You're not technically wrong. most of Wlop's photos are part of a series called GhostBlade. Here's the link if you haven't seen it already: https://tapas.io/episode/28730
In my self published novel, a dwarf can grow a beard before they can walk. Most outsiders can’t tell the difference between a 10 year old dwarf and a 100 year old dwarf. Despite appearances, the dwarf twins Orin and Orín are actually just children. In Pangea dwarves grow up in a stowed away country called Bablanca- the only way to get in, is to be a dwarf! Like many other races, some dwarves are blessed with magic. While many races may focus on their conjuring spells or* healing spells, dwarves love to enchant weapons and items. If one were to walk into a trinket store, they’d most likely see a dwarf behind the counter.
Edit: My novel is actually free today and tomorrow for ebook on Amazon!
This is also the cover to a book called "The Corgi Chronicles"
She's also an elf.
And not wearing any clothing remotely resembling Egyptian fashion of any era.
I suspect the artist doesn't actually know what "Egyptian" means.
However, many Egyptian queens were "white". Cleopatra VII, for example, was part of the Ptolemaic dynasty. The Ptolemys were Macedonian Greeks who ruled the country as an elite class after Alexander the Great conquered it. They were "white" (although, at the time, that's not a racial distinction anyone would have made). Even before the Ptolemies, Egypt had been a multicultural crossroads for literally thousands of years and its racial makeup was thoroughly varied and mixed.
This, however, is a charged issue because African American scholars in the '70s began pushing an "afrocentric" agenda that attempted to reinterpret the history of the ancient world. (Check out Not Out of Africa for a pretty good survey of the issue from a rational viewpoint.) In addition to claiming that Alexander invaded the city of Alexandria in order to loot its library so that his childhood teacher Aristotle could steal the knowledge it contained and pretend that Greeks had invented a bunch of stuff that was actually "stolen" from Sub-Saharan Africans (none of which makes any sense whatsoever), they've also pushed hard on the idea that Egypt was actually a black nation founded by a Sub-Saharan civilization.
The artist's deviantART gallery and ArtStation.
This was created for Zems' online card game.
Absolutely gorgeous lighting/tones in this image, a talent this artist has in spades.
Good illustration! One quick constructive criticism is watch for weird perspectives—his right arm looks like a stump because of the angle. Changing the swing angle of the weapon just slightly would fix this. Even professionals fall into this problem. Look at the main character's right leg on the Ready Player One poster (way too long):

Enjoyed trying a slightly different style than usual.
This is my OC in her warm up uniform! Simple but sleek—my favorite part are her boots!

Hello hello. Today I bring you one more, recently finished artwork, fresh off the painting canvas. This one I started some time ago and have been working on the side, day on and day off, just whenever I felt like touching it. Took my time with it and it was totally worth it in my opinion.
This is a painting for World of Evros, a personal project where I'm developing a fantasy universe. If you want to know more and get some cool wallpapers head over to my Patreon and check it out!
Jurupema, Lady of Moths and Beetles
Concept
Ages ago, in a damp misty forest, an artifact was placed. Something that could never be destroyed by the guardians was then hidden to never be found. To protect it and make sure no one places their thoughts in it, out of moths and beetles Jurupema was created and to her the power and control over them was given. Moths would scout, hide and report to her everything that happened within the forest, and if it were a threat then the beetles would take care of it. This was the pact and mission between her and the insects. Today, what she protects is still unknown and if any shall dare to enter the forest, then in return, Jurupema, Lady of Moths and Beetles shall make them meet their end.
Lore
"There she was. She had the whole forest looking for us. If it weren't for Erskinna we for sure would be gone, wouldn't stand a chance. The treant offered as a way across if we promised never to come back. We took it before he could think twice and whished that we never truly returned."

I love the early 20th Century look of this image - I'm happy that it includes that 'newsboy' street urchin character because without that character, this image could be rooted in today's world. But with it, this picture is suddenly grounded in an alternate universe.
The Chronicle of the Jali: Redemption of Storms, an African inspired epic fantasy, that draws inspiration from historical African empires, like the Ashanti, Malian, Abyssinian and many more.
Book one follows a boy on the run from an ancient empire on the brink of collapse. Koujo must navigate the perils of leadership and political brinkmanship as he assembles an army to conquer the land before it collapses into total civil war.
So if this sounds like a read you may enjoy, then join Koujo on his journey to conquer the empire!

There's a comparison here. They were more elf-like in the early games, giving over to the cat-like ones in later games. Officially those are different sub-species, but really it's just the devs changing their minds on what they wanted them to look like.
Loved designing their clothes and concepts! high fashion in a desert wasteland~

Hello everyone, hope you are all doing great! Here goes one more painting/art commission for a DnD Character that I have finished recently. This was a painting i made for Brynjar Austrani, sage, smith and aquaintance to the forge god Ornn that a client of mine plays. The idea is that he is getting ready to do some more work on his warhammer in this kinda cozy smith and library. I know it can be a kind of dangerous place to keep books around but lets hope nothing bad happens. Hope you all enjoy it.
If you wanna see more of my work feel free to check out my portfolio and patreon where im developing a fantasy universe, there are new paintings and concepts every month, and we just finished the first month yesterday. All critique and advise is welcome btw, thank you very much!

Your "particular character" is making a hand gesture of some sort. It's not found much in Christianity -- which is obviously just fine.
I'm just saying that IF you wanted to spice up his heretical understanding of himself, you could have him doing the ICXC hand gesture.
You probably shouldn't, what with eternal damnation and all (I'm kidding).
Here's an example : https://search.brave.com/images?q=Christ+Icon+ICXC+hand+gesture&source=web#1
Timoti is a soon to be introduced character in my comic Princess Flux: Journeys of the Abstract Princess. You can read it here: https://tapas.io/series/Princess-Flux-Journeys-of-the-Abstract-Princess or https://www.webtoons.com/en/challenge/princess-flux-journeys-of-the-abstract-princess/list?title_no=104144.
The Princess fell ill, so he's about to take care of her! This was actually in response to a previous panel I created, but this won't be placed in the actual comic.
I've been designing outfits for a comic, and I liked this one. This girl isn't actually a character in the story; I just like drawing weird faces.
If you're curious about the comic, it's going to be part of (and a radical departure from) my current series, which is on tapas.
Hey there, I'm Eric Quigley and I recently did this illustration for Michael Anderle's Kurtherian Gambit Rise of Magic series (on sale on Amazon!). It is being written by CM Raymond, LE Barbant, and Michael Anderle and edited by Candy Crum- great creative folks to work with.
I don't want to give away anything story related so I'll just say these guys hail from the original Kurtherian Gambit series. As the universe changes so do its inhabitants.
If you're interested in The Rise of Magic series book 1 can be purchased here: https://www.amazon.com/Restriction-Kurtherian-Gambit-Rise-Magic-ebook/dp/B06XPPXTKX
