Privacy.com will let you create a new card in seconds. I also use e-mail aliases to create new accounts. I don't care about my watch history so I use this method with every streaming service that is offering deals to new customers.
OJ Made in America is included with Amazon Prime. If you don't have the service, it also has a free trial.
I agree Hulu can be deceptive when it comes to content. I usually refer to Just Watch to check the Library of streaming services, it's a big help though not always a complete list for any service...link below.
If you are a student look into the Spotify premium deal. $4.99 a month for Spotify premium...Hulu with limited...and Showtime. 1st 3 months are only .99.
Not working for me right now. Using StrongVPN.
If they can actually do this, I wonder how much business they are going to lose? I pay $7.99 a month for HuluPlus. Are there 10,000 people doing this or are there 100,000.
Virtually everyone I know watching Hulu or Netflix through a VPN is an American living in a foreign country. They are just trying to pay for something they could get at home. All these folks will turn to torrents if this continues. Great way to prevent piracy.
If Hulu's website isn't a good option, try Justwatch.com](https://www.justwatch.com/us/provider/hulu/movies?release_year_from=1990&release_year_until=2002) if you have the $5.99/$11.99 hulu plans. I already selected Hulu and movies for you, just select the appropriate genre from the drop down list. Example Scifi movies. It will at least make it easier to know what to search for.
I usually pick my favorites on the website or use the Roku search option first and save them. Makes it easier in the Roku app.
You can check your email on sites like https://haveibeenpwned.com/ to see if your email was used on another site that was previously compromised. If Hulu was hacked, it won't stay a secret for long.
I use Mediasonic Homeworx and HD antenna with a flash drive (they recommend HDD but i dont have any issues).
You don't have to be a student in order to get Hulu with your Spotify premium subscription. This link will give you the option regardless if you are a student.
I don't believe there is a deal where you get Spotify premium with an existing Hulu no commercial plan. When you sign up for the bundle it says you can't upgrade Hulu to the no commercial plan, which is a bummer.
I'm not saying they're equal but that $353 million loss was for only 6 months of 2017. Doesn't include past years nor anything going forward. Hulu doesn't put out these numbers so it's pretty much a guessing game of what their total debt could be.
Hell, Apple has $100 billion in debt. At these low interest rates it be dumb not to take some on.
this may be for ( or your wife) https://www.sling.com/devices/amazon
Sling TV officially launched on February 9, 2015. The same day, Sling announced a carriage deal with AMC Networks, allowing networks such as AMC, BBC America, Sundance Channel
Justwatch says it is from 2012. A lot of damaged homes never got dealt with post Katrina for a very long time, some homes may still be as they were as people abandoned them since they had no flood insurance etc.
Create a burner card on privacy.com and change your billing info to that card. Then in the Privacy website, pause that card so it doesn't get charged. I've done this with every over-the-top streaming provider and it works every time. Or just email support or try another browser.

There are other similar filter subscriptions and blockers such as uBlock.

They do have apps on both, but better versions are cuirrently in development:
https://store.playstation.com/#!/en-us/apps/funimation/cid=UP2203-CUSA01881_00-FUNIMATION123456
It's not too complicated, Funimation will dub a whole series and give some dubbed episodes to Hulu to generate interest, while the whole dubbed series (including the simulcast dubs) are reserved for their own streaming service or disc sales. Yes, this is how they make money from their investment in dubs. Hulu clearly doesn't pay them enough,
Bear in mind here that Hulu has rolled back its support of anime quite a bit since the start of June, deleting many titles and not buying any new ones, so I doubt they will be offering a more lucrative deal to Funimation to get more of the dubs any time soon.
I would wait until the first episode aired, then check a website like Canistream.it and search for the second season through there. Amazon may have it as I think they added season 1 to the Prime Instant Video library. I don't know about Hulu though. I would like to know a way to see what will be available on Hulu too.
Rokus are great, cheap, reliable, and tons of apps. I don't think you'll be disappointed. Looking up offers, buying a new Roku gets you 2 months free of Hulu right now: https://www.roku.com/offers Definitely buy a Roku 3.
Some things hulu is great at: * Next day content for many shows, except things in CBS * Cheapest way to get Showtime * Has a decent back catalog of full seasons * One of the few places to get legal current shows on demand * Good kids/anime/foreign show selection if you care
Cons * They have only the last 5 episodes for several things. Meaning you'll need to get caught up elsewhere. Either buying the seasons outright or another service. Not a con if you're caught up with the show * No sports (Except whatever is on Showtime) * Movies are getting better (Criterion collection is good and they seem to have more movies now than I remember)
Other apps I've tried: - Sling's app is pretty garbage, but you can pay for a package to get things that are missing. I personally like PlayStation Vue (Only on PS3/4) more, but they're all pricey for the channels and act like cable with worse ads.
Give Hulu/Sling a try on free trial and see if you don't touch your cable box for any reason? Should be low risk to make an informed decision yourself. Not much option to get live sports/news at the moment.
Just bought the holiday deal subscription and was in the same boat.
I searched it up briefly and found this site
https://www.justwatch.com/us/provider/hulu
The search features seem neat but it's annoying that you can't refine searches in the hulu app or even online.
It's not a show but if you liked The Strain for it's alternative take on vampire lore, be sure to check out an early Del Toro movie called Cronos. It's subtitled but totally worth it -- very original and cool concept / execution.
I use Privacy.com and a separate bank account for funding. I only put enough money in the linked bank account to cover my online purchases. Privacy.com generates a separate card for each merchant with limits and how much they can charge.
You shouldn't use Hola. There was an update a few months ago where it stole your bandwidth and did some illegal shit with your internet. Something involving CP or something. I switched to CyberGhost since it works with Hulu.
I think it was. I just remembered changing the HDMI ports for the Chromecast recently, which is 90 degrees facing another direction. I just tested with this app, and found out that small change costed me half the bandwidth.
Same. I've got one set up to work with my Roku TV, Vizio sound bar and Sony Blu-ray player. Works great. I've got mine set up to where the volume buttons always control the sound bar.

Do you reuse login credentials a lot? If so then you’ve probably been pwned....
You can always check: https://haveibeenpwned.com/
As far as credit card info, I’d just keep an eye on transactions, but usually those are OK unless a site you use was compromised or a device /computer you use was compromised.
I don't have a Shield, but let me know if you run into any snags. I should be able to run you through it.
I dl'd from here

This page from Justwatch.com partly helps (it is for animation in Hulu not anime specifically because Justwatch doesn't have that as a genre). Reelgood.com does filter specifically for anime so its list may be more helpful.
> I don’t think there was a single movie on there that had higher than 20 to 40% on rotten tomatoes for ratings. We’re talking one star, two star, three star at the best...
> ...So if you’re like me, take the input. If you’re like 99% of people that will watch meh programming, you’ll love starz.
I guess I'm not a 1%er. I see The Shawshank Redemption (90%RT), No Country For Old Men (93%RT), Pulp Fiction (91%RT), Office Space (80%RT) and The Breakfast Club (89%RT). Those are all worth $2 on their own and that's just a quick glance at the top 3 rows of the Just Watch list.
That is pretty subjective question - only you know you like and have already watched. Here is what justwatch says is on Starz so you can judge for yourself.
Here's what they've added lately in the US.
https://www.justwatch.com/us/provider/hulu/new/movies
I don't subscribe to Hulu anymore, but look at what Prime Video or Netflix has added lately and it's not great in comparison.
Prime Video is my new goto to dig for a movie, lots of movies on there from the 70's-2000's I'd never seen that weren't smash hits.
Rick and Morty S1-S3 should be ad free, only S4 should have ads.
Anyway all the content listed here should be ad free, but note you need to check the actual episode/season because for some shows, like Rick and Morty, some parts are in the regular Hulu library, and some are not.
https://www.justwatch.com/us/provider/hulu
Generally speaking for shows from ABC, NBC, and Fox pretty much all shows should have at least recent episodes ad free and some shows the entire show will should be ad free. And all content from FX and Freeform should be ad free. And Hulu originals should be ad free. And then Hulu licenses some content from other networks which will be ad free, but pretty much all of it will not be current season episodes(current season defined as if the season has aired in the past 5-12 months, the length will depend on the show). This is why Rick and Morty S4 has ads, since S4 is still a current season and Hulu only has the past seasons, but the Adult Swim on demand library has S4. For some licensed shows regular Hulu will have all past seasons, but for othera it will only have a small assortment of episodes. So you would really need to check the specific show on the above website to be sure.
So if you are using Hulu to watch new episodes shortly after they air on other networks than the 5 I mentioned that put new content on Hulu, it is going to be coming from the network on demand catalog nearly 100% of the time.
Check the email you use for Hulu on https://haveibeenpwned.com
I found my email and password on that site in a list called "hulu plus". When I checked my account there were about 20 devices I don't know using my service. I caught on when someone decided to be bold and signed me up for commercial free.
HULU NEEDS TWO FACTOR AUTHENTICATION!
If you search a show on these it should have no ads. As these only list shows that are on regular Hulu, not shows that are part of Live TV.
https://www.justwatch.com/us/provider/hulu
https://reelgood.com/source/hulu
Note you may need to check the actual episode/season as there will be cases where only some of a show is on regular Hulu, but a larger amount of it is on Live TV. For example regular Hulu only has seasons 1-3 of Rick and Morty, but Live TV has season 4.
If you search for the show on justwatch and it says it's on Hulu then it's part of the Hulu catalog, if it isn't, it's part of Live TV. They also list all the shows on Hulu in a giant grid here.
https://www.justwatch.com/us/provider/hulu

If you search Live PD it doesn't mention Hulu, so that's from Live TV.
According to JustWatch, in the US 2 seasons are available for purchase , but the series isn't available for streaming anywhere right now...
The on-demand options are usually the same on Hulu Live TV and YouTube TV as they are from the TV networks. But Hulu has it's own library. You can go on justwatch.com to see if you will watch anything on Hulu's library. I use YouTube TV because I don't really think I will watch anything on Hulu. But if I wanted to, I would just sign up for Hulu's $6/month plan and stay with YouTube TV.
https://www.justwatch.com/us/provider/hulu
This lists the shows that are on regular Hulu, and will also tell you which episodes of that show are on it if you click on a specific show. That is what will be ad free.
Check out JustWatch. You can search for damn near any movie or tv show and it will tell you what streaming services it's available on, be it Hulu, Netflix, Amazon, HBO, and many others. It also tells you where you can purchase or rent them, if streaming isn't an option.
Here's a link, definitely worth checking out.
You can look at this list, it only includes stuff available on regular Hulu. You will need to click on the show to see which episodes specifically are on Hulu, as many of these shows will only include some, not all, episodes.
well, it is kind of annoying that it fails to tell you which seasons are on it. For example, Blue Bloods has 10 seasons, but only nine are on Hulu. If you look at Chicago PD and click on season 6, you will discover that is the only season available on Hulu. However, it is possible that if you get NBC on Hulu with Live, you will get access to two seasons.
Yes, it is gone. If you are a student, that one is still available.
When I bought it I believe I got around 30% off. I bought a good amount ahead of time because I know eventually I will use it all up, even if it takes a few years. If you’re a costco member, they usually have a deal once in a while (about 18%). https://slickdeals.net/share/iphone_app/t/10414536
The 15% off iTunes are fairly common. I would just setup an alert on slickdeals for the word iTunes and wait for a good gift card deal to come out.
It does. There's literally hundreds where things can't be DVRed. I live in one of the markets where they can't be :(
Link to DVR restrictions: https://www.playstation.com/en-us/network/vue/faq/features/#dvr-restrictions
Yes, for a very short time when it first came out it may have required it but for over two years it has not required one. It actually works on both Roku and Fire TV devices, along with Apple TV, Android TV and mobile devices.
Here is the link. https://www.playstation.com/en-us/network/vue/faq/supported-devices-and-set-up/#supported-devices
An OTA antenna is the best option if you want to get locals without adding extra coats. I recommend checking out the DTV Reception Map to see what channels would be supported in your area, and what type of antenna features you will need to have (UHF, VHF, etc.). I personally get 33 channels with my OTA, but that all depends on the location and if there is any interference between the tower and the antenna (buildings, trees, etc.).
There are DVR devices you can buy that support antennas. You plug the antenna into the box, and the box into the TV.
If you aren't happy with the OTA option, you can check out YouTube TV ($49.99/month). It's better than Hulu Live, and does have local channels. You can check out what local channels are available here
https://www.sling.com/value/dvr
Note that their comparison is sort of wrong/misleading. It's states no on fast forwarding with Hulu + Live TV. You most certainly can fast forward, as I already described with how it works with basic vs enhanced DVR.
I'm not sure, looks like someone asked Yahoo about this a year ago...which doesn't look promising. I'm not too familiar with Funimation as a streaming site but it looks like they have them, so I'm not sure why Hulu wouldn't.
https://www.justwatch.com/us Looks like Starz has the most titles, while HBO is a close second. Showtime and Cinemax pale in comparison.
I like my Hulu (no ads) sub with both HBO and Starz addons. There's a lot to watch for $35.
according to JustWatch all five seasons are supposed to be on Hulu, Netflix, Yahoo View and TubiTV.
https://www.justwatch.com/us/tv-show/the-it-crowd
Yahoo View and TubiTV are free.
Hulu may be listing it as IT Crowd not I.T. Crowd.
Find a show you like and sort by season and episode. Unfortunately, there is no one area that shows every show that have the full series of. and if it's a brand new show, chances are that they only have the most recent 5.
Maybe this can help?
Recently, I wanted to stay off of Hulu for longer than 12 weeks. So, when the 12 weeks was nearly up, I cancelled. When I resubscribed, my data was still there. I think the main advantage of allowing customers to suspend their account for up to 12 weeks is that it helps keep people from quitting for longer periods, which is an advantage for Hulu, not for the customers. I've now begun using simkl.com to track what I watch, which will come in handy if Hulu or some other service loses my data or drops some program I was watching on it.
Not an issue, it's your PC, lack of ram, processor, or you have throttling for your router on hulu.
What is your internet throughput speed? GO here: https://fast.com/
What is your pc specs?
Do you have bloatware?
I feel for you. My dad has never liked change either, and after his stroke last year, it’s only gotten worse.
Would you consider installing Chrome on it? In particular, I’m referring to CloudReady by Neverware. It’ll turn an older PC into a Chromebook.
Had Apple Music for two weeks, didnt like it. Buffered too often, skipped and restarted a lot. And that was on a 100Mbps Xfinity and on our ATT Prioritized cell plan. Pandora and Spotify were fine aside from the interruptions.
Amazon and Hulu don't hate each other.
Amazon works independently for their prime video and not competitively like Netflix. Hulu exclusives often get the Amazon Original treatment internationally if a TV network doesn't claim the license.
The Hulu app is most certainly on Amazon, otherwise, a fire stick would not have it.
Edit: They hide it if your device isn't "compatible" like if it needs the Widevine version or something.
Fire TV Version and the Android Version probably for Fire Tablets only
The reason is that you're only getting the episodes that received a home video release - The Best of I Love Lucy. It's actually the same episodes as are for sale on Amazon or on CBS All Access, but Amazon lists them in the DVD release order while Hulu lists their original air order.
Weird. I live outside the US and NordVPN wouldn’t work for me and the research I did showed Hulu blocked NordVPN. My other VPNs work fine
I’m just gonna cancel Nord cuz I don’t need it but I’m curious as to whether you’re using default settings on the VPN or have them configured in a specific manner
You can buy a prepaid Hulu card and use that, just enter a random ZIP code when entering it. The cards only come in 25/50 dollars so you get a few months each purchase, but it's quite a lot. You'll also need a VPN, and you should preferably use a paid one to make sure your data is protected. I currently use NordVPN.
I have a Hulu subscription as well as Netflix US, living in New Zealand. Netflix covers most shows, but Hulu is great for getting new shows as they air. I was using the Unblock-US VPN to access Netflix US, but as it no longer seems to work, Unlocator is my new go-to.
Well the real situation is that Hulu blocks PIA (Private Internet Access) VPN and my ISP throttles Netflix horribly.. I'm just trying to get my Apple TV to traverse the VPN for Netflix and over the WAN for Hulu.. I was able to find some server listings for my routes and i'm trying it now and it seems to be working so far.
Me too, in NZ using Private Internet Access VPN. Their servers in most US regions are being blocked, but the odd one still works. Looks like Hulu is just blocking IP addresses (or groups of), so probably is up to VPN providers to sort out new ones.
I am going to note that this seems to only apply to newer Kindle Fire Tablets. My Fire tablets are old enough that acording to the Amazon website, neither of them have access to the second Hulu app which is for live tv.. In my case only the older Hulu app is available.
Hi Ben,
I cannot get Hulu to work when I am docked in my 3rd party dock. Any solutions? The switch and other games work fine. Here's a link to my dock
Just make sure you get the right version: https://www.amazon.com/Married-Children-Complete-Ed-ONeill/dp/B00WV7TQDW
edit: will warn some of the reviews say the video quality isn't up to the other set. I have the original DVD release but not this one so I can't tell. Best check youtube for comparisons.
Are you using this app or the one that says hulu for Android TV which won't be compatible?
