This is a mobile game, not a console game. It's also Korean, not Japanese.
It appears that getting the Korean instead of Global version is much easier for this game than for other mobile games I've looked at, at least on Android; all I had to do was Google 'seven knights korean', and a link to the Google Play page came up (if that doesn't work for whatever reason, search '세븐나이츠 for Kakao'). It's not region-locked, so I can see the Install button just fine. If you've got an iOS device instead, you'll apparently need to create a South Korean Apple ID.
Anything by "Choice of games" or "Hosted games" same company but hosted ones are written by the public and published for them.
Heros rise is my favourite, it's a trilogy where you play a fledgling super hero in a world where 1in10 have powers, your character rolls over into each book.
Kind of feels like they were just milking TERA players for what they could while they could. There's still a mobile version active full of lots of microtransactions: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.gamevil.kritikamobile.android.google.global.normal&hl=en_US
Ah, I thought you might have gotten some inspiration from the Sorcery! games

Your map looks a lot like the city from the second game
that is global version, this is one they are comparing to https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.cjenm.sknights
(you can see the 1000 days thing in the icon), and heck they gave a shit ton of free things lol (they are still giving it tho)
I haven't played lifeline yet but I love the choose your own adventure style games, the best I've found are from "Choice of games" and "hosted games" same company but ones their own games and the other is games written for their format by other people..
The best of the bunch in my opinion is the Heroes Rise series you're basically a super hero and your character carries over through all 3 games.
Have a look at Kritika: The White Knights. Sounds like what you are looking for :)
I find it pretty common to find games that are, for the MOST part, really good mobile games. But then one little thing holds them back. And for free titles, that's a death sentence that sends people to grasp for a different low-hanging fruit.
I found Elementalist to actually be pretty good, but I wasn't interested in it until I invested, like, half an hour in it. That's a century on the app store.
(dunno if there's an iOS version of it, cbf using their terrible non-itunes browser-based app store)

Check out Witch Spring 2 it's one of the, if not the best game I've ever played on mobile. The story is kinda meh but the gameplay is great, it's a paid game (but you can try the 1st chapter for free here) without any kind of IAP or AD
You should try WitchSpring2 it's one of the best games i've ever played on Android, it's a paid game without any IAP or ads.
there's a free version that let's you play the 1st chapter
The Heroes Rise Trilogy is one of the best I've come across, it's not a fantasy based one but most of the "Choice of" games are at least decent so have a browse.
Valkyrie of Ragnarok. An actually free gacha. It only has ads (and not the 30sec ones), and nothing else.
Excellent to scratch that gacha itch.
I enjoyed both of those so you'll probably enjoy Heroes Rise.
It's the same peeps as creatures but it's a trilogy where your character carrys over about being a super hero.
Edit, sorry just saw the free bit I'm watching a film whilst redditing.
Haha, Elementalist was the name of our working title too!
We were planning on keeping it, but there was another game with the same name on the platforms we were targeting - and while the mechanics weren't too similar, I decided just to avoid it.
