Apparently it’s used in traditional Japanese musical notation to denote the start of a song. That still doesn’t explain why you see it in pictures unless some photo editing app uses it as a watermark.

You would think a customer with that kind of condition would be forthcoming with their capacity, not sure how a salesperson could direct a customer without this understanding. If he can understand certain colors or shapes that would be pretty helpful for picking out a kitchen/bathroom style, placement, or equipment.
This guy in South Africa published a book which is quite funny and real. I know it's real because my dad is featured in one of the letters.

Lmao not really, but lmao. A laminectomy is taking the back part of the spine off. If you feel your back, the parts that you can actually touch (the middle at least) are taken off. Your vertebrae (the things you’re feeling) surround your spinal chord. If there is pressure on your spinal chord, it hurts, and since the spinal chord connects mostly the entire body’s nervous system, if something goes wrong, parts of the body are affected. We need to relieve the spinal chord of pressure, so we take off the back of it to give more room. picture

The author isn't really able to say though. Ray Bradbury insists that the book about <em>burning books</em> was not in any way commentary on censorship or freedom of thought/knowledge, but on how TV was making us stupid. The intention of the author isn't important, what's important is what the reader understands. The book is meant to stand on its own, so whatever it communicates is all that matters, not what it was trying to communicate. An author can't exactly print a retraction to clear things up if they've miscommunicated.

Oh man I have a 70 lb golden and even a proper sized bowl I was filling it 3-4 times a day. The look I got when it ran out.
I ended up getting a Petstages 1 gallon water bowl with container on Amazon. Any larger and it gets scummy. It's super nice filling it every other day now. I did a ton of research on other reservoir units and this one has a spring loaded rubber stopper that makes it a lot less messy to refill.

Your joke is a classic boomer joke, just reworded to be harder to understand. "My food eats your food" is the joke vegetarians probably hear most.
Look up the Jouse! I dated a quadriplegic girl in the past and she used one of these to control her computer. A little joystick goes in your mouth and you can control it with your tongue to move the mouse as well as using sucking and blowing you mentioned for left and right click. She used an on screen keyboard and became VERY good with it. She could type faster on the on screen keyboard with it than I could using my hands and a mouse on one. I would imagine she is using voice to text nowadays for typing, as this was back in 2008ish while that stuff still sucked. She had a Jouse 2 at the time but I think they have version 3 now

I bought a Rexing camera off of Amazon that has been holding up well. Link here, I have this model with an included back camera that cost me $20 more.
You can go with whatever camera you want based on personal preference and budget, but I would recommend you get one that's a capacitor model, not a battery one. The capacitor ones only last a few seconds while the car is turned off fully but that's fine, you won't have to worry about a battery dying and leaking all over your car.

I didn't see anyone give you an honest answer so I'd give it a shot, the bike you linked is a BMX bike, its made to be flipped, and mostly ridden "out of seat", that is to say, with your ass in the air. So the bike is designed to take a lot of crashes, that specific bike is also a kids bike, you want a kids bike to be tough and durable as nails.
An actual bike, made to be ridden by adults, on the road, for long periods of time, following rules (sorry about all that) is more akin to something like this
Its still 25 pounds, but think about the leverage you are able to get on that 25 to be able to yeet it, I think someone could easily toss a bike into a tree. I have a Jamis DXT A3 that's 33 lbs empty, it feels like air compared to the Walmart special P.O.S. it replaced.
Don't buy cheap bikes! They are more expensive -_-

Nope, I’m correct. Perhaps you’re thinking of after

>If the word "and" is used to join two independent clauses, then there should be a comma before the "and" and never after it. You might want to include a comma after the "and", but this is never correct.
Either you got the rule confused, or you’re arguing for the sake of arguing cause you’re bored. Whichever, have a good one
Not OP, but for my cat I use an automatic feeder (one of the ones with 5 compartments where only one is exposed at a time - this one specifically(Amazon link)) and split one can of wet food into four portions across a whole day, so he eats every 6 hours. When reloading it, I make sure to take a little bit from the first portion and put it in the compartment that will be immediately exposed to get him off my back (since he comes to beg when I open the can). Also if he gets hungry early, or if he throws up and will have to wait with an empty stomach for a long time, I split the next portion and give him 1/3 to 1/2 of it immediately and that will tide him over until it cycles again.
It took a little while for him to get used to the schedule, but after a while he got used to the amount and the timing and seems to be content without being overfed. I still get suckered into giving him treats though, so he's a tiny bit overweight, but otherwise I'm happy with the solution.

Alright, so, I don't know as much about physics as probably many of you and might be wrong therefore. But could we try to do some math on this on how much pressure it would take?
It seems that it's not abnormal to have an 1800 psi pressure washer. Here's a link to one for example https://www.walmart.com/ip/All-Power-1800-PSI-Pressure-Washer/10993779
Alright so psi is pounds per square inch and (I think) is a unit of pressure. Assuming he's 180 pounds as we said before. How much pressure would it take to lift him?
I have no idea how to go from here and, it seems unreasonable that it would only take 180 psi and one square inch to lift him.
Could anybody come with an explanation?

That's when ISPs were reclassified under Title II not when not neutrality was created. NN existed long before then, the FCC was enforcing it, Comcast took the FCC to court and the court ruled that the FCC doesn't have authority to enforce NN (as it had already been doing). The reclassification of ISPs in 2015 was so the FCC would have the legal authority to continue to enforce NN. As it says in your quote, the 2015 change preserved NN it didn't create it.

A 300 lb man most likely has above average strength, meaning that he's stronger than most people, including males, in that case, a male cop is probably the best option, going in line with what I said previously.
A female that has above average strength (not for her size, but for her sex, so yes, said female can be 6'6" and weigh 250 lbs) is definitely going to be stronger than below average males so I'm really struggling to see how what I said previously is supposed to be "not even remotely true". Here's an image showing grip strength between males, females, and female athletes, as you can see, above average females are stronger than below average males, and the very top of the female athletes in the study are stronger than average males, exactly how I said in my previous comment.

The exact quote is this :
Well, it turned out that customers preferred the taste of our fresh beef over traditional fast-food hockey pucks. Hands down, we had a better product. But there was a serious problem. More than half of the participants in the Yankelovich focus groups questioned the price of our burger. "Why," they asked, "should we pay the same amount for a third of a pound of meat as we do for a quarter-pound of meat at McDonald's? You're overcharging us." Honestly. People thought a third of a pound was less than a quarter of a pound. After all, three is less than four!
There's no other source, data or anything besides the CEO's word that his massive marketing scheme was definitely not his fault and it was obviously just because americans are too stupid to do math.

This is why the 180 degree rule exists. The scene actually does make sense, since The Rock is supposed to be in front of Vin Diesel, but since the camera made such an aggressive jump, our brain couldn't quite follow the movement. Not know what the position of the camera is supposed to be, our brain makes a guess, in this case guessing that Vin Diesel is actually in front of The Rock, making him look super small due to perspective, in the same way the hobbits look small in the LotR movies.

Yes and no. The cheap flimsy brass wood ones are famous to not work, they either won’t go off at all or they snap on their own because the tension setting on the triggers are wildly unpredictable. These ones work pretty well, Victor rat snaps. I know of the black plastic jaw traps you mean, we call them t-rex traps. They work okay for smaller rodents but they tend not to have enough force to kill some of the bigger boys.

> Yup I get it. My dad was a professional boxer and I hated when he brought his home work.
Haha, I love that. It sounds like you’re doing a great job. Honestly I think one of the most important things is having a growth mindset - seeing yourself as a constant work in progress, rather than a fixed entity. I think a large part of so-called ‘maladaptive’ behaviour is a result of lacking that: e.g. the far too many people on Reddit who respond to kindly corrections by interpreting them as a personal attack, and exploding, because they think it’s a criticism of what they are and always will be like, rather than something intended to help them grow.
Anyway, I hope you have a great journey towards self-actualisation! I’m absolutely the same way. It’s especially noticeable in programming: I’m endlessly working on side projects (currently a search engine in Rust, because I want to get more proficient with the language), and people often ask why I do it if I don’t expect most of them to go anywhere. That feels like Greek to me. I do it because I become a better programmer in the process. (And I love the craft: it feels like a kind of zen, being able to express my thoughts in code.)
I think one of the keys to life is having a small self-concept. I am Sam, Sam I am, and I am not ‘the person who has such-and-such political beliefs’ or ‘the person who is gay’ or ‘the person who has Asperger’s’ or whatever it is. IMO the less we adopt as part of our identity, the better we are at reflecting on ourselves, and growing.

Oh trust me brother, I absolutely know a ton of "Muslims in name only" too. That's one thing all religious beliefs have in common.
The Quran definitely has some repetitive parts to it. It was sent down over a period of 23 years, and the people around it definitely needed some reminders of "hey dipshits quit being racist" or "yo can y'all pls chill with the paganism" more than a few times. That's usually towards the latter half of the Quran. The first half deals with other matters entirely.
This Quran on amazon is by far the most easily digestible, well written translation I've come across. It's written in a contemporary prose style like any other book (without the Ye Olde English and the cumbersome verse by verse wording) while also retaining the original essence of the message. I'd highly suggest it if you ever become curious or know someone who is. I'll be more than willing to cover the cost too for you should you ever choose to get one.

> our ... census system is racist
For the census to be racist it would need to prescribe race. So if it asked you a series of personal questions which were later used to assign you a race it’d be racist but I don’t think it is as it stands now.
> our population ... is racist.
I don’t know that we’re part of the same population but also saying a population is racist doesn’t make a lot of sense. You could say whether a culture or society is racist and perhaps by extension say the population is therefore racist or not but your forcing a generalization where none is needed.
What society are you referring to as ours? I’m in America. American society is racist, yes. It practices, to varying degrees, a caste system originating from Spain and the transatlantic slave trade that is based on race, so factually it is, to those varying degrees, racist.

You can take a look at this. Maybe interesting if your data science junkie.
> But the large vinyl albums were always played at 33 I thought?
Usually, but not always. It's really a question about how much music you want to put on a disc. Ideally, 45rpm would be the standard, as it produces better sound quality (just like SP vs. SLP on a VCR). But if all albums came on 45rpm discs, they'd all have to be double albums, and consumers wouldn't like that, nor would record companies, for the extra cost. So 33.3 rpm for most albums it is.
12" singles are the exact same size as 12" LPs, and they're usually played at 45rpm. They typically contain one or two dance remixes of a song, and were what DJs at clubs played before most of them went digital.
There are 7" discs that are played at 33.3rpm, even though most 7" discs are played at 45rpm. If you ever see a 7" record with 4-5 songs on it, it's actually an extended play (EP) and will certainly be played at 33.3 rpm. I dunno about nowadays, but in the 80s there were these semi-legal, bootleg "interview discs". As the tins says, they were interviews with music stars. They were usually 7" vinyl, often colored vinyl, played at 33rpm (to be able to hold longer content, because you don't need voice to sound "as good" as music.
There are also 10" singles, roughly halfway between the size of a 7" single and a 12" LP\single (duh). They're kind of rare, but are usually released as singles (but often with three songs instead of two). A few albums were released in 10" format: I have a copy of The Police's Regatta de Blanc which came on two 10" discs that play at 45rpm.
I just got this from France last week: a clear vinyl 10" EP from a band called Camp Claude.
My cats do a ton better with this style. One walked crouched for a couple of days before figuring it out, and the other just had no problem at all. Both of them would flop uselessly in a harness of the style in the video.
(We unfortunately don't go on walks anymore, but it was useful for a trip through an airport. You have to carry them in arm through TSA and I didn't want to risk them running off in an airport.)
No they were like the sprinkler version of the inflatable balloon men. Dome with mini pool noodle looking faucets that danced and sprayed water every direction. Lotta fun.

You can always say 'Live Agent' at any times to talk to a real human and don't criticise poor Rita, she's just tryna help :D
When an advertisement bot bothers me, I take a moment to relax and meditate. This way, I'm less annoyed by bots, and able to live healthier, happier, more well-rested life in just a few minutes a day with the Headspace app.
"obligate carnivore"
n. An animal that necessarily subsists on a diet consisting mainly of meat, because it does not possess the physiology to digest vegetable matter. Such animals may consume other materials (vegetable or mineral) for non-nutritional purposes.
I found this using VT intelligence, matches filename, it's a day before, and it's a russian doc.
I just found this on VT intelligence, it was apart of a phishing campaign starting the fifth of july. It's a macro based dropper.
Here's the VT Link: https://virustotal.com/en/file/9cedcbdc96fa0bd258292b573c1476a311e5317918f33e6a2f39de4929abd823/analysis/
Here's the hybrid link (so you can see what the doc does and looks like): https://www.hybrid-analysis.com/sample/9cedcbdc96fa0bd258292b573c1476a311e5317918f33e6a2f39de4929abd823?environmentId=100
What happens is the original site will create content and then put it at a certain URL. Sometimes they'll partner with Google and write the site so that Google can host a copy of it and access it in a special way, this is called AMP. Then the link will get shared and encoded along the way adding more stuff to it. This happens a few times, accumulating crud along the way.
In the end the link might go through several sites before getting to the actual content, at each step someone is reading your information and tracking you – possibly adding stuff to the actual web page so they can inject their own advertisements and scripting. It slows down the loading of the website, allows companies to monetize your viewing of the site, and tracking you to get more information about you. It's pretty nasty and it happens all the time under our noses.
I recommend getting a plugin for your web viewer, something like Ghostery or similar. It will filter out any trackers and such that are on a webpage you're viewing. You'd be amazed at how many there are on some pages – easily dozens of them all going to different organizations.
Why are so raging right now man? Do you want me to relieve the pressure? To release the ‘load’? Nothing is disgusting about good old racism man. Its just fun. Everything is. From the beheadings from the sandniggers, to american empire bombing the sandniggers itself
LMAOOOOO I'm a black Jewish dude with opinions, I think its fair to call myself and opinionated nibba. And my profile 'character' is just black cause I didn't care to do anything else with it and thought it looked cool, being called racist cause I choose the color black for my avatar is fucking hilarious though, that's a new one.
If you live in a densely populated area and cant afford a house by yourself, then get one with a roommate I don't see how or why that is an issue, there's just not enough space for everyone to get a house for themselves in places like NewYork.
And here you go, made this just to prove you incorrect https://codeshare.io/5QKkkW thats my own code used on a dspic33fj128mc in mplab x compiled with XC 16 and that's my own goddamn hand, im already lighter skinned but my skin got even lighter cause I haven't been outside much due to rona.
And maybe I am ignorant on what poor people in America have to deal with, I have an upper middle class family currently, but I came from rural Jamaica where my aunt and uncles sell cattle and my grandma is still working at the spry age of 75, while living with most of her children and grand children because they cant afford not too. So living with a bit of a lack of privacy due to roommates cause you have are in an expensive area, doesn't seem to bad in comparison to having to bathe yourself in the rain because you ran out of water since you were the last of the 7 people in your house to get to the shower.
and out of the two of us, I havent said a single thing negative to you during our whole interaction, and even applauded your effort in the spreadsheet, even if it was for naught. Yet you call me racist due to your misassumption of my skin and also curse me, who here is more childish? rhetorical question cause its not me bud.
Nice. It’s one of my favorite episodes. I have this in my mancave:

Seems like This and a flathead screwdriver oughta be something to keep in the car.
Too bad you don’t seem to have a basic understanding of politics. It’s ok, I found you this book that might help
There's silica litter for cats. It's supposed to have close to no dust unlike the clay-based litter which is often pretty damn horrible. I've heard of people using the clay kind for keeping moisture low in their cars, but I suppose the silica litter is no different.
Oh I bet, I know they can get super pricey and I'm sure that's indicative of better quality. I use it almost daily, but nowhere near as much as a chef at a restaurant might, so the $125 I spent at the time on it (I got this one) I feel is a good balance of price and edge strength (for lack of a better term), at least so far so good as I've actually had it five months now (not "a couple months ago" as per my previous comment) and it's still as sharp as ever although I did do some light sharpening using a honing rod thingy (yeah, I'm bad with the terms...sorry) a few times just to make sure it stays as sharp as can be. My previous knife I had to sharpen like once a week...but it was also super cheap. I am trying to buy more "buy it for life" things now that I can afford them again and this was near the top of my list since I cook for myself every day. I definitely treat it better too since it's not cheap, versus my old knife I threw into the drawer without thinking about it, haha.
Thank you for the bread knife recommendation, although I can't remember the last time I cut a loaf of bread... :) I get all my carbs through craft beers so I steer clear of bread most of the time, haha. Although I will say I stumbled upon argan oil recently and that and some whole wheat bread dipped into it... oh my, that's some delicious stuff! I can only imagine how much better it would be with a warm freshly sliced loaf!
They're aimed at kids birthdays really, they really are so so so so tiny in comparison to real fireworks or sparklers or smoke bombs. I think they probably use flash paper or maybe a tiny but if gunpowder. something like this
