He is also going on an extended ban spree today, which means he has been actively using Twitter for 6+ hours now, this is a long time even for him.
I am watching 20+ keywords with Trump in them in Tweetdeck and they are exploding today. Can't even keep up with the ones that get 50+ retweets. Get Tweetdeck and filter out some of the garbage and Twitter sorta becomes useful.
On Shauna's Twitter, she claims "I haven't been anywhere but the beach, the woods and the grocery store since March 12th."
So the Great Anniversary Food Tour never happened? The trip to Emergency?
She doesn't even try to keep her lies straight.
Honestly, I've only used the Tweetdeck version of the site for years and it's been fine.
You don't get the trending hashtags shown to you ever (90% of the time they're boomers raging about something), it's only ever shown in a chronological order instead of whatever the hell order the main site decides, there's no random algorithm filtering tweets so you never miss anything Twitter decides isn't "relevant" enough to you, and it only shows the people you follow. So if you only follow decent guys, you won't see any of the awful community people always mention in regards to twitter.
It's the best way to use Twitter without any of the problems everyone talks about.
I deleted Twitter from my phone, crafted some private lists of different groups of people I care about and added them as tweetdeck columns. Twitter seem to have somewhat abandoned tweetdeck so it doesn't have any of the dark patterns that Twitter.com and the app have to increase engagement - no trending topics, everything in chronological order, no "[x] liked post [y]". And by making lists of people (I have people I know from work, people I know from my hometown, etc), you can easily catch up on the stuff that actually matters.
Of course, that doesn't get you away from the fact that everyone is tweeting stuff all the time about the latest outrage, and why you too should be outraged about [topic]. For solving that, I've tried to switch to following people on the fediverse (mastodon and friends). There I seem to follow a bunch of people who mainly seem interested in building stuff and talking about it, which is a lovely change, and reminds me of the olden days of Twitter.
I see you are using https://twitter.com as a web panel. I recommend you install BetterTweetDeck and add https://tweetdeck.twitter.com/ instead. Tweetdeck works extremely well in a Web Panel, also no ads!
I'm in social media management, and the only downside that I can think of is that you'll have to pay monthly to get full functionality out of most managing apps. If you don't plan on posting more than the free limit, and if you don't mind having limited analytics, then the free versions will probably be just fine.
You can also try Buffer, which is what I use for my personal social media posts (the free version works fine for me).
You can also use tweetdeck to manage one or multiple twitter accounts if you do any posting on twitter. It's free to use, AFAIK, and you can schedule posts and filter content easily.

Thanks to /u/ShaanOSRS for sharing this. I got a code for a buddy and I within 30 minutes.
For the followers, I strongly recommend https://tweetdeck.twitter.com/ instead of the main twitter website, which is spam central. Tons of garbage tweets from accounts you never heard of.
I did some googling and discovered that when a tweet has over 100 likes it doesn't show them all. You can, however, still see them all on https://tweetdeck.twitter.com/ where you can indeed see she likes it
Take an assessment of what you find exhausting. For instance, I find book preparation exhausting. So, I took notes on the process and follow those notes to make it easier.
When it comes to marketing, make sure you're using hashtags on social media. Some say they don't work, but I notice an increase in shares using them. If you have Twitter, check out https://tweetdeck.twitter.com/ Twitter made it to analyze one's social media posts. It's good for getting a quick glance.
Alternatively: Change to https://tweetdeck.twitter.com/. It's Twitter, but with a customizable interface that allows for multiple, strictly chronological and filtered timelines. It also doesn't try to push highlights or trends into your face.

My personal favorite is set up like this:

Make a Basketball List
Add a TON of reporters you like to this list
Load up Tweetdeck and watch from there.
This is really good for fantasy sports as well if you at work and just have it up.

I'd recommend using TweetDeck for this. You can create a column specifically for Steelers news and filter all of those users into it.
You can search for them in TweetDeck. (https://tweetdeck.twitter.com)

Make sure you're logged into the app. Make a new twitter account, and follow ronnie's twitter as well as the 2k my team twitter. On a computer, go to https://tweetdeck.twitter.com/. Tweets refresh automatically on tweet deck even faster than normal twitter, so it gives you a couple of extra seconds before everyone else. Once the code drops, enter as quickly as possible but don't make any mistakes with typing the code.
Another tip, make sure you include the dashes and caps aren't needed. As long as you pay attention to twitter and enter the code as soon as it drops, you should be able to get the PD. If you want to practice entering some codes, click this link to practice on 2kmtc. Good luck!
Perfect blacks means #000000 color to completely shut down pixels on OLED displays to save power, the older app had that. And while the new app is a UWP web wrapper, it's only around 100Kb in size, it just hides the browser UI and does nothing else, so it's pretty much still a PWA. You can add mobile.twitter.com to PAWA and get the identical experience, except you'll also be able to use landscape mode for videos. It's unimaginable how much of a downgrade the new app is compared to the old one. Also, I'd recommend to use tweetdeck.twitter.com instead.
Lists are definitely a great way to group topics. You can also use Twitter's own TweetDeck and view each list simultaneously in a different column, or have columns based on current activity on certain hash tags, mentions, or whatever else you want. The only downside is I believe it's only available in a web browser and there's no app currently available for it anymore. But the column views definitely make for more easy reading on topics you are more interested in at the time or want to focus on.
We're live tweeting tonight during the finale.

Regarding no 2, doing CTRL-Click on a link will open in a new tab. I can also right-click on links and open them in new tabs and such. Maybe I am not understanding what you mean.
One thing that seems left out in the comments is the leverage provided for your next game by that existing channel. It's likely that the audience of your first game will like your next. Your social media account is a list of all those people that already like you and your games. They're the prime audience to show early information about your next game. They can like/retweet from earlier on and produce compounding gains.
(On a side note, I would like to hear about others way of reaching out to people that bought one of your previous games.)
For this to work, I would think it would be best to be using a personal or studio account. I'm still pretty new, so I'm not I'm not sure what the best practice is regarding having a personal twitter, a game studio twitter, or a game twitter. I have all three and use TweetDeck to post to each or all depending on the content.
Nice list :) I should definitely use Hemingway App way more...

What I would encourage is creating a twitter account dedicated to the operation. That was what I took from the first earthquake - makes it easier for twitter-users to find the information.
Example https://twitter.com/opearthquake (As you can see I was/ am in preparation for the next quake, but the timing fucks up again and again). Idea is to have the start date very visible on the account page. I plan to direct all twitter users in the shilling for the OP to that account (and have a pinned tweet with links to KiA/ 8chan/ Voat).
—
I can give you the plan I typed up
—
> == The plan ==
> Step 0: create infographics about Operation Earthquake and spread them everywhere on KiA, Twitter, Tumblr, Escapist forum, other forums and so on (tag them with @OPEarthquake please)
> Step 0.5: create and collect original content about the __.
> Step 1: Fire at least 10 tweets at date with hashtag _____. Use no other hashtags in those tweets. (If you can't make it you can schedule tweets via https://tweetdeck.twitter.com)
> Step 2: Everyone retweets, favorites and replies to 4 selected tweets. We know from another hashtag that extremely high boosted tweets help the tag to get trending. Those selected tweets will be retweeted by @OPEarthquake so you can easily find them on date__.
> Step 3: Start organically retweeting, favoriting and replying to tweets using the hashtag _____. This one is important and fell short the last Earthquake. Conversations in the tag and answering questions from neutrals are an important way to generate more hashtag-tweets and are paramount to making it trend.
> Step 4: Acquire popcorn enjoy salt
—
Part of the plan is also creating a video about how to use tweetdeck for the Earthquake and some strategy guide (also tweetdeck) on a shitty wordpress blog (or asking f.e. ralph to host it).
—
Hope it helps. Godspeed leaders.

One trick for finding great new articles is to follow a bunch of journalists and editors on Twitter and to use https://tweetdeck.twitter.com to alert you to any popular reads. (It’s v similar to Nuzzel.) … Also, the pocket app is a great tool for algorithmically suggesting articles.
Until last week I was an editor for them. One trick I used for finding articles was by following journalists and editors on Twitter and using https://tweetdeck.twitter.com to alert me to any new articles that are getting attn online.

Ah. That sucks.
But the good thing with twitter (as well as reddit) is that they're the only social platforms that allow for third-party clients, and those don't have promoted tweets anywhere.

I honestly can't really understand how to work my marketing part on twitter so I've never done that. Thanks for you advice, I'll give a try :))
In which stage of preparation you're saying?
I know it's not self-hosted, but I use https://tweetdeck.twitter.com on a screen on my laptop all day with some lists.
It works pretty well, and I've seen some major announcements the moment the news outlets announce them.
If the retweet button is grey then that means that you will need to go to somewhere like tweetdeck and that will allow you to delete the retweet. https://tweetdeck.twitter.com/ is the link to tweetdeck.
I felt that way about the 'media bubble' too, but you also have to retain some mental space. You could always start a separate account that you use to get a look at the unfiltered version.
I think the most popular app is Tweetdeck. I've used it and it's okay. https://tweetdeck.twitter.com/
There are also android apps, Owly and Talon - I haven't used them so can't comment on them.
Use TweetDeck. https://tweetdeck.twitter.com/
Click the slider icon at the top of each column if you want to remove it. Then simply use the menu on the left to "add column".
Twitter by far. Facebook is dead unless your podcast audience is 60 plus.
I recommend Tweetdeck to run custom searches for topics you've discussed on your show and to reach out to people who have organically expressed an interest in your show's subject matter.
May I introduce you to https://tweetdeck.twitter.com
In fairness, I get a lot of news updates (not just F1) from different columns in there, so I do nearly always have it open as a pinned tab in Chrome.
Apart from that I genuinely do nothing special, no bots or anything.
there is list: you just put names in line, like this https://nitter.net/elonmusk,spacex,tesla,vincent13031925/with_replies .

I was being sarcastic. =) You are Gen X based on your born date. I have not figured out the logic behind the Baby Boomers and Millennials trying to belittle each other publicly because they think the other is "the problem" and they are "the solution". Really the ones publicly trying to belittle a label is the problem... but what do i know.
Twitter isn't that bad. Facebook and Reddit are equal as toxic in my opinion. It helps if you use tweetdeck.twitter.com and create your own lists to sort of group accounts of similar info (instead of one long feed). Also, if I follow someone/thing and I find out what the post really is something I don't want to see... I just unfollow. Pretty much anyone that spends most their time referring to people by labels.... bye-bye. The joys of social media.

Not a Ublock Origin Fix but you can try out Tweetdeck.

Kinda. If you're only using it to search raid ids, it's similar to using something like tweetdeck where you can set up a bunch of custom searches for raids. The upside that raiders would have over this official twitter tool would be that you can copy raid ids on click. If you combine raiders with viramate, however, it'll load up the enter raid and paste the raid id in for you to click join.
I use Hootsuite to schedule my Twitter and Facebook posts, but recently started using TweetDeck for engagement. You can set up columns with different feeds, so for example I've got my regular timeline, a feed for specific hashtags, feeds for a few of my Twitter lists, and a feed of my notifications. While I'm at my day job, I keep a browser tab open with TweetDeck so I can keep an eye out and retweet or like a few things here and there. I tweet a lot of articles relevant to my blog topic, and when I do I tag the source in the tweet - 8/10 times they will retweet it, which gets my account in front of that many more people.
The Instagram community around my blog topic is fairly tight-knit and engaged, so Instagram has been a dependable mode of promotion. Whenever I publish a new blog post, I make sure to promote it both in my regular feed and in my IG story, too. I feel weird commenting on people's posts, so instead I follow a couple relevant hashtags and every couple days I scroll through the recent posts and just double-tap pretty much all of them. It can feel kinda inauthentic but I do notice a marked difference in the number of likes on my own posts when I take the time to like other people's.
Best of luck!
I love to organize my subscriptions in lists. Tweetdeck helps me to get an overview about my own topic-lists, preferred hashtags, newssites etc.

Buffer has a free plan that lets you hook-up to 3 of your social media accounts each with a queue of up to 10 posts each. The basic pro plan I've started lets you have up to 8 social media accounts with queues up to 100 items each.
Although Facebook and Twitter (via TweetDeck)have free native tools that allow you schedule posts in advance, I've found Buffer's interface far more intuitive, easier and quicker to use. Also, all in the same control panel. ;-)
https://tweetdeck.twitter.com is a great example. there's a scheduled tweet right freaking there.

As one guy from AppRaisin pointed out, there's TweetDeck, it has a dark theme and if used with PAWA it even shows notifications (not the background ones yet). So that could be a good alternative once the UWP app stops working.
1- https://tweetdeck.twitter.com/
2- Criei colunas e separei por temas/interesses
-

Personally I run twitter via tweetdeck so that I can see active updates, at https://tweetdeck.twitter.com
In tweetdeck you have the ability to add lists, this means that you can follow a group of people without following the accounts individually, think another timeline but dedicated to a specific group. This is the way I organize a lot of who I follow because of the different groups / teams on twitter working in security.
https://twitter.com/da_667/lists/malware-hunters
https://twitter.com/da_667/lists/threat-tracking
This being said, curating a group of people who you actually enjoy reading their content is pretty important. I make sure to follow accounts that don't take the world too seriously and are fun to follow / post with.
Get a second computer monitor, mine cost $90. I watch Twitter in real time on a second monitor with Tweetdeck.
Now I don't browse Reddit all day, I just come in when a big story breaks on Twitter.
Yeah, I have a Mastodon account (that I opened up earlier this year and then abandoned a week or so later). It looks decent and I appreciate the decentralised/non-commercial nature of it, but it's still designed as pretty much an exact Twitter clone (taking most of its UI cues from TweekDeck), so the distracting attributes and incentives are still very much the same.
You need two accounts: the main account where the retweet is, and a secondary account.
1- Go to https://tweetdeck.twitter.com/
2- If you are logged in with your main account, you must log out
3- Log in with your secondary account
4- Click on “Accounts” then “Add another account” and add your main account
5- Make sure your secondary account is the default one and search your main profile on twitter. Click on “User” and search the retweet you want to undo (it should appear unless your secondary account is also blocked)
6- Click on the option button (three-point button under the retweet) and click on “undo retweet” or “delete”.
*Step 1: Unfollow MLB, SportsCenter, CSN, for the time being
*Step 2: Filter out keywords on Facebook using Chrome

For the past couple of months I've been using https://tweetdeck.twitter.com/ to stay up-to-date with what's going on on Twitter, and https://brand24.net to keep track of the mentions I monitor within social media and the rest of the web too.
Best way to use Twitter to track things you're interested in (which could be news, sports, fashion, whatever) is to create lists of important people in each of those interest areas and then use an app/program, like Tweetdeck on PC or Fenix on Android to have a separate feed for each one.
It allows you to separate your main feed into different areas so that things aren't so muddled, which is very useful when you follow a lot of people.
Here's what my own Tweetdeck looks like: http://i.imgur.com/uM5lgih.png (I like sports and news)
Twitter is fantastic for live events of all kinds, like breaking news, sports, tv show airings. You just gotta find that first dozen or so good accounts to follow to get your timeline rolling.
