While beign trapped at Haneda airport by Malakas sending my plane somewhere else I can add my first impressions from the Black Night as well:
This night was one of the two best BM shows I've ever attended Both shows combined where really one long concert. Whatever they make out of it, I'll buy it! :)
Yesterday they seemed a bit nervous, but tonight the girls really seemed to enjoy the show more and you could recognize it every minute. The calll and responses, the smiles, the high jumps in Headbanger! and of course the "We are BABYMETAL!" victory lap.
They played OD and Mischief!!! Both of them I considered lost for the live shows forever!
The Kami Band really shone tonight. Not only during Mischief and their solos, but also in the end when they huddled during IDZ to play some of the bridges between the "We are BABYMETAL!" These guys are such a great unit!
Best Headbanger! version ever! It's one of my all time BM favorites dating back to the "Moabanger" version in Cologne. I had tears in my eyes and goosebumps when the intro started, and then I moshed so hard I nearly tripped. I hope the guy who was caught on the screen while falling on his knees will get his moment immortalised on the DeLoreans! :) Thanks also for the staff to let this happen!
My fear was for nothing! Everyone was standing despite all the seats! The ushers from Wembley can learn a thing or two from their Dome colleagues... I was up on the balcony for the second night. No room for jumps or wall of death there, but this might have saved me from certain eviction anyhow. :)
What to do with the neckbraces now?
MoiMoi both having a go at "We are BABYMETAL!" on the third coffin stage. They were allowed a few "Thank you!"'s in the past and always rocked "4 No Uta", but this evening showed they all three can really share the moment!
It's on dailymotion as well btw.
Edit: MEGA link for the 1080p 60fps video.
Took longer than expected to upload as my net crapped out halfway through the first attempt to upload it.
I'm pretty sure this doesn't break the rules as it's not a DVD/BD and is just a tv capture. It's nearly 1 AM here, I go sleep now.
Welcome back Mr. Malone!
~~There is a separate link under private videos for sharing them.~~

Yeah, Su's not just reading off a script. Her English has come really far; she's at the point of having enough vocabulary to feel like she can express what she wants to express once she picks the right words out of her dictionary. So she still has to do a translation of concepts into a smaller set of words (sort of like the book Thing Explainer) but she's got the confidence to do so.
Welcome aboard!
I've been a fan for over four years now and a part of this subreddit for about three years now I think. BABYMETAL fans are some of the kindest people you will ever meet and its like everyone, not just here on reddit, but at any show around the world are all one big family.
Once you experience your first show, you'll know what I mean.
Enjoy your stay and don't go too much down the Sakura Gakuin rabbitho... Oops, I think I've just said too much and sacrificed another innocent soul.
Anyway, have fun, and before I go, there's something you have to see.

As far as we know they are treated really well, the best source we have on that might be Mori-sensei, from the radio show he did reviewing Tokyo Dome. At 1:26 of [Part 1] he talks about being worried they were being pushed into a way of performing that was not their choice and that being the reason why he hadn't attended a Babymetal concert since shortly after Su's graduation from Sakura Gakuin. He quickly realised this was a strange bias to have when he saw how amazing the Tokyo Dome show was and regretted not going to another show earlier.
In [Part 2] 0:36 he talks about meeting them after the show and finding that they were even more wonderful than before.
I recommend you listen to the segment in full, it's quite interesting and fun to hear Mori's perspective :)
I've been trying to track this back myself. If you watch GJ at the Big Fox Festival. The opening and closing "da-da-da....da-da-da.... da-da-da-da-da-da-da" clapping section, Yui barely bends, Basically just tilting her head. It's also very noticeable during the leg lefts of Megitsune and any time she does one of those hip jerky things in the choreo. If you compare to prior years, her skirt barely moves. Another example, jump to about 4:07 in Yava and watch Yui. She barely lifts he left leg during that section of the choreo. There are numerous examples of these things.
The back brace..... yep, it's there. Not only is the outline visible in some shots, if you watch closely, you'll see there is never an arch in her back during performances, it's always a straight line. It looks like something that covers from her waist to about 2" to 3" below her armpit. I'm trying to figure out when she started to wear it. It was sometime during the Five Fox Festival as I can find no evidence of it in fan cams during the U.S. support tours. However, if we are honest with ourselves, we all noticed a reduction in performance intensity during the the support tour as well. This includes Moa, who I think dialed back the intensity of her performances to make it less obvious that Yui was not at 100%.
Some who have experienced chronic back pain are likely familiar with Predinsone. "Moon Face" is a known side effect, the swelling of the face and checks resulting in a rounded appearance, something that may have been noticed in Yui's appearance. If this is the case, the root cause of the problem would be inflammatory in nature, not mechanical.

So there are 3 options we see so far.

It's a very old picture in fact :p
But anyway, welcome to reddit! Please enjoy your stay!
Obligatory 'Have you seen Metrock?' If not, check it out:

One of their best sets to date with a very energetic crowd.
Will release on December 6th. Amazon Japan link
It includes a thorough report on the Japan Tour and the new changes + something about Ohmura (outside BM).
It's been a long time since I posted something here, don't have that much time to offer.. but for Yui, this drawing is the least I can do.
I was, like most of people here I think, sadden by your unannounced absence at the latest tour.. But I believe in you and I know you'll be back, in the time you know best. You've got my soul in your hands since quite a few years now and knowing that reassures me that you are well.
This is your day and for sure is an amazing one, take good care of you.
Releases: April 11th
> It was also announced that BABYMETAL will decorate the cover of the magazine "Pia MUSIC COMPLEX (PMC) Vol. 13" released on April 11. In an interview in the journal SU-METAL and MOAMETAL talk about future development, looking back on 2018.
They are both on Amazon US
The vinyl for the debut is also a good price too! :D
Articles, including interviews, to be published on this issue would be those translated from articles on Vol.4 of the Japanese edition issued last December in Japan.
Hi welcome! That feeling, as u/imboredatworkdamnit said, is happiness. Everyone feels it when they start listening to BM. And its normal to find a need to binge, that phase will last for a long time (I started listening to the band in March and while it has worn out greatly by now, I still find myself wanting to watch vids). Obviously, Yui wasn't on the past tour, so this is kind of a weird time for us. The fanbase is... well... different right now lol.
Also, Have you Met Rock?
Hi welcome to the one! This is definitely one of the weirder times to becoming a fan lol. Have you Met Rock?
I found BM while looking at a youtube channel that made funny edits to songs. This happened in March of this year. I was bored one day binge watching his videos and I found an edit of Headbanger. (side note: I heard of BM from fine bros years ago but I never watched the react videos until I started listening to them. I thought they were like a meme or something because fine bros did reactions to memes a lot back then. At some point I found out they were a band but never checked them out). I thought the Headbanger was good mainly because it was heavy. I found the original and then I did some research. I thought they were sisters for some reason lol. When I found out they collabed with Dragonforce, I immediately checked out Road of Resistance. I wasn't completely hooked until I found Karate in the suggestions, and it wasn't even until the chorus that I became a fan. After that, I went on a binge watching spree which still lasts to this day, although it has worn out greatly lol.
I actually found them before the tour and could have easily gotten tickets, but school got in the way. If they had come a week later, I probably could've gone because school would be out.
Hello friends, I'm back ! Kinda. I didn't drew much lately, but I finally did my little project.. A drawing design I'll put on a tshirt someday soon.
Also, just for your eyes, a close-up look at an angel.
On the Reddit Is Fun app (Android): Go to Settings, Content Filters, Post Filters.
I can't find an option on the mobile site.
EDIT: Sync For Reddit (also Android) has it as well, but I have no experience with that app.
The difference is that London and Budokan were released by Earmusic for a lower price, the $90 you mention is probably the Japanese release, $30 (even lower) is the European (or international) release. The same applies for Live in London, feel free to look at the releases list at Discogs. The only difference should be the color of the BR case (Japanese release is black, international is blue).
So.. It all comes down to whether Earmusic will release it. They'd be silly not to do it, Jonathan & co. better be bugging Koba about this day and night :)
Congrats on your first post 😊
These answers are gun to my head answer in 10 seconds cause you're going to die lol. I've been through way too many hours to pick one and I'd rather not torment myself to figure it out.
Yui and Su: (the whole thing is a gem but Yui takes the cake: https://youtu.be/np1hmrYUojY Su is anytime she laughs which is all over this clip as well.
Moa (5:40):https://www.dailymotion.com/video/x217dnc
I've noticed moa loves being complemented and praised not only individually but as Babymetal as a whole. Don't know how I noticed this no more than how I can explain how it turns me into mush.
If you love Yava got to check out the Big Fox Festival version of it!
https://www.dailymotion.com/video/x6gpgga
And welcome to the crazy somewhat insane cult.... I mean family!!!! Yeah.... Family... We aren't a cult. Don't forget to go back to Babymetals humble origins and check out Sakura Gakuin.
(I don't remember where I got it so I uploaded it to Google Drive. Mini Pati appear at 2:10 and perform with Professor Sakamoto, one of the composers of Mini Pati songs. On the Vine they practice a choreography of Logica, the sub-unit that appears at the beginning of the video)
Lucky you! I really wanted to go to Download, but wasn't able to because I'm a financial nightmare right now.
In regards to learning Japanese, there's a lot of resources which can easily be recommended, but it all depends on your personal learning style. I would definitely recommend Japanese from Zero which I'm currently working through, they have books which are £19 ($28) on Amazon right now, but what's an easier route through this course is the free JFZ videos hosted by George Trombley -; this guy literally is hilarious and teaches in a very good way. However, he does personally mention to use multiple sources for learning since when it comes to learning the language, each teacher bases their content of learning on their opinion of what they think you should know.
Welcome.
Always I smile when I see these posts like yours, it's like someone going to a weight watchers meeting and turns out everyone there is actually a 'feeder'. Enabling addiction. ;-) Not gonna deny I'm the same, but one reason is, we don't really know what the cure is, probably don't even care LOL
Have you seen the customary Metrock 2015 yet ?:
Thank You for remembering.
You can also get the video with the softsubs already baked in here.
and if anyone can translate the two missing lines, I would update the .ass and video as well.
She probably knew the meaning, I don't think many Japanese people are that sensitive about it. It happened quite some time ago, and they've since rebuilt and prospered. https://www.shutterstock.com/search/hiroshima+cityscape Imagine an American who hates Japan visiting modern day Hiroshima, it's almost comical to imagine them walking around saying "Didn't we level this place?" with https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Hiroshima_aftermath.jpg in mind.

One last reminder, but this is the last week that "Velcro the Ninja Kat presents Kip" on DVD (also featuring Sianostra, Dream Girl, and The Red Scarf) will be available on amazon, as it's going away after June 4th. So anyone interested in getting it, now's your last chance. ;) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08BR6J6H6
As some of you might recall, I started a new job at Zynga a while ago. Well this week my team put out a new game - Game of Thrones Slots https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.zynga.gotslots
Personally, I'm a bit amazed that slots games are so popular and bring in a lot of money. Anyhow, this is officially licensed and pretty cool, as far as slots go anyhow. I expect you guys are not the right demographic for it but check it out if you're curious :D
We also have a much cooler Harry Potter game almost ready and of course, we have the Star Wars licence so something is happening there.
Here's a thing I did a while back
Amore fancam from their Wembley show, with audio from the live cd. I didn't like the official recording, the way it kept cutting away from Su to get crowd shots... damn heretics, not capturing the Queen's dance.
https://www.dailymotion.com/video/x6ls07o The One Utrecht 6th June UHQ Audio , uploaded to a somesort of throw away account on Dailymotiom just over 5 minutes in 1080p60fps Also greetings from animecon the Netherlands
Here ya go. There's a clearer copy of that somewhere but I'm too lazy to search lol.
Also, you're not too weird. I myself can't help but think of Muscle Sisters when I see my Manowar CDs.
Just in case folks have not seen the close in "near proshot" video of that event, it's capture in a DVD that shipped with the 2014 World Tour Apocalypse Limited Edition box set........
You're very welcome. The other, more well-known one is Singapore:
https://www.dailymotion.com/video/x53d59b
(this post fills in a few small gaps in that translation)
Hey welcome to the one! Yeah same thing happened to me years ago, I saw the fine Bros react video in the suggestions but never watched it because I thought it was a weird viral video/meme. And when I did listen to a song, I just went down into the fox hole. And I'm still here, a month later lol. You're lucky that you bought tclickets, by the time I started listening to them, the tickets in the show near me were sold out.
Also, obligatory Metrock comment
It's a liveshow streamed each week. The girls of Sakura Gakuin host it and i guess talk and play games and provide entertainment for an hour. Yui and Moa were in the first 10 episodes before they left SG and moved on to fulltime Babymetal. Here are all the current available episodes with varying quality of subtitle. The first episode is sort of awkward and endearing but already at the second episode, they've picked up the slack and seem to be in their element. I'm guessing the show is meant to be viewed by female children and early teens and older Idol fans. It becomes readily apparent just how young these people are just from the subjects they raise.
I like some BABYMETAL Reaction videos and don't care for others.
Posters seem to be doing a good job using the 'Reaction Video' Flair.
I've heard (don't use it myself) that if you use the Reddit Enhancement Suite you can block posts by Flair.

Actually, /u/jamiejamez created an even better subtitle, which provided labels for the pie charts, too. I don't know if that one exists online, but here is the subtitle file itself (.ass format) on Mega.

Yes, this is one of the best examples (that kept being taken down) of Su's eyes darting around the room (I believe subconsciously taking in information) while the others pretty well stair straight on. If you look for it, she does it at various levels now and then. At Metrock 2015 as she has the flag slung behind her for ROR at 0:38 you can notice it as well. To me it is one of her endearing traits and a small window into how her brain/mind must work.

I did a quick Google search and couldn't find anything else related to BABYMETAL, but I've found this short video uploaded in 2013: Graphic Novelist G.M.B. Chomichuk gives insight into his craft, so if you want to put a face and a voice to this man, there you have! (it's interesting what he says around 1:30).
Here is in the Amazon US site.
You can get great ones on Amazon. Eargasm ones have served me well for years now. Been to many different shows and they work great. Try to put some money into good ones that lower the volume of the sound entering your ears and not muffling it like the cheap foam plugs. You still want to here the fidelity. These are the ones I use. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B019M576XW
You can use amazon gift cards if you dont have a credit card.
i think the only things comic/graphic novel ive read are Walking Dead (MUCH better than the show, honestly) and the avatar the last airbender comics.
Only other one i can think of off hand is one called Hexed. I read the novel version of this first and it was quite good, as was this. It falls into the "Young Adult" category though, and is just the one "book/issue". (at least in physical format).
Yeah, was sorry to read that in your thread. Luckily mine turned up in the UK unharmed from Amazon US. I got Su/Yui from one seller and Moa from another, cost me £117.00 including postage.
Might also be worth ordering Yui/Moa from Amazon UK here for £12.99 each (just in case they do find some from somewhere, will only be charged when/if dispatched):

Depression seems to be a fact of life these days. Well, it has always been and it could be said that we live in the best of times considering the technologies we have available to us including access to the web. Nevertheless, the incredible access we have effectively leaves no stone unturned. Sometimes it can all be just too much to handle.
Everyone goes through down times. I found that BM gave me a new interest and a focus that I had not felt for a long time. My interest has tapered a bit but I am still enjoying BM in a more subdued way. It is a source of great comfort and joy. So is this community.
You might want to check out the work of Victor Frankl: Man's Search for Meaning. The book is based on the writer's experience as a prisoner in a Nazi death camp and he shared his insights and his conclusions that enabled him to survive. Short book, great read. Finding joy in life, and letting yourself experience that joy without guilt or concern about the opinions of others, is hard for some of us but it is essential.
xD

Who knows if the back injury theory is true, but an injury like that was always the most likely explanation of her absence and if this is correct it would confirm it. But we do not know if it's correct.
A very small part of me is happy we found a possible explanation, but a big part of me is not because a back injury is a bit scary, many people have long term problems with such an injury. I'm certain they have the best doctors working on it so whatever can be done will be done and because she is now not performing they can focus a 100% on her recovery and do anything they can to make sure she makes a full recovery and do the rehabilitation needed for her to be as fast and accurate as before.
Guys I've still got the original videos, with the 1080p quality....if anyone wants them, just pm me! I will send them to you private because I don't want to upload them on some kind of website.

HOWEVER - both cities are going on simultaneously on both days, and each have at least two stages with the bigger draws going on at the same time, so coverage is not guaranteed, certainly not 50+50 minutes. ~~The fact that the MC is talking about BABYMETAL is an excellent sign viewers will get some good coverage at some point, though.~~
edit
WOWOW schedule shows no coverage of Babymetal whatsoever :(
I'm not completely convinced I'm going to be seeing them live; it seems a bit far-fetched. Unlikely. And yet here in this sub 123 of the people who filled out the poll have seen them, so it must be possible! I've seen video evidence!
Not too far from the stadium is Dublin, Ohio, where you can take in the view of a field of cement corn - http://www.tripadvisor.com/LocationPhotoDirectLink-g50285-d3492249-i106983162-Field_of_Giant_Corn_Ears-Dublin_Ohio.html
(and people think Japan has weird stuff)
There's also COSI - the Center Of Science and Industry, as well as the Columbus Zoo (the zoo's director, Jack Hannah, has been on Letterman and other similar shows many, many times).
Columbus also has a full-size and working reproduction of the Santa Maria, the ship that Christopher Columbus sailed on: https://youtu.be/9KXW2c02OC0
All of these locations are within 20 minutes (depending on traffic on I-71 and/or I-270) of the stadium, with COSI and the Santa Maria just across the Scioto River from each other.
Can't read the report, but came across these job postings for the Amuse USA office:

> Amuse Group USA, the L.A. branch of a Japanese entertainment corporation (BABYMETAL, ONE OK ROCK, Perfume)
So there are the three pillars.
Welcome aboard....I'm still relatively new myself. Here are 2 more must see videos.....among many...
I really don't know since I bought all their stuff and just listened to the CD's. But I would assume no because they are let's say old fahsioned. They don't sell different versions of their CD's like for example Babymetal with limited and fan club editions etc. So I don't think that they feel a need to have their music on such platforms.
Oh and they release their music only in Japan.
Edit: Somebody posted their newest album here for stream. But it's one audio track instead of seperated songs.
The CD code is PPTF-8044, here it is on Discogs.
The Ultimate Fan Spreadsheet refers to it as a May Revolution Exclusive version, and says:
> Mail in offer for your ticket to May Revolution
P.S. The photo used on samuraibuyer is one of the ones already on Discogs (click on "more images"), so it probably was not actually taken by the seller. Make of that what you will.
Google Translate produced mostly nonsense, but when I looked up the most problematic words in http://jisho.org I could see that they had a LOT of different meanings (It must be easy to make puns in Japanese, lol). Then I selected the meaning that made most sense. I have tried this method before translating manga. It's quite fun, it's like trying to crack a secret code
I can't verify it, but it's not odd for idol groups to make announcements at their concerts (it's actually pretty common).
Sakura Gakuin was a very Awesome surprise for me when I first got into Babymetal. At first I was like this music isn't my type. But as you learn about each girl, and how much they changed Su, Moa, and Yui, you start looking more into it. What got me really hooked to Sakura Gakuin is their newer stuff and Band Ver. Of their older songs and their most recent members. The Song My Road is something I listen to before I go to bed sometimes. Their music can help me calm down after a long day. It's like a Ying and Yang... Babymetal pumps me up in the morning and throughout the day, Sakura Gakuin helps be relax at the end.
My Road released last year.
From the 2016 MTV Inside: BABYMETAL Metal Resistance special, at the 11:56 mark.
You may need to open in new window for timestamp to work. Here's the special with English subs for anyone who hasn't seen it yet.
He does when playing for BM, not outside
Bonus Funny Hideki Moment (don't know why I didn't post it before in this thread, lol)
I felt the same way, BM new songs could be permanent goodbye to kawaii-metal signature, or maybe it's just Koba's experiment to reach new fans territory.
When people says new BM songs is growth/more mature, I don't agree, I think it's just their strategy to be not a niche anymore, because from musical view, new songs are more simple, less technical and more generic, or just like you said: radio friendly.
Also not to forget about new dancers, pop crowd love persistent background dancers, who do nothing but dancing.
Will this radio friendly strategy succeed in west ? maybe, if they put more money on marketing, PR and media coverage, like Gangnam Style do, but I see Amuse PR already failed in the first day when fans questioning Yui absence.
Anyway, I wonder how Japan fans reaction on this new BM path, because they are still main BM market, while I can see non-Japan fans has already split their opinion on this new BM direction.
Ah...maybe not. They have the guitar solos so must be regular version...darn. That would have been a hell of a treat for the NY fans.
I love this :)
DeepL-translated comments from the creator:
>The movement from pose to pose is quick and crisp, so the swaying of the costume and hair works well. (After all, this dance is all about the costume and hair.)
Footwork and center of gravity movement are also fine.
It is like old martial arts, like moving while lowering the center of gravity.
It is interesting to draw ^_^

I do like the shelf. Unfortunately (or fortunately, as the case may be) we have too many blurays for shelving like that. We have had to resort to storage boxes. Fun part is finding what we want to watch in this situation. 😂
There was a music box album, and then this lullaby album, which includes the twinkly music box element but also has other instruments. I remember finding these a while back and listening to all the preview clips on Amazon, but the only one I thought really worked well was The One.
A couple of BABYMETAL concert blurays are on sale for 8.99 Euros at Amazon Germany:
Babymetal - Live at Budokan/Red Night & Black Night Apocalypse
Babymetal - Live in London/Babymetal World Tour 2014
Nah, but apparently rare now... I bought them off Amazon for about $20 a piece but now the set goes for $200... Babymetal set that is; Godzilla, Green Lantern, Spiderman were other purchases...

Make a spray of hot pepper and dish soap. Make sure trash cans are secured.
I had a problem with squirrels getting into my crawlspace. This device seems to be working for me. It may work for raccoons too. It's cheap enough that you may want to give it a try.
I reccomend this app, Just make a folder of your favourite Babymetal pics (Preferably portrait), Use the folder as the source and tweak the settings to your liking. It won't appear as a app it will appear in Live Wallpapers when changing it :). This is what i have done and i get a new picture everytime i swipe, its great :)

Michael Weikath of Helloween on Babymetal in the 2016 MTV Inside: BABYMETAL Metal Resistance special, at the 11:56 mark.
(you may need to open in a new window for the timestamp to work)
Legend 2015 - New Year Fox Festival was released, too. Like the Budokan Black Night or the London CDs, it was The One only.
Well, you always have to remember:

Also in Japan their idea is: everything has a soul. So who knows how she thinks about these things.
The short answer is yes ffmpeg can do all of that. I made another video. I went much more in depth and I talk about another program that can help. I hope it isn't all rambling and it is pretty dense. If you don't want to use it then you can sift through the network monitor and download the youtube streams from there manually. As always you can ask me questions :)
Well ffmpeg is a command line tool so I guess they all generally look the same. I made a video to explain a little more. vid.me compresses the shit out of its videos so I put this on MEGA. I spoke without a script and you can tell lol :)
Watching right now, he's wearing the Loud Park (wolf) t-shirt, I guess he's been on for 53 minutes. I understood "shocking pink" and "fret" from him showing off a bass, but that's about it so far. OK, and "Jack" for Jack Daniels whiskey :)
I won't be able to watch for long, though.
Robk reactes to IDZ at the Tokyo Dome: https://www.bitchute.com/video/buka5ihFBEAI/
It has the concert audio (he forgot to mute it) which is why he put it on bitchute so it could be watchable online somewhere. The next morning he did a second reaction to the performance it with audio muted, so he's not seeing it for the first time, but he does have an even firmer opinion on his feelings about the show and the band:

>!It's the best concert he's seen since he started his reaction channel!<
Well I uploaded the file. I used the synthesize edges stabilizer so I didn't have to zoom in (hence the slow encoding).
I'm not to keen on the result but it's pretty darn stable.

They really would look extraordinarily sick on t-shirts!
I went and removed the black background and superimposed what remained on a black t-shirt, just to see if it'd look cool.
As i envisioned it, there's one for Yui, Suzuka and Moa. So 3 shirts with front and back design or six shirts. it doesn't really matter.
I came across this problem while on vacation in Japan a few years ago (I'm American). Apparently it's because of old cultural taboos. See this.
