If your on Android there's an app called AMDroid that lets you set custom alarms in groups and give you the ability to bulk enable and disable alarms. It took me forever to find an alarm with that feature, but it's a game changer.
Gentle Alarm has not been updated in several years and the developer is no longer responding to support requests by email or his web forum (He was seriously injured in a motorcycle accident and out of contact for many months, came back for a few weeks and has been gone since). I began having a few issues with the app in Oreo and found AMdroid is a good replacement with an active developer https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.amdroidalarmclock.amdroid
check this one up
it has every option you may want like :
-location/days/month/calendar/ based profiles
-those problem that heavy sleeper need to solve
-pre alarm (that increasing pre alarm) for the light/heavy sleep cycle
and many others option ,but if u dont care about option and just want something simple ,u should probably stick to the Built in one
This seems like it is going to come up a lot now.
Amdroid has been a good replacement to Gentle Alarm for me. All the same features and then some with an active developer.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.amdroidalarmclock.amdroid
Try AMdroid. For me it was number one for years until I found sleep tracking very convenient for smooth wake up. BTW, you can turn off sleep tracking in SaA or set it to turn on 45 min before alarm to find best moment for waking up.
AM Droid https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.amdroidalarmclock.amdroid
Also allows you to adjust the time of the next occurrence +/- 10 minutes at a time from the notification shade. Many other great features.
I'm obsessed with tweaking my morning alarms and pre-alarms to have the optimal wake-up experience. AMdroid has lots of pre-alarm options, as well as the ability to have a post-alarm if the user fails to dismiss an "are you awake" notification within a specific amount of time.
The app dev is active and responded to a feature request of mine very quickly and professionally.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.amdroidalarmclock.amdroid
I love AMdroid.
I have my profile set to make my type a level 2 capacha. I have to type like.... 6 random letters to turn the alarm off. it goes up to a level 6.
it's got lots of great features, but the one that brought me to it was the ability to point it at a folder with a bunch of mp3s formatted like music/band/album/song it'll scrape that whole /music folder and subfolders and randomly wake me up with songs from there.
it's the bees knees.
but that other guy is probably right too. get to sleep earlier. I've got some cheap tozo earbuds that I fall asleep with listening to audiobooks. the audiobook turns off after 10 minutes and the rest of the night they just block out sound. it's like an eye mask for your ears. or earplugs. but also if the buds are still in the alarm clock goes to them FIRST. after some seconds it starts coming out of the phone too.
I really like my setup.
AmDroid (Alarm Clock for Heavy Sleepers) has a skip-next function, along with many other ways to manage alarms. Well worth checking out.
Not a Tasker solution, but AMdroid is an alarm app with built in calendar integration that will do exactly what you are looking for. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.amdroidalarmclock.amdroid
AMdroid has exactly that. You can add a time interval after dismissing where it shows a notification and you have a set amount of time to react to it, otherwise the alarm sounds again.
I use AMdroid which has the option to set a math problem, and yes you can specify how hard the problem should be and how many it throws at you. You can also set it so that you have to scan an NFC object with your phone to get it to stop bothering you, which is great for me because it means I have to actually get out of bed and go downstairs to scan my amiibo.
I have no idea how to live with adhd and I hope my suggestion isn't one of those "just do this, yay, you're healed" kinda things, BUT..
I have this android alarm app on my phone that requires me to do something in order to stop the alarm. I bought adhesive NFC tags from Amazon and stuck one to the top shelf of my room so in order to close my "important!" alarms (you can set up multiple profiles) I have to stand up and stretch my phone to the tag.
It also features an inbuilt after-alarm to check if you really got up.
I guess you could buy one of those daily pill boxes and stick an nfc tag under it, or place the tag in the bathroom somewhere.
The app is AMdroid: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.amdroidalarmclock.amdroid
You also maybe want to check out so called habit trackers, like "loop", in which you can note when you did xy, so you get an overview of when you took your meds and noted it vs when u didn't note anything.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.isoron.uhabits
Maybe it helps you.
It's an actual alarm app, but AM Droid can sync with your calendar and be configured to alarm for specific or recurring event. I use it because I have a weird work schedule and it works flawlessly, and I'm sure it can be adapted to your purpose.
AM Droid Will allow this in the app or with a great widget that you can shift alarm time forward or back and can skip a day.
In use one called am droid. You can configure it to watch your Google calendars and fire off an alarm that you can snooze instead of just dismissing it and forgetting you did that a second later. I use it all day long. You can set it up so any event with a certain hashtag gets an alarm or for every event etc.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.amdroidalarmclock.amdroid
Your post got me thinking. There are multiple routes you can take this.
Get an app that requires you to scan QR code or something like that, in order to stop the alarm. For example https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.amdroidalarmclock.amdroid can do this
I assume that you have already experimented with alarm sounds that are as loud as possible. In this case you could connect your phone to a bluetooth speaker as one option to make it louder.
Use a dedicated alarm clock, a analog clock for example that is placed in another room or away from your bed.
If you find a solution, I'd be happy to hear what you ended up with :) Good luck!
Yep! That’s it.
I was a recommended another app that is being actively developed after I made that comment, called AMDroid. It has all the features that Gentle Alarm has and then some, including playing random songs from a selected folder, shuffle capabilities, ramping up the volume over a set period of time, and a bunch more features. I’ve used it for 2 days now and ended up uninstalling Gentle Alarm because this one has everything that it has and is currently being maintained.
Check it out:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.amdroidalarmclock.amdroid
Unfortunately Gentlealarm is no longer being maintained, so who knows how long it will continue to work with future Android updates (the developer was in a motorcycle accident several years ago, came back to his forum for a couple of months and then seems to have disappeared, although the web site is still up, the forum is locked). I found AMDroid provides virtually all the same features and is actively maintained. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.amdroidalarmclock.amdroid
Here is the link to the amdroid app on the play store. You create an alarm profile, and in he profile settings are calendar integration settings. You define a tag, whether it is case sensitive or not, and whether to search the title or the body, and how much before the event you want the alarm. It will automatically create an alarm for every event in the calendar with that tag. (edit: I see now, you probably through amdroid was a mis-spelling of android. I was referencing an alarm application, not something built into Android).
Amdroid - An alarm app, has this capability. You can define a tag in your calendar, and set the number of hours before the event you need to wake up, and it will automatically create alarms.
[edited for clarity]
Not sure if you know that already, but FrogWeather is kinda redundant now that google weather allows a direct shortcut to the homescreen. That is only if you have the google app installed though, i guess.
Also, the best alarm app is Alarm.Clock for Heavy Sleepers (former AMdroid).
I've been using the alarm app called AMDroid, works pretty good and has many options. I use the math or captcha as my snooze, that way I don't snooze for too long. It's a free app but has premium features for a small price.
Here's a link for more information. It's been a lifesaver in terms of getting me up.
AMDroid lets you set up "challenges" to dismiss an alarm - solve a math problem or Captcha puzzle, etc. I have the impression I've seen that feature in other alarm-clock apps as well, but I don't recall which one(s).
AMdroid just woke my phone up.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.amdroidalarmclock.amdroid
So there's that at least. It doesn't have "add quick alarm" function that I used frequently on GentleAlarm though, which is incredibly annoying.
AMdroid has a "loop sound" toggle in profiles that can be turned off. Might try out the free version and see if it suits your needs. It didn't populate my alarm sounds right away so you may have to pick music to find it the first time. I liked it so bought the full. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.amdroidalarmclock.amdroid
I use AMDroid, and it's awesome. My work schedule changes weekly because I work 4 days and then have 2 days off, and AMDroid pulls the days I work from my calendar and schedules alarms based on that.
I’m about to give AMDroid a shot. It’s free, does ALLTHETHINGS™, plus I have an ad blocker anyway ;)
Curious if it will get me up consistently.
Edit:
Well, it does wake me. That’s a plus. I’m usual 3x captcha on highest difficulty to disable. Whether I actually stay awake or go back to sleep is an entirely different question, but at least now it’s a conscious decision rather than “damn, I ignored my alarm again”.
perhaps what you're looking for is:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.amdroidalarmclock.amdroid
or any alarm app of your choice, really
and:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.rascarlo.quick.settings.tiles
Tiles has a tile to enable the Immersive mode with one tap (you can continue to use Timely with it on too).
why not just use the AOD though?
I'm currently testing AMdroid, aka 'Alarm Clock for Heavy Sleepers'.
Lots of useful options, but I don't like the way to snooze or turn off the alarm. Not sure if you can customize that.
AMdroid, make the snooze button larger than the dismiss one and make the dismiss button require long press and you are golden.
A calendar app will work, as everyone 's pointed out (I like aCalendar+), but since you asked for a clock app I'd like to recommend AMDroid - it's got a ton of options, including the ability to set a recurrence on a given day of the month.
I use an app called AMdroid/Alarm Clock for Heavy Sleepers as my daily alarm clock and it has a location function. Basically what it does is allows you to set a normal alarm (day/time based) and it won't go off unless you are at that location.
For instance, I have a 9:00 alarm go off on every day except Sunday only if I'm at my house. If I'm anywhere else outside of the geofence it won't go off. There are no notifications when I come in and out of the geofence.
There's a free version and, if I remember correctly, the only difference for the paid version is the lack of ads.
What you ask is a very specific scenario, and on top of that to sync in a specific way with your watch. If I were you I'd start learning a way to do this with Tasker, so maybe you should try asking in a Tasker sub, but there's definitely gonna be a learning curve.
Except for the Tasker solution, what I know is:
-This alarma app will let you create tags for any Google calendar event, even multiple tags with multiple different times bedore the event, so the app will remind you of that single event (and send notification to watch), but it won't tell you "do task A" or "do task B"; it'll simply remind you of that single event multiple times. The event can then be copied from GCalendar and set at different times, retaining the same reminders.
-Tasks.org will allow you to create tasks with sub-tasks (like "do task A", "do task B", etc), and remind you at different times before the main event, but at every reminder you'll see the full list of tasks. On the other hand, every time you complete one of the subtasks you can tick its respective box, so this should help. I'm not sure though how this'll be displayed on a watch, or if you can tick the subtasks directly from your watch, so you'll have to test it out yourself.
Good luck!
Install am droid. Then configure it to set alarms from your calendar.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.amdroidalarmclock.amdroid
I depend on this app.
It is highly configurable and versatile.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.amdroidalarmclock.amdroid
This is your solution. I work shift work with no consistent schedule. This app reads my calendar and sets alarms accordingly
AMdroid is another good option. It's not as feature packed as Sleep as Android but it does have Challenges like Alarmy. It's free with ads (which can be removed for a small one-time fee).
Check out AM droid , I guess it's now called
"Alarm Clock for Heavy Sleepers" stupid name but really good alarm app. You can adjust the upcoming alarm from the notification or from a widget in 15 minute intervals. I think it's only 15 minutes at a time though. And it can be set to only effect the upcoming alarm and not future alarms.
Huh, apparently it's listed as Alarm Clock for Heavy Sleepers now, but the app on my phone is labeled as "AMdroid". ::shrug::
I have a difficult time getting up in the morning. I found the perfect alarm clock app for my Android device called AMdroid.
It will let me snooze the alarm, but if I dismiss it, it will prompt me a minute later to confirm I'm up. If not, it goes off again.
You can also have it set up so to turn off the alarm you have to solve a math problem, scan a NFC tag or a QR code, or something else complex. If you use the tag or QR, you put it in another room so you have to get up to shut off the alarm.
I highly recommend it if you have an Android device (or willing to get a cheap tablet).
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.amdroidalarmclock.amdroid
Not exactly what you're asking for, but if works for me and it sounds like it may solve your issues.
I personally use AmDroid. It has a post alarm option where it'll ask you a few minutes after the alarm has gone off if you're still up, and if you don't reply the alarm will go off again, and again, and again, until you confirm you're up a few minutes after the alarm.
It also has some unique confirmation methods, such as QR code, so you could make yourself go across the house to turn it off.
I don't have a Samsung but you might find an option to enable notifications during a call in the Phone app's settings. I don't think Whatsapp has a setting for this.
Otherwise try the AMdroid app https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.amdroidalarmclock.amdroid
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.amdroidalarmclock.amdroid
I use this alarm app. It's got an option where you can give it permission (admin permisions, IIRC) to survive a reboot. So if that happens addition when you're using this app properly, your alarm will still go off so long as it's not rebooting at the time of the alarm
It's actually an advanced alarm clock, but multifunctional. You can create any reminder, even recurrent ones, with description, colors, and different sounds for each of them. Simple to use, if that's what you like, but features tons of settings if you wanna dig in.
If you're using an Android phone, there is an alarm app that makes you solve basic maths or captchas to be able to turn it off. You can also select your own .mp3 file for the alarm sound. A truck horn is pretty good at waking people up. Here it is: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.amdroidalarmclock.amdroid
Go to Settings and select your snooze / dismiss challenges (they have a lot of options, you can even choose to have the alarm blasting until you scan a bar code).
Didn't mean to dust off an older thread, but I just stumbled across this conversation looking for alternate timer/alarm options myself, and can share this for you: AMdroid.
I love this app for several reasons: you can create your own alarm profiles with different snooze lengths, dismiss options, challenges, etc. I use it for getting up in the morning and specifically removed the snooze option for those alarm profiles so I'm forced to dismiss the alarm completely in whatever way I set it to, because I apparently can solve a math problem and go straight back yo sleep. 😅 So I took away snooze option from myself and use the light sensor dismiss to force me to walk to a specific room and turn on the light to stop the alarm (or an NFC Tag Dismiss with a blank NFC card I stuck on the wall kn the same room as the light source).
I tested to see if you can set an alarm in the way you described, and it can be done! You can set an "hourly" alarm that goes off every X minutes between times A and B (example: between 10am and 7pm, it goes off every 45 minutes), and you can choose the alarm dismiss method of your choosing. Here's a screenshot

Alarm Clock for Heavy Sleepers — Loud + Smart Math - Apps on Google Play
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.amdroidalarmclock.amdroid
In this app, if you go to Settings and click Global settings then click In-call behavior and uncheck the "pause sound" box it might work. Up to you if you would use another clock app.
AMDroid has a setting for its alarm profiles (you can configure profiles for different alarms) that either snoozes or dismisses the alarm after a configurable period. I haven't tried this particular feature, but the app has been great generally.
It's always been like that, the default alarms won't sound while on a call. I believe AMDroid has a setting to have alarms go off while on a call.
AMdroid alarm clock is absolutely one of my favorite apps and makes me wonder why all Ala apps aren't this sophisticated. Worth every penny.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.amdroidalarmclock.amdroid
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.amdroidalarmclock.amdroid
having to hold my phone up to a light to turn my alarm off is the most helpful feature for me personally since it forces me to get out of bed, turn on a light, and point my phone at it
I've had really good luck with the app AMDroid
The app has certainly helped me get up and stop oversleeping so much. I used it on my old phone for years. When I upgraded to a Pixel 3 I continued to use it. I feel like the stock alarm clock doesn't have enough features, it's just a basic alarm. With this app, you get to customize your snooze options. I use a mix of captchas and pesky math problems to get up. Annoying? Oh yes! But! If it works, it works :)
Edit: fixed some typos.
I use AMDroid. It has a "post alarm confirmation" which will forever trigger unless you tap a notification. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.amdroidalarmclock.amdroid&hl=en_US
Yes, it can get annoying if you're up and miss the notification a bunch of times, but boy has it saved my ass more than once.
I use AMdroid. It has so many features it is ridiculous. I use a custom tone that you can hear, it's not obnoxious, and only beeps twice before auto-snoozing. I also have an easy challenge that can be used to dismiss the alarm rather easily, but hard to do accidentally. Great especially for at work. Most people don't even notice it. The $3 or whatever for the premium version is a STEAL. I could also send you the alarm tone I use (had to audio edit it myself) if you decide you're interested.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.amdroidalarmclock.amdroid&hl=en
The stock Clock app by Google has this increasing volume feature!
If you are looking now insane features for alarms...I would seriously recommend AMDroid
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.amdroidalarmclock.amdroid
AMdroid
Click on the time to set your alarm and above the time to the top left there is a drop down called recurrence. You can choose daily, advanced, no repeat, etc.
AMdroid has an "off days" feature that can accept your custom days off, or download holidays or import them from your calendar. (I haven't explored the feature much, just set the odd off-day here and there, but so far it's worked without a hitch.)
AMDroid - this is an alarm clock app on steroids literally! It fulfills your requirement and more and more and more of everything!!!!
I use AM Droid and in the upcoming alarm notification or from a widget you can add and subtract time from that days alarm time.
Might not be the exact one you have as I'm sure there's multiple apps with this feature set. This is the one I use. Loads of good customisation.
I agree, it is great. Cool stuff:
There's this app I'm using that has super complicated set up but basically you can set it to have requirements for it to shut off, you can adjust intensity level, lock it so you can't shut it without being hassled and it can also rering if you don't confirm you're awake after a set amount of time.
App: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.amdroidalarmclock.amdroid
Hands down the best alarm app you can dream of. Furthermore the dev is very active and responsive to emails for support.
Try AMDroid. It ties into your calendar
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.amdroidalarmclock.amdroid&hl=en_US
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.amdroidalarmclock.amdroid
AMdroid is my new favorite. will let you play random songs from a specific folder on your phone... and a ton of other options. also will give you a math challenge. lots and lots of options here
Here are two of my favorite apps:
AMDroid is a great alarm app. Once you've got the settings going for you, it can read your calendar entries and set alarms based upon flags you leave in the appointment.
SoundProfile - Is great for customizing, setting, and switching sound profiles. It can also work from calendar entries, as well as location, and running on a schedule.
I work non-standard hours, with individual clients. My phone doesn't need to be silent all day long, and I don't want to have to remember to make it silent. Also, if I don't have to wake up at 8am, I'm not going to. So, I can book an appointment out in the future and include a text flag. My alarm app will read it an immediate set an alarm for 2 hours before that appointment starts. (2hrs is the profile I made).
There are a lot of great things out there, but these are my two favorite.
As I wrote there, this is incorrect.
Users do it all the time, even if the app doesn't freeze.
Also, removing an app from the recent tasks doesn't help in case the app freezes (you need force-stop), and it doesn't supposed to ruin scheduled alarms. Try the Clock app or this app, for example.
Or remove recent tasks of Gmail, or of WhatsApp, or of Calendar... All of these will continue to work as usual.
AMdroid best alarm app I've ever used just because the calendar integration, I'll put my work schedule into Google calendar link it to AMdroid and I never have to set my work alarms. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.amdroidalarmclock.amdroid
I use AMdroid https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.amdroidalarmclock.amdroid
In settings > profile settings > sound > there are options for volume fade in and volume fade-in interval (allowing you to decide over how long it takes to go from 0 volume to 100.
I also live this app, because it reads my calendar entries for certain triggers and automatically sets alarms.
Well, I don't have a watch to recommend, but you can use AMDroid which supports Android Wear, and just set it to silently vibrate whatever watch you get
Also give this alarm clock a try, https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.amdroidalarmclock.amdroid I haven't tried it myself, but it was recommended when I was looking for something similar.
Or get a modern alarm clock app like This one for Android.
It has so many amazing features. It auto disables alarms on holidays. It auto disables them if I'm out of town. It makes skipping just 1 day super easy. It can make you put in a code to hit snooze. It's what a smart alarm should be.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.amdroidalarmclock.amdroid
Skip next alarm, geofencing, auto-skip holidays, awake confirmation, profiles, snooze/dismiss challenges, sensor support, pre-alarms, sleep tracking, etc. It's everything you could want.
AMdroid bc of it's customization options. You can even customize the vibration ms and the alarm screen. The app looks good too.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.amdroidalarmclock.amdroid
Calendar Widget by Home Agenda. I've been using the free version and it went on sale. It looks great and clean and it shows past events! Surprisingly few do.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.franco.agenda
I found one called AMDroid - I'm currently pestering the developer to improve a couple things, but I still use it as my regular alarm app because it has a good WearOS display and sorta* supports multiple timers running at the same time.
*Improving that is one of the things I am pestering the dev about, the other is a bug triggered by using the watch for alarm control when the phone can't turn the screen on due to proximity sensor.
Oh. I misread, you said Sleep Tracking. AMDroid has the feature, but I have never used it and don't know if it uses the WearOS app
AMDroid can do that. It my favorite alarm app.
Edit: Looks like they changed their name. Now it's: Alarm Clock For Heavy Sleepers
I can't find a better alarm for my Android phone that this one:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.amdroidalarmclock.amdroid
Customizations like any other alarm and it just works. It's reliable.
If your on Android there's an app called AMDroid that lets you set custom alarms in groups and give you the ability to bulk enable and disable alarms. It took me forever to find an alarm with that feature, but it's a game changer.
I ran into this recently too with an app I bought years ago (Gentle Alarm) and just made the switch to AMdroid:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.amdroidalarmclock.amdroid
This works with Beta 6 and I haven't had any issues. One thing to keep in mind is its $2.49 to remove adds.
AM Droid is a really good alarm app
For automation I use Macrodroid it's somewhere between IFTTT and Tasker
I found an app called Amdroid on android. It has a custom auto-dismiss.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.amdroidalarmclock.amdroid
Thanks.
For things that can be done at a specific time of day I use AMDroid there's a calendar integration feature that is KILLER for my ADHD.
I found an app called Amdroid on android. It has a custom auto-dismiss.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.amdroidalarmclock.amdroid
Thanks.
I use AMDroid for my default alarm. Among many other great features, it has its own WearOS companion app, and when you create an alarm you assign it a profile. The profile indicates whether or not to send the alarm to the WearOS app (and if you never want to have an alarm on the watch, simply don't install the companion app).

Does your shift repeat? Like over 2 or 3 weeks? Amdroid (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.amdroidalarmclock.amdroid) has an advanced recurrence setting. So if your schedule does repeat as above, you could set alarms like every 2 weeks on MWF, etc. There's a free version, but of course more features in the full. Might check and see if you can get it to fit your needs. Personally I bought it, really good for heavy/lazy sleepers... LOL.
The reason I stopped using ACP is because it didn't jive with the "Alarm Volume" and DND mode. I had to program DND to end at the exact time the alarm was too go off. If I changed the alarm time, and forgot to change DND, it might not sound the alarm. AMDroid is what I ended up settling on.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.amdroidalarmclock.amdroid
You can skip alarm manually or it can skip alarm based on local holidays, plus a lot of useful options. I've tested tons of alarm clock and always return to this one.
AMdroid is the one I use. It has calendar integration as well as auto-backups that sync to Google Drive so it should be easy to sync between devices.
AMDroid alarm clock https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.amdroidalarmclock.amdroid just added a feature to disable DND when the alarm goes off in the latest release. It is a "per profile" setting, so you can use it for some alarms and not others. Has a number of other great features too. First Android alarm I have found that gives the apparently abandoned Gentle Alarm a run for its money.
There's already an app that I discovered through some app suggestion thread that you can sync with your calendars and using Google calendars with national festivities it can skip those days. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.amdroidalarmclock.amdroid
AMdroid or I guess it has since changed it's name to "Alarm Clock for Heavy Sleepers"
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.amdroidalarmclock.amdroid&hl=en
You expand it's notification and just hit "skip". I wanted the same thing about a year ago, found this and it's been my alarm clock since. Has many extra features also.
My favorite function is you can feed it with a holidays calendar or a custom calendar with your days off, and it will not sound the alarm on those days!
I use AMdroid. You can set custom day or week alarms or integrate it with a calendar. I used to use AlarmPad but switched to this and have no complaints.
Had that happen using my old HTC ONE M8 with CyanogenMod but not on the OP3 using Stock OOS. I'm using a different alarm App though. Very customizable and works like a charm
AM Droid does this. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.amdroidalarmclock.amdroid
Checkout AMDroid
Amdroid https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.amdroidalarmclock.amdroid among many other great features can set alarms based on calendar entries.
I've used several; eventually settled on AMdroid and bought it.
AMdroid is what I use, I believe I found all the features you were asking for.
Snooze, I think I found the option on profile settings. Snooze Menu
Multiple alarms can be set with different profiles. Different dates and times, etc.Multiple alarms
Custom ringtones can be set to different alarms by creating different profiles. custom ringtones
Can also be snoozed by hardware buttons. You can enable from global settings. hardware key settings
AMdroid is the alarm I switched to after AlarmPad. It has a lot of features including calendar integration by tags.

Try Amdroid
You could try AMdroid Alarm Clock. It s been my favourite for a few years now. Reliable with plethora of options.
There probably are several apps that have this feature. The one I use on my Android phone, AMDroid, does, for example.
Amdroid has been a good replacement to Gentle Alarm for me. All the same features and then some with an active developer.

You might have to remove it from battery optimization.
it won't completely solve the problem but there's a few apps that have helped me before. there's AMdroid for android and it looks like there's a similar one, alarmy for both iphone and android. they have "challenges" you need to solve to turn off your alarm, like solving a math problem, doing a captcha, or even things like moving your phone to a location where it's brighter or the wifi signal is stronger/weaker. you can also set it up so you need to scan a specific barcode, and that's what helps me the most. i set it to a lotion bottle in my bathroom, and once i'm in there, i'll at least decide to pee and wash my hands, maybe splash some water on my face, helping me wake up.
there's also the sleep cycle app (this one is paid) where you set a 30-ish minute window for waking up (e.g., 8 to 8:30 am). basically it detects how deeply you're sleeping and tries to wake you up when you're already relatively awake during that chosen window. i've had varying results but it can help, and it also gives you a report of how well you've slept during the night.
and this one might just be a me thing but i've also noticed that my eyes get very dry when i wake up, which can make me feel a lot more tired than i actually am. so having eyedrops within reach when i wake up helps too.
Yes that's it! Here's the link https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.amdroidalarmclock.amdroid&hl=it&gl=US
FWIW, There are quite a few apps that have that functionality, I use AMDroid myself https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.amdroidalarmclock.amdroid
Alarm Clock for Heavy Sleepers can do this
>But then my wife says things like,
"I always have to tell you what to do! I'm not your mother."
"I just told you. Why do I have to repeat myself all the time?"
"You're fine for a few days and then you go right back to not vacuuming the house, or any of the other things adults do to coexist."
Schedule a time with your wife to sit down and learn about ADHD. Good news, neither of you have to read anything! This is going to be helpful for you because you might learn a bit about yourself, but more importantly, this is going to be beneficial for you because your wife will learn about you and how different your brain is.
What is a Body Double and How Does it Help?
How to Help Someone Who Has ADHD
Oh and to answer that last statement from your wife, you need a schedule. I can do any task as long as it's the same task, every day, at the same time. No, not 3 days a week, not every other day, not weekdays, not weekends, every single day. In order words, find daily things that need to be done, ie dishes. Find a time where dinner dishes are guaranteed to be in the sink and do them every day at that time. My time is 8 PM (usually dishes sit for 90-120 minutes). At 8, my alarm goes off to do dishes, if I'm involved in something, I will snooze my alarm and get to a stopping point and continue to snooze until I get up and do them. Our trash/recycling days change every single week, so my wife knows there is no possible way I'm ever going to be relied on to take trash/recycling out.
Analyze other things you can take over every day. Maybe you usually vacuum every 2-3 days. How many rooms need vacuuming in the home? Divide that number by 7 and vacuum a room or two a day. Maybe you only have 7 rooms in the home? Devise a schedule for what two rooms you're going to vacuum a day, you're now vacuuming each room once every 3-4 days.
The more daily tasks you can set to a schedule, the better. I am not good with habits, other than biting my fingernails, playing video games, and going to work (this is hard for a lot of people, but my motivation is my and my family's survival). I use an alarm app called AMDroid that allows you to set very customizable alarms. It even allows calendar imports for alarms (so yes, I could probably figure out how to get trash/recycling done since I work in tech, can't be too hard, guess I work on that after i submit)
>Can some of you help me out with your experiences with Adderall?
My wife notices a significant difference in my attitude, behavior, and mannerisms when I don't take my medication. It is life-changing.

>... ADD was such a problem... legitimately debilitating.
And here we are. It is, and it most definitely is.
Those who are unmedicated and untreated are, at times, good at doing a few things in life, and they're generally non-productive and/or self-destructive. For me, it's video games. Drugs and alcohol are not fun for me (aside from very specific things that are not generally addictive or harmful (If taken appropriately)). Gambling is stressful and anxiety-provoking. I consider myself lucky, to be honest.
Note: I'm not directly trying to call anyone out or make a blanket statement that all people who are unmedicated make poor choices, but some of us definitely do. I sure did.

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.amdroidalarmclock.amdroid
I don't know about google hub max, but try this
AMdroid can do that.
I'm a stupidly heavy sleeper, but I manage to get up at 5:00 each morning. My setup right now goes something like this:
There's probably heaps I'm forgetting, but hopefully this gives you some ideas.
Yeah, it's probably way too complex, but I find this system works better for me than phone-locking alarms, or pretty much anything else I've tried. I guess for a couple of main reasons. The blueish white light helps to reduce melatonin and allows the brain to wake up easier, and the news and music are things I actually look forward to hearing, so my brain begins to focus.
I recommend AMdroid:

Why create an app when this functionality is built-in to Android via the Calendar app and alerts/notifications? There are even apps in the store that do what you want with extra features, like AMDroid Alarm Clock.
