EDIT: Found one that works. PM me for details. It's a paid service, but it has a brief trial period that's free, and you can pay with PayPal, which is nice. Obviously I'm not going to just post it on here, because you can bet your ass that the fuckers over at Netflix HQ are checking this thread to see which VPNs they need to block now. In which case, if you're reading this, Netflix IT guy: fuck you.
I'm in Italy and I'm having little luck. SmartDNS and Hola failed. Hola didn't even pretend to work. SmartDNS gave me an error message. I tried to get SaferVPN and to work, but I abandoned the search when I found an easier one that did work.
I'd like to give a super-special "fuck you" to Sky TV Italia, who monopolized House of Cards-- a NETFLIX ORIGINAL SHOW-- which means it won't be released on Netflix until six months after it shows on Sky TV... by which time, I will already be back in America.
Do not install any client software and never install any root certificates given to you from a VPN provider. This will enable them to hijack and inspect your network traffic. Instead, look for any provider that supports IKEv2 EAP authentication. This is the most modern VPN protocol and it’s supported natively in macOS, iOS, and Windows. (You’ll have to install Strongswan on Android to extend the native VPN system to support EAP.) Then you know for sure that they don’t mess with your HTTPS traffic because they’ll be technically incapable of it.
Look for a VPN that provide help instructions for manually configuring IKEv2 on Windows where the instructions use usernames and passwords instead of asking you to install software or certificates. E.g. SaferVPN or .
Update: There is a bug in Windows 10 stable at the moment that break IKEv2 setup from the Settings app. You can work around the bug with PowerShell.
Tunnel Bear is free. It's slow but if all you're after is login rewards, it'll do the trick. A lot of faster VPNs also give 1+ week trials, you can use one of those if you plan to play at all. I've used ExpressVPN and SaferVPN. Express is a little faster and offered a longer trial, at least when I tried the two.
Awesome list of affiliate programs. Out of all of them, I think one of the easiest ones to promote just now would definitely be the SaferVPN option for the reasons of getting paid in Bitcoin. People are still dying to get some of them! Plus, I think with the issues with cyberspying, there are more and more people wanting to make sure that they're not getting snooped on.
You should be able to do that with SaferVPN. I am using them for a month now and I can't complain the VPN does what it shall do. For a discount I would take a look at this coupon 70% discount.
RouterOS is still superior. I would suggest you look for a compatible VPN provider like SaferVPN. They have a tutorial for using OpenVPN from a MikroTik.
Ok this should work.. SaferVPN offer 24 hour trial accounts, as long as you use a new email everytime, you can get a new trial everytime.
Goto and register, then head here and follow the steps here ->
I've been watching now for a few minutes already uninterupted
SO I'll need VPN only for installing, right?
I don't plan to use a VPN while playing, there won't be issues?
Update: worked perfect, thanks! Heads up, if SaferVPN doesn't offer the free trial, NordVPN worked Perfect for me. Try it out!
Kas ExpressVPN töötab järjepidevalt? Ma maksin paljukiidetud SaferVPN eest (küll suure soodukaga) ja Netflix saab iga paari tunni tagant aru, et midagi valesti ja blokib. Ülitüütu kui sarja tahan binge'ida.
Invisible Browsing VPN is working so far; download time (or unpacking?) is very slow, though.
Disconnect from the VPN once you're downloading/unpacking the final update.
ibVPN is down, everyone flock to SaferVPN
SaferVPN to France and then FranceTVSport, you can find the link in the ribbon menu "Streaming".
Even if you don't understand French, it think it's nice to listen to the French commentators and they have complete coverage of the tournament.
Hi. I’m US based but travel frequently, I need a VPN to run on my iPhone so I can securely use public wifi on the go (e.g log into my bank app and pay bills while traveling, etc). I would prefer they don’t log activity. Trying to decide between NordVPN or SaferVPN. Any recommendations between those two or for other good iPhone VPN apps?
Yeah. Unless the AFL have constructed an awesome technology which they aren't sharing with many other companies, it should work. Remember that many/most VPN's cost $$ though so take that into account when choosing to do this. There might be tinkering on your end required.
Couple to try would be SaferVPN, Hola and
Word of warning: People report issues with these things from Australia on a regular basis with dropouts etc, I'd advise taking advantage of free trials for different VPNs (or find a free one that works! Although chances are its a case of 'you get what you paid for') and find one that works for you.
They don't have any AU/NZ servers, it's predominantly P2P. I don't know if it is R*. I started using a VPN and the problem disappeared.
There are others, even posting on here who probably don't experience any issues. If you want to try a VPN I can suggest SaferVPN. They have a 1 day trial.
I purchased SaferVPN last year for one month and it worked fine streaming through the bbc 1 streaming service.
I did some tests yesterday once I signed up again and it looks like I had to create a BBC1 account to watch. I just listed my zip code as a random london zip code and it started working.
Be careful if using google chrome, if you are logged into your gmail and your gmail is set to the US the VPN will not work. I had to run Microsoft edge (had no accounts tied to it) and launch the video in that browser, worked fine and started watching the Graham Norton show. Pumped for Saturday <3 (I don't watch semis so that almost all the live performances are a surprise in the final)
Ive tried a lot of them, SaferVPN, TurboVPN, VPN Melon, Tunnel Bear VPN... They work fine, like i can browse the internet fine, its just the Google Play where i have issues, where i keep getting the connection timed out retry error everytime i enable the vpn. I even did a fresh install of Bluestack+N on my laptop and i have the same problem. And yeah i tried to clear cache/Data from google play app, and other things they recommend with this error.
Thanks for the advice! I just tried out SaferVPN and found Netflix and Youtube load much faster on the VPN than without it. I finally get HD on Netflix, and I'm not waiting for minutes to load a 45 second clip. Bright House Networks is scamming.
Netflix has blocked thousands of dns in order to maintain their content privacy .. and now a days only few vpn is providing netflix streaming from certain streaming server which are whitelisted till ExpressVPN,NordVPN,SaferVPN etc .. i have purchased a few vpn earlier but not every paid vpn is not streaming netflix as they r blocklisted...
Personally, I always have a subscription for a VPN (Virtual Private Network) service, that allows me to have a secure connection that pops out in a number of geographical locations.
However, if you just want to do this quick thing and are truly paranoid about your credit card details, you could get a trial of a VPN, such as SaferVPN.
It could be an option?
I think I may have found the offender, or at least could narrow it down to two:
1. I recently installed Kaspersky and removed Avast. Aparently, Avast was not completely deinstalled and some remaining stuff has caused problems.
2. I first noticed that my Task Manager didn't work and when I tried to restart, that didn't work either. The reason I wanted to use Task Manager was to end SaferVPN, which somehow got stuck when I wanted to disconnect from the Network and apparently stayed stuck in there even after multiple forceful computer restarts. I noticed that when I checked my IP and it said I was located in Kassel, which is completely wrong.
I now deinstalled both and hope that it was Avast and SaferVPN works again. I guess I can set the Flair to "Solved" now. Thanks for your help!
Edit: Yeah, SaferVPN seems to be working again, it was probably the remains of Avast.
I'd be pretty disturbed to see someone watching porn in Starbucks. That being said, why should someone morally police you. Just use a VPN (and get some good headphones and a screen shield). I use SaferVPN.
SaferVPN is an excellent choice for those looking for an affordable VPN that is both secure and able to bypass streaming restrictions. SaferVPN is one of the few VPN providers that can override Netflix's VPN ban. That's because they use unique IP addresses on their streaming servers rather than sharing the same IP with multiple users.

Tl;dr They cover their ass with the terms of service.
SaferVPN works great for me, decrypting right now. When you connect to the VPN, make sure that you have Steam closed, connect to the VPN and change the date/time settings to the UTC +10:00 time zone or else Steam won't allow the decryption. Hope this helps someone out!
See this could be dependent on your budget, as there are many great VPN but far too expensive, so according to me the best VPN that is suitable for all in terms of price is Hidemyass or SaferVPN, it’s these two VPN that you should be happy with given the price is quite reasonable while there are enough support to make you work through nicely. If you look for others then you got to increase the budget.
For those on PC, you can use a VPN temporarily. Its a specific patch thats problematic, 2015 one. I used SaferVPN since it only requires am email, let it get the 2015 patches to be safe, then dumped the VPN and patched the rest just fine.
How about SaferVPN? They offer a 3-Day Trial. I can just register every 3 days and use it free (I'm going to try if this works). I didn't find any information on if they collect data or not, but I think they're pretty safe.
You need a VPN service with servers in India (which SaferVPN has) to get an Indian IP address, otherwise Star Sports won't let you stream. You'll need it every time you connect to Star Sports, so essentially you'll need a VPN plan.
