For those looking for a casual game to waste your time with, I'd recommend you Endless Loop. It's a simple, well made endless puzzle game. I'm on level 1638 right now and the game is still as fun as it was during the first 50 levels.
This looks like a very fun android game called loop. (not sure if against the rules for advertising, but fwiw I have nothing to do with this game, I just enjoy it)

Dos que me permiten relajarme y gozar (?)
I've got this game called ∞ Infinity Loop where you connect different shapes to end in a loop. It's very simple, but also quite nice to play when not being able to whip out your phone
If you have android, infinity loop is a timeless classic. Super simple just connect all the lines, but it has over 600 levels and is often updated! Its super pretty and has chill music, too.
I know myself well enough, so I use YouTube videos, specifically long-form criticism, usually of film. These are ideal for me as they are always accessible via my phone or computer, can begin immediately after I complete the task, and end conclusively to help me avoid clicking to another. I also use the Pomodoro system and most of them fit well within my long break section (though I have modified the times from stock Pomodoro). For small breaks I use a mobile puzzle game called Infinity Loop that is relaxing and almost meditative. It provides a helpful break from work and working through the puzzles is a light reward.
I have also tried using Magic Online (an internet-enabled version of Magic the Gathering) to get a quick match in after a lengthy work session or the completion of a project. They have an upper time limit to ensure I don't spend longer than intended. I've recently attempted using food as a reward system, but given numerous personal mental issues with eating, this turned out disastrous.
Overall, I'd recommend trying to find an activity like those above where it's easy to end, provides a direct contrast to your work, and is tied to your outside interests. Good luck!
if you're looking for a pencil-less app that gives the same feeling(to me at least) as an adult coloring book, try infinity loop
A mobile version that has pretty animations and I don't even know how many levels
I'm up to like 175. Not sure how long it goes on for, could be endless and randomly generated for all I know.
Edit: In the description it DOES say endless.
I enjoy Infinity Loop- Not sure about filling 8 hours, but I find it's an fun to play puzzle game on the small screen of my Huawei Watch.
Amazing -- free, no IAPs, no distractions. Easy to understand, easy to play, but many of the puzzles are challenging. Plus, the finished puzzles look really cool to me.
There's an app called Infinity Loop, very similar except way way better. Super atmospheric and calm, better music (that can be muted!), and imho a lot more intuitive.
When I was going through physical therapy I played a lot of Infinity Loop. One handed, no reaction time need, portrait. They've since added ads and IAPs so I don't know if it's still as great as it was, but it worked enough for me to keep me entertained.
I use internet 16 hours a day. I browse even when I am eating. I even sleep listening to ASMR videos on youtube. When I shifted to someplace else, I didn't have acces to internet for 20 days. First 5 days were boring as hell, the only thing I had in my phone was a movie and only one offline game Infinity Loop Since I didn't have anything to do except using my phone (also no TV) I found some relief playing this game, in the last 10 days I didn't miss having internet, I got addicted to this game, I played it all the time, I completed more than 1000 levels 😄. When I finally got internet access it didn't feel like heaven as I thought it would at first.
As a one man dev with a day job it's not like I have a wide range to choose from, but I'm going the "little details" route instead.
A minimalist phone game can be great. I like Infinity Loop, although looking at their ads now they've apparently gone insane. I look at your game and I don't know, the colors don't go together that well to me, it still looks busy and loud instead of sleek and enticing like I'd want in a minimalist game.
Also, my favorite apps ever was the Infinity Loop game on Wear. I play that forever.
I would install the phone app then install in Wear play store from "apps on phone" section, although I noticed on a new device it doesn't show up... I hope that is a glitch... luckily, I still have it on my device.
Black metal fara morbiditate este ca in loc sa trudești in folosul obștesc?
* I se zice oprimat.
I've listened a talk from original ∞ Infinity Loop developers just last week. And they said that if an app was blatantly just copy-pasted (disassembled apk, replaced graphics, added to play store) then Google gladly removes it in a day or few. But in other ways, I guess it's up to layers and stuff.
Infinity Loop is awesome.
I can play it for just 2 minutes or for hours if I'm watching something in the background, it's simple, and it's endless, so I've been playing it for months.
Play Store link: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.balysv.loop
I don't see Infinity Loop in this thread so I'll add it. No ads ever, fun little puzzle game with infinite levels. Small app size too.
Gosh, I have always hated the top lists, whether it comes from music, games, apps, or anything. The top lists aren't made to tailor to a particular user. It's just aggregate data of all users, even children. Filters would definitely be in the Play Stores favor to deliver more content to users. However, I don't think it completely crowds out good apps.
Instead of going through top lists, scrolling down the first page when you open the Play Store, there are lists that are "recommended for you" based on what you've downloaded. On top of that, there are lists on an app's page displaying "similar apps" or what "other users installed". I use this method when just searching keywords that might interest me.
So, discovering good apps that you will enjoy is still a pain, but it's not the worst ever.
... you found any good gems lately? I'll share a few of mine.
Infinite Loop is a great abstract puzzle game. Free, no permissions, no ads.
Sunvox is a music studio. It's awesome, but has a steep learning curve IMO. It costs money, too, but that's the price for quality. Perhaps, as users, we should move back to paying money for quality?
That Infinite game (with an infinite symbol) has about 10k and is really awesome. No ads, no IAPs, no words, only infinite puzzle levels.
EDIT: It's this one: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.balysv.loop
So a paid knockoff of ∞ Infinity Loop?
it's a knock-off of the original one
Want a lightweight game to keep you going for hours or just to do something for 5 mins on the throne? Infinite loop
Infinite Loop is a fun addicting game about rotating parts of a puzzle and forming infinite loops.
Infinity Loop, a casual game that's supposedly "endless"
I warn you though.. it's incredibly addictive. I'm currently on level 935.
This is probably Bucle: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.balysv.loop
Is the first result that comes up if you search Bucle.
This is the copy loop game.

Great to play while high and maybe tripping too
Is it too late to get your money back? Here's the original, and it's free ∞ Infinity Loop.
∞ Loop is an incredibly fun and simple game.
What's the difference between that game and this game: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.balysv.loop
Hello again /r/AndroidGaming!
Some of you might remember me from the 5-6 very popular Pixel Blacksmith posts last year. I make Android games in my spare time, and I'm back again with my new game.
City Flow is all about rotating tiles to make all of the flows (road, path, river, etc) & heights match, vaguely inspired by super-simple games like Infinity Loop.
With over 200 different tiles across 8 environments and 12 different flows, there's plenty of content!
Whilst the game comes with 235+ puzzles, the real replayability comes in the level creator. Once tiles are unlocked (by completing story puzzles), they can be used to create your own puzzles, or used by the level generator for endless levels. These puzzles can be shared either as images or text, so you'll never run out! There's clips of the process here.
The game is heavily customisable, with all sounds / music being changeable, and 30+ unlockable puzzle backgrounds. For those of you interested (like me!), there are also 30 achievements, 23 leaderboards, 21 quests, and automatic Google Play cloud saves.
No pop-up ads, and works in portrait or landscape on any phone / tablet above 4.0.3 (ICS). Chinese, Dutch, English, French, German, Polish, Russian, Spanish, and Swedish are all supported!
Those of you that remember the regular Pixel Blacksmith posts know that I'm extremely responsive to player feedback, and love hearing all (positive or negative!) feedback on my games. A bonus game mode (Zen) has already been tweaked due to player feedback, let me know what else can be improved!
I hope you have as much fun playing it as I did making it <3
Jake
PS: Get the latest updates & share levels over on /r/CityFlow, or search "City Flow" on Facebook or Twitter to find the game's pages!
PPS: I use Trello to track current bugs / upcoming features, you can see what I'm up to here if you're feeling nosy.
PPPS: I'm currently commissioning some fancy concept artwork for the game, it'll be posted on the subreddit once it's completed!

Sadly, this is only my favorites that I keep coming back to.
∞ Infinity Loop (Free) - Simple and addictive puzzle game
10000000 ($2.89) - Match 3 puzzle game with interesting mechanics, quests, and upgrade system.
ALONE... ($1.49) - Sort of like that old helicopter game in browser, you guide a rocket ship through a cave sorta thing.
Archery King (Free) - Archery, enough said.
Circle Affinity (Free) - Circular platformer
Downwell ($2.99) - Vertical platformer. I like it better on Steam.
Dropsy ($4.99 on Amazon Underground, $9.99 in Play Store) - Dark point and click with no dialogue. P&C translated surprisingly well to mobile.
Dumb Ways to Die 2 (Free) - Basically Wario-Ware for mobile
Dynamix (Free) - Rhythm game that was actually designed for touchscreens instead of porting controls over a-la DDR.
Fighting Fantasy series ($2.99, some are cheaper on Amazon Underground) - Choose Your Own Adventure style books with die based combat. Really fun, ton of variations. I've personally played The Forest of Doom, House Of Hell, and Island of the Lizard King
Fishing Hook (Free) - Fishing game with good enough mechanics.
Lara Croft GO (Free on Amazon Underground) - Part of the GO series (Deus Ex GO and Hitman GO) that are great puzzle games that play like a board game. Really interesting.
Lyne ($2.50) - Connect all the lines in this puzzle game
Mini Mix Mayhem (Free) - Wario Ware x4
Monument Valley (Free on Amazon Underground) - Perspective based puzzle game
Outfolded (Free) - Unfold boxes to solve puzzles
Pocket Rice (Free) - Trivia where successful answers allow you to donate rice to people in need
Reigns ($2.99) - Hard to explain, but great. Balance... stuff to stay alive through choices you make as king.
Sonic Racing Transformed (Free) - Surprisingly good port to mobile, but I've had issue with doing stunts.
Strata (Free) - Puzzle game based on layering lines

I'll just leave this here.

It's like this game I've been playing. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.balysv.loop
Loop is amazingly simple, though not crude or unrefined, and has absorbed more of my time than is proper.

Infinite Loop. Simple puzzle game that randomly generates levels
How about infinity loop?

Basically the same graphics and animation as Infinity Loop
I dunno if you have Android but this game relaxes me no matter what :)

Not the hardest but they have moderate difficulty and they're neverending.

Definitely Infinity Loop
Infinite Loop. Super chill and simple puzzle game. Good for winding down. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.balysv.loop
There are a ton of these "loops" games, which don't require a lot of attention, but get you into a quick flow state, and you can knock out a level or two in just a few minutes. Tons of variants out there, so technically infinite replay if you enjoy it.

This one takes a bit more thought, but still not extremely demanding, and it's also pretty good for short bursts

You would probably like Infinity Loop.
I've enjoyed playing that a lot. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.balysv.loop

try this I always play this if I forget my earphones on a long commute
Infinity Loop, plus headphones, is hard to beat IMO.
Here is a few puzzle games I like:
The last one have a few levels where you need to spell out numbers in English, but I think all of these games are easy to understand how to play, even if you don't know English.
More like the flag of Infinity Loop
Here's a link to the app, Infinity Loop: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.balysv.loop
I took some screenshots from the levels and did a quick edit in Inkscape.
What came first? This or this?
Loop, a minimalistic puzzle game
so you fully ripped off this game

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
Infinite Loop is nice. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.balysv.loop
I personally love Loop (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.balysv.loop). The best part is that it seems to have unlimited levels
If you need something a little relaxing, I'd suggest Infinity Loop. It's a simple little puzzle game where you connect lines and create interesting designs. It does have ads but I don't think they're too intrusive. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.balysv.loop&hl=en_US&gl=US
