If you're referring to the Grand Key Condominiums, then I'm not surprised. Most of the people who pull out of this complex think they own the road or have some sort of special right-of-way. I feel your pain, OminousG.
I saw a handful of disabled cars on my drive. The water is too deep in places, but some drivers are going too fast in the water and are soaking oncoming cars. My car's air intake is in the front grill, so driving in this mess was dicey.
And the radar shows more rain is coming (as of 7pm)!
In the meantime, I'll continue using Waze.

My waiting on someone is your gain....here I googled that shit for you maritime or marine jobs tampa. I think there is this thing called an AB card or something like that iirc to work on freight/tugs or maybe that is just in NOLA on the Mississippi. Good luck! Edit: here is more on AB card

Something like that is an easy way to get them shortened up. Takes 3 minutes and most dogs get used to doing it after a few sessions.
I'm a dog walker & I've encountered off leash dogs several times. Carrying this has been a helpful deterrent. (It doesn't harm the animal; it just shoots a scent they don't like.)
The best defense has been keeping my eyes peeled. If I see an off leash dog, I immediately turn in another direction. I don't use retractable or flimsy leashes. It's really unfortunate having to be on guard like that but people don't see outside of their own bubble.

The total rain in 2013 for that rain event in Tampa was about 10-20 inches total over three weeks (depending on your location), not 30-40 inches :) You can check it out here -
50 inches of rain in the amount of time that Houston is getting it would cause incredible flooding.
I’m psyched about this! Definitely want to try riding the entire thing in the next week or two.
I took a stab at making a route on Ride With GPS to mimic the route taken in the time lapse video for anyone who would like to see the route, or ride it themselves.
Route starting in Clearwater Beach:
https://ridewithgps.com/routes/29870766
Route starting at Cypress Point (just a reverse of the above route):
https://ridewithgps.com/routes/29870796
Disclaimers:
1) I live in Tampa and have never ridden any farther than the end of the Duke Energy Trail. Anything further west than that is my best guess from looking at google maps, and not from actually having ridden there in person. Follow my route at your own risk.
2) I’m a novice when it comes to route planning on Ride With GPS, so perhaps my route is not as elegantly plotted as someone who’s been using it for a long time. Let me know if you have any suggestions to make the route better or simpler.
So...this excited me today - Costco has badass stainless growlers just like the Yeti canteens for 27.99. They even are made to hold carbonation. They come in black or stainless. I was at the Brandon location they are down near the mattresses near eye clinic side of store aisle after the bedsheets. Edit..it is the same growler that is on that amazon link but 28.00
Networking and Systems Administration guy here. I'll give you a little bit more in depth answer.
Frontier is horrible, but at this point the issues are with where they send your internet traffic before it hits where it needs to go, not with the service in your neighborhood MOST OF THE TIME. Think of it like I4 on a Saturday morning that's come to a slowdown because everyone's trying to get off the same 3 exits for Disney at the same time (netxflix or your favorite website in this case).
There IS a cheap way to fix this, which is what I'm using and has worked really well when issues like the massive Frontier slowdowns today have popped up.
A personal VPN routes your traffic a different way (or the way you want it to go if you really want to get complicated) while still getting it to the same destination. It does this by essentially using back roads that on paper may take longer but in reality are faster because of much less congestion in the total route. They also do things like encrypt all of your internet traffic so that your internet provider or anyone snooping on your connection cant see what you're doing as easily.
I'd recommend Private Internet Access.
Closest (30 minutes) might be stuff on Tampa Bay like Davis Island Dog Park, Ben T. Davis, or Cypress Point Park, none of which are very exciting.
If you drive on out to the gulf (60 minutes) there are some of the best-rated beaches in the world. St. Pete Beach and Clearwater Beach are more traditional "spring break" style beaches - great sand, lots of businesses, lots of people. Ft. Desoto and Honeymoon Island are parks so there are less businesses, no condos, etc.
I went in 2012, back when a special visa was required. I flew directly from TPA to Havana.
Everyone in Cuba was very nice and my wife and I felt much safer in Havana than we have in most other major cities. We stayed at the Hotel Nacional De Cuba for part of the trip - which was a short taxi ride/decent walk to historic Havana. The hotel was very nice, but check Tripadvisor for other closer options too. Make sure you go to the Tropicana Club: http://www.tripadvisor.com/Attraction_Review-g147271-d147979-Reviews-Tropicana-Havana_Cuba.html While I was very pessimistic about it, it was amazing and well worth the cost. It is like a Las Vegas show - but felt more authentic.
I'd recommend flying there. It will be easier, cheaper, and allow you to spend more time in the country. Also, it seems like most of the tourists (Canadians) came to Cuba to go to the beaches. So if you stick to the city and countryside, you'll have a blast and not be inundated with crowds. Out of all the countries I've visited, Cuba was one of my favorite. Have fun!
Here are some photos from the trip: http://www.tampachanging.com/cuba/

Please feel free to call and email them. Keep contacts brief and to the point. Write down your points before you contact them to ensure that you hit them. Ideas for focusing your thoughts: We support the access students have to the premier faculty, staff and resources that USF currently provides. These cuts are extraordinary and excessively targeted at USF for reasons that have not been made clear, and will cause irreparable damage to the campus and student body immediately. Targetting USF in this way also causes significant economic hardship on businesses, particularly small businesses, that greatly benefit from having the robust university population in their region, and harming those businesses during a particularly difficult economic time will further depress the region at a crucial moment of potential growth.
Good luck.
According to their website, the Tampa Bay Chapter of the American Red Cross has a dropbox for clothing donation at Quest Diagnostic (directly across Fowler). There are also quite a few others in the area.

Hey fellow MTB'er here! I ride the same locales along with Carter Rd, Croom and Santos. If you're in Seffner you should definitely check out Carter Rd. in Lakeland - not that far from you. I live in N. Tampa so riding during the week is more difficult for me, but I'm definitely out on Sunday mornings.
If you get on Strava (with your Android/iOS device) to track your rides it makes it easier to see who else rides when/where and has a good social aspect to it.
Additionally, Swamp MTB Club holds club rides at rotating trail locations every Sunday morning. It's usually a pretty big turnout (20-40 riders deep)!
My Strava: https://www.strava.com/athletes/550399
If all else fails there's a HART line commuter bus from Tampa to Lakeland. This site quotes it at $22 to go from TPA to downtown hub then to Lakeland.
Bearcat BCD436HP is the one I use. It takes some programming and sometimes the range on it is a little off, but it works great for the most part, and it'll pick up almost every type of system. It's kind of neat about half of the departments around here are on the P25 (most of Pinellas County, USF, Temple Terrace, Pasco).
I tried the SDR thing but it was so complicated, I was not impressed.
Correct, we're just capital of the USA. If you download the Windy app for android that will give you live feed of how often lightning strikes when the weather radar picks it up, it's actually pretty nifty.
Download the app and feel that bitch vibrate off the chart come Friday when Fred gets here. You'd think you're holding a pair of electric clippers in the palm of your hand 😂
No clue what you mean. I just downloaded Raid: Shadow Legends using Honey to find the cheapest price in Norway, which I bought by faking my location using NordVPN to put on my smartphone with my DBrand case that I paid for using the credit card in my Ridge Wallet. If you want to hear more about my life listen to my autobiography on Audible, link on my site designed by Square space!
...I think I got all the main ones?
This one is on sale, and includes bump-recording. If your car gets bumped it automatically starts recording. It has other good features and is well reviewed. Don't forget to buy an SD card for it, but they are super cheap these days. NOT an affiliate link, just trying to help!
Hey all! Reposting this from another thread I commented on about this issue. I spent most of yesterday trying to nail down what's wrong.

There is a tiny bit of woods tucked away in town with some trails and a small river and a lake. It's very small, and it's not even on google maps, but there are two entrances off the upper tampa bay trail, just north of Manhattan Dr, here: https://maps.google.com/maps?q=27.879683,-82.170863&ll=28.071076,-82.568052&spn=0.003337,0.004128&num=1&t=h&z=19 And no, it's just not somebody's land, there is park signage there, but it's understated.
You want quiet? You want obscure? You want somewhere so off-the-beaten-path that not even Google knows it exists?

Alderman's Ford Preserve (or somesuch like that) is a few hundred acres on the north side of the Alafia River, stretching from Turkey Creek Road in the east over to the west until it's cut off by the river. Open daylight hours, with a small and extremely easy-to-miss parking lot located on Turkey Creek Road at the coordinates given. Lots of forest, a large empty field, a small lake, and about a mile of riverbank...and almost certainly no people.
Publix is probably the best option based on what's close to you. Like the other person said, there is a Fresh Market down the road but it's not exactly cheap (not that Publix is either). It might be worth it for you to drive to one of the newer Publix locations, might have more selection. I think the one closest to the location you provided is pretty old.
As far as restaurants, here are a couple lists: here and here. Some chain but some not. Stein and Vine is really amazing if you are into beer at all. The food is top notch.

True, however on the outside of it, lower gas prices mean more people (all of those who drive at least) have more money in their pockets. That extra money, for the most part, goes back into businesses who hire more due to increased demand.
Granted, it would have to remain low for a while (some are predicting it'll hit ~$70 a barrel next year) to start a positive trend and would only be a tiny facet of the overall economy. If peoples property taxes dropped by 20%, people would simply spend more money. Oil prices dropping is, in a way, like lowering the "tax" on driving.
But, like you said, gas prices being low are no measure of an economy because of completing global markets and shit. However, there is no doubt that lower gas prices are good for everyone that drives.
edit: Right after I typed this, This popped up from /r/Economics.
According this this random shit I found on Google, the aquifer was actually named after the hotel! I remember hearing at some point that the adjective for "one who resides in Florida" used to be "Floridan" waaayyyyback in the day, and has switched to Floridian due to popular usage over the course of multiple decades. I've been googling furiously but I can't find the origin for the name of the Hotel, or the word itself...
AllTrails is boss.
Check out the North Bay Trail. Park in Riviera Park and bike toward downtown. You'll enjoy historic homes of Old NE and great views of the bayou. Grab some grub or beer in St. Pete or hop on the Pineallas trail for a longer ride. https://www.alltrails.com/explore/trail/us/florida/north-bay-trail
If you want a memorable experience and a place she'll probably ask you to take her to, once again, in the future... I would recommend Edward Medard Park.
I've had picnics there, camped, hiked, went gator watching, and even had an epic swordbattle on a moonlit tower..
There are a number of fields and last we were there... sought out about 5 geocaches distributed throughout the grounds. They've since added disc golf and of course you always shouldn't miss the mounds (and those trees)...
I really enjoyed my pizza and garlic knots when we went to Eddie & Sams a few months ago. There is a large display case with a bunch of their pizzas displayed by the slice and the price. You select the one you want and they put it in the oven. I say one slice, because you are right, they're very large slices.
The table next to us ordered their largest pizza that took up most of the table. Very touristy, but I liked it.

Croom Trail in Withlacoochee State Forest is awesome, kind of a hike but worth it. They have awesome races there.
There's also trails in the Alafia River park.
As for longer paved trails, there's Upper Tampa Bay Trail, Courtney Campbell Causeway, Bayshore Blvd + Tampa Riverwalk
German Bistro, family owned and operated.
AirBandB can have some pretty good deals and it's a fun experience and good way to meet people and find things to do. Give it a look and see if it is something you're open to.
If you're not looking for that exact thing, here is a well-reviewed portable mattress: https://www.amazon.com/Olee-Sleep-Topper-Tri-Folding-Memory/dp/B075S5JTGW/ref=sr\_1\_6?dchild=1&keywords=portable+memory+foam+mattress&qid=1622348016&sr=8-6
You don't need to pay for a subscription to do a dash cam.
If you want my recommendation as an ex-deputy, I use this one.
All you need is a micro-SD card (and something that can read them) and you're off to the races.
What antenna and where are you? I have a mohu leaf antenna and it works great in north Brandon. Its much more receptive/effective than my older HD antenna. It's tacked on the wall behind the TV. I get 56 channels total. Cheaper on Amazon, but Best Buy has them and price matches.
https://www.amazon.com/Mohu-Paper-thin-Reversible-Performance-MH-110583/dp/B004QK7HI8
My wife and I went with white tungsten carbide rings from amazon, such as these. While you have to be extra sure you get the right size (as tungsten can not be re-sized), the plus side is they are very inexpensive (~$20), and they don't scratch. I've worn mine every day, I work with my hands, and it looks as bright and shiny as the day I bought it.
Color-wise, it looks very similar to white gold.
I have the Spectrum 100/10 Internet only package. I am getting ~120Mbps/9Mbps. I also do not use any of their hardware. I purchased a D-Link CableModem from Amazon (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004UGG5KE/) and I use my own firewall/router. I avoid the $4.00/month modem fee and the $4.00/month WiFi fee which is a pile of BS.
One reason you might be having some slow issues could be your hardware. Two weeks ago a friend was telling me the same thing, but she was only getting around 25Mbps on her Business 100Mbps plan. I connected a test laptop directly to her cablemodem, bypassing her router, and instantly got the 100Mbps. After a little more testing, I determined that it was her Cisco Router causing the issue. I tried updating the firmware and that didn't help so it needed to be replaced. I installed a new router for her and now she is up to where she should be at 100Mbps.
So you might want to test your networking hardware, but be careful about connecting computers directly to the Internet because exploits can occur in only a few minutes. Make sure you are fully patched, software firewall are on and working properly, before you attempt this or use a device that you don't care to wipe/reload if necessary.
This has been a frequent issue on the BHN forum:
There are some tips in there. I assume since you are Torrenting, you are using a VPN like Private Internet Access. If you login to the VPN do the issues resolve?
It's amazing you're being downvoted for this. I have recently been reading Daniel Kahneman's "Thinking, Fast and Slow" and there is a brief anecdote where he talks about governments planning commuter rail in several instances worldwide. Taken as a whole, each instance of rail cost over 100% more than was projected and served only half as many people as projected.
The broader point Kahneman was making here is most people are poor at predicting (and this includes planning commissions for things like commuter rail), and for better ideas of how to plan we should look at other examples of similar projects.
I smoke turkey legs regularly and just ended up ordering a container of it off of Amazon. It wasn't very expensive and came in quickly. Lasts quite a while since you don't need much. Less hassle than running all over Tampa trying to locate some.
I'll help you out.
Just FYI, I was shopping for a mattress at Ikea a few weeks ago, I felt that their selection of mattresses was pretty awful and the prices were relatively high for the product they were selling. I ended up taking a gamble and I ordered this mattress from Amazon, which cost about the same amount but it ended up being MUCH more comfortable than anything Ikea offered.
Either way, if you've decided on buying an Ikea mattress I'll help you.
I use this and really like it. It tends to fill up once a day and I have to manually empty it. It has helped tremendously in my 2 bedroom apartment. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B09HDTTCKZ/ref=ppx\_yo\_dt\_b\_search\_asin\_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Nah, it's not gaspar. "Large burial mounds remaining from Tocobaga civilization are still present today, with the oldest one located overlooking Old Tampa Bay. However, only a few have survived the development the area has undergone in modern times. Many people think the mounds could be providing supernatural protection from hurricanes"
>Joe Maddon led the team to a World Series in 2008, when they were winning, the Rays were the only thing people were talking about. They had numbers at games, they were doing great money wise.
Not really, no. In 2008, the Rays still ranked near the bottom in attendance. http://www.espn.com/mlb/attendance/_/year/2008
Tampa Bay remains the only multi-team sports market where the NHL team has a higher average attendance than the MLB team does. It's all about the location of the ballpark and the stadium experience. The team can succeed here, but not in Pinellas county. It's either Hillsborough or anywhere else.
SoHo is the little area on South Howard by Swann. I don't know much of the area, I just moved here when school started! And I am working tonight, til 12 so not much good. :(
Drive to Port Richey and go to Alex's Place. BEST BURGER EVER... want to stay local in Tampa then go to Burger Monger, like most say.
This sounds like Sleep No More! From what I have heard about these immersive interactive performances, 100.00 is well worth it!
Lake Park and Lake Rogers Park (Keystone) for sorta wilderness parks. Lake Park and Northdale Park have decent playgrounds (not sure how old your daughter is). If you can swing the cost, the Northdale YMCA has a water play area for kids. Lutz has some dog parks near the library.
One lesser-known "beach" option from Tampa is Cypress Point Park just south of Tampa airport. It's not a gulf beach but it beats the drive.
From Carrollwood, you can shoot across Curlew / Tampa Road / Hillsborough or Linebaugh to get to Honeymoon Island pretty quickly compared to all the traffic to Clearwater Beach or anywhere south of that. It's pretty rocky and requires a park fee but it's good for a quick beach fix.
I got clips like these at Home Depot. They were super quick and easy to put up once I had the boards cut.
Really great non-fiction read on this and how one man screwed over a whole lotta people by denying what the Cuban meteorological office kept telling him was going to happen: Isaac's Storm.
A quick search of rock-auto for NEW parts....
A brand new condenser is $50-$65
You want a new dryer too, thats gonna cost you big...$9-$12
Throw in some new O-rings for $4
Maybe oil, but you probably don't need it... $5.
Three cans of refrigerant from autozone for example... $11x3=$33
Then get some gauges from amazon...
And a harbor freight vacuum pump... $45
Go watch some youtube videos and you will see the condenser is the easiest part of the AC to replace as its right in front of the car and get to wrenching.
AC repair is seen as voodoo, but its pretty damned simple on cars so just read up and fix it, it will probably take you less time to actually fix the problem than to wait on someone to take you to the AC shop, drop off the car, do the paperwork, and then go pick it up.
Once mold has taken root you have very little chance of getting rid of it unless you're keeping the humidity at desert levels.
Sounds more like a structure problem than an HVAC one.
You can get a cheap hygrometer (https://www.amazon.com/ThermoPro-TP50-Digital-Thermometer-Temperature/dp/B01H1R0K68) to tell you what your current humidity levels are. In my central AC home it hovers between 48-56 most of the year and I do not have moisture or mold problem.s
What kind of motorcycle parts? As for a tender, I use this... https://smile.amazon.com/Battery-Tender-021-0123-Junior-Charger/dp/B000CITK8S/ref=mp_s_a_1_3?crid=3EGLQRNWTGRHG&keywords=motorcycle+tender+battery+charger&qid=1658153032&sprefix=motorcycle+tender%2Caps%2C123&sr=8-3 And I bleed my brakes myself without a kit
I pulled my numbers off a kill-a-watt, it's been fun looking at how much each appliance draws and watching power load go up with server load.
The past couple years, I've replaced all my curtains with blackout curtains for the summer. (I like these because they are true blackout curtains. They are lined with a white vinyl-type fabric, so NO light gets through.)
My house is now a very dark cave during day, my electric bills have gone down, and my AC doesn't sound like it's dying when I set it to 73 during the day.
At a minimum you can look into doing window tints. Bonus points if they're ceramic as they have a heat rejection property.
You can buy the stuff of of Amazon and apply it yourself. That one was picked at random, so just poke around at what you're after. It is 100% a pain in the ass to do though. I had my wife do the window above the door, and the window in my office, and then she said she'd never do it again because it was such a PITA.
The one in my office has cat hairs and such between the tint and the window, and there's bubbles/wavy bits here and there, but it's all DIY, so, whatever, it gets the job done.
We got curtain rods like these for my office, so they wrap around the window, and it just stops the light from getting in on the sides.
Light can come out at the top, but between the curtains and the window tint, it might as well not even be there.

I bought it for $90 last year, at least buy a 32GB classs 10 card
I'm not sure why you' d want to do that but hey, free country and its your teeth.
Yup, just checked & they haven't streamed in a month. They were just casting the feed from a scanner app to YT though.
I just use Scanner Radio - Police Scanner now. Lightweight, free and you can easily add channels and switch between all the ones you want.

Between that book, practice, and Youtube you can be playing by the end of the week.
Changing to a decent router was an eye-opening experience for me.
I’d always had the $70-100 Linksys ones which had always been adequate for my needs but WFH with multiple people on Skype/Zoom/Teams and me remoting into my work desktop, it just wasn’t working. Ended up down a rabbit hole that lead me to this and I’ll never cheap out again…
Found this with a quick google....https://dexascan.com/locations/usa/florida/dexafit-florida-2/
I know some doctors offer it, but not sure who does these days
Also has a groupon...https://www.groupon.com/biz/tampa/dexafit-body-fat-testing-tampa
Feb is prime county fair and festival season. And so many great outdoors options like:
- charter a fishing boat.
- horse riding lessons/treks.
- skeet/target clay shooting. Tampa Bay Sporting Clays is an absolute blast - even for beginners
- Everglades
- road trip to the Keys
Huge variety on Groupon. https://www.groupon.com/occasion/things-to-do-outdoor-activities
That makes sense. If you're in downtown tampa, perhaps look at (also on groupon) Magic Carpet Glide. It's a few hours on a segway touring the city. It's pretty cool! I did it with my husband and kids a few years ago and we had a blast, found lots of areas even we hadn't been to, and we live here! https://www.groupon.com/deals/magic-carpet-glide-3
So looking at the actual numbers it looks like global warming might be a thing.
July 2020 average temp - 84.43
July 2019 average temp - 81.88
It is better to show up to a meet-up (meetup.com) with a common intrest besides something generic like drinking or posting on reddit. Try something that is related to your hobby, be it gaming, hiking, food, etc
I'm a little biased (as a co-founder) but yeah Tampa Hackerspace is a good place to build some connections in a lot of techie areas. We have an open house most Tuesday nights and other free public events at different times - just find us on Meetup.com and everything that isn't "members only" is open to anyone. Like Friday nights is usually electronics, boardgaming on the third Saturday, sewing every other Sunday, etc.
As far as ham radio, TARC is a very active club and they have a tailgate / flea market (TARCFest) coming up I think Aug 17 - a great time to meet a lot of local hams. CARS (Clearwater) is decent too. There's a small club at USF too but I'm not sure how active they are. They probably 100% overlap with USF XLabs too which is another fun group. You probably don't have to be a student to hang out and do stuff.
CNC stuff... Tampa Hackerspace does a little (and has a Tormach PCNC) and a few members do it for work or serious hobby stuff. There are a few training opportunities in the area but I don't have a list handy. AMROC Fablab at the University mall also has some possible training opportunities coming up and has good contacts.

No shit! It is Florida. Kind of known for its hot weather.

> have the legal right to accost someone for any variety of reasons
Maybe you should look up what the word accost means because if you already recognize he was accosting somebody then here is about a fraction of a second between legally confronting somebody and illegally harassing them if the word accost can be used to describe their behavior.

Well, I know lots of socially awkward and geeky people in the area. You might enjoy hanging out with the Drink and Draw Social Club I started. We have meetups once a month, usually at the Globe in St Pete. If you're looking for geeks, we're certainly swarming with 'em. We're usually pretty welcoming, as well.
If you're talking about UT, you have a few options for gift cards etc. to restaurants, per your response elsewhere. I'd hit up cldeals.com, it's basically a Tampa-specific groupon type of site that's run by our local alt-weekly newspaper. There are a few options convenient to UT currently available. Acropolis South Tampa, That's Amore,Gourmet Pizza Company, District Tavern and Roux are all within a reasonable distance of the campus.
There are, of course, numerous actual groupons for Tampa that are nearby as well. If you go here, click view on map and zoom in once or twice on "Tampa," anything within a reasonable distance from the word Tampa is a good idea.
We have received a copy of Foretold: Rise of a God from Legion Games. This is a game currently on Kickstarter. We will be playing it Saturday starting at 4 pm.

Been going more road at the moment while my hand finishes healing.
Heading to Santos tomorrow for 40ish miles.
Are you saying 100 a day? Because you can rent a car for <45/day.

Ubers for that distance are gonna be about $30 each way so you'll be spending $120 total if you Uber up
New Zealand is the highest profile success, but Australia recently stopped large scale community spread as well. South Korea, Japan, Taiwan, and Vietnam have also had solid success in maintaining a low number of cases both currently and over the course of the pandemic.
I do agree that Covid is very challenging to prevent from spreading, however, we don't need to look to NZ to see what might have been done.
Canada is a better example of what could have been feasible here: 346,000 cases, 37.5 million people = ~8.9 cases per 1000 (or slightly less than 1 in 100)
For the US: 12,600,000 cases, 328 million people = ~37.5 cases per 1000 (or almost 4 in 100)
So we're doing about 4 times worse at containing the spread than a comparable peer country which has a good deal less resources and expertise to combat it.
I don't have any suggestions for a hotel 'round here, but have you ever heard of AirBNB?
It is an awesome site where people rent out or invite people into their homes. In my experience It is usually much cheaper than a hotel.
I just stayed in South Beach Miami the week after July for $80 a night.
Yummy Noodle on waters, I dont know the physical address but it is located west of Armenia, east of N. Florida Ave, if you are traveling westbound on waters, it is on your right hand side, located in a plaza where there is a Citgo gas station located. I really hope this works out. https://maps.google.com/maps?q=28.025571,-82.477644&hl=en&ll=28.025929,-82.476833&spn=0.003315,0.004823&num=1&t=h&z=18
Recalls operate differently than the warranty. They will replace the batteries for free. It's a pretty simple and painless process.

Note: Even if you enter your serial # on the form and it comes up as "not covered" take it anyway. Mine was manufacturered during the time period of devices that are having issues and they took it without a problem even though it didn't come up as covered on the serial number form lookup.
Google Maps says that My Road to DownTown is just 9.5 miles, and most of that is the expressway or the interstate, if you notice turn #4 on the directions that is the expressway, then to interstate.
Once you hit the expressway, both bridges to Clearwater are right there for easy access, it really is quite convenient, hence why I decided to buy here.
