The bounty hunters' apprentice
My first PS ever, made on my Note 8. I know its garbage, but I figured I would start somewhere while I get used to the software
Edit: Idk if links outside the PS is allowed but I've had a lot of people asking what software I used, so here it is
We didn't have a 'karma score' (thanks, Slashdot) in mind from the start, but once we added voting it was clear that we needed some way to encourage people to keep submitting thing and a leaderboard with karma scores was the solution.
(This was a much more novel thing back in 2005). People would tell us the site was broken within minutes because they could tell their karma scores hadn't changed fast enough - they were obsessed with it.
Had to do it u/MedRogue there is no such thing as too poor for photoshop.
I'm pretty sure he meant using the polygonal lasso tool in photoshop to cut out manually. Besides the pen tool, that's your best bet if you're working with a mouse.
I wouldn't recommend paint for this purpose. If you don't have Photoshop, this online editor is what I would recommend and it has the tools to do the cutout.
fun fact: the phrase "worst episode ever" came about when a fan posted it in an alt.tv.simpsons group post. the writers thought it was funny and represented over-attached fans, so they gave it to comic book guy.
Just to clarify I didn't post that image. but I have done a bunch of 3d from 2d animation. I just finished a doc that was full of them, there's an example at 1:10 in this trailer
Edit here's a better example from the same doc So in this case I cut out the drummer, and the two guitarists. If you look closely you can see the curtains behind the guitarist to the right is all wavy because I had a hard time cloning the curtain behind where he originally was in the photo.
Not bad, if you don't have access to Photoshop consider the free alternative, GIMP.
It's basically open source Photoshop. It can do 99% of everything Photoshop can do once you have all the rights plugins and such.
WIP but I'm completely stumped on how to extend the coat under his legs. When I use the clone stamp tool (this is the first time I've used it) it copies the actual layer after I have stamped the sufficient area, as opposed to just the section that was alt clicked. I don't think this was happening when I used it to cover where his arm was. Any ideas? Figured I'd do the other side tomorrow as it's kind of late.
The oldest place I've found it is back in 2008 on some russian site
(The link is to the Tineye results)
Some madman went and ported the GNU Image Manipulation Program (GIMP, free Photoshop alternative) to Android. Yes, it's a full desktop app on a phone.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.dandroidmobile.xgimp
I used this app, nothing impressive, the first app I could find on the fly, I am sure there is something better if you wanna do some more digging, this solely does copy and paste and auto processing, https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.eabdrazakov.photomontage
There was a reddit AMA recently about a guy who created a free, browser photoshop style editor you may be interested in
Tons of FAQ directions of how to use it by the guy too
Here's the internet archive link. The original is the forth parent-level comment from the top.
no, no, I didn't think you did. You have create creative instincts, and I love your shops.
This previous one won the Operation in 2015, and a PSBattles annual award, and was got some serious internet. coverage features in magazines, and blogs world wide. So, a lot of traffic to that operation. It's unusual to get that kind of score for sure.
Please don't tell me that took you 3 hours. I commend you for sticking with it that long, but please do yourself a favor and pick up paint.net - you can thank me later!
It looks like it's Geofrey Ricardo
Found it by searching by image with Google
I'm on Android so I use the intuitively named Photo Editor.
It's no Photoshop but it has a good few basic functions that are easy to use.
I saved a couple of links from the Queen visiting the Game of Thrones set battle.

Yeah man, they're already selling it on amazon. :(
For this one I used an app called "Cut Paste Photo Seamless Edit", honestly just sounds like a bunch of buzzwords tossed together:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.eabdrazakov.photomontage
Particularly impressed by the fact that it works to blend the overlayed image to a degree but idk I'm sure some professional editor is screaming at me behind a keyboard.
Unfortunately it requires a previous purchase of Photoshop CS3 or later
>Adobe today announced its Photography Program, which for $9.99 per month offers photographers who own a previous copy of Photoshop (starting with CS3) access to a “lite” version of Creative Cloud with Photoshop CC and Lightroom 5
Still a nice deal, though.
I used this wallpaper as my starting point for my underwater holiday card which I am sending to my random match in the Reddit Holiday Card Exchange. My wife and roommates also made their own cards with their own theme.
Here's my final image: http://i.imgur.com/4X8MS.jpg
And, if you'd like to "remix" my original here is the PSD file: https://www.dropbox.com/s/vspwexm3jkrutbm/holidaycardfinal.psd
I will take the best "remix" of my final image and send it as my card in the Reddit Holiday Card Exchange.
Gimp is fine. If it doesn't let you get it from the official site, you should try from here: https://ninite.com/ This is a good site. No addons or anything. Lots of us pc guys use it to download some of the programs we use after we do a clean or new operating system install because it will download all the programs you want on there at once.
It's 11 o'clock SOMEWHERE.
AM, Like Midway and Alofi (at the time of this post, obviously), or 11 PM in a fuckload of other countries, like right where I am, and I didn't realize it until I checked the world clock. That's so stupid
You should read "Hoverzoom’s Malware controversy, and Imagus alternative".
It's pretty safe and easy to use Firefox, NoScript, and RES, and click 'show images'. The RES guy is also working on a safe alternative to HoverZoom.
<a href="Barely Changed"><img src="https://image.ibb.co/kpw2pw/IMG_0186.png" alt="IMG_0186" border="0"></a><br /><a target='_blank' href='https://imgbb.com/'>upload picture to url</a><br />
It's already edited, this is the original image that guy used or the sky/water. ~~https://cdn.pixabay.com/photo/2017/06/09/04/41/sunrise-2385711__340.jpg~~

Hoverboards don't work on water! But they do work on ice!!!
I gotta say. This was exhausting. I don't have Ps, so I Googled a free online photo editing tool. It took me waaaaay too long to do what I wanted to do and it wasn't exactly compatible with my MacBook or maybe Chrome or both.
When I finally got the upper body on McFly's legs and was ready to put it on the background of the original image, it was too small and looked pixelated. I said "fuck it" and so, yeah, this is my final product.
edit: And the paddle is for if he does run across liquid water...sigh.
Nauseated. I'm only telling you this because I lived in the US for 19 years before learning the difference. Being nauseous means that you make people around you nauseated.

An android app called Photo Editor by dev.macgyver: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.iudesk.android.photo.editor
Basically cut her out, then made a bunch *.png (allow for transparency) images of her rotating. Started by pasting+positioning her on a zoomed in cleaned up version of the background then spun and zoomed out with some cloning to add spaceship leaving effect.
The app has a gif making tool for combining each image (frame) into a gif.
The app is probably not the best, though I haven't found any better imo, I've been using it for years now so.. might as well stick with what I know :)
Probably a lot easier to do on a computer, idk. Lol
I'm talking about that old PS Touch that isn't available anymore - it was last updated in 2015. Unfortunately Adobe abandoned it and it's users and that's a shame because the app itself, while not perfect, is as close as you can get (at least in Android) to a "big" Photoshop in terms of the way it works and what it lets you do. It's limited, though and has some quirks. It's unstable too - my phone is equipped with 3GB of RAM and on images like this one in its original resolution I could make just 3 layers (original image as a background + 2 more), so I had to resize it a bit. It does quit quite often just like that - disappears form the screen with your work so saving all the time is a must ;)
But still - no alternative. There was a paid app which name I can't remember now, that was getting pretty close and polished could be good but was also abandoned few years ago. Sad thing is, that PS Touch from what I know doesn't work on new Android versions like Pie. I'm currently on Marshmallow but I'm going to buy a new phone and when PS Touch won't work I'm out of fun here :P
Edit: found it! The app I was talking about is PhotoSuite 4 Pro - it's close in how it works to PS Touch, has similar tools but it's just not as polished - and will never be as it was abandoned in 2015 :(
> How on earth am i supposed to click those on mobile with my sausage fingers.
Use Slide for Reddit with large links enabled? ;)
I enjoy the app as well. Pretty easy to get the hang of if you're a beginner. There's also an "auto" tool that's super helpful.
you will have to watch lots of tutorials. its pretty easy once you learn what the tools are and do. http://design.tutsplus.com/series/photoshop-tutorials-for-beginners--psd-12643

I'm going all 9/11 on you /r/gambling!
I don't see why not. I put it on my Google drive account. Just click the download button on the top left of the page.
The second season is already on its way however their will probably never be a third because each season takes up about 8 volumes of the MU and only 15 volumes are out now. It takes a long time for manga to come out and usually if an anime catches up with the source material continued adaptation is unlikely because they don't want to wait years for there to be enough content to air. Also there is no telling when the manga will be completed.
Looks like this is a statue of Hatshepsut when it was on display in the Met Museum of Art. Can't find it in Wikipedia though.
Yes, TOR and VPNs help mask an IP but using Google / Bing via proxy isn't the same as using services like DuckDuckGo and StartPage. Good thinking though
HTTPS Everywhere is a good start. It makes your browsing a lot more secure and your ISP shouldn't be able to track what websites you visit. Depending on what you use to download, find an option that says something like "Enable SSL encryption". I haven't used any torrent programs for years so I am not sure if they offer something like that. I would imagine some do.
A few official Photoshop Apps for Android exist, he might have used "Adobe Photoshop Mix" ( https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.adobe.photoshopmix )
It's sufficient for a quick joke edit but lacks features.
Thanks, if anyone care - it can be done in Mirror Lab app (Play store link) in Alchemy section and pixel sorting effect after few tries with different settings. Then it's all in layers - wiping part of the sky so the melting effect would be applied only to lower part of the original image and that's it. Don't remember now if I used blending mode different than "normal" but that's a detail ;)
PicsArt. Best app for editing I've ever used hands down. I use it daily to make shity memes and "Photoshops"
Here's the playstore link. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.picsart.studio

I created this card to send in the holiday card exchange. It was created using Photoshop CS6 and a variety of source material. I am in the photo as is my dog, Olive.
What would you add/change about this photo? The best "remix" by Saturday December 8th is the one I will be sending to my holiday card match.
I've uploaded the original PSD file here to give you something to start with: https://www.dropbox.com/s/vspwexm3jkrutbm/holidaycardfinal.psd

Not quite as powerful as gimp, but very clean and easy to use. Here's a video guide to downloading if you happen to be a novice.

If you don't want to spring for Photoshop, want smart selection and layers, but don't want to deal with Gimp, there's always Photopea. I do stupid edits of my boss and our team every once in a while and it works really well.
There are quite a few good free alternatives to Photoshop out there. If GIMP isn't for you Krita is another good alternative.
dude, as a friend, and as someone that used to use Paint.NET all the time for everything, and as someone that now despises the thought of Paint.NET, you're very, very welcome!
wWell done Todd, I find this very amusing and would enjoy seeing much more content from you. Perhaps try livestreaming or create a youtube channel? Im impressed by your photoshop skills how about taking an online course? I have found you a neat website http://alison.com/learn/photoshop. You could become as big as th e famous elusive pewdie pie. DDG (a search engine whose parent company started off, and has remained good) finds it too.
Here is a summary of Google’s Terms of Service. I hope you find it worth reading.
The only way to really prove it is to either use a packet logger, or read through the source
Besides, even if they're not actively tracking you right now, they've already proven that they have no problem with sneaking in spyware without telling anyone. They really don't deserve any trust anymore, they burned that bridge long ago.
Edit: So I took a look through everything, and it appears that hoverzoom actually does respect that option. But the fact remains that they have destroyed any and all reason to trust them when they snuck spyware in the first time. Keep using HZ if you want to, but know that it's made by people who have no moral problems with selling your private data (like history and passwords) to advertisers without asking you or even telling you that they're doing it.

I've been using Photo Editor for years including on old Samsung devices so /u/DriqqyFN should be able to work with it. It's not fancy like PicsArt but it does some core stuff well.
i did some hunting and found them on amazon at this link
There's PhotoSuite 4 but it also seems abandoned. It could be good if they didn't stop development and choosing between those two abandoned apps - PS Touch is better.
This is crazy similar to a children's book I illustrated last year. full book on amazon
