Try iFont app and see if it has the font you need.
It is a non root app

If you are on Mac, download and install "RoBoto_B Mac.ttf".
If you are on Windows / Linux, download and install "RoBoto_B.ttf".
If you are on android, download first, download and install "Roboto_B(iFont)_1.0.apk". Then install iFont here. Choose the RoBoto font in iFont and profit.
If you are on iphone, you are in the wrong sub.
I believe on Samsung you can only install fonts that are available from the Samsung store. You could also try an app like ifont but I don't think it works on a Samsung phone.
I dunno man just found it online , my poco is rooted and I use FontFix for custom fonts. I hate the fact that so much limited amount of fonts are available via the official app. In previous versions of MIUI theme app , back when MTZ (file format) was still supported iFont was a boon to use :)
Did you try iFont ? It sometimes work, depending on the device. Never tried it on LineageOS, but I remember getting some success with it on a stock S6. Plus, considering Lineage has built-in root access, you might want to try any solution needing root access, since you practically have nothing to do.
I'm not sure, as I don't have an S7, but in most devices, you need root along with an app like ifont, substratum or gravity box to change the font. Looks like iFont works with some Galaxy devices. Worth a shot!
Some free fonts that are available are monofonto and overseer.
You have to change the file extension. I used all sorts of custom fonts on my S6. It involves one app from the PlayStore. It was this: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.kapp.ifont
I downloaded the font, changed something and then I found it on default font change option. It's on Google (that's how i found it) but I'm too tired to look for you right now. Floods in my part another long day tomorrow.
Good luck.
Thanks for the support! In Nova, you can change the font color in Nova Settings>Desktop>Icon Size and Layout. The pink hex code is FF009F.
To change the font, maybe use iFont?
If you have a Samsung or rooted phone, I think you can use iFont. Otherwise you'll have to get some custom launcher that supports custom fonts.
Yea, use Ifont (at least thats what I use) or any other font app. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.kapp.ifont&hl=en
I assume a root app like this is what you're looking for
I think you can do it using this app (works on Samsung phones and some others), you just need to download the font separately.
S6 can change emojis without root.
• Download ifont https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.kapp.ifont
• Install/browse this.ttf file via iFont https://app.box.com/s/maqak2h41zufov6xixk5jgpxbw5u08zh use"Samsung mode' ( Xda emoji port Credit: BoHasssoN) or any other compatible emoji font set you can find online.
• you can use any keyboard, but preferably use one that supports the newest emojis. here's the Pixel Gboard dump for Marshmallow https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=745425885120693506 Find/Run LatinIMEGooglePrebuilt.apk (*Sorry, i dont have the file by itself)
Her Snapchat captioned images should now have the new ios emojis, new emojis will also show up on the keyboard, messages, instagram or any app that doesn't use its own font.
Here's how it should look https://i.imgur.com/wqvpyhS.png

You can also apply the font using this app
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.kapp.ifont
No problem, happy to help.
You could try ifont to see if it works on Android One, but for most things resembling stock Android it does require root
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.kapp.ifont&hl=en
choose font , and follow the instructions
Maybe try something like https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.kapp.ifont&hl=en_IN
If you have an android phone you'll want to download an app called ifont (below)
And get the text called: Averia Libre
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.kapp.ifont
I've used this in the past.
Perhaps try using iFont (no root, creates a ttf apk - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.kapp.ifont&hl=en) with Noto Sans (https://www.google.com/fonts/specimen/Noto+Sans) ?
Just like /u/huangrant wrote, you "just" have to unroot, update and reroot if you want to have the lastest updates.
Else you don't have to do anything else.
Agree, one of the things I really did miss from WP. Looks just as great on Android as well.
Personally I applied it using iFont.
I used iFont.
Look up a tutorial on how to use it because it is different for every phone.
Hope this helps!
