Since OP couldn't be bothered to share it with us, here is the link to the zandronum forums for Doom Kart by Lord_of_D: https://zandronum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=6920
For those few interested, you can get your own t-shirt with CyberJaw at Teespring:
I think that is awesome. For comparison I did not feel the campaign of Wolfenstein TNO was short and that had quite a few cutscenes and some time-wasting side quests where you had to find item-x. Doom 4 should have none of those if the developers are to be believed.
Here are some interesting stats: http://howlongtobeat.com/game.php?id=16886
All playstyles median time for Wolfenstein TNO is 13 hours. Sounds right on the money for Doom 4 and, with the playstyle taken into account, even a little bit longer then I expected.
You need this engine: https://zandronum.com/
Zandronum comes bundled with Doomseeker. When you click "Play Zandronum Online" it opens Doomseeker which shows all active servers. Choose one, let Doomseeker download any necessary files for the server, and then it will launch the Zandronum match. You will need doom2.wad as well.
The guns you're asking about are old Skulltag weapons. While Zandronum did replace Skulltag as the main zdoom based multiplayer engine, it didn't port over all the levels/weapons.
The Skulltag data can be loaded as addons for Zandronum. Any servers using it will have a bunch of files called things like "skulltag_data.pk3" and will download automatically if you choose to run a server using them. The new weapons will show up on maps as pickups then.
You'll probably want to launch options>configure in Doomseeker to make sure it knows the location of your IWADs, PWADs, MODs, and where to save downloaded files.
There isn't really a "duel scene" that I know of, but general multiplayer discussions can be found at www.doomworld.com and the Zandronum forums for starters.
>Maybe id will make a gritty Keen reboot for their next game.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.bethsoft.commanderkeen
It'd be more popular than their last remake.
The book masters of doom goes into detail about how divisive keen was. Some team members HATED working on kids games.... I don't know why I find it so interesting.
https://www.mediafire.com/?9z15mkkv7k4shi1
I made this back in 2011 out of original Doom DOS sound files that I converted over to wav, straight from the game files (For some reason it was very hard to find just the usual soundfiles in wav or mp3 format in good quality).
I've been meaning to share this, so here you go. Hope you like it.
Uhhgh...no thanks.
There are other Doom mods out there that deserve an award instead of voting for the same mod over and over.
Exhibit A: https://www.moddb.com/mods/total-chaos/news/total-chaos-0974-released
so you are looking for a Doom 4 gameplay mod? Here are two:
I personally preffer D4T because D4D has this complex upgrade system like in Doom 4 which imo slows down the gameplay, while in D4T you just find upgrades randomly. Though that makes D4D more similar to Doom 4, if you preffer that.
Also don't use ZDoom. Use GZDoom. The hardware renderer looks much better, offers amazing graphical effects and I think it's required anyway for at least D4D
Considering this DOOM will be closer to the original DOOM than DOOM 3, I think John Carmack's famous quote still stands.. <em>Story in a game is like a story in a porn movie. It's expected to be there, but it's not that important.</em>
Zdoom --> http://zdoom.org/Download
Zandronum --> https://zandronum.com/download
you will need to own the orginal doom games, but this should fit your bill. (you will need to set up the controls though, but once that is done, you should be good to go)
I ordered it from the german amazon site, some months ago. It wasn't in stock there either, so i kinda assumed my order would get cancelled. Then suddenly, two days ago, i got a message from Amazon, that they're sending the vinyl, and i got it today.

Here's a link to where i got it from: https://www.amazon.de/Doom-Original-Game-Soundtrack-Vinyl/dp/B07CLRY86P
I've been playing it for a bit, and really like it so far. The midi tracks are amazing and the level design is great and looks really different than the normal brown and grunge-y techno base levels.
I'm the maintainer of the Freedoom for android app, and I've included SIGIL.wad in the latest update
That's the result of my Flux software that adds colors from the red spectrum to your screen at night. People don't seem to mind it but maybe I could have toned it down a little.
I agree. When they first released Quake 2, I was surprised that id Software had essentially turned it into another Doom series with all the high-tech equipment. Well, we already have a Doom series!
Quake 1 had such a unique environment with ancient, gothic structures and H.P. Lovecraft-esque creatures. From what I've found, the only other FPS game that had similar environments was Painkiller.
Download GZdoom (https://zdoom.org/index). Go in your doom 2 files and find doom2.wad and copy it in the GZdoom folder. Download project brutality (https://www.moddb.com/addons/project-brutality) And drag-drop it on GZdoom.exe and enjoy!
The alpha version looked like an actual shotgun. I have no idea why they decided to change it.
But either way, you can always download the model from here: https://www.moddb.com/mods/alpha-shotgun-mod
The official Doom twitter is saying they're aware of the problem on PS4 and that people seem to be having more luck getting in by signing up to the alpha again.
The signup being here.
As I was about to throw out my box I noticed I could cut off the front panel and get something potentially useful that also folds flat, so I thought I'd share :)
The backdrop cuts down the ambient light so the lights on the model are more visible during the day. (I also used a sharpie to blacken some of the cut edges though it's not necessary)
FWIW the Collector's Editions are still available, and sometimes really cheap at Amazon - I got mine for less than buying just the game on Steam. (It looks like xbox one has the lowest price at-time-of-writing)
Unfortunately the model was broken when it arrived; each of the revenant's feet is attached to just one plastic grating bar of the fan-grill, and the strain had broken the grating bar on one foot, bending into the fan. So I glued the foot to the other bars it was standing on and, hidden under the foot but above the fan, I glued all three bars together, and did the same on the other foot because the model is too big for the slender bars it's attached to. Now it's nice and solid.
To call Freedoom a knockoff is a bit disingenuous. It's a community project to create a set of WAD files under a similar licence to the source code of the engine.
The Freedoom app on the Play store is a fork of a GZDoom for Android project combined with the Freedoom WAD files but can run the originals if you copy them over to your phone.
Don't think they've changed anything yet but here's the Play Store link. I had a hard time finding it to. Used a link in an article to get to it.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.bethsoft.DOOM
There's a port of Freedoom on Android that works reasonably well, once you customize the controls to your liking.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=net.nullsum.freedoom&hl=en_US
Supposedly, it's pretty easy to play the retail WAD files on it because it's just an Android port of GZDoom.
How ironic - I literally came across this app yesterday and it's pretty fantastic once you get the controls down and enable the vertical auto-aiming. Doom's playability on mobile devices really benefits from that gameplay quirk.
For anyone interested:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=net.nullsum.freedoom&hl=en_US
The original game had really akward controlls and why is a N64 title even sold at that price anyway? There are enough ports of the game which modern controls, play these instead.
Brutal Doom 64 gives Doom 64 the Brutal Doom treatment. Also done by BD's SgtMarkIV.
It revitalises the original game and even comes with a tactical mode where the modern shooter mode is both hard and sets an actual sense of horror. Great stuff.
That article is full of rumors and more or less is a "well here's what I've heard" story. This article explains it with a little more accuracy I think since it involves part of an actual interview: http://www.gamespot.com/articles/id-softwares-first-doom-4-project-didnt-have-the-passion-and-soul/1100-6412510/
And in Classic RBDoom 3 BFG you can change the flashlight to the original if you use
flashlight_old
http://www.gamefaqs.com/xbox360/971665-doom-ii/faqs
That's the GameFAQ's placeholder page for it. I'm fairly sure the secret exit is in Map04.
The expansion as a whole is very well built and enjoyable - if you like the concept of older games brought back to life with a new storyline, be sure to check out the Lost Mission expansion appearing on the Doom 3 BFG Edition disc. Another great way to waste an hour ot two!
Well that's just one track, and is usually referred to as Aphex Twin's Equation. Now, imagine even trying to start a conversation about SHXCXCHCXSH or any of their releases. Highly recommend BTW.
What did it do exactly?
You could probably get something similar with Screen Launcher which lets you run any command as a screensaver. Just get it to run your favourite port, maybe with a demo or something.

This was done in Skulltag (Now Zandronum), get it here: https://zandronum.com/ (you need doom 2)
As per the readme, you specifically need a beta build of Zandronum 3.0.
See "Development Builds".
You can then just load everything in order as you normally would.
You can use Zandronum, or Doomseker if you want to play online :)
https://zandronum.com/download https://zandronum.com/forum/showthread.php?tid=2972 Zandronum + Doomseeker
and yes, compiling ZDoom and GZDoom in linux is a litttle pain in the ass, i don't even remember which libraries I needed xD
Good luck!
The official Doom twitter is saying they're aware of the problem on PS4 and that people seem to be having more luck getting in by signing up to the alpha again.
The signup being here.
I once had 2 GPUs break because of a faulty RAM module. I recommend checking the memory, VRAM, CPU cache, hard drive and any other storage in your PC for faults. You can use the Ultimate Boot CD, which includes different utilities for all of this and does not require any installation.
Coolsoft VirtualMIDISynth http://coolsoft.altervista.org/en/virtualmidisynth
It is a software synthesizer that have a highly configurable settings, and simple multiple soundfont select so you can swap soundfonts or mix them. Just install, configure, then in Zananalingalingodronum sound settings select midi devices > Coolsoft virtualmidisynth.
Anyway, can I have that soundfont too :)
https://gofile.io/?id=H1C8Aw download that, put it in your base folder. Then, drag the file called "gameresources.index" over DOOMExtract.exe. Then run "install_mods.bat" Once that's done, download https://gofile.io/?id=8ySYTa
Now, open up that, folder go to generated/decls/entitydef/player/mp and delete demonplayer_harvester, demonplayer_mancubus, demonplayer_revenant, demonplayer_baron.
Then, go into your base folder, you should have a folder called "mods" after running install mods. Replace that mods folder with the one you just downloaded BUT ONLY after you delete every demonplayer except for the prowler. Then, run install_mods again. Open up your game once it's done, start up a private match and get a demon rune. It should work if you did all those steps.
I've used this site in the past, and it seems like one of the better places to look for graphics wads. When using something like this, it's often better to stick to those textures rather than try to merge them with the original Doom ones. Some texture packs have a style that's different enough to look odd next to the default images.
I've tended towards using the original stock textures, but creating bespoke edits to go alongside any detail work that I'm building. Using the philosophy I mentioned in my previous comment about using pre-existing lines within the textures, you can start to think the other way around and modify the default textures to fit the lines of your geometry. It pays to understand the way that the TEXTURES lump works, so that you can quickly throw together a few lines of text to create, for example, a switch texture against a wall that doesn't already have one. You can do this with patches, which saves you having to include graphics in your WAD or PK3 that people already own copies of.
As for objects, I'm not sure of any collections like the texture WADs that I linked. Instead, looking for sprite rips from other games may well be the way to go. You can lift graphics directly from Heretic, Hexen and Strife pretty easily as you probably only need to worry about the palette (and even that's not really a concern in modern engines), but it shouldn't be too difficult to work graphics from other games (such as Dark Forces, Rise of the Triad and the Build Engine games) into a WAD either.
Don't forget OpenGameArt.org. The images here often require a bit more work to get into a state that looks good inside Doom, but they're a much less legally questionable alternative.
I plan to release it very soon. Version 1.0 is coming soon. The last thing I need to do is setup difficulty support for this fight.
I have been posting videos on my YouTube showing progress and footage of the level. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCjENwU44VJOGtfv1RK2DpNg
I have an older version of the level up on Steemit but I recommend waiting to play the final version as the level has come a long way since then. For example the battle in this video doesn't even exist in beta 2.
I am working on something right now that fully supports all new features of GZDoom and utilizes Balance based on Brutal Doom 19. Its not a remake but an entirely new level.
judging by the screenshots it looks to be a sorta topdown looter-shooter...
it's listed as having in-game purchases, I can't play it so I don't have a way to see if it is p2w or not
Or do, if you're on xbox or ps4 or don't mind a boxed PC version. Amazon has it for $40 right now. I really doubt steam is going to beat that next week.
I got a really sweet one from Amazon a while back. Let me get you the link
Trends International Doom Cyber Demon Wall Poster 22.375" x 34" https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01EIRY5O2/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_lwYIBbX7TKJ19
There are good emulators but i really recomend these 2:
*J2ME Loader This is my favorite since it has great support for many java games and also 3D ones
*Retro2ME Emulator This is a nice alternative, like a 2nd choice emulator but still does the job very good
The rest would be downloading the games by googling em, download the game (either if it comes in JAD or JAR format), and install them from the emulator.
I would also highly recomend its sequel Doom 2 RPG and its counterpart Wolfenstein 3D, both implemented cutscenes wich looked sick af!

Not free, but worth the money. Purchase history says it was $2.50, dunno if that's still accurate though.
> * GZDoom (v1.9.1 & v3.2x & dev)
* Chocolate Doom
* PrBoom+
* RetroDoom

Remember the cover for original Shadow Warrior? I was just a wee lad when I first laid eyes on it, and I knew it was the game for me. I wouldn't be mad if the new DooM ripped this design off, and had the Guy holding the head of a Baron
http://www.mobygames.com/images/covers/l/88240-shadow-warrior-dos-front-cover.jpg
As someone who plays exclusively with the BFG edition wads, you can use this mod with basically anything else to uncensor the games and it works out great! Haven't run into any issues.
https://www.moddb.com/mods/doom-3-bfg-hi-def/addons/uncensored-doom-1-2-wads
Why would you ask SgtMark? He didn't make the sprite or Black Edition. You should ask the authors of Black Edition where the sprite is from to credit the right person.
Also check out this mod: https://www.moddb.com/mods/brutal-doom/addons/some-skins-for-rc2
It has several skins to chose from, maybe the black edition rifle is part of that. It at least has a similar nice looking rifle skin which is the rifle you see in Project Brutality.
I can't seem to find anything that does that but I did find another version of the Quiet Marines mod here. The description says it eliminates the start up sound of the marines unlike the other mod but also make a few other changes.
Here is the latest update to a WAD I've been working on, just one large map so far, but a shit load of new enemies, marines, weapons, and ways to go. I suggest running it on gzDoom with UDV & DHTP, if your system can handle HD textures and HUD. Ultra-Violence recommended.
Project Brutality 2.01 - DooM 420: Natural Selection - Alpha 3 01-24-2016
~215MBs
*BTW, this map was originally a greatly expanded remake of UAC Labs.
Why yes there is. There's a Ketchup version specifically for Smooth Doom, as well as the new Bolognese gore mod which works with most gameplay and monster mods.
Here is a starter pack I put together that combines the latest Brutal Doom with FreeDoom & GZDoom:
Brutal FreeDOOM
~163.76 MBs
I agree with these, the more customization the better.
Also, as a "fix" for intro volume, from PCGaming :
+com_skipIntroVideo 1
in the launch options does get rid of intro movies.
You could check out Doomzone. Probably not what you're looking for, but it's similar to your description.
84 weapons, 13 player classes including Samurai.
https://www.moddb.com/mods/doomzone

No Mario, Duke etc but considering the potential copyright issues and today's companies overall butthurtedness, I don't think you'll find something like that anymore. Yay, progress...
I intend to play this one someday:
A buddy of mine was having trouble with DOOM borderless windowed specifically - all other games are fine. Dunno if DOOM does something weird with the screen space or not. In any case, I recommend trying out this program: http://westechsolutions.net/sites/WindowedBorderlessGaming/
It basically just scales up a window to take up the whole screen, effectively making anything fullscreen borderless. Worth a shot!
And yeah the delay sometimes catches at the exact right moment to be distracting. I liken it to catching a watch hand moving at the exact right moment so it seems like it takes longer than normal. I'm pretty much at the limit of the Hue hardware I think, but there are a few more tricks to try as far as responsiveness/performance.
Are you using this flashlight mod? I recommend using this one it uses a real spot light so the light actually shines from your body instead of multiple light sources ahead of you. Only works in GZDoom though.
Well, open this in Slade, take a look at the random script. https://www.moddb.com/games/doom-ii/addons/synthdoom-mk2-music-randomizer-for-doom-2
All you have to do is replace the music files.
name them the same,
SONG001
SONG002
SONG003 .....
Mention whoever made the script and done. Doom mods share code and sprites all the time.
> "Don't Play With Hell" , again, with PB or BD.
Couldn't get this to stop crashing on MAP02 when I tried back in the day, is it fixed now?
DPWH: Black Edition worked fine though, and it was a fantastic experience.
Edit: Also check out the author's YouTube channel if you want to get totally fucking stoked for what this crazy bastard is going to make the GZ/QZDoom engine do next. Jesus.
https://www.moddb.com/games/doom/addons/doom-lowpoly-mod-v2
It in general is a great graphical visual overhaul, even adding some modern effects but if you don't have the computer for it or if you just want the models you can easily go through and find the things within the pack.
I've been enjoying the Sikkmod 1.2 for DOOM 3 recently. It allows you to change some annoying stuff like the ridiculous fall damage in D3. It has alternate HUDs and vision modes, it might have a player speed setting as well, not on my main system so I cannot double check just yet.
Play online with Zandronum via doomseeker (online search engine privided).
Most games are sofisticated/advanced wads with brutal doom so it's not really the same feel but there is some fun to be had.
For a more "vanilla" feel there is Odamex but there isn't always people playing. It's more of an event/schedule community.
I would suggest ditching the dosbox and using Zandronum or GzDoom or any of the billion other modernized engines for older doom games.
Personally, I've only used zandronum since it "just works" for me. Basically, copy your doom2 wads into zandronum folder, then just drag & drop your custom wad over zandronum.exe -> done. edit: or, follow their wiki: http://wiki.zandronum.com/Zandronum_and_IWAD_Files
Also, you get actual 3d acceleration, higher resolutions and mouselook etc :)
Stop asking for keys, you guys.
It's literally as simple as downloading the DE ovpn file from Mr-R00T's post, following this guide to the letter: http://www.vpngate.net/en/howto_openvpn.aspx and you're through.
The key goes to the "customer" (ergo, the person who signs up on their site) on the 2nd of April so asking for them now won't do any good.
The DOOM strategy guide book seems to be your best bet. Here's an Amazon link that has some example images. Otherwise, there's no website with this sort of information as far as I'm aware.
For cases you really can't go wrong with Cooler Master since the cases look nice and in the current summer heat, it didn't cause any issues while I was playing Metro Exodus thanks to the extra fans and it's really silent.
For RAM, Corsair but you have to check what the pricings' like. In regards to Power Supply, Corsair is solid, nearly 5 years using it and no problems so far.
CPU depends on what kind of price difference you're getting but my Ryzen 1600 runs solid and it performs well in games including intensive ones like Total War Warhammer 2 and Arma 3. But again an Intel 8700K will beat the Ryzen in some cases but they're mostly tied.
For Motherboards, MSI makes some pretty good ones but just make sure that they support dual channel ram(Ryzen works well here) if you want 16 gigs of ram.
In storage, I can't emphasize how much you need an SSD in which I'd recommend a Samsung Pro series. Get a cheaper SSD for additional storage or use your old HDD.
GPUs are kind of lucky draw since thanks to cryptocurrency, the base price of some gpus esp. the RX 580 are obscenely expensive. I built my rig during the height of that Try amazon to see if you can get a good deal or primeabgb.com(they do shipping). ASUS have worked great for me over the years.
As for a monitor, I got this one - https://www.amazon.in/gp/product/B016AWBK00/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o08_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Plus there's a nice movie mode where it makes the colors
Your electricity bill will maybe fall 300-500 bucks extra if you play a minimum of six hours a day with demanding games. Just keep in mind that AMD cards are more power hungry.
Gaming laptops are a waste since it'll only make you play for a couple of years until you realize you can't swap out the gpu unlike a desktop.
Yes that is the app (link just in case)
You do need to buy the doom files from the PC version (Steam, GOG). I say it's well worth buying both the app and the game because you can also use the endless number of maps and mods with Delta.
You're probably using an old version of my app D-Touch, or a fork of it. If so, you need to move your wad files up a level so they are in 'FULL'.
I have done a big update and the new app is: Delta Touch https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.opentouchgaming.deltatouch&hl=en
I am spending a huge amount of time updating, fixing and adding features so consider it if you want to support Doom on Android
The day may come, when he will try it out. And stuff like BD, EDay and other fancy mods. Or more oldschool stuff. Or something completely different like Hunters Moon or Doom Slayer Chronicles.
And if this day may come ... it will blew his mind even more when he remembers, that he didn't wanted to test it our.
Also: Use DML - Doom Mod Loader for odins sake!
Well, I just downloaded both the mod and the version of GZDooM linked on the mod page (64Bit version) and it works fine for me so I am not sure what is going on for you.
https://www.moddb.com/mods/d4d-doom4-for-doom/downloads/d4d-v203
That is the mod page I used. I downloaded the mod and in the description section the 64Bit version of GZDooM as well. Then moved both files into a new folder and extracted them, added a copy of DOOM2.WAD to the folder and that is it. It works as expected.
Yeah, the one that I used to use frequently was RBDoom3BFG link here: https://github.com/RobertBeckebans/RBDOOM-3-BFG/releases
but this hasnt had a official release since 2016 it has activity but no new updates some Doom 3 BFG "HD" mods use some more recent version they built themselves from git.. but meh it has alot of issues.
The one I use now is Classic RBDoom 3 BFG which aims to add more features back in to Doom 3 and enhance the classic doom support: https://www.moddb.com/mods/classic-rbdoom-3-bfg-edition turning it into somekind of ultimate doom playing system as far as I am concerned. but there are just some flaws of BFG that cannot be overcome as far as I am concerned.
>dhewm3
No idea, not used source ports. The last time I did anything D3 wise was for Classic Doom 3 - https://www.moddb.com/mods/classic-doom-3/
There is a custom DLL so it won't work with dhewm3 - you can just edit the cfg file and use a custom res to fit your monitor for widescreen.
File association is not controlled by any .ini files, but rather system registry (I assume you're using Windows). The easiest way to change it should be:
[Right click] -> Properties -> Choose a default program
or
[Right click] -> Open with -> Choose a default program (may not be visible)
(I don't have an English system right now, the exact wording may be a little different). You can also change this in Control Panel, but the exact location of the setting will likely differ between different Windows versions.
EDIT: You know what, here's a more detailed description: link
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.bethsoft.ubu&hl=en&gl=nz last update was on May 26.
The game seems mostly forgotten considering its reception along the few people that tried it.
I even recall someone make a long review pointing out some decisions they made related to a grind focus on the game.
You can only get scammed by getting an invalud or already used code. Clearly the user has already activated the game and is only experiencing issues with installing the game, which is normal I'd say, on a shitty launcher like Bethesda.net.
Don't buy from keyshops, only trustable 3rd party sites. I recommend using gg.deals and disabling keyshops for a scam free 3rd party buying experience
If anyone cares: That's the UK (European) version. The NA one has the normal Doom cover with black and gray only.
http://www.mobygames.com/images/covers/l/287250-the-ultimate-doom-windows-front-cover.jpg
You have a solid soundtrack in this wad: https://www.moddb.com/mods/brutal-doom/downloads/doom-metal-soundtrack-mod-volume-4
Alternatively, Sonic Clang has some good songs
This little addon I used before RC9 was released (I'm hoping it's updated to match that). It edits the regular weapon sprites to have Doomguy's classic brown gloves in place of the fingerless black gloves. In my opinion, it makes him seem less of a douche.
It's leaning toward absurd comedy in its intermission story, but Going Down is also a pretty enjoyable map pack. It tasks you with cleaning out a UAC office building in the middle of downtown during an invasion, one floor at a time.
Also, if you are into an emphasis for story and a believeable atmosphere, I recommend checking out Don't play with Hell, too. It's essentially standalone GZDoom-based single player mod, leaning toward Doom 3 aesthetics and Half-Life-style storytelling. Note that Brutal Doom Black Edition is merged into it though (not sure if this is a pro or con for you).
you could try doom4doom and see if the mods are compatible with each other. you know how the load order works? just try different variations and see if one works.
Doom 3 Phobos is a spectacular mod who adds a new story, maps and enemies to Doom 3. the story is located between the original campaign and D3 ROE.
You probably used the Zandronum source port with the Doomseeker server browser. Download them here: https://zandronum.com/download
If you want to host your own server, you need to open the port 10666 so the server shows up in the browser for your friends
Would you mind sharing your build specs and version of Linux?
EDIT: https://www.archlinux.org/packages/extra/x86_64/nvidia/
So yeah, looks like the Arch Repos are a couple versions behind based on the version numbers on Nvidia's site. TBH wasn't totally expecting it to work right away, but I'll still try regardless. This is why I still have my Windows SSD though :)
Sometimes its easiest to check/edit your controls from the gzdoom ini file, I'll post mine:
It's called BRUTAL DOOM. And it's this one: https://www.moddb.com/mods/brutal-doom/downloads/brutal-doom-v20-legacy-edition
Bury my heart knee deep. This is a metroidvania inspired map with a lot of backtracking. It's not really confusing switch hunting if you memorize the environment and its hints properly. So if you like Metroidvanias, this is a pretty good take on bringing it to Doom.
And speaking of Metroid, here is a Metroid total conversion mod, in case you first mod wasn't Metroid enough.
The controls can be re-configured in order to not have any confusion. As for the environment, yes it can be tricky and that is why I remake E1M1 to 2D. You can download it from here: https://www.moddb.com/mods/classic-rbdoom-3-bfg-edition/addons/2d-doom-2d-e1m1 (it also includes pre-configured files for camera and controls )
Interesting looking mods you've got at play here.
May I ask, is it just https://www.moddb.com/mods/complex-doom/downloads/complex-doom-clusterfuck That is being run with it, or is there another mod layered over (LCA) to get all the weapon and enemy variations?
There's no way to automatically handle it as both mods are meant to be played standalone and thus make significant changes to the base monsters and weapons, often in ways that interact at very deep levels. You'd either have to learn DECORATE/ACS/ZScript and dig into the code for both mods, or find someone who's already made more "universal" versions. Also be aware that load order matters in what overrides what first, so use a launcher that lets you specify the order that the mods are loaded in.
For example, this apparently is just brutal monsters, so in theory it can be played with mods that only replace weapons. Not sure if it's updated to the latest brutal Doom though. https://www.moddb.com/addons/brutal-doom-monsters-only
You should ask the author of that youtube video how they did it, as they may have done some kind of custom work no one else knows about.
Hi everyone.
There's an interesting competition going right now with one of the Reddit Doom Mods.
Fagglet has kindly offered to clean the cum out my RealDoll for me. Fagglet will do this for 5 dollars.
Fagglet can't make doom maps, but it does want to contribute to the doom community so the fagglet has offered it's services as my realdoll cleaner. If anyone is interested in Fagglet's services, then I will rent the fagglet out to you. I expect a 50% cut. Fagglet will use either sponge or tongue to clean your ReallDoll. And if this fagglet doesn't do a good job then you have my permission to beat it into submission with a wet bath towel. You're welcome. Challenge Maps https://www.moddb.com/mods/exspiravit
Hi Doom Fans,
Sorry to post here but the Mods won't let me create a post. Orwellian as fuck.
You might be interested in a map competition I'm running. I have created a huge cyberpunk map for Doom 2 and I'm running a comp - first person to post a successful playthrough wins a cash prize (1000 AUD).

For people still interested by this kind of AI allies thing, i recently played the Brutal Doom64 campaign and it starts with an intro level that fits completely what i am seeking.
That (playable) intro level features an army of allied AI doomguys trying to assault a base that is filled with demon while you're in the middle of them and try to find the entrance to the actual doom64 first level.
I wish there was more campaigns based on a allied troopers system, as unfortunately while playing with brutal doom "summon ally" the AI actually try to stick with you as if in a doomguy squad, when playing in other mods (or vanilla) with the "summonfriend", the AI marine does not try to stick with you unfortunately.
