You could try Nai Sadak weekly market on Sunday. You may have to explore the market but would be fun if you read books.
Had purchased all of these from there. Got at good deal there. Though sometimes you may have to compromise on page quality.
Had purchased Zero to One in ₹80. White tiger approx ₹100 Great works of Franz Kafka in ₹130.
Or you may try bookstores which sell 2nd hand books. Some of bookshops are concentrated in Tilak Nagar market. There may be other places too in Delhi which I don't know.
Or you could also look on olx.
Or pdf could be great option after becoming habitual of it. I had read whole harry potter collection and 2 of hitchhiker's guide to galaxy books in pdf.
As long as you have a 1GB RAM and some 1GB free space these should work :D
Plague Inc This is one of my favorite games currently (free on Android). You have to infect the world with a virus and kill human population all while the governments are working to prevent them from spreading. It is a combination of all those viral diseases movies (World War Z, Contagion etc) Strategy matters.
Fallout Shelter : The world has been nearly destroyed by Nukes and you are assigned to create a shelter for the surviving humans. Build a thriving community and handle tasks and protect residents from dangers and mutants and Shit. Incredibly fun game I for one may have invested more than 150 hours into this game :D
I visited this ranch last month where this horse was kind enough to pose for the camera
Oh yess
I was reading this paper on the topic "cyborg beetles" and was like wtf this thing is really possible..
So searched the shit for about 2 weeks and then grabbed a cockroach (this experiment was a part of that paper.. search for backyard brains on YouTube, they explained this shit so good!).. used ice water as an anesthesia.. after that chip-chopped one leg.. used that diy amplifier (search how to make action potential amplifier) and a 3.5mm as input.. and then hooked the thing up to a speaker.. IT WORKED!
I can hear noise.. but whenever I used to blow or touch the hairs on leg.. the noise turned into a spike kind of noise (idk the word.. shite!)
So now to see that thing I used Arduino to plot and then the easy way.. used the output of that amplifier and made it go thru an another 3.5 (but with a mic now.. means 4 shells on the connector) and hooked up that too my phone.. and used this app to see that spike
Shit that thing made me happy af..
Now I'm currently reading more about human nervous system.. and will use those ECG electrodes after a week on me.. and my idea for now is to make my PC learn my different action potentials so that I can use those afterwards to make thing works just by simple movement.. (like if I close my eyes for more than 5 mins.. close the lights automatically! Or a more accurate step counter) and yeas ML will play a role here

>> “So many areas of our life, if it’s not moving forward, I think we have to confess to ourselves, that it’s because at some level we’re hiding.” — Seth Godin

In this episode, Seth Godin shares his personal story of launching his own business, explains what it takes to make a decision, stay persistent, and achieve your goals.
> Godin talks about the idea of remarkability that threads through his bestselling books Permission Marketing, Purple Cow and Linchpin. The latter shows that the key to standing out and being indispensable is overcoming the fears that hold most of us back.
> By the end of this episode, you’ll learn how to stop being afraid and make a decision, pick reasonable goals, and make things happen. Seth Godin will teach you how to start making progress in your work by overcoming the very human fear of putting things into the world.

Don't forget to download the app for your phone. Anytime you're stuck in a queue, it's quite useful for a quick practice session.
EDIT: Forgot to include this link www.ankiapp.com as they're lots of decks with word lists that include the most commonly used words in Hindi (top 400, 625, 1000 etc). According to the Fluent Forever technique, "learning the first thousand most frequent words in a language will enable you to read 70% of every text you’ll ever encounter".
That is a good question! As matter of policy, I do not do key word research and do not cater financial porn (best stocks, best funds etc). So such content will either take a long time to gain traction or it would need a push. My traffic does not match to many personal finance blogs. However for my niche, it is pretty decent.
My mentor and then co-author PV Subramanyam has a big role to play in promoting me. The way I see it, he had primed his readers on the basics for years before I came along. When he pointed his readers my way, they found a way to calculate and experiment with numbers. So there was a resonance of some sort. This gave the push. Google also plays a role. The way it ranks content rapdily changed after I started. From more links, it started tracking user engagement. Now (only now) about 45-50% daily traffic is from Google but it was always decent before that. I think it is only because of user engagement as I do not have many links. Also I tend to rank for long tail keywords. So increasing this number (how to choose a fund, how to calculate dividend ...) has increased traffic
Email traffic and direct traffic are also contributors. You can check the numbers here https://www.similarweb.com/website/freefincal.com
Nike had a buy one get one on a lot of things today, some people got a text about it so not everyone knew plus they didn't put any boards to advertise. So my girlfriend got the text and both of us bought the same shoe ( in different sizes obviously ;)). So coming to the point, my girlfriend had seen the shoes 3-4 months back when the guy at the store told her that these are from nike's latest collection and have all the BS technology this-that. The shoes are for 8,500, today when we went they told us about another shoe which was the best acc to them and is for 11k. This is how they fool us and some people do believe. I normally just pick whatever is for 3-4k and looks good, don't really care about the technology /features. Got these as i was getting a good deal. Coming to Amazon i just checked its price, they say the original price is 14k and they offering at a discounted price of 8,500, wtf. Everyone is trying to fool one another.
Btw for those interested these are the shoes, let me know how they look. Nike rn
Seriously, though. Amazon-Google rivalry meant that Amazon didn't sell chromecast for a long time, and Google still doesn't support their services on Amazon ones (I think they recently shut down YouTube on Amazon devices too).
I use the Microsoft Wireless Display Adapter because it works with all devices at all times.
I have only used Aware for mindfulness meditation till now and I am satisfied. They did a free giveaway sometime back where I picked it up, not sure how in-app purchases work with free version.

He is a psychologist who won the Nobel Prize in economics for helping to create the field of behavioral economics. He is a self-described “constant worrier.” And it’s fun, helpful, and more than a little unnerving to apply his insights into why we think and act the way we do in this moment of social and political tumult.

I respect your choice, but do ask yourself once that would you be able to find 2 hours a week for yourself?
>Can't I do it on my own till then?
You can try to talk to some counselors on the internet. Yourdost.com is one such website, 7cups.com is also great https://www.7cups.com/online-therapy/
there is book named models by mark mason, read that and not as a novel you finish in a sitting but as a guide where you make notes and such. It is about attracting women but the approach is how to make yourself more connecting person and not someone constantly seeking to impress others.
But in any way please don't think that you are better off without therapy without trying it for a couple of weeks. Another important thing is your will, do not say to yourself ever that you can't get rid of this, for therapy to work, first step would to have strong will which will keep you moving when things might not go as plan.
Last but not the least, talk to us here on LNT or r/indiaspeaks RDD, or PM me, do not feel that you are alone and would need to deal with it alone. Also tell someone you admire that he/she is a good human being, it helps both of you. Try to make it a habbit.

As far as android is concerned you can not de google it enough. One or the other google service will be there to track you. CopperHeadOS is the most security conscious OS that they have. Give it a shot and see if you like it.
Saar recommended ANY ANY ANY other reddit app over the official. ANY. You'll probs like these
Relay for reddit. I use this one. Minimal features, super clean design
Slide. Feature packed, though not a good "comment browser". Good for media and stuff
reddit is fun. Closest to desktop experience ever.
Sync. Heard its got good customisation and usability as well
BaconReader
Boost.
There's literally a fuckton
> that's your perception.
No, that is just basic behavioral psychology. People tend to put more weight on their negative experiences than positive ones. There's also different heuristics which will tend to affect people's judgement on their happiness, like the Peak End rule, and their "two selves". Read Daniel Kahneman's book, called Thinking, Fast and Slow.
Read Brave New World by Aldous Huxley this week. Was a good read, both similar and different in some ways to 1984. Now on to Catch-22.
In non-fiction, reading The Power of Habit by Charles Duhigg.
The last time I checked, you were using Relay For Reddit. You gotta SWIPE and touch to upvote/downvote. Kattappa I thought you were over BAMBOOZLING saar!
Also, if you wanna, Play store link: Relay for reddit
>would you recommend it to a non gamer ?

Personally, the 330 looks good, but its reviews on Flipkart aren't too great, see what the reviews are saying. You might want to add more RAM as well. Steam should have minimum requirements for PUBG. Check that out. Finally, some people don't like Lenovo after that (BIOS?) spam-thing. But I have had all my laptops from Lenovo and I can't complain.
Buy online from a trusted dealer if that saves you price. I like buying online better because I can see ratings of both product and seller.

>Not exactly a relationship, but I kinda bonded with this girl that I met at one of those 'dating' apps. This happened around a month ago. We had lots of common interests, used exchange like more than a 100 messages in a day. Then suddenly a week ago from today, she just stopped replying to me. We talked a bit on Instagram and on whatsapp, she hasn't blocked me from any of those places but isn't replying either. Not sure if I went wrong somewhere or she isn't available to talk at all
That sucks! There could be many reasons and what we think isn't usually the case. Just let it go and don't simp her and don't blame anyone including yourself, if she's interested she'll come back.

just gotta make some time to read it.
I would advice for VPN, but depends on which VPN you buy, any cheap ass VPN would mean you handing over your data to them instead of comcast.
If you ask me, I would suggest going for ProtonVPN.

I can't imagine savouring an insect-based buffet but many of my friends do like those. Cricket powder is for real, I am surprised you haven't heard of it. My mom always mixes it in the flour when she's making bread. It tastes delicious and is supposed to be very nutritious.

Nope, these ones
Saar VPN gets you anywhere. Though remember to use a good one. Pay the money for thr VPN if you can and wish to, but do not use the free shit. The trials of premium ones do good too. I use TunnelBear, for example.

Oh, good. -_-

Pfft... and then Magisk to hide the root...
> https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.afwsamples.testdpc&hl=enuse above if you want to do on a stockish rom.
This is actually the least of my problems. Google's handling of sync of anything which is not a Google account is completely broken. If I delete an event on PC, it won't go away. I need to open Outlook (the Office 365 paid software app), go to all folders, deleted, find the deleted event, delete it from there, so that it doesn't appear in my phone. Even in that case, a local cache doesn't get overwritten, and it appears eventually.
The only app which has its own Exchange is Outlook for Android. Literally the only issue with that app is that its widget is a bit meh and I prefer the Digical app because it's closer to Windows 10 (PC/Phone/Xbox whatever) app with more layout and easy navigation. But Digical uses Google Sync.
Once upon a time, K9 Mail used to do its own sync, but now it uses Google EAS. I think now only Aqua Mail (paid) and Samsung Mail do this. (Blue Mail claims to do so but sucks arse).
No.
Wese it should work if you've already connected your spotify account with your Last.fm account.
Anyway, if you're on Android better install this: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.peterjosling.scroball
>What? Android is not Samsung's.
Never said it is. But we are talking about Android's success and that has to be attributed to the OEMs. They are the ones who tried things both in software and hardware without native support. They made android interesting.
>I have come to realise PA and Lineage aren't for me.
And I use them the most, when that is not possible, closest to them. So I don't think I could be of much help. Maybe try miui 9 :P
>It is a 100% guaranteed product of non stock(+) ROMs which is not the case otherwise.
And yet AOSP roms are not that rage either.
>Doesn't Pixel allow you to assign commands to it? IIRC, HTC 11 allowed mapping to commands.
HTC does, pixel don't.
>Just that Samsung sent an update that specifically blocked remapping of the Bixby button is what is a bit irksome.
Because it was just an hack. Hacks uses loopholes which might be problematic later. Otoh, you can do remap it with adb.
>There's the ability to pin 3 different email accounts from the same app to the home screen and the app only shows up with that account.
You can do that on android too, natively in most of the heavily themed roms. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.afwsamples.testdpc&hl=en use above if you want to do on a stockish rom.

The dial is a little small and would look good on your wrist.
The metal bracelet is pretty large, even for my ^borderline overweight wrists. But you can get that fixed at a watch jeweler or a mall kiosk.
I personally don’t like the metal bracelet since it eats us my arm hair and hurts a lot. I’ll recommend a leather strap which’ll give it a great new look and would be quite comfrtable.
Unless, you’ve got smooth skin and prefer metal bracelets
> There is a course floating around somewhere which imparts information about subconscious human biases, logical thinking and how to filter out bullshit. Seems like a sorely needed thing these days.
Hahaha I've read the book. It's Thinking, Fast and Slow, and I fully recommend it. Much of the thinking process in subconscious, and it's really difficult to filter out these biases.
Read Brave New World by Aldous Huxley this week. Was a good read, both similar and different in some ways to 1984. Now on to Catch-22.
In non-fiction, reading The Power of Habit by Charles Duhigg.
Completed Thinking, Fast and Slow by Daniel Kahneman. Rating it 10/10, and a must read book. Thinking to pick up Think, and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill on audiobook. Would it be a good fit to listen instead of read?
For anybody else who want a google launcher kinda look without all the shit that nova includes, try this https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=is.shortcut&hl=en
very small ram usage and just the right amount of customization options. Plus the search option is really good even compared to the 3rd party add-ons that nova provides.
Lol how? It's sooo shitty bruh...
I was just looking around Play, and there always is a third-party alt app for most things. Try them, I think you'll like one better than the original one. Check this one out. Holy fuck this app is just 2MB...
