I don't judge people by their government.
But when it comes to translation I found out this site is better for it: https://www.deepl.com/translator
You don't need to do that, but I'm just curious how would the translation looked like, if you had used that site?
I would recommend Brdy, which is a hill range south-west of Prague, very easily accessible by train (~20mins from Smichovske Nadrazi towards Beroun). You can plan a route that takes you to Karlstejn, an awesome medieval castle.
I'm not sure how much you know about hiking in cz, but it's amazing! There's a huge amount of signposted routes everywhere. You'll notice them as a colour strip (red, blue, green or yellow) sandwiched between either two white strips (walking only) or two yellow strips (walking/cycling). You can use mapy cz and switch on the "tourist" map (which here means hiking rather than tourism) and it'll show you the routes.
>>how do i pay?
>Do i buy a ticket at the station
If it is staffed, yes.
Or you can get and pay in the app - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=cz.cd.mujvlak.an
>or in the bus/train?!?!
With a surcharge of about 30 CZK IIRC, would not recommend this option.
>people (with vague English) didn't recommend this And I don't get why.
Going to take a wild guess and say it's because it's (Os)obní, not (R)ychlík, i.e. generally slower and shoddier.
Once the pandemic is over, try it here. You will feel right at home. You might not meet anyone, so just enjoy the scenery. The nearby castle is a busy place, though.
You can download it or anything Czech for free here at uloz.to
I had Harry Potter audiobook CDs read by Jiří Lábus (very good Czech actor) as a kid and listened to them when I was ill and had to stay in bed.

Doslova...co má společného albert s tímto :D Je to 100% scam a kdo tomu věří je hlupáček.
You can to get a torrent for pimsleur czech. It was pretty good for my wife. Just search for it. Audio version. I have gotten them before. You can play them on your phone or car stereo.
edit: have a look here, looks like there are some Czech resources. https://www.reddit.com/r/languagelearning/comments/5grr6e/language_learning_resources_900_gb_and_much_more/
Second edit: I believe there are a number of excellent pimsleur audio files in this torrent https:// thepiratebay.org/torrent/10651456/Pimsleur_Complete_Language_Collection
To make it easier for anyone wanting to help, the Czech post has an app that allows you to take a photo from your phone which they print and send as a postcard.

I recommend this:
http://chalupa-kaproun.cz/wp-content/uploads/2015/06/dablova-prdel-korner-pavel-001.jpg
It is called Ďáblova prdel (Devils arse), but it is really out of hand. Personally, I have never been there, but some day I will visit it. Just for annals reasons.
Here is the map:
https://en.mapy.cz/zakladni?x=15.2584964&y=49.0876383&z=16&source=base&id=1931936
I'd suggest IDOS https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=cz.mafra.jizdnirady&hl=en it's available in english. I live in Prague so I use mostly Google Maps, but it doesn't have train information so it isn't good for inter-city transport.
PubTran has always worked really well for me - mostly because usually when I open it (and perhaps enter part of a destination or start), it already knows which route I likely want to take.
IDOS and Můj Vlak are also worth looking into.
Hello Czech, this might be a very cool phone wallpaper for the community, hope you'll like it! Made with Sphaera for Android
For starters, try out duolingo Czech for English speakers, I think they are currently in beta version https://www.duolingo.com/course/cs/en/Learn-Czech-Online From there you might also want to speak as much as possible so try getting some lessons from a native, try finding someone to speak to on https://www.italki.com/home Then watch movies in Czech preferably with czech subtitles and read in czech a lot too (books, news, magazines) Edit: also I think you need to do a language test to get citizenship
Hi,
I live in the Czech Republic 4 or 5 months a year and whenever I need help with my Czech I use
https://www.deepl.com/translator
It's way waaaaay better than Google Translate, which can come up with some really weird sounding or non-sensical translations.
It can translate between multiple languages, including French and Czech. I'd give it a shot if I were you and then have someone proofread it for anything that may sound funny. But again, Deepl is pretty reliable.
I download from uloz.to and pretty much every movie has synopsis and reviw on CSFD.cz
If you like czech cinema, there are great movies. One of the most popular is Cesta do Praveku. For it's time it was the most scientifically accurate and one made with incredible effort. From the more modern one depicting national themes, Pelisky, U me dobry and Obsluhoval jsem anglickeho krale. Also the movie Fotograf.
If you stay here for long time it's paid but CG transit has never failed me. License for whole CR is only about 80 crowns per year and for me its worth it. They have trial period where you can try it out if it's worth your money.
Try Duolingo for learning Czech! :) https://www.duolingo.com/course/cs/en/Learn-Czech-Online You will probably need some grammar book or like that.
And you can ask this YouTuber (he is from USA) and he learned Czech language quite fast :) https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCR1g1XlKP3ytV-VvirbERMQ
And the salary looks great high above diameter.
There are "official trails" everywhere here, it doesn´t really mean much. If you really don´t want to sleep outside (imo much better option), just plan a route and book accomandation along with it, you can see all the accomondation options in the map. It will be a bit of a pain to plan that, but that´s just how it is.
Imo by far the best area with good accesibility from Prague is "CHKO Kokořínsko," especially the SW part. CHKO Brdy is much better suited for a bike, and really not that interesting to spend several days in (and no options for accomondation whatsoever).
If you are still looking for more sightseeings or travel tips, you could also try our czech tourists map server called en.mapy.cz, they are my favourite ones.
1) Liftago
2) Every little magazine&tobacco shop can sell you tickets for MHD - as well as vending machines at some tram stops, but you can also send an SMS to get a ticket - the details are on every stop, there are also several apps - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=cz.dpmb.dpmbinfo&hl=en
3) idos.cz, but you can use Google Maps too, they'll provide you with detailed itinerary for every journey through Brno
4) /r/Brno
Oh dear.
You should stay in nearby Olomouc, if possible. It's a MUCH nicer city, better pubs, parks, architecture. It was named "Europe's Hidden Gem" last year, or two years ago.
It's about a 15/20 minute train ride to Prerov.
If it's not possible and you have to stay in Prerov, not many places will accept credit cards. Supermarkets will, but probably not pubs or restaurants.
Try Airbnb to see if there's a place there, or even couchsurfing. If you stay at a hotel (can't recommend or warn you about any specifically, sorry), don't expect much. Prerov is not a touristy city and customer service in the Czech Republic isn't the best to begin with. But who knows, Czechs are funny people and maybe you'll get really lucky...but don't count on it.
Stay in Olomouc, seriously.
And very few people will speak English. Uči se česky.
If we are to believe this progress bar, it should reach release stage very soon, but the beta has been working for 7 months now, so I guess it's just fine already.
For learning Czech, I highly recommend Charles University's courses: http://ujop.cuni.cz/en/
Most of my foreign friends have taken these classes and speak fluently after a year of learning. Note that there will be a lot of hard work on your part, Czech isn't easy. You can get a small headstart with Czech Duolingo course: https://www.duolingo.com/course/cs/en/Learn-Czech-Online
Learning the language is the only thing I can contribute to, but you may find help in using an app like Duolingo that has a free course in it. The Czech course is not on mobile so you'll have to learn it at a computer but is a free resource you can take advantage of right away to help your move.
lots of info on must-see locations in the sidebar guide on /r/Prague . and here - http://wikitravel.org/en/Prague
if you have 2 days, that would be Old Town Square to the Hradcany castle via the Charles Bridge and either the Jewish Town, Vysehrad or something that will appeal to you.
for the night-life and meet-ups, there's always someone willing to meet here so just wait couple hours.
The Czech is number 87 country with a little over 10M people in comparison to 7.6 B in the World, sharing just 0.14% http://www.worldometers.info/world-population/population-by-country/ I am hesitant to say the "Word of Day " in Czech would be very popular.. hhmm..
OK, I ruled that one out as I did not see the building with the arches... though I "looked" from the wrong angle... https://en.mapy.cz/zakladni?source=pubt&id=15212478&gallery=1
Puclice is in the Pilsen region, in the lowlands but close to Šumava (the Bohemian Forest mountain range). My grandfather (*1940) grew up 30 km from there and fondly remembers the end of WWII, when US troops liberated their village. He was given a chocolate cube and got all dirty not knowing how to eat it. The Blacks laughed at him for being the same color as them. Later, the Soviets took all credit for the liberation, though Western Bohemia was saved by the Americans.
The fire part could be a problem - it's forbidden to make a fire in CHKOs (Protected Landscape Area) and naturally, in national parks as well. You need to find a designated camping area for that (these are usually staffed and paid for, so you can say goodbye to isolation if that's what you're looking for).
Ofc you can risk it and make fire anyway, but in recent drought it's not the most responsible thing to do and also you can get caught in which case you'll be given some dressing-down and probably a fine as well.
EDIT: Ignoring all this, I can wholeheartedly recommend the Brdy area; easily reachable by train from station Hořovice or Příbram (idos.cz is your friend for finding how to get there). It's a former military training area that has only recently been handed over back to public use and as a result, it's pretty much untouched by commercial tourism. There are some very nice places like Padrťské rybníky etc and you can traverse the entire hill range in two or three days. Just be careful with that fire, ok?
btw hope you understand that the kicking ass part was about the hockey not about your actual bums :-)
why you don't rather comment about my comment on the shitty flags? there was a page where a graphical designer commented on the world flags and it was immensely funny. it's been archived here:
https://web.archive.org/web/20060101022220/http://ahpc-jp30.st-and.ac.uk/~josh/flags/intro.html
there is very few anime dubbed in Czech, so, anywhere people from other countries do. Though some people prefer to pirate anime rather than get it streamed, and the most popular czech piracy sites are uloz.to or fastshare.cz
if you use GoogleFit to track steps and activity, it can also sync with that and reflect your calorie budget for the day considering how much you move.
Czech Duolingo is still being developed. But she could set the site language to Czech and do the English course.
Otherwise, not great. How about local courses or a skype tandem partner? Surely a Czech native would be happy to exchange some English for Czech.
Whenever you need to translate German to English I can recommend deepl.com It's not perfect, but it works a lot better than Google translator for the languages that it is available for
I'm not an expert on that, though you can find some info here: http://wikitravel.org/en/European_rail_passes
Are you an European resident? If yes, you can buy an InterRail (or something like that) train pass; non-European residents can get EuroRail, which is significantly more expensive. I'd also check if the countries you want to visit sell their own train passes; I know that the Czech Republic and Germany have one, so buying train passes for each country separately might save you some money.
It's ř, mainly. If something has ř, it usually has all the others.
I remember trying to message "FontSquirrel/Czech" about the fact that some supposedly Czech fonts don't support Czech characters but I was essentially told it's up to the font creators to specify the languages correctly, not them.
České fonty is quite good, though, although (obviously) they don't have a huge selection.
Yep....it's really just tradition. Just like how a lot of Americans watch A Charlie Brown Christmas; it's been shown every year on TV in the US since it was first broadcast in 1965 (has a great jazz soundtrack by Vince Guaraldi, too!)
Edit to add: For those who've perhaps never seen it (or maybe even never heard of it), here it is in its entirety: https://www.dailymotion.com/video/x2cgz0g
It's all right but a bit too touristy (not to the Prague's U Fleků level, of course, but still). I liked Lokál pod divadlem (https://en.mapy.cz/zakladni?x=13.3762567&y=49.7461825&z=17&source=firm&id=12963184) better.
Radek seems exactly as the OP's character. He speaks english, but tends to slip into czech when he gets angry.
All of his lines, including english translation are collected here: https://en.wikiquote.org/wiki/Stargate_Atlantis#Czech
I wouldn't believe the dates for duolingo Czech- when I last looked at it their predictions were obviously wildly inaccurate (incredibly optimistic). I contacted them and explained that, if they took n days to do 10% of the work, how did they expect to do 100% of the work in 2*n days and didn't get a response.
Mondly is a good Czech learning resource. You must pay once for it but it is compelling to try to do a little every day and I find I really retain a larger vocabulary through using it. Occasionally they have special offers too, making it much cheaper. When it first was released there were lots of errors but I think they're on top of it now.
there's no streaming service with a big catalogue of czech movies. Best is probably to just prepay uloz.to and download movies from there. If theres one recent tv show I can wholeheartedly recommend, it's https://uloz.to/hledej?q=pustina+2016&type=videos

There is a famous novel by Josef Škvorecký "Zbabělci" (The Cowards) about 1945. Amazon
I am reading this book right now and I can't recommend it enough. Do read it before you travel.
I'm using this one - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=cz.fhejl.pubtran&hl=cs
i think it's using the same data as mapy.cz
As for the Taxi, you definitely want to use the Liftago application.
(I am not affiliated, just a frequent customer.)
I hate the people on the right so much.
Russia attacked Ukraine. Like they did to us in 1968.
Russia used the "We are protecting native Russians that were persecuted in Ukraine" as a casus beli like Germany did to us in 1938.
But Ukrainians are defending themselves, which we didn't. And they are kicking Ruski's asses.
In the meantime, Ruski's regime call the dissolution of our oppressor, the Soviet Union, "the worst mistake in the 20th century" and called 1968 a "rightful invasion". They portray the Czechoslovak Legions, not as a people who were caught in the middle of civil war, trying to survive and escape, but as pillagers who "stole imperial gold reserve".
How can anyone, especially the people on the right who proclaim themselves to be nationalistic, support this kind of regime?
(not a relevant angry fun fact, I was just reading https://www.amazon.com/Concise-History-Encyclopedia-Editors-Kingfisher/dp/0753454173 which my wife bought from some second-hand shop, nice pictures, I like these short reviews about ancient civs, but I flipped to Czechoslovakia and apparently, Germany wanted "Sudetenlands returned back to Germany" after they were taken from then in 1918. -- fuck you, they never were taken away from Germany and were always part of Bohemia!)
Nice desinformation you have there. Keep your bs with 4 year old surveys and meaby try to look up current information. Ostrava is with air quality better than prague in many aspects.

I have the same issue from The Netherlands. Want to watch Czech films in Czech, yet when connected to Czech VPN servers using NordVPN I only see the US Netflix environment shows/films (based on "Top 10 films in the US today").
WEF razi jasne definovanou (a verejnou) agendu globalizace, boje s klimatickou zmenou, digitalizace a transhumanismu.
Tenhle koncept mi hodně připomíná The Numbers Game [Wiki]. Vsauce2 na tohle téma nedávno natočil video, inspirované knížkou The World According to Fannie Davis: My Mother's Life in the Detroit Numbers.
Jó, to fakt dává smysl.
To nemá s profláklou IP nic společnýho.
Great book about Czechoslovakia and how it was created in 1918 and also describes things that leed to this moment and about Czechoslovak legions in Russia basicaly controll all Siberia in the middle of Russian civil war and their way home.
It can be quite hard to get hold of many books on Czech history outside the Czech Republic, and especially in English, I've found. But a couple of ones I've liked were Prague in Black and Gold by Peter Demetz (which is available in English and Czech I believe), and there's a good one called A History of the Czech Lands by Jaroslav Pánek, though that one is probably a bit more academic than you're looking for. I did find this listed on Amazon UK - haven't personally read it so I can't say how good it is, but it looks like maybe a lighter introduction to Czech history: https://www.amazon.co.uk/History-Czech-Republic-Fascinating-Wonderful/dp/B08WZBZ4B5/ref=sr_1_3?crid=5T2UA62RNN6M&keywords=czech+history&qid=1649781653&sprefix=czech+history%2Caps%2C93&sr=8-3
If you have a specific area or period that you're particularly interested in, I might be able to give other recommendations.
Wiki praví: In his 1925 book Practical Idealism, Coudenhove-Kalergi envisioned an all-encompassing race of the future made up of "Eurasian-Negroid[s]," replacing "the diversity of peoples" and "[t]oday's races and classes" with a "diversity of individuals.

There's this app called Nenech to být ("Don't let it be" - NNTB for short). All the public schools in Czechia are obligated to use it. It's very simple, you download it into your Apple or Android device, search for your school and anonymously report to your school's employee in charge of these whistleblowing reports, which is usually Commissioner for Personal Data Protection (pověřenec pro ochranu osobních údajů) that all the schools must be employing in order to comply with GDPR, who will then inform other school employees and make an official record about it.
If all the people affected file a report like this, it won't be possible for your school employees to hide this, mainly because Czech school inspection (Česká školní inspekce - ČŠI for short) has to check if your school deals with these reports (If they for example ignored some serious report about let's say abuse, they will be in serious trouble).
And the best part is, it's completely anonymous, so your principal or other school employees will know without any student being endangered by possible backlash.
I wish you best of luck in resolving this!
https://store.steampowered.com/app/40990/Mafia/ - 9,99€.
It’s JP with CZ sub, I don’t think they ever dubbed it to Czech or Polish. At least 12 Polish subtitle files are available, you just need to find the video – which is not a problem given the lax enforcement of © in Poland.
Ahoj, nedávno jsem objevila Brain We Are Jde o podcast zabývající se psychologií, osobním rozvojem, filosofií a fyziologií mozku.
If needed try to use deepl.com for translation it is still not perfect - the part with who wishes the Xmas kinda breaks it (but it could be simply the lack of punctuation that my phone just doesn't want to add). But it work much better than Google translator. card translation
Even though you already got your answer I highly recommend using DeepL instead of Google translate in the future. Especially when you want to translate sentences and not just single words.
Well the back cover of his sideview mirror fell off on the ground. Not the mirror itself, just the carbon (or maybe steel) cover. Kinda like this one https://www.amazon.com/AstraDepot-Rearview-Mirror-Replacement-Pre-Facelift/dp/B08PCV4YCT.
And yes, he's telling me I full on broke it and he can no longer drive (Which like... It's a sideview mirror cover, what does that have to do with anything?)
Tvůrci filmu mají docela velké ambice: "Munich is an ambitious film, aiming not only to thrill but to shift British – and possibly German – views of their national story." (viz Guardian).
Používám podejto.cz a funguje to celkem slušně.
This seems better, so there's already a power converter with it, is this the right power converter ? I'm still trying to figure out how I can check what power my laptop, iPad and Samsung phone is....
citation delivered but not supporting the OP's statement. also the quality of the source not verified.
duolingo's czech course for english speaking fellas is gonna be in beta version soon, so watch out for that. other than that I'd recommend selfteaching, books and internet, czech movies with subtitles and so on.

I did some research on this for my friend. Overall they say this https://www.amazon.com/Czech-Essential-Grammar-Routledge-Grammars/dp/0415287855 book is pretty good at explaining the language. Although if you don’t mind listening as a form of learning I would highly recommend either listening to some sort of podcast or finding maybe a youtuber/series or anything and just ‘soak’ your brain in it. Doesn’t matter if you don’t understand. Once you learn some basics you should be able to catch the point of the convo from time to time. Don’t get frustrated, I always get excited with each word I understand. That’s how I learnt english and I am currently learning spanish. Good luck!! Hope this helped a little bit.
I don't know if this is any relevant, but currently there are 5 people named Schmeiser and 2 Schmeiserová's living in Lanškroun (44 people in total with those names in Czech Republic). (https://www.prijmeni.cz/Schmeiser) Maybe if you get in touch them, they'll be able to give you some info. I know you don't speak Czech, but if they're young offsprings, they probably know some English.
I also found this, but I guess you've already seen it; https://www.ancestry.com/genealogy/records/johann-schmeiser-24-22jdyqg

Deuce ..... The devil: used, with or without the definite article, chiefly in exclamatory or interjectional phrases, expressing surprise, impatience, or emphasis: as, deuce take you! go to the deuce! the deuce you did!
And what has Vodafone have to do with this? That's like being mad at Google for reciving spam in your Gmail.
You most likely shared your phone number - not necessarily publicly, it could have been e.g. car rental company or for some 2-factor login on some website where you entered it years ago, so maybe the data leaked from them. In any case, you probably won't find out. You can try to check here - it's intended for emails, but I don't know about anything more relevant.
And even if you found out, what would you do? Call them back to tell them not to call you back? Come on. Once your data is out there, there is nothing you can do to stop it. Just block the number and let it go, or get a new one.
PS: If you just want to piss off the spammer (not sure if it's the best idea when they know your name and possibly more data), google "jolly roger phone bot". You basically transfer the spammer to talk with this bot to waste his time, see e.g. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=boOqrzmlmU4 :D
Good question. I believe the rule will be cancelled soon, neither new giovernment nor Constitutional court seems to be supportive.
Constitunional court indicated its future stance on the matter.
Anyways, in general - if you want to move in extra legal waters, have good lawyer and fpollow his advice - or be completely silent.
Wise ti navic vyda EUR IBAN zrizeny v eurozone takze teoreticky objednavka platebni karty by ani nebyla nutna. Doporucuji se na to kouknout :) wise.com
You can use Revolut to buy or sell BTC, LTC, ETH. They just started with crypto. Please use my ref link to download the app. You need to order premium or invite at least 3 people to have crypto available. Verification is simple and quick. Selfie + ID photo from both sides. Thanks!
As you can see the LEGO model isn't precisely exact but if it represents Prague's Central Station and there is some park in it with some shady business, it must be the Vrchlického sady aka Sherwood.
Wow, good question. While Prague isn't exactly in center of state, Brno is practically in Moravian corner (bottom right), closer to Slovakia and Austria borders than Prague is to Germany borders. You can of course take train and travel to Prague in about three hours.
Avoid D1 highway at any cost! There are accidents practically every day and you can simply stay stuck for hours at one place! In case you decide to travel on D1, totally use Waze as it should warn you about traffic accidents in advance and offer you better route around. I never traveled here, but I heard a lot about it and it's kind of meme here.
Of course there are other "big cities" except of Brno which could be situated in better place for your needs. It honestly surprised me that for example IKEA have showrooms only in Prague and Brno, but other buildings are just warehouses. Meanwhile Brno really looks like big village compared to other big cities here :D
BTW:
https://idos.idnes.cz/en/vlakyautobusymhdvse/spojeni/ - route planner, could be pretty useful when you need to get somewhere. There is of course even smartphone app. Finds all possible routes from place A to place B in Czech Republic. You can choose if you want to use trains, buses, trams or everything together. Our train network is pretty dense, so you can get by train even to small towns usually.
https://en.mapy.cz - Czech maps portal, have even own clone of StreetView (called Panorama) with usually more actual photos.
Not po všednu, but po všech = after everyone else.
Ratíškovice is a village well known for its wine. Also has a dedicated vineyard railway. (Been there, very nice!)
Sumava is a great choice in terms of beautiful nature, but sadly the public transport around it isn't great.
Your biggest issue is crossing over from the area around Železná Ruda all the way towards the Lipno dam lake. These two parts are barely connected so you'll always have a hard time getting from one to the other by public transport. It's not that far distance-wise but a very long drive on slow roads even by car, let alone public transport.
My personal recommendation is to stay closer to Železná Ruda for the entirety of your hike. Start out in Dešenice (on the train line between Plzeň and Železná Ruda), head towards the German border and then along it all the way to Železná Ruda, through the town and use the first two "emergency shelters" at Hůrka and Poledník before turning north toward Prášily or Hartmanice where you can catch a direct bus and be back to Ruda in less than an hour.
Before you reach Železná Ruda, you will be in "CHKO Šumava" which is a lesser form of natural reserve than a National Park, it is illegal to camp there but legal to bivouac, i. e. you aren't supposed to build a tent/shelter or fire but you can lay down a mat and sleep on it. But if you are respectful to nature and hide in the forest no one will care. Once you enter the National Park you can only use the designated "emergency campsites" but you cant sleep anywhere else.
I've taken the liberty of sketching out a route of my proposal :-) https://en.mapy.cz/s/kocekejeka . Be aware some parts of the route between the "emergency campsites" are closed off until July 14th
If you have any further questions, feel free to leave them below or PM me. I'm quite familiar with that area (dozens, if not hundreds of one day hikes and I can neither confirm nor deny having ~~camped~~ bivouaced there...)
Bohemian Switzerland is nice, you may also try to look for acomodation in Jetřichovice or Vysoká Lípa to be closer to the centre of the area.
A good choice, although with less wild nature and more countryside-style landscape, might also be the Bohemian Paradise (Český ráj) region, another sandstone area with lots of natural and historical sights. Towns like Turnov, Malá Skála or Podkost offer good starting points.
Central Bohemian uplands westwards from Lovosice might be interesting if you are into vistas and steep hills.
However, almost any a bit more forested and diverse area can be interesting for hiking depending on your preferences. You can try to browse https://en.mapy.cz/turisticka - a Czech map portal with a specialized map focused on tourism-relevant content.
If your shipment for to the customs, it goes to the post office integrated with customs office. In Prague, it's here. After that, you're going to receive a mail (physical one) from Czech Post asking for either power of attorney (plná moc) for them to process, or you take this mail and go there physically. There you get the originals of the customs documents, speak with customs officer, pay fees in cash, get your parcel.
There is a T-34 on a plinth by the motorway between Brno and Breclav. There was another one behind the big Albert supermarket in Znojmo not sure if its still there but it's a nice town anyway if you like wine.

As mentioned elsewhere, the tank museum by Lesany is worth a visit half an hour from Prague, also nearby is Konopiste castle for a double header. They have IS-2, T-72, BMPs, Hetzer, Tancik, T-34 and other tanks and SAMs, artillery all sorts of stuff.
