oh wait, maybe I didn't understand well what you wanted. To export MFD on a tablet, you can do that :
install https://www.spacedesk.net/ on your PC and Android to use your tablet as a second monitor, then you can export panels you want :)
Do you mean like synergy?
shares mouse and keyboard across multiple machines (virtual KVM)
or spacedesk (windows only)?
uses another machine as slave display.
try spacedesk. It's proprietary crippleware, but does work perfectly fine for me (TM), albeit at a refresh rate depending on your tablet's performance. If your tablet runs chrome decently you won't have much trouble. Its free for just one extra monitor but in-app purchase for the pro version.
Have you considered remote screen apps like spacedesk?
Or android emulator like bluestacks for running android app?
I don't think you can use helios from a remote computer natively
With "duet display" you can add an ipad as external display. OR "https://www.spacedesk.net/" its free and you can link multiple ipads, but lesser resolution works great! And in FS with alt-gr and click on a display you can open it in a new window.
Spacedesk sounds like what you're looking for. When you enable a second monitor and open it in a browser, a second monitor is created in display settings, and you can treat it like a real monitor, either on that PC or on any other device with a web browser.
I've been experimenting with a virtual second monitor on Shadow using spacedesk (https://www.spacedesk.net) as well as a USB HDMI adapter + dummy. The only SW that seems to be able to stream multiple monitors is Steam IHS. I have only used it with one monitor on the client, but it did show the extended desktop on both screens when moving the mouse back and forth. The problem is that if your server is outside of the LAN, this only works with the Steam Link HW or the Android / RPi app, none of which offers connectors for multiple monitors afaik. A possible solution is to use a client device for each monitor, one running Parsec and the other Steam. This is a bit wasteful and cumbersome, but might still beat your current solution.
If you want your tablet to behave more like a proper monitor, check out spacedesk.

It installs a driver on our Windows computer that can connect over your network to other devices and make them act like an extra monitor. Lag is minimal depending on your home network, but that won't matter if you've got a mostly static app running. When your monitors go to sleep, the display goes black and with a little screensaver bouncing around saying "monitor disabled" or something like that. It wakes back up like normal when you move the mouse.

I found it the other day trying to figure out what to do with an old smartphone and tablet, and it works really well. I've currently got an old Moto X Pure Edition shoddily sitting on top of my second monitor acting as a third, and it's plugged in all the time. If you wanna hold off on spending money, I'd definitely give it a shot!
I wanted to do the same thing as I built my VR computer with portability in mind. I crammed enough gear into this case https://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811119286 and was able to setup the system to not need a monitor to reduce carry weight. I listed some issues I ran into below:
You need a monitor plugged into the computer and detected for the HMD to work. This may have changed with Dash 2.0, I haven't tried it lately. To get around this issue I ran this: https://www.spacedesk.net/ It turns a phone or tablet into a second screen/input device. This lets you do some basic stuff outside VR, like switch games for friends that aren't used to the menus, or troubleshoot without the headset. You can run it on startup too. My computer's motherboard also has a wireless card, so I setup windows to create an ad-Hoc network when it can't find my home one. This lets me still connect my phone when I'm demoing it at a friends house without having to worry about setup. I chose this software because it activates your graphics card without having to have the monitor connected. Otherwise you will have to get one of these headless ghost plugs.
Oculus needs to run as an admin. Not sure if you still need to do this but when I tried it last I had to run all the apps involved with admin privileges otherwise I had some issues navigating desktop windows. Again, may have been solved with Dash 2. I used virtual desktop to get the screen working on boot but these days Dash 2 should be enough.
Everything works great even though these days I'm not touring around with it anymore and it's mostly a living room setup so I have the TV to use as a monitor. Everything was setup using windows task manager's startup tab as well so other then the monitor software everything was stock. Send me a PM if you get stuck setting it up and maybe I can help troubleshoot.
Cheers,
What you possibly could do is set up a WiFi access point using a router, which doesn't have to be connected to the internet. Connect both devices, and install something like https://www.spacedesk.net on them.
I know it's not exactly what you want but I think it's close.
Short gameplay on emulator cemu 1.12.0d. Cemu gamepad-view streamed to a tablet through spacedesk.
Is the WiiU expereience on pc complete ?
The game runs pretty smooth on 25-30fps 1440p, but OpenShot sucks and produces lags in the video and i'm not good at video editing.
Spacedesk has a litte delay, but for the map, its ok.

Virtual displays exist, such as ones that let you wirelessly connect a phone screen and make your phone extend your main monitor, and Windows will treat your old phone as a different monitor. https://www.spacedesk.net/
These run on Android or IOS. I use spacedesk already.
I haven't found anything that runs on a Windows OS and can collect the information from the game on another Windows PC. I have a very old laptop that I was thinking about repurposing.
what i have done was sideload the spacedesk apk file and installed the spacedesk app/drivers on my windows 11 machine https://www.spacedesk.net/ and then i sideloaded relay for reddit
all so i can browse reddit 3 times at once
Hello,
No I haven't found unfortunately how to remove the black bars in HDMI.
The workaround I use, is using the free app "Space desk" https://www.spacedesk.net/
It allow me to use it as a monitor through WiFi, and without any black bar :)
Spacedesk is great, pretty much takes your phone and turns it into a touch screen second monitor. I use this on my main PC to connect to my other headless PC. Also used it for system monitoring, just put Afterburner and coretemp windows on it.
So I have just installed 4 old monitors from recycling on each side of my very old 40" lcd.
I thought I was going to install lazycast and use mice.py to connect all 4 of these monitors up to windows over ethernet.
Only issue, windows will only connect to one "wireless" monitor at a time !
So like this, I have one monitor that is now an extension of my windows desktop.
For that one monitor, it works GREAT ! no detectable lag, I can play video and games on that monitor it is the same as a display port monitor (only a tiny bit of quality loss)
I setup the software called barrier on both raspberry pi, so I can move my cursor on any of the monitors at any time. Keyboard follows the mouse focus.
I checked out the software called "spacedesk", it seemed promising but it basically doesn't work with Raspberry pi os.
Only a VERY slow html5 viewer is available and it is unusable :(
Are there any alternative ?
(I can't directly connect these monitors due to my video card is blown. I also tried hdmi usb display dongles but, doesn't work, I used the startech ones, just won't work !)
You can use Spacedesk to use your Android tablet as a monitor for your PC, but it needs to be connected via USB and it doesn't have any functionality other than being a monitor.
https://www.spacedesk.net/#download
You can install a Remote Desktop app on your tablet to connect to your PC over wifi. It won't be great, but it will do what it says.
I'm sure others can recommend some other tools.
You can use Spacedesk but the performance isn't great- it's meant more for using your tablet as a second screen for your laptop (super handy) but you can also use one Windows computer as a screen for another. It's free https://www.spacedesk.net/
Duet Display - I've not used this personally, but it supposedly allows desktop to desktop connections. It doesn't explicitly say that it supports wired connections, but I see no reason why it wouldn't.
SpaceDesk - Another option, and has a few more features, but I believe this to be Windows focused for the host machine.
Check out SuperDisplay. It has a free 3-day trial so you can try it out before making a purchase.
An alternative (and free) is spacedesk. From my experience, it's not as responsive/good as SuperDisplay.
I use Spacedesk. It uses your wifi network to use a tablet or phone as additional screens. You would need to dl the desktop app that creates the server, and ofc the mobile app to connect to that server.
Big caveat though. The slower your tablet is, the worse this will work. I tried to use an old tablet from like 2014, it was very slow, but I bought an Amazon budget tab for like 100 bucks and it works without noticeable lag.
No worries, I guess you may try space desk. 1. Space Desk server on recording PC. 2. SpaceDesk client/app on Surface.
It will work via Ethernet.
To simplify WiFi vs Bluetooth, data rate & range of WiFi is much better than bluetooth. Yep, you will find many $2 USB WiFi adapter on newegg.com - though, you won't have to buy WiFi if Spacedesk works.
But its already Friyay here.
Other Option that could work is https://www.spacedesk.net ( if they ask me to build a video wall / Media wall )
might be able to side load the app on an android tv - but i dont know about sound and might be more clunky.
i dont know, if it helps or is useful for your case, but i use my ipad 8 as a second / third monitor. using spacedesk ==> https://www.spacedesk.net/ . works even with 60fps as an extended desktop.
You can either get an HDMI capture device (I have a Genki Shadowcast, works great) or go the software route with something like Spacedesk that works over the network, so it will depend on how both are connected.
You can likely do it with https://www.spacedesk.net and your iPad, since the iPad only needs a web browser to be the second screen (ie. nothing to install on the iPad). I use it this way with a laptop.
I got the Spacedesk website to work by switching to the German version then back to English from there. Just seems like they've misconfigured something and haven't noticed since they don't use the English version of their own site.
Using an app called "Spacedesk" in order to get my phone to act as an extra monitor. The "launcher" is a modified version of my "Gates Launcher" and the awesome clock/ date is Paper thing
oh and on the front page of their app
"Hi Hxarh, no internet connection required to operate spacedesk. It just need to be in the same network(WAN,LAN), via hotspot or USB tethering. Please check section "Performance Tuning" here: https://www.spacedesk.net/user-manual#performance-tunning For further questions, please contact spacedesk support: https://www.spacedesk.net/contact/"
I think what you're looking for is either Zonescreen, which i think is abandoned, or https://www.spacedesk.net/ multi-monitor-app-desktop-extension-screen-virtual-display, which works remarkable well and even works with android. It essentially makes a virtual adapter that you can connect a viewer client to... which i'm sure you could probably run multiple or even just the secondary computer can mirror one screen that the client is on
You could try spacedesk, but it would be using another computer, tablet, or phone as a monitor as opposed to the other monitor you're trying to hook up. https://www.spacedesk.net/
