For the backstory, this was a truck driver who wanted a new truck and did this so his employer would buy a new one (source in french). He was asked to pay a new truck and left the company (without paying back his employer according to his twitter).
There's a book called Predictably Irrational that talks about studies in human behavior that's related to this. The idea is that we have a certain set of mores for social behavior and a separate set of mores for business behavior, so you get irrational behavior when you cross from one to the other.
For instance, they sold starburst candies as an experiment. As expected, sales went up as price went down, until they became free. Then people took only took a one or two, because it was now a social transaction, not a business transaction. But if they were a penny a piece, people felt free to drop a dollar and take 100 of em.
So it looks like this is a TikTok filter. Not sure if it's content aware or done after the video is recorded but it looks like it detects motion because we have this genius cat piece too: https://www.tiktok.com/embed/6691873428158287109
I like that the “VR gear” is actually just old spy toys. I remember having that exact set where you could send messages to each other via the keypad on his wrist. The thing that looks like a microphone is actually an eyepiece that has a teeny display for text, if I’m not mistaken.

The face (and voice) is a guy from a popular Japanese show Gaki No Tsukai. He and a few other guys from that show are doing their own Amazon Prime series, though I haven't heard much about it.
EDIT: The show is called Documental
Reminds me of the most terrifying Preston Garvey that ever needed your help with a settlement.

Holy shit, it's not even an actual freestyle. She wrote this out in advance.
The Kickstarter was for a fantasy RPG that asked for 500 grand and got $178. The original video is on that page, and here's Retsupurae making fun of it.
EDIT: Linked the wrong Kickstarter.
Here you go mate. It's from a BBC show called The Big Life Fix and there are 2 stories each episode. The story you're interested in starts around 22 minutes and you get to see more of the development process. Enjoy it :)
California hasn't run out of water... yet. I work in water management in Colorado, and the Colorado River simply will not be able to provide enough water at the current usage. The river often does not reach the sea of Cortez, and climate change is diminishing the amount of snowmelt every year which constitute the headwaters for the river. It provides around 55% of drinking water for SoCal alone.
Seriously, something critical needs to be changed in water use in the southwestern region, or the whole place will become a desert before you know it.
Edit: linked below is a great article with some really important points. The 131 foot dam extension mentioned in the article will be started next year
Confirmed in the original text. Plus the movie puts you on notice that the Oz universe distinguishes between "good witches" and "bad witches."
The other option there is changing their food. Some dogs eat grass (and then vomit) because they are not getting enough fiber.
You can supplement this with treats instead of changing their food completely. (Example, not affiliated at all: https://www.amazon.com/Stewarts-Fiber-Formula-Medium-Biscuits/dp/B00119ZKOU)
Remember, if you change their food mix the two foods together gradually phasing out the old one slowly over the course of a week or two to prevent upset tummies.
Or if you go the treat route they may have diarrhea the first time or two, so go slow and start with just one a day each and gauge their reaction.
Even though they are man's best friend our buddies can't speak to us with words, so they have to do it with actions. If they are eating grass I would guess that the food they have is missing something and they know it, they just can't express it properly.
Please let me know if they get any better! Everyone's dog is the best dog in the world, and they deserve the best, too!
If you're going to reupload, for fuck's sake, just use the full quality version (open in new tab>download) instead of compounding YT's shitty compression.
And feel free to credit me or don't... Don't sweat it either way.
EDIT: also, this is totally not "RIP headphones". Whoever flaired that needs to turn down their damn headphones in the first place. I just woke up and listened with headphones on fine, and don't see any comments about it.

India never really saw the atrocities up close from WW2 and have a weird fascination with Hitler, that is not anti-semite related. They think more about how he was a strong leader for Germany during one of it's worst times. NPR even has an article on it.

Wow you appear to be right. I just googled the lyrics and assumed the video with 5.5 million views would be accurate. I just spent the last 10 minutes trying to figure out why this video is mistitled. INOJ does not even perform on My Boo (the female vocalist is Virgo). The closest thing to an explanation I could find is that there was a Ghost Town DJ's and INOJ split that had My Boo and then an INOJ track. I guess the youtube poster was confused as to which song was by which artist.
And then I was confused by their title "INOJ - I Want To Be Your Lady Baby". I assumed that they would title it "Artist - Song" but they did "Artist - Hook Lyric". I see now in the video description they say the song is "INOJ (My Boo)". Which is still wrong, as you point out, but is closer to correct.
Anyway, I've edited my comment. Thanks!

About nine months ago, google wrote an algorithm to find the funniest video on youtube based on the responses of commenters, and this video in particular won.
So yeah, you're probably wrong.

OK lasagna noodle is a crazy term to hear. Definition of noodle. Apparently in the us they call all sorts of pasta noodles. Which is dumb and incorrect.
The correct term is lasagna sheet.
Also carbonara is delicious you maniac
huge sums of that money were tucked into private contractor's pockets; I suggest you read a book called The Shock Doctrine. not trying to absolve the middle east here but I think you'll change your opinion after you do.

I believe he deserves more though, especially since there are fake pranksters out there making millions.
What are you talking about? Bint Misr is literally the Arabic name of Misirlou, both of them meaning “Egyptian girl”. This article makes no distinction between the two.
From the above article “In 1944, Lebanese musician Clovis el-Hajj performed this song and called it "Amal".” Thats the version I linked, which was based on the old Darwish 1919 recording.
Yes, written by Douglas Adams. Started out as some radio sketches, then Adams wrote a "trilogy of five" with the first book eventually being developed into film. The humour works best in written form, in my opinion however. I'd highly recommend grabbing it for a read!
Technically your definition of racism is bullshit and you know it
https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/racism
Racism has never had to do with power, it is prejudice based on race and nothing more. Having power makes it easier to discriminate and harder to be discriminated against but its not impossible. Black people can be racist to white people just like how white people can be racist to black people.
I mean with RES and using it to filter the meme flair it became a lot better in my opinion.
I find myself laughing way more often watching this sub after using it.
It doesn't work for 100% of posts but it still good enough for me.
If you're on mobile on the other hand...
These may not be the same ones in the video btw. My friend had a set years ago. They were terrible apart from the water jet novelty.
No. But with Android I'm pretty sure you can use Sleep as Android.

I made a mobile app for people who, like me, find they can't stop remembering mistakes they made at work and other embarrassing events from their past. It's called Cringebot and it's free and available for iOS and Android. I make no money from it, it transmits no data back to me, and it is open source. I hope it helps you.
It really seems like you have no idea what you're talking about, so I'll go point by point here.
Firstly, literally everyone at a competitive level uses sleeves, you actually legally can't play at a high competitive level without sleeves. Even if you could, no one would want to, magic cards are expensive and even just shuffling them creates tiny nicks and scratches that lower their value. Sleeves are relatively cheap and no one minds using them.
Secondly, WotC has made many efforts to prevent counterfeiting including the holostamp at the bottom of rares and mythics, many different printing techniques that most printers aren't capable of, as well as an inner blue layer.
Thirdly, yes, strong cards are obviously more expensive. Ignoring draft, which allows everyone to be at an equal level financially, if you're playing competitively, you will have to pay for the most expensive cards. But everyone is willing to do that (at a competitive level), so the issues with "pay to win" are eliminated because everyone paid to win.
Finally, your comment implies that magic doesn't have a consistent competitive scene. More than 2000 people participated in the main event, with hundreds more purely attending to participate in side events and to spectate. At a local level, go to your local game store and see how many people show up Friday night for magic.
HTML and CSS are easy peasy to learn, you should spend a few hours learning the basics. It really makes you understand how the internet works a lot more than you already do; i'd suggest that everyone should know it.

Fun fact:
This can be done with any two relatively-prime sized jugs (that is, the jugs are m-gallons and n-gallons with gcd(m,n) = 1) for any (non-negative integer) amount of water you want, as long as one of the jugs can hold it.
Example:
Given a 4-gallon jug and a 9-gallon jug, we can get exactly 2 gallons of water by the following (using a similar naming scheme):
Fill 4GJ.
Pour into 9GJ.
Repeat 1 and 2 until 9GJ is full.
Empty 9GJ.
Pour the remaining water from 4GJ into 9GJ [at this point, this should be 3 gallons].
Do 3 again.
4GJ should now have 2 gallons.
This is a consequence of Bezout's lemma. The algorithm is basically the Euclidean algorithm.
Headphones with foam tips to drown out the external noise. If you want a recommendation, I love these. They sound great even at my preferred "drown out all sound at the gym" levels and they've survived 3 years of workouts. Had to replace the foam tips after like 2 years, but that's like $15. IMO a decent pair of headphones for the gym is worth spending a bit on.

Get a separate, metal T valve to put between the bidet hose and the toilet intake (instead of the crappy plastic T that most of those bidet's come with). I have one there and have the pressure turned down almost all the way.
Yup, took it right from that mix too haha, I've had that since I was a kid. The full track is called Follow Me by Alpha Crime for those interested. For screamo, Check out Orchid, Pg 99, Loma Prieta, Saetia, Gospel, and City Of Caterpillar
If you want to check out classic 80's emo too (basically 80's hardcore punk with more experimentation/heart-felt lyrics), I also recommend Rites Of Spring, Embrace, early Fugazi, and Moss Icon. This list here has a bunch more bands listed in the emo, screamo, and post-hardcore genres if you end up liking it.
Of course it's a community of folks from everywhere, but <u>half</u> of reddit's traffic and content is from the US, and certainly even a larger share than half for english language content. The site started in the US and is extremely popular here, it's silly not to expect US cultural issues to leak in, Americans are constantly bumping into each other. It's a lot rarer for a two folks from Finland to cross paths on a random post.
If I decided to join a content aggregator that started in Brazil I think it'd be pretty silly of me to get miffed when two Brazilians started arguing about Bolsonaro.
If American politics are so intolerable for you, I'd recommend a good place to start would be avoiding the comment section for videos that are clearly jokes about American politics.
Can also use Ripme to rip every post from her insta and watch them all that way. The tool was created as a way to watch/collect content that has awful video player controls or is locked behind something silly when inspect element

Did YouTube LLC at least tell you why they took it down or are you left in the dark about that?
Oh by the way, did you hear about all the new decentralized and censorship-resistant video platforms popping up? d.tube is one of those.
Everything I use has an adblocker. The default Samsung browser blocks youtube ads now. If you want to maintain functionality check out Youtube Vanced. The ads now really are that fucking bad.
I started blocking on twitch once they added ads just to load a stream. Like let me pick what to watch at least first even if you want to hit me 5 minutes in.
I don't like how the right click menu is nested, so I prefer peazip.
But do you know what's even better? It only works for Windows, but there's a lesser known program called Bandizip. It lets you completely customize the right click menu and it has "extract automatically", which extracts to a folder only if there's multiple files in the zip.

>Werner Herzog moved to the United States in the mid 1990s. He tried living in San Francisco, but found it "too chic and leisurely." He gave thought to New York, but realized it is "only a place to go [to] if you're into finances." Looking for "a place of cultural substance," he ended up in Los Angeles. The city is "raw, uncouth and bizarre," but it's a place of substance," he concluded.
>By 2006, Herzog discovered that L.A. also has a little danger going for it. During an interview with BBC critic Mark Kermode, the filmmaker took a shot from an unknown gunman armed with an air rifle. No matter. Kermode and Herzog quickly relocated and continued the interview. The unflappable Herzog shrugged off the shooting, simply saying "It was not a significant bullet. I am not afraid."
Check this out Click on the UK and the US buttons to hear the different pronounciations.
As someone who is a non-native English speaker, I've always found the American pronounciations for some words very odd. For example, when they say 'pasta' and 'garage', they make the a vowels sound like 'uhh'. I always thought this goes against the usual ways that Americans pronounce things. To me, it sounds sort of 'French', and always thought it sounds closer to a 'posh English accent's than a US accent.
Buy a pack of "vileda scrunge" if you want the best sponge.
I bought this pack and I think it will last me for at least 3 years. And they work great.
Here’s a translation with as much neutral language and as little strawmen as possible.
A female game developer was supposedly in a relationship with a game reviewer while the game reviewer wrote a favorable article on March 31st on her game, violating conflict in interest disclosure agreements (game review is still journalism after all) if true. The boss of the game reviewer counterclaims, stating that they started the relationship in early April.
https://kotaku.com/in-recent-days-ive-been-asked-several-times-about-a-pos-1624707346
This claim came from the ex boyfriend of the developer after he posted chat logs about how she cheated on him with multiple people that had reviewed and judged her game. These people have counterclaimed, but it’s mostly he said she said.
https://thezoepost.wordpress.com/
The developer also has said that she has been heavily harassed and doxxed. While I have no doubt she has been, one such post on Twitter where she claimed she was doxxed was proven to be false, and she had deleted it shortly after. Also, one community that the game developer claims to have been harassed by counterclaims.
knowyourmeme.com/memes/events/quinnspiracy
The game is under a “pay what you want” business model, and the intrinsic value comes from the publicity itself.
People in opposition claim it’s about misogyny, people in support claim it’s about game review ethics.
If you're wanting to test the waters before you get mega into headphones.
Xiaomi Hybrid Pro HD. Grab these.
For ~$20, they sound about 90% as good as some of my $100-$200 headphones, plus they're very expensive feeling/looking.
But be warned, once you try good headphones you can never ever go back.
> The quote didn't say what you claimed it did.
Yes it actually did.
>No, no one ever said that, but if I criticized someone for thinking they deserve basic respect and dignity when they do nothing to harm others I'd be a huge asshole.
Red herring. That has nothing to do with my point.
>I'm criticizing your beliefs and opinions because they are directly harmful and detrimental. I didn't say all beliefs deserve respect, and yours certainly doesn't in my eyes. You can believe peaceful people doing nothing against you shouldn't believe in their own lifestyles, and I can call you a huge asshole for that belief.
https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/gender
https://en.oxforddictionaries.com/definition/gender
Again. Gender is not nor has it ever been a lifestyle.
Also I'd like some proof thinking there are only 2 genders is harmful and detrimental.
> "Aren't you being a bit self-important implying only the genders you believe in can exist? Plenty of people would try to argue transgender is a viable gender, and plenty would argue against it as well.
No I'm actually not because I'm not the one who is acting as if I speak for society. Genders come from culture, society and sex to a certain extent. Not individual whims.
>People assign value to things that don't exist all the time and hope everyone else agrees
Yeah, "hope". Not state as a fact. If that youtuber had simply shared her opinion on the genders she believes exists, then present her reasoning why she thinks that, I'd be inclined to hear her out. I actually took the time to watch the original source video. Guess what? She doesn't.
You need to be able to back up the shit that comes out of your mouth. If not don't be surprised when people call you out for being full of shit.
>I never said there are 76 but dank strawman.
You might want to know your logical fallacies before you accuse other people of using them. Look up what ad hominem is. Maybe you'll figure it out.
>You getting all butthurt because hey maybe someone with a dick doesn't prescribe to the whole male gender role just shows immaturity.
I'd avoid accusing people of immaturity while using words like "butthurt", if I were you.
Furthermore in case it wasn't obvious, not prescribing to gender roles != being a completely different gender.
...no. MtGox shutting down was in no way related to dogecoin's slow decent out of relevancy.
just like with every other meme, it gets super popular and then just dwindles out and dies... but i have no idea what the hell is going on with that recent price spike
it's a browser based game: https://www.geoguessr.com/ I was free for a long time but since Google like quadrupoled their costs for the GMaps API, they had to introduce a monthly subscription system. But you can play one game per day for free and there is also the challenge system, where you can participate in challenges created by paying users for free. Check out /r/geoguessr for example, where such challenges are posted daily.
davinci resolve is also free, doesn't add any watermarks, and allows you to export in the correct aspect ratio. give it a shot, if you wanna!
Good question! So I've seen JCS pop up in my feed before and only watched a couple minutes of each, but I think my interest in those is low because there's very little psychology going on and JCS is clearly interested in telling a similar podcast-style narrative rather than the cause/effect relationship I mentioned above. Instead it's all about profiling and questioning, very little about the mind itself, never mind the creepy rubbernecking that JCS and other podcasts can have.
That's a shame because good criminal psychology focuses on how the mind interacts with not just the crime, but the people around us. For example, Ordinary Men: Reserve Police Battalion 101 and the Final Solution in Poland is a fantastic book that describes how ordinary men slip from being retired grandpas to cold-blooded killers. It's not marketed as criminal psychology, but as a person you'll read a much more fascinating case study of good men gone bad and, most importantly, you'll be able to see how you too would likely have done the same based off of how the mind works and how external pressures to conform can do wonders for rationalizing evil acts.
Your getting the chicken and the egg mixed up here. They aren't waiting to get married, they simply can't find stable relationships.

The same reason anything pushing societal boundaries of decorum and acceptable content becomes popular. Puritan idealists who define what is acceptable or not as entertainment say that it's wrong, this makes it "forbidden" which therefore increases its popularity.

It happened to GTA, Harry Potter, Mortal Kombat, and countless other pieces of art and entertainment in history. When things become forbidden, people seek them out and like them more.

>However, I am a moderate insofar as I will actual talk to conservatives and address their arguments
And my original point is that I have spent a long time doing this, and found that in most cases their arguments are deficient. Again, in the words of someone better than me:
What is the rationale or underlying principle of conservatism? The answer he (Ted Hondereich) gives is not just that the conservative tradition is selfish. Its self-interest, he argues, does not distinguish it from other political traditions. What does distinguish it, Honderich concludes, is that it lacks a moral principle to defend its self-interest. It is unique in its amorality.
My ultimate original point being that your original implication that conservatives and feminists both (equally) have good and valuable things to say is wrong. I don't 'hate' conservatives and i don't immediately discount all arguments by conservatives (stopped clocks are correct twice a day...), but that in general the quality of argument I have come to expect from self-described conservatives is far worse than that I have experienced from others.
My second point expanded on this to note that the idea that my views are 'warped' through some ideological 'lens' suggests that you yourself are not 'tainted' by ideology, when i'm sure you recognise that there is no such thing as 'objectivity' and that the narratives we subscribe to all form part of an ideology - regardless of how coherent it is - and that this assertion that you're somehow 'beyond ideology' (which was implied but not explicitly stated, so I certainly could have misread) is false.
And then finally, the comment you just replied to was intended to provoke, partly because i'm not done arguing but also because it was funny.
Awesome, what do you think of this pre-built in comparison? Looks like a very similar build but without the camera and with vertical rotors instead of angled ones.
