If you don't already have GeForce Experience that comes with a Nvidia GPU (or that thing that AMD has), yes - you'll have to download a programme. For absolute beginners, I would suggest Bandicam. It's simple, and by far the easiest for anyone to understand. However, it's a trial thingy and adds a watermark to the video. I would suggest OBS over it, if you're willing to figure out the settings and whatnot.
In my opinion - which is heavily biased, lol - Shadowplay that's offered by Nvidia is the best recording software that exists. It has an amazing codec that doesn't distort the video quality at all. You would need a Nvidia 600-series card, or newer to use it though.
OBS is here: https://obsproject.com/
Bandicam is here: https://www.bandicam.com/
After recording, all you would do is upload it to YouTube and then link your friend to it.
Edit: In regards to using a microphone, all three programmes I mentioned support that. You would need to look around in the settings for their individual hotkeys and stuff.
And there is good ol' Bandicam as well. The free version got a small "bandicam" watermark on top and can record 10 minutes per clip but recording attributes can be scaled neatly to balance quality with performance to what would suit your needs.

I believe most recording softwares can save data in a different drive than where it is installed.
According to the Bandicam website, you just need to change the Output folder to your SSD in General settings.
That sucks. I haven't really had a chance to play since the update came out. .. I read somewhere that you can use https://www.bandicam.com/ to cap frames no matter what but I've never used it and don't know for a fact if it works - just something to consider.
Bandicut - This program is essentially a super barebones video editor that is just about making cuts and joins. The selling point is that it doesn't do any transcoding at all, so video quality is maintained. Plus, it is super fast!
I use it to edit down my video game recordings to only include the best parts so I can quickly save space on my hard drive. Same goes for any video that is mostly fluff with one part that you want to keep.
I use Bandicam, I got tired of crazy things happening and having no record of it. Of course a watched pot never boils so this is about as good as I've found.
I have to run it constantly and then snip out any highlights if something happens. I can start/stop it with a key combo so I don't have to record loading screens.
This should answer all your questions: https://www.bandicam.com/support/tips/nvidia-nvenc/
NVENC (Nvidia Encoding) uses the Encoder of your GPU instead of CPU just like Shadowplay does. However Shadowplay doesn't support H.265 NVENC yet (only H.264) and it doesn't support >60 FPS.
May I kindly suggest https://www.bandicam.com/free-screen-recorder/
It is free and easy and then those that are trying to help can see your screen better.
Actually, it was pretty simple. Making wallpapers is quite easy once you start and get a hang of it. If you join the Wallpaper Engine Discord you can ask for help and people will gladly help you. I can't script and many people in the discord have helped me make scripts for my wallpaper engine wallpapers.
This one was one of the easier ones to do. All I did was recorded for 5 seconds using Bandicam, used ezgif to reverse it, and Bandicut cut the videos together with the original first and then reversed clip second.
The only reason it took so long is that 1: I forgot and 2: I was a little busy.

The hardest part about making Wallpapers on Wallpaper Engine is figuring out how to approach different problems. At first, I didn't know how to make a perfect looping video. I was making this wallpaper and I wanted it to loop. But I just didn't know-how. I didn't have any programs on my PC that could do it easily. and EZGIF only allows up to like 100MB or something like that so I decided to split the video into like 30 separate videos and join them together with Bandicut. If I had more money I could use video editing software but I have nothing so I always add a donation link in my wallpapers so if users want to pay me for my hard work they can.
If you want to make your own wallpapers I suggest starting with a still image of 1920x1080 at least. From there you can do different things and ultimately just mess around and do some experimenting. Have fun with it. I don't post wallpapers that I am not happy with. Maybe you will become like me and upload over 50 wallpapers.
Unfortunately, I only have a paid solution. It´s called Bandicam.
I needed software that could do scheduled recordings, as I could not take my laptop with me while working. With Bandicam I started zoom, joined the room, scheduled the recording and went to work.
I don't know if there are free solutions that have this feature.
Worked for me.
Sure thing. What do you need?
Software wise I can recommend DaVinci Resolve https://www.blackmagicdesign.com/at/products/davinciresolve/, which is a free, really powerful editing tool.
If you want a more simple software, I can recommend bandicut https://www.bandicam.com/bandicut-video-cutter/. It is pay ware, but it is really simple to use to just chop up a video. Not many other features though, and it uses outdated video containers which and might cause compatibility problems with DaVinci Resolve.
Both have pretty good ressources and tutorials to help you learn them.

Not sure about gifs, but Bandicut can batch generate multiple webms/mp4s that you can then upload to Imgur and use the .gifv link. It's what I've been using to trim videos before importing them into AfterEffects because it makes it much faster if you want to extract multiple scenes from a video.
There's a premium version for faster encoding but the free one should be enough.
https://www.bandicam.com/how-to-record-computer-for-24-hours/
This may work for you set it up and let it record to a folder on a server you own from there just watch the files from your server using teamviewer or something similar
I'm not a specialist, I used bandicam a couple times to record some browser games. Did not have any performance issues despite being on a potato computer, but these were browser games.
For a timelapse, I doubt it's a good option though since it follows your POW. Unless go back regularly to a central position, but then it's more hassle than the fullmap screen shot for a lesser result.
it's possible that your footage is variable frame rate, and this doesn't play well with premiere. The solution here is still to reencode you media, but to a constant frame rate, but to do that you need a program designed to deal with VFR. I've not found a great answer to this question yet myself, though I've had limited success with a program called handbrake. After a quick google, you could try https://www.bandicam.com/support/tips/vfr-cfr/#:~:text=To%20convert%20VFR%20to%20CFR,a%2030%2DFPS%20CFR%20video.
but i've not used the program before and don't know how well it works.
Test it out on a clip and see if it fixes your issues.

Normally I'd recommend OBS or ShareX, (both are free), but they are finicky to use because you have to manually set the X/Y,Width/Height of the region you have to capture, and they don't have a timer function.
The best program I think for your requirements is Bandicam. You can easily set the screen region to record, and it has timer and scheduled recording features.
The downside is that it's crippleware. Without buying the license ($39) you will have a 'www.Bandicam.com' watermark on your videos, and you are limited to 10 minutes per recording.
Use a program like Bandicut. You can pick certain timecodes in a video and it will cut it into it's own clip without re-rendering and losing quality.
https://www.bandicam.com/bandicut-video-cutter/
You could also just render each clip but if you do that you'll lose a lot of quality once it gets compressed and rendered multiple times.
On a side note, still looking for a way to enable nVIDIA's CUDA H.264 encoder (nvcuvenc) in Linux. You can currently get it working in Windows 10 by using this tutorial. Quite interested in seeing how well it would work on a compute card (Tesla K10), compared to the crappy NVENC encoder that they shipped with it (Kepler's NVENC encoder). Also heard that the NVENC encoder might not even work in ESXi, so rip that wasted die space. Gotta make things work somehow...
Footage from screen recording software tends to be vfr (variable frame rate) which is problematic for editing software. You'll likely have to convert it to get a file that will play nice in Vegas. For future recordings, I would test different settings in bandicam or try this: https://www.bandicam.com/support/tips/sony-vegas/
I assume you mean screen recording, in which case I’d suggest Bandicam. I much prefer it to OBS.
The video quality I get out of it is much better than OBS.
It’s paid, but price isn’t terrible.
Parody. The work is transformative and I'm guessing HBO is generally super chill about small portions of their content being uploaded. My last video used parts of another HBO show, Silicon Valley, and even Mike Judge tweeted about it. No strikes there either. I did, however, get a copyright claim for the song "Big Enough," but YouTube said no action is needed.
The footage was recorded with Bandicam. I have it set up for Motion JPEG at 30 FPS with PCM audio, exported as an AVI, because that's the format Adobe Premier can handle. I've tried with both with and without "enhanced capture" but I'm getting occasional tearing.
That's relatively easy to do. All you need is royalty free background music, a screen recorder like Bandicam and a video editing software like Adobe Premiere. There's just some basic transitions, some zooms, nothing fancy. A few hours of youtube tutorials will teach you everything you need.
Your english is fine btw, at least just as good as my bad english ;)
I've heard some folks get this working by mapping another key to take screenshots. YMMV.
The Windows snipping tool is helpful but a bit tricky to juggle in a cutscene.
You may want to check out Bandicam it can record video and has a hotkey for taking screenshots.
Have you tried running it as Administrator?
Just right-click on the program and click "Run as Administrator", as the picture above follows.

Yes, i have send message here too, to have a wide range of responses. But they said:
If Bandicam is blocked by a certain program, it can happen. 1. Download the official version of Bandicam from https://www.bandicam.com/downloads/ 2. Uninstall/disable suspicious programs such as anti-virus programs or copy-protection programs. (I've made before the write.) The point is that I do not know which program is the cause that does not open the Bandicam.
Check the sample rate for the sequence and make sure it lines up with the sample rate of audio you're importing. Premier will try to change the sample rate of your audio to match the sequence settings but it can be imperfect.
The default sample rate in premier, I believe, is 48000. I've never used bandicam before, but if it has a setting to edit audio, see if it's set to 48000.
Edit: Looks like the default for bandicam is 48k which should be right. Still worth checking your sequence settings in premier to make sure it matches. https://www.bandicam.com/support/settings/video/
Speakers properties -> Levels tab -> Microphone volume slider. You need to have your mic and headphones connected to the same audio device for this to work.
Used the x.264 codec rather than the AMD one, it's a bit more involved but I'm fairly sure there's a walkthrough on the bandicam website.
Addition: There is and it's here;

Sorry I'm unable to shorten the link I'm on mobile
I don't think there is a way of doing this besides holding your iPhone up to your screen and making a video. There are however some screen recorders which you install on your PC which can record everything that is happening on your screen. A free one that I used some time ago is Bandicam. The only downside is that it adds a watermark to every video and will only let you record 10 minute segments (unless you buy it for 40$ or so).
