Meanwhile can you also do me a favour and install Accubattery app from playstore
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.digibites.accubattery
Many people are telling that this app gives estimated battery capacity as around 2000 mah after analysing 2 3 cycles of charge and discharge. Could you please also do it and let me know what result you get?
Your battery drain issue is resolved so I am curious what estimated battery you get.
Make sure when you install the app, it asks for your phone battery capacity. By default it sets to 3550mah. Which God knows why. But set it to 4300 mah and then try for few days to get the actual result.
Well, I got the phone recently a couple of weeks ago. I bought it in Amazon's local website (I'm from Spain). It got the update when I started using it, so I'm not sure if it's a January update or December's one. I checked my level of widevine using the following app: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.androidfung.drminfo
i dont know if this will help but after you record it theres an app i use to crop it and it is very useful
this is the app
I think that with Cinema FV 5 (lite version maybe?) you can set pretty much everything when it comes to recording. Image quality may be superior with stock camera app though
bad charger maybe or bad cable, not every cable can deliver good charge btw?
i got a cheap 20w one for 10 euro or so, for our workshop, we all use it and it works fine, we all got either oppo, realme or xiaomi phones, i personally have a realme GT 5G.
try a different one chrger, if you want a smaller one look for GaN chargers, they are new built better and are smaller.
like this one
Honestly it's what suits you more. GT Neo 2 has amazing fast charging, slightly better CPU, battery and (at least on paper) much better main camera, but S20 FE is waterproof, has microSD slot and from my experience has better UI (it's more stable and less glitchy with often updates, but that doesn't make GT Neo 2 unusable). Apparently updates for Realme are region depended, which I find really dumb, so if you want to receive latest updates, imo you should buy a phone from Asia and use free VPN (like TunnelBear) when you'd want to check for updates. Funny that my GT Neo 2 fell into puddle and nothing happened lol (that's just my case, don't suggest your choice by that). Both phones are brilliant, it's all about your needs.
I was able to change it by downloading https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=de.szalkowski.activitylauncher&gl=US, search for "lock screen", tap on Settings->Lock Screen, change text in "Add text on lock screen" in opened activity
The Realme UI 3.0 Device List says that a Global Stable Update to Android 12 should've already been released for your Realme 8 Pro.
You might want to check for trial versions in the Software Update screen or maybe set/change you region from your phone's settings.
You could also try using a VPN (I suggest using TunnelBear as it is very simple and free) then select any european country and check for updates. I used a VPN to update my Realme 8 5G and skip one whole year of updates. (from May 2021 to May 2022)
Try using SmartHertz from playstore, it should allow you to switch 120Hz for Instagram, YouTube etc. that are locked at 60 Hz by the system
Just an alternative recommendation. I found myself using procam instead of gcam due to errors while recording video. After using it for a couple of weeks i think it's a lot better than gcam and it's also free. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.intermedia.hd.camera.pro
I had same issue like yours but i solved.,Just download setedit app and change the peak refresh rate line to 120.0 to 1. If you do that youtube, games (like dead cells) will go up to 120hz but you cannot change your hz in settings while in setedit line is 1.
If you want to undo just write 120.0 again.

Avoid charging your device's lithium-ion battery above 70 % daily, it will last longer.
I use AccuBattery to warn me when the charge reached 70 %.
Do other ARCore apps work?
If you go to the Playstore does it say that the Google Play Services for AR are installed? If not, can you install them? And does the Live View work after that?
Strange thing is that the GT Neo is on the supported devices list, but the GT2 Pro not. But I think that the list is not fully updated with the latest devices.
Hey, I just got the package, and I checked the hepa filter fits perfectly and side brushes also fit perfectly. Unfortunately the main brush or the under brush is too small to fit on realme robot vacuum. Here's what I bought: Reverbo Replenishment Kit | Replacement Parts | Accessories Compatible with Ecovacs Deebot 500 / Deebot U2 Pro | Filters, Bristle Brush, Side Brushes https://www.amazon.in/dp/B09V54VG1C/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_i_PRVWZHWNZSM9BHZ5AT39?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
Yes and not just games. It caps Chrome, Firefox, and a lot of other essential apps. But the full refresh rate can be unlocked for all apps by using this app.
SetEdit https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=by4a.setedit22
Nope. It's too large. I returned it. I'm mainly lookin for hepa filter as the stock ones are completely blacked out now and suction quality has gone down. Ordered another brand one.. Hopefully this might work.. Really sad that realme is not supporting such an awesome robot vaccum. It is doing the job better than maids.
Hey, I think I found the accessories compatible with realme Tech life robot Vaccum. I've ordered it today, will confirm once I get it. https://www.amazon.in/dp/B08FC7Z6P3/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_i_dl_W44CSWBQ4RTZ5YP0RPHM
It's showing up as €649 for me on amazon.it currently.
It sounds like the customer service rep was just confused and didn't know what to say. I also didn't have a great experience with them (they even sent me an email that was meant for someone else), but in the end everything has been fixed. If you're in Italy, I'd say your best bet is ordering from there. If not, then check out the amazon.de, they also have it at the early bird price.
try Yet another Auto brightness it lets you manually set the parameters for your auto brightness.
it doesn't need root. do note though its originally made for older versions of android, but it seems to work fine for the Realme GT ME.
Make sure you have the devices Auto brightness turned off. otherwise the system will overwrite it.

I have a realme GT, I don't have MHL, but this works pretty fine for only video. I use AUX for audio. Try it out maybe both video and audio will work for you.
I like me a mix of battery life and charging speed, and a headphone jack of course. Tried most OEM skins, so decided to go with Realme this time. Already ordered they grey 3363 version. Should be here between 14-30 days.
I was asking about phone clone, not app clone. Like this app on OnePlus and Oppo. Wondering if it works on Realme as well.

I don't know if it is extended. But, this is the closest I could find. Maybe you can check ahead and post here.
you should check what's taking all of the battery power, go to settings, battery, phone battery usage. there may be background apps like chrome draining your battery. if that is not the case, download a battery to measure mAh in your phone ( is suggest this app https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.digibites.accubattery) you might have lost a lot of battery capacity, I bought my phone with 4,000 mAh and now I only have 3,300. this usually happens with bad quality batteries or improper use.
Hello You can not delete the weather service from android 11 with the application you can do what you want here is also a pretty good list for safe debloating https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/guide-eu-in-rom-realme-ui-debloat-list.4084795/ From my observation I know that you can't delete also com.coloros.healthservice and com.heytap.appplatform (restoring by adb doesn't help, the solution is to format the phone by recovery) To get package names for deletion I recommend this apllication https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.csdroid.pkg I removed about 109 packages Greetings
Ontario in Canada (because there is Ontario too in US)? Yes, it will work except if you are in a small town. I have a Gt neo (dimensity 1200) here in Quebec with public mobile, owned by telus like koodo, and its perfectly fine.
You can see the bands that you need here, specifically band 4 and band 7 for 4g fdd-lte:
Always check a site called Kimovil if you want to find out where you can a buy (specifically a Chinese phone).
If you check Kimovil, the realme 6i global version is available to buy from sites like Amazon.es and Gearbest.
https://www.kimovil.com/en/frequency-checker/CA/realme-x
My device technically has 1 band of each, 2 total. but my network uses 4 total. I can still try it I guess. But it makes much more sense if someone already tried it on Virgin Mobile Canada...
For what its worth, I bought mine on Spain through Amazon and had some one bring it to the Dominican Republic... 4g lte is working as expected so far with my current carrier. One website that helped me with the same question was https://www.kimovil.com/en/frequency-checker/MX/realme-x2-pro
Make sure you check the bands of your carrier with what shows there. Worked for me. Best of luck. Beast of a phone.
https://www.kimovil.com/en/frequency-checker/AU/realme-x2-pro
Hope this help. Looks like China version doesnt support B28(700) in Australia.
I would check the bands of your mobile provider to see if they are compatible,
https://www.kimovil.com/en/frequency-checker/US/realme-x2-pro
Amazon is a pretty safe place to buy from and should accept returns on faulty goods no problem,
Not sure what the return policy is on this device but I'm sure it's stated somewhere on the Amazon page
Just tried it with my realme 7 pro.
It seems to be pretty accurate.. It's in line with my accubattery estimate
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.vndnguyen.phoneinfo
I've used accubattery app and it showed me I've ~4600 mah battery left on my phone. I used Battery benchmark app to benchmark battery performance/capacity. But since I'm the only user with this phone in this app I'm not able to compare my phone with others. If anyone interested in knowing their battery performance/capacity. Or if you're facing any battery Issue you can run a test in this app. thank you.
Battery benchmark app: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.texts.batterybenchmark
Never used the stock gallery app on any phone tbh. Been using simple gallery pro for years. The album management (hidden, excluded, locked, deleted) is great and the editor is basic but good enough.
As for the settings, I agree most skinned Androids complicate things (even Samsung imo), but you get used to the new layout with time. I guess it's inconvenient about the custom ringtones not allowing vibrations, oh well.
Thank you for taking the time to explain this stuff to me. I'm sure a post about pros and cons of Realme hardware/software would be helpful for people thinking about buying it. By the way OnePlus is heading, my next phone would most likely be a Realme.
I found out you could use this app to force 4g or 5g only on GT Neo:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.argus.sava.networkmode
Choose "Method 1" and set "NR" as preferred network.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.androidfung.drminfo&hl=en_US&gl=US
When the app is opened one of the fields will either show L1 or L3
Looking forward to hearing from you
Not sure if this is an Android 11 issue but the update had unlinked ringtone and notification volume for some stupid reason!
This app seems to be working to fix it but wish the system would actually give you the option rather than having to use a third party app!
If nothing works out, I mean service center doesn't entertain your plea, Use this App (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=app.phhuang.volumecontrol), You can control your volume with one click, from Top drawer button! It's really handy and I have rarely use physical buttons after this!
Accubattery!(https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.digibites.accubattery)
It's perfect app to keep tab on battery usage! It doesn't consume battery at all, notifies when charge reaches to 80% and many such features...
Hi there!
The realme 6 doesn't got an amoled display, but an ips one, so it doesn't support it.
But you can use third party apps like Glimpse to add several interesting functions to the phone.
Its in mine also... But I found an alternative way... Just install this third party app... https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.jami.tool.hiddensetting And here you can activate this guest mode or any other user...
Hi there!
That's because realme 6 don't have an amoled display, but an ips one.
I suggest you to try Glimpse notification in order to have some of the functionalities of the Ambient Display mode.
It's not downloadable through the Store, because it's integrated into the rom. I think you can only use a different one now. I suggest VLC and Flowie Music.
This is what I bought. Comes with two glass protectors
It's perfectly alright if you wish to stick with free apps. I'd suggest you to check Musicolet out. It's a free, lightweight app with no ads and asks for reasonable permissions.
Have the same issue on a Reno 5G which is also exclusively 3500MHz (78). It's not the telecom in my case either.
Try accessing the RadioInfo panel at ##4636## or though an app like this one and see if NR is an option under preferred network there.
My next thing to try will be to visit the 5G-enabled tower again and see if that connection makes the option become available on the phone.
Could you install this and tell me how many system apps are there? https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.lb.app_manager I'm on pixel experience and want to compare it (Btw this has 175 system apps)
You can but you need install a copy link to clipboard app from the play store like this: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=nl.robwu.copylink
However I would have preferred a built in app from realme itself. Seems like a very basic feature to have.
Hey, I found an amazing app that does what you want. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=ru.elron.gamepadtester&hl=en_IN&referrer=utm_source%3Dgoogle%26utm_medium%3Dorganic%26utm_term%3Dgamepad+tester&pcampaignid=APPU_1_niwhX461NZr8rQHl8ZzQBQ
Check this out. And follow the instructions in the app to remap your buttons. But it needs root to remap.
try https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.microsoft.launcher&hl=de
it is lightweight and works flawless with the 6 non pro
I see some people here going for the argument that the X2 Pro is new from Realme and will have bugs, and the software isn't that refined. So, allow me to debunk this quickly. The Realme X2 Pro is an Oppo Reno Ace, Realme licenses everything from Oppo, yes, software too. "Realme UI" is Color OS 7, but rebranded.
Now, if what you want is a closer to stock Android experience, you can check our guide here to unlock your bootloader and flash a custom ROM. With this, you can also use a custom Launcher such as Nova Launcher and get an icon pack from One UI or similarly styled from the Play Store. You can also modify the notification menu entirely, with an app called Power Shade which I believe has the One UI style in it by default, just to make you feel more at home, if that's what you prefer.
With this, you no longer have the restrictions put in by Realme, that is, you can use custom launchers without losing app split, for example. You also get 90Hz on a lot more apps than you otherwise would on Realme UI, case in point: Minecraft, which does not run at 90Hz on Realme UI.
Shadow KWGT this the main app you will need KWGT with its pro version and a Launcher obviously edit and customize according to your needs
Test that your volume buttons work here: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.flossga.android.whichbutton
If it doesn't, contact Realme for a replacement or help, if it does work, reset your device.
For virtual LED I use NotifyBuddy, you can choose the color for each app individually, or you use the app icon itself. It's pretty good.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.xander.android.notifybuddy
App in Play Store called Always On Edge. Works great for me and looks cool as heck. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.used.aoe

You can try this app:

Also, with Android 10 update later on, you will get edge lighting feature for notification.
I would keep photos since it is required for viewing pictures form the stock camera app. Also, I would use adb to DISABLE apps instead of uninstalling apps. For the apps that you need but don't want to see, get Nova launcher band pay a little to hide the app if you want. I would also get a GCAM port for it as there software is great.
I used this App Inspector to help me with the package names for the adb
If you google "remove bloatware realme x2 pro no root" then there are articles with the abd software and commands for the apps.
NordVPN not work in China, you can trial wireguard VPN in China For X2 pro .
for free trail wireguard vpn with Widevpn, active via below code.
