass shakers work with GT Sport specifically. The sound is not its strong point though. There are other tactile transducers that respond to the full audible spectrum but putting together a set-up for a console with one requires a converter, an amp, and some DIY wiring.
There is one company that mainly focuses on wearable shakers for VR but do have one for a chair that works up to 200hz; https://www.amazon.com/SubPac-S2-Seatback-Physical-System/dp/B00YUMOOQ0.
