Well who thought that was a good idea? It’s also the color for water containers.

Never pull under an overpass, that actually increases the suction. Dangerous myth. It’s actually safer to leave your car and flatten your body out in a ditch than hide in an overpass.
Of course Jethro did the dumbest thing possible in this situation, and the woman was right to freak out. You don’t drive into a fucking tornado either, that’s basically suicide.

Arnold has a “Bodybuilding Encyclopedia” that is for both beginners and advanced lifters, with a huge range of info that even covers nutrition. It’s massive and inexpensive. It can be bought on Amazon.
Yeah....see...the thing is.....I didn't give you just a urban dictionary link. I gave you a GOOGLE link that encompasses pages and pages of examples of the statement being used including a video of a pastor using the phrase. Ever watch Desus and Mero? They are just two of the many tv personalities that use the phrase frequently.
You stated: >Yeah, no, nobody says “you don’t want no smoke” like that.
Yet there's literally a t-shirt for sale on Amazon with that exact phrasing. You think that's an accident? No, it's for sale because it's a pop culture phrase that EVERYBODY uses. Just because you and your circle aren't familiar with the phrase doesn't mean it doesn't exist to the rest of the world.
That being said, you can believe what you want to believe. Everybody else knows the truth.
I can say that with confidence.
If you've ever calculated projectiles, you'll notice that the your inputs into the formula will not change. Weight, air resistance, and the energy you're putting into watermelon do not change if your watermelon is frozen or not. With the use of science, we can make a very educated guess that a frozen watermelon will not travel further than a room temp watermelon.

Funny story, I’m a paramedic and I had a patient that used one as a sound, his X-ray looked like about the size of a pencil well he couldn’t get it out and he went to bed...when he woke up it was gone...it was in his bladder..... we’re at the hospital and the nurse asked me how big it was and I told her what I saw on the X-ray, he corrected me and whipped one of these bad boys out of his backpack proudly stating “ it was this size!”

I suggest everyone with Android trying the app Horizon Camera. (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.hvt.horizon)
It keeps all videos in landscape mode automatically while recording. I've used it for many years now and love it!
Yeah, but the skate style helmet that goes down over your ears will help with a sideways slide on your face, a really jutting helmet will keep your face safer than a regular one and they make some MTB helmets that are more skeletal and less bulky and have concept helmets for urban bikes that will have face/ chin bars to keep your face from being hamburger if you nosedive but none are on the market yet.
As more people bike/ buy electric bikes I imagine a lightweight, comfy face bar integrated helmet will be more in-demand.
If you haven't already, I strongly suggest getting one of these
The one I have replaces the rear view mirror and the mirror converts to a touch screen for the camera. It records 5 min long videos and deletes the oldest videos when the micro sd card is nearly full. It has a rear view camera too that gets recorded at the same time.

>Have some of you guys commenting even been around cows?
The answer is no.
Redditors barely know where their food comes from they definitely don't know the first thing about cattle.
I commented on a neglected cow completely covered in flies in an open field a while back and was downvoted because all anyone could see was "free range cow in field, he very happy", as if fly spray isn't extremely affordable and necessary depending on climate.
This is probably a steer they raised from a calf that is very docile. There is still a danger you will get kicked, but anyone who was brought up around these animals knows what we got into when mom and dad weren't looking also.
It has to do with the blast of air caused by the explosion, but you have to be accurate and how much explosive you put in there. An alternative is an air tank with a large valve to blast air into the seam.

No, never been there, and while it's nice when civilians can take responsibility to keep the streets safe(r) (that's the idea I've always got from Russian viral videos anyway - people don't put up with street crime, probably don't get arrested for self-defense?), it's still important IMO to at least *try* to make everything fair, and to point out when it's not. Just because we can't make the world perfect, doesn't mean we can't improve it somewhat.
IDK much about Russia and it's culture at all, been reading this book (https://www.amazon.com/Empire-Russian-Its-Rivals/dp/0300097263) and it's full of geopolitics but nothing really that gives a feel of how the people are. It's an English Bull Terrier, of which I have 4. While they are very affectionate and playful, they are notoriously hard to train, to the point that the most popular book on training them is called 'When Pigs Fly'.
My wife trains our four for several hours a day. Three of them are ranked in the top 10 internationally for breed for command training and one in agility. Even then, they are still well below every other breed in skill, speed and obedience by, ranking dead last.
conversely, I'm a dumbass 30-something but I welded a sick roof rack onto my hatchback and I can feel the observation when I roll a cart full of plywood up to my little Subaru and the subsequent, subtle nods of approval are very satisfying as all the sheets click into place and secure down in moments with a couple clamps and retractable e-track straps
Yeah, I don't get it. This video is weird. This ain't like some jackass in a house who doesn't know what's up. Looks like a restaurant being renovated, and everyone in the frame is some kind of tradesman. The dude even cutting it looked like he knew this was happening. He was cutting that cable like someone with anxiety trying to squeeze a balloon until it pops. So I can't piece out the story behind this.
For less than $20 you can pick up one of these voltage pens and wave it in front of the wire to tell if it's live. If that dude's a tradesman (and an older one at that), there's just no way he didn't know it was live. Why the hell was he doing this?!
A voltage pen like this one is indispensible when working around wiring of any kind. No contact, takes about a second, and tells you if the circuit is live or not. Also useful if an idiot coworker goes and cuts a bunch of wires without checking which are hot first.
I once folded myself up to fit into a square laundry basket like this one. I was a teenager, and it was to sneak out of my then boyfriend's place so his mom wouldn't see me. Stuck a bunch of clothes around me/on me and bf carried me/it out to the car.
His mom stopped him once he got to the front door and asked where he was taking his laundry. He said it was a bunch of old clothes he was taking to our friend so she could either patch them up or use them for a quilting project she was doing lol
It was hella surprising he was able to hold the basket up for so long while she kept yapping at him lol he finally made it to the car and after he drove around the corner I was able to climb out. That's when I found out our other friend who was with us grabbed a pair of bf's dirty underwear and stuck them on my head. I about killed him for that. Everything else had been clean at least lol
20 years later, I'm too old for that shit. But even as a stupid teen no way in hell would I climb into a washer or a dryer!! That's some next level idiot shit.

Depends on the State. This guy is wearing an Eagles cap, so I'm guessing this is PA. PA it's a felony over $2000. He doesn't look like he stole over that much. It probably falls in the Second Degree misdemeanor offense (over $50 but less than $200). In PA the 2nd degree misdemeanor convictions carry up to 2 years in jail and fines. If he had stolen more than $200 but less than $2000, that would be a 1st degree offense so he would be facing 5 years + fines. Big box store may have a company wide "no chase" policy, but they will still call the cops even for misdemeanor thefts.
Here's a nice list of stores and how they normally handle (national policies)
No. I don’t think it’s a great idea for two people to do anything at the same time with a deep-frying turkey. Just too dangerous. I have a kit like this one: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0776Z9M1B - although my gloves are longer and go past the elbows and have a hide welder’s apron I use in case of splashing.

Tricky with a curved ramp, and a vehicle with suspension. (Curved ramp can make it difficult to estimate the angle the vehicle leaves the ramp, and suspension may "spring" back and also cause difficulty in estimating the ramp exit trajectory)
But it's certainly a decent start.
Just basically need the vector at takeoff (direction and velocity), some really simple calculators like https://www.omnicalculator.com/physics/trajectory-projectile-motion would have got within 80% of the actual distance at a guess. Certainly closer than this shit show anyway.

Varietist, Our fellow human. Living somewhere, some age, some stresses and hopefully many great opportunities. Be a nice person, be nice on the internet. You put a lot of effort into your note. It obviously struck a chord. Be a nice person, be nice on the internet. I'm not sure what triggered you, but this is a pretty trivial topic. Be a nice person, be nice on the internet. You actually reverted to name calling; to a totally throw-away comment. I hope you aren't this angry and combative about much else in life, that would be a massive sadness for you and those around you.
I am pretty sure you will reply to this with anger. I really hope not. I'm a vapor. I'm totally inconsequent to you, perhaps that means you can just take some good wishes and well directed questions from this note.

It goes a bit beyond that when selecting a VPN provider. There is a international agreement between ~14 governments that I know of who publicly trade data to each other for "cyber criminals". There is another one called the 5 eyes countries who also work together to stop online "crime".
You don't want a VPN based in any of these countries because they will have compromised every VPN node owned by that country.
I've used NordVPN for a while, it's not the best but it's pretty good for being a torrent leech. It's based in Panama who ignores all requests for VPN logs and copyright claims and whatnot. ExpressVPN in the British virgin Islands is also pretty good since they don't acknowledge copyright violations or VPN log requests. There is a few more based in European countries who have strong privacy laws (unlike Germany) which are pretty good. Never use a VPN from somewhere like the US, Canada, Germany, the UK, Australia, etc.
VPNs are good for bypassing censorship/tracking by your internet service provider since all data packets should be encrypted so your ISP/Wi-Fi network administrators can't see what you are doing. They're also good for things like torrenting since bitorrent only uses your IP and VPNs are good at hiding your real IP. Other than that it is a couple niche cases when it's worth using a VPN.
Most other online tracking doesn't need your IP address so obscuring it via VPN doesn't do anything to stop websites from tracking you. Browser cookies/fingerprinting and using accounts tied to you can completely bypass the VPN and follow you no matter how much you try to hide behind a VPN.
Of course that only applies to VPN services intended to protect your privacy like NordVPN, expressVPN, etc. You can use an open source tool like openVPN to access things like NAS drives at your home while you are not at home but those do nothing to protect privacy and are not intended to protect privacy
> There is no option for 2ch (unless you can link me one)
You literally said in your previous comment you were looking at a 2ch. I’ll link you the one you claim doesn’t exist.
> I realize you bought a Viofo and want to defend it to the grave, but it’s not offering anything as good or better for $100 less.
The problem you have is that you’re inconsistent in your arguments (probably on purpose). The 750x does not have the features you claim and is more expensive. If you want to use blackboxmycar to buy a dash cam (and you shouldn’t) the listing for the 750x 2ch is $659.99 if you include their 256gb card and the module for cloud connectivity (and the added cost every month for a worthless feature). 659.99. If you select the A139 3 ch with the hardware kit and a 256gb card it comes out to $374.99. That’s more than $100 less with an extra camera. Take off the cloud bullshit on the 750x and it’s still $509.
> These are as comparable as it gets from a website that specializes in these things, and the prices are very similar.
No, they aren’t. You’re looking at a site that has inflated prices. Stop using blackboxmycar because the same camera on Amazon (A139) is $60 cheaper ($275). The 750x with a 32gb card and a hardwiring kit is $330.
If we use your prices then it’s more than $100 difference. I like my Viofo that’s true. It’s just hilarious you’re dying on this hill and changing your arguments as much as possible.

Firearms can be used for many things, and self-defense is certainly one of those.
But firearms training is not the same thing as self-defense training. One has absolutely nothing to do with the other.
Firearms training is learning about how to safely handle a firearm. That's it. There is typically no discussion about what you might choose to use a firearm for, other than the inevitable side discussions and questions that come up from students.

>You want people exposed to firearm education? There's ranges, clubs and
good old parenting. Putting it in the school system is a recipe for
disaster... not to mention how ironically dystopian that sounds.
All those things are great, but I was responding to the guy who was advocating for mandatory training. If you want mandatory firearm training (I don't), then put it in school.
Also, firearms training in classroom scenarios typically does not involve functional firearms. So there is no "recipe for disaster". Usually they use something like this.
Anyone with the money for a gun like that know not to use that on wheels.

>u/squigglesX: EDIT: wrong answers only
One WRONG answer for a flaming-liquid fire is to use water; it will spread the flames unless applied as a fog. Another WRONG answer is to use a dry-powder extinguisher or
CO2 extinguisher AT CLOSE RANGE because it will blow the flaming liquid around before it gets put out.
One RIGHT answer is to use a fire blanket; immediately-available substitute in kitchen: wet towel that is larger than the flame. Another RIGHT answer in a kitchen is to
GENTLY lay a cookie sheet or pizza pan on the flaming liquid (which also is an effective [non-messy] solution for a cooking-pan fire); avoid DROPPING onto flaming liquid, as this may disperse the flaming liquid beyond the metal sheet.
Check out these, they fit over a lot of glasses, and offer much better protection than standard protective glasses https://www.amazon.com/DEWALT-DPG82-11-DPG82-11CTR-Concealer-Anti-Fog/dp/B01A12J3GI
