You need to first uninstall your app that is using Tachiyomi app id (eu.kanade.tachiyomi
) which may or may not be the official one/signed with different certificate. You might want to export/backup your library properly before you do this though.
If your device doesn't allow you to search via package name, maybe try using something like Package Name Viewer and find the app using that eu.kanade.tachiyomi
application id.
yes, you can:
adb shell settings put global policy_control immersive.navigation=apps,-com.teslacoilsw.launcher
where "com.teslacoilsw.launcher" is the package name of the Nova launcher. "com.sec.android.app.launcher" for stock launcher. you can find out about app's package name using a Package Viewer. separate apps with commas if you want to do this to multiple apps.
There is a free app on Play Store called App Package Viewer https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.csdroid.pkg that will show you the package names of all your installed apps. You just have to replace the messaging app package name with WhatsApp package name and change the shortcut. The package names are for the notifications (how the buttons light up and bounce when you have something new)
use this to get the package name
then run this command via adb replacing packagename with the actual app package name for the one you are trying to get rid of
pm uninstall -k --user 0 packagename
I'm not exactly sure about warranty details for your device so I can't tell you if this would void your warranty or not. This method should not require root and is reversible though.
You will need ADB setup, here's a tutorial: https://www.xda-developers.com/install-adb-windows-macos-linux/
You'll need to identify which app package is responsible for getting updates from the update server, disabling the app will obviously stop updates from being downloaded. You can use an app like this to list all package names. In my case, I have a Samsung and the package name for me is com.wssyncmldm
and is just titled Software update
it will be different on a Sony phone.
Now, using ADB you'll want to enter the command:
adb shell pm disable-user --user 0 <System update package>
(without <>)(use .\adb
if using Powershell or ./adb
if using Mac/Linux)
To re-enable the app, just use:
adb shell pm enable <System update package>
Download package name viewer 2.0 (app store) on each different device and search for camera and gallery. The name is different based on the model. Struggled with a TCL device on kiosk mode.

Hope this help

Maybe there is something that is being repeatedly copied.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.csdroid.pkg
Download this app and maybe try disabling some bloatware with adb and check results
Just disable yt app using adb..
https://fossbytes.com/remove-facebook-bloatware-oneplus-nord/
You can use this app to find package name- https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.csdroid.pkg
After disabling, just go to default apps in settings and the option to select links should appear for yt vanced.
OK install this or something like it
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.csdroid.pkg
use it to get the proper package names for these apps and then paste them into a google search. you won't be the first person to have wondered what certain apps do so you should find something to help you make a decision.
Hello You can not delete the weather service from android 11 with the application you can do what you want here is also a pretty good list for safe debloating https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/guide-eu-in-rom-realme-ui-debloat-list.4084795/ From my observation I know that you can't delete also com.coloros.healthservice and com.heytap.appplatform (restoring by adb doesn't help, the solution is to format the phone by recovery) To get package names for deletion I recommend this apllication https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.csdroid.pkg I removed about 109 packages Greetings
Try maybe this if you know how to use android usb debugging. https://webadb.com. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.csdroid.pkg pm uninstall -k --user 0 [package name]
To get this to work you need to download an app called Package Name Viewer https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.csdroid.pkg this will show you the package names of all your installed apps. Simply go into Globals and change the package names for each of those 3 apps to the app package name of the apps you are using. If you use Gmail that one is already set to gmail so it should work when you get a new email.
Yup you have to do 2 things. First go into the Shortcut tab and change the apps to your apps. (Each hardware manufacturer uses their own apps to handle things like phone, camera etc. So they have to be switched to yours).
Second for phone, messages and email (if you use something different than gmail) you need to download a app called Package Name Viewer https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.csdroid.pkg it tells you the package names of every app on your phone.
Go into Globals in KLWP and scroll down to where you see the package names I put in for each and replace them with your apps package names.
This will allow those buttons to react to new notifications you get for those respective apps (when you get a new message for example the messaging button will light up and bounce letting you know you have a new notification).
I know it seems like a lot but I tried to make it pretty straight forward. Let me know if you need me to go into more detail I'd be happy to help 🙂
Use this app to check if a given app you're removing is a user app or a system app (even a lot of OEM stuff you can't uninstall normally falls under user apps). Don't touch anything that's a system app
You need to find out what the package names of the apps are, I installed this which makes it really easy: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.csdroid.pkg&hl=en_US
It allows you to view the package names for all of your apps. To set the URI it's basically androidapp://
followed by the package name (like androidapp://com.twitter.android
).
If you tap/long press on the app on settings, does it take you to info on that app? Try that, if not install an app called Package Viewer, search the name of the app (10355) and check what the package name is (should be something like "com.app.name").
You said "the app" but didn't mention what app. is it gonna be any app, or a specific one?
If that shape is supposed to appear when there is a notification, no matter from what app, you can use
$if(ni(count)>0, output 1, output 2)$
Optput 1 adn 2 can either be the size of your shape, or its color (transparent = no show, opaque = show).
If it's supposed to respond to a specific app, use this
$if(ni(pcount, com.facebook.orca)> 0, output 1, outpit 2)$
Replace "com.facebook.orca" with the package name of the app you're interested in. You can find the package name by using an app like this or by looking at its play store link.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.facebook.orca is a play store link for facebook messenger. You can see at the end of this link is "com.facebook.orca", this is the package name of your app.
There are multiple ways, such as :
Package Name Viewer 2.0 https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.csdroid.pkg
Or an app manager like:
Link2SD https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.csdroid.pkg
I believe Flipboard Briefing's is com.flipboard.boxer.app
, you can find package names by listing them with ADB, this can be inefficient as you could have over 200 different apps installed including system apps. Or some apps from the Play Store will list packge names, such as Package Name Viewer 2.0, and have some functionality like being able to search for apps and their package names.
Hmm the plot thickens. That's 100% the US unlocked model and not a mysterious single SIM European version (The V40 only comes in one 'rest of world' dual SIM flavour outside of the US and Korea IIRC, LM-V405EBW).
A cursory Google returns this same issue on phones from Moto and Huawei, so I'm thinking this isn't anything to do with B&H or even LG.
Next step is to identify the package name of the app sending the notification - com.something.somethingelse - for further investigation.
Try an app like this one to get the package name easily.
Use Package Name Viewer to view entire package list.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.csdroid.pkg
Alternatively type: adb shell 'pm list packages -f'
Format for removing app:
(replace 'com.appname' with package name below)
pm uninstall -k --user 0 com.appname
What I have removed below. Keep in mind I've installed Google apps so am removing some LG stock apps. This will remove them for user 0 only - performing a factory reset will reinstall everything.

That's not the package name. adb shell pm list packages
should show all package names, this would also work.
Make sure to be using it through adb and not a terminal emulator app.
Hey!
If I understood you correctly, you want to get the number of notifications for all the apps in the notification tray; so you want to get the package name of apps.
To get the app package names:
Or
Cheers.
Install package name viewer in your phone. That will show you all package names.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.csdroid.pkg
Search for its package name https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.csdroid.pkg
Great apk to get your emulator details from.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.csdroid.pkg
I use this mofo for package names.. it's worth checking out if you want/plan to do this for a bunch of your apps
You CAN get rid of Chrome. My smartphone has no browser on it and its android.
Pro tip. I have no web browser but I kept the google app so that way I can still search things on the go it just doesn't open links.
Anyways here is how you get rid of Chrome (or any other app)
https://www.xda-developers.com/install-adb-windows-macos-linux/
https://android.stackexchange.com/questions/56620/enable-and-disable-system-apps-via-adb
If you need the package names install an app like this one: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.csdroid.pkg&hl=en\_US&gl=US
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.csdroid.pkg
I understand that you can do this in wearos itself but this apps makes it a little easier for me to navigate.
Yeah it really is easy. Even if you pay someone to use their computer for a day (and/or even pay someone to help you and do it for you it would still be cheaper than a boringphone.
These are USA links but hopefully they work:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.csdroid.pkg&hl=en_US&gl=US
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.fei_ke.greyscale&hl=en_US&gl=US
You can view apps real name with "package name viewer". You can download here
https://www.xda-developers.com/install-adb-windows-macos-linux/
I'd also install the package names app. So you can get the names of the apps you want to uninstall. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.csdroid.pkg
I have a samsung phone. Here are things I did with ADB:
-Uninstalled a ton of built in apps, including Samsung Browser, chrome, youtube and facebook I also uninstalled the built in calendar and replaced it with google calendar. Removed digital wellbeing (the app the tracks the time spent on your phone) and installed a better app. I like block https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.wverlaek.block because it shows my phone usage back 6 months. I have my weekly usage since January on it.
-Uninstalled Bixby (Samsungs verison of Siri) and installed the app "Button Remapper" this turned the dedicated Bixby button into a shortcut button. For example, pressing it once pauses/plays music and a double tap turns the flashlight on and off.
-Installed the grayscale app and made it so I can turn greyscale on and off easy without going in a million settings. Grayscale is in the pull down quick settings where you turn on/off wifi, etc.
Another thing about the block app is you can limit the time spent on certain apps. If you limit certain apps before uninstalling them, then when you install them again the limits will still be in place. And don't worry the limits aren't hard to work around, it doesn't completely lock you out of an app permanently. My point is I'd limit addicting apps first and then uninstall them.
Ya!
I would suggest using this to find out the package name you want to remove: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.csdroid.pkg
If it's a Verizon model, I don't know that you can flash anything new on it
What you could do is this though
Basically, download the adb folder here, connect your phone to your comp, go into developer settings and turn on usb debugging, open a terminal (Mac) or powershell (windows) window in the adb folder, download an app like this that let's you see each app's package name, and then follow the guide all the way at the top to uninstall certain pieces of bloatware
There are some apps that will cause trouble if they're uninstalled this way, but at worst it just needs a factory reset to go back to normal
You can try this. App
I downloaded this app to help in scenarios as this. Might look for something similar so you have a backup?
Yeah your right, you could use ADB to disable the software update, you could use this to find the name of the package
I see you've already found it, but I've used this app to search for package names: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.csdroid.pkg&hl=en
If you know the exact Android package name you might find it.
Install this app on your old phone to obtain the name: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.csdroid.pkg
The update is installed to the data partition unless they had an OTA update last night. The original Google Play Movies app is a system app, this is update would be in the data partition, which means it is not a system app.
Just because something isn't removable doesn't mean it's a system app.
On my Google Pixel 5, that app is a user app. It is not able to be uninstalled without root (but can be disabled in the user settings). You can use this app to find what packages are "user" and what are "system".
As I said, if OP didn't have a system update last night, then it's literally impossible for this app to be a system app.
That doesn't make it a system app. System apps are only system apps if they're installed on the system partition. This partition is read-only except during system updates outside of the OS (when it reboots, it'll go into the system recovery, which allows the system partition to be updated by signed updates... this is why you need a custom recovery if you're rooting or installing 3rd-party ROMs because the stock recovery won't let you flash updates that aren't signed).
Unless OP had a system OTA update last night, it's impossible for it to be a system app.
What it likely did was simply update through the Play Store and "replaced" the old TV and Movies app in the same way updates for system apps are pushed. The original app is left untouched on the system partition and the update is saved on the data partition.
Apps that are installed in the data partition can be marked as uninstallable and undisableable, but that doesn't make them system apps.
Use this app to see what packages are actually system and what are user. Google TV on my Pixel 5 is a user app, but is unable to be uninstalled without root (although, it can be disabled through the system settings).
