(z.B. Opera oder Firefox)
opera web browser

to answer your question Yes we really desktop web browser would really help us.
it does not need to be chrome it could be Firefox or Microsoft Edge
Samsung has a really good relationship with Microsoft so I think if we got a real desktop web browser it would come from Microsoft.
In Android, get the Opera web browser, tap the menu button, in the upper left corner, tap settings, scroll down to 'Content', tap 'Default user agent', and select 'Desktop'. While you're at it, you can also enable 'Force enable zoom', 'Block pop-ups', and if you like 'text wrap', then scroll up to the top and enable 'Ad blocking'
Enjoy browsing web pages that are usually more feature packed and faster.
first off download this
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.opera.browser
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=free.vpn.unblock.proxy.turbovpn
and then this
turn on the vpn then open opera and it should work fine
if that dosent work try using operas built in vpn with turbo vpn on and it should work fine
Also recommend the regular Opera browser. (Not mini or GX)
Great features build right in. AdBlock, tracker block, VPN, dark Reader, data saver,

As the other commenter mentioned, it's not difficult. But if you just want to test out an alternative to Chrome, Opera for Chrome OS isn't a bad solution.
It's on the Play Store, it doesn't apply the strange tint, and it actually performs pretty well. On the 4k screen of the Galaxy Chromebook, though, you'll run into text scaling issues on the UI. If you're solely doing this for videos, that shouldn't be a big issue.
There seem to be multiple versions of Opera on mobile. Perhaps you accidentally downloaded another? The version with VPN (which you need to toggle in the settings to have it work automatically) is the regular/full size app, but they seem to have a smaller version too, along with a gaming specialized one, a quicker minimalist one and a couple Beta versions. I can't speak for iOS users but on the playstore, it's the one with the simple red O icon: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.opera.browser The app is titled Opera Browser: Personal and Private. In the images showing the app off on the store, one picture says there is built in VPN.
To access the VPN settings, simply tap the three lines in a top corner and click settings. Inside, choose the VPN category. Enable it there.
I use opera on Dex as my web browser. you can get it at
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.opera.browser
works great work almost all web sites in desktop mode. sometimes you still need to go to Chrome but that not much.
desktop youtube work great in Opera web browser.
Welp, ministry of truth is at work. On desktop I use https://github.com/ValdikSS/GoodbyeDPI and on mobile https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.opera.browser&hl=en_US with data saver enabled, which proxies all your browser data through opera servers.
Kiwi is a popular one in recent days.It has the ability to run chrome desktop extensions but there is one downside that it doesn't support desktop sync.Opera is good option if you like using a privacy browser cuz it has inbuilt vpn plus you can also import your chrome password through opera pc browser.
Just install Opera, and dont worry about ads ever.
Plus if you ever have a ''This video isnt avaliable in your country'' it has a built in VPN that you can turn on just like that, and watch whatever ya like.
I like Opera because the UI can be modified to appear similar to a desktop browser with a proper tab bar at the top. It also follows the system light/dark theme on Android 10 which is neat.
Yes. Maybe only on the full Opera app, not the Mini version. But I could be wrong. I just used Mini to listen to Pandora, which isn't supposed to be available here in Canada.
Here's the link to the full version Opera browser (It has VPN right in the name of the app): https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.opera.browser
I know Opera's Android app has an option to automatically resize pages to fit to your screen's width. It does this at any zoom level, without altering the font size. So you can zoom in to make the font big and then it will correct the width of any paragraphs on the page to fit within your device's width. No more horizontal scrolling! It works great and I highly recommend it. Indispensable for reading stuff on mobile.
Not a fan of Opera, but if ads are a problem you could give it a try (link)
I'm using Opera.
Check out the SCREENSHOT, it has tabs on top like a normal browser on pc.
Opera Mobile does all the things you've listed. As a bonus it also has a Tablet UI mode with "proper" tabs at the top of the screen (like you'd have on a desktop browser).
(inb4 someone laments about Opera having been bought by a Chinese company)
Texting: whatever standard app is installed on my phone (nobody uses SMS anymore where I live)
Browser: Opera. I use it on PC too, so having my bookmarks and history synced is pretty neat. I also like its tablet mode where I have actual tabs on the top of the screen like on desktop browsers. I can't get used to android browsers that don't have that option.
Opera Mobile browser is based on Chromium and it has an Ad-Blocker built in.
I'm a fan of opera. I've been using it for close to 17 years now.

In my experience, Opera feels lighter than Chrome, and both use the same engine (Blink). This means both browsers can be (and usually are) more advanced and more up-to-date than the Android built-in WebView (which I believe other "browsers" use).
I haven't used Firefox enough times on Android, but it is also worth a try.
Finally, if you want the minimal resource usage at expense of some JavaScript functionality, you can try Opera Mini. Opera Mini is known to be lightweight since the early days of J2ME phone apps.
Also worth noting: both Chrome, Opera and Opera Mini have an optional feature to compress data server-side in their servers (i.e. using Google servers and Opera servers as proxy), so that it transfers less stuff over your mobile link. I don't know about Firefox.
P.S.: After opening (and closing) Chrome, I notice that my phone gets slower. Using Greenify to force-stop Chrome (and any other persistent apps) really helps keeping the phone running smooth. It really works!
Opera. Their speed dial is handy, plus proper bookmark management and the ability to save pages offline!

Can you confirm that regular Opera for Chromebook installs and works fine? See <https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.opera.browser&pli=1>.
Opera GX for Android might have some requirements that Chromebooks don't satisfy. Not sure.
You can look at <https://www.google.com/search?q=opera+gx+chromebook>, but don't know if any of the results will help for Opera GX.
Who said that you need to be in Developer Mode in order to use an alternate browser?
That's not the case. You can use Android (Play Store) and Linux (Crostini) to install alternate Browsers such as Brave, Firefox
