I saw a rock wraith! Like the boss at the end of DA2 act 1! Maybe the secret has to do with them or their origins, I don't think we ever got told where they came from did we?
So much excitement, this has potential for so much cool deep roads/dwarven/darkspawn lore. And why were the Inquisition fighting dwarves at one point? Possessed corpses? Legion of the Dead for some reason? It was definitely Legion-style armour, but under the helmets it looks like Darkspawn. I think my favourite idea is that they're DA:O style genlocks, and both versions are going to exist.
I'm so excited, need to go replay DA:I. And maybe the other two.
Edit: Hidden danger lurks within the Stone. Oh maker please tell me we get to know about the Stone.
This is a summary of the Bioware livestream revealing new content coming to multiplayer:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PgFe5hrkepk
You can find the bioware blog post on it here:
http://www.dragonage.com/en_US/news/dragonslayer-announced
The Black Emporium has been in the works for a while aswell and its the second free DLC, this one is single player only though. The Bioware blog post is here:
I really like the DLC model for multiplayer, in my opinion, bioware got microtransactions right. You pay for chests with either real or in game currency. You cannot get anything with real money that you cant in game. This enables all expansion packs for Dragon Age MP to be free as it was in Mass Effect 3 MP. I really hope more devs take this DLC model approach, because in my eyes, its perfect. Everyone wins. EA gets money, all players get DLC, premium players get to skip the grind somewhat.
Some much information today I can't handle it.
But Scribbles finally has a name!^andshe'spretty
Edit: And her character profiles been released. Bioware really is trying to kill me with an information overload.
Clarification on how the Golden Nug works
Mike Laidlaw wrote that "This sync is bi-directional and additive, which means that any collectibles will be added to the online collection, even if the character doing the clicking is pre-endgame. It's like new game plus...without having to start a new game."
http://www.dragonage.com/en_US/news/new-dragon-age-inquisition-dlc-and-more-coming-soon
keep in mind the game will also get PC exclusive UI :D http://www.dragonage.com/?sf32216890=1#!/en_US/news/pc-systems-requirements-revealed?utm_campaign=da-social-global-ic-tw-social-global-ic-tw-pc-specs-img-site-ramp&utm_source=twitter&utm_medium=social&sourceid=da-social-global-ic-tw-so...
He created the Bull's Chargers under orders from the Ben-Hassrath as a way to spy on Orlesian nobles, which he then relays any information back to his superiors. If you let him join your Inquisition, he basically tells you straight up that he'll report things back to his superiors, but will give you any information they may have that the Inquisition does not.
So basically he's a spy for the Qunari's spy branch, just loves living his life outside of the Qun's demands since he's been exposed to it.
Haha, I'm almost ashamed to say that I thought the same exact thing. She definitely looks different in this trailer than her look in this screenshot from a couple of months ago.
From at least a year ago until just recently. Here's an official screenshot.
David Gaider was quoted a while back has having said “I am totally side-eyeing that hair color, though. We shall see if it remains.”
Morrigan does, it's confirmed. http://www.dragonage.com/#!/en_US/characters/humans/morrigan
>Whether the dark-haired sorceress seeks to influence the Imperial throne, or harbors more sinister motives, no-one knows for certain. This Witch of the Wilds arrived in Orlais rather suddenly three years ago as the newly-appointed “arcane advisor” to Empress Celene. In this role, Morrigan presents a source of information unfiltered by religious dogma, and satisfies Celene’s life-long curiosity about magic. However, whispers carry concern of Morrigan having Celene wrapped around her finger, teaching the Empress forbidden, dark arts in secret.
Maybe make a mix of the songs and have them playing in the background? Ooh, ooh! All the tavern songs!
A dragon. I will leave implementation up to you.
Oh, helpful link!
DA:I isn't a MMO, it's a RPG.
Also, the minimum specs state 4 threads. Just cause the game is coded differently doesn't mean its coded poorly. In fact, I'd argue that a game that is well parallelized is coded efficiently instead of poorly coded since it actually uses untapped power instead of completely ignoring it. The game is incredibly intensive and can use up all 8 threads of my 4790K; people even report significant FPS boosts going up from a 4690K to 4790K.
DA websites's article on it, featuring a couple of outfits.
His actual quote was "the first fully gay character I've had the opportunity to write". The other ones he wrote were all bisexual.
I can see how it's a phrase that's easily mockable - and yes, gender=spectrum/sexuality=fluid - but I find it's not so odd in context.
Edit for source: http://www.dragonage.com/#!/en_US/news/character-profile-dorian
I don't think his sexuality is the focal point of that aspect of his character. Per the full quote, "it added an interesting dimension to his back story." I don't think the intent is for his gayness to define him. Rather it's another facet of friction in his life between himself and his past/social framework. I think the main sources of tension for him (for which he is labeled a pariah) are his social/political views. Per the main site here and here, it seems to me like his opposition to the social hierarchy and overreaching power of the Tevinter mages is the real focus of his story arc.
Edit: grammar
You can download the soundtrack on the official website, in the Media->Soundtrack Download section, you need to log in to the EA account with the game associated to it first though.
Check the dragon age website: http://www.dragonage.com/#!/en_US/characters
New bio info up. Sera is/was in Friends of Red Jenny, Iron Bull is/was Ben Hassrath, Blackwall volunteered for the Wardens and is idealistic about it.
It's in the Emerald Graves - it was part of The Great Thedas Landmark Search.
I think I have a map somewhere showing the location...
Here ya go (had to dig up an old save file). It's in a somewhat hidden cave that you have to jump on a big rock formation to get to:
http://i.imgur.com/7einF6E.png
BTW, if you're curious about The Great Thedas Landmark Search, I put up an album with the locations. It includes a few unusual locations, too:
Official announcement + Forum thread with more info.
She is named Pala, uses daggers with a mix of rogue and warrior abilities and builds guard on each hit. It looks like she starts with Throwing Blades and Charging Bull from the screenshots. She promotes like a rogue and opens rogue doors, although they're working on making her open warrior doors too.
You won't be able to play her until tomorrow. Also, don't spend your gold yet if you have any saved, wait until BioWare gives the go-ahead.
http://www.dragonage.com/#!/en_US/news/quest-for-the-red-lyrium-reapers
>To redeem your weapons pack, you will be prompted to log in to your Origin account. That's it! The Red Lyrium Reapers will be waiting for you in Dragon Age: Inquisition. Maker be with you.
Yeah, it's already in the game. Just an unlockable :)
That's fair! And as for your question- Not in the same way as Origins, where each one had a playable backstory, but each of the playable races does have a short origin background, with slight alterations between the mage and rogue/warrior ones.
You can see them here on the official Dragon Age site; pick a race and a class and at the bottom it'll show you what we're being told of each one's background; just a paragraph apiece, really. :)
Probably not just to you as not everyone is following the development as obsessively as others, but yah, this isn't news. If you go here and cycle through the races/classes, you can read the background story for each Inquisitor.
It's only a vague background that leaves you free to roleplay your Inquisitor to be pretty much anything you want, though. There won't be playable origins, and the twitch video today confirmed there won't be even any introductions as the game [](#s "literally starts with the explosion").
In a word, no
The mounts look cool but personally speaking I never used my mounts as you don't get party banter when mounted nor can you collect resources both of which will be required for best experience.
The soundtrack is cool, doesn't include the tavern songs though(but these can be downloaded here you can purchase this separately too via iTunes I think
The multiplayer chests are just standard RNG chests(i.e. you have the same chance of getting good stuff if you bought a chest using ingame currency) although I may be wrong
The Mighty Flames set look cool, but again you get so much stuff in game and can craft stuff you'll either be using it for a short period of time or get better stuff fairly quickly anyway.
Don't get me wrong the stuff you get is cool, but worth paying extra for? Depends on what you consider value. I got the Inquisitor edition so I got a whole heap of physical items(even though some were broken) so for me the digital content wasn't the main selling point
Holy shit, I'm sick and tired of hearing people they've advertised his sexuality. No they fucking didn't, there was an interview with David Gaider and a pretty lengthy one, where he talked about lots of things about Dorian, and one question, where the interviewer asked what is different for him about Dorian, and he said that it's the first fully gay character HE wrote for Bioware... And the news media just...fucking picked up on it, with titles like first fully gay character, with their fucking click baits wanting to "shock" people... They weren't fucking advertised, but fucking everyone asked only the questions as to who is going to be "romancable" by whom so they've said it... But it's not advertising.. Even if they knew that just lightly putting it out there would cause this kind of reaction it still isn't advertising... http://www.dragonage.com/#!/en_US/news/character-profile-dorian
The main thing putting a damper on it for me is the god awful character design so far
I mean, for crying out loud, this sound like it was written by a 14 year old girl
There are character backgrounds for each race, you can find them by selecting a race + class in that part of the site.
No city elves this time either, you're always a Dalish.
>[David Gaider]: Dorian is gay—he is, in fact, the first fully gay character I've had the opportunity to write. It added an interesting dimension to his back story, considering he comes from a place where "perfection" is the face that every mage puts on and anything that smacks of deviancy is shameful and meant to be hidden. Dorian's refusal to play along with that façade is seen as stubborn and pointless by his family, which has contributed to his status as a pariah.
Unfortunately, the DLC will not be available on PS3 or Xbox 360. You also need to buy the game again if you want to play on PS4 or Xbox One. There is however a save file transfer system so you can import your Inquisition save games from PS3 to PS4 or from Xbox 360 to Xbox One. Click here for details on the save import system.
>How did the Templars have them trapped? The Templars were literally on the other side of the country, at Theirinfal Redoubt.
Not all of the templars are at Theirinfal Redoubt. When you first arrive at the Hinterlands you see a lot of templars and mages fighting. Also, here is a letter to Arl Teagen that references the templars and mages fucking up shit in the Hinterlands.
>The thing to do would be to ask for protection from Arl Teagan. Who they kicked out of his own castle instead.
See above. Going to the Arl for protection did not work. I do agree that kicking out Arl Teagan was a bad move. It's implied that the venatori agents within the rebel mages were behind that though.
>Or they could have gotten into those boats and made an escape that way.
To where? Unlike the Templars, the mages don't have any safe areas to regroup. Due to centuries of chantry propaganda the average person in Thedas outside the imperium despise and distrust all things magic so it's not like the mages are likely to find popular support anywhere. It's amazing that they secured refuge in Redcliffe, but that didn't last.
>There was no reason to think that inviting a hostile foreign power into Ferelden, as thanks for the King's mercy, was ever going to get them anywhere good.
The Venatori agents within the rebel mage ranks were mostly responsible for pushing the rest of the mages to agree with the alliance. The Mages were looking for a way to survive and they assumed Tevinter, the one place mages aren't treated like shit for being mages, would provide that opportunity.
Btw, the Tevinter imperium is not a hostile foreign power, and the mages did not know what the Venatori were all about at that time. The mages letting the Venatori outmaneuver and enslave them is about as stupid as the templars being tricked by an Envy demon to take red lyrium. Both sides made big mistakes.
> My request was not at all unreasonable: tag your spoilers.
Your request is not unreasonable, your definition of spoilers is unreasonable.
The example you used consisted of names. If you went into DAI completely blind, they would be meaningless names.
If you followed any of DAI's promotional materials, you'd see that not only is Morrigan literally the first screenshot on the official site, she is listed on the characters page.
Right? I couldn't get over how much BioWare poured into this. I beat it weeks ago and I'm still thinking about how incredible it was. I wish there was more footage of other areas, cause the majority of that footage was just from the Hinterlands. The Emerald Graves is definitely my favourite environment, dem trees.
> I'll eat my second shoe if not playing DA:I MP reduces the effectiveness of your Keep's defense/offense in single player at launch.
> Will playing MP be required to get the full-game experience?
>· No. The SP campaign is separate from MP. In SP, you have the support of three specialists who can send agents to missions. MP characters are agents. At the start of a MP mission, you will hear one of the specialists explaining the goal of your mission.
> Is MP going to affect my endings in SP?
> · No. Absolutely not. Our goal with Dragon Age multiplayer is not to affect your SP campaign. We simply want to give our fans the chance to play with their friends for the first time in the Dragon Age universe.
Some reading about the Iron Bull, leads me to believe he'll be romancable (if not at least do-able) by anyone and everything. As per this http://www.dragonage.com/#!/en_US/news/character-profile-the-iron-bull
While I like the theory, I have to agree with the comment before me, that they are just showing the different factions. Also, if you look at the picture they are offering for backgrounds, you can see that they rearranged the order of the rings, moving the Tevinter ring off the ring finger.
Clarification on how the Golden Nug works
Mike Laidlaw wrote that "This sync is bi-directional and additive, which means that any collectibles will be added to the online collection, even if the character doing the clicking is pre-endgame. It's like new game plus...without having to start a new game."
http://www.dragonage.com/en_US/news/new-dragon-age-inquisition-dlc-and-more-coming-soon
The Pentium G3450 is a Dual-Core CPU, DAI needs a Quad-Core CPU according to this page.
I'm pretty sure that's your problem right there.
No, it's confusing because Bioware did a bad job of explaining these in the Black Emporium announcement. Anyone can get the Legacy Kirkwall and Legacy Ferelden thrones. They are "an added bonus" for DA1 and DA2 players because they will remind you of those games.
It contains the Deluxe Edition, which includes the DLCs. It even says so at the top of the included items on their website
Oh yeah. Extremely excited to see what's all on tap. A couple were posted, but I want more, lol. From: http://www.dragonage.com/en_US/news/new-dragon-age-inquisition-dlc-and-more-coming-soon
Here it is the official announcement linked on twitter!
On Origin in europe it's priced at 4,99€
I-Is Cassandra naked in this picture? Kinky.
Edit: So apparently the pack includes:
According to a recent online poll conducted by Bioware known as "The Ultimate Dragon Age Party": Alistair, Morrigan, and Varric were voted most popular companions across all three Dragon Age games.
Here's the website for more information
Obviously not the "end all, be all", but none-the-less a relatively accurate depiction of popular opinion.
Why don't we wait until the game is playable on a 3DFX Voodoo 5.
Dual core CPUs are going to be completely obsolete soon, it's time to get with the times. With the new consoles putting emphasis on mutli-core use dual core CPUs will just not be able to keep up for long. It's unreasonable to expect games of the size and complexity of DA:I to run on much inferior hardware. Gaming with a dual core CPU is like gaming with 2GB of ram, or integrated graphics. Every once in a while you luck out and a game works, but don't expect it to last.
And before you yell at me, it's not like anyone was deceived. The minimum requirements clearly stated a quad core is required. http://www.dragonage.com/#!/en_US/news/pc-systems-requirements-revealed
And as no one has mentioned this, it was released with the PC specs (which you can see here if you did not know) that the game is 26 GB, so your guess for the size is about right.
If you get the Trespasser DLC it unlocks a new menu branch in the options that has a list of trials that you can activate. Activating them makes changes to gameplay and you get rewards for them or something.
More info on it here
I found this: http://www.dragonage.com/en_US/news/save-importer
It doesn't work with PC yet, but they say they're working on it. If anything, you could just start over on PC and have the best version. DA:I is currently on sale for $24 on Origin right now.
But if you want to stick with consoles, you can only upgrade to the same family of consoles with your save, so a 360 save could only upgrade to an Xbox One and a PS3 save to a PS4.
Announcement + small interview: http://www.dragonage.com/en_US/news/darkspawn-announcement
Official 'trailer': https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=47QDHI54iN8
You can tell if there will be darkspawn in a zone if you hear growling after the intro speech (no new intro speech for darkspawn).
You mention there's no word on the french variation... I don't know much about the game, but if you change the website to French language, the downloads are in French...
http://www.dragonage.com/fr_FR/news/inquisition-tavern-songs-giveaway
Where do they announce these things?
Twitter and Facebook? F--k that.
If it works like the Deluxe Edition for consoles, make sure the DLC is applied on the console and Inquisition is tied with your Origin Account. Then go to http://www.dragonage.com/#!/en_US/media/soundtrack and sign in with Origin. The link to download the soundtrack will be there as a ZIP.
It says here: http://www.dragonage.com/#!/en_US/news/pc-systems-requirements-revealed that the recommended AMD GPU is a 270.
This is not a hardware problem.
EDIT: More proof: http://www.systemrequirementslab.com/cyri/requirements/dragon-age-inquisition/12360/?p=a
Goto http://www.dragonage.com/#!/en_US/media/soundtrack
Instructions:
If You Have A Console Edition Of The Game
Redeem the digital soundtrack code from your Deluxe Edition on your console.
Start the Dragon Age: Inquisition game.
Login in with your OriginTM account within the game.
At this point, authorization to download the soundtrack will be granted to your Origin account.
Log into OriginTM using the button at the bottom of this web page (with the same OriginTM credentials that you used in the game).
Click on the link to download the soundtrack
There will be no cross platform multiplayer at all for DAI unfortunately. It would be a very large selling point and they would have clarified 360/one and ps3/4 were exclusions were they in.
If you just want to see race/class/background info that can be found here but seeing how in depth the creator goes you can see here.
The first link is to the info on the official site that has more to do with basics you mentioned you wanted. Second is link to Bioware devs creating characters, which is more focus on appearance but the very start shows you what you pick in terms in of race and how the selection looks in game. (the only thing forgotten on the site that is in video is you choose weapon of class (dagger or bow, etc))
Or were you looking for something else?
Dragon Age: Inquisition does have multiplayer, just not the main storyline. It is separate quests made just for co-op http://www.dragonage.com/#!/en_US/news/multiplayer-faq
Edit: Co-op multiplayer trailer https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rpx3wuj6XMg
From what I'm seeing....Scribbles is Josephine. They just announced her today. Apparently she's Antivan...So I'm thinking she's going to have a pretty awesome accent.
That could be, yeah. I really liked Cassandra's look from DA2, and it could be attributed to the lower resolution. From what it looks like to me, they stuck with her facial structure for the most part (high, broad cheekbones, square jaw, straight nose)
I think it's in the eye and brow region for me. DA2 Cassandra had a softer eye and brow region, whereas Cassandra from Inquisition seems to have a more angular and prominent eye/brow region.
The description of the Knight-Enchanter specialization says they wield "blades of arcane force". That sounds like some sort of conjured weapon or spell, so it may not refer to physical blades (swords).
>Among the Circles of Magi, only a few mages have the strength of will necessary to focus their energy inward. Wrapped in protective magics and wielding blades of arcane force, the Knight Enchanters are rare, but inspiring sights as they lead the charge into enemy ranks.
I don't think you can... Looking at the official page for save importing, it looks like you can't import to PC, and xbox360 can only import to Xbox one, and PS3 only to PS4.
I don't know if there are any other SP rewards for playing MP. Also how do I post screenshots? I am quite new at reddit?
Sorry for the late answer, I was sleeping.
That's one huge link... It's the official article I think.
Nope, everything.
>Xenon the Antiquarian cordially invites you to experience the high-end shopping of your dreams… bring extra gold! Arent the 6800s kind of dated? Is yours even at least a 1gb? The recommended is 2gb. Check it: http://www.dragonage.com/en_US/news/pc-systems-requirements-revealed
Consider updating your graphics card.
http://www.dragonage.com/en_US/media/soundtrack The deluxe upgrade should already be on your origin account. Simply go to the website above and log in with your origin ID you use for Inquisition. Download the soundtrack and e voila! :)
They're free until Feb 9th: Link
Also includes sheet music.
Your specs are below the requirements. Check here for the requirements: http://www.dragonage.com/#!/en_US/news/pc-systems-requirements-revealed
Try running the game on the lowest settings, if you haven't already.
Try youtube? There are sites that let you rip the audio.
I really liked Sera Was Never myself.
~~e: Found instructions on how to download the soundtrack legitimately:~~
It's the armor set you got for buying the deluxe edition but now you can also buy that pack separately. You can read about it here.
EDIT a correction in wording.
So cute, it looks beautiful! Although I couldn't get over the fact that your new hubby looks like Dorian from Dragon Age Inquisition!
Magic = Mage Strength = 1h/2h Warrior Stealth = Rogue...
A battlemage would come closest to Mage with Knight Enchanter specialization.
This page shows all the race, class and specialization options.

Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get access to the weapons in the game?
The weapons pack can be obtained in the game by following these steps:
Acquire Skyhold.
You will find a quest in your Journal called “Rune Crafting” (under the Skyhold Category), and will be instructed to visit the war table to recruit the arcanist.
Visit the war table and select the “Acquire the Arcanist” operation from the top-left side of the Ferelden map.
Complete the operation and exit the war room.
Visit the Undercroft, where the arcanist will be present
With the arcanist acquired, the Red Lyrium weapons will be available in the special deliveries chest, also located in the Undercroft.
Do I need to find all of the discoverable to unlock the bonus content?
Yes, all content must be discovered and unlocked to receive the bonus content.
> Note: You can also start the Red Lyrium weapon web quest from there too. ( http://quest.dragonage.com/ )
Why is the PC version of the Inquisitor Edition less expensive in Australia?- Due to us not having the Deluxe PC Edition available in Australia at Retail, you will receive the Standard PC version in your Inquisitor Edition at a slightly lower price point. You will have the opportunity to upgrade to the additional digital content separately, when it’s available.

I mean, by just looking at it, the stuff that comes with it looks terrible. The items quality sucks, so you were not really deceived
Not necessarily. There's a Q & A on the Dragon Age website where the devs say finding the best items is possible without crafting, just crafting is there for those who want to utilize it. It's the very first question, with the rest offering a lot of nice insight.
Grumpy mcUnhelpfulpants didn't quite give a definite answer but I did some digging and found the S.Korean site here and on the bottom it says "11월 18일 출시" which basically translates to released the 18th of November.
So I'm guessing since Seul is 14 hours ahead of New York it'll be november the 18th quicker there. Which is actually pretty damn clever if we want to use the VPN.
http://www.dragonage.com/#!/en_US/characters
I actually had to look them up too, cause I've barely paid attention to the game. That being said, I actually think most of them have decent designs, in particular Cassandra, Vivienne, and Cullen look cool to me. But I'll wait for people to play the game before I make any judgements; I'm not a major fan of either Dragon Age game.
It is. It looks like a very colorful game. There's a gallery here.
I'm curious, what does it mean that there are pure whites? (not rethoric, I really don't know)
But here, the individual wearing the hat appears to be a mage. I suppose the armor won't help much, since there aren't class restrictions.
The weapon is what piqued my interest, though: could it indicate that mages will have weapons other than staves, or is it just a staff with a blade on it?
All dependent on what class that character is, I suppose.
I haven't played the games, but I get your points.
>But none of them ever explicitly -or other character- say "Hey, Ike is gay/bisex and so is Soren" so, there are fans (Mostly cis heterosexuals) wich deny their feelings (and extremely suggesting game scenes) for this reason.
This was my main point. The creators sadly have to confirm any character's non-heterosexuality for it to 'count' for some people.
Also if I can return to the 'Dorian is openly gay!!!' thing, read the original interview.
It's only one of the interesting things about the character, and even then it's mainly because it was the first openly gay character that the writer created, it was mostly a personal thing. It's the media/journalists who took it and blew it up as Dorian's main characteristic (in contrast to Iron Bull, who's bi/pan, but it's not been shouted nearly as much as far as I know).
It might very well be that it doesn't transfer even despite the publisher/dev saying that it does, as was the case with Evolve and AC Unity afaik. The upgrade promotion sort of got bundled together with the announcement of the save importer, but what stood out to me was this:
> What if I have preorder promotional items or Flames of the Inquisition items installed on my PlayStation®3 system or Xbox 360 console? PlayStation® systems: If you have preorder promotional items or Flames of the Inquisition items installed on your PlayStation®3 system at the time of the export, you can import the savegame data on your PlayStation®4 system. If you do not have the same content installed on your PlayStation®4 system, the savegame loads without it, and you must equip alternate equipment and/or armor. If you have the same content installed on your PlayStation®4 system, the savegame loads as it appeared on the PlayStation®3 system.
The way it sounds makes me think that the answer is no; DLC and multiplayer data do carry over, the latter only once.
You could try and PM /u/BioAdmiralX (BW employee, very informative comments).
DA:I is a really intensive game. Does your computer specs match the recommended settings for the game? You can find the recommended settings here: http://www.dragonage.com/en_US/news/pc-systems-requirements-revealed
And the information from your computer can be found under My Computer and properties, I believe.
I just did the free Fool's Gold quest the other night. I believe that's content.
I'm going to do the free Cat quest next.
So... wait. Is that not actual content? I also found the map to the Wolf Gear armor and have yet to craft or even buy the other new armors. But yeah, I guess they're not giving us any 'content' for free ;)
Honestly, they should just charge us $5 for this stuff. That's what everyone else does and it seems way more reasonable.
>These bigger games still lack minority representation. It is great some games allow customization. We both know minorities are not well represented in games.
Statistics. Present your evidence to support your argument. Stop with 'we both know' and 'I feel that way therefore fact.' No, clearly, you don't know.
Elder Scrolls series not only allowed character customizations, but also had plenty of races, with varying degree of skin color. Latest edition, Skyrim, is no different.
http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Races
Dragon Age series is similar to Elder Scrolls in this regard. Character customization for the primary character and plenty of diverse characters.
http://www.dragonage.com/en_US/characters
Saints Row 4 also allows character customization and side characters such as Benjamin King, Pierce Washington, Keith David, Shaundi, etc. are important to the story and belong to 'minority race.'
Diablo 3 have Asian characters (wizards) and Black Characters (witch doctors).
Grim Fandango is hailed as one of the best games to have EVER existed. The entirety of the game sets in pseudo Mexican mythology with characters such as Manny Calavera (which means candy skull used during Day of the Dead in Mexico).
Walking Dead is one of the most popular modern point and click adventures and won many game of the year awards. The main protagonists are black with diverse character lists (Middle eastern people like Omar and Christa, black characters like Boyd, Clive, etc)
I can go ON and ON. Games I have listed are extremely popular and instantly recognizable for almost all gamers.
>Once again you are using straw man arguments. I never said they were racists or used that word. I do not believe they are racists.
Then what exactly are you complaining? You are decrying lack of diversity in video games yet it isn't a race issue? If your complaint isn't about racism . . what is it?

>no less resources were used as a result of MP being a thing.
The issue isn't so much that there's less resources being used as a result of the inclusion of MP, but that there isn't more being used for SP because there's now a team dedicated to MP that could have otherwise been working on SP. Basically, there may not be any less resources being used, but there also wasn't more when there potentially could be more. For example, for DA:I the MP and SP were developed side by side. It may have been different teams, but there were DA developers working on MP. If there was no MP what would the people that did the MP be doing?
Just an FYI
The bard is Elizaveta her music is very folky I'd recommend the track called Sorry. I really can't praise Elizaveta enough, I thank Bioware for highlighting an artist who I would have never found myself
Anyway you can get the soundtrack/tavern songs below
Soundtrack included in Digital Deluxe or standalone here
See, I don't know if I would agree with you on that point.
Even slight women who are are tall tend to have broader shoulders than what we're seeing in the elves. Taylor Swift and Blake Lively come to mind. The bone structures of elves are very small in comparison to their height when taking this into account.
Legacy takes place during Act I actually, even before the Deep Roads expedition. Or so says the timeline on the official website. Source.
Edit: It also says "History is vague on when exactly this occurs." so never mind I guess. lol
Pretty sure a 660m is leaps and bounds above a 8800. Scraping the minimum specs is maybe an exaggeration.
This machine is infact more powerful than my Desktop machine which has a 660ti, quad core AMD Black and 16gb of Ram and has waaaay more trouble than this one does. Can't help but think it's not optimized right.
> Because Dragon Age: Inquisition does not support a traditional save-import feature, the Keep is how you’ll transfer your previous decisions into the game by creating your own unique world history.
From here. So did it find a save game or a world state? Because there is a default world state it uses.
And what did it say to make you think it detected the save?
All I'm saying is that UI's should be designed specifically for the device they will be running on. Not just porting it over.
Tell me why I can only see 7 items in this screen. Why not scale the type and list smaller so i can see all the items at once. Maybe then I can compare the first item with the second item. Why do i have to back out and go back into a new list to see my weapons.
This blown up scroll list is a native console design.
Its a fuckin Port!
I guess you are a huge fan of these laptops if you love these clunky console UI's on a PC. http://o.onionstatic.com/images/10/10211/2x1/1200.jpg?5982
> certain elements, like the war table, that could not be accessed in the trial.
The official Dragon Age site wrote this post on November 11th detailing 12 things you could do in the 6hr trial -- using the war table is #9.
So I wonder if there was an issue with it or if they changed their mind for some reason.
I've used only 3hrs of my trial thus far and all on multiplayer; I'm afraid of using half my trial on the character creator or something if I went single player.
From the sound of things from this Q & A, we can modify the colors of the Inquisitor and companions. Whether that is material-based or dye-based, I don't know, so someone feel free to correct me if they figured that out from the EA Access demo or a stream that covers it.
This is what happens when someone tries to be funny... but isn't...
EA is recommending 8GB of RAM for Dragon Age 3:
http://www.dragonage.com/#!/en_US/news/pc-systems-requirements-revealed
They're also recommending a Six-Core AMD CPU, or a Quad-Core Intel CPU, which, while vague in response, seems to point that the game will actually utilize more than 2 cores.
Therefore, the best CPU in OPs budget for Dragon Age 3 is the FX-6300.
Not to mention, why would you include the CX500 for $60 on Amazon, when KhaosKat listed the CX600 for $35?
Ultimately, for what you want, Bungie's build is lazy, if not laughable. KhaosKat's build is going to perform better in DA Inquisition and that's according to EA's released specs.
Multiplayer is a completely separate mode from single player, and will have no impact on single player. It is similar to the mass effect multiplayer in that you will be in a group of four (you can do it with fewer it will just be harder) and you work for the Inquisition, doing tasks that the Inquisitor is too busy for. The stream recently had them rescuing a captain sort of thing.
But the four players will be in a about 5 fairly large room dungeon style thing, with each room randomly generated so that each time you play you should have a little different experience. Another similarity to Mass Effect is that you will have a selection of classes to pick from and level up, with their Max level being twenty.
If you want to read more, the wiki might expand on the points some (and includes character list for multiplayer) and here is the official FAQ which might also be helpful.
I can't find the source I read that said something about the Dragon spotted in the Frostbacks was a Herald, but this clearly states that more than the one return. That and if you have read the Comic book series you see how the dragons returning to Thedas in mass is very plausible. ( http://www.dragonage.com/#!/en_AU/timeline/dragons-return )
It's not even on the store period as far as I can tell. The official site lists the retailers and under PS4 lists Playstation Store, but does not list Xbox Marketplace under X1 or 360. http://www.dragonage.com/#!/en_US/preorder/xbox-one
One argument against the leaked achievements being correct is this quote from the recent Multiplayer FAQ:
>There was a leak of DAI achievements with exclusive MP achievements. Is that the case?
>There will be no exclusive MP achievements.
Of course they could have had exclusive MP achievements for a while and then took them out. But this is the only time they've addressed the possible leak at all, and it's to say at least one of them is incorrect.
Yep, this is great news. It was already a day 1 purchase for me, but this makes the wait even more unbearable. And they're smartly avoiding linking any SP progress/rewards to MP, since many people disliked ME3's MP having an effect on SP. (I didn't care one way or another, but I can see why it was disliked.) Here's a link to the official MP FAQ. Answers lots of questions. http://www.dragonage.com/#!/en_US/news/multiplayer-faq
