Backstory is that Trigger busted the engine of whatever aircraft he was flying, during his fight with Mihaly over Shilage Castle. Fortunately, as he landed at castle "runway", there was a recently repaired Su-30SM just standing there. Some application of paint later, Trigger had his new plane.

If you're interested in a good memoir about how Bronco's were used, there is a book called "A Lonely Kind of War" that has some good stories. Amazon Link
Not as much as a strike as a claim, to be specific, requiring that he be the credited one.
Here's the problematic part and a potential resolution now, that I've listened to the song sample on Amazon.
He can claim that "Outro" is only derivative after what he's done with it. Which means leaning towards the Donna Burke-in-Eminem sampling. But it would not have allowed him to maintain that claim on the original Megalith track.
So I amend the plan of attack. Point of clarification to Spotify to check what copyright information is tagged onto "Outro", and if "Megalith" is credited. If it is, no longer a fuckboi, but someone tell YouTube that to clarify lest ad revenue is still going to the wrong pocket. If he did not note the use, sampling, or mixing of "Megalith", even if it was only for a bit, then fuckboi it is, and back to the original plan. It should be notable that the copyright information on the Amazon page for the "Outro" track does not credit anyone in the Namco sound team, Namco Bandai, or (I guess King Records?) for the use of "Megalith". https://www.amazon.com/Outro-Explicit/dp/B00AYBY902
It could be YouTube just fucking up, but that had to be some stupid AI to tag "Megalith" as the wrong song. ^(And besides, I've seen better remixes.)

This is an extended version of the same trailer, whose reddit post can be found here.
F-15J (Fighter) is now included in the trailer.
But there's more.
New special raid (unsure whether it will be immediately available after maintenance):
Emergency Air Strike
Emergency Naval Strike
Emergency Ground Strike
Basically lots and lots of enemies to shoot at.
A new AWACS called AWACS Heavy Cloud takes command of those missions.

Looked around various sites and ended up asking a GFAQs user who got it to post pics. The answer appears to be no, at least for the Lt.Col rank part of the rumor. Considering the timely reply, I think it's legit.
Comment removed. There's too much misinformation here.
Don't just throw out industry terms if you don't understand them. For example: No games use Ray Tracing. Period. No hardware supports it yet. It's used in movies because hardware can't do it in real-time*.

I found this pack out there that has some of the HuD sounds, but you'll need an .ogg player or to convert it to play the sounds.
Also should be noted, it seems the "Missile alert" voice is part of the beeping noises ^(at least in this pack), so you might want to edit that out or something
Hey, I look forward to working on that F-16C Windhover skin! Looks like the F-4E Mobius One has already been completed by another person. Here's the link

I think the problem with calling it "Cipher" is people associate that with his blue wingtip scheme. However, "Pixy" isn't accurate either. Maybe they could reuse its name ("Special") from Zero instead.
Infinity did have an ADFX-01 -Pixy-, but this is basically the Ace Combat 7 ADFX-01's blank Skin 03. Sounds like you own the game on Xbox? Unfortunately someone has a mod (Pixy Fixy) for this exact issue on PC.
Mods seem to be mostly limited to skin mods, but there are some fun ones. My favorites are the Kizuna AI Raven and the Rot Team Typhoon. The port itself is fine - I can't speak comparatively to the PS4 version as I haven't played it, but I haven't had any trouble running it. I'm definitely glad I got it on PC, but I'm not sure I'd want to buy it twice if I was in your situation.
Shameless plug, but I did make my own version of the Mihaly livery on the Raven. It doesn't have the white nose or the orange engines since I didn't really like the look of it, but it's similar enough to this design.

I know it's not a cancelled level, I'm just saying that it makes me wonder if there are cut levels from AC04. Because there are minor story differences between the JP and US versions (the narrator plotted to kill Yellow 13 in the JP version, you can see the gun). And the Su-27 and the MiG-25 was supposed to be in the final release, but didn't

Hmm... Someone might be able to extract the model-files from the PC version, then you could have it 3D printed.
Alternatively, you could try modelling it in an open-source program using reference images of the laser pods.
Well, that would make sense since they're you know, kind of screwed. I was referring to when they can still move.
As for Last Resort, you need to complete the mission (Sink the sub, blow up the missile) in 45 seconds. Don't bother until you grab Falken and then TLS. You can see all the S-rank requirements here, and some of them require absolute perfection.

As soon as they implement hardware mipmapping, we'll get those games in glorious HD.
That's US dollars converted from Rubles don't forget, and in 2014 the Ruble lost half its value (and hasn't recovered), so a $40m plane today was equivalent to a $80-100m plane prior to 2014. That does mean that the Su-57 is cheap / affordable for foreign customers, but internally for Russia the Su-57 is still equivalent to a $80-100m fighter in terms of procurement and upkeep.
>Beaming is usually defeated with pincer attacks (to regain aspect) and datalink (sharing of radar info). Or IRST.
Modern AESA radars are also pretty effective at defeating beaming (beaming perfectly is impossible and newer radars are more precise at detecting doppler shift). Stealth can also help defeat beaming because it makes it harder to properly gauge a stealth jet's range, position and velocity.
>Internal missile bays, 16 hardpoints. Radar in the wings. Nuclear munition capability.
The Su-57 doesn't have 16 hardpoints; it has 6 external hardpoints (2 under each wing and 1 under each engine nacelle [though which haven't been observed being used]) and is estimated to have 6 internal hardpoints, including the AA-11 wing root bays.
>new submarines (In which the US is severely behind on)
https://i.imgur.com/8rq9F7w.png
>joint project with India (when they dropped out they stripped $11 billion from the project)
To my knowledge India's investment in the R&D program was <$1 billion and wasn't / couldn't be stripped; the rest was for procurement; that does still hurt economy of scale, but doesn't really prevent Russia from wrapping development on the Su-57.
Go here: http://thetruesize.com/
It accounts for the distortions of a map. The reason why the U.S. and China looks so different is because they are both turned 90 degrees. But you are right, they are roughly the same size
Try Thingiverse or GrabCAD, should have what you need. It depends on your specific printer, but look for .stl files as they are easier to print.
I've been using Inkscape to take a very simple map I found on Google image search and turn it into a svg vector by using the "trace bitmap" tool. From there, I save as a optimized .svg file and you can open that directly in a text editor, and the map is pretty much a cut+paste job from there. Copy it all and paste it into your HTML doc for use.
The issue is, with the way I'm doing it, I get those weird-looking outlines that aren't complete (you can see in the example above that Verusa is being included as part of Yuktobania because when I traced the bitmap on Inkscape the border didn't stay entirely intact).
I just want the borders to be complete, and for them to be finer and not weird-looking with all those tiny blank spaces in between.
The games are really designed around controller. Some people do prefer joystick for immersion, but I understand that sometimes they can be finicky to set up for Ace Combat outside of certain specifically licensed models. MKB is possible but usually not recommended if you have another option available.

Wikipedia isn't a bad place to start for some bare basics. Don't lean on it for things like technical specifications, but for broad-strokes knowledge about what an aircraft's niches are (air-to-air, air-to-ground, multirole, carrier-based, etc) it's ok. Another decent starting resource is this book, which I had as a kid. There are some mistakes and omissions, and it's definitely not an "expert resource," but it's a handy guide when paired with the Ace Combat series, which spans multiple eras and generations of aircraft.
Another place I like is Jane's. They publish Jane's Defence Weekly, but you can also get online content to keep up with platforms and technology.

A book. Although Robin Olds was a larger than life character that earned some fame. I'm sure History Channel covered him in one of their docs back when they used to do that.
Read about "Operation Bolo" on Wikipedia, that was Olds' doing.
Yes Reformers even hated the F-15 as it was to big and relied on radar ETC. The F-14 was everything they hated in an aircraft. Reformers are nuts I am currently attempting to read their bible "The Pentagon Paradox"

Since Ace combat is all about aircraft's. I wanted to share my mod that I made for command and conquer red alert 2 which has a substantial expansion on aircraft's.
Have a good one !
Hello Guys. The picture above is from a mod for red alert 2 that I am currently making in which this is the link:

In this mod there will be a lot of embedded Ace combat fan service stuff (Mostly planes for obvious reasons) . I hope you guys would like what I will post in the future as well.
I recommend this mod if you want to fly the F-15E in formation

Available on Mod DB by author s33u571.
An actual production F-23A would probably have looked slightly different due to design changes for the final product. Regardless, the YF-23 is quite good looking in an aircraft scheme derived from the F-22A.
Considering Ace Combat is in a fictional universe, it would be nice to see some more "what if?" skins like this one.
The book in question. VERY blatantly Falkens on the cover lol.
Seems the plot is about COFFIN too.
I'm using the free PPSSPP v1.11.3 since I had a Motorola Moto G 2nd Gen (Snapdragon 400, Adreno 305, 1GB RAM). I own a Motorola Moto G9 Play (Snapdragon 662, Adreno 610, 4GB RAM) since 2020.

Frameskipping OFF
Post-processing shader: FXAA Antialiasing (optional)
Rendering resolution: 2x PSP
Display resolution (HW Scaler): Native device resolution
Buffer graphics commands (faster framerate, input lag): Up to 2 (Optional, the input lag helps me a little with maxed out handling
Hardware transform ON

Otherwise your best bet is to use a component cable (same AV connector as PS3) and enable progressive scan in the PS2 home menu.

To be honest...i want all of them (as skin pack)... just like this H.A.W.X mod for example:

You can, but you need a PS1 memory card for PS1 game saves. PS2 memory cards can only hold PS2 game saves.
If you have one lying around, use it. It should fit into the PS2's memory card slots perfectly as they are both practically identical. If you don't have one, you can find them online for a few dollars or more. This listing from Amazon is $5 for a brand new memory card which is surprising given the age of the PS1. You'll find them on other storefronts like eBay and even Walmart if google for one.
worked for me no problem when i used my DS4 through DS4Windows. probably a way to do it without but it worked for me. the emulator also let me change accelerate/decelerate buttons to R2/L2 (they're R1/L1 by default in the older games), and assign switch SP to the touchpad button. the trigger's pressure sensitivity for throttle worked fine as well. 10/10 experience overall. only issue is getting wrecked by the enemy aces. they do not fuck around.
The engine.ini file that the game generates in your user profile. Refer to the PC Gaming Wiki page here for more information. There are other tweaks on that page as well including enabling TAA or disabling chromatic aberration if you so desire.
Lol while I see there is a work around.
This isn't exactly useful. Literally all my audio device is USB. My speakers, logitech wireless headset, DAC that I'm using for audio to my headphones. They need to fix this.
Menus exhibit extreme slowdowns when going from one menu to another. Unplug USB audio devices[7]
Unplugging USB audio devices such as DACs, headsets and microphones resolves the issue.

Azgaar's map generator is mainly intended for fantasy maps, but it has a lot of very powerful tools to edit names of territories, randomly generate landmasses, etc. you can even change things like the fonts and positions of names to really recreate those pure white Strangereal maps.

According to the description, it was made for an exhibition by a designer. The body has a length of 60 centimeters, while the wings are 50 centimeters each.
Yes it is easier to use DuckStation compared to the rest, especially ePSXe as that's really outdated nowadays. Just go here and download the emulator. You'll also need a PS1 BIOS file and the game itself ~~but the first site result of googling "ace combat 3 english patched" should give you those two things~~
Enjoy the game!
Almost all. Ace Combat Advanced, X: Skies of Deception, and Joint Assault are handheld games, while Assault Horizon is multi-platform.
As for emulators, PCSX2 is a fine PS2 emulator, but it is intense on your computer hardware, while PPSSPP (don't ask me about the name) is a PSP emulator that I use frequently.
This has been done to death in here... there are no equivalents in most cases; some countries are amalgamations of multiples Aurelia for example writes their news papers in French but they pull from Chile and Argentina among other South American countries.
And Erusia isn’t France FFS... its fictional history especially the events during AC04 were based on the third reich and socialist WWII Italy.
Hey, I was trying to post a long explanation why I feel it's possible, but I need to brush up on my climate science. So instead I'm going to reference this:
https://www.nationstates.net/page=dispatch/id=977871
It's not our Strangereal exactly, but it's close. Northern Usea's latitude is mostly below 30 north in their version, but you'll notice that the "cool continental/subarctic" climate encroaches on/past the 45 latitude line more than on other land bodies. One of the reasons they stated (and my reason of choice) for colder climates is that polar ocean water stays colder, and with little land north of Snider's Top and Belka in the way, that polar water is given the room and time to influence that northern facing terrain.
Also, http://nsidc.org/arcticseaicenews/sea-ice-comparison-tool/
Here you can see that even in the summer months, a northern facing bay like Hudson Bay does a decent job of retaining ice. I'd imagine the land surrounding it on all sides does a decent job of bleeding southerly winds of a lot of that energy that could warm the area up.
On paper, your specs should be fine for native resolution on hardware mode, possibly even 2x. The fact that you say software mode actually runs a bit better than hardware is very strange and maybe points at your GPU not running as it should, assuming you're not trying to raise the resolution too much on hardware mode.
Can you get https://www.cpuid.com/softwares/hwmonitor.html and run it while playing, then upload a screenshot of the CPU and GPU data? Also, a screenshot of your PCSX2 graphics plugin settings (including the "hacks" sub-window if any are enabled) would help too.
Requirements. My x64 Windows 10, with 1.65 GHz AMD E-450, and 6 GB (basically a moist potato) seems to run it just fine, so give it a try. Another software to consider is Catia, from the same company, but I'm not sure about the overall uses of it.
If the muzzle velocity and mass of the projectile are the same, then sure, the recoil will be the same. Like you say, it might even be spread out over a longer period of time, but that time difference is probably best measured in microseconds.
The real reason people talk about recoil with railguns is muzzle velocity. As a real-life example, the M242 Bushmaster chaingun employed on several US military platforms has a muzzle velocity of up to 1,100 m/s with a 25mm, 134 gram projectile. The US Navy's experimental railgun has already achieved muzzle velocities of 2,400 m/s with a 25mm, 140 gram projectile. Even when the projectile mass remains constant, a railgun is capable of significantly higher muzzle velocities. That's the entire reason they're used.
Now, I'm not a physics student and I'm not up to doing the full math for recoil equations, but luckily I don't have to. This calculator allows you to easily calculate the kinetic energy of a moving object. According to Newton's Third Law, the same amount of energy exerted on the projectile is also exerted in the opposite direction on the railgun/weapons platform itself. Using this calculator, you can see that the Bushmaster's projectile has 81,000 Joules of kinetic energy, while the railgun projectile has over 400,000J. Regardless of whether the acceleration to this velocity is spread out over a few microseconds, the recoil is sure to be severe on a lightweight aircraft.

No worries, it definitely involves a lot of speculation and fule name interpretation, but people figured out that there are files in the game for an F/A-18E, F-14A, a potential Su-57 variant in line with the movie’s product leak, and perhaps even the Darkstar from a file named “dark”
That's interesting; I checked and indeed there are still copies available! (there are even brand new copies but cost >20000 JPY). It seems that some sellers ship outside Japan too

Okay, I might be showing my age here--which isn't THAT much, I assure you, because I found the hardcover compilations of this publication in my school library when I was a kid, but does anyone recall the Combat and Survival magazines? Because this is giving me that nostalgia feels. (The one in my school lib was this compilation, I think, this Amazon page doesn't give much info beyond that, and it has to be the one circa towards the end of the Cold War) I can imagine the Strangereal version post-Cold War would be even more content-packed given all the MRC-level intramural conflict.

It is a Chinese game that has been translated into both Japanese and English. However, the translations are really, REALLY, bad and the gameplay is more of your usual Kantai Collection copy but with planes.
I bought one about a month ago that is basically a Sony Dualshock PS2 controller without the word 'Sony' on it. Works just like a new, stock controller. Here's the link: https://www.amazon.com/Unknown-DS-PS2-Black-Controller/dp/B01BUJ9JBK/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1481829740&sr=8-1&keywords=DS+PS2+Black+Controller
It's $10.
EDIT: I haven't tried the pressure sensitivity for the buttons yet, but I can try that later.
I used an i7 4770K (£300 on Amazon) to get my good results on Ace Combat 4. Every intel quad core processor ivy bridge or above has 4 cores+4 threads, so it effectively works as an 8 core processor.
Getting great 8 core performance is kinda pricey, but not nearly as bad as that.
They actually make a Razgriz model kit. I have one but have yet to build it, but I plan on using some of the left over decals (since there are a fuck-ton) and creating creating a custom "Razgriz Mobile Suit" from the Gundam Universe.
Looks like beside Ace Combat 7, we will have another modern era flight combat game for PSVR. This game comes from Korean but no western release annoucement yet. it's the sequel of a mobile game, you can find the first title here https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.theonegames.gunshipbattle
