Sauf que ce n'est pas une blague. Les traducteurs utilisent une interface comme celle-ci qui propose en option une traduction automatique où le traducteur n'a qu'à valider chaque mot ou phrase. Ici il a sûrement validé la liste des pays en bloc sans regarder le détail.
Man, calm down with the language stuff. We just discussed this.
CDDA is literally translated to "23" languages (honestly, looks more like 11 actively), so cut people slack for learning a language other than their own, and taking the time to share their enjoyment of the game with others.
Sadly, it's quite hard to translate DF because there is no .txt archive with all the words and sentences.
But it exist a multi-language project to translate the game:
https://www.transifex.com/dwarf-fortress-translation/
The place is quite a mess but it's very easy to join and participate, it doesn't require programming skills and you only have to translate the text.
The Russian version is finished (they are just checking translations), the Portuguese (Brazil dialect) it's nearly ended, and in my case I'm helping with the Spanish (it is at 40%).
In just 1 week, lovely community contributors managed to translate BTCPay Server official website in 24 languages.
If you'd like to translate it into your native language, join the translators crew https://www.transifex.com/btcpayserver/btcpayserver-website/
We also have checkout page translation here https://www.transifex.com/btcpayserver/btcpayserver/
Hi, you can start with translation of BLK wallet here: https://www.transifex.com/projects/p/blackcoin/ You need to create a new account and request to join our group. I'll grant you an access. We currently have 291 untranslated strings waiting for you:) Let me know if you need any additional help
If you can speak Japanese, please join us as a translator!

Yes, I am the concerned mod who went on a vaccation and delayed the translations. Kudos to kumarldh for staying on my case and ensuring that the translations are pulled in. If you are willing to help, here is the project page: https://www.transifex.com/projects/p/reddit/language/hi_IN/
Register for an account and start translating. As a reviewer, it would be my job to review these translations. Hopefully, I will be able to do a better job from now on.
Cataclysm: DDA has a project on Transifex which is used for translating the game. More information is available in TRANSLATING.md.
Hello. This is my first app. Comments, suggestions and concerns are welcomed.
I am looking for kind souls to help me translate the application into other languages. If you are interested please look at https://www.transifex.com/projects/p/medicalid/
Moien! I think it was /u/pa79 who started something a while back, but I can’t find the thread anymore. It’s 19% done on Transifex, lb.reddit.com still doesn’t look very Lëtzebuergesch though. You can probably use the German as a reference in many cases.
Excellent! Please head over to Transifex, create an account, and request to join the Japanese language team for the reddit project. From there, you can translate via their web interface. Please let me know if you have any questions.
Shattered Pixel Dungeon, wird zb hier übersetzt: https://www.transifex.com/shattered-pixel/shattered-pixel-dungeon/
Die brauchen wohl aktuell niemanden mehr für Deutsch, aber vielleicht findest Du da andere interessante Projekte.
Dir noch gute Besserung.
It's everything related to adapting the game for another country. Art, animations, etc.
Source: https://www.transifex.com/blog/2021/video-game-localization/
But that doesn't mean that everything should be adapted. One aspect of localization that never felt right to me is translating a Japan-based game's voiceovers. It just doesn't feel right when I play it in English. Nier Automata is a good example of that since it just feels like a different game with English voiceovers. The characters don't feel the same. But that's just a personal thing.
I was going to say that's never an option but it's not entirely true actually, 0AD has a 85% complete Greek localisation. So really, like with operating systems, I always use the English locale.
But since most people will be concerned with AAA titles and not opensource games, there as far as I know, only a handful are ever translated in Greek. I think my siblings at some point had a Greek version of a FIFA game on the PlayStation. When I was a child, there were no localised games, that's why we were motivated to learn English.
Thanks for the suggestion. Wallets seems quite easy, will look into it too.
Found Samourai Wallet and requested both languages. Will join if they'll add them. https://www.transifex.com/samourai-wallet/samourai-wallet/
Can you point me to Zap, please? Or some other (preferably) open source wallet on transifex?
Quick update: the link automatically redirects to the correct page on mobile, but the desktop site still isn't displayed correctly.
Using the link https://www.transifex.com/darkest-pixel-dungeon-localization/darkest-pixel-dungeon-localization/
rather than the original https://www.transifex.com/darkest-pixel-dungeon-localization/
seems to work, however.
Hi, I am not involved in the development of the mod at all, but here is the link https://www.transifex.com/special-surprise-pd/sps-translate-program/dashboard/ You will have to create a transifex account or use any of your existing social media accounts (facebook / twitter / linkedin / google, not reddit unfortunately) to see all the details and add content though. Me and u/Noodlemire have written the SPS-PD wiki pages and he has also edited some english translations in transifex, so if you plan to edit the english text in transifex, you might want to communicate with him.
It would be very much appreciated if you could help translate Bitsquare/bisq. We're using transifex: https://www.transifex.com/bitsquare/bitsquare/ German is the only language at 100%, so there's lots of room for you to help. Thanks!
I translated for several open source projects at http://www.transifex.com, which is a useful site for that purpose in my opinion, that way you could get help from more people without needing a schedule. I'm not a professional though, but would consider my skills as solid.
edit: I forgot to say, that your project has to be open source to be free of charge (https://www.transifex.com/customers/open-source/).
Also, what I thought about, there's another way you can show your translation skills for potential donors. The lighthouse project itself comes in different languages, someone just needs to translate the 216 strings.
And that way people who prefer Russian over English could use lighthouse easier and donate to your campaign to get even more Russian Bitcoin awesomeness...
Moltes gràcies per compartir-ho! Un lloc semblant és: https://www.transifex.com/connect/projects/
I sí, de «gràtix» només el que és lliure :P
El percentatge que prota Reddit en català no està gens malament :)
I've successfully used Transifex. When the app updates, upload the YAML file. Translators then work in a web environment, and you can export the resulting YAML when they're done.
I was able to use it for free as an open-source project, but commercial projects require a bit more cash.
btw, there is a glossary on Tranisfex for common terms. The suggestions come from this glossary so you might want to check it to see if the correct Arabic translations are showing up.
That's awesome, just go to our Romanian Tranisfex project and start translating!
If you have any questions about the context, tag it as an issue in Transifex. Someone will help you out. If you know how to use github, searching for the string can also help figure out the context.
Just an fyi, we need to make a style guide, but most of the reddit specific terms like "reddit", "subreddit", "downvote", etc are usually lowercase.
let me know if you have any other questions!
You don't need to download anything, the translation is done online on transifex.
Here is a getting started guide. If you have any other questions, let me know!
I am sincerely glad that my example inspired other people like you to translate other versions into other languages BTW I'll give u link to the transifex site where you can start translating: https://www.transifex.com/darkest-pixel-dungeon-localization/darkest-pixel-dungeon-localization/dashboard/
For more information you need u/Egoal discord.
there are a lot of side projects looking to translate it to various languages. https://www.transifex.com/dwarf-fortress-translation/dwarf-fortress/
I don't believe there is a universal program yet though.
The game has a publicly available translation community. Anyone is welcome to contribute there: https://www.transifex.com/shattered-pixel/shattered-pixel-dungeon/
It looks like Russian is fully translated though. Those translations will get added in v0.9.1a
I think he mentioned this in one of the relatively recent video interviews, I’ll try to find the mention of it. My recollection is that it was difficult and not going to be in the first pass.
There’s an existing third party attempt at it though: https://www.transifex.com/dwarf-fortress-translation/dwarf-fortress/

Thanks Bitusher. Checked btcinformation and ended up at Transifex page https://www.transifex.com/btcinformationorg/btcinformationorg/
Happy to start again and requested both languages. Than I realised nothing is translated, to any language. Is the project still running?
Using Transifex (for the first time) was really easy and great experience. I'm more afraid of using GitHub but not sure how it works and will have to read about it a bit I guess.
Note: to instead this version, player should uninstall old sps-pd. Because of that, hunter and challenges is unlock at the start.
In this version, new monster skins is ready for players, and player can check some skin info at the skin choose windows.
I also add a new plant, instead of old nut and vegetable drop. For now, there are 4 type of vegetables, and all of them dropped by use seed. Two plant, upgrade eater and transform now works like bland fruit: they drop fruit, with another special item (same as old plant effect).
It also have some bug fix, but I'm sure that is not all.
Thank you for for playing.

If you're bilingual you can contribute to the translation of Bitcoin Core https://www.transifex.com/bitcoin/bitcoin/
You can answer questions at /r/BitcoinBeginners or #bitcoin IRC-channel.
Use bitcoin related software and send bug-reports and issues.
Signal's localization is handled mostly by volunteers on Transifex. Currently the Tamil translation team appears to have one coordinator, zero reviewers and 15 translators. If you want to help with translation/reviewing, join the team and ask the coordinator to promote one or more of the current translators to reviewers.

Hey fellow Warfork and AFPS lovers,
We're still hard at work on our project roadmap and filling volunteer roles as needed. I just wanted to thank everyone for their patience. Just a reminder the game is currently in Early Access so things won't be too exciting for the time being.
I would also like to let the community know we're looking for translators to help with the localization of Warfork. If you would like to contribute join our discord: https://discord.gg/VY95TKZ and chat in #warfork-localization. Please direct any questions to adem#7112. The translation project is hosted on Transifex: https://www.transifex.com/team-forbidden-llc/warfork/
Languages we're looking to translate Warfork to:
Arabic Bulgarian Czech Danish Dutch Finnish French German Greek Hungarian Italian Japanese Korean Norwegian Polish Portuguese Portuguese - Brazil Romanian Russian Simplified Chinese Spanish - Latin America Spanish - Spain Swedish Thai Traditional Chinese Turkish Ukrainian Vietnamese

Love the motivation!
For this particular issue (page translation) we'll likely be using a combination of pre-built translation platforms/services and our own code. So no need for translations here.
However, we do work with Transifex for in-browser translations (menus, buttons, etc). If this interests you, message me directly and I'd be happy to provide some additional information on how you can contribute translations using Transifex.
Afaik it is usually a work in progress, starting with 0% translated and working towards 100%. So your question cannot be answered that easily.

u/globalchain asks: Where is localization in terms of lowest hanging fruit? Looks like there are always strings that need to be translated. https://www.transifex.com/brave/brave-laptop/ What are current low hanging fruit that will drive adoption without much dev work? u/alex_the_brave
Where is localization in terms of lowest hanging fruit? Looks like there are always strings that need to be translated. https://www.transifex.com/brave/brave-laptop/
What are current low hanging fruit that will drive adoption without much dev work?
What phrases "Ad-block", "Faster", "Rewards", "Privacy" etc.. seem to be the most effective for user acquisition and is there a push to build and market Brave to cater to that?
Thank you!
Okay realized which link you're referring to https://www.transifex.com/bitcoinorg/bitcoinorg/language/sr/
There are numerous sections to translate. The main site section called YML bitcoin.org is at 100%, the others are for developer documentation.
Languages are often not updated to fit the most recent release of the software, so maybe they are waiting for a more dedicated translator team.
You can see the progress on translations of different languages on Transifex https://www.transifex.com/bisq/bisq-desktop/
IMHO there are no free offline CAT tools worth using. Sorry. sure, you can find OmegaT and Across, but DO stay away from them.
You can check https://www.transifex.com/ (I have taken part in several projects via Transifex and it was quite usable) and https://www.wordfast.net/?go=anywhere they should still be free (to certain applications) and have a look here: http://translatorthoughts.com/2016/08/top-three-free-cat-tools/
Join the translation project on https://www.transifex.com/cataclysm-dda-translators/cataclysm-dda/. There are only about 200 strings untranslated into Polish right now. 99% has been translated in the past few months by just three translators, mr_sep, somot and NeoNv2, as far as I know.
My bit of word-of-mouth has garnered interest (I live in Japan), but we need to get it fully accessible. Anyone with the ability and time (which I no longer have) can go here: https://www.transifex.com/reddcoin/reddcoin/
Even picking away at it will help (I'll be available again come summer).
Back when I actually had time, I spent a good bit of it translating the client into Japanese. This was about a year ago and it's still at 31%: https://www.transifex.com/reddcoin/reddcoin/
I am a non-native speaker, and did my best, but getting a client released fully in Japanese would be a huge step if you've got some spare time.
*edit - I was unsure what to do with "Reddcoin" itself. When I see "Bitcoin" in print in Japan, it seems to get equal time English and phonetic spelling. Thus, I used "レッドコイン" quite a lot as it was something new and unfamiliar. Should I have been using "Reddcoin" instead?
It would be very much appreciated if you could help translate Bitsquare/bisq.
We're using transifex: https://www.transifex.com/bitsquare/bitsquare/
German is the only language at 100%, so there's lots of room for you to help.
Thanks!
Here is original English text and if you or someone else want can help me translate our Google Play description on Polish: https://www.transifex.com/pixbros-studios/angry-fly/ Send me your email to add you as translator. Thank you!
Thank you! I make some edits based on your translations. Here is original English text and if you or someone else want can help me translate our Google Play description on Swedish: https://www.transifex.com/pixbros-studios/angry-fly/
Thank you! What do you think of text in Google Play description and screenshots, are they good and understandable?
Here you can see original English text and if you want can help me translation our Google Play description on Chinese: https://www.transifex.com/pixbros-studios/angry-fly/ Send me your email to add you as translator. Thank you!
Maybe I'm late to the party, but perhaps it would be an idea to put the translation efforts on one of those platforms for exactly that? This would make it very clear if someone is already working on a translation, and it eases things considerably when multiple people are working on the same translation. Also, translators wouldn't have to master editing of json files, let alone doing PRs on Github.
Bitcoin Core, the Android Bitcoin Wallet, Armory, OpenBazaar, and others use Transifex, which is also my personal favourite.
Soon you'll have the option, maximum readability or better art style.
Also, anyone is welcome to help translate through the transifex website: https://www.transifex.com/shattered-pixel/shattered-pixel-dungeon/
> And I prodly know 5 of them
Marathi, Hindi, English & ... ?
You can volunteer as a translator on Reddit if you want. Here's the link to the project -https://www.transifex.com/projects/p/reddit/ (Link seems to be broken)
Need be you can pm /u/Envia (hope you don't mind me tagging you randomly), she has volunteered as a translator for Reddit.
Here is where you contribute to translating Bitcoin Core: https://www.transifex.com/projects/p/bitcoin/
People in any country can mine, run their own nodes, and vote with their CPUs. They have exactly as much ability to participate in the system as anyone else. The math works the same for everyone.
This week is an excellent time to help with translations! You can look up the projects here: https://www.transifex.com/tag/xfce/ and join at https://www.transifex.com/organization/xfce/. Not sure who the contact point for Spanish translations is though.
Nice idea. There are platforms for croudsourcing localization of software/websites like Transifex. If there is an API for accessing their data one could automatically generate decks.
In case of Firefox a quick search revealed l10n.mozilla.com, which might serve as a basis for the automated generation of a deck, too.
/edit: here's a repository that seems to contain l10n data for mozilla products
I used a SAAS service in the past. https://www.transifex.com
It does pretty good and will allow you to export the file in a php array just as Laravel expects.
The UI is a clunky and hard to figure out but it suited our purpose.
As it's a paid service I'm not sure thats what you are looking for but may help.
First, register here and download these two translation files: Woocommerce Admin and WooCommerce Frontend, you only need to select them and download. https://www.transifex.com/projects/p/woocommerce/language/es_ES/
Access FTP and upload both files to the following folder, if you can't find it just create it: wp-content/woocommerce/languages
Add this tag to the wp-config.php file: define(‘WPLANG’, ‘es_ES’);
Open Wordpress again, your WooCommerce is now translated!
*Note, this translation is for Spanish from Spain.
Arabic translation for Bitcoin core is at 54% according to https://www.transifex.com/projects/p/bitcoin/
You can see the translations if you sign in, they might be helpful. I searched for "coin control" and I couldn't see any translation, but I don't really know what I'm looking for, you might be able to find it.
I translated the Icelandic here at ( https://www.transifex.com/projects/p/reddcoin/ ) and it was amazingly fun. It was nice to be little Iceland and ahead of the big nations. But when I am finnish translating and reviewing then everybody stopped working in this. It would be nice if you people would finish this, This would definitely help Reddcoin Society!! Here is a little motivation https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VZ2HcRl4wSk
As far as implementation, if you're using a framework/cms then look for a plugin/module/bundle to handle the functionality or roll your own.
The company I work for has been using Transifex for translations. They have a pretty nice web app for managing the translated strings as well as a git/git lit command line tool.
Please see this link: https://www.transifex.com/projects/p/bitcoinorg/
And thanks in advance if you can help contribute. You will help the entire bitcoin ecosystem with your translation, and ultimately you as well.
> Django does already include a large number of translations
Yes, but unfortunately the not all of them are correct :/
For example in Afrikaans, the lowercase month name may
was translated as the verb, and not the month name. There are also a few other ones.
I have signed up to https://www.transifex.com/projects/p/django/translate/ to correct these translations, but I'm not sure how often these translations are added to Django.
Edit: PS, your Django Rest Framework is great!
Yes, for sure. I will also add your name in our acknowledgements section if you wish.
Thank you to be voluntary.
To know how to translate, please look at the link below:

That's great! Just join our Transifex project and you'll be able to start translating!
Please read this translating guide as well.
That's great!
If you haven't yet, sign up for Tranisfex and you can start translating in the Malay team! :)
If you have any questions about the context, just tag it as an issue in Transifex. Someone will help you out. If you know how to use github, searching for the string can also help figure out the context.
Please read the getting started guide, as it has some important information. Additionally, please also look at the glossary and fill it out so there can be consistency in the translations.

Yep, it's going to take awhile to the correct translation to get pushed onto the site. If you go to the transifex page you should be able to see the new translation.
It looks great! You are now a reviewer for Estonian! Use that power responsibly. :) Try finishing the translation of the language before reviewing it!
Thanks for the report /u/hamsterbee!
You can check out the corrected translation on Transifex. If you are good in Russian and English, consider joining the community effort to help translate reddit!
That's great! If you could follow the Pre-requisites/application guidelines and post them here, that'll be great!
Many. But hardly two or three are active. We do not want to impress anyone or please anyone. You are not happy, fine, ok. We just want to translate interface in Hindi. As accurate as possible.
When new translations are uploaded? I'm not entirely certain. One of these might do it - "resource modified" maybe?
If it would help, I could experiment with creating a "release" every time I upload a new set of source strings.
If you haven't already, head over to the reddit project page on Transifex and request to join that team. If you're willing and qualified, we can also always use more reviewers
There is a glossary of commonly used words along with their translation. Please use (and improve if needed) this glossary so that we don't have the same common word translated in 5 different ways.
Conversational tone is best. You should make a post on the discussions tab for the team in Transifex - and then post the discussion link here in /r/i18n for extra visibility.
Also, the Korean team needs reviewers: if you feel you qualify, fill out an application. Translations can't go live if they've not been reviewed :(
Hi! Jump over here and you can join the Dutch team and fix those directly.
I definitely appreciate the offer and look forward to a few new, better translations :)
