Yeah... next time, read before clicking. :(
Quit iTunes, delete the new blank library on the new machine, move your old iTunes library (the whole folder) to your new machine, then launch iTunes. You'll likely get the Erase and Sync warning again; this time, that's what you actually want.
A number of Apple services have been down for hours now including iCloud and the App Store. This page has a status of all their services that you could check to see if there any problems.
You can transfer your iTunes store purchased apps, books and music directly from your iPhone as detailed here https://support.apple.com/kb/PH20509
If you have music ripped from CDs or downloaded elsewhere, you will need to use third party software. TouchCopy is a good one to try, as it will copy all music, movies, TV shows, and books from your iPhone to iTunes on your new computer. There's a free trial version here... http://www.wideanglesoftware.com/touchcopy/
Take a look at iMazing. It's a back-up and utility app iPhones and iPads available on Mac and Windows. It will allow you to transfer your music files from the iPhone to your computer.
You can try iMazing. I think the free version is enough to export some text conversations.
There are lots of other similar programs out there. But the bottom line is you’ll need some sort of 3rd party program to do this, since it’s not a feature built into iOS.
Did you put the phone into Recovery Mode or DFU Mode?
The distinction is important. Following these guides try them both and let me know whether it works or not.
Ah, that sucks. This might not be helpful if you're not secure in taking apart basically the whole phone, but you can buy a replacement antenna here and use this guide to install it. Not worth it if you don't trust yourself with taking apart electronics, as it does require a full teardown of the phone.
With Tools
No soldering is needed for either of these, the one without tools may need double stick tape at the back of it to keep it in place. when pulling out the old battery there is tape holding it in place as well so it might take a little force to pull it out, don't worry you wont ruin anything. Hope that helps
Use Finder to get to the folder where your backup is located (with all those crazy files).
Follow this guide and change all the blank extensions to a .jog extension.
Change your icons in finder to as large as you can and you will see the files that are pictures have thumbnail of the actual picture.
Move all of those picture files to a new folder.
Repeat 1-4 but change all the extensions from .jpg to .mov to find all your video files.
For someone so concerned about their privacy, why are you using Google at all? Use DuckDuckGo instead.
Settings - Safari - Search Engine - DuckDuckGo
Re the contact shortcuts in the application switcher:
Settings - Mail, Contacts, Calendars - Contacts section - Show in Application Switcher: OFF
Set a passcode on your device if you don't want people to access your personal information. I personally use Touch ID and a complex passcode.
Also, where's this rage coming from? Calm down... we only get one life to live. Enjoy it as much as possible.
If you got this far by desoldering the old chip and reflowing the new chip into place the battle may be far from won. It is unlikely that the firmware would just accept a larger capacity chip and be able to fully address it, but you might get lucky! But you probably aren't that lucky and would have to modify some firmware files.
TL;DR - So while it might technically be possible to physically replace the FLASH chips with larger ones you would probably have to create custom firmware for it to use the larger flash chips...
You can set your iPhone to always use the DNS server that you’ve chosen, no matter if it’s on Wi-Fi or Cellular.
You need to install a profile for encrypted DNS, which was added in iOS 14. You can do it by installing an app from a given DNS provider, but you can also download the profile directly from their website.
Two examples of providers who support this and who I can recommend are NextDNS and AdGuard.
You are getting the error 1600 because you have 6.15.00 bb and it is trying to install the latest bb alongside the firmware. You need to create a custom ios5.1 firmware that will preserve the current bb. I've only done this with redsn0w. If you download the latest resdn0w here, you can use it to create a custom ios(in the extras section). You can then use redsn0w to put your 3gs into a "pwned DFU" state (also in the extras section) and then restore it to your custom ios with itunes by holding the shift key while pressing restore and pointing it to your custom ios.
Are you using the latest version of redsn0w from that link? Does it give you an error message of any kind?
You can also try using the older version of redsn0w available here: http://blog.iphone-dev.org/post/5239805497/tic-tac-toe
either one would last you about the same amount of time, they're essentially the same phone. same processor, same GPU, same RAM. there's a side-by-side comparison here if it helps. i share your worries about used items though.
that being said, the 6s has a nicer front-facing camera and also has a barometer. of course, 6s has a larger screen.. i had the SE for a while and moved to an 8 and the extra screen real estate is nice, while the size of the phone itself remains not huge.
i guess it really all depends on your needs.. do you think you'll fill the 32gb and be needing more space? maybe go for the 6s then. take a lot of selfies? the 6s with a 5mp front-facing camera might be better than the SE. if you like smaller phones, you're not really losing out on much if you skip the 6s and go for the SE.
if you're getting a new phone because you're sick of having problems, maybe avoiding used would offer you some peace of mind. if it were me though, and i was presented the same choice, i would probably go with the 6s this time around because of the bigger screen. i LOVE the design of the SE, but i also do a lot of reading on my phone and moving from the SE form factor to a larger screen was a definite plus.
The iPhone is jailbroken? If yes, that is why you can't reset it from the phone itself.
About the DFU problem, did you try to reinstall iTunes? If so, maybe you can restore it without DFU, using the regular recovery mode. Here is how to use it: http://osxdaily.com/2011/01/08/iphone-recovery-mode/
Just looking for a step by step guide but this should get you started: http://www.iphonebackupextractor.com/help-howto-and-support/#working-with-files-directly
This might help to: http://osxdaily.com/2010/07/08/read-iphone-sms-backup/
When you drag them from their folders into iTunes, is each book one file or multiple files (e.g. a file per chapter)?
And, what format are the files?
To have them properly listed as "Audiobooks" instead of "Music" there's two things you could try:
Convert the file(s) to M4A format (this article is old, but the steps are still the same / similar: http://osxdaily.com/2010/05/01/convert-songs-to-mp3-aac-m4a-or-other-formats-in-itunes-9-1/), then copy the files out of iTunes, rename their extensions from M4A to M4B, and copy them back into iTunes.
Use the free Audiobook Builder app (http://www.splasm.com/audiobookbuilder/) to convert your file(s) into the correct format and add them to iTunes.
Let me know if either of these worked for you!
Then your phone is bricked. End of story.
Revert back to ios 4. http://appadvice.com/appnn/2011/07/how-to-downgrade-ios-5-to-ios-4
This is now necessary because it will also downgrade your baseband. You cannot downgrade your baseband on ios 5 now that you've done it via itunes.
Once you downgrade (assuming that it is successful) you may still have trouble activating your Gevey SIM... I am not sure. Sometimes you need to have a spare sim card of the original carrier as a spare for activation. Once activated on ios 4 you should be able to use your gevey sim again.
> I also miss having my contacts synced with my google contacts and my facebook friends (their pictures).
This is very possible. Don't set up your Gmail account with the default Gmail profile, but use it as an Exchange account as detailed here.
As for Facebook pictures, download and open the Facebook app, go to Friends>[Arrow thingy]>Sync Contacts then turn "Syncing" on and "Replace photos" on. Leave "Replace photos" off if you want to keep your gmail pictures, but I prefer the oft updated Facebook pictures.
> Is there a terminal application or a file browsing interface?
Only if you jailbreak (which I assume you'll do). MobileTerminal is the main terminal option, however the one available through Cydia won't work on iOS 4. Download the .deb file from here and copy into /var/root/Media/Cydia/AutoInstall (you may have to create it). Soft reboot your phone twice and it should show up as a normal app.
Did you try syncing the phone with your computer and then restoring it from that backup? It's a shot in the dark but you never know, it might work.
OK I'll have to do some research on this one if that doesn't work.
I remember sshing into my phone via wifi before and downloading the message database before. I assume you could edit that database if you were able to download it and delete the corrupt messages and then upload the new database back onto your phone.
*Edit:
http://menoob.com/iphone/how-to-save-and-read-your-iphone-text-messages-on-your-computer/
Have a look at this article. I haven't checked to see if the software used is freeware or not but I use ifunbox to navigate the iphone (http://www.i-funbox.com/). The article explains how to get the iphone messages database off your computer. I don't think you can edit the database with the SQLreader, I think you have to download SQLlite maybe. If you google it it should be easy enough to find out. You then need to open the .db file that is the database of text meassages and delete the corrupt ones. Then copy the new modified .db back to where you found it on your iphone.
I have never tried this and I have no notion whether this will work or not, but I can tell you that I have copied my messages .db off my phone before and opened it up on my computer to read the text messages. Whether you can copy a modied version of that database back onto the phone and the iPhone will accept it as an openable database is another story altogether.
*Edit2:
I downloaded and installed the DiskAid software that the writer of the article uses and it isn't freeware. If you don't want to pay for software you will have to figure out how to do the equivalent actions as the article with ifunbox.
Have you experienced the problem in other places using a different internet connection?
My recommendation is to first check and make sure that the Wifi (router) is working correctly. If the phone displays these symptoms using other connections, then I would then try to do a factory reset.
You can find out more information about doing a factory reset here: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1414
If the phone is still exhibiting the problem after resetting, and if you're sure that the Wifi is not at fault, then you should send the phone in for a repair/replacement. All apple products come with a 1 year manufacturers warranty. read more about it here: https://www.apple.com/legal/warranty/
Best of luck!
>My question is, if I replace the parts (which both connect to the board in close proximity) and they still do not work, what should I do next?
https://www.apple.com/support/iphone/repair/
Specifically, "out of warranty service".
>What are they actually plugged into
The logic board.
>and is that board replaceable?
Technically everything is replaceable, but you should draw the line at that.
not sure if this tool called Eagle helps, as it only supports the desktop version. However, it does great at organizing all your videos/photos/audios...etc
you can tag each photo and arrange them with your own structures, basically is like your own library!
Looks pretty fake to me. This is not an apple interface. And the font on the back logo is a pretty good indicator as well. Also the "Warranty" sticker on the bottom is not normal.
Not sure the video would go through airdrop or imessage, as the video probably has a huge file size, it'd take ages or just wouldn't be accepted. I've never tried sending big files through either platforms. I don't think the file would be correctly saved to your videos app anyway. For video converters, I recommend HandBrake and MPEG Streamclip. I've used both on my Mac and they work great, so hopefully the Windows version is also great.
I'm not sure of the cost, but iFixit has guides on fixing these issues, links below if your interested.
Well...technically yes. You can buy a headphone jack assembly someplace like here or here (second one is way more expensive but more reliable.) The problem is the 3G and the 3GS are extremely hard to take apart, and you pretty much need to take apart the whole thing to put in a new headphone jack. Basically totally up to how comfortable you are with your skills in taking apart electronics.
Actually, after about 8 hours of nothing working I fixed it. This is a very strangely specific problem so I'd doubt anyone would have the same issue but I'll post what I did just in case. I just unscrewed the back panel, unhooked the battery, (http://www.ifixit.com/Guide/Repair/Installing-iPhone-4-Battery/3141/1 I used a card to gently get the battery thing off) hooked it back in, and tried to turn the phone on. Didn't work. So I plugged it in, and it worked perfectly. Like nothing had ever happened. I have no idea why this worked but it did. If anyone has this strangely specific problem and nothing else works, get a tiny screwdriver and try it. Easier than replacing a hard drive on a computer.
I haven't myself, but a friend of mine has replaced the front panel on his iPhone 3GS several times. He uses iFixit's iPhone 3GS front panel part. It can be a PITA to do, but they're excellent quality and fit perfectly.
Good that you didn’t click anything. It’s fake but if you clicked, you could have fallen for giving away info and such stuff, but luckily you know it already.
I encourage you to setup NextDNS. Not only on your iPhone but also on your computer. It will block those scammy popups alongside other internet junk like ads and trackers. It doesn’t just work for Safari, but for the entire system.
I use NextDNS on all of my devices and I cannot imagine my life without it. It’s free up to 300 000 DNS queries per month. I use it on three devices and fit easily in this limit. It currently shows 139,031 / 300,000 queries this month. Even if you exceed that limit (which I doubt), it’s very cheap. Pricing details here.
iMazing is another option, but again, do an iTunes backup as soon as possible (or with iMazing if you'll choose it) to make sure that messages are safe and nothing will happen with them.
Have you tried basic troubleshooting (restart, sign out/sign in to iCloud, toggle iCloud drive, make sure you have space on iCloud, etc.)? If yes and it didn't work you can use iMazing for this, apps backup/restore is free.
Most likely the backup got corrupted, you can't have less than 30 GB free space on the new phone I assume. I've seen some software on the web that can fix some corrupted backups, but never used it so can't recommend any.
If you still have your 7+ just sync everything with iCloud (yeah, you will need to buy extra storage but it's still the cheapest way) .
If you don't have it, install a trial version of a backup extractor like iMazing and check if you can open a backup and see your photos or contacts. If yes, get a license and transfer data from a backup to the 8+ without restoring it. There are some limitations usually (can't import videos to Photos app, must extract data to the computer first, etc.), but this is the best solution available.
iFunBox and 3uTools should be able to do this as far as I know but I've never used them. If you will decide to get a paid app I can recommend iMazing, using it for over a year now and it really made my life way easier.
Not much options except restoring a recent backup. If you have a local iTunes backup try using backup extractor like iMazing to access messages and information from that thread. It's a paid app, but you can use preview version to access the info (browsing backup is free) and mirror it manually. Or you can export messages in PDF/TXT, but you will need a paid version for that. Note that it can't un-delete messages on the device itself.
Go to https://contacts.google.com/ and see if you can see your contacts there. When you rest/restore the phone, make sure to add the Google account so you can see your contacts. I prefer to have mine on Google because I switch between iOS and Android often.
There’s no software way to disable it, but you could get a case like the one below that covers the switch in some way;
Impact Case Designed for iPhone SE 2020, Compatible with iPhone 8/7, Wrist Strap Lanyard Included, Wireless Charging, Drop Protection, Rotating Mute Switch - Coral https://www.amazon.com/dp/B074149SST/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_MAT7Q8B9A23JW5PNVVHJ

still, I would try cleaning the port again...sometimes the corners get really packed with fuzz. take a wood toothpick and work the deep corners.
get some foam swabs (do not use qtips) and rubbing alcohol and do a deep cleaning
https://www.amazon.com/Multi-Purpose-Cleanroom-Automotive-Detailing-Multi-Size/dp/B07T4HRZGJ
if it's not under warranty or applecare, the charging port can be replaced
I'd ask at a local nonapple cell phone repair store about replacing the charge port.
the part isn't expensive
https://www.amazon.com/REPAIR-Charging-Headphone-Replacement-iPhone/dp/B07FYYWMSS
it's a complicated repair...but doable. but much easier to pay a repair place
There is really no way to change carriers and not incur a early termination fee, I would recommend three things:
Suck it up, pay the ETF, sell the iPhone, get one on Verizon.
AT&T Microcell ( this means you won't get service outside)
Use wifi. Get google voice, you can text using wifi, and if you get the app talkatone, you can make calls through wifi as well.
If you are going to live in Montana for a while, I would recommend the first choice, otherwise, if you don't want to go through the hassle of a ETF, do options 2 or 3.
Hope this helps:

if the links above doesn’t help, downgrade your iphone to iOS 13.1.2 or just to make sure, get a battery replacement.
Just read this and for love of cows, learn how to use Google search... About package, check unboxing videos for the model and make sure it looks the same. Nothing more you can do without opening it.

Well, no. Unless you want something like that:

The iPhone has not the best lenses, that's why these big lens flares occur.
I should say, I did start with googling this. I couldn't find a straight answer. This article was helpful, but still a little over my head and didn't offer a great solution :/ https://www.quora.com/How-can-I-delete-photos-from-my-iPhone-but-keep-them-in-iCloud

Hi - it might actually be easier for you to just keep your Verizon physical and get an eSIM for the roaming data.
I've had good success with GigSky - they have hubs in the US and Europe so they get good speeds on both sides of the Atlantic. They don't offer phone numbers but you if your Telco has WIFI calling and you tell them to disable roaming entirely iOS let's you use your primary SIM's phone number over GigSky data just like Wifi calling.
Get 15% off all GigSky plans with the following promo code:

Check out the GigSky app at:

VPNs like ExpressVPN will change location for some apps like Safari but won't change for others that use your cellular GPS like Google Maps / Instagram / Tinder / etc. I was only able to fully spoof location on all apps by jailbreaking and using LocationFakerX which you can find in Cydia.
Then you need to delete the account
Settings>Mail>Accounts.
And if you want to use the account; you need to accept the permission to install the profile onto the iPhone. This is often required for company accounts.
Or if the company is using Google Apps services (think its called workspaces now) https://workspace.google.com .. then you can try to create an "App password" https://support.google.com/accounts/answer/185833?hl=en instead of adding the account through the typical SSO login/service. Though depending on how locked down the admin of the workspace is, you might still need the profile.. And I can suspect why since the email you didn't fully hide from the screenshot ends in .gov (government URL)
You can get a “Amazon renewed” one for $233.00 with a 90 day return window, so I would have to say no that’s not a good deal at all. Apple iPhone X, US Version, 64GB, Space Gray - Fully Unlocked (Renewed) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B077578W38/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_QCPRSXV1HG4BVPXMEVNY
I use NordVPN & I see that in this section of the settings but it only says it’s connected. It doesn’t look like there’s any settings attached to it or anything else in this section. Also I’ve been using NordVPN on my phone for a long time & didn’t have this screen issue before so I’m not sure NordVPN would be causing it.
I’ve never looked into this setting before though so it’s good to check everything just in case!

First off, you shouldn't be storing your own YT videos on the device. You should have some external drive, like a MyFi, personal cloud or something like that. Basically it's an external hard drive with a WiFi hooked up. IDK this brand, but there's plenty out there:
You need to do a full backup and restore. I did an upgrade on mine because I kept running out of space. iOS is a lazy hog, I freed up quite a bit when I upgraded the OS. Had to wipe out the old and install the new to get that space.
Another option is to pay for cloud storage. You can get quite a bit for free, but it's not that expensive to buy a ton of space.
you have to remove material to remove scratches. there are no fillers that wouldn't look horrible.
do you have applecare? a screen replacement is $29. might be worth a refresh then put on a glass screen protector for $15.
these are great:

Here’s one link I found. You edit the song in GB and save it as a ringtone. I’ve done it and I’m an old guy with only fair tech skills.

100% -> 1% in 15 minutes cannot be caused by software issues; the battery requires replacement. Ask Apple about battery replacement service. (If it makes you feel any better, the behaviour you describe is highly unusual for a battery that's only 18 months old, regardless of charge cycle count.)
You can also bring it into any Apple Store and have it done while you wait. (Make an appointment first to save time.)
Back up your device to iTunes or iCloud before bringing it in, or before sending it in for service.
If iCloud is enabled, no.
The reason being that if the owner is trying to do it, he should have access to the iCloud password or to the email used to sign in.
I would probably just try and contact Apple. If you have a store near you, you can see if you can make an appointment online or go in person.
If the device is from the company, after you deal with this, if you have multiple devices, you should look into centrally managing them. One of the things you can do is fully remote wipe the device,

That's because the iPhone does not support Predictive Text on all languages. Unfortunatly for you, Norwegian is not one of those supported Languages.
GBoard is the Android Keyboard available on iOS.. I wouldn't use it, since Google is a evil spying piece of shit company.. but its there if you so wish to.

Not necessarily. The MP4 file is just a container for an encoded stream of video and audio. Depending on which codec the device uses to encode it’s A/V stream, it may or may not be compatible.
That may be some gibberish to you, but it’s probably what’s going on.
You can take the file, and use an application like Handbrake to encode it to a compatible format. Handbrake has presets for many different device types.
Their website also has a basic how-to if you’re not familiar with the software. Here’s the Quick Start guide.
According to stackoverflow iTalk Recorder Premium supports aiff which should record lossless. I'm sure there are other apps that do the same, that was just the recommendation from the thread.
You need to run both apps. The "normal" one and the business one.
WhatsApp is registered with a phone number but it uses your data or Wi-Fi connection to communicate. Just install both apps and register with one number for the first app and the second number for the second app.
I am using this one https://smile.amazon.de/gp/product/B099KD22T1 but in your case battery drain is too quick and sadly Apple doesn't replace it unless it goes below 80.

I had an iPhone 6S, and I now own an iPhone 11, and both devices ran iOS 15 pretty well. As with most iOS versions, there are a few bugs with the first release, but Apple will release subsequent updates to fix them. Just make sure you update your phone regularly.
As for the changes, iOS 15 will be a significant improvement over iOS 11 in both design and features, but nothing too challenging to get used to.
If you want more information on the design and features of iOS 15, check here: https://www.apple.com/ios/ios-15/
I don’t believe Predictive typing is available in Czech. See this link: https://www.apple.com/ios/feature-availability/#quicktype-keyboard-predictive-typing
Are you sure the people you’ve seen do it are doing it in Czech or using the Apple keyboard instead of a 3rd party keyboard?
I know NOTHING of the innards of an iPhone except what I read online and what I saw when mine was repaired. I wish I had the guts to try something like your project.
That said, I can only recommend you check out the iFixit guys. Another place I've seen that gives really nice info is Allyson Kazmucha's repair guides at iMore.
If the app doesn't encrypt the files, it may be possible for you to make a backup of the phone using iTunes (or finder in macOS Big Sur) and dig through that to find them. iMazing is supposedly pretty good for this, but I haven't tried it personally so I can't personally advocate for it. There are many other similar programs out there.
It's unlikely you'll be able to access the app without the developer updating it.
iTunes can't extract photos, use Photos app or export from File Explorer > device > DCIM folder. Regarding audio, voice memos should be synced with music (there's a checkbox for memos sync on device settings screen).
If you want some easier solution check iMazing, trial should be enough to understand if it works for you.
Nope, you'll need a computer in any case or GarageBand on the phone. Check iMazing, you'll need to load the files to a computer and connect the device via USB, but the rest is just drag&drop and it works in free version: https://imazing.com/guides/how-to-import-or-export-iphone-ringtones-mac-or-pc
Normally it should save just the attachments to the cloud. Are you sure that you have iCloud sync for messages enabled on the Mac?
p.s. If you want to save them in a file check iMazing, should do what you need.
Have you enabled the "Sync voice memos" option in iTunes (connect the device > open it in iTunes > find the checkbox for memos)? It should sync when you sync the device.
If won't work check iMazing. Exports to a folder, but it's just drag&drop.
You can't delete photos and videos synced from the computer to iPhone by design (no idea why). Sync with an empty folder in iTunes and better get some third-party app like iMazing with UI for photos management. It also has incremental backups so should be easier to not overwrite a backup after something messed up.
Do you have an iTunes backup with that version? If yes, you can try to extract it and restore to the phone with iMazing. .ipa's are not in the backup since iOS 8, but from last year it will restore app versions saved in the backup if possible instead of loading last version. Same when restoring iTunes backup, but iMazing allows to restore just specific apps and it works in free version.
Delete and app that has a pending update in AppStore, then reinstall. If won't help: encrypted backup > factory reset > restore the backup. Or just use iMazing for app management if you don't want to wipe it, works in free version.
Promising, but the question on the Amazon listing for what seems to be the same adapter (Veetone brand) says no mic: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08SC9MK85/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_7CC2H7TTFN8Q6AYMG97H
But it’s hard to tell with so many random sellers with listings for identical-looking dongles haha
UPDATE: in case anyone is interested.. Problem was fixed!
The problem was that since the BB was 06.15.00 and he restored in itunes without setting up a custom ispw, it messed up a bit. So once I figured that out, thanks to this site (the answer was at the bottom of their post)
I used redsnow to re-install the ipad BB
Then snowbreeze to make a custom ispw (redsnow wouldnt let me use the one i made with it, Idk why) I restored the Iphone with the new custom ispw
Used resnow to jailbreak and install cydia
downloaded ultrasnow from cydia
and now It's working fine. for now
Like I said before, you can totally jailbreak right now, it's just tethered, which is a bit inconvenient but not a big deal for most people. (You just have to avoid rebooting your phone when you don't have your computer nearby.) You can use the latest version of redsn0w beta to jailbreak 4.3.5: http://blog.iphone-dev.org/redsn0w-iOS5
There's not much use for the jailbreak teams to work really hard on a 4.3.5 untether when the general release of iOS 5 is around the corner. Better for them to wait for iOS 5 and then try to produce a good untethered jailbreak for it.

I suspect the battery was replaced by a non authorised repair shop.
Use something like Coconut Battery to check the battery’s actual condition.
Real-time data usage statistics is a sought-after feature by many. And a lot of MDMs out there offer the feature for Android. But with the MDM protocols set in place by Apple, I am not sure about the feasibility of the same for iOS.
That being said, I think the feature would be made available in the future and I would suggest looking at the expense management feature offered by different MDMs and see if any of the features they currently offer are of interest to you.
For example, Hexnode UEM’s expense management feature allows you to restrict mobile data usage for individual applications in the case of iOS. I know it doesn’t help recognize the apps with maximum data usage, but you could restrict app data if needed.
Have you tried i-funbox?(Free) http://www.i-funbox.com/ you might be able to access them.
When you find the files they could just be renamed instead of encrypted. Much luck.
As someone with a very fast fibre optic connection myself, I'll pass on the knowledge that most consumer-grade routers can't handle that sort of speed. I recommend something with cojones like this, or this if you have a Mac and want automatic wireless backup (or any computer and want an integrated NAS). (You won't be able to achieve 500 Mbit/s with anything short of 802.11ac).
Cloudinary is a company that specializes in media and digital assent management. https://cloudinary.com/documentation/ios_integration
It may be that some app you have is using the Cloudinary API https://cloudinary.com/documentation/ios_integration
The question would be which app is using the Cloudinary API? And that I don’t have an answer to, unfortunately.
The buttons you are pressing cause a forced restart/hard reset not a factory reset, which usually erases data on the phone. As others have suggested, you will need to connect the iPhone to a Mac or Windows PC that has iTunes installed (from the Microsoft Store or here) to determine your next steps. If you do not have access to a personal computer that you trust (I would not use the computer in a hotel’s business center) you may have to plan on going to an Apple Store or Authorized Service Provider, though one of the latter may charge you a fee.
For the lazy. Unfortunately, I believe the front panel is bonded to the LCD, so you have to replace both as a whole, for $150 DIY.
