Ah, don't sweat it. If you want to make memes then use mematic or Meme Generator Free (I use that one personally, but it does have a few ads) and if you're on android get the background eraser app https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.handycloset.android.eraser, I use this as well. So yeah that should help.
For erasing the background I use an app that is very suggestively called Background Eraser and for adding images and text to a background I use an app that is, again, very suggestively called Add Text
Yeah if you add an app to your screen and then hold it you can edit the icon to a picture.
If you use an app such as background eraser you can delete the background of a picture and then use that as an icon.
There are apps available on the Google play store known as Background Eraser. You could select any picture and remove the parts that you don't want to make the image like the one you have shown. Eg. You could take the image of any watch and remove the hour, min and seconds hands.
That would increase your scope for the images.

Use Background Eraser on them. A lot of "transparent" PNG's I download, tend not to actually have an alpha (transparency) channel
Don't know man. But I use these two apps, they work together and you can seamlessly switch between them. One is like clip drop but with more control, one is a photo merge.

The UI isn't the most polished but it works well. Gives you options for threshold and smoothing and all that. Probably much better than a totally automatic app.
Also, on a slightly different but similar note, touch retouch is a great object removal/clone tool app. But you probably already know about that one.
it's pretty easy to do it with this app just paint the car a neon color and it will work just fine. Although Idk for iOS.

Use Background Eraser on the image to make transparent the area you want. I've done this with a small number of my images and use a Shape behind the image to fill the transparent areas with color as needed.
I used this and it seems to work I think.
Use Background-Eraser to crop the image and use PicsArt to do further edit. That how i make my meme the whole time

This one might be the best of all.
Simple and small
Since there's such a high contrast between the orignal background and the sparks this background eraser app was able to automatically get rid of the background
Then to cover up any mistakes I just put the 3 characters on top of a blank preview screen using Picsart
If would like to know how I done this on my phone: (Note I'm not a professional)
Step Zero. Must have an android.(Unless these apps are also on IOS I'm unsure..)
Step one. Find background that you'd love to use.
Step two. Find some pictures you'd like to make transparent of the background.
Step three. Download this https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.handycloset.android.eraser (This will take some time but once you understand it, it is easy! I use to make assassin logos all the time from my phone & other things with this and the next one I'm about to tell you about lol)
Step four. Download this https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.handycloset.android.photolayers (This allows you to place a background and then add whatever pictures you want added into it)
Step Five. Use some sort of editing app that gives you your effect you want of the picture(such as filters or brightness, etc)
Step Six. You're done!!

This is an eraser app I found. You can erase backgrounds and such, and it saves it as a transparent PNG. It's perfect for this game.

Ok here we go! What I did first was I had a general idea of what I wanted the video and scenes to look like.
Then I went to create my scenes. I used Google to find all of my images. Some images needed to have transparent background. If possible try to get them from Google but if you can't find the image that you want with a transparent background. You can manually remove backgrounds of images with this app https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.handycloset.android.eraser . Once you have all your images in a single folder. You can put them in a drawing app. This way you can draw over and do minor edits to the images. I used Sony Sketch (no longer available in play store) but any drawing app that allows you to put images in will work.
Once you have created your images you need sound to go along with them. I used a Russian folk song called Russian Winter as the music. I used that track because it sounded isolating and lonely just like Alex. I used that track to point out how much of a loser he is. For most of my sound effects I used https://freesound.org/ and http://soundbible.com and YouTube.
Ok now that you have all of your assets it's time to plop all of them into a video editor. There are two main video editors for android, Power Director and Kinemaster. Power Director is easier to use and has better stock transitions and effect. But Kinemaster allows to have more control and multiple video tracks. It really depends one what you prefer and what you want to do.
For this project I did nothing fancy I just used the pan and zoom tool. I also used the blur transition. For the first two scenes (house and stairs) I just mainly zoomed in. I did this because I wanted to make it look like you are walking into house and down his stairs to his dungeon. For the last two scenes (todo list and alex) I also mainly zoomed in. I did this for a different reason, i wanted to focus the viewers attention on the todo list and and alex. I used the blur transition for these four scenes because I wanted it to make it look like on continuous and seamless zoom between scenes. On Kinemaster you want to use cross fade because blur isn't available. For the rest of the scenes I did really care about how it zoomed of panned. I just played around with the tool till it looked good. I didn't use any transition effect for these scenes because it wasn't needed.
For exporting I did 1080p because 4k crashes the app. I did high bitrate because I wanted it to look good. And I used 24 fps because I wanted it to feel like a movie.

Well I do it in the most inefficient way but here are the apps that I use: 1- Background eraser (#BackgroundEraser : https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.handycloset.android.eraser ) to erase what I don't want. 2- Picsart (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.picsart.studio) and now add the photo in it ,then press " cutout " and reselect the photo with it and save it as a sticker in the app and BAAM use it on other pictures.
