Correct the 5$ addon includes the 3 additional Epix channels (Epix 1 & 2, Hits).. You already should be getting Epix Drive-In by subbing to the Sling Blue or Orange package..

Sling has a deal with AirTV to bring over the air local channels into the Sling interface.
https://www.sling.com/supported-devices/airtv
But - it depends on how good your antenna reception is. If you have crappy reception it won't miraculously make it better.
It does not look like Discovery channels went to both blue and orange (at least based on the website)
https://www.sling.com/channels?classification=us
Looks like TLC & Discovery were blue; Investigation Discovery went to both. AHC & Destination America went to heartland extra. Science went to News Extra. Motortrend (old Velocity) went to Orange.
No Animal Planet as of the time of this post.
I like these but I wouldn't pay for an extra stream. That should be standard.
Looks like the Xbox One app may be on the way. It says "Xbox...coming soon" on their website. Could be 360 or both I suppose. I was hoping for PS4 but I would settle for 360.
So glad AMC has finally arrived.
This happens, unfortunately. There are a lot of reasons movies can get flagged on these services. The soundtrack might have music which isn’t cleared for streaming. The movie itself might only have has cable rights as part of its contract. There’s a movie I like from the 30s which is usually flagged as unavailable because it’s a restored version; the original unrestored version is public domain. There’s another movie I haven’t seen in years which shows on TCM every once in a while, but is completely unavailable in digital or streaming.
Looks like Shag isn’t available at all on streaming either.
I kid, I kid... But here's the thing... Sling DOES do Newsmax TV and, if they really want their Russian propaganda straight from the source, there's RT.
The way I have mine set up is I do the Sling Blue + 4 Extras Deal.
So it's $25/mo. for Blue +$10 for Comedy, Kids, News and Lifestyle Extras.
I don't know how you omitted it either, they do have a link to supported devices available from the main webpage: https://www.sling.com/supported-devices
It's also available on Microsoft Edge if you're unsure about sharing your information with Google!
Are you on Linux? If you get redirected to https://www.sling.com/devices you need to disable the supported platform check.
Press Ctrl+Shift+J to open the JavaScript Console (or find it via the More Tools -> Developer tools menu).
Paste this into the bottom of the JavaScript Console & press Enter:
localStorage.setItem('sling.disablePlatformCheck', true);
Reload the page again.
The setting is sticky so you won't need to do it again unless you clear your browser's cache.
Or just get a User-Agent Switcher browser extension, I guess.
Sling has "Extras" modules for each package that you can select; they are typically categorized and contain anywhere from 5-15 additional channels.
I don't have Sling currently, but it looked like if you went to my account you can add these additional subscriptions to your current account such as sling blue like The Hollywood Extra.

This was a good summary from last year
https://www.sling.com/help/en/account-questions/account-changes/change-subscription
>Since Amazon released Prime TV to the Android TV platform recently...
But they didn't, really. It's not just the AirTV, that won't install on any Android TV device that Prime isn't already on.
No one can really say if or when Amazon will enable that APK to be installed on non-sanctioned devices, since no one knows why they put it on the Play Store.
That said, they added Chromecast support to the Android app, so the ATV app may be coming for all devices.
According to Sling’s site, you should get NBC in Philadelphia market area. I’d contact support via chat.
Not sure what you mean by "unless my interface is glitched". What interface? Later you say your "actual Sling TV app" shows you have a 50 hour DVR.
Anyway, lots of complaints on Twitter with people trying to edit/cancel their subscription through the browser. Best to call or chat with Sling if you are having issues changing your sub.
Requires Sling Blue + Sports Extra (Red Zone included in Sports Extra)
You can check all available channels using their website. Go to this link, click "Pricing" on the menu bar, then change to the multi-stream option. There is a blue button that when clicked will ask for your address. After searching your address, any additional channels available will be listed.
Is your TV compatible with the Sling app?

Local channels are subject to availability.. so some markets will have a network while others may not. For example in NYC I have both NBC and Fox. check out this link to see if Fox (and down for nbc) are available in your city.
NFL Network and NFL RedZone are only available in Blue's Sports Extra. (I can confirm that it is there.) The add-on page doesn't show everything. See here:
https://www.sling.com/help/en/tech-questions/device-questions/multiple-screens
>You can watch SLING on all of your favorite compatible devices. The number of devices on which content can be watched at the same time varies based on the service you subscribe to:
If you subscribe to our SLING Orange service you watch on one screen at a time. Any extras you add to your SLING Orange service will be included in your single stream.
If you subscribe to our SLING Blue service you can watch on up to three screens at one time. Any extras you add to your SLING Blue service will be included in your three streams.
That button always has issues, I tried to talk to Sling over chat and they weren't any help on it. I figured out that the button is supposed to redirect you to this page: https://www.sling.com/account maybe that will help you and you can fix your account there. I currently pay for a Sling membership and I have to use that link to manage my account.
Download watch ESPN from apk mirror and sideload it. You will need some sort of mouse to properly use it.
Sling now has two packages that currently are both $20/month, a single-stream and a multi-stream package. The big difference is the single-stream package comes with Disney channels like ESPN and Freeform, whilst the mutli-stream package comes with Fox channels (FX, Nat Geo etc.) instead of Disney. Most other channels like food network and HGTV are in both packages, however the add-ons are different for both packages. Here's a link to compare them :)
When you prepay for 3 months the Fire TV box is $50 off the regular price of $99 or you can choose the Fire TV stick for free. There are also similar promotional offers for the Roku 3 and Roku stick.
https://www.sling.com/devices/offers
If you go to the link and select GET THIS DEAL on the offer you want it should explain it in further detail.
even if you already have ordered sling, they usually will give an advertised package as long as you prepay for 3 months. best way i have found to work with sling is through FB messenger, they are really responsive. i have the airtv2 with antenna setup. the antenna kinda sucks, so may want to look into a better one if you go this route. then i have a thumb drive hooked into the airtv2, and it acts as a dvr ( yes a thumb drive works, you don't have to have a HDD ) here is the thumbdrive i use.. never had an issue, and 40 hrs dvr time, that integrates into your sling app. ( for over the air only ) https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01EHG3GVM/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
There is not confirmed date although it should be here before February 9th. A representative from Sling said that they would release today, but looks like it didn't.
One of my many complaints. But according to some people on reddit, anyone complaining about the new UI just can't accept change. I can't accept change that removes functionality at the expense of making something that looks beautiful.
When I did it about 6 months ago, it automatically redeemed the value of the card, and pushed my auto renewal date to a time in the future. For me it didn't wait until my auto-renewal occurred to redeem the card. Can't say for certain how it works presently, but that is how it worked for me in the past.
EDIT: also a web article on how Sling gift cards work.
Look here... https://www.sling.com/#carousel-jam-channel-chevron-left
It appears that the Sports Extra package on Orange is only $5/mo, but it includes primarily college sports - no NFL Redzone. Also, Orange doesn't have the NFL Network.
The Sports Extra package on Blue is $10/mo and includes NFL Redzone. Blue also includes the NFL Network, but no ESPN.
They're basically two different services. They both cost $35 a month. Blue has 44 channels and Orange has 33 channels. Blue provides three simultaneous streams while Orange only provides one.
So why are they the same price?
Orange has some high-profile channels Blue does not have: Disney, ESPN, ESPN 2, ESPN 3, Freeform and Motortrend.
For a full list of the channel line-ups for both, go to https://www.sling.com/ and scroll down to the Blue and Orange boxes and click the See all channels link for both. You can then see the two services' channel line-ups side by side.
They have a bundle on their site you can get the air tv2, and HD antenna for $50 if you pre pay for 3 months of sling. airTV2 Deal
Check out this page. It describes the setup a bit more (I think there's an informational video) and shows the Air TV 2 or the Air TV Anywhere. The "Anywhere" is the newest version and includes a hard drive for DVR capabilities with your local channels. If you want DVR capabilities with the Air TV 2, you'd have to buy a separate external drive and hook it up to the Air TV 2. That's what I've done, but it was before the "Anywhere" came out. Now, I'd just recommend buying the Air TV Anywhere if you want DVR.

NBC and FOX are the only locals on Sling if your in their available location, unless you get the device and sign up for locast if your location is available, then you can get all 4 of them, but only on the Sling device. Channels that are only available through the Orange plan, including channels in the Extra's that you can only get with Orange, only have 1 stream. The channels available through Blue have 3 streams.
For example:
ESPN is only available through Orange and ACCN is only available through the Sports Extra if you have Orange, so they will both only get 1 stream.
FX is only available through Blue and FXM is only available through the Hollywood Extra if you have Blue, so they both will get 3 streams.
Here is a link to see all the Extra's and what channels are available to either Blue or Orange. If you plan to get Blue+Orange, then you would get all the channels available in those Extra's.
https://www.sling.com/service/extras#service-modal-us-one-stair-step-sling-mss-sports-extra-mss-2
Just know the prices are different if you get both Blue+Orange. When you go to sign-up, you'll see the different prices.
If you want to check out the service and see how it works and if you'll like it, there is a promo that ends today where you can get either Blue or Orange for $10 or both for $25 for the 1st month. I would suggest trying it out first before you get the device so you don't have to pay 2 months upfront if you don't like the service.
If you have any more questions or want more info, feel free to reply and I'll get back to you as soon as possible.
And, no, I am not affiliated with them, I am just well versed in the Streaming World.
Some don't allow Sling as a provider. You are SOL in those cases.
Both Orange and Blue Sports Extras have the NHL Network. Both have beINSports, which includes international soccer.
Check if MLS isn't on a local channel - I get Seattle Sounders games through JoeTV.
I just switched to Sling today from YTTV. Sling Blue will fit my needs and I got their promo where you get the AirTV2 and an Antenna for $9 if you prepay three months. Seems like a good deal.
I wish you could pause live TV, but you can't on most channels I tried (some apparently you can). But if you start the show recording, then go to your recordings and play that recording, then you can pause the show, rw/ff and stuff. I need to do more testing tonight but basically, I'm not thrilled but I'll live with it.
The AirTV2 costs around $100 anyway so for me that made it worth 3 months of Sling as as an extended test run.
Having sling be 40% cheaper than YoutTube TV was BEFORE YTTV's price hike is appealing to me. Might sign up for Disney Plus or Apple TV plus or something with the money I'm saving.
The deal I got is at https://www.sling.com/deals and scroll to the bottom. This will let me get my locals too which will be nice. And that feature will keep working even if I quit sling, I'll still have a DVR with my local channels.
You can view Sling Free in your browser at:
https://www.sling.com/deals/sling-free
Note: If you have Sling or are on a free trial, you will be redirected to Sign-In. (You can, however, view it in a Private Window in Mozilla Firefox.)
It's the one Roku currently markets as the Roku 2.
I don't think Sling ships the devices out themselves, they probably give you a promo code to buy the device from Roku. I know that's what they do for the Fire TV from Amazon (that's what I bought).
Sling actually lets you know what on demand there is before you sign up. https://www.sling.com/channels?classification=us . Click on a network then click on "See all Shows". Click on a show and it will list the on demand available.
So, they don't carry CBS or Fox News at all, no matter which package you get. But like you said, you could potentially get CBS using an antenna. Sling has a page where you can see which channels you can get with an antenna in the below link. I'd recommend checking it out before you get an antenna. If you get an antenna, you can just use that with your TV directly or use Sling's AirTV, which will let you use those channels in the Sling app.
As far as the actual antennas go, Mohu leaf is one of the more widely known antennas. Pretty basic indoor antenna, and relatively cheap. You can just stick it in a window (it's about the size of a piece of paper). Amazon also makes their own version, which i've used. If you know for sure that you want sling, and don't mind prepaying, they'll give you a free antenna if you pay for two months up front. Not a bad deal, as long as you know you'll want to stick with sling for two months.
Your TV does not have the Android TV operating system so you would not have access to the Google Play store at all. In order to get SLing TV on there you need a separate 3rd party box or dongle. You can get a Chromecast or a Fire TV stick for really cheap and those would have support for Sling TV.
Any devices or operating systems listed here would work
I'll try that.
Funny thing I tried three times now via email and the top half is the same unedited response all three times and the second half is new. Thanks for being open and willing to explain further Sling TV

Like any of the services, look at the channel packages and see what you get.
Sling Blue will get you NFL Network, Fox Sports and Comcast/NBC networks and some other sports stuff. Add the $10 sports pack and also get Red Zone Channel, NBA TV, NHL Network and several more.
If you absolutely must have ESPN then you can get Sling Orange instead or in addition to Blue.
For myself I'm not paying for ESPN for crappy Monday Night Football games only (would never watch it otherwise) so I have just Blue myself and will add on the sports pack in a week for Red Zone and then cancel it once NFL is over.
PS Vue also has a ton of sports channels.
Yes, that's the direct link https://www.sling.com/brazilian#! . I has its on base package that's designed for international channels only. Or You can add it as an add on to the Orange or Blue Package.
Looks like all you may have to do is agree to pay a month in advance? https://www.sling.com/free-roku-express?mkwid=sdwKuX53t%7Cpcrid%7C167989831912%7Cpkw%7C%2Bsling%20%2Broku%7Cpmt%7Cb%7Cpdv%7Cc&cvosrc=ppc.google.D_B_COM_Roku%20Terms_Brand_Beta_sling&cvo_crid=167989831912&matchtype=b&campaign=D_B_CO...
I sent Sling a message on Facebook and they stated:
Hello XXXX, we are sorry to inform you that Watch Disney XD and Watch Disney is not available on Sling TV. You may visit https://www.sling.com/ for more info.
Oh well...
Just found this out when reading another thread where some asked if you had to pay for another month immediately. You do not, when you select and then click continue it will pro-rate the amount based on how much is left of your month, and only for what you add. Don't know how refunds will work if you cancel. Direct link: https://www.sling.com/account/change_subscription
The deal and support are part of this announcement. ~~I doubt they'll do anything like this for Roku.~~
Edit: Looks like they do have something for Rokus. Check the Sling offer page

How exactly did you accomplish this? Exactly where?
NVM 1. Go here on your computer. https://www.amazon.com/Sling-TV-LLC-Television-Carte/dp/B00ODC5N80/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1497474163&sr=8-1&keywords=sling+tv 2. Sign into Amazon account. 3. Add to cart. 4. Send to device. (Assuming you are signed into your Amazon account on your device) you should be able to pick which device you want it sent to. 5. Settings on Amazon fire -> account-> sync Amazon content. 6. Wait a minute. Sling will disappear from managed applications. Launch sling from main menu.
1) no clue...
2) I'm under the impression the stick they're using with the promotion is the 2016 Stick. If this is the case - I'm very happy with ours... often preferring it over our Roku 3 since it seems to be less laggy
3) eh I have very little experience with the Firestick so I would have a hard time recommending it over Roku.
4) This solely depends on which plan you have (Orange or Blue). You MIGHT be able to do this though I'm not 100%.
5) A solid "probably". You will almost certainly need a VPN and to disable location access for whatever mobile app you're using (it uses your phone's GPS). There was a thread here the other day where someone was using Sling from outside the US with a VPN just fine. My recommendation for a VPN service is PIA (Private Internet Access) - I've been using them for years and I've been VERY happy with them.
6) as a former T-Mobile employee - my understanding is that when you're outside the US roaming on someone else's network? The "Zero rating" does not apply. This may be a question better suited for /r/tmobile
I'm definitely looking forward to when DirecTV Now comes to Roku so I can check it out.
I was able to install the standard android app on my nexus player using the following steps:
Using the web interface for the play store, Install: Sideload Launcher: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=eu.chainfire.tv.sideloadlauncher&hl=en
Again from the play store, Install ES File Explorer: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.estrongs.android.pop&hl=en
Find the slingtv APK from various sources, they had downloads posted before it was put in the play store, and add it to google drive. Place it in dropbox or google drive.
Sign into ES Explorer and add your cloud storage option of choice, and navigate to your cloud storage and download/install.
Run sideload launcher from the main screen, launch into sling tv, enjoy.
So it's definitely blacked out, won't play for me. I found this article that mentions that some live events like boxing will be shown later.
http://www.zdnet.com/article/hbo-arrives-on-apple-tv-and-sling-tv/
Stuff like this with Sling is starting to wear pretty thin honestly. I understand that this is basically a beta and that there's a lot of red tape to deal with, but I'll bring my money back when they figure this all out.
Sounds like the AirTV2 device isn't working right not Sling itself.
I had an AirTV Anywhere that worked great for about 20 months and died in August. I got it when I signed up for $99 and prepay 3 months.
Luckily the CC I used gives an extra year warranty and it paid the $99 plus tax. I just got this this weekend https://www.amazon.com/dp/B092GCN9NL?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details SiliconDust HDHomeRun Flex 4K ATSC 3.0 NextGen TV: 2/4 Tuners HDFX-4K and am quite impressed so far. For the DVR it takes a hard drive connected by USB so no fan issues. As soon as I connected it it had all of the OTA channels available.
So if you still have some warranty with Sling they will at least replace it, if not and you have some other warranty go for that.
I got this one and it's been working really well. I just cut the cord too. I live about 45 miles outside Chicago and get about 70 channels with it. I also got the AirTV2 to integrate my local channels into my Sling guide. Nice setup.
Of course you can contact Sling, but I'm not sure they like to give refunds, although this seems more like an issue with their feed as opposed to a user problem / device issue. I found it best to use chat (through the account page) or Sling's Twitter page.
Does it have the channels you most want to see? News? Sports? Entertainment?
They have a 3-Day Free Trial:
Note: Sling Blue does not have ESPN/2 (Sling Orange does).
They show it on their website, but when I checked on mine, I don't see that option. It's possibly missing on mine because I last paid for my subscription with a gift card. Best to chat with Sling.
The OLD Sling UI had an option in the Settings for Closed Captioning for choosing the Service Channel. If a program had multiple CC language support then choosing a different Service Channel would allow you to change the language of the CC. Unfortunately, Sling took this option away in the NEW UI.
I see Epix allows a sign in from Sling TV, but don't see any sign in allowed from Showtime Anytime, nor Starz.
However, for the other apps you can check this list for available TV Everywhere Apps.
You'll likely need to use an antenna. FOX and NBC that come straight from Sling are only available in a handful of markets: https://www.sling.com/help/en/subscription-programming-questions/channels-programming/local-channels#stream
One thing to note is Sling Orange has a limit of one stream at a time, Blue allows three steams at a time. This can be an important deciding factor for some households.
source: https://www.sling.com/help/en/troubleshooting/device-questions/multiple-screens
>Record ESPN Channels
Slingers are now able to record programming from ESPN, ESPN2, ACC
Network, SEC Network, ESPN Bases Loaded, ESPN Deportes, ESPN Goal Line,
ESPNEWS and ESPNU. So if they want to watch their favorite team winning
an epic bowl game over and over, now they can!
>
>
Digital networks, including ESPN3, ACC Network Extra and SEC Network+ are not eligible for recording via Cloud DVR on Sling.
Can't say I'm familiar with Zee so I looked it up. The Hindi channel, yeah?
Looks like Sling signed a deal with Voot and might have dropped Zee because of that. There's a 10 channel Hindi package available for $30:
https://www.sling.com/international/desi-tv/hindi?footer=true#service-modal-2
Here is the link to apps that allow Sling as logins... Of course it all depends on what package(s) you have.
https://www.sling.com/help/en/subscription-programming-questions/channels-programming/tv-everywhere
There are more then this list but here are the major ones: Bravo, CNBC, Disney, E!, FOX Business, FOX Network, FOX News, FOX Sports, Freeform, FX, FXM, FXNOW, Golf Channel, MSNBC, NBC, NBC Sports, Olympic Channel, Oxygen, REELZ, SYFY and USA
Yeah, it has been confirmed by Sling TV themselves:
SLING TV expands free DVR storage, updates pricing for new customers - Jan 27, 2021
SlingTV Chat (Just a Sling DVR info Page)
Sling is currently offering:
The HD Antenna reportedly isn't much good, so be prepared to replace it with a better one.
>The Premium Pass offer is now included across all SLING TV services: SLING Blue ($30/mo.), SLING Orange ($30/mo.) or SLING Blue + SLING Orange ($45/mo.). If you do not cancel online, after the first month you will be charged monthly for SHOWTIME ($10), STARZ ($9) and EPIX ($5).
https://www.sling.com/whatson/announcements/sling-tv-premium-pass
That sounds like refusing the "offer" is not an option, but that you have to accept it and then cancel it before the month is up, if you don't want to get charged $24. They're probably banking on some liking it and deciding to keep it, while others will simply forget to cancel it (kaching).
You can sign up for Blue and then immediately sign into your account and cancel the offer. They should still give you access to the channels until the end of your month, then remove them automatically.
I'm out of ideas. At this juncture, if it were me, I'd send an email to [email protected] referencing this reddit thread, & use a Sling supported web-browser for the time being,
I had no trouble accessing Sling Free through https://www.sling.com/deals/sling-free without a CC/DC or having to register, using Firefox on Windows 10.
If you don't already subscribe to Sling, just click the Watch Free Now link. If you do, in Firefox right-click the Watch Free Now link and select Open Link in New Private Window. Click Guide, then Grid.
Sling Free is available through Roku, Amazon Fire TV, Android TV, and Android TV devices. (Not on Apple TV.) I'm not able to access Sling Free on my Roku because I already subscribe to Sling.
maybe you should check this:
To get up to four streams, go to the <strong><em>My Account</em></strong> page and make sure that the Show me only Sling Blue versions of channels in both services box is not checked.
IMO the annual plan at $60 is fantastic value
https://www.sling.com/international/international-sports#dyn-grid-plan-tab-2-s-2
Sling actually has a very useful web page for on demand:

Click on the channel you are interested in and then click on "See All Shows". Now click on a particular show and it will show a list of all the on-demand for the show. Very handy!
Are you looking at Sling Orange ($35), Blue ($35), or Orange/Blue ($50)?
Orange or Blue: A&E, AMC, AXS TV, BBC America, BET, Bloomberg Television, CNN, Cartoon Network, Cheddar, Comedy Central, Comet, Epix Drive-In, Food Network, Fuse, HGTV, History Channel, IFC, ID, Lifetime, Local Now, Nick Jr., Stadium, TBS, TNT, Travel Channel, Vice.
Orange Only: Disney, ESPN, ESPN2, ESPN3, Freeform, Motortrend.
Blue Only: Bravo, Discovery Channel, E!, Fox (select markets), FS1, FX, Fox News, HLN, MSNBC, NBC (select markets), NFL Network, National Geographic, SYFY, TLC, USA, TruTV.
Orange and Blue have their own Extras: Sports ($11), Comedy ($6), News ($6), Lifestyle ($6), Hollywood ($6), Heartland ($6), AMC+ ($6). For instance, if you want the Hallmark Channel, Hallmark Drama, and Hallmark Movies & Mysteries, you can find them in the Lifestyle Extra for both Orange and Blue.
DVR Plus ($5): Upgrade from 50 to 200 hours.
https://www.sling.com/service#service-modal-us-one-stair-step-domestic-rs-dvr-3000-xdyonsmpt
From the support site, for sporting events it automatically tacks on 30 mins to the end, and recommends recording whatever’s next in the guide just in case: https://www.sling.com/help/en/troubleshooting/dvr-help/use-dvr#extend
Here is an example of what you should see in the Guide. The RED button in the message will look different on the LG TV though.
Not universal. Has Kanopy, but not Hoopla. Has TNT, but not TBS. Has Sling and Fubo, but not YTTV or Hulu + Live TV.
sorry for the late reply, but heres the link https://www.sling.com/international-sports
apparently theres an option for an annual prepay option for 80$/year which would be a great deal for my needs, but my problem is i cant get it, so i was wondering if anybody knew if this deal was still available
https://www.sling.com/service click "sling blue", then click "show my available sports networks" ABC is only in Chicago, Fresno-Visalia, Houston, Los Angeles, New York, Philadelphia, Raleigh-Durham, San Francisco areas.
I based my statement that watching a recording does not count as a stream on this:
>DVR on SLING, you can record the episodes you’ve got to see and watch them on SLING supported devices anytime, anywhere.
https://www.sling.com/value/dvr
I have since done the following:
Streamed CNN in Sling Orange on my Roku.
Logged into Sling.com in Firefox on my Windows 10 laptop and simultaneously watched a recording (from My TV > Recordings).
Watching a recording, under these circumstances, does not count as a simultaneous stream. I have not tested this out on two separate Rokus, but see no reason why it should be any different.
I couldn't find anything for streaming AccuWeather on SlingTV.
You can get WeatherNation via an additional package for Orange and/or Blue at an additional cost. But the original OP that created this post specifically mentioned a free weather channel - neither AccuWeather nor WeatherNation fits the bill.
Setup a new account with a different email address and get a TV Anywhere device so you can see the OTA channels.

$99 ($244.98 value) when you prepay for 3 months of SLING.
The user that keeps saying you have to wait until you're billing month is over to switch between Blue and Orange (and vice versa) is having the issue because he (she) has the Total TV Deal package which includes the Sports Extra package. The Sports Extra is only allowed in "Blue" or "Blue and Orange". You cannot get the Sports Extra with Orange only. See the Sling webpage about trying to add FS2, and scroll down to "HOW TO WATCH FOX SPORTS 2 ON SLING". You will see that is why he can't shutdown Blue, then switch to Orange. If user's don't have the Sports Extra package, then they can switch back and forth without waiting for their billing month to end.

> Yep! Should be able to get rid of it in your account! I think the base DVR is free, the $5 is just extra space.
Perfect. Thank you.

I'm looking on the Sling website and while I found this at https://www.sling.com/#faq
How does DVR work with Sling TV? All new and existing Sling subscribers (that do not currently have DVR Plus) receive 50 hours of free DVR storage. DVR Plus can be added for $5/month to receive 200 hours of storage, as well as the ability to protect favorite recordings. DVR Free and DVR Plus are available on all devices except the Xfinity X1 platform.
I was unable to find any correlating info that would indicate that DVR service is indeed absolutely optional and that I can cancel it should I choose. Are you aware of any additional info or where I might look? TIA.
If you have a 2020 LG TV, the TV's tuner will show OTA channels through the Sling app ... but it is not a DVR like the AirTV hardware. I'm not sure if this is still true for 2021 LG's and/or with the new app update (which hasn't hit LG yet, that I know of).

Sling is aware of the DVR control problem https://www.sling.com/help/en/troubleshooting/report-issues/known-issues#dvr-controls
DVR Player Controls
Issue Description
When trying to use player controls (FF, RW, Pause) on an in-progress DVR recording, you may notice that controls are not available.
Workaround (if available)
Exit playback, and from the My TV screen, scroll down to Recordings. Find and play your recording from there.

LHN is in Sling Orange's Sport's Extra. If you want Sling Blue and LHN, you'll have to get both packages: Sling Blue/Orange + both Sports Extras.
TV Everywhere is not available for NBCSN on Sling Blue:
https://www.sling.com/help/en/subscription-programming-questions/channels-programming/tv-everywhere
Check and see if it is available on-demand or search for a replay. In future, record a program to rewatch it later.
Just to let you know...if you prepay for 2 months of Sling, they'll send you an AirTV Mini for free.
You are running Sling on everything I don't have (iPad, Samsung TV, Safari). What version of Sling is installed on your iPad? It should be at 6.3.4. Also do you have an iPhone or Android phone you can try it on? How about trying on the Chrome browser?
Your page on the browser should like this, and should be similar on an iPhone except for the page tabs on top. I'm kind of stumped by what you are seeing.
Forgot to respond back here ... yep, i was able to airplay from my wife's mac and iphone to our Lg TV. However, I think it's using airplay2 .. so this may not help you at all :(
If you try casting (which is Google's version of airplay) it might work.. here's some instructions. Sure it says to a "chromecast" device, but there's all sorts of devices with chromecast capabilities built in (including our LG tv):
https://www.sling.com/help/en/tech-questions/device-questions/watch-on-chromecast
It looks like whatever device you're using may not offer rentals on the app.
I have the air tv classic with an external hard drive. It’s had issues and bugs, but works good for the most part. I like that the OTA is integrated with the sling app and you don’t have to pay for xtra per month like tablo.
Just make sure to get a good outdoor antenna, not one of those stick to the wall ones
Here’s the sling deals https://www.sling.com/deals
We got the AirTV2 because the AirTV Anywhere was not available at the time, and because they had a promo where they gave you both the AirTV2 and an antenna for free when you prepay 3 months. Currently their deal is $50 for ATV2+Antenna, or $100 for ATVA+Antenna: https://www.sling.com/deals
I think the ATV2 would be sufficient for you given it can do two streams simultaneously (you could probably make due in the other times when you need more), but if you are not already a customer I’d go for the ATVA. It’s only $50 more with that promo, and I paid ~$50 for the 1TB drive, so it comes out about even, and you get a nicer package (but can’t reuse the 1TB for alternative storage if you ever cancel Sling).
What version of android is the tablet running, it looks like it came with android 4.4 and you need at least android 5.0 according to Sling support pages. https://www.sling.com/help/en/tech-questions/device-questions/supported-devices/android-mobile
Hallmark Channel, Hallmark Movies & Mysteries, and Hallmark Drama are in the Lifestyle Extra ($5) for Sling Blue or Orange.

Not sure what order you did the sign out and password change, but on the Sling account website it states " Not sure who is using your account? If you think your account may have been compromised, please change your password before signing out of all devices. "
