I found some on Amazon, just look up AKG samsung earbuds and they should show up, was only 15-20 for a pack of 2
edit: here's some
It's a ToF (Time of Flight) sensor that gathers depth data for selective focus mode and AR
You can play with it using this app, pretty cool for real night vision

Well, everyone has to have RCS turned on, and make sure they also have the carrier services app installed on their phone for better reliability. I use the Google Messages app for texts. I've found it works better for things like RCS, or at least it did on my S7. I still use it on my S20.
Carrier Services: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.google.android.ims Google Messages: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.google.android.apps.messaging
Try downloading the Clock app by Google on the Google Play Store. Link Here. Go through the settings on the app and make sure sound is set. Set a timer. If it goes off then try to set an alarm in the app. If it works then try to set a regular alarm in your system clock app. Hope this helps.
Just replace the cable. I got this one off of Amazon and it has superfast charging.
CBUS 5A 100W USB-C Cable, 6.6ft USB Power Delivery (PD) Fast Charge USB 3.1 Gen2, 10Gbps Data — Compatible with PD Docking Stations, Hard Drives, MacBook Pro, Air, iPad Pro, PixelBook, 4K/5K Displays https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07MW1ZWP6/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_fabc_1H7H7R2ACPJFW3D3QS4J?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
So far I've been using this case with this screen protector and I haven't noticed any lifting. Theres a slight gap between the screen protector and the edge of the case, so there's no lifting, but little particles of stuff get stuck in there, so I just clean the edge with a q-tip when it gets gunky
No. There was a phone that was simply called Samsung Galaxy, the GT-I7500.
https://www.gsmarena.com/samsung_i7500_galaxy-2791.php
There was no Touchwiz even then. I remember seeing many of these a long time ago, and I should have kept one just for collection.
I like this one a lot.

All of my other power backs are Anker. They are all good.
Amazon has "excellent condition" S22 refurbs for ~$400. I was a little worried, but I swear the phone is new and has been awesome. I had signal issues with my P6a so I switched to the S22 and I couldn't be happier.
Damn bro we got basically the same setup. I have the s21+, the watch4, the buds2, and the tab a7.
I like to have my buds2 set to dynamic in the wearable app, and use an app called wavelet and use the graphic equalizer in the app to set my sound settings.
The google keep app is great to have on your watch and phone.
This is my personal favorite watch face.
I like to use google fit instead of the default samsung watch workouts.
Feel free to ask any questions
I tried Smart Switch, had to install on both phones. First, it failed with a wired USB. Then, it seemed to work over wifi, reporting success. But it hadn't worked, not only no new icons on the new phone but a couple of app file tools didn't see anything. So then I went with the new phone to my profile on the Play store and selected to Update all my apps. Update a misnomer. But it did install almost all the apps. Not their data, though. Oh well. So then there weren't any new icons to invoke the apps! But I knew of Easy Drawer, which pulled in every app icon I wanted, in a nice organized panel. Except of course the Easy Drawer panel apps I wanted right on my Home, which I had to install one by one to get icons. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.appthrob.android.launchboard
I know little about this phone, other than having just ordered a U.S. version. But the listing for this case on Amazon states that there are 3 versions: SE Asia: 164.2 x 75.9 x 9.1 mm US: 165.8 x 75.9 x 9.1 mm (and has larger cameras) EU: 166.5 x 75.9 x 9.2 mm https://www.amazon.com/Protector-MAIKEZI-Shock-Absorption-Flexible-Protective/dp/B09KTMP3F5/
It does not sound like you are charging at 15w. Many wireless chargers can charge certain phones at 15w but not all phones.
FWIW, I have this one from Samsung which was expensive but charges my S21 Ultra at 15w https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07VG9JMG1/ref=ppx\_yo\_dt\_b\_search\_asin\_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Use a wireless charger and no need to use the USB-C port. the one I linked works great, though there are cheaper ones.
Also would suggest trying a 3rd cable.
If the USB-C port is damaged on your phone, be very careful. As an alternative to the bulky wireless charger, you might want to use a 'mini' wireless charger when your not at home, the one I linked I have never tried so cannot confirm how good it is.
Instead of using a paper-clip to clean the port, which may damage it, try using canned-air to blow any debris out.
I've been using this one for about two months and I really like it. It's not super fast but I only charge at night anyway.

This isn't a built in option on the S9, you want bxActions. The free version will do what you want, the paid option will let you map any button.
No problem! Here's the link from my Amazon app:
[2 Pack] ArmorSuit MilitaryShield... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09RZMCLWP
For some reason, it's showing up as $10.95 even though the same seller has a Prime listing for $8.95.
You might have to click on other sellers and choose the one that's new for $8.95, depending on what shows up for.
If you want your install to be perfect, you can do the shower trick, which is to get yourself set up in your bathroom and get your phone and the screen protector ready.
Turn on your shower for a few mins and let the hot water run until it gets a bit steamy. The steam pulls all of the dust out of the air so you can take your time wiping the phone off properly and getting everything lined up.
I don't have the patience to do it any other way these days lol this method always works for me with any screen protector and it only takes a few minutes.
With this one, make sure to get all the bubbles out and wipe everything off afterwards. I also made sure to squeegee really well around the curved edges so that everything would stick down. You can wrap the little squeegee they give you in a microfiber cloth so you can push down a little harder without worrying about leaving any marks on the screen protector.
The instructions say to let it dry for several hours, so I did mine right before bed and it looked great in the morning. Assuming all goes well, you'll be impressed with your fingerprint reader afterwards lol
You'll introduce noise, but try that in addition to this.
https://www.amazon.com/Hosa-YMM-261-Stereo-Breakout-Cable/dp/B000068O5H
Hope your microphones have native mono 3.5mm output. Otherwise we have cables on cables on cables
You can also look into USB-C magnetic quick-release cables in the future to save wear-and-tear on your port. Just leave the magnetic adapter in your phone... if it wears out, you then pop it out and replace it.
This is the style I use on a whole bunch of my devices. Added perk is now both the micro-USB and USB-C devices all can use the same charging cables:
I have this one: Nillkin Camshield Armor case for Samsung S22 Ultra with Kickstand Ring Holder https://www.amazon.ca/Samsung-Galaxy-Nillkin-Camshield-Kickstand/dp/B09PY16CWS/ref=asc_df_B09PY16CWS/
The ring holder makes it a little bulky but it's nice having a stand and I like having a sliding door to cover the camera when it is not in use since it has so many lenses.
Would something like this work ?
its is unactivated

OK. Wasn't sure. That I don't know. I still have mine from my Note and use it when needed. It I have my original Samsung earbuds I use.

Well Google will save and collect/whatever. Then there is possibility that you don't have internet access. On phone is just that. Only on phone. Most people use Google because if phone breaks or is erased contact is gone. You can also see google contacts on contacts.google.com .(U goitta login to said acct) Saving to SIM card is not very good or fast. You can save to phone and export them as vcards, Those files can be emailed or transferred elsewhere.
It will charge just fine on regular low power chargers, but if you want a high-power charger this 65W charger for $30 is working great with my S22 Ultra.
I went with a higher capacity charger so I can charge both the phone and my tablet with one charger (saves outlet space) and because I want to use a port expander with the phone that takes 15W and passes through the balance to charge the phone.
If / when those wear out (I tried it first) I got these: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09NL5BTR8?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2_dt_b_product_details which are a bit thinner and have better oleophobic coating. Swiping in from the edge feels a bit better.

Still looking forward to a PET version instead of TPU, works better with the s-pen. Just saw some are out now for the regular 22 / 22+ so maybe another month or so for the ultra.
I'm a fan of minimalist thin cases and liked the Torras case for my S22 Plus. The link below is the same case for the S22. Works very well, and works with my wireless chargers just fine.
I got this case for my Buds2 and absolutely LOVE IT! It's a little thicker than a slicone cover but it feels good. It's got a texture to the case so it doesn't slip. I also like the strap it comes with. The buds case fits perfectly inside and it has double side adhesive tape that you can even use. I'm not worries at all about it coming apart!

I use this one. Spigen has been my go to case for years. This one has been great so far.
It doesn't offer the best of protection because it's quite slim but if that's what you're going for I've been using this one in anticipation of maybe some others with the individual lens cutouts: Stongmu Case for Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra 5G, Faux Leather Slim Phone Case with Camera Lens Protector & Ring Holder Stand, Thin Hard Back & Soft TPU Bumper, Shockproof Protective Cover, 6.8" Black https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09P55D624/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_i_X7PQFM7QY8P7PRVF055H?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
It's a pretty classy looking case and fairly grippy after a few days. Cutouts in all the right places etc.
I gave a more detailed description in another response but I've tested and felt both and the S22U just feels and looks like hell to me. The body is absolutely horrible and too big (my S9+ with a chonky case is the same size as it without a case). Also, S pen isn't my thing.
Imo, samsung is just copying Apple's design inspiration and apparently their business ideas now. The other S22s other than the ultra are kinda cool but I want the Space Zoom, among other things.
Just take a look at the S21U in Phantom Silver vs the S22U Phantom White
P.S.
S21 Ultra 512gb in black -- amazon here's a 512 I'm looking at. It's either 12gb or 16gb ram, cant recall, but for another $99 you get what you're after and an extra 256gb, whether you want it or not.
I got this one. Very happy with the purchase

Probably any TPU screen protector will work. I use this one and it works great. Also has a fantastic application system that eliminates any chance of dust or bubbles.
I know this is a nooby question, but do you think something like this would work?
On the off chance anyone else was having the same issue, I found a solution: get an official Samsung adapter and the issues of phone app popping up and sound cutting out randomly goes away. This is the one I got:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08YJX31FR/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
This is the one I use. Sadly it's out of stock atm
Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro, Bluetooth Earbuds, True Wireless, Noise Cancelling, Charging Case, Quality Sound, Water Resistant, White (US Version) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B099X4HMV4/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_i_4NZA797JWZC72EC9BVEX?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
And the variants. I am tempted to upgrade to these from a set of knock offs because the knock offs either are not charging well or are not holding more than a days charge. The knock offs also suck for webex/zoom meetings.
FWIW, If you end up deciding to buy a new charger, I have the S21 Ultra with this 25 watt Samsung charger
It's only $20 and it charges super fast
I can't say I've used any, but here's one I found searching for "unlock photo capture" with reasonable reviews that can capture on successful unlocks, fu seems to be an important feature in your particular situation (many of these apps only capture on failed unlock): https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.fromitt.securitycam

Samsung just does not support that kind of "display wake" function like iPhone r Pixel Phones. But i can recommend u "Glimpse Notifications" its free and does what u need and want.

Im not sure about that, but what i know is that, you can do the think if you use google contacts, you first have to link your phone contacts with your google account then go to https://contacts.google.com/ and you can edit, and merge all of your contacts easily using the computer, any contact you add via your phone will then be synced to google(you can have exclusions). This way if you ever change phones, all the contacts will be synced with your google account.

There aren't good glass ones for the S20 because the screen is curved and the ultrasonic fingerprint sensor won't work. Your choices are film or film with a camera hole.
The multipack is really for multiple attempts
What country are you in? There are plenty curved thick film protectors on Amazon, like https://smile.amazon.co.uk/apiker-Protector-Upgraded-Fingerprint-Coverage/dp/B08C9NN59G
You might need a good amount of patience and a very dust free house to apply them
The S21 does not come with a charger. I bought the correct Samsung charger for it on Amazon here https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07VKXSD91/ref=ppx\_yo\_dt\_b\_search\_asin\_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I installed this one, went on flawless, uses biometric no issues. Crystal clear, no bubbles. Check some YT reviews about it, everyone seems to be in agreement. Non affiliated link: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08RYXF8F6/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_glc_fabc_ABXPNHTDTDJD3B60NNBQ
There’s a weird brand called Mosonovo and they sell clear hybrid cases with prints, really thick and good quality. I got my friend one with an s10e, but I don’t see this on American Amazon which I assume is the Amazon you’d be using.
Otherwise I normally go for Ringke Fusion or a Spigen case, spigen normally do both hybrid cases and plain TPU

Works perfectly
The S21 is a solid choice too, However I would go with the: <strong>Samsung Galaxy S20 FE 5G</strong>
Instead, It is a Factory Unlocked Android Cell Phone | 128 GB | US Version Smartphone | Pro-Grade Camera, 30X Space Zoom, Night Mode | Cloud Navy.
All for just: $699.99
You save more plus there's no great difference between this and the S21. Just small changes and very overpriced.
If you are still interested in the S21, <strong>THE ONE FROM THIS SELLER WOULD BE MY PICK.</strong>
I don't think that there are any 8" models after 2019. All newer models (Tab A7, S7, S7+) are 10" and larger, and all of those are 2k or higher resolution. As for wireless charging, if you plan on using a thin protective case, you can easily add wireless charging with a USB-C Qi receiver (here's a link to a fast one, capable of 2000 mAh.. https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B087TW7MGK).
Not sure what phone you have but I highly recommend the Tauri two-pack. It includes 2 Flexible Soft TPU Screen Protectors & 2 Tempered Glass Camera lens protectors, and everything you need to install them like a pro.
The link below is for the S21 Ultra, but watch the 3 minute video demonstrating the application of the screen protector with it's "holder" that plugs into the charge port.
The sound assistant app by samsung lets you individually control what apps put sounds through what output, individual app volumes, volume step size, set the volume buttons to only ever control media volume and not the ringtone etc

I just bought a S20 5G, and I’d look at what’s available from anker on Amazon first, as they make cabled chargers that are compatible with every fast charging standard and Apple even sells some of their stuff direct. Their wireless pads seem to be compatible with a couple different fast charging standards from the wall plug as well.
Looks like they go up to 15W https://smile.amazon.com/Anker-Wireless-Charger-Fast-Charging-Adapter/dp/B07YD77RKC

You know how you can text message from a Mac through the messages app? Pulse allows you to text from your Mac. The UI is beautiful. After a few months of using a $1 membership fee or something, I paid for a minimal lifetime membership. Your Android can be anywhere and as long as it is turned on, you can text from your Mac.

Download this app. It helps a lot with that. I think it's just a bunch of cache files what else could it be.
What about the: <strong>Samsung Galaxy A21</strong>
It is way more affordable than the S20fe and is perfect for this line " She definitely does not need nor want an S21 or super high end device. She basically uses a phone for podcasts, Spotify, social media, and super simple games (crossword puzzle, candy crush, etc.) " from your post above.
To make it easier on your pocket, and seeing that she is a casual user, how about this: <strong>Samsung Galaxy A21</strong>

If you check the description it tells you what it does. The funny thing is you can't uninstall it from the playstore.
However if you want, you can go-to the Galaxy Store and disable updates. Not sure what the repercussions are, but it's allowed.
Playstore https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.samsung.android.mobileservice
Galaxy Store https://apps.samsung.com/appquery/appDetail.as?appId=com.samsung.android.mobileservice
You may have to resolve to using a third-party solution by the name of sideActions until all software is updated. Just a thought.
It won't be 100% water resistant but you can use a hairdryer and some tweezers to remove and replace the glass with something like this one from Amazon. I did this recently to my Galaxy S8
Not with default edge lighting, but you can disable it and use third-party edge lighting app from the play store instead.

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=code.name.monkey.retromusic I don't rly listen to music stored on my phone cuz I usually use spotify but I have heard that retro music player should be good
Not in regards to Bluetooth, but I use an app called Sound Profile that switches sound profiles based on location. Bixby may have something, too, along those lines.
Try Simple Notepad . Basically the easiest notes app I've found for android. It can export and import plain text format (.txt) and is about as straightforward to use as the windows notepad app.
I've been using IPVanish VPN for the past 3 years and I began receiving the "Nightwatch.txt" message about a month or so ago. Could this be related to a backdoor effort to do contact tracing for this Covid-19 pandemic? Also, has anyone connected their phone to a computer and searched their phone for the *.txt executable file? Just curious if anyone has tried that. I will perform that search today and post am update if I find anything.
I feel you, ... Samsung does not have a Display Wake up Function like, iPhone r others. The AOD is a replacement for that. There is no way other than this App "Glimpse Notifications" to a solution ...
