Favorite CE is likely Ivy or Setsuka.
As for gc style controllers, yup. The current day ones don't compare to the same feel. But... if you can get an og one... Adapter for PC and Switch
I have one. Works great for og gc controllers and wii controllers
EDIT: Watch out, region blocking is apparently a thing!
I assume you don't mean PC as that Deluxe Edition is everywhere.
So: https://www.amazon.com/SOULCALIBUR-VI-PlayStation-4-Deluxe/dp/B07DL3DGP5
You should be able to buy from Amazon USA as I seem to be able to (Europe as well).
I've never tried it but I'm pretty sure autohotkey does support mouse buttons, I'm just not sure what the "name" of them are off the top of my head so you'd have to google what autohotkey calls them.

Heres the page list of any special keys, mouse buttons and pad keys: https://autohotkey.com/docs/KeyList.htm

If you want to map anything else (I omitted the left and right sticks) you'll probably need to find what keys correspond to what by default (shows up on first boot) if you want to map anything else.
If I find a screenshot of it again I'll send a link.

↑ Maybe it has to do with something in the Lightmass.ini file but not quite sure at the moment. Unreal engine has a bunch of values in the files I haven't looked into yet.
Couldn’t find it on the list, so I assume they haven’t tested it yet. You can check here: https://www.playstation.com/en-us/network/onlineid/games-list-home/games-list/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app#s

I see. There are 5 stars review from code worked person and 1 star review from not working person. I'm not sure the difference.
From your report that the issue on MS side. I think you can request MS support to redeem manually on support end.
https://support.xbox.com/en-US/contact-us
If it does not work I think you can requst Amazon to refund or credit card company to file unusable product/service.
I purchased SC5 digital code before, redeemed, but not show up on Xbox Series X. (It was because not in backward compatiblity list). That time and other time, I've contacted support. They were fine to explain well.
I hope they can help on your case as well.
Even SC/SC2 are delisted, if you have purchased before it is still working.
I'm not sure about SC2, but SC is on Amazon Digital Code still. I have not tried as I purchased before, but it may work still.

SoulCalibur (1) is on Amazon for digital code purchase still.
I have not tried as I have already from MS store before delisted.
But Amazon Digital code may work still.

I bind A and B to L1/L2 so I can hold them down.
The Hori Fighting Commander is great for playing Hilde. I alternate between that and a Mayflash F500 Elite, but SC doesn't really benefit from a fight stick (generally, according to the community).
At least according to a poll on this sub, over 50% of the people who voted are playing on PC. Now, reddit is usually biased towards PC so I'd expect that percentage to be lower for the community as a whole, but it should still be respectable. On the same poll, about 35-40% were on PS4 and 10-15% on XboxOne.
Only 2% currently (7 votes) dislike the function to the point of not getting the game. (If that's not a minority I'm not sure what is) Sure there are those that despise it as well, but they'll have to suck it up. RE is here to stay.

Having Project Soul discard an entire newly made and finished mechanic only because of a very small minority is stupid.
>free engines like Unreal
>Once you ship your game or application, you pay Epic 5% of gross revenue after the first $3,000 per product per calendar quarter. For a more detailed explanation of how that works, see the EULA and our product release page. We also offer custom license terms to companies who prefer to pay an upfront license fee in order to lower the royalty rate.

Sounds free to me. We expected SC6 selling 2999 copies afterall.
I can't see how the fuck can be games cheaper. I only looked at the sdecond video but the guy isn't even making a point just doing baseless attacks. Sure, coders might be easier to hire and with all the middleware, you don't need a top-tier superprogrammer for nowadays' games (unlike in the DOS era), but with all the pixel-pushing, artists need more and more work to attend the generations' quality requirements with 4K textures, detailed models, etc. etc, which requires more concept arts and whatnot.
The indie game revolution has nothing to do with this, since indies are not expected to bring AAA quality in all fronts until they find a major publisher to back their projects (which is why pixelart became trendy, you can just upscale pixels and pick whatever small resolution you want to work with).
IGDB has a listing. Granted, one would have to do a lot more research to determine the makeup of the team, because Japanese names can often work for either gender. But one thing I can say with some certainty is that the leadership of the game is almost universally male. That's just a facet of the industry in Japan right now.
Because you can have female artists, and you can have female designers, and they can certainly influence a project simply through their presence as much as through their actual contributions to the overall work. The reason why greater representation in the leadership is important is because the leadership are the ones who maintain the vision of the game. More women in the vision-keeping area of the game allows for a more diverse vision overall.
This is 100% about the conscious and unconscious biases of the design team, and the only way to balance that for a diverse result is to have diverse representation at all levels of the design staff. You could argue that Okubo is incredibly progressive and advocates for more inclusive design, but if all the staff he highlights is a lineup of other male designers and artists, I'm going to have a bit of doubt.
Not sure if you still need an answer, but no, you should be fine.
This was an issue with proton that was fixed after launch, that occurred because Proton was corrupting leaderboard data:
>The issue with the SOULCALIBUR VI network error is now understood to be caused by a bug in the Proton Steamworks implementation of leaderboards data. The bug causes the Steam client to upload corrupt entries to the backend, which causes the game client to fail network initialization on all platforms. We will be deploying a fix in Proton as well as deleting the corrupt data for affected accounts. Due to the design of online data for that title, it also appears that affected accounts end up fixing themselves after a couple days of not attempting to log in through Steam Play.
The issue was solved but that didn't seem to seep out into the google search results. I've played since on Linux with no banning problems (only issues have been some title screen graphics and issues with giving custom characters different names).
Turbo and Super are iterations of Street Fighter 2 games. Basic math is reference to simply checking online to see if "X" move is giving you problems then you find out how plus or minus it is on block (frames) and finding out what moves you have to punish said move. This isn't "hours" of work. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.framecalibur.app
And you don't have to have friends on the game, after you play someone that beats your ass then msg them and ask if they'd like to play some sets = practice.
And finally characters aren't "pay to win" if they can reliably be beaten by base roster characters (which they can). You being a new player and all I can say the "Blame the tools not the user" mindset is probably the worst mindset to have as a fg player.
Totally separate, it was its own thing, released way after release. You can get it on Amazon, or you can just check the scans on the wiki.
Hi there!
We have an Android app available that we're keeping up to date. You can grab it here:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=rc.framedata
Currently we keep it up to date with 8WayRun, but we'll be rolling out a new version this week that will let you sync frame data (public spreadsheet) without having to get an updated version of the app.
The plan after that is to open up the data so that the community can help us keep it up to date, and allow them to maintain combo lists and other features we plan on implementing soon.
In any case, please do give it a try, and let me know if you have any feedback or feature requests.
not anymore tbh, unless you’re a collector or just plan on playing offline. there’s not much to do. online is pretty much dead and even when the game was at its peak it was super laggy. https://www.amazon.com/SoulCalibur-New-Legends-Project-Soul/dp/1926778952/ref=sr_1_1?crid=2OUSN1482M61O&dchild=1&keywords=soul+calibur&qid=1601613043&s=books&sprefix=soul+cal%2Caps%2C164&sr=1-1 the book has the concept art and explains a lot of the lore, but even then unless you’re a collector it’s not super necessary bc a lot of it has been uploaded to the SC wiki anyway.
There's already a lot of replies, but having used this in SC and Tekken, I agree that it is pretty nice. Much better in SC than in Tekken though, as the dpad is pretty restrictive, making Korean back dashes and quick neutral inputs difficult. The face buttons are fine but the shoulder buttons feel flimsy. Overall very comfortable to hold.
I'm waiting for the PowerA Fusion fightpad because it looks to have a much better dpad. There's also the Sega Saturn pad which also has the better dpad. Definitely consider those instead if you want to use it for more than just SC.
> Jesus christ, I didn't know that. Where do you find reliable frame data on this game btw?
This app is really handy, but it's not finished yet (last I checked Taki had no frame data, for example). You can also find frame data for specific characters on each character's Discord, if you use that.
Hello user! IP can easily be circumvented by using VPNs!
Comment Upvotes are automatically checked for by Unique IP Address then account age. However it has been shown that the IP Address part can be circumvented by Upvoting through the user's account page instead of the comment itself. The account age threshold is about 2 to 3 weeks according to some users. Not meeting either results in the upvote not counting
IP Addresses can be circumvented very easily with a VPN, many free options are available like CyberGhost. Account age can be circumvented by creating your alt accounts far in advance.
If you want to stick to the xbone controller you can, this adapter will let you use one on PS4. Brook makes quality coverters. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01GDVGQ48/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_KxQdCbSYK60QN
There are a lot pros that use a fight stick and a lot of pros that use a pad. To be honest, if you are serious about getting into the game on a professional level, you should switch to PS4 as that's the platform tournaments are typically held on. In other words, if you buy a fight stick for Xbox, you would have to buy a separate adapter to use it at most (all?) tournaments.
But putting that aside, i bought a fight stick and used it for around 100 hours in tekken before going back to my elite controller (and the disc cover that fits over the dpad), and i would say just be prepared for a really significant learning curve and know that at the end of the day, there isn't a guarantee you will actually be better with a fight stick. It's really more of just a preference than an actual advantage. If you have a place where you live that has arcade games still, i really suggest going there and dropping some quarters to test out if you prefer an arcade setup, and then if you do, you can feel more confident dropping a decent amount of money on a decent stick ($150 and up).
Also if interested, this is the stick i have: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B019ZDL970/ref=cm_sw_r_fm_apa_i_B9F4BbVR2KM3E
Thumbstick seems messy to me because of its placement on the PS4 controller. It's fine for some games, but for accurate quick inputs it's a lot harder to feel where the true directions are. If the stick was where the d-pad was like on XB, it'd be a lot more reliable.
Anyways, the main advantage I saw in using the thumbsticks was getting run inputs way easier. For everything else the PS4's d-pad served me better.
Personally I still prefer PS4 controllers, but have you considered one with an Xbox layout (like Hori Onyx)? I don't have one on hand, but I believe the stick placement keeps your thumb pointed more straight forward than PS4's diagonal. I believe this is also why I had no issue using the stick on dreamcast controllers.
Does anyone know what's the best way to connect the controller?

I've been using the cable I use to charge my Samsung S7, but the plastic around it is starting to fall apart and it's probably gonna break soon. I could get another, but whenever I use a different cable, it keeps disconnecting at the slightest shock (moving my controller), I tried two cables and they look brand new... why does my piece of crap cable never disconnect but the new ones keeps disconnecting at me barely moving the controller?

is there a way to connect it with Bluetooth ? I didn't built my PC with a bluetooth connection.
I guess I could use this https://www.amazon.ca/Avantree-Bluetooth-Adapter-Computer-Keyboard/dp/B00VWEK4IG/ref=sr_1_1_sspa?ie=UTF8&qid=1539953199&sr=8-1-spons&keywords=bluetooth+pc+adapter&psc=1

Which part do you mean?
The four seconds I referred to where we've actually seen the guy were at the end of the announcement trailer.
My sourced texts come from the SoulCalibur V artbook New Legends of Project Soul.
It's an artbook, and you can get your own copy on Amazon if you're interested. I highly recommend it since it's got great art and a lot of lore information that really should have been in SoulCalibur V but wasn't for whatever reason.
It also has relationship charts, a timeline of events throughout the series, interviews, just tons of stuff, at 192 pages.
It was made a few years ago, so it's made in line with SoulCalibur V going forward, well before SoulCalibur VI was announced. It may or may not be canon with SoulCalibur VI, that still remains to be seen. But everything in it is canon with regards to SoulCalibur V.
