Get a drain cover
Its the viofo a119 v3 with their glare filter and hardwire kit. I like the quality and the parking mode recording is nice with the wiring kit. Sometimes I wish I got one with a rear cam like the a129 duo.
The canyon lakes system is the best place inside town to ride without a threat of traffic. You have to cross a couple of roads but other than that you are on park roads with little traffic. http://www.mapmyride.com/us/lubbock-tx/canyon-lake-bike-trail-route-2887239
I don't know what type of hair you have, but I have long, kinda wavy, pretty greasy hair and my damage comes from being rough on it with the comb.
If you can get away with it, have you tried washing it less frequently?
That can be challenging for me in the summer and depending on my workout schedule, so my next suggestion is to use a more hydrating shampoo. My hair benefits from Palmer's olive oil shampoo. You should be able to get it at Walmart/Target as well. Might have to check out the ethnic hair care section.
If you are in love with your shampoo and don't want to change, you can try using oil in your hair. I don't do this myself, my hair is naturally too greasy, but I've heard great things about coconut and macadamia oil. You can purchase a bottle of either on Amazon for under $15 and it can also double as a skincare product. I recommend research before slathering your hair with oil, though!
And of course, regular trims help keep it looking great.
Good luck!
I like using Windy. They have it as a web page and app. I originally got it for wind readings because I do drone work, but it is really nice for all of the things it offers too. Great visuals and things like radar, satellite (visable, infared, etc), wind, rain accum, lighting strikes, cloud base/height, visablity, and a lot more.
Using a VPN provider like Private Internet Access and subsequently making sure you don't have a DNS leak will prevent this, as well. Going through a VPN places all of your traffic into a black box box from end to end.

That is a link to a region 17 brochure. That is where I'm currently going to get caught up in curriculum so I can take the GED. They have morning and night classes (Starting at 6:30), and they will be doing orientation on Monday I believe. The entire thing is completely free, but if you miss this orientation, there will not be another till March (You cannot attend unless you go to orientation). Just thought I'd let you know about it if you didn't know already.
Anyway, I'm 20 (b-day next month, woo), living with my parents after I lost my job at the end of September. This has afforded me a lot of free time considering my lack of friends (Where are you supposed to meet people in this freakin town?). I've taken the opportunity to study for my GED, which I am scheduled to take on the 14th.
Other than that I pretty much just do whatever I feel like. I've discovered the joys reading for the first time, and am currently speeding through Steve Jobs' biography. I've also developed a taste for comic books, which I've never had interest in before; Batman and Nightwing are my favorites.
The strangest thing that's happened since I've been unemployed is toying around with the idea of meditation. I've been reading "Mindfulness in Plain English" and it's really good at pointing out the misconceptions people have about meditation, and the best part is it's actually a guide to starting. I don't know how I fell into it, but I look forward to meditating every night, and feel a lot more at peace since I have been practicing.
tldr: unemployed, do stuff I normally wouldn't.
Oh, and I finally got offered a job yesterday; I start on the 17th, woohoo.
I always check out Indeed for jobs. They get job postings from various sites, including Texas Tech's Job site. You may have to do some sifting, but I've found it more helpful than going through 10 different sites each day.
Good Luck!
How about amortization techniques for paying debts? Do you know about the snowball and avalanche methods?
There is a book called "The Millionaire Next Door" that helped me really hunker down and hash out a (working really well so far) long term financial plan. TL;DR: high income is not the key, aggressively paying debts and living below your means is.
If you can, try facebook marketplace! heres 3 monitors for $60. VGA monitor $10
Very cool! (no pun intended) For panhandle both Caprock Canyon and Palo Duro offer hike in campsites (Primitive). I think 1 mile range? Once camped at the top of Haynes Ridge trail Beautiful. Hope you have a great time!
Surprisingly...I got mine from Amazon. Went to a seamstress down on 50th, told her where I wanted it brought in for the jacket, where to "cut" hem on the pant and she did her magic.
A guy by the name of Jay Moore did an excellent series on Abilene called History in Plain Sight. He did a book by the same title too. While I appreciate the desire to get all up in the grille of the current politics, that shit is boring, is readily found already and a whiny screed will do little to change things. That and it will not find a wide audience, in my humble opinion. FWIW, I tend to lean quite left of the prevailing climate of Abilene (on many if not most subjects) and I would have little to no interest in a documentary that reinforces what I think. I did find Moore's series (I have not read the book) very interesting, entertaining and quite informative though.

Worse case, you could buy one of these and do the update on your own computer:

There's an Android app called "Podcasts" which has everything I've wanted to listen to on it. I'm pretty sure it's from Google.
I've been messing around at http://www.codecademy.com
It's free, interactive, and explains things pretty well! I'd at least start there before you go and pay money. It'll give your cousin a start. Just my recommendation, anyway.
Yes!!! There is a book club on meetup.com called Not Your Momma's Book Club, but they ask that you bring wine or a dessert. There's also one at Groves Library that I just found - they're meeting on Monday at 7 to discuss The Nightengale. We can maybe start our own at a different branch or crash that one? That ones called the Reel Books book club, I'm guessing books with movies out?
Vote for starting our own or crashing the library's?
People here open their front doors and let the dogs out "to do their business". It's a small town / country mindset. Nothing you can do about. Bring something with you for protection. I recommend citronella spray.

One of my favorites is Haynes Ridge at Caprock Canyons Initial climb always kicks my butt but the views are amazing. About 1hr 45min away.
Over by Mae Simmons park, all the way down past where the little lake ends, there's a path going into some trees and a train trestle. It's actually part of a bike track and I like to hike it. Back in that area it's wooded and very nice.
Here's a photo.
Here's more info on that hiking trail.
Other than that, we try to get out to New Mexico around once a month to go play in the Lincoln national forest.
I suck at 3d printing and the build area on my i3 is only 8x8x7 inches, but you could use the cut features in Meshmixer to break your model up into pieces and then glue them after printing. The latest version of Fusion 360 is supposedly better at importing STL files if you want to do more complicated (parametric) reworking.
im down
also on a side note:
Feb 25th there will be some good tunes at bashs provided by The Buster Duanes
http://www.reverbnation.com/thebusterduanes
they are some redditors too and if y'all like the sound we should try and meetup then as well
just some ideas :)
You can always see if a credit union would give your fiancé a loan for the remaining amount. Definitely DON'T get a payday loan if you need to borrow money.
Check on Facebook, autotrader, letgo, OfferUp, too. Sometimes you can find something decent.
I use a vibrating alarm clock to wake myself up after I had to start using ear plugs because of my neighbor. They definitely work for me. Theres a ton of options on amazon but I use this one:

My advice is to learn to make your own, and patronize the local Asian grocery stores. I recommend Just One Cookbook for a variety of Japanese recipes. I made her gyoza recipe from scratch and it turned out well. The Japanese Soul Cooking book has lots of really great recipes that we use often, our favorites so far are the karaage and katsudon. I also recommend r/ramen because homemade is the only way we've been able to scratch that itch while living here. The other commenter is correct, the secret to success in Lubbock is that quantity and price wins over quality and flavor every day of the week.
My family all used neck-gaiters. Their really breathable. The ones with elastic are super easy to keep on your face.

I bought one from Amazon that was the wrist type- no good. This one will cut off circulation a bit but you get an accurate read. https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B07RYBKNC2/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_2wVqFbDF89TDR
One of the top VPN providers is named 'Private Internet Access' for a reason. It encrypts, end-to-end, your connection to anywhere on the internet and changes your IP address. It can also make it appear that you are somewhere else geographically.
Your ISP can see what you're doing and looking at if you're not using an encrypted connection. Some of us don't like that.
That's right! Man, I tell people everyday that fear is what is holding them back on financial gains. I had an epiphany one day. I said "whats the worst that can happen? I lose my wife because I drove us into the ground because I'm taking a risk? I lose my house? That's not that bad if I get left and homeless. I would at least have a pretty good book to write on how I lost everything before I hit my goals! LETS DO IT!"
I then quit my job on good terms (just in case, was my 'oh shit' net). Then I pursued my vision.
Ya'll should read The Millionaire Next Door: The Surprising Secrets of America's Wealthy.
My best friend followed this. Paid off his 55k student loans and quit his 30k job and doing what he loves now. He's a really successful day trader here right in Lubbock.
Welp that was a lot longer than I intended and I need to get back to 'work'.
EDIT: No kids, play video games from about 9ish - 1AM every night. BOOOYAAAA
>Ya'll should read The Millionaire Next Door: The Surprising Secrets of America's Wealthy.
Seconded. Love that book. I recommended it elsewhere in this same post. It hasn't left my reading table since I purchased it a decade ago.
> Still not going to be cheap though.
Cost isn't really the point now...like I said my wife and I both game, we have netflix and hulu and a couple other internet services, I do a lot of online sales and business, and I require internet access for work. We rely so much on having net access that if we hadn't been assured of having service we likely would not have bought this house. Paying $1000 for equipment to piggyback on a friend's service is a lot cheaper than paying $60/mo for service that doesn't work.
I'm certain I'm missing something, though. Looking at the PowerBeam AC seems like what I want, but am I missing a part here? Is it just buy two of those things, put them on poles, point them at each other, and then connect them to our respective routers/switches? $400 seems too cheap to solve my problem here.
Have you just tried the toothpaste/compounds?
You need to actually sand them down progressively with something like this. Then hit it with a polishing compound, and then a UV protective coating.
