OP, and these creaters, seem to be copying themselves with sound clips and as well as some of the art.
Honesty, this is either a huge money/karma grab and it needs to be EXPOSED SON.
You're going to be fine :) Everyday is a new day to do better and to leave your past behind. Humans always jump to the bad thoughts when we're unsure of something. If we don't think we got something right, it will always haunt us and make us scared of the impacts that it's going to have. With this said you can't change your past, but you can control your future.

To help study better I reccommed these:

Remember that grades are just a number and school is just a place.

When you learn something and take the time and effort, it will ultimately help you in the long run.

Always try your best and don't let the past impact your future :)
Really depends on your kind of workflow to be honest. I am a programmer and as a result LOVE the language specific formatting for highlighting. If you simply need something that allows you to write formatting and distraction free, I HIGHLY recommend using Noisli. It is beautiful custom mixed ambient noise and a distraction free text editor in one webapp.
>How do you people do it?
Sites:
First I do some posture exercises and then some breathing exercises and feel pretty good after that.
I use around 10 to 15 minutes and just focus on each area of my body - eyes, throat, heart, spine - if I hear any thought in my head I label the thought/emotion and then keep asking questions while also breathing.
Used to listen to white noise couple years ago, works surprisingly well actually. Sometimes I'd change tho to more natural sounds like rain/thunder or blowing wind
Nowadays prefer podcasts like the Joe Rogan Experience
Rain mood use to exist in a form that was great now they are you to download their app and pay for it. Now it's a shell of it's former self. Same for another white/background site I use to like but now they are you to subscribe.
Open on Sundays: Cafe Frühling, Klara, Mitte, Finkmüller. You can also check out some museums. Sunday next week is the first Sunday of the month and museums are free. You can check them out and may go there to work from time to time. By the way, the museus-pass is worth it https://www.museumspass.com/en
Regarding noise: listen to music or noise (https://www.noisli.com/)
I relax by using this site. https://www.noisli.com/
It has a text editor, but I like to just let it run in the background. I find a nice combination of rain, wind, leaves, train tracks, and a fan just immediately chills me out. I've tried music, but it only helps sometimes. This is pretty reliable.
If I really want to stay focus, I listen to Noisily
Pag nagsosolve naman ako ng mga equations, I listen to Gregorian Chants or Classical Piano Music (which requires me 75% focus)
Pero kung tipong I just want my focus to be at 50% I try to listen to electronica sounds, usually by deadmau5 :)
Quite nice, i never experienced the famous tingling sensation of ASMR but i quite enjoy this kind of stuff to put in the background while working/reading. I've used this one too, https://www.noisli.com/
noisli is a similar website/tool I am using since 2-3 years. You have to make an account, but then you can compose and store background noises for different situations. For example, my "productivity" noise is a mix of wind, leaves rustle, thunder (very soft), rain, and .. wind turbine. You can set the volume for each one, and I don't think I could have completed my studies without it =)
White noise. Ocean/surf sounds and woodland sounds (crickets, wind in trees) help me a lot.
Noisli is a good one, but there are so many white noise recordings and web pages and apps out there.
https://www.noisli.com/ - For background noise, you can select a few different sounds to play at one time. I have tinnitus and I let this play at night and it has really helped.
I use Noisli if I need to relax/destress. You can use it to play the sounds of the nature (water, birds, fire, storm, thunder), and other noises like whitenoise. You can mix them, and with the Chrome Extension you can set a timer too
I usually do one of the 2 things.
1) Use ambience noise. Nosili is one of my favorite since it is free :) 2) Any song will do. The catch is to put that one song on repeat for the whole day. It’s not a golden rule, I just find myself most productive doing this. This is my current song on repeat (no particular reason in term of audio structure, I just like it).
Listen to music when ever you can. Read a joke every hr. Breathe. Try and do your best. Read something inspiring before your leave for your work. After coming back write down, areas of improvements. Make it a point to write down. Get feedback from your boss. Help others.
I listen to Alan Watts & Jiddu Krishnamurti all the time while at work. Make sure you are not doing some thing with machines like driving or whatever. Then the music will be a distraction.
https://www.noisli.com/ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sYoqCJNPxv4 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-OkCwjpeiBc
I used to, mostly some soundtracks from movies or games. Nowadays I'm loving this page https://www.noisli.com/
And set it for fire sound and cafe/people chattering, making me feel like i'm in some sort of warm, cozy inn or tavern. (I write fantasy)
There are dozens of these background noise creators, though I'd like to recommend noisli as it also offers a chrome plug-in, so you can use it everywhere, Android, iOs and chrome.
I find it a lot better to eat during breaks and then just try and focus on work, it's almost a reward system for me. Musics a tough one, if I'm doing something that doesn't require me to think too much I tend to put on instrumental music otherwise the lyrics can get quite distracting but if I'm really focusing on a project I'll put on background noise (something like this https://www.noisli.com) just to block out distractions
> Mind racing. Unable to sleep. Thinking about everything, yet seemingly nothing.
Unload your thoughts onto others, or write them down before you turn the light(s) off.
Exercise before sleeping.
Listen to natural white noise/ man-made white noise and/ or binaural audio tracks as you go to sleep/ sleep.
P.S. If you decide to try out the audio tracks, just remember not to have the volume too loud, as you could end up with tinnitus. :/
Another idea: I’ve used Noisli. It has loops of natural ambient noise from rain, thunder, birds chirping, etc. and you can turn each one on or off. They even have different static noise which personally worked best for me.
I'm not a published writer, but I write for catharsis and because I have a number of dreams that keep recurring that would make alright stories.
I've found that I'm not able to listen to (most) lyrical music when writing because my brain tries to focus on my hearing, and not what's going down my arms and out of my fingers.
I'll listen to instrumentals, relaxation music, sometimes tailored to the "genre" of what I'm writing.
Other times I'll listen to white noise (usually from Youtube) or those "noise generator" sites or apps like noisli or mynoise.net. (Again, occasionally tailored to the subject. So "waterfall" wouldn't work well in an icescape, for example.)
Very rarely - late at night - I'll just listen to the silence of the house, my cats prowling in the dark, or the ceiling fan in my office and let my thoughts be the only "noise".
I used to use Noisli quite a lot (which is a really nice site), but apparently now you have to pay to use it without any restriction ): ^(It's only $10 a year, but still.)
It's a really minimalist site with a text editor and timer built in.
No sé si es ASMR, porque en mi ignorante opinión es puro sonido blanco. Pero sí, hay todo un mundo de gente grabando POVs desde locomotoras, o el CGP Grey que grabó todo su viaje desde California hasta Utah con su dashcam.
A mí me gusta Noisli :) https://www.noisli.com/
I have been told off by my compatriots that I shouldn't spread the bad naming of lake Geneva ; it is actually called lake Leman, but many people use lake Geneva which designates just the portion around the eponymous "village".
To answer your question, no, not many. In my ~4 years here, I've seen about a couple per year. And what surprises me is that there are a lot of lightnings but very few thunders. I think it's due to them being kinda far, on the other side of the lake, in the mountains. I have yet to hear series of crackling thunders like I used to back in northern Romania, or like you can hear on https://www.noisli.com/
I use https://www.noisli.com/ in work when one of those 3-hour (random non-lyrical music) things on Youtube won't do the trick.
It's more environmental, like water, wind, flames, nighttime, or even passing trains, but it's helpful.
Idk how profitable they would be but this was a reason for me to become a developer. I find satisfaction in creating things and there are things I want to make for people to use, little things like on the scale of noisli. Do you know good resources to learn about the business side of app/software development? I haven't bothered to really look into this yet since I've just been developing my technical foundation but at some point need to learn.
La mejor fuente de ruido blanco que encontrarás en tu vida. Aunque también en YouTube hay harto white noise que dura como 10 o 12 horas. A mí me gusta el de la fogata o el de tele prendida :3
I'd like to also recommend noisli.com, which is very similar but lets you layer a few more sounds.
I have a saved mix on there of low volume train noise, some rain on it and then a little whisper of cafe background chatter. I call it RainyTrainy.
I cant listen and write. I get way too into listening to lyrics or the melody itself and just stop. I usually put on some sort of mix from Noisli(there is also an app). However Najubes - feathers 1h instrumental would be a strong pick
there is a website called noisli
Improve focus and boost your productivity. Mix different sounds and create your perfect environment.
can select sounds to listen to such as a cruising train
fire crackling
water running
wind
rain/thunder
combination of the above
Have you guys heard of noisli? It has bunch of background sounds on loop and you can put a timer for how long you want it to play. You can also add variety of sounds. My favorite is the train running on rail road and campfire. Funny thing is I can’t concentrate in the track listed above cause it actually mentally makes me feel cold and reminds me of hypothermia. The campfire kinda makes me feel like my eyes are getting dry. Anyways here’s the link check it out
> I don't want to sound whiny
Perhaps in r/AskReddit or in other places, but I think there's a certain demographic on this subreddit and every non-bot user here "knows" the kind of content we can expect here. You are not whining. I want to read you, pal. I'm addicted to r/HardcoreAwww and here I am, nevertheless.
And we always say "seek help" because we can't solve everything by ourselves. If the answers they have given you aren't good enough, keep looking!!! Keep asking!! Thorough my undergrad thesis I noticed that I got "bad answers" because I was asking "bad questions". Do I really want to ask this? I don't understand this whole concept, so I shouldn't be asking something related to this, instead I should be asking to someone please explain this to me. Perhaps you could try that as well. What are the questions you are asking exactly and how much information you're providing so the others can give you a satisfactory answer.
My friend has anxiety attacks (and currently they're quite strong, she says), I recommended her to listen to white noise and see if it works. It wasn't a miracle but it did help a little. You can try that: search for a YouTube video of Fireplace 10 hours, Airplane sound 10 hours, Cat purring 10 hours, etc. and get lost in the sound. Noisli is also a good way to get lost in sounds instead of your own thoughts. It may help a little?
i've been having the same issues too man, shit sucks ode. here's some things that've worked for me tho:
sometimes, i don't even do the calendar shit and i just knock off the things on my list one by one. i use the google chrome extension noisli as a timer. it has some relaxing background sounds u can listen to while performing the tasks.
good luck fam!
Currently on hour 12 of my first migraine this month. Light and sound and taste sensitive.
I tried listening to it but after two minutes the bass thump became too much.
Noisli's Fireplace and Water Stream have been helping me pretty well today.
Thanks for sharing, I hope this helps some other folks!
https://www.noisli.com helps me - also, defining all of the task you want to complete that day and working through them. Sometimes in your down time you might be accomplishing small tasks that don’t seem important but are — at least for me, I work on a creative team so experimentation and planning are important. There is no down time.
Agreed. There's nothing that puts you in the proper place as quick as music or sounds from the genre you're trying to create. I like Noisli for this, which is mostly ambient sounds. Cool part is you can add your own sounds and there are some already great mixes that others have created (like the Harry Potter dining hall, or leaky cave). If you create a free account, you can save favorites.
If you're on the go and want to use your phone, the Relax Melodies apps are great and pretty much the same thing. Since those are on your phone, you can save favorites, too. They cost a couple bucks but well worth it IMO.
I also like to pick musical soundtracks from movies that fit the same feel as what I'm writing. for example:
My company does a weekly company-wide Deep Work on Wednesdays afternoons, where meetings are usually frowned upon. But I also block my own calendar for personal deep work. Combine that with 1 hour Pomodoro sessions and https://www.noisli.com and you're in for a productive day!
I listen to Noisli:
The thunder and sound of waves are my favourite. I love that you can choose pre-done levels of sounds for either relaxation or productivity, or you can mix and match your own. Most of my anxiety comes from not feeling productive, so this is like two birds, one stone for me.
Noisli - Free to use. The mobile app costs, but is cheap, but you can also use the mobile browser version for free. This has worked incredibly for me at work.
If I feel like music instead, I listen to Chillhop music
I feel that pain.
At work I sit inbetween someone with a loud clacky keyboard, who likes to slurp his drink and a guy who (last week) had a cold and kept sniffing and hocking.
I found that https://www.noisli.com/ helped a bit. You have to play with the noises to find one that is not too loud and just drowns out the office, but still lets you work.
I have tinnitus too, but I use it to mainly treat my hyperacusis.
Don't know how loud your white noise is, but I try to the pink noise at a volume where I don't notice it while it's on.
It blends in with other environmental sounds.
Pink noise is at the bottom left.
White noise sounds like radio static to me.
Pink noise sounds like a waterfall.
For the rosary, I've used clauses and images, both of which can be found in this great booklet. I don't use these all the time, and I experience moments like what you're talking about. In those cases, I focus on the prayers of the rosary itself. How does the OF or the HM or the Glory Be relate to the mystery at hand?
As far as getting things out of your head, such as music, I find that white noise or ambient noise has helped me. Seek more silent times in your life -- instead of having a constant stream of noise (tv, youtube, music), try to live in silence. Most of the time, I find that it eventually just goes away. I suffer from tinnitus, a constant ringing in my ears, and sometimes it is more intrusive than others.
I'd suggest noise canceling headphones and some white noise or background noise when you don't want music. I use https://www.noisli.com/ a lot, often in addition to music and it works well for background noise without it being a distraction.
I've been using Noisli with much success lately.
My computer is in the room next to my bedroom, so I just crank it up and it does a great job. Very customizable too!
It's free. You can use it directly from the website, as a Chrome extension, or have it right beside you if you own an iPad or iPhone:
https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/noisli/klejemegaoblahjdpcajmpcnjjmkmkkf
zzzzz
Nope, I was really interested in this and furious because I could only get through about a minute of it...
Edit: Misophonia coping mechanism work-around. https://www.noisli.com Play some pink noise in the background, it drowns out the lip-smacking enough to make it tolerable. :)
Edit2: Not only are we the only ones who hear it but the fact that we did pissed people off. ?? Oh, well.
I use this site all the time - https://www.noisli.com/
Combined with the earphones you could be better off, at least I hope so. If it keeps up I would casually mention 'being distracted by ambient noise' to your manager in passing. Try and guide the talk to how to work in a quieter area of the office perhaps? If you have one..
Good luck!
Spotify has a bunch of accounts with Pink or Brown noise. Also https://www.noisli.com/ has white, pink and brown noise that I like to mix with their other sounds. It's been great for my productivity this week!
