Injustice: Gods Among Year One Complete Collection from Amazon is $16.99 for all of the comic books from Year 1 of the Injustice series. It's well worth it in my opinion and if you like it other collections are available for similar price.
As a guy born in the 80s, fuckin hell, video games are starting to look incredible. Beats this.
I got it on Amazon! But beware, it is much larger than you think. Definitely not a shelf item unless you have a very big space to display it!
Get the Greg Rucka novelization of No Man's Land. It's a much better story, if you don't mind a book without any artwork, aside from a killer map of Gotham. The comic arc is good, but it gets bogged down with side stories that don't go anywhere, just to fit in some of the rogues gallery. The novel cuts that stuff out.
Also, there were two PF one-shots released in 1995 to promote "Batman Forever", one with Riddler and one with Two-Face, and they ended up being AWESOME. The Riddler one is called "The Riddle Factory", and the Two-Face one is "Crime and Punishment". They're super cheap, too.
Edit: Noticed you need more Elseworlds, too. Check out Gotham by Gaslight, Red Rain, & Holy Terror.
The bare breast may seem titilating or gratuitous, but I'm sure it's not: https://www.quora.com/Art-History/Why-does-the-woman-personifying-Liberty-in-Eug%C3%A8ne-Delacroixs-Liberty-Leading-the-People-appear-with-her-breasts-exposed
My favorite is probably from '89 Batman. It is actually conversation between Vicki Vale and Bruce Wayne, after she gets into the Batcave and finds out that Bruce is Batman.
Vicki: But I don't know what to think of all this, I really don't/
Bruce: Look, sometimes I don't know what to think about this. It's just something I have to do.
Vicki: Why?
Bruce: Because nobody else can. Look, I tried to avoid all this, but I can't, this is how it is. It's not a perfect world.
Vicki: It doesn't have to be a perfect world.
I think it sums up the struggle that Bruce Wayne goes through, that he carries this burden of grief and vengeance, that he has to constantly be out there putting his life on the line so no one else will have to experience the pain he has gone through.
Here is the clip btw http://www.metacafe.com/watch/an-DQSFu2m77hYtY/batman_1989_come_clean/
Another gem from this comic is a youngster being asked to watch The Joker's car and breaking down over the thought that no matter how he answers Joker will probably kill him.
Neil Gaiman also wrote a very good 5 or 7 paged comic where Joker & Bats break the 4th wall as "actors" about to "film" a panel for a comic, free to read here.
You can buy it digitally for $1.99 an issue on Comixology or for $16.99 in paperback on Amazon.
Mirror Video Here EDIT: Updated 7pm
Gordon: "We were in this together, and then you were gone. Now this evil rises. The Batman, has to come back."
Bruce: "What if he doesn’t exist anymore?"
Gordon: "He must. He must".
Rocksteady is supposedly done with the Batman series. I don't know if that implies the Arkham series or Batman as a whole.
http://www.ign.com/articles/2014/03/28/the-end-of-arkham-why-rocksteady-is-done-with-batman
Death of the Family was just one story arc (story arcs are typically 6 issues long) in an entire run of Batman that's 52 issues long written by Scott Snyder, drawn by Greg Capullo. The arc before DotF was Court of Owls and the arc after it was Zero Year(Which is set before Court of Owls and is a retelling of how Bruce became Batman). But the story arc after Zero year, called Endgame is directly after DotF and involves the Joker again Amazon link
No one in this thread has ever seen a bottle brush apparently. Shit they even have these rad ones at amazon.
On the very nature of your "edits": you're using extremely low resolution pictures, the edges aren't correctly cut at all (we can see the stair-like cuts on both Batfleck and Batmanimated), you're not working with colors or lighting to make it look like a single picture, nor you're creating anything. That's litterally a copy and paste of overlays, but hey, it's a start! After that, there's the composition, but that's mostly a matter of taste, so, why not: if you like it that way.
I'm not saying "stop doing that" at all, on the contrary. If you want to keep at it, please go on: it's a great hobby, and you seem to enjoy it a lot. But you seem to realize it, you have some space for progress. First advise I have would be to switch from your phone to a proper computer. Try to use something simple at first: GIMP is great, open-source and available on Windows, Mac and Linux, and Paint.NET is not as complete but easier to handle at first, also free but only available on Windows. Read some tutorials about any of those softwares, and if you're invested, you should see some progress already. There are probably some good subreddits on that matter as well.
Oh, now to be mean a little. First, I don't believe it took you hours, maybe one if you're not that fast. Second, don't ask not to be bullied anymore: I think that's the 3rd of your titles of this type that I see, you might invoke pity the first 2 times, the third is just annoying.
Comixology has been pretty handy so far. They have a huge collection.
Here, you can read Batman's very first appearance for free.
Of course he does, he's the director - they tend to do that. What I'm saying is that he's very bad at editing and continuity, which can be easily proved and argumented, so there's no need to blindly downvote me.
A prime example of this is the Joker chase sequence in The Dark Knight:
I would strongly suggest The Black Mirror as well if you haven't read it. Also one of Scott Snyder's best.

A review below on the Amazon page for the digital version says it's just the first half of the story, volume 1, so this book:
https://www.amazon.com/Batman-Under-Hood-Vol-1/dp/1401207561
I'm guessing it's issues Batman #635-641, but is lacking 645-50 and Batman Annual #25.
Contact Amazon to clarify would be best, probably.
> I don't get all the hate surrounding origins.
You must be one of the lucky ones who didn't have bug issues - I envy you. I played it on 360 and there was a REALLY bad save corruption bug in that game. You would regularly have full system lock ups that required a reset of the console [like you couldn't just dashboard out of the game]. I actually lost a save with about 70% completion and had to start over from the very beginning. Because the game crashed so much and I knew those crashes could kill my save I just rushed through the campaign on my second play through - I didn't really get to enjoy the story or take time to do side quests because I just wanted to get to the end without it killing my save again. I mean, it was pretty bad....
....but then it got worse. WB actually had the audacity to say they have no plans on really fixing any of these issues because they're focusing their efforts on paid DLC [source]. That was flat out the biggest FUCK YOU I've ever seen from a game developer. We can talk about Dice/EA/BF4 all we want, but we at least see they're trying to fix the issues with that game. WB basically said deal with a broken product.
And THAT is why I absolutely LOATHE Origins.
>Photography for me started with the sole purpose of creating my own artworks of my toys when I was younger. Today, I shoot for global and local advertising clients in Istanbul but shooting the 'heroes' that I grew up with is my favorite habit that stuck with me to this day.
I remember this being addressed a couple times. The following was found here.
>I'm Lebanese and speak Arabic, so perhaps I can clarify this. "Raysh" is actually referring to the Hebrew version of the letter R, "Resh," which means "head" or "chief." The Arabic contrast to Resh is "Ra," and it too means "head." > >In Arabic, you'd pronounce "Ra's" like "Raw-uhss." > >Ra's = Head >al = of the (or simply "the") >Ghul = Demon/Ghoul > >Ra's al Ghul = The Demon's Head or Head of the Demon > >Denny O'Neil apparently researched how to pronounce Ra's al Ghul. For whatever reason, he chose to use "Resh" rather than "Ra's," and that ended up giving the character an Arabic/Hebrew hybrid of a name. I'm not sure what the Hebrew word for "demon" is, so I can't say whether or not you'd pronounce the "al Ghul" part the same way.
I don't know if that is true at all but it's a good enough explanation for me. I've always been partial to the "Raw-uhs" pronunciation for whatever reason.
If you watch the IGN Rewind Theater of The Dark Knight Rises trailer 3 it looks to be Selina Kyle(Catwoman). Check it out here
Nah, the belt was purchased from Amazon. Here is a link to the item if you were curious: Fox Outdoor Products Military Belt, Olive Drab https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00545WAFO/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_TOL1BbH1R1FE5
I agree with /u/FlyByTieDye in that you don't have to read from #1 - I'd advise picking and choosing stories that interest you - but Comixology does sell the Batman "Golden Age" collections: https://www.comixology.com/search?search=batman+golden+age - these are literally the comics from the 1940s, from Detective #27 onward, the very very start. They're...challenging to read by today's standards, but I find them interesting as historical artefacts.
I just downloaded a converter to my computer (.cbr/.cbz to .pdf) and transferred the converted .pdf to my mobile. Safe and it works great. Also google ".cbr to .pdf converter" if you want a different one.

There was a brief scene cut from "The Dark Knight Rises" where Bane is seen doing the same training and wearing a prototype version of his future mask, per Lindy Hemming (costume designer).
Image was created for a contest on Steemit, but sharing here on /r/Batman/ just because I wanted to share it with Batman fans.
Start here for Bat Gordon. They're on issue 5 for the arc, and it's really good so far.
Infinite Crisis. A digital comic that ties into the PC game of the same name. Here is a link to issue #1. Personally, it's alright, there are much better comics out right now. But if it interests you, go check it out!
If you want digital, Comixology is your best bet. If you want physical, you might have to track it down. But they did release New-52 Batman tradebacks and they are available at Barnes & Noble and Amazon and a slew of other places, including your local comic book shop.
HAHA one day. I've gone as so many random/unknown characters in the past, feels nice to finally have something recognizable. Love hearing from a fellow MST3K fan.
Are you going to Birdemic tonight?
Also available on Amazon too! Link
I'm not sure. Let me get back to you on that.
Edit: so I found one on Amazon (https://www.amazon.com/BATMAN-DEATH-FAMILY-COMIC-PRINTING/dp/B01N4OIUDE) and it's selling for $32.99... I'm not sure if that's how you would know how much it's worth but I guess it's a good ballpark?
Amazing! Is Mask of the Phantasm included in your TAS series? If you already have the TAS movies may I suggest for your next aquisition:
My camera isn't working right now, and I lost my phone. I will post pictures however, as soon as I get my camera fixed (soon). I will post the tutorial I loosely followed though:
This is essentially how I made it, except that I used tinfoil instead of a plastic bag. I also used black duct and electrical tape. (Electrical tape gives it a smooth looking surface, like rubber.)
Do you mean single issues (current stuf) or trades (collected editions)?
I use Book Depository which ships from UK, so it should have a quick turn around for you, and it often has huge discounted prices year round. This is where I get the majority of my trades.
I don't really do single issues much, but maybe digital would be easy, like Comixology or a similar service? Maybe someone with greater knowledge on that front would be able to chip in and give some advice.
I hope this helps!
Comixology is a service where you pay for comics - think iTunes for comics - but they have some free stuff on offer. https://www.comixology.com/free-comics
And if you want any comics, not necessarily mainstream superhero ones, there are a bunch of ace webcomics out there! Browse some "best webcomics" lists, find one right for you.
he says it's not the snakepit studios one
it's made by a guy called John Prue or Prueskids on etsy.
he's even using a picture of my buddy's Deathstroke cosplay on his etsy profile as promo :)

I plan to follow Batman: Eternal. That preview in Batman #28 won me over. $3 every week for over a year. Here is a short summary/teaser of the first few issues.
In the works. http://www.ign.com/articles/2014/01/13/foxs-gotham-is-a-batman-origin-story-and-will-have-a-christopher-nolan-esque-tone
Earlier rumours said it's focused on Gordon. But it's actually Smallville for Batman.
The Flashpoint Comics are pretty damn good as well. And they go on sale very often at Comixology. The Batman Flashpoint comics are awesome. here is the link to the comics
Like I said tho, wait for them to go on sale and grab the collected editions.
Thank you, I'm glad you enjoyed it :) I was also curious about that one as I had never heard it before, so I did some research and it is from #1 Batman... here And if you want to see all the other Joker quotes you can go to https://en.wikiquote.org/wiki/The_Joker
This actually just re-kindled my love for TAS comic "The Batman Adventures."
On my way to Barnes & Nobels right now to pick up Vol One
It's going to be a "silver age prequel." The story line will be about Batman's first meeting with the Joker, and a couple different DC superheroes will make an appearance.
Source: http://www.ign.com/articles/2012/07/11/arkham-city-sequel-will-be-a-silver-age-prequel
Thong can also refer to a strip of leather. http://www.oxforddictionaries.com/definition/english/thong Given the age of the comic this is the most likely context. I like to think it was a "thong" though ;)
Thats the plan! i just need some more money to buy materials for that stuff. i'm kind of broke right now, student broke. i started a Patreon page to help with that but it hasn't really been successful at all X)
For essential reading I would recommend:
For more recent (New 52) stuff I recommend:
Scott Snyder's Batman run. Really, really enjoyable modern take on Batman. Its fairly easy to get into and only up to issue #39 right now. You can buy the volumes either digitally or physically.
The recent Justice League run is enjoyable and has some great Batman moments.
Hopefully this helps you somewhat. And if you didn't know, New 52 refers to a reboot DC Comics did in 2011 where they reset everything and basically started everything fresh. You can easily pick up early issues of other Bat characters (Batgirl, Nightwing etc) and go from there. Good luck and happy reading.
She starred in Gotham City Sirens with Catwoman and Harley Quinn. Paul Dini wrote a good portion of the series; he is well known for his work on The Animated Series. It ran for 26 issues.
It can be expensive to collect the trades of this series, even though they were just released in 2012. You can download the series at a few places, Comixology being the most notable, if you're into digital format.
Sorry, as a student of Arabic, its DEFINITELY RAAZ. I don't care how the animated series or Denny O'Neil says it, the Arabic word for "head" as in "head of the demon" is pronounced Raas.
This is the best Batman cartoon ever! Kevin Conroy voice is the best voice of Batman in my book! ʘ‿ʘ
Compared to what you listed, here is a book containing the first issues of Batman from 1939 onwards . There are 6 paperback volumes.
I think you should read “Super Sons” or “Superman/Batman”.
Ok, I did some research. According to this the 25th Anniversary trades have the entire thing.
Already exists as its own hardcover, and will be in the Snyder/Capullo vol 2 omnibus!
I may have snagged one of the last new ones.
EDIT: NVM there's still a few for a limited time. i originally sent the wrong link.
Nightwing Year One can be fairly difficult to find in paperback. Amazon usually has them for ~$50, which is really high. You can read the story arc on comixology for ~$12 if you don't mind digital comics.
An alternative may be to watch eBay for either a trade or the single issues to pop up, but that's unlikely. For some reason DC just won't reprint the Nightwing volumes.
As for a Robin Year One, I'd recommend this paperback. It contains both Robin and Batgirl year one stories. I would say both are equally good stories. The Batgirl story is a personal favorite. For $18, you're getting over 400 pages of Year One stories, which I think is a great deal.
Not sure about Batman... But godzilla is the S.H. Monsterarts Heisei Godzilla.
You can preorder on amazon:
Bandai Tamashii Nations S.H. MonsterArts Godzilla 1995 (Birth Ver) "GodzillavsDestroyah" Action Figure https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00JC66OIA/ref=cm_sw_r_udp_awd_gt47tb0NN921Z
As you can see from this thread, Identity Crisis is a divisive book around these parts. A lot of people are very vocal with their distaste for it but I personally loved it. Well worth the read to decide for yourself.
Found it on amazon:
Someone else has done their own version of it and Amazon has that one too:
Thanks OP for introducing me to this poster.
Have you read any of the New 52 stuff? Scott Snyder does some early days stuff in the main book and some guest writers contributed one-shot episodes chronicling Bruce's various travels/trainings (edit: before he returned to Gotham and became Batman).
EDIT: Most, if not all, of that background stuff occurs in the "Zero Year" arc which can be purchased as volumes 4 and 5 of the new series. Here is the Amazon link to volume 4.
Hey there! I personally haven't got the new Knightfall omnibus, I only recently got the 2012 trades, but if you were concerned about shipping (I'm also not form US or UK), then you could use Book Depository, which has free shipping world wide. It does have the 2017 Knightfall Omnibus, though it looks different to what's posted on Amazon, though I can assure you, it has the same ISBN, so it is the same, so long as this is the version of Knightfall you are talking about. I know this didn't really answer your question, but hopefully it helped in some way!
Not the same size statue. I have the same Andy Kubert statue you have pictured and it's going for $250 on Amazon right now. Mind you my wife bought the statue for the same price as the mini (70ish dollars) but it was during a flash sale on Amazon last year.
Here's the link to the larger statue: https://www.amazon.com/DC-Collectibles-Comics-Designer-Batman/dp/B018V3VSZS/ref=sr_1_2?s=toys-and-games&ie=UTF8&qid=1510716236&sr=1-2&keywords=batman+andy+kubert+statue
About 2.5 years ago DC launched their "Rebirth" branding which serves as a jumping-on point for new readers. I would suggest starting with Volume 1 of Rebirth for both of those series. Here are links to their Amazon pages.
I highly recommend this volume. Most of the original issues are really cheap on ebay too.

Kubert's great. I thought that scene where Batman fights the Man Bat ninjas in the pop art gallery was brilliant.
I know it's probably not what you are looking for, but have you seen this one?
Ahem. I believe these would be best suited to that task.
There is also this one by kelly Jones http://www.graphittidesigns.com/shop/BATMAN-KELLEY-JONES-Regular-Edition.html . Not everyone is a fan of Jones' batman but I really enjoy his gothic almost vampireish take. I own it it's really nice.
Also there is one that Jason fabok did the cover for called a batman a visual history. Art from 1939-2014 with descriptions on key issues, tons of art and comes with to prints done by fabok.http://www.amazon.ca/Batman-Visual-History-Matthew-Manning/dp/1465424563
I'm currently reading Batman and Philosophy and I think it addresses stuff like this really well.
I'm not sure if there's a collection of this, but the Penguin story is included in the volume Penguin: Pain and Prejudice, which I found to be a decent read, and which this story fits well in terms of tone.
There's a product made by smooth-on called XTC-3D that's a 2 part epoxy. You can order it on Amazon.com for pretty cheap. You mix it up and paint it on. It's self levelling, dries in a couple hours, then can be sanded and painted. IMO it far surpasses the alternatives of glazing putty or some of the other fillers.
Edit: http://www.amazon.com/XTC-3D-High-Performance-Print-Coating/dp/B00PFXK4JY
Yes I know.
But in some cases the Crime Syndicate Earth was also designated Earth 2
Just as a heads up in case you aren't aware - that 25th Anniversary copy of "Knightfall vol. 1" is not the same Volume 1 as the one that goes with the other volumes you have; it's just the first half of it. You'll want to track down the 25th Anniversary "Volume 2" to go with them, otherwise you're missing a big chunk of the story. I'd also recommend getting "Prelude to Knightfall" alongside that, but it's less essential.
I use tack/putty for everything, it's holding Peter's head on lol. I decided to go with McF's Arkham City head. McF heads scale small, might be perfect for MLs, just shy of my NECA Batman head.
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B09VVF2XW3/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Comes with a grapnel launcher and maybe, just maybe I can use the belt too.
I initially used a marvel legends retro punisher head as my main Bruce Wayne head bc it’s got the black hair and blue eyes
I now use the McFarlane Dark Detective head bc it works on both classics and stylized suits like Arkham.
Also if you’re looking for something similar scale to marvel legends I’ve found this Batman fits better than other McFarlane figures and is closer to the dc essentials line
Batman Knightfall Vol. 2 Knightquest would be next then Vol. 3 Knightsend. Both available on Amazon.
Paul Dini's Detective Comics run
It's one of the more Detective versions of Batman that I've read. Sometimes Detective Comics in lieu of the standard Batman runs are used to showcase the batfam (like Tynion's Rise & Fall run), so they aren't always Batman centric/detective stories.
Tomasi's latest run was pretty fun too.
Yeah. Here's a link to a collection of the earliest ones on Kindle. https://www.amazon.com/Batman-Golden-Detective-Comics-1937-2011-ebook/dp/B01IO7OKTM
Would you be able to return it and get it on Amazon? It's $18.69
No, you're right about that. It's the same universe as DKR. It doesn't make any sense but that's what the stories' creator says.
http://www.ign.com/articles/2006/02/06/comics-in-context-119-all-star-bats
According to Frank Miller, All Star is in fact a prequel to Dark Knight Returns
http://www.ign.com/articles/2006/02/06/comics-in-context-119-all-star-bats
> In his recent interviews, Miller has been quite clear that the All-Star Batman and Robin stories are part of what he calls his "Dark Knight universe." Hence they are not part of the official canon of DC continuity, whatever that may be this week, but are prequels to Miller's The Dark Knight Returns and The Dark Knight Strikes Again, which are clearly set in an alternate version of the DC Universe.
Goyer did talk about it in an interview with IGN, here's an article about it. He said the following when asked how the DC television properties are going to tie into the upcoming films
>I mean, it’s too early. I know that Warner Bros. would love to make their universe more cohesive. There have been a lot of general conversations about that, but it’s really, really early. I’m not sure. Marvel has had enormous success, but I’m not sure that everybody should try to emulate them either. It’s just been vague conversations so far.
You can read the interview here http://www.ign.com/articles/2014/04/08/david-goyer-says-warner-brothers-would-love-to-make-their-dc-universe-more-cohesive
I don't know about natural enemies.. Where the inspiration may have come from is the owlman in the alternate universe. Other than that, theres no real legitimate tie.. thats why its not really thaaat cool of an idea. Wiki answers states that .. "Because bats can fly and can roost in high out of the way places, bats do not have many predators. Snakes, raccoons, opossums, skunks even tarantulas prey on bats as they roost in trees or in crevices. Some owls and hawks have been known to snatch one in midair for dinner."

I'm so glad I pre-ordered it, Amazon already jacked the price up.
It can still be had at Wal-Mart for what I paid for it from Amazon -- 46.39.
https://www.walmart.com/ip/Batman-Brave-and-Bold-Bronze-Age-Omnibus-1/51332929
Target has it for 50.99
Instocktrades and Amazon both have jacked it up to 70+.
If you're interested in Batman from the '70s and especially these Brave and Bold teamups then this will be a fun book. Also it is 900 pages.
Gotham City Monsters specifically issue 2.
Not King
You joke, but there actually is a comic sort of like that. It was made years before the whole "heroes don't do that" controversy, too.
If you don't know, DC's actually doing a kind of story like that now called DC: Mech.
The originally Birds of Prey series by Chuck Dixon and Gail Simone is the best place to go. Oracle is one of the main central characters. Ran from 1998 to 2009. Much of it has been collected in TBP. Here’s a link to the first volume.
I have all of those sets! So sadly they're mixed up in our massive bin of Lego and I don't think I'll ever have the time or patience to re-assemble them. I loved them so much back then. I remember my mom and I searching around the city like mad looking for Arkham Asylum before eventually caving and buying it from eBay.
Think it was near $200 back then with shipping but now it's...$1500, holy shit!
There’s an explanation for it, I think it’s in this book. I have it at home but I’m at work right now. I want to say it was a section of unfinished subway tunnel that was abandoned by the Waynes back in the days of Bruce’s grandfather or something. Maybe not a subway but it was definitely some sort of abandoned project that was tied to the Wayne family.
Batman: Nightfall - BBC audio with Dirk Maggs. I loved it when I was a kid. https://www.amazon.co.uk/Batman-Knightfall-Audio-Dirk-Maggs/dp/0563510994 . I also clocked this one by I think the same team but haven't heard it - https://www.amazon.co.uk/Batman-Lazarus-Syndrome-Dirk-Maggs/dp/1408467216
Yes, it is a movie. Briefly explained, Batman and Superman learn each other's identities. Also Lois Lane becomes romantically interested in Bruce Wayne, to the chagrin of Superman - but she despises Batman.
Batman Superman: World's Finest (1997)

Batman: The Man Who Laughs and The Batman Who Laughs are two VERY different things.
