ACR does a bit more damage, SCAR-L is a bit faster (firing rate). ACR has an even recoil spread left to right (still kicks up), SCAR-L recoils up and to the right. ACR has a faster reload, The SCAR has a faster down speed from aiming down the sights.
I personally prefer the ACR, but I mainly play hardcore mode.

Statistically, the MSR is slightly better or even in all aspects. However, the stats are so close that it really does come down to personal preference, but anyone who looks at these types of stats when choosing a gun would choose the MSR
USP does 40 damage up close and 17 at range
P99 does 49 damage up close and 17 at range
Five Seven does 36 damage up close and 17 at range.
USP and P99 have 12 round mags and the Five Seven has 16
USP shoots at 750 rpm
P99 shoots at 1200 rpm
Five Seven shoots at 1000 RPM
You get 30 health in HC.
According to this chart, the ACR, MK14, and M60 are the only guns that are one shot kill at any range.(And of course all snipers)
And all guns kill in one bullet within their respective ranges.
The P99 is the best for close range while the MP14 and the .44 Magnum have a bit more range.
I would say the P99 and the Magnum are you're best bet. The .44 has the same damage as the MP412 but has MUCH better reload.
You can check out this spreadsheet and see how they all stack up in different categories.
My favorite set up is the .44 Magnum with a tactical knife. I don't really knife but I like it because it helps with the visual recoil, making it easier to get those long shots.
Apparently the grip increases the ROF for the SPAS, so I would go with that.
Also, you shouldn't ADS with the shotguns. Pellet spread will be the same regardless of hip-fire/ADS on a basic shotgun (only exception is the 1887, where spread apparently tightens up a little with ADS). I was a big fan of the Steakout in Black Ops, where ADSing helped, but I had to get out of that habit for MW3. In general, Grip + Steady Aim will tighten up the spread for hipfire, increasing the chance of a OHK if you are on target, plus you don't waste time going into ADS (and take the hit in player movement).
Damage vs. Range is more of a toss-up. I've heard some players say Damage is better, some say range is the way to go. I think it is more what works for you.
Here are the Denkirson Shotgun Stats if that helps.
TL;DR Use Grip + Steady Aim, only hip fire, Damage v Range up to you
The PP90M1 has such amazing hip fire accuracy and fires so many bullets; its a murder machine. I carry the stinger around for free points and killstreak boosts. UAV/Counter which I spam. I love recon pro and hardline pro because I can spam bullets across the map at someone that I know I can't kill, but it paints them and grabs me assists and helps the team. Love being a team player.
He's using a FOV changer, which shifts your character back, so the view is wider. Since MW3 was made for consoles, it looks weird having a 65 FOV on a PC, so the FOV changer makes it better for PC players. The change of view also makes you seem to run faster, but it's the same speed as every other player.
edit: article on FoV in mw3 and how it affects PC
Let's face it, you lose fire fights. Is it your TV, your internet, your reaction speed? Regardless, this class should help. Just quit sprinting. Clear every section before moving on.
Since you usually lose fire fights, you need "Focus". To stay off the radar, you need the silencer. Secondary MP9 akimbos are a very good secondary for when you need to clear one guy in a room. Flash grenade because you need to get the jump on foes.
Sleight of hand because you lose firefights. Assassin to stay off the radar. Dead Silence so you don't run into an ambush.
Strike Package: Support For now, you should run UAV, Ballistic vests (NO third package).
This support package will loop quickly and help you & your team.
Death streak: Hollow points since you lose firefights.
Once you get better, make the following changes:
Assassin Pro to hardline Pro.
Strike Package: UAV, Care Package, Predator Missile (with hardline, you will get them at 2 points, 3 points, 4 points so take out support equipment when possible!)

P.S. Let us know your findings, whether you failed or succeeded.
Obviously the video was great, I don't think I have to point that out.
Something that I would like to mention additionally is the hipfire of shotguns. As he said, they usually (not all of them) aren't more accurate when aiming down the sights. However, when adding steady aim shotguns actually become more accurate when they are being fired from the hip than when you fire them while aiming down the sights. (I haven't tested it in mw3, but that's what I noticed in mw2, and if the stats are correct and steady aim only increases hip fire accuracy then it's true here aswell).
This is the reason why in very close situations it can be useful to aim down sights sometimes when you are using steady aim with your shotguns, because their spread can help you a lot in some situations. (That's something else he could have mentioned, it isn't always a bad thing that shotguns when shotguns have larger spread since it can be helful at close quarter situations. At longer range you obviously want less spread though.)
Here's a chart with all the shotgun stats, feel free to do the math yourself - when you equip steady aim the hipfire of a (shot-)gun is (as mentioned in the video) 0.65*original hipfire. Then just compare that with the ADS spread of the shotgun.
All around, the striker is probably the best. With extended mags and damage, its an absolute beast. heres the class I use for it.
However personally for dicking around having fun, the KSG-12 and the 1887 are pretty fun once properly leveled.
I made my own chart that focused each weapon's Damage Per Second (DPS) which is calculated by:
damage * RPM / 60
This stat is critical when comparing automatic weapons, and not very useful with semi-auto weapons. Here is a link to it on Google Docs:
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AuIQsFzIGH0ddFYwZms4WHA3TDItVEV4bWpRRHlFY0E
However, if you can't hit your target, it doesn't matter how much damage it does, so I stick with the high DPS weapons at close range and use lower recoil weapons for longer range.
The USAS-12 is a great alternative shotgun to the Striker. From a pure power perspective it's much weaker because of its fire rate, but it has a lot of other minor benefits such as: built in EC, slightly longer range, and magazine reload.
The AA-12 is probably one of the easiest shotguns to use, just hold down the trigger and people die. It's got abysmal range though, so most of the skill comes from how well you can run around the battlefield and flank. You MUST have scavenger though if you want to kill more than 2-3 people without running out of ammo.
The KSG-12 is without a doubt the worst shotgun in the game and probably one of the worst guns in general. It's pretty much a SPAS-12, but weaker in almost every regard. I guess if you want a challenge you can use it.
Never tried the Model 1887 so I can't say much about it.
My shotgun ranking
1) Striker
2) USAS-12
3) SPAS-12
4) AA-12
?) Model 1887 (it can't be worse than the KSG-12)
6) KSG-12
Also, if you want to see shotgun stats
take a look at System Requirements Lab. It's not exact science but it will give you a good idea of how your system stacks up. Also Minimum system requirements
I have both the spas 12 and the model in gold... I think i like the pump action because i can reliably "Time" my shots. Also in range tests, the model 1887 and the SPAS will shoot farther than any other shotgun. The model also has the highest "Minimum" damage over any shotgun except the ksg 12 with damage proficiency.
False, hip-fire spread of spas is 5-5(it doesn't get bigger or smaller). ADS spread is 5. Only the AA-12 and Model 1887 without steady aim should ADS ever
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AmWEaU8N7NeddFlNRk44SHkydC1ucE54YmVBS2FJT0E#gid=0
Yes, technically the ADS and hipfire spread of the SPAS-12, KSG-12, USAS-12, and Striker are the same. However, it takes longer to ADS than to fire from the hip, and steady aim makes ADS obsolete on ALL shotguns.
Ok you can go here to view the charts I made....http://imgur.com/a/5qqij (FAD Chart should be 4-5)
Or here to view Denkirson's...https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AmWEaU8N7NeddEprUWFkQi1ZWFU0eGItNGwzZG1oSXc
As you can see, none of the automatic assault rifles do over 49 damage, meaning they are all a 3 hit kill up close(at least). The type 95 does 55 damage up close, meaning it is a 2 hit kill. In MW2, the FAMAS was 40-30, but after stopping power the max damage went to 56 (40 * 1.4). If you look at the TAR-21 or SCAR-H in MW2, they also were 40-30 (3 hit kills up close), until you added stopping power, then they also became 2 hit kills up close. Do you see the CM901, the ACR 6.8, the AK-47, the G36C, M4A1, SCAR-L, or M16A4 getting 2 hit kills in MW3? The answer is a resounding NO. They are all at least a 3 hit kill. This is because stopping power is NOT built in to get their max damages above 50. Only the Type 95(and MK14) has a max damage above 50, meaning stopping power is built in.
Consider yourself enlightened.
I got this as well. I went to resign into Xbox Live and it came up with a new XBL Terms of Service I need to agree with. I figured it was something to do with this, so I'm not too bothered to agree really. Reconnected just fine, don't worry about it.
Best advice if you are looking at the Razer Onza Tournament Edition go to Best Buy and purchase it in store. When you purchase the Onza, ask for the Black Tie protection program, which covers this item on EVERYTHING (warranty is about $7). Analog sticks are wonky? Go back and they'll trade you out with a new one. Buttons messing up? Go back and trade it out.
This, imo is the best way to buy this controller. It only messed up once for me, but Best Buy was awesome with me, and traded me out instantly.
Oh, and word of advice to all those with this controller. DO NOT PLUG THE MIC INTO IT'S PORT. It has a mechanical error that messes up the Mic Jack, and thus makes the Xbox think that you still have a mic connected. This was my one problem, so I exchanged it and just bought a Bluetooth Headset to remedy that.
Riot Shield w/Speed - The most important thing about Speed is that it isn't Melee. I ALMOST NEVER use the melee on the shield because it always gets me killed due to its inconsistency. Enemies will sidestep the melee, leaving your back exposed.
FMG9 w/Akimbo - With SoH, switching to FMG9s is almost instant (just make sure to take them out once at the beginning of the match to get the longer animation out of the way).
Throwing Knife - Throwing knife makes for fun kill cams and dispatches anyone who is prone pretty quickly. Don't try it if you are getting shot, though. I only throw the knife if the enemy doesn't see me. Even if you miss, it makes them panic.
Concussion Grenades
Sleight of Hand Pro
Hardline Pro - turns all those assists into 1/2 kills.
Steady Aim Pro - essential for mid-range kills with the FMG9s.
Specialist Package: Blast Shield Pro(2), Blind Eye Pro(4), Assassin Pro(6) - Stuns, flashes, and explosions are your weakness. It also doesn't hurt to be invisible.
Juiced
I use this on all Search and Destroy games (except on Dome) and sometimes outside of S&D. Because of its close quarters nature, this is a great class for Kill Confirmed. I pretty much wreck with this class. If you've done damage to someone, one hit with the riot shield finishes the job. Otherwise, I wouldn't go for two riot shield hits, as it's pretty inconsistent.
I usually go around the maps, staying close to the perimeter of the map, then camp around the bomb site if there is one.
Have experienced the same phenomenon. I think they simply disappear after a certain amount of time of not being collected. relevant
My main class right now. Probably one of the most powerful classes I've used in any CoD and trust me, I've abused every class combo you can think of.
Guys, read the user reviews, not just the score. Here. Honesty, clearly seems like they're disappointed in the change from previous games. That's the main beef with them from PC atleast. And PC has the lowest user rating.
I mean this one guy states in his review that "bf3 is a broken console port" and that it shouldn't be compared to this game that states that they're dedicated to the PC community.
Then he goes on to rant about everything he's displeased with. That guy, I have to agree with. I feel his 2 score rating is a bit harsh. But maybe it isn't. Gonna try the demo wink. Might buy it.
I play on a 20" pc monitor using this cable. I love the setup and I have trouble switching to a larger tv.

There are some calculations on there that aren't visible. The top table is how long it takes for each gun to kill in seconds (Times 10, don't ask me why I did that lol). The second table is based on what gun is the best for that range and how the other guns compare to whichever gun that is (Comparing those times in the chart above). Anything else you need me to clear up just ask.
I was thinking something similar- in Blops and MW2, all values were taken straight from the game's files (thanks Den!), so there was zero room for error- it was raw data from the source. Here, it's going to be a little more subjective (what did he use- a stopwatch?), but the trends are going to be consistent. While it would be hard to get an exact number, he's probably still pretty close, and this bears out with what most of us had suspected from the start, as well as agreeing with the existing gun charts examining rapid fire. So while not exact, his numbers are good enough for me. Plus, I think there sometimes is too much emphasis on stats as opposed to how things play out in-game. On paper, the PM-9 is beast, and in the game it can be, but only if you use Steady Aim and are great at hip-firing. If you're ADS'ing with a PM-9, you're gonna have a bad time. Anecdotally, I can't play for shit with the G36 until I put a RDS on it. We've put in days of gameplay in this title- you should know what works and what doesn't.
The weapon select screen "stats" are way, way off and shouldn't be used to compare any guns, really. The den kirson forums have this spreadsheet for info on most weapons... although the actual rates of fire are a little different, according to tests. If you look here, you can see the G36C has been calculated to fire 733 rounds per minute, and the ACR at 636.
The Striker is sort of an anomaly. I should've mentioned that Damage is better if you're using Specialist in my first comment (since Range will be added to your gun but Damage will not).
Range is better on the Strike otherwise because it gives you a better two-shot-kill range. The rate at which it fires makes the necessity of one-shot-kills null.
You can see the raw data here.
There's some math that goes into spread area versus target size that favors the idea that you're almost always going to need 2 shots anyway (since you only have 6 pellets), and that doesn't even account for user error at all.
In other words, having greater maximum range is going to help you with the Striker far more than being able to OSK at a slightly greater range unless you're running Specialist.
check out this spread sheet to choose a sniper https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AmWEaU8N7NeddHNhUlJxZ3RMd1NnVUVDNEtmYUR4SWc#gid=0
multiply the normal damage column by the multiplier column to see how much damage you will deal to that part of the body.
My 2 cents:
The silencer does not have to be avoided like the plague.
See: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AmWEaU8N7NeddHNhUlJxZ3RMd1NnVUVDNEtmYUR4SWc#gid=0
From the table you can see that the silencer only means you lose the OSK headshot.
Since you're going to need two shots, it certainly helps delay your opponent figuring out where they're getting shot from and thus less chance they can effectively take cover.
Practice double-tapping for every shot. If you've got a good twitch finger you can fairly reliably get both shots on target instantly before the gun has a chance to kick-up/off target.
Kick + Ex-mags is also very effective.
If you survive with this gun, you'll probably need scavenger, at least as an early-ish unlock on specialist.
I know where he got his stats, its from here
notice all the numbers are exactly the same as in his video except he doesn't show the 5 bullet kill time for the type 95
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AmWEaU8N7NeddHNhUlJxZ3RMd1NnVUVDNEtmYUR4SWc#gid=0
Look at aim column. .4 isn't too fast. Say "1 mississippi" out loud. A second is longer than you think, especially when someone is shooting at you.
The Live TOS, which is what you quoted, specifies "unauthorized hardware", which turbo controllers do not fall under. The hardware vendors specifically license them through Microsoft, which means they're allowed.
Not sure what you find so hard to understand about this.
Searches turn up nothing except people shouting about how they should be banned - I can find no instances of anyone actually being banned, or anyone official saying that they are not allowed (or anything on the matter at all, actually), and it's not documented anywhere that I've been able to find.

Try Can you run it, just select Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 from the drop down list, then it'll analyse and tell you if the game will run, and how well
> What type of player are you?
Reminds me of this (jump to 1:40).
But seriously, I'll check what kind of player I am when I'm back in front of my XBOX.
Edit: I love the variety in here. Almost everyone picked a different primary. In Blops it was all Famas and UMP. I don't think most people appreciate how balanced the weapons actually are.
You can get better, I'm sure. I played Black Ops not knowing WTF I was doing.
Looking at your classes, you have a lot of guns that are better for long distance kills. I wouldn't use those until you get alot better.
You also need to change your strike packages to something more realistic for your current skill.
Here is a class I recommend until you get some more time to talk to somebody.
Notice the strike package only has two items (UAV, Ballistic Vests). Since you're not getting many kills, this will help you get more rewards and XP.
Once you're getting a little better and learning the fundamentals, I'd suggest an Assault Strike Package with Hardline Pro.
That way instead of needing 3,4,5 kills, you just need 2,3,4 kills. I can get a Predator missile 2 or 3 times a game in this way, along with the care packages at 3 kills.
This is my "team player" class. I'm prepared to take out air support with my Stinger, offer enemy intel with my portable radar, call out enemy equipment with SitRep, etc.
FFA game where everyone has this class. Maybe with a different secondary, SMAW perhaps.
This build seems a little campy. If I had to guess you plan on sitting in a safe spot and trying to pick domes off, and then when shit gets real whipping out the fmg9s to ride out the wave. You could probably switch from dead silence to steady aim to give your fmg9s a real boost; as well as improving the panic value of your m16. IMO Claymore > Betty for holding down a space. I would exchange kick for focus, burst fire doesn't have that many recoil issues, so you may as well be better in straight shootouts. Extended Mags instead of RDS means less downtime. Flash or Concussion if you use recon. Because time shouldn't be an issue in campy situations quickdraw can be exchanged for assassin, and blast shield but probably most effectively hardline, which will pair nicely with recon and the support package. Final Stand will get you out of a lot of sniper deaths too, and your guns don't really have a damage issue.
can you run it? http://www.systemrequirementslab.com/cyri/intro.aspx
this is awesome resource^
but, im thinking if you can run mw mw2 or black ops then you cna probably run this too. COD is aimed at the mass mainstream market, they want it to run on as many computers as possible. i always liked that. I coudl run mw2 at 90fps full spec 1920x1080
It really depends on the pricing. DLC will be part of the subscription plan but it might end up being slightly more expensive than just buying it alone.
Bowling just tweeted that stat tracking will be free. I imagine it will be alot like what Bungie had going with the Halo service record.
If you only have the option of buying it on PC I'd go for BF3, Infinity Ward give no love to PC users and MW3 on PC is quite frustrating.
If you must get MW3 on pc though, why don't you get a CD key of it from one of the many online retailers?
You can get the english version for around €30. http://cdkeyprices.com/product/Call-of-Duty-Modern-Warfare-3-Steam-CD-Key.html/
Or if you don't mind activating it with a VPN and changing the language manually you can pick up a Russian MW3 key for around €14. http://cdkeyprices.com/product/Call-of-Duty-Modern-Warfare-3-Steam-CD-Key-VPN.html/
Apparently if you've ever prestiged in CoD4, MW2, WaW, or BO, you'll unlock a prestige point on day one. From the MW3 Facebook Page
Edit: As per Rob Bowling's Twitter post, you will get one prestige token per previous title that you've prestiged in--four a possibility of four total.
See on this one here. It is the AR's and they are measured in Effective Range by # of Bullets. The length of bullets end to end thing is mentioned somewhere in the forum I believe. It's not supposed to be arbitrary it is supposed to be what I described. Sometimes things are labeled in meters based on the XM25(it has them in it's HUD) this is not labeled that way.
this is probably outdated because of updates but you are free to look at and use anything on the spreadsheet. it also has a prestige calculator in one of the tabs. Message me if you have any question
There's definitely something wrong with this chart.
The SCAR-L is a 4 shot kill between about 30-38 meters while the G636 is a 4 shot kill at anything above 29 meters. Their fire rate is almost exactly the same (750 vs 769) so between 29-38 meters their effectiveness should be almost equal, yet there's a huge distance between them.
The reason for this is the source of your info. Your best bet is to reference this from the Den Kirson boards in the future, that graph you used isn't correct. The SCAR actually has longest range of every AR except the AK47.
It's a nice idea but the stats you used aren't correct, and neither is the graph because of it.
Here is a gdocs version of my prestige calculator. pretty straight forward. there is also a sheet of weapons and their stats [hidden] and the full version of the prestige calculator [hidden] the home sheet is a much simpler version of the full document.
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AnCZcSsTF6YddHNXVm10THRyNHBUNjhMbjF5SXo2R3c
MP7 has a more accurate spray pattern while aiming (its only got muzzle climb ffs), larger clip, less of a damage drop off, relatively the same fire rate, and a faster reload time.
If you're a numbers kinda guy, I've got ya covered. Here are the recoil plots for most of the weapons: http://denkirson.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=general&action=display&thread=3256

I have a feeling that this is the chart you were using. It DOES have the fastest time to kill, at close range (other than the type 95, but at 3 bullets, PM-9 is slightly faster), however, it also has the smallest range of any weapon, minus the G18, as well as the highest X,Y kick of any submachine gun, and is higher than most other weapons as well. Personally, the PM-9 is a good spray and pray gun, but if I was ever actually trying hard, I would never use it.
uh the grip?
Run it with damage/Grip if you get damage
here is the shotgun stats As you can see the strikers damage min is pretty high it doesn't need range because of this. You should probably use damage with the Striker/KSG/1887. Range with all others. Also use steady aim and never ADS.
ACR firerate is actually much lower than has been advertised.[Source] This means the TTK is lower than advertised. This may also mean the ACR centers more shots than is being advertised in these threads. I'm not sure if that has been calculated. G36C is by far the best automatic in the game at distance. It does suck when hipfired though. That is what might make the ACR better in all reality. ACR hipfires very well.
Try tweaking the code so it uses those stats scaled to the bars instead of the in-game charts.
>And where are you getting your information from about the Type 95's range? It has the longest range in MW3,
The way that range works is that at a certain distance(drop-off start) the bullet damage will start to drop off linearly until a drop-off end distance. While the type-95 has the longest drop-off end of all ARs(2000 inches) it also has the shortest drop-off start of all ARs(800 inches).
This means that the Type-95 is a 2 shot kill from 0-971 inches, a 3 shot kill at 972 inches(25 meters), a four shot kill at 1554 inches(40 meters), and a 5 shot kill at 1828 inches(47 meters) and on.
Compare this to the M16 from MW3 which is a 3 shot kill from 0-1599 inches, and a 4 shot kill from 1600 inches(40.64 meters) and on.
As you can see, the Type-95 has the advantage from 0-971 inches, from 972-1554 inches they are the same, and from 1554 inches on, the M16 has the advantage.
As you can see, the type-95 only has an advantage over the M16 for the first 25 meters. And at very close range, any fully auto SMG or AR probably has the advantage.
From this, I see that the Type-95 is balanced well with the other burst weapon in MW3.
I get my stats from here which I believe are the most accurate stats for MW3 other than the non-public documents from the developers.
Notice that I am comparing weapons only from MW3. I told you we can't really compare MW3 weapons to Black Ops weapons, even if they do kill in about the same number of bullets.
according to this guy's test, some LMG's DID lower fire rate with grip attached https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/pub?hl=en_US&hl=en_US&key=0Av5t-DE1i_xfdE5qdUg4MkhPRFhBWmo3MnhHV09GeGc&output=html

I don't know much about PC gaming, but this tweet from fourzerotwo states that all versions of MW3 will run at 60fps or higher. Whether or not that means greater system requirements, I don't know. But at least the console versions will look fairly decent.
Funny, this. I only got my copy from here just the other day. I've been playing Battlefield for the past few years, and I just wanted MW3 just for the campaign mode. (Next to the price, just click on the downwards pointing arrow, and you can choose how much you want to pay for it. I paid £10 for my copy.)
Just be patient for your download. It took me about a hour to download it.
Don't forget that they sued for $36MM because Activision tried to not pay them bonuses for the best selling game of all time. (at launch, iirc)
I don't think you can do anything since they took down the beta. Have to wait until probably day before launch at earliest.

My class that I normally use for rushing. For the strike package you can use whatever your comfortable with.
Ok, so I recently missed out on my AC-130 emblem to avoid missing out on the double xp (ie, I had to prestige, even though it's one of the 6 streak emblems I don't have), but here's my advice:
I use something like this, only you can substitute strafe run for reaper, if you don't mind being undefendable, or you can replace scavenger for blind eye if you are being air support spammed. Just be warned that the PP90 uses ammo like a biatch, so replace range with attachments and extended mags.
And if you feel like being cheesy, use this or something similar.
Also, before anyone asks me why I use airstrikes as the first, and why there aren't machine pistols, here's why: airstrikes have a much greater area of effect, and it's a lot easier to get 3 kills with an airstrike than 4 kills with a predator. However, if you combine the two, as the Type 95 class does, it can get you to ten or so. As for machine pistols, I find handguns to be more adaptable to my uses. Since I hate SoH with a passion, I need to be able to swap to something fast when I get my main empty and there's still tangos to engage. Not to mention that tac knife beats akimbo FMGs at close range hands down.
TL;DR: Use your fav primary w/ a silencer, a handgun, airstrike, reaper, AC-130, and be patient.
not sure if douchy but very efficent at DOM and rushing on mission
(On maps where you can't see any UAVs, I sometimes switch Hardline for Assassin)
Edit: Should be red dot, not ACOG
guys please tell what you think about this class! I really need suggestions to make a better class for my favourite gun MP7. http://www.ign.com/builds/call-of-duty-modern-warfare-3?d=016052062000044000000000078083100108118121127130133000000000000000000168
My class is for rushing and getting down 'n dirty with the enemy. Quick and agile for taking out those from the spawn, and later on it can be stealthy with Dead Silence unlocked and the Surpressed MP9 as the secondary. Ideal for rushing in all maps.
My best class, good for short-long range. ACR and MP9 suppressed using slight of hand, assassin, and dead silence; people cant hear me and can't see me. Slight of hand helps to swap to pistol quickly for close quarters, and use specialist package to add stalker, quick draw and blind eye. http://www.ign.com/builds/call-of-duty-modern-warfare-3?d=00705406200003600006200008208309410812012300000000000000000016415815417
my current class for bigger sized maps where i dont need close contact weapons http://www.ign.com/builds/call-of-duty-modern-warfare-3?d=003056064000044000071000078084094106116122000000000142146149000000000168
Before I just prestiged, I used this a lot. It worked great especially in hardcore!
>Primary: MK14 - Breath, Hybrid Sight
>Secondary: Javelin
>Grenades: Semtex, Flash
>Perks: Blind Eye, Quick Draw Pro, Marksman Pro
>Killstreak: Support - Advanced UAV, Stealth Bomber, Escort Airdrop
>Deathstreak: Revenge
This worked great as a makeshift sniper with marksman pro, and when i was going into short-med range combat, you could switch over to the holographic and move a little faster. The javelin helped for taking out UAV's and on maps like Baakara and the one with two bridges.
I've also found that using using Breath to hold your breath when aiming down sight gives a slightly faster ADS. Breath also helps to minimize the recoil on long range shots instead of using stability or range.
MK14 Has the best accuracy and best damage of all the guns in the game. It's basically a sniper rifle without scopes and as such is very powerful. One shot headshots are not uncommon and it has very high flinch (caused on the enemy because of its high damage).
Hip Fire/Don't give a fuck:
(I'll sometimes switch that out for a striker with damage)
Support Load Out:
it depends on what class i'm using. I LOVE the SPAS loadout with dead silence so I'm able to sneak up easier. It works especially well when trying to rush campers in the red building on seaside.
what does having rapid fire do for the MK? I've tried it, but I didn't notice anything different.
Lately, I've been using this build for my MK. It kicks ass and takes names!
MW3 mine
I use this pretty much anywhere. The hardline and specialist go well together and usually allow me to get both a lot of points and kills.
Great moab class I haven't gotten a MOAB with this yet, but I consistently get the specialist bonus and 15-20 killstreaks, my best being 22. The MP7 with these attachments is easymode, silencer+rapid fire = laser gun. Try it out.
Also, a minor nitpick on the class creator: In the specialist perks, they spelled scavenger wrong. But idc that much lol.
I only play TDM, and I switched to this recently, and I've been constantly doing much better than a 2.0 KDR http://www.ign.com/builds/call-of-duty-modern-warfare-3?d=00305306206904700000000007808409410812012112713013500000000000000000017
yeah its not too bad. im a huge fan of the ACR myself and the nade launcher. heres mine
My current Team Defender Class
IGN doesn't allow you to have the riot shield as a secondary with overkill, but that's what I would have. It sounds weird, but with it on you back, along with Blast Shield and a claymore, you are very hard to steal the flag from if you get set up in a good defensive position.
Also, if you set a tac insert right next to where you are, you can immediately respawn and kill the new flag holder. It's a fun class to say the least.
Edit: This is my general class
I get at least 20+ kills every match of TDM and Ground War with this set.
I have a couple more maybe I'll add em later.
Here is the best Headquarters class I've come up with.
Flash grenades combined with recon pro with a bunch of explosives to back it up. Impact to shoot through headquarters walls. Stinger to shoot down air support in case you don't have blind eye yet. Final stand to get that extra half a second to capture a headquarters.
This would probably work well with Domination too.
My "Overkill" Class. Making minor tweaks here and there, but I'm happy with it. Might do concussion grenades instead of flashes.
Cool find.
You can use this YouTube downloader if you're going to be doing it often, as I find it easier and faster. However if it's just the once, just use the site.
am reciting from memory so this is the closest I can find. Source Relevant material is about halfway down.
So what did you do to your NAT settings? I opened them for another game but MW3 still says I have moderate settings. I am going to give this a try tonight: https://mail.google.com/mail/#inbox/1338bd8b19096363
$19.57 from Amazon, but forewarned that there are a lot of hackers on there.
I don't know about your budget, but I had the Wireless Stereo headset for the PS3 the official one made by Sony and it worked fantastically for footsteps and directional audio. Granted, I'm not an audiophile like /u/72APTU72E, but it worked great for me so I thought I'd recommend it. I got it for about $90 online and it seems to be just above $100 on Amazon, but maybe you can find a deal somewhere. Happy gaming!
had this happen today I though it was my ps3 going crazy hahaha it scared the shit out of me cause I use huge ass speakers on my Tv and they have the volume all the way up.... these speakers

If your comp has space for a card, I've been using this with very few problems: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B002SQE1O0/ref=oh_details_o04_s00_i00
Only downside is that it had to be connected before my xbox was on if I wanted to record in 1080p over an hdmi cable. 1080i worked fine whenever I hooked it up though. The software could have used some work, but it does the job.
I use a Blue Snowball that I got on sale for $50, along with a cheap pop filter. I also have a pair of Astro A40s I use in-game, and sometimes I'll use that to record commentary if I'm away from home and don't have my Blue Snowball with me.
I have the same controller as the OP (the <em>"new style"</em> XBox 360 controller) and have found that the sticks are more responsive than the old controllers and do not wear out as much.
I do not have the same problem as the OP, but I will sometimes damage the surface of the stick from sprinting a lot and digging my left thumb (possibly the thumbnail) into the stick.
