It would be pronounced "mo-eh-ru" in Japanese. "moeru" means "to burn" and it makes sense because its a gasoline station. Here is the thing you were speculating on.
Let's try this.
Here's a link to a spreadsheet if you want to add or be added by someone in /vita put your info in here.
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AkPWp8C7mmyUdGtLaWR1UF9NOUlaamFZZzZsbk9CTkE
Let me know if you have any issues with the link or document.
Edit:
Well we have some people changing other users information so for the time being I have made a Backup sheet. If your informaiton is on the backup sheet and incorrect send me a PM and I'll correct it for you. Otherwise keep adding to the Sheet1 page and I'll keep dumping it over to the protected list.
Happy gaming /Vita!
The Vita version will probably look better than the PS3 version. The reason for this is that they did not improve the textures of the HD version across the board--only some of them. Due to this, the smaller screen of the Vita will provide a better appearance as the low-res textures will be much smaller and not as obvious.
Here's a pretty good summation from somebody that played the Japanese version on Vita: http://www.gamespot.com/forums/games-discussion-1000000/final-fantasy-x-hd-remaster-vita-out-now-impressio-31005418/
I don't get the impression that most on this sub frequents r/vitahacks so I thought I post this here as well. The files are available for sale on Cults3D: https://cults3d.com/en/game/ergonomic-grip-for-ps-vita-v2-pch-1000. The old version is still avavible for free on Thingiverse: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2120609.
Well, their goal was a lot less than what the actually got. Original goal was $27k, they got funded for $645k. Chances are they were set to make a pretty small game, so a year was enough time. Then they got 23 times their goal.
In strech goals they added: NG+, two new areas, expanded cutscenes, two extra bosses, 'new enemies, more world to explore, more gear', OST by Disasterpeace(not really a thing that could delay), co-op campaign, competitive mode, extended intro cimematic, extra programmer(which would hopefully lessen the delay), extended lore and characters, PS4 and Vita ports, challenge mode, extra developer (lessen delay), new area, physical copy+manual, online challenge mode, expanded areas, expanded market (more loot, gear, modules), WiiU port.
That is A LOT of stuff they didn't originally plan for and sounds like it could definitely take a while, especially with a smaller team. Their website says 6 people are working on it. Even if it started out small, it got a lot bigger, and 6 people is not a lot in the scheme of things.
As long as it's good I have no problem with the delay. I just hope they didn't go crazy with features and spend too much as many kickstarters do.
FFXV Pocked Edition requires 2 GB of RAM and the Vita only has 512 MB. It can't run the game.
Tokyo Twilight Ghosthunters is already confirmed for English release next year, courtesy of Aksys.
I'd be super surprised if NISA didn't pick up DanganRonpa and XSEED didn't pick up Corpse Party, too.
there was a "PS Vita first edition bundle" which included a PS Vita 3G + WiFi model, 4GB memory card, Little Deviants and a limited edition case for $349.99. Also there was the 3G model for $300, and the WiFi-only for $250.
I want to play word Nazis too!
Oxford says it's only valid as an adjective: http://www.oxforddictionaries.com/us/definition/american_english/boughten
You've used it as a conjugation of the verb "to buy".
Either way, language evolves, what's "correct" is quite arbitrary and really comes down to collective acceptance of the rules, etc etc.
But yes, if I were proofreading your posts for you, I also would recommend "bought" in this construction and not "boughten".
EDIT: But I also agree there's no reason to insult one another. Pencils wouldn't need erasers if humans never made mistakes!
That is all I really use my vita for these days and Fallout 4 works flawlessly on the vita once you get used to the controls. I agree with the other comment about getting the L2 R2 grip. I got this one.
Not only does the grip make L2/R2 work for games that didn't adapt the button layout for remote play, but it makes the whole thing easier to hold.
I don't really understand the fuss about lack of games. I have more than I can play atm and in the coming 9 months we have Warrior's Lair, Soul Sacrifice, Ragnarok, AC: Liberation, Killzone, Tearaway, COD and more! And thanks to LBP there will from now on always be a endless supply of platforming/physics/puzzle games at hand. I expect that the future 3rd party support strongly depends on the sales this holiday season, so if I were you, I wouldn't spend so much time worrying and spend more time enjoying the games and spreading the word. Tons of people don't have a clue what a "vita" even is, that's the real problem right now.
I think /r/gaming doesn't have a very good handle on the games industry. After all, mobile gaming is absolutely dominated by Apple these days and I never see those games discussed.
75+ Metascore games don't make a system a must buy, 90+ games sometimes do. Where are the mobile 90+ games?
PS Vita has 1.
3DS has 5.
iOS has <strong>74</strong>.
Sure, those games aren't usually catered to the traditional hardcore gamer, but they're where developers think they can make money. As the Vita's install base continues to grow, there will be more and more of an incentive for more games to be released on it.
Rocketfish Vault Case. The thing is awesome. I no longer feel worried throwing my vita in my backpack, or anywhere else. Highly recommended.
No! It's $20 on Amazon! Hurry!!!!
Jokes aside, the PSN sale wasn't great, might as well save $10. You can get it for $20 here. Not sure when this sale ends, as cyber Monday is tomorrow.
Be gone with the power brick and get a USB instead. I haven't used my brick in ages, this works just a well. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07H2W7Y3P/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_SUv8DbA4Y1R69
(I charge via my Anker multiport USB)
Most of these are very common questions and answers can be found using the search bar, but because I have no life I am going to type out answers to a random person on the Internet.
1) Totally depends on your budget. If you have the money go for a new one, you can buy a Vita off of Amazon here. There are also other colors in the Japanese Imports. Don't worry all Vitas are region free, so if you buy a different color from Japan you can change the language.
Also there are 2 types of Vita's the 1000, and 2000, you can search the comparison videos on youtube. I would go with 2000 though.
2) Good price for a used Vita on Craigslist is probably $120 or below I would say. Make sure to tell the seller to give alot of pictures of the Vita under good lighting to look for scratches. I bought my Vita off of Craigslist from this mom lol, she sold it to me for $100 with 8gb, and it was in pristene condition. Of course there are other times such as when I bought a 1000 Vita off of Craigslist for $80 and received a pretty beaten up Vita. I later sold it to somone else for $80 though. Retail price for brand new is around $200.
3) No.
4) With solid connection remote play is really good. You might want to pick up the L2 and R2 grip, but those are kind of expensive.
IGN had an article about the vita version a couple of weeks back in which they took a look at a more recent build of the game which was more optimized in comparison to the GDC demo.
You should check it out, it also has gameplay of the game captured directly from the vita version so it might give you a bit of an idea about how it looks and runs.
http://www.ign.com/articles/2014/04/08/borderlands-2-on-vita-a-longer-more-detailed-look
I think every week is way too often. Looking at upcoming Vita games, things are going to be pretty dry for a while, and even during the better months, I don't really expect more than 3-4 really fun games to come out over the course of a month.
I think it would be much better off if it was once every 2 weeks, or maybe even once a month. That way, you don't get a ton of
Week 1: "Playing P4G! It's awesome!"
Week 2: "Still playing P4G! It's still awesome!"
Week 3: "Just finished P4G! It was awesome!"
Which I think would happen if you try to get people to just talk about whatever they're playing. I think limiting it to less often would also make the threads fantastic resources for anyone who wanted to go back and see if they missed any games.
Theres a big chance we are going to have a flash sale tomorrow, if not, next friday, so, you could wait to see if we get one tomorrow and look if they have something you are interested.
If theres no sale tomorrow, you can buy Persona 4 Golden from the PSN at 30 USD or physical from amazon at 20 USD, the game is totally worth any price, is a long game, my first run was like 70 hours, one of the best games I have ever played, just have in mind that is the most JRPG thing you will ever play, 75% of great dialogues and 25% dungeons with challenging boss fights.
This is probably the correct answer, OP. Got lots of neighbors? WiFi spectrum is probably crowded. If you have an android device, use this app to find a better channel for your router.
Text dump from gamefaqs:

Above link also has a list just as long of features not mentioned from the notes that were in the 1.03/1.05 patch this corresponds to in other regions. Those may or may not be included as well.
Somebody has been working on a great Google Doc guide over at GameFAQs. Check out his thread here: http://www.gamefaqs.com/boards/688105-demon-gaze/69082002?page=1
That guide includes a rundown of what the stats do, as well as his recommendations for Class/Race pairings and stat focus for gearing each class.
That's actually the highest it's been recently. It was hovering around at like 13-15 for a while.
Oh yeah. And why are you linking a random youtube video?
It's a visual novel game with investigation and trial aspects somewhat like Phoenix wright, but in real time. The atmosphere is like virtues last reward and 999
'Ultimate students' (people notorious for being a supermodel, popstar, otaku, delinquent etc etc) are trapped in a prestigious school. The only way to leave is to murder another student. After a murder, students investigate and then proceed to a trial. If the murderer is discovered post-trail, they die and everyone continues to live until the next murder where the process is repeated.
It's very anime like persona but not cheery and upbeat. You have free time where you spend time with students (optional) and get to know them personally. The person overseeing the school is a robot bear. The bear sets rules for living in the school. Break them and he will kill you. He see's it as a game for his enjoyment.
This sort of explains more:
http://www.gamefaqs.com/boards/722106-danganronpa-trigger-happy-havoc/68038678
Watch a let's play of the prologue and chapter 1 on YouTube, if you want.
You can import the Hong Kong version of Ragnarok which has english.
I also heard that you don't really need to know Japanese if you want to enjoy Gundam. Aside the fact that you don't understand the story but this isn't a story driven game. Menu translations are available already:
Ok, perhaps Badlands aren't 'wrong' but it's sure as shit deceptive.
Also, the retailers sold pre-orders for how long? 6 months plus advertising the game with the extras. Look at the biggest store of all;
Look here at the amazon page that is <strong>still up</strong>
If you order from Amazon Japan, it'll arrive in less than a week, and is currently about $180 WITH shipping. Ordering from Amazon Japan is about as easy as the US Amazon once you change the language to English using the globe towards the top right.
Planned or out (as far as I know):
Binding of Isaac: Rebirth is coming soon(ish hopefully)
Risk of Rain (was announced)
Rogue Legacy (is coming)
Don't Starve: Giant Edition (more of a randomized survival)
Spelunky (you already stated)
Nuclear Throne (thanks /u/bloodqc)
I will update on any others I can think of that are coming. But those are the ones I am most excited for, and definitely getting! :D
Ones I want to see on it:
Delver
FTL
Legend of Dungeon
Paranautical Activity
Teleglitch
Tower of Guns
Torchlight (would be way awesome and it's on the 360, so I don't see it being too difficult to port)
Legend of Grimrock
Cloudberry Kingdom
Sword of the Stars: The Pit
Delver's Drop
https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1055933980/the-hero-trap This looks fun
Attention everyone who came to this thread looking for psn names!
This is the google docs list that was populated the last time a thread like this appeared.
Glad I could help. Please note also that there is a submission form link at the top, and it was vandalized at one point so if there's a name that seems kind of odd chances are some asshole changed it.
Lots of them. haha
IGN for one gets it wrong: http://www.ign.com/wikis/shin-megami-tensei-persona-4-golden/Quest_34:_Acquire_Hard_Boots
And this Playstation Trophies guide: http://www.playstationtrophies.org/game/persona-4-golden-en/guide/
This project has failed once before but considering they're clearly still updating it and have lowered their funding target, my hopes go out to them this time. Now that they've added Vita support, they get my backing.
It's a turn based strategy game.
And a really good one at that.
I used KADFC's walkthrough on gamefaqs. Ignore his constant fishing and bug catching, and his grinds for quests and such (except the book ones, obviously). Also, don't fear becoming behind a few days for some links, I ended up constantly returning home and sleeping for like 2 or 3 weeks in January/February.
Linky: http://www.gamefaqs.com/vita/641695-persona-4-golden/faqs/65282
There was an IGN User Blog a while back that had some good points on why this might be. Points one and two are perhaps the best reasons why this probably is.
It's frustrating because they're excuse has been that the developers have to patch the games to support this, but Sony themselves puts out a lot of the good games, and haven't patched anything themselves. Not exactly a feature I see coming to fruition.
Edit: User Blog, not Article
Mitch Dyer gave Double Dragon for the PSN a 3/10 because it was hard. I'm not saying CoD will be good (I think it will probably be terrible), I just wanted to share that.
If you're serious about learning, I recommend these resources:
Both of these resources are from the same person and are specifically designed for self-learners. It's not free, but might be a great choice depending on the type of learner you are. You can try out the introductory chapters of textfugu for free to see if it might be something you're interested in.
FYI, you can use an extension/site like camelcamelcamel to get a price history of Amazon products. You can even have them email you when it hits a certain price point.
http://camelcamelcamel.com/16GB-PlayStation-Vita-Memory-Card/product/B006JKASAC
It is available for PS4 as a remaster. Here is a link to the amazon page for you. https://www.amazon.com/Valkyria-Chronicles-Remastered-Launch-PlayStation-Standard/dp/B01B61X1UC/ref=sr_1_1?s=videogames&ie=UTF8&qid=1470163569&sr=1-1&keywords=valkyria+chronicles+remastered
You can still buy them new in the States on Amazon.
PlayStation TV https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00KVMHSUM/ref=cm_sw_r_other_apa_M-SMAbR67DPF1
It would seem that Amazon Japan would have it available as well.
A little below the banner on this sub (where it says /r/vita) there is a link that compiles game recommendations written by /r/vita users. I think Dragon's Crown would be up your alley (side scrolling beat em up with tons of loot, a level cap of 255, unlocksble skills, 6 wildly different characters, and awesome co-op). There are also many "Best Games on Vita" lists on the web for you to look into (here's one list in particular I mostly agree with to get you started).
I agree that the Vita segment was extremely lacking. The new content they showed were basically remakes or ports such as GoW and The Walking Dead. Killzone, Tearaway and FFX:HD is already old news. Sure there's PS4 interaction but those that only own the Vita don't really have much to look forward to. Sales were pretty bad for the first year for the Vita and IMO I don't think this revitalized the Vita much. I mean, those that don't own one won't just get one for PS4. Nothing huge is coming exclusively for Vita either (that has a definite US release date [I'm looking at you PSO2, God Eater 2]).
Officially, No
Unofficially, you would need a PS3 and the PS3 version of the game. You can use a Borderlands 2 save editor to convert a PC save to a PS3 save and then copy it to the PS3 on a flash drive. Then on the PS3 you would use the cross-save feature in the game's main menu to save it to the cloud where you would then download it from the main menu on the Vita version.
Here is a good place to start: http://www.gamefaqs.com/boards/638785-borderlands-2/66141588
I don't own a Wii anymore and have almost no interest in the Wii U but I still try to call shit straight. Mario Galaxy 1 and 2 are the two best games of this generation, in my opinion. And two of the best received games critically of all-time (that's just a fact). I have no idea what what you're talking about (assuming they are the games you're referring to).
"I’ve also learned that North American copies of Black Ops Declassified will include a bonus game download — Call of Duty: Roads to Victory, which was previously only available for the PSP."
http://www.metacritic.com/game/psp/call-of-duty-roads-to-victory
> So the fact that there are algorithms that give you a moderate to high chance of success it is "poorly made"?
Actually, yes. The whole point of game design is to prevent easily discovered tactics that can 'break' a game. On my first play through 2048 I wasn't even paying attention and did decently well which is a sign that the game isn't balanced or tested.
While I don't really want to get into the whole clone thing, it's obvious there was a lot more though put into Threes as evidenced in the design discussion that were posted that took place over a span of months.
It's clear that the 2048 was made by somebody who enjoyed threes/1024 and had coding skill but didn't actually understand the intricacies of the original's design, or possibly game design in general. I would be surprised if the creator spent any time play testing the game with others the way Threes was.
Yeah I agree that it still is pretty lame. But at least its the lowest it has ever been according to Camel Camel Camel.
http://camelcamelcamel.com/32GB-PlayStation-Vita-Memory-Card/product/B006JKASCK
Just wanted to mention, if you're into buying physical, it's $21.29 at Amazon right now.
You can actually still buy a digital code for Salt & Sanctuary on Amazon for $10.79 right now. I'd snatch it up quick if I were you because I'm sure the sale was supposed to have ended the same time it did on PSN.
It's coming to Japan on 16th November 2017.
Look how nice the PHYSICAL cases are! You can also order it from Amazon Japan.
Not quite as pumped, but I'll grab it for sure. The PC version is part of the current humble bundle though for the beginning tier if anyone wants to pick it up for PC as well.
If you plan on taking your vita to work/school or just want too travel I suggest the vita vault.
It ain't gonna break in that without you really trying to.
Go to Target, or another store you may know of that does price matching.
Tell them that Best Buy has one for $29.99.
Save $30 plus tax.
Worked like a charm for me. :)
http://www.metacritic.com/browse/games/release-date/available/vita/metascore?view=condensed
Most of us would just check out metacritic, look at the games from the top that interest you, and check out some video reviews from each of them. I'd say anything in the top 20 are outstanding games. I own every one of them, except the fighters. And there are dozens of fantastic games below that.
Here is a list of PSX classics that are available on Vita.
For PS2 games, generally the only ones available on Vita are HD re-releases -- so things like the Metal Gear Solid HD collection, the upcoming FFX remake, the Persona 4 remake, etc.
Important note: most but not all PSP titles (which are often ports of PS2 games) are available to play on Vita as well.
Well, first check out the Metacritic page to see if there are any games that interest you. Also remember that you can play PS1 classics and most PSP games (you have to buy them digitally though). You can use the second analogue stick in PSP games too.(which improves some games a lot).
If you feel that there's enough games that interest you at the moment, then yes, it's probably worth it, but if not, you should hold out until next Christmas.
Do not date every girl....makes shit akward, Do Adachi's and Marie's social link above all else you will not complete the game in one playthrough and fuse as much as possible
I've been following this trying to 100% social links on PT1 and I fucked up and raged quitted due to the person not calling on summer festival because they are 1 higher so all I have calling is Chie and Rise. Be very very very very careful when time managing otherwise you will end up like me with about 50 hours in and have to restart from earliest save
http://www.gamefaqs.com/vita/641695-persona-4-golden/faqs/64630
It's super easy to open up and repair. Just use this and be super careful. Learning to repair electronics yourself is pretty darn useful skill, and replacement batteries only run around $25
It was actually on sale on jet.com with a $25 promo code a few days ago. Bought it for about $41-42.
Not sure if it'll be back up again, but it did restock once already...
[edit] If it's up again, you can use the code JETCOMSAVE2 ($25 off, not sure if still active), or NEWTOJET ($20 off). You have to be a new user.
Sure, add this list of games to this list of games to get the whole list.
Also, PSX capability isn't on the Vita yet. Yet.
EDIT: Just re-read OP's post. Some of the games in that first list aren't available on Vita's PSN store yet, though they seem to be adding them slowly.
I'm having a difficult time finding the post now, but one of the devs recently commented on the DD boards saying the port is still in progress, but has been pushed out to August 2016.
The delay is partly so the port can be bundled with new content updates for the game.
EDIT: Found the post: http://www.darkestdungeon.com/topic/linux-release-town-events-update-playstation-and-more/
>We have previously announced Late Spring/Early Summer as a target for PS4 and Vita release. With the adjustment of schedules and matching up with potential future events we are now targeting late July or August. We want to make sure that all of the Town Event contents we are working on now are solid for inclusion into the console release, as well as making sure it runs like butter and plays well with a controller. Adjusting controls, in particular, is not a quick process. We have a level of quality that we want to ensure in all of our releases and we would rather take some extra time to make it right, rather than rush it out the door. The awesome and talented Sickhead Games has been helping us with the porting.
Please, do yourself a favor and do not look into a single thing about this game. Just play it (that is, if you do not mind nudity). All you need to know is that it's on PC, it has nudity, and that it will send you on a trip.
I've been watching it for a while on amazon and it seems to float between $115-130 usually. Half the time shipping from Japan. According to camelcamelcamel it was $100 http://camelcamelcamel.com/PlayStation-Vita-Memory-Card-64GB-PCH-Z641J/product/B00F27JGVA but as you can tell it's still a low price at $108.
You may be able to get it from Japan on ebay for $90-100 but then you have the long wait and you can't return it easily if there's an issue.
Sony also said recently they have no plans to lower the prices and had no comment on a 64gb US release. Suffice to say might as well take the plunge. Especially when the 32gb is $80-90.
Hope this helps.
Cowboom has Vitas around $90 pretty often and $120 most of the time. That's where I bought mine and it was near perfect condition. It was only missing the AR cards and the boxed was a little ripped.
Just noticed they don't have any of the original models. I'm not sure if they sold out or if they no longer stock them. But it looks like the slim was $95 near Black Friday. I would wait for another sale rather than going with woot. I've read mixed reviews about them. Cowboom should be fine as long as you get the ones with most of the stuff included.
I use a carbon fiber skin for my PlayStation Vita combined with a tempered glass screen protector.
Don't replace the whole stick/open up your vita, just get some of these stick grips
https://www.amazon.com/-/de/dp/B01C6MXIU8/
I have them myself, and not only will they cover up the broken rubber, they also make the vita's sticks a lot nicer to use because they're a little higher up, giving more control.
I have one from Hori (linked below). The Blue one is $5 cheaper on Amazon as well. It's the thinnest hard case I've had for the Vita. It has curves so the analog sticks don't get squished but there are no extra pouches or slots to hold games. https://www.amazon.com/New-hard-pouch-PlayStationVita-BLACK/dp/B0166G4Z84/
I also got a Vita sock pouch with mine which is really thin of course, but I don't like it because it's not very protective and I felt like I damage the sticks every time I used to stick it in.
The Amazon preorder comes with it as well... Amazon
Right now this item can not be shipped outside Japan from Amazon.
Here is a link from Paly-asia, if you are interested
Anyone else who hasn't gotten it, World of Final Fantasy is 50% off MSRP on Amazon right now.
There's also the option of importing from Amazon Japan directly (Silver, Aqua Blue). You do pay import VAT directly, but Amazon will sustract the Japanese VAT first (8%), so the difference isn't that large. Shipping is relatively cheap and super fast (2~3 days to Germany). And Amazon has very good customer service usually.
I don't personally have an L2/R2 grip, but I have a Nyko power grip that's pretty bulky. I use a generic Amazon electronics case and it works pretty well (barely fits).
If you're only after the system itself + the bundled DQ builders game, it's $359 on Amazon (mint condition too). Looks like the one on your pic doesn't even have the fancy silver box.
They quietly discontinued the PS Vita outside Japan in 2016. You're going to have to import from Japan if you want a new one. Amazon Japan just recently got more stock of the black and aqua blue PS Vitas. https://www.amazon.co.jp/dp/B00F27JDTU
Might be able to get a Win 10 tablet that fits into one of these

Haha. Played it thru. Man, I used to make fun of the guards in MGS for not being able to see shit. When did they get 20/20 vision?
But I digress
If you see the gameplay trailer for 5, fast forward to about 25:00 and you get to see the the new reincarnated Motherbase. You get to run around it like a madman and fend off attacks. Check it out.
Logically you should purchase a physical copy of whichever game is the largest file size that you plan to buy. So really it depends on what games you want to get. Right now I do exactly what you described and have a physical copy of P4G, as it is appx. 3.6GB.
Here is a list with different vita game file sizes. However note that I've found that more than one game on this list is a little larger than they have listed it to be, however this list will give you a basic idea of game size.
I picked up this case on a whim a couple months after getting my Vita.
I really love it. The inside is rubber and it's moulded to the exact shape of your Vita (which means you can't use this case with any attachments like a faceplate or trigger grips), so you can pop your Vita in there and not worry about it moving around inside. The lid of the case keeps the Vita from popping out of the rubber and it also has a little screen protector flap and holds up to 3 games plus a memory card. It also latches closed so you won't open your bag to find your Vita magically laying out in the open.
The only downside is it's pretty hefty, but I carry it around in my backpack so that's not an issue for me.
Just a head's up, if you are talking about the Pre-order skin, you can buy one from Best Buy for around $10.50 with tax (US only).
It's not searchable via Best Buy. I purchased two last week. One store pick up and one shipped. Received the shipped one yesterday.
I'm not as experienced as some of the awesome Persona players in this subreddit, but I have at least gotten to an ending on one playthrough, and as someone who only went through one (so far, planning to go back after a few Platinums in other games) playthrough, treat your first playthrough as a warm-up. It's alright if you don't get all the social links, read all the books, and work all of the jobs. Persona 4 really wants to immerse YOU into the life of a High Schooler messing in some paranormal stuff, so do things how YOU would like to. I started on normal also, and while I did have moments where "oh crap, I need to grind out a few nights", imo it takes a lot of failure to end up stuck to the point where you HAVE to restart.
There are guides out there that get you everything that can be completed in the game in one run (especially for that pesky Platinum Trophy), and at the end of the day it is your playthrough so my experience wouldn't matter, but I'd suggest playing more as yourself and less as "the Perfect MC". If you do need a guide, this one is pretty good (once again, the P4G Gods here might have a better one).
at least they gave a (good) reason unlike a lot other projects that put the Vita goal at a very high Stretch Goal. Though I'm interested in why the Vita goal is $70 000 more than the 3DS one.
The majority of games on Vita are very very well done. It just depends on your preference. What genres do you like?
As the most generic recommendation I can make, check out Metacritic's top titles: http://www.metacritic.com/browse/games/score/metascore/all/vita?view=condensed&sort=desc
You mean the cradle?
Last I checked, it's $6.99 at BestBuy.
You might be interested in this game: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/297265509/koe-a-jrpg-with-japanese-at-the-core-of-gameplay but it won't be released until June next year
I've had my PSV since July 2012 and this is actually the first time that the screen annoys me to the point that I had to quit the game.
The Mura effect is very noticable and annoying in Lone Survivor (I wonder how Limbo looks) and the burn in and the vertical lines are very noticable in Proteus.
EDIT:
> For Vita, the price on performance was something we definitely wanted to hit, although we all agreed because we are PlayStation, people expect better graphics and prettier pictures, so we have all those things we wanted to achieve in terms of capabilities, but we capped our ambitions with a cost of goods target that we can profitably sell the hardware for $250.
> To answer your question, we set out a goal: Yes, we're going to hit the $250 price, and no, we don't want to sell the hardware with a deficit. That's a goal we set out to do and I'm very happy we are achieving that.]

The answer is the screen, the OLED panel used in the PSV is cheap, its not a high quality panel, its not even mid-end...
Just to add more variety, here is the Metacritic page. Also, here's Just Push Start's review.
Use the Microsoft Store app in Windows 10 - then search for the title.
Here's a list of all the animes available for FREE right now! There's a few!
The Groupon deal (if we're talking about the same one, in November of 2013) was actually 29.99. Definitely a hell of a good deal though. I have the link to it here.
Here is a pretty big collection of Vita wallpapers! There are some Uncharted, Super Stardust, Street Figther, and even some Mass Effect and other console game ones!
edit: wow! and people are uploading new ones too! So bookmark that page if you want to see some new ones posted!
Supposedly, the 275 titles they announced are only available on the PS Vita store, but if you have a PS3 you can download the PSP title to your PS3 and then just transfer it to your PS Vita. The video is below and he uses Metal Gear Solid Peacewalker as an example.
So it seems all PSP titles are playable on the Vita, but the Vita store isn't going to have them all up at launch....it is very strange.
There actually will be a hat! It still might not be worth it since you would be able to buy the horns off of someone cheaper (in metal, keys, etc). Mods would be one of the biggest reasons someone would buy it on PC instead.
If you make your own games for the Vita with the Playstation Mobile thing then you use the 'PSM Mobile Developer Assistant' to transfer your work from your computer to the Vita.

I've gone through so many cables and chargers or just cable or brick for my OLED. The only good one so far that hasn't died on me is this one on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00AG361X6/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1 A fellow Redditor shared that suggestion, and I am thankful. It's inexpensive and works like a charm. :) Edit: Also later had bought a 2nd one for my Vita portable battery.
Japan is ~98% Japanese, so it's not surprising there is no real market for import releases of Japanese games.
Being said that, there are a few import releases on Amazon Japan through third party sellers, though mostly from EU or NA (keyword is "輸入版").
Some PS4 import versions (e.g. this one) are even sold by Amazon themselves, so it can't be actually illegal.
Trails of Cold Steel II is $20 on amazon right now.
I picked up this trigger grip while I was in Japan and found it to be much better than the pdp grip.

Amazon Japan ships world wide so I think you should be able to order it from them.
