It's standard Saturday morning cartoon fare until the end of season 2 when shit gets real, and then season 3 is amazing.
Season 4 is actually 2 movies split into episode lengths. The first movie, Daemon Rising, is pretty good, but the second movie is a poor sendoff to the series and ends on a lame cliffhanger.
just cause part of the image was used in 1981 doesnt mean it was taken the same year
edit: this is what steve martin looked like in 1981 http://www.shoutfactorytv.com/steve-martin/steve-martin-steve-martin-s-best-show-ever/54fdd36269702d070a306700
I have a theory that mental illness is just like physical mutation in genetics, in that it is a way in which new forms of problem solving can be generated. If, in fact this penguin had found a new sea on his adventure that would be for the greater good of the rest.
btw you can find a lot of Werner Herzog films legally for free at Shout Factory
The marathon will be on Shout Factory TV, Shout Factory's Twitch, the [Pluto TV app](pluto.tv) and MST3K's YouTube channel.
If you're interested, Shout Factory has the MST3k version for free.
Shout Factory TV had the first three seasons that MMPR was based on for streaming. Shout Factory has also been releasing them on DVD. The first 5 seasons that Power Rangers is based on are currently on sale with the 6th coming in August.
Kyoryu Sentai Zyuranger, or MMPR Season 1
This is not a pirate link, shout factory are the official distributors for a lot of sentai and power rangers you can buy it from them, but they also stream zyuranger for free, heres a link
Just a couple of blink-and-you-miss-it appearances as Detective Hoberman, but it's still part of a weird and great year for The Penguin.
According to the very brief and vague IMDb production notes, "Q" was filmed in the late spring and early summer of 1981, which coincides exactly with the MLBPA strike.
So in 1981, Cey got to be right there on the hot corner helping Fernando make history by leading all Dodger position players in WAR, then he got to save NYC from a man-eating flying Aztec god, then not only did he finally get his World Series ring on the fourth try, but also tied for World Series MVP with Steve Yeager and Pedro Guerrero even after getting beaned right on the helmet by a Goose Gossage fastball in a super scary moment late in Game 5. Man... I was there at the stadium, in the right field loge seats, the crack so loud we thought Cey's bat had hit a line drive.
Then in the final Game 6 back at Yankee Stadium three nights later, Cey had 2 singles in a 9-2 blowout.
So... in quick succession The Penguin helped save NYC, then he broke its' heart, although audiences got to experience it in reverse order.
EDIT: The low-budget film is great shlocky fun, shockingly gory at times (human sacrifice) and with Ray Harryhausen-style stop-motion animation.
David Carradine and Richard Roundtree are the investigating cops. Kung Fu and Shaft? Say no more and sign me up, that duo is pure charisma. Michael Moriarty plays a crook in an unhinged performance that is weirdly jarring at first, then makes more sense as the film goes along, he made acting choices and made it memorable. Candy Clark is his girlfriend in a so-bad-it's-nearly-good performance.
EDIT2: The film is on Shout Factory if you wanna check it out, streaming link here.
Old Sentai is hard to find and most of it is unsubbed. A lot of the streaming sites for Sentai really suck the best way to watch is to just download from the fansub sites. Kissasian has the biggest Sentai selection I've seen, no Gorenger though, but it can get annoying with the amount of pop-ups they have. If you want a reliable streaming site you can watch Zyuranger, Dairanger and Kakuranger for free on Shoutfactory's website.
Gorenger isn't fully subbed but Rampage is working on it.
The Official MST3K Youtube page has 25 full episodes and counting. Shout Factory TV also has many free episodes online (with limited ad breaks).
Some good suggestions so far. A couple to add, though:
The Orville. In all seriousness, speaking as somebody who watched TNG when it first aired, by the second episode of The Orville it felt like I was watching TNG again (not surprisingly, it's also produced by a number of Star Trek alumni). And that's got new episodes on Fox.
Space 1999. It's a show from 1975, in which the moon is blown out of orbit by a nuclear accident, and drifts through the galaxy, encountering strange new worlds and civilizations, and...well, it's basically Star Trek, but the spaceship is the moon instead of the Enterprise. It has mainly aged well, although there are some very 1970s moments in it. That said, the second season...just isn't very good. You may want to stick with the first season only. The entire show is on Shout! Factory in HD here for free: http://www.shoutfactorytv.com/series/space-1999
I'm not sure if this is the best place to start, but Shout Factory TV has the full ZyuRanger series, the basis for the first Power Rangers season available to watch for free on their website. It's a great way to compare and contrast. http://www.shoutfactorytv.com/series/super-sentai-zyuranger
"Gone with the Breeze," from the first season with Richard Chamberlain.
The hoop skirt uplift part starts around the 12-minute mark:
yeah!
watched it shortly after The Return finished. It was available to stream for free on ShoutFactoryTV
http://www.shoutfactorytv.com/series/the-prisoner

Enjoyable. Charismatic lead. I could see it being quite an interesting premise for it's time.
Found there to be parallels with Twin Peaks in that a) it started out supposed to be a limited number of episodes, then got forced to stretch out, ultimately watering it down. (I didn't exactly care for the episodes where you could feel they were phoning it in.)
and
b) wild spectacle of a final episode. worth trudging through the latter half.
The original ReBoot was on Netflix for years. They let the contract lapse, presumably because no one was watching.
You can watch it all for free on Shout! Factory's website.
It’s a really great interview, at one point they show clips from one of her earliest roles in film. It’s a little scandalous as it’s just shot after shot of girls wearing little in black and white and they all guess which one is her.
She is super sharp in the interview and I think it clearly shows the kind of assertiveness that got her so far.
I highly suggest watching it here.
Back on Shout Factory TV, by the way
http://www.shoutfactorytv.com/mst3k-quest-of-the-delta-knights/5f18a4ebca70af00016a65da
Or I should say, for the first time on Shout Factory TV since I don't think this one was ever officially made available due to rights issues... until now.
I'd suggest Cave Dwellers. It was my first episode and most think it was the first true classic in the show's history.
A classic John Carpenter movie great to watch before Halloween. There is an HD version here http://www.shoutfactorytv.com/videos?utf8=✓&commit=submit&q=Body+Bags
as well as Audio Commentary from John Carpenter.
This website http://www.club-mst3k.com/ hosts links to ALL episodes.
-
and shout factory's website hosts HQ episodes here. note: Only a hand full of episodes are available.
-
edit: added some more links.
Check out the original, episodes of the TV show Mystery Science Theater 3000. A lot of episodes are available on Netflix or for free on Shout Factory TV.
Lifehacker recently posted a list of other sites to stream TV.
ShoutFactoryTV includes some Twilight Zone, Alfred Hitchcock Presents, and a bunch of classic horror movies, as well as MST3K!
ShoutFactoryTV doesn't use any DRM, thankfully, so you can download the episodes by using
youtube-dl
(supports hundreds of sites).
I would use the --hls-prefer-native
switch.
So this would be how you call youtube-dl
for one episode:
youtube-dl --hls-prefer-native http://www.shoutfactorytv.com/the-dick-cavett-show/the-dick-cavett-show-rock-icons-janis-joplin-july-18-1969/558b059b69702d0705302100
Ah sorry for all the replies but I got obsessed and found the scene. It's 13:20 or so in Final Justice
Kudos, that's amazing! While The Goldbergs is a significant show in TV history, very few people have even heard of it, let alone see a documentary about it. I'll have to seek out "Yoo-Hoo, Mrs. Goldberg".
I've watched two as a curiosity, more than anything. They're available for free streaming on Shout Factory TV: http://www.shoutfactorytv.com/series/the-goldbergs
I'm able to watch Shout Factory shows in Canada from the shout factory tv... I don't know if that's different to tokushoutsu but here's a link
Festival Express is pretty awesome, has some really great Dead footage. You can rent it several places, but also watch it for FREE on ShoutFactory TV here: http://www.shoutfactorytv.com/festival-express/54bd4f5d69702d070c416400. I found it while browsing on my Roku.
Grateful Dead on Playboy After Dark can be found on Vimeo Here: https://vimeo.com/10535211
http://www.shoutfactorytv.com/series/chouriki-sentai-ohranger
If you click TV up at the top of the screen, you'll see everything they've got. I watched Zyuranger, Dairanger, Kakuranger and Ohranger there.
You can watch 78 episodes from the ShoutFactory website located at this link: http://www.shoutfactorytv.com/film/mst3k About 2/3's of the episodes are stream from HULU, the other 1/3 seem to be from their own streaming platform. All are free to watch.
I've never checked out ShoutFactory.tv before but it looks like they have a good selection. Link to search results.
Start by checking out ShoutTV. You can stream some of their catalog for free, including Sleepaway Camp, which I recommend.
Also check out The Burning and Ginger Snaps. Those are some of my favorites in the collection.
Seconded, I think the Crunchyroll selection is pretty good, although it's limited only to Ultraman. Shout Factory (http://www.shoutfactorytv.com/) has Ultraman, Ultra Q, and Ultra Seven available. Their site is a little wonky (I can only get it to work on my phone) but it's the best source for those. They have Godzilla and Gamera films as well.
In case you miss the screening, Shout! Factory TV has a number of Herzog films able to stream for free including Nosferatu.
Stripperella (2003-2004)
Senran Kagura: Ninja Flash! (2013) - available on Funimation (TV-MA)
The Muppets (2015-2016) - available on Disney+ (TV-PG)
The Weird Al Show (1997-1998) - available on Shout! Factory TV & VRV
To everyone who saw the "Agent Hitler, FBI" meme and don't know where it's from: the show is called Danger 5, and it's one of the greatest things I've ever watched. It's sadly only 2 seasons long, but the entire series is available for free (and entirely legally) on http://www.shoutfactorytv.com/series/danger-5!
Anyone know a good place I can watch Danger 5? I saw it all when it was on Netflix a few years back, but I haven't found a good source since.
EDIT: Nevermind! It's all available for free at http://www.shoutfactorytv.com/series/danger-5! Those of you who haven't watched it, please give it a chance. Easily one of the funniest shows I've ever watched.
nah, i just checked. they use them, but they just weren't exclusive to the nejirangers. it was part of a whole thing involving multiple people getting turned into those cards. the cards come out of the machine one at a time even though all five nejis were digitized together. the order is unclear so that didn't help either.
basically the only one we sort of know is psycho red, which, if my spatial relations skills aren't failing me, matches the top left card in /u/Nihon_Hanguk's image
though it occurs to me there shouldn't really be six. silver was fake and never digitized, and green is comics-exclusive where he was never digitized either
Unfortunately most Tokusatsu shows are not legally available.
However there are fansub groups that regularly release shows. There's a group called TV-Nihon that sub pretty much all major Kamen Rider series, plus their movies. Mind you, you will need to torrent these.
If you're ok with older classics shows, then ShoutFactory TV has them licensed and you can watch them legally.
If you do decide to watch it and are in the US or Canada, Megaranger is available with official English subs courtesy of Shout Factory: http://www.shoutfactorytv.com/tv/tokushoutsu
The Muppets (2015-2016) - available on Disney+ (TV-PG)
The Weird Al Show (1997-1998) - available on Shout! Factory TV & VRV
VR Troopers (1994-1996) - available on Netflix (TV-G)
Senran Kagura: Ninja Flash! (2013) - available on Funimation (TV-MA)
I've been watching werner herzog movies lately. Found a bunch of them streaming free here http://www.shoutfactorytv.com/videos?utf8=%E2%9C%93&commit=submit&q=herzog
http://www.shoutfactorytv.com/series/kamen-rider-kuuga
Sorry for being vague. It's not MST3k, but it's the only other place I know of with experience with Shout, and this show isn't being released on DVD.
I found it just by searching Devo on their page. Workin in a coal mine in on there at the end! I hadn't seen that performance! http://www.shoutfactorytv.com/fridays/fridays-s3-e3-episode-3/571eb483cfb4ef07f9013a81
Nope, but check out my post about the Count. And there are a few original Movie Macabres available.
As far as I can tell, they're playing all the episodes that are also on ShoutFactoryTV. Shout has at least an AppleTV app, probably apps for other devices as well. Far fewer commercials (if any) and you can chose what you want to watch. PlutoTV was recently bought out by Viacom, so the commercials and app interface are already getting worse.
Something feels off about this to me. I know it says Shout Factory, but the logo used is for their own free streaming service, not their regular one. Also, I'm pretty sure Shout would have announced that they got the Kamen Rider licence and not just quietly put it on some random site. I can't find anything that says they actually did get the licence.
For those curious, the entire program is here:
Chōjin Sentai Jetman is amazing. Shout! Factory TV has it on their website if you want to watch it there. They have most 90s Super Sentai seasons and early 2000s.
Sticking to things you can find on Shout Factory TV, I would give GoGoV or Megaranger as my recommendation.
GoGoV has the team all be one family that has to fight a family of demons. Themed around rescue, the show does its best effort to show the dangers and struggles rescue personnel go through in their daily lives. The show is a very passionate one, more on the dramatic side, and the mecha fights are consistently great.
Megaranger is more relaxed, featuring a group of high schoolers as the leads as they try to keep their identities secret while protecting Earth from a gang of Inter-dimensional invaders. The series starts out slow, but the result is you get to know the cast really well, and when the story does pick up later (of which there's numerous interesting developments) you're sucked in.
Pick whichever one sounds better to you and enjoy!
For the Super Sentai seasons that are officially subtitled in English by Shout! Factory (at the moment, from Chōjin Sentai Jetman to Ninpuu Sentai Hurricaneger):
As for every other season, unofficial Japanese TV show streaming websites like KissAsian and JAToku has them.
Lucille Ball on Dick Cavett show, March 7 1974
Fast forward to 49:21 to hear Lucy’s story.
For all of the Super Sentai seasons that were officially subbed in English and officially licensed, I go to Shout! Factory's website or Tubi TV. So far, Shout! Factory has subbed seasons from Chojin Sentai Jetman to Ninpuu Sentai Hurricaneger. And you can also buy official DVDs from them.
For any other seasons that were unofficially subbed by fans (TV-N and Overtime have been subbing the newer seasons weekly), there are websites that will stream them. I'd rather not link them or mention most of them but JAToku is a good one.
Hope that helps and welcome to Super Sentai!
Hey everyone - the Home Movies 20th Anniversary Comic Con Panel is up for free on Shout Factory TV: http://www.shoutfactorytv.com/backlot/backlot-san-diego-comic-con-2019-home-movies-panel/5db0718ae338f95c0fe33b8e
Love this episode, they talk about it during the comic con panel if anyone is interested, the full video is up. (Made another post about this but I don’t see it on here. Idk I’m new to Reddit maybe it went to spam or something)
Zyuranger is sooo different than MMPR. But you can watch at least the last episode on shout factory tv
While there are sites that do stream Super Sentai, they are merely reuploads from the subbers' released episodes, and I would recommend you download the episodes yourself from the subbers instead of supporting them. If you're worried about space, just delete them after you're done watching and empty the recycle bin.
The one exception to this is the only currently legal way of watching Sentai in the states: Shout Factory. You can currently stream any series from Jetman to Hurricaneger there for free.
For anything else, I would recommend you get acquainted with knowing how to torrent, since it will make your life easier. I can help walk you through it, it's very simple. But if you're unwilling to learn or must have direct download for some reason, krdl will let you download two episodes at a time once you make a free account.
Finally, here's a list of sub groups if you want to take a look: https://tokusubs.fandom.com/wiki/Tokusubs_Wiki
Have fun watching. I'll be interested to read your reaction to The Wasp Woman. It's a favorite of mine, and I think quite an unusual low budget movie.
Starcade!!! This was a syndicated gameshow here in the US where contestants would answer trivia questions about arcade games then play actual arcade games against each other where the final high score wins. Plenty of prizes, some game related, some not so much, and a lot of the episode grand prizes were an actual arcade game.

Shout Factory has 4 seasons (didn't count to see if it's all 133 episodes or not) watchable online here: http://www.shoutfactorytv.com/series/starcade
The easiest would be one of the seasons free streaming on Shout Factory TV
They have the Sentai counterparts to MMPR all the way to Wildforce, plus Jetman.
Of those, my biggest recommendation would be Jetman.
If you’re a big Mighty Morphin fan, Zyuranger is honestly not that different in terms of style and tone. The stories are wildly different though which would make it worth a watch.
Dairanger is legitimately great on its own merits. It’s the season Mighty Morphin Season 2 got its Zord fights from.
But really just pick any series that seems interesting to you. If you like Power Rangers then there’s no real secret to getting into Super Sentai.
Choujin Sentai Jetman. It's the only pre-Zyuranger series that available for legal streaming on Shout Factory TV's website. A lot of character-based drama (especially of the romantic kind) to go along with the weird, Japanese-style humor, wrapped around what is essentially a homage to Science Ninja Team Gatchaman and its similar bird theme. Go watch it to see what one of the Super Sentai series used to be like before Zyuranger arrived and was followed up by Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers in the West.
Body Bags is a bit uneven, like all anthology horror movies, but is enjoyable in the same vein as Tales from the Crypt or Creepshow. I think the first segment is actually the strongest since it's the most serious, even though it features a ton of horror director cameos like Wes Craven and Sam Raimi. It's got Mark Hamill too, although the segment he's in was the one directed by Tobe Hooper.
You can stream it free on ShoutFactoryTV by the way:
http://www.shoutfactorytv.com/body-bags/55888aff69702d04bf235202
There's also a separate stream that has the commentary track with John Carpenter:
http://www.shoutfactorytv.com/body-bags-with-audio-commentary/5591b8c669702d071c41ec00
Enjoy!
That's nice, but Shout's own website has all the way up to Gaoranger. No subscription required either. you just need a web browser or their Roku channel.
Any seasons released legally you can stream at Shout Factory TV.
The Tokusubs Wiki Page stays pretty up to date on fansubs. Download or torrent the episodes you want. KRDL.moe houses a bunch. Make a free account if you want.
and i filtered through the google results for you:
http://www.shoutfactorytv.com/series/mystery-science-theater-3000
http://www.shoutfactorytv.com/series/super-sentai-zyuranger
You should give the original Japanese version a watch. It's still a kids show, but it's structured a lot better.
Before looking at other options, ShoutFactory currently has 9 seasons available for streaming from Zyuranger to Timeranger. In addition, all of those plus Jetman and Gaoranger are available for purchase from the US Amazon site so if possible, definitely show your support in a legal way before considering other options.
I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically. Please [contact the moderators of this subreddit](/message/compose/?to=/r/conspiracy) if you have any questions or concerns.
Boyos .... great news ...
All episodes of Thunderbirds , ( 26 episodes from season one and 6 episodes from season 2 are free to watch on this website...
👍👏👏👏👏👏👏👏!
http://www.shoutfactorytv.com/series/thunderbirds
Enjoy Boiiiizzzzz!!!
Shout FactoryTV has an event titled Summer of Sentai on their main page. Only Gingaman is featured, and for some reason, only the first 12 episodes are viewable without manually searching for Gingaman (which I linked above). Given that Shout is calling this event Summer of Sentai, I'd guess GoGoFive will also be available to stream sometime before fall.
Its still up on the Shout Factory website for streaming so there has to be something to this.
The only official way right now is to either buy the seasons released by Shout Factory, which I think is up to 7 seasons now, or stream them on the Shout TV website, which only has 6 seasons.
Randomly came across this while testing out the voice search function on my Roku. This movie displayed when I tried "Grateful Dead" on the free movie channel ShoutFactory TV (http://www.shoutfactorytv.com/festival-express/54bd4f5d69702d070c416400). Great film with excellent music.
This was my favorite show when I was a kid. I remember how excited I was when the hiatus after season 2 ended and the show came back to YTV with improved graphics.
For anyone wanting to indulge in some nostalgia, the full series can be streamed legally online at:
I'm a little obsessed with the show. I also have seen the movies ( original and the 2017 version). I just found the original Japanese (?) version of the show with English subtitles. I plan on watching it just to see the differences. (http://www.shoutfactorytv.com/series/super-sentai-zyuranger)
Actual footage of zyuranger pink: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YEzuXHHj_KE
Ok for real though I'm serious about the forest gnomes thing. Go watch it for yourself on shout factory's site.
More fun facts: I laughed out loud when the Megazord got all up in the red ranger's shit and gave him a stern talking to. Rita's musical numbers are funny, too. Also, I think the low point in the series so far was when their equivalent of Zordon was trying to murder a child with an assault rifle.
In a word, yes. It's an awesome show and incredibly influential despite being something of a cult show. Shout Factory TV has a few episodes online for free streaming
Of the ones they have, I'd start with either I Accuse my Parents or The Wild World of Batwoman.
Try ReBoot, especially Seasons 2 and 3, but I recommend watching the whole thing. Like RWBY, it starts off light, only to take a much darker turn later on.
You can stream a bunch of his movies on ShoutfactoryTV.com for free. It's pretty sick. I'd say start with Aguirre.
Can check them out HERE
