When shadows lengthen up, and fog tongues intertwine at the vortexes, even the familiar crackle of #TheZoneArt transmitter sounds mystical. Followed by the steady blinking of the lamp, grim and tense arts by d.vishnevsky are appearing on the screen.
Autumn is that mysterious time when legends of the Zone come closer to the folks. They intertwine into people's tales and thoughts, glimpsing somewhere around. And more and more often, old stories are heard about «Locomotive», «Endless Tunnel», and a dark figure wandering between trees.
A mod team can't prevent someone chasing you through the sub and being an idiot, report him, if you have RES add him to the "mute" list and move on.
(This said, I have to mention I can't recall one instance of a mod appearing on the sub, but still, this is usually a pretty relaxed and nice sub)
The Seed has already been funded so it's dumb to suggest they are trying to lure people to their own kickstarter: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/989416433/the-seed-0
And unlike West Games, MDT and Volstok have a ton of past and present work to show for themselves, not a trailer full of other people's game and engine footage. Even if they are legit and have good intentions, they are nowhere near ready to put up a Kickstarter and ask for money. They need to show us more.
But if you don't find their Kickstarter campaign a little sketchy I have a Nigerian prince I'd like to introduce you to.
This is the draft on their Kickstart project:
https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1577656602/175081935?token=a57d4a63
I don't want to be a pessimist, but this is really looking like a scam. All they shown was STALKER footage and some conceptual art. Hell, even the stretch goals have items ripped irght off STALKER games. And their systems' name are named right from the old XRayEngine.
They're asking for too low money to make a game "avaible for Xbox One, PS4, Wii U, Mac, Windows and Linux" and we ALL know that the core fan base of STALKER series are on PC gaming.
And for last, they're not the "guys behind STALKER", also there's FOUR guys named Eugene.
Fishy.
I'll start.
Interactive health screen/system, like this (you can interact with it to perform actions). So if you get shot in the arm, you have an arm wound that bleeds at a certain rate and you can check it, disinfect it, bandage it with different types of wrappings, and have to remove old bandages after so many hours and redo it all.
Magazines! I want to have to use actual magazines, be able to put them in quick access pouches (or it takes like 20sec to reload), and have to manually load them with ammo (drag and drop, not like one bullet at a time, I'm not crazy masochistic).
Just two things I think are sorely lacking in a open world survivalist game.
Been stalking for a while, but out of all the mods in this series (especially CoP) nothing beats modifying the Renderer DLLs to extend the grass render distance. It's especially noticeable in CoP due to the wide-open areas such as the one in the image. Combine this with something like Absolute Nature and your scenery transforms the game. I'm just surprised to see so many screencaps and vids from people who haven't modded this setting.
http://www.filedropper.com/stalkeruniversalgrassdistance
The process might be weird for some at first, but it's fairly simple.. Mod works for all 3 stalker games and I even got it to work on Call of Chernobyl.
Hope you guys like it. I’m working on a video project for CoC and I needed a map but the only one I could find was this one so I made my own in higher quality. Enjoy
A modpack that uses Last Day as a base but makes it more fair (not easier) and also the developer (OP of this post) made a 64 bit version of the X-Ray engine: https://www.moddb.com/mods/stalker-anomaly
I'm blushing that the fact that I didn't get the translation 100% complete in time showed up in their article.
Damn, that lights a fire under my ass.
EDIT: For anyone curious about why it's not finished, we (Genies of the Zone [Translation Team]) have been working with the creator of Spacial Anomaly on the English translation for the mod, a story overhaul mod that has a ton of original content and storylines that differ entirely from the main game. It's gonna be incredible. Keep your eyes on the horizon.
EDIT 2: Spatial Anomaly is a mod for CoP.
Well the game will be in one large map, and Strelok's back!
>Official S.T.A.L.K.E.R. For those stalkers that may have missed this news: Stalker 2's protagonist will be Strelok. It will be taking place in a large-single-area game world (no loading areas). A Stalker movie is currently being filmed along side the game development with a budget of 3 Million USD due to increase in the future.
Yanov and Zaton are there. There's an entirely new map.
Use OWR3 addon + hardcore AI. Use these mods too. Also, check out Absolute Nature and Absolute Structures addons.
CoC is a modder's resource with mostly vanilla everything. You make your own game, and that means these addons.
OP Listen HERE.
Clear sky is a prequel, so you will know the history better. Clear sky is a good game, dont listen to the people that like to throw shit to everyting that is """bad""", Clear sky its the most hardest game in the series in my opinion. But its not THAT hard, the thing is is the limited resources and the economy, just get artifacts and play Slowly.
Clear sky its the most "Combat-oriented" in the trilogy, it has a lot of human vs human firefights, but still have the classic mutants and the Creepy atmosphere that everyone loves.
And before starting, install SRP mod (Sky reclamation Project), its a MUST have to enjoy CS, fixes the bugs and adds extra things and dosent change the Original History or game in general.
https://www.moddb.com/mods/srp
TLDR: clear sky its a good start. and install srp ples
Oh, look what I dropped here.
It legit works if you have a decent connection and live in close enough to the data center there is a LTT video about it that is fairly accurate.
Now if you'll excuse me I'm going to play anomaly on maxed settings on a £400 laptop.
This is the most comprehensive list I could find before I downloaded it a few days ago (I had the same question).
https://www.moddb.com/mods/stalker-anomaly/news/stalker-anomaly-mod-pack
I’ve only tried for a couple hours so can’t give a verdict on it one way or the other (though so far I like it a lot), but after all the Dead Air hype and reading about (and seeing when I tried it) all the bugs and questionable development approaches (traders, AI behavior, health, etc), Anomaly seemed to be more what I was personally looking for, and won me over because of how the mod author is constantly updating and interacting with his user base.
The first stalker game people play generally becomes their favorite and i dont think people hate clear sky it just had a rough start back in 2008 which still carries over (even though the majority of bugs are fixed and has been optimized) for whatever reason? idk i guess people are shallow and dont see for themselves how good the game is.

But the main reason i feel the game was hated is because the lack of hardware power they had back in 2008 when it was released, you needed a pretty powerful system to run the game on max settings which is a huge leap from just 1 year ago when SoC was released so the game ran like ass and there was some annoying bugs which prevented people from getting that far into the game not to mention the new quirks you had to get use to which i still think is annoying like the aiming sway the clunky movement to name a few. It was just a bad time for the game to be released.

I recommend people play Clear sky with SRP mod https://www.moddb.com/mods/srp it fixes a ton of errors and logic to NPC and is optimized for best performance if you want the best possible experience with Clear Sky.
a lot of people will tell you not to use complete because it makes the game too easy, and to some extent i agree. however the core gameplay and atmosphere doesn't change significantly imo, and coming from fallout, complete 09 might help you enjoy the game more. it will certainly fix the bullet sponge issues. however there are many other options, such as a simple damage multiplier change, and also playing on the hardest difficulty, as the difficulty changes a bunch of complicated things but essentially makes both you and enemies die quicker. one thing to bear in mind with the combat is that the guns you start with are terrible, super inaccurate and low damage. once you progress a bit you start find larger caliber weapons that make enemies a lot easier to deal with, if you aim for the head that is. if you want to avoid the easy-mode that complete 09 offers, but still want a fairer damage system, i'd recommend Autumn Aurora. I haven't played it myself but it's highly recommended for veteran and newbie stalkers. S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Rebalanced might also interest you.
Get SRP
It doesn't change any vanilla aspects (unless you use the optional files) and it fixes most of the bugs and save corruption.
Best mod for CS is Sky Reclamation Project, though it may require a new game start. It fixes misaligned ironsights and has an option to add pistol iron sights back into the game along with many, many other fixes and customization options.
What makes you think that? The detail and photogrammetry is easily done today with an iPhone Pro/iPad Pro and even if you don't have one, Epic aquired Quixel, making Megascans free for everyone using UE. So yeah, if you require to do something with photogrammetry, Unreal Engine has the biggest library of photogrammetry out there.
And hell, let's say you're talking about models. Unreal Engine completely throws away the concept of polygonal budgeting with Nanite, making the job of making assets a million times easier for a skilled 3D artist since they can simply model without doing retopology, light maps and a bunch of other things that are incredibly time consuming.
Super complex is the actual hell people went trough to make Anomaly what it is now... it's seriously an odyssey compared to whatever challenges you face with Unreal Engine.
Cool mask!
There's an Android app with all the stories in russian
If reading in Russian isn't your cup of tea, there's this post
I hope I understand it correctly that you meant the anecdotes that Stalkers tell around campfires and such.
I would recommend the Lootmoney mod for CoC, it gives you variable amounts of rubles from corpses. Otherwise, I find it too punishing to really collect money.
https://www.moddb.com/mods/call-of-chernobyl/addons/lootmoney-for-coc-14
From what I could tell, it's the full version of 1.4.0. The previews were a sort of testing for bugs and glitches and such. With the current version, most of the code should be up to date, and most of the bugs gone. You can read the changelog 1.3.3. to 1.4.0. in the link below.
https://www.moddb.com/mods/stalker-anomaly/downloads/stalker-anomaly-repack-updates-2
Use https://www.moddb.com/mods/call-of-chernobyl/addons/pda-stash-view-coc-1422-15-r6
Version 1.5r6 is just 1 script file and works fine.
Can be used in Dead Air\Anomaly (I've used it in both)
Also thats a glitched stash, you'll never reach it ever. Its out of bounds.
You should not need any addons for Anomaly, most addons that are not explicitly made for it are not compatible anyway and a lot of useful things are already integrated.
Right now there's one addon I recommend for it: https://www.moddb.com/mods/stalker-anomaly/addons/menu-load-screen-graphic
Of course I recommend Anomaly, but I'm a bit biased :)
not hand models no, just replacement models for all the npc's in the game
https://www.moddb.com/mods/call-of-chernobyl/addons/toska-hd
My only issue is that the game is dead BECAUSE of the developers. They've been relatively silent as far as free play coming but keep adding lame microtransaction crap. At this point its a cash grab and they are going to ride it out. I would look at Escape From Tarkov which should be in closed Beta early-mid 2017 for something more STALKER-ish-ish.
Misery and The Seed dev here.
Celicethegreat has a personal vendetta on anything Misery. Even if it's completely different than Misery, and a whole other project altogether.
Every chance he gets, he tries to push shit into people, on how Misery is the worst thing ever, and developers should have done this and that.
Anyway, here are the updates on how The Seed is going https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/989416433/the-seed-0/posts
June 17th updated
And we've been keeping regular updates on our Facebook page
Check it out for yourself.
I've always had fun with Oblivion Lost. It received a major final update in 2015 but was actually one of the first popular Shadow of Chernobyl mods.
https://www.moddb.com/mods/stalker-oblivion-lost-30
Based off of AMK and It's not necessarily the most balanced or prettiest looking mod but it's kind of crazy because it makes the game really unpredictable. It adds some new lore and story lines as well as several new levels. Still I'd say all of the balance tweaks are upgrades from vanilla.
I once merged Oblivion Lost 2.2 with the weapons from LURK and some of the eye candy from Complete 2009 and it was the most fun I've ever had. I have not been able to successfully replicate this unfortunately and the original files are lost.
A post with 82 videos showcasing Dead Air features was posted on Call of Misery VK page recently. They can be found under this link:
https://vk.com/callofmisery?w=wall-131799462_121543%2Fall
Here's our ModDB page, be sure to check it out:
Just a guess, you're running Call of Pripyat right? Not Call of Chernobyl? If you're trying to use the CoC version of Arsenal Overhaul in CoP, this error makes sense.
Either way verifying cache is going to be faster than trying to troubleshoot what went wrong for certain. Atmosfear and Absolute Nature should not cause conflicts because they're made by the same author, and xr_combat_ignore.script sounds a lot more like an AO script.
After you verify cache, use a mod loader like JSGME to make sure you don't run into conflicts.
https://www.moddb.com/mods/call-of-chernobyl/downloads/jsgme
I’ve just started and I’m using “Roadside Picnic” which is a large compilation of mods: https://www.moddb.com/mods/call-of-chernobyl/addons/roadside-picnic-addons-pack-by-0x29a-v01-1422.
Can’t wait to play more.
I wouldnt do so without this addon I guess.. Then it would be without consequences as normally its bunch of hostile assholes anyway
Well you could go with https://www.moddb.com/mods/dead-air/addons/dead-air-easier-tweaks1 for the start. A bunch of tweaks that make the mod easier in every aspect. I dont use it but I think that it would be great for beginners.
Also a tipp from myself. Keep coins and other things that you can trade with normal stalkers. Many of them have medkits even if the traders are out of them already, so trade some coins and ammunition you dont need for medkits.
Dont try to venture to far into the Zone at the start. Focus on getting a good Suit, Sunrise will do and then work towards SSP or Guard Suit. Dont go to Zaton before deactivating X-16 and Brainscorcher, I heard that this will kill Beard or bug the game etc.
Give the Documents you find in X-16 and the other labs to the faction you want to side with as this will "level up" their traders selling you better gear.
Good hunting Stalker!
I think he's actually talking about the stalker on the PDA, isn't that guy a modder? I swear I've seen his name somewhere.
EDIT: Yup, https://www.moddb.com/members/czechdeath
If you like tinkering with the config files in gamedata, you are probably interested in the tools posted in https://www.moddb.com/mods/stalker-anomaly/forum/thread/some-tools-for-addon-creators
Anomaly ships with everything in DB files for performance reasons, but it's easy to unpack. Just keep in mind that modified files that you put in gamedata might cause conflicts with future updates of Anomaly that always assume the gamedata is in the clean state it has after unpacking.
https://www.moddb.com/mods/dead-air
It's harder than Misery and Last Day. I'll give you these few tips: 1. Invest in a dosimeter (Geiger counter) and a gasmask because the radiation hotspots are randomized now. And they pose a very real threat. 2. Baby the hell out of your first firearm and armor, because it will be your best friend for a while. 3. I'm not sure if everyone has had the same experience that I've had, but stay away from Garbage until you have good rad protection. Garbage was irradiated as HELL last time I went.
Download all of the zip files linked here https://www.moddb.com/mods/dead-air/downloads/dead-air-english-translation including the translation
Make a new folder called dead air in your downloads just so its tidier and put all of the files in there.
I highly reccomend downloading 7zip to unzip them, then just unzip all of them at once into the same folder.
Put the First patch folder into the Dead air folder created by unzipping the others.
then with the english patch, Take the gamedata folder and put it in the dead air folder too.
Then, when the game starts go to the 4th menu button down and go into it, then the 3rd, and at the top you can change the localisation from russian to english. That should be it :)
Someone did though, theres a stalker game where you wander around finding artifacts on your phone, its like two years old or something. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.valentin.stalkerartefactfinder
Yes, they do respawn and or retake control

If you want a mod that makes stalker take control of captured points, I recommend TRX A-life Revamp, it's very simple and compatible with almost all other mods out there that don't change the A-life, the mod only problem is the high rate of Zombie spawning in Marsh, Garbage and Cordon, which haven't been fixed yet, easily for us to fix though, the mod has a small scale warfare built into it, the only thing missing is offline combat, which would make the perfect mod for the game
You really should list the game your talking about no matter how obvious you think it is.
Presuming you mean Shadows of Chernobyl, I haven't been in this for some time but if I remember right open the files (in a text editor, or better Notepad++)..
\gamedata\config\weapons\w_fn2000.ltx \gamedata\config\weapons\w_g36.ltx
Search for "silencer_status" make it = 2
If you don't have those files you'll either have to extract them from the game or find them somewhere online (if trying online just make sure you don't use modded files).
There are a few extractors but a simple one for the old game is
https://www.moddb.com/games/stalker/downloads/stalker-extractor
Oh, and just incase you don't know, you'll have to edit "fsgame.ltx" in the games base folder for it to use mod files. In it make sure $game_data$ = true
"It got its funding, and hasn't made a word since."
Updated 17 June - https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/989416433/the-seed-0/posts , one of many updates.
One can understand why I'd be biased, It's my livelihood, I work there, but why you would obsess and dedicate good amounts of your time trying to undermine anything even remotely related or supporting Misery is beyond me.
Just let it go, Misery is not EXACTLY as you want it, and yes it had bugs. It's a small request really. Plus if you let go, all this free time will pop up suddenly.
Try checking the "i want to shoot" and "better rewards" (and one more that i can't remember right now) options, and install this addon that gets rid of the slug walking, asthmatic guy's stamina and more.
I like to use dis for COC in conjunction with dis, with warfare and azazel on it makes a pretty interesting experience.
Also a huge fan of the Anomaly mod pack, though it is on the hardcore side of things, adds a lot of elements to the game but you really aren't obligated to use any annoying/tedious mechanics like some other hardcore mods.
Good hunting
RadioPhobia 2 most likely is the newest and most polished looking mod, it implements new high quality guns, extremely good visuals, and retains original story line for those that prefer that. Never have i seen better looking stalker in any of the other mods i played probably due to the use of an ENB.
1.4.12 and the 1.4.22 patch were the last official non-beta releases of Call of Chernobyl. You can find them here:
https://www.moddb.com/mods/call-of-chernobyl/downloads
There is a ton of mod support in the addons tab of the offical moddb page linked above if you're interested.
The sky lighting up like a night star is part of the visitation. If you really want to go back and read you shall see that its predicted and hinted at that the visitation was more than a falling star. And saying that a meteorite falling is a reference to roadside picnic is a long stretch as the creator of the mod himself said it was his own little easter egg and I quote Pavel himself >Yes, creating a meteor in Stalker was my favorite stand alone project. I got the inspiration from this article about Utah meteor: http://gizmodo.com/5409469/spectacul...the-utah-skies
>I thought it would make a great WOW moment and be something unique to a video game. The engine was not designed for this kind of stuff, so I spent some time inventing the way to make it possible and look the same way as on the video, "this thing just lit up my whole neighborhood!" I also used the real meteor sound posted on NASA website for authenticity.
>I kept quiet about it so people would discover it without expecting anything like that
>Later I'll post screenshots and include meteor in a trailer with dramatic fade in and out, sound pauses, Hollywood style
from this post of his on the steam forums (scroll down a bit).
Now sure you can say its something like what happened in the book but it really isn't. And with your constant accusations of trolling I'm starting to think you are the one trying to rustle up my jimmies.
I know there's one on the /StalkerGeneral/, I'm not sure if that's the one you found but here.
https://mega.nz/#F!UpIFQAaS!azP78S8xIqsmRoZV3BOHkg
I'm just waiting for the official add-on personally, I know there will be an anon patch after that and it should be good to go.
Head bob can get changed with in-game console command https://pcgamingwiki.com/wiki/S.T.A.L.K.E.R.:_Shadow_of_Chernobyl#Remove_head_bob
As for mods people will probably recommend here Complete mod (Not sure if it's outdated or not) or Reclamation project to keep the game vanilla feel but with bug fixes.
Ok so to answer my own question and maybe help people in the future, i found this handy mod by strelocc who i can't thank enough : https://www.moddb.com/addons/doctor-marker
Using the console (doc_mark) after placing the script in scripts folder, it places a marker on you pda map at the doc's location. It's apparently made for Anomaly, but it works perfectly fine with Dead Air.
So i'm good, thanks again strelocc and i hope this guide future people having troubles in the right way.
I was at the freedom base just patrolling the near by important characters, then after i got back from speaking to Lukrash, I was given the task on my PDA "protect the base from mutants" next thing you know big, small, massive giant spiders where flooding the base within just less than 3 minutes i see freedom guys getting clawed and devoured by the horde of the them coming in and out of the bases houses and buildings, it was fucking terrifying.oh and here is the mod : https://www.moddb.com/mods/call-of-chernobyl/addons/mutants-model-pack-2-v10
i would recommend starting on the hardest difficulty. i know it sounds stupid but the game seems to be balanced around it. it doesn't increase enemy health at all, but it does make them go down easier due to some weird gun stat magic, and makes them more accurate, so you have to be super cautious because a lucky headshot will kill you. this tension is kind of the appeal of stalker though so i would highly recommend it. Here's an add-on for Complete 2009 that will up the outgoing and incoming damage value. Also worth noting, now that you've installed Complete you'll have access to the gamedata folder and all the text files within. You can also adjust the values in some of them to change damage, so you can customise it to your liking. I'm not an expert on this but it's very easy to do and there are plenty of guides out there.
Yeah its one of those high contamination areas or w/e filled with magical white bullcrap mist that somehow instantly hurts you even when you have a gas mask..
You can go about this 2 ways, either getting a closed-respiratory suit what isnt really possible early game, or buy those poorly balanced airtanks which will allow you to go there, however they are quite limiting in terms of carry weight.. I did an addon tho that tweaks these specific airtanks if you would find yourself struggling with it..
Also I should mention that you dont really need to go thru that area, except for exploration reasons.. You can get to yantar thru agroprom, but watch out for the toxic fields, anomalies and radiation on a way there
Also theres one more early area where the mist is present, and thats an agroprom underground, however that can be avoiding taking another entrance or sprinting thru it, just to save you some trouble for later, imo I think there should be npcs that warn you about these things thru dialog/stories or w/e.. Too bad we dont really get that, other than sids short dialogue
Easiest way that might be enough for you is to download and install https://www.moddb.com/mods/stalker-com/addons/com-mutant-ambient-sound-removal which should work for most versions of stalker.
If there are other noise bothering you you'll need to dig deeper. Most of the noises are stored in sounds\ambient\rnd_outdoor or it's parent\sibling\subdirectories. You'll need a database extractor to get access to those folders. Find the files you don't like and replace them with one of the sound files from the linked addon above - they're all silent. (take copy(s) of rnd_mutant_1.ogg and rename them to whatever file(s) you want to replace and place the renamed files in the appropriate folder in the stalker\gamedata\sounds filetree)
Modded my Anomaly looks better than DA.Back to the roots world and over that this mod.
https://www.moddb.com/mods/call-of-chernobyl/addons/absolute-nature-redux
for anomaly or coc one does exist. since it's a plug in you could try it out, but make sure to make a safety copy of your directory before

Edit: heres the link
In the addon page there's "back to the roots" addon, it restores the brownish look of the game, the "sad" atmosphere.
I personally like the greener look of original anomaly, makes the zone seem "untouched", just like irl Chernobyl
https://www.moddb.com/addons/stalker-anomaly-back-to-the-roots-world
Yeah, it’s kinda newer, and it stays true to the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. experience in my opinion. Although it’s more focused on faction-vs-faction warfare, but I like it that way. Check it out - you may enjoy it too!
That's an ENB being put onto the game, or a Reshade. Basically, it's a modification that hooks onto the game's DirectX settings, and overlays it with its own effects. Unfortuantly the settings that person is using has been lost to time (The DL links in the description no longer work), but, here's a substitute:
https://www.moddb.com/mods/call-of-chernobyl/addons/photorealistic-zone
This was the one I used before I stopped playing CoC. It has the Depth of Field effect you're looking for, a bunch of different versions for how overboard you want to go, and you can modify it yourself.
You can also use this one: http://www.skyrim-beautification-project.com/stalker/call_of_chernobyl/index.htm
I've only used the Last Day version with only some of the HD addons and the ENB, and that was very high quality. Install as much or as little of it as you want, and tweaking it should be easier too since this version of Reshade comes with its own menu.
this seems like a prefetch issue - follow this process: Right click on Call of Chernobyl shortcut, click on properties, click on shortcut tab, look for target line, so now add -noprefetch at the very end of the line. So for Target it should now be something like this "D:\S.T.A.L.K.E.R. - Call of Chernobyl\Stalker-CoC.exe" -noprefetch source link here
>Not enough storage is available to process this command.
Memory problem. Is it repeatable? If it is then the game doesn't have access to enough RAM to load. Try using a 64bit engine for CoC (assuming you have a 64bit CPU). 64bit CoC thread here. Otherwise lower settings/remove graphics mods. Large Address Aware may also work but I think CoC is already LAA'd.
Anyone interested, check this link for an excellent MetaFilter post with lots of links about the Liquidators/biorobots and a good thread below it with lots more links and discussion.
Insane amounts of content. Here's the mod page. It's my favorite way to enjoy Stalker, probably of all time. The memory requirement is to keep things loaded into RAM to prevent any stutter and keep everything silky smooth. The memory demand may seem high until you pool together your system and VRAM to the calculation. Suddenly, your 2GB VRAM GPU and 4GB RAM computer can click the 6GB setting.
Give Anomaly a go. I'm sure you'll love it.
Either download the Zone Reclamation Project for bugfixes and a few extra features (like repairing gear, or sleeping), or the STARTER Pack for ZRP plus upgraded textures, animations, and shaders. EDIT: STARTER Pack can introduce new bugs with its graphical effects depending on your hardware... if you have an older or more modest rig, stick with ZRP.
no, i download it from a russian forum,
this is the oxygen 64 bit engine
https://www.moddb.com/mods/x-ray-oxygen-project
im trying to make it work, i don t use windows, i use linux all mods work well under linux but im trying to make this work, if you use windows it will be easy for you just install it, and misery will work in 64 bit.
Try some Weapon Mods like Arsenal Overhaul + Atmosfear.
If you want a New Game Experience i suggest you Stalker Clear Sky Factions Mod: https://www.moddb.com/mods/stalker-clear-sky-the-faction-war
I recommend checking out the add-ons page if you ever feel like it giving it another shot. There are a ton of tweaks there for things like stamina, movement speed, the economy, AI awareness, etc.
Yup. If you use matches next to one it will light, as well I created this addon so you can also use the lighter as for some reason the devs didn't add that...
https://www.moddb.com/mods/dead-air/addons/ignitable-campfires
There is a mod called "Dead Air: Easier Tweaks" which has several options one of which adjusts the stamina system. If you don't want to do that, go into "gamedata\configs\creatures\actors.ltx" and open with notepad or notepad++. Go to line 190-195, variables stand_power - sprint_k.
Link for the mod:
I’m not sure if there’s a gamedata folder. I don’t tinker or mod STALKER myself.
Oh, just FYI, after downloading Anomaly Repack, you might want to make sure to get the pre-release test patch: https://www.moddb.com/mods/stalker-anomaly/news/stalker-anomaly-mod-pack
Apparently this fixes some crashes. I wasn’t aware of this, and didn’t get the test patches, and did crash a few times with the stock download.
Hate to do this but you are better off reading. https://www.moddb.com/mods/stalker-anomaly
In my case the 64bit engine implemented runs fantastic in my linux/wine environment. It is also "standalone". original game installation not required.
Sound Restoration bring back old annoying sounds that even developers ditched, seriously avoid mods that bring back old sounds unless you like low quality, squeaking monster sounds and ambient sounds that sound like some teenager screaming behind corner using his laptop microphone.
As for Structure Redux and Absolute Nature, for most of time they just sharpen default textures, there is maybe 20-30 new textures. Better check this one: https://www.moddb.com/mods/stalker-two-k
It is heavy mod, so if you have lags/OOM crashes download "Tinny Little" version.
Smurths Dynamic HUD dynamic hud is cool for first hour, then at least for me its starting to be annoying... -_-
Instead of Living Zone ** I would install **warfare, it will create some sort of simple rts mode in game where all factions fight for territories and resources. It create nice feeling of dynamic zone where factions fight for locations and you can be a leader and send squads to conquer whole maps or do it by yourself. You need to fight for resources areas so your squads will have better equipment and for bases and other areas to prevent enemies to get to map. CoC dont have story, and copy/paste missions get annoying after some time so this mod really make game more entertaining.
Packaged in that Anomaly mod.
Do not have a wealth of experience with stalker mods. That said, this particular mod provides the best "low stress" RPG experience thus far.
There are quite a few out there, such as this one https://www.moddb.com/mods/call-of-chernobyl/addons/mutants-model-pack-1-v10 but without specifying which game you are trying to mod you will get fewer responses.
It goes CoP (Call of Pripyat) > CoC (Call of Chernobyl) > CoM (Call of Misery) > Last Day 1.3 > Anomaly. So yeah it's just mods building on top of each other to improve even further. Last Day 1.3 is standalone I believe, but it's unbalanced by itself, I think you need https://www.moddb.com/mods/stalker-anomaly to rebalance it. I haven't played Anomaly but I have played Last Day 1.3 and it's not exactly ideal by itself. There is also an extremely polished (CoM based) mod coming out soon called Dead Air. It's out in a few weeks.
It is the mod thing indeed. But yeah it is unbalanced af. You need to download addons ans tweaks to make it more fair. If your PC can handle it, I recommand you to give a try to anomaly, which is a modpack based on last day using a 64-bits version. Everything you need to know is in the mod description here : https://www.moddb.com/mods/stalker-anomaly
Weird, I have dual monitors too but haven't encountered this problem with Stalker.
I do have a workaround for you though: http://ddmm.sourceforge.net/
Using this program you can capture the cursor on one screen.
Here is the original file extracted from the game: https://cloud.openmailbox.org/index.php/s/bhVQAijlukbe4zp
The format is in OGG, which has higher sound quality than MP3. Should you still wish to convert it to MP3 you can use software like Audacity, for example.
Not sure regarding the licensing of the file.
"Oh wow those boars busted you up pretty bad better buy some of my meds to fix yourself up. Now i guess you'll be needing another job because you have no money left"
This is the only download I found a few months ago https://thepiratebay.org//torrent/10619954 If it's not working I can upload it to my Google drive. Even though this was my first mod, playing this after about 4 years of STALKER it felt really shitty. Like the basic artifacts have boosted stats (mama's beads +20% bf), but the transmutation makes them worse, cars are poorly implemented, etc.
This isn't exactly it but it's definitely the most customizable launcher out there. It would be hard to make it look like a pda because you'd need to make a lot of PNGs for UI and stuff but it's definitely possible
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ss.launcher2
Yes, it should be installed as standalone.
get the newest version from here...
the link is also found here.. look for the "repository" link http://www.tecnobacon.com/
the guy who looks after stalkersoup.com has dis-appeared and no one has seen him for weeks!
Yes and no, it was a mod, now it’s “standalone” which means it doesn’t require anything else, you just download the file here. If you read the description he lists the version I’m using as “32 bit from October 2018”
It combines the maps from all 3 games into one massive landscape
I would recommend Increased weapon damage v.1.6 for AO3 CoC 1.4.18+
There are four types of damage that you can choose from.
Other than WARFIGHTER, I don't know any other addon that increases damage.
Are you talking about the original Stalker Shadow of Chernobyl game? If so, I can suggest the Starter Pack, it keeps the gameplay vanilla, letting you learn the mechanics but updates graphics and fixes a lot of bugs.

If you want a mod that just makes stalkers(including the player) easier to kill without altering combat with mutants then you can try one of the mods featured this mod pack that I have made. It should work just fine with ZRP.
There are a couple reskin mods,I’m not sure if they will affect your performance or not but they add new mutants like bears and a swarm of locust like bugs https://www.moddb.com/mods/call-of-chernobyl/addons/mutants-model-pack-1-v10 https://. www.moddb.com/mods/call-of-chernobyl/addons/bear-model-pack-for-coc-v10 ,just a little advice do t get the burer reskin it looks autistic.
Have you been to the zone? When first encountering the suit, thought the name was a parody, dark humor. Something a budding anomaly hunter from the steppes might take a...shining to.
If a gamer, recommend trying STALKER - LA DC. It's in the 'Files' section parts 1 thru 6. A 6gb download and with the standard patches and mods it'll take up about 14 gigs.
For your bandit gameplay, try the Infiltration Addon: sometimes dead stalkers drop their (damaged) armor, and you can wear it to disguise as a member of their faction (noone must see you while you change armor, and the condition of the armor determine how much you seems suspicious to the members of that faction).
Thanks, and the mod is g'damn dope. There is one guy translating to english, it is pretty far along. It's up to him if he wants to include the enb preset as an optional download on the Moddb page. I may release the preset separately.
Some tips:
Chernobyl chronicles and Oblivion lost have translations
A version that, according to SRP author, been quite outdated and does not contain many vital and essential fixes. You should have used this: https://www.moddb.com/games/stalker-clear-sky/downloads/ao-v12-srp-v112-patch

Also if you're intereted in OLR, you should know that there's also a mod called Oblivion Lost which is actually just cut content for the vanilla game, it has nothing to do with OLR, that's why I also included "install instructions" above, as it's not quite clear what to download on moddb.
The CoC files are packed an you'll need to unpack them, With this Then go to \S.T.A.L.K.E.R. - Call of Pripyat\gamedata\unpacked\sounds\music an change what your after.
They kickstarted a project called The Seed back in April but its long finished now. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/989416433/the-seed-0
I play CoC 1.4.22 with the latest 64bits engine found there : https://bitbucket.org/SeargeDP/coc-1.4-xray-64/downloads/
While at the loading it says "Anomaly" i have been playing for several months with it without any crash. I don't think it is compatible with the beta 1.5 of CoC unfortunately, but i can only confirm it works great with 1.4.22 and the following mods : DRXCoCQuestlines1.25 DRXCoCDynamicFactionRelations1.8 Outfit_Addon_1.4.7 TRX_-Dynamic_News_Revamp_4.3 TRX-Dynamic_Relations_1.1 Lost_to_the_Zone_v1.6 Lost_to_the_Zone-Storyline.14 TRX-_Global_Weather_2.2
The stuttering may be more related to the spawn/unspawn/activation of npc/mutants than using a 64bits engine actually (the 64bits engine may help more with the game not crashing when running out of memory as 32bits can only use a limited amount of RAM)
To help alleviate the problem, there are some possible editing of the alife.ltx file that you may want to try : https://www.moddb.com/mods/stalker-misery/forum/thread/alifeltx-objects-per-upate-stuttering-reduction/
This addon may be useful for you

Hmm... okay, I'm no modding expert, and I've never used this mod before, but I'll give it my best shot. Here's a few possibilities I found.
This mod seems finicky, looks like you have to follow the readme to the letter or things will mess up. One common problem (detailed here, check the comments section) is not adding the -nointro -noprefetch tags to the launcher, or having them disappear. Double check to make sure that they're still applied correctly. You might need to add quotation marks ("") to the game path, hopefully that's detailed in the readme. Also, double-check the readme to see if there are any other weird steps you might have overlooked.
If that doesn't work it could be a corrupted file, so you could try simply reinstalling the mod and seeing if that helps.
If you had to merge multiple mods, that can be the cause of the problem as well.
Other than that... it could be the mod doesn't play well with the GOG version of Stalker. I don't know how to fix that.
The problem file seems to be related to the GSC Intro cinematic, so I'm hopeful that the -nointro tag will do the trick. Check the readme, or google, to see how to correctly apply the tag. Hope this helps!

All the maps, including cut beta ones, with a story mode, all running under CoP.
I guess its not nearly as popular as before, but I have 500 hours in it, and I'm still playing it to this day.
For some reason uploading share links to Google Drive nets a 404, so here's a moddb page from where you can download the translation instead: https://www.moddb.com/company/genies-of-the-zone/downloads/oblivion-lost-remake-25-english-translation-patch
