Hover mouse over picture and click the .ico, it will start to download the picture
Put the .ico onto desktop
Right click the Chrome logo, under the shortcut tab, click change icon down near the bottom.
Click browse
On the left hand side, scroll all the way up.
Under the favorites section, you should see desktop, click that.
Click the icon you choose and downloaded that's on your desktop
Click "ok" and "apply" and you should be golden.
They are actually desktop icons for emulators that someone created. http://www.iconarchive.com/show/antiseptic-videogame-icons-by-starvingartist.html
Edit: okay that's incorrect but it reminded me of them.
I wrap my PS scripts in an EXE for internal users. "Got $problem? Click the icon on your desktop."
Sounds trivial but add an appropriate icon and make it easy:
Google "PS1 to exe". Life saver. Test thoroughly before handing out EXEs to users!
Okay here it is https://www.google.com/maps/d/edit?mid=zgS60ri8Vv1o.kFhJ6yaGRjOs&usp=sharing
everyone feel free to add in pokemon anywhere on the map. I'll make sure to login and check on it regularly.
If you need pokemon icons go here: http://www.iconarchive.com/show/pokemon-icons-by-hektakun.html
that's just a free stock icon, Can't tell much just from that. It isn't any popular or commercial software. It's pretty likely bad software.
Yeah that's true. powerlanguage suggested the rosette icon from famfamfam for set contest mode and no icon for unset. If you want to fix this, I can look at it (just :eyeglasses: me on the pull request) :) Or we'll add it to the backlog. Thanks!
Right click file explorer, click properties and look for "change icon". Google "file explorer image", download it and save it to your pictures folder. Use that as your new icon.
Edit: try this http://www.iconarchive.com/show/simply-styled-icons-by-dakirby309/File-Explorer-icon.html
Floppy Disk being replaced by the<em>save button icon</em>
The symbol itself is now immortalised in the digital world as a save symbol referencing the action of saving a file on an external format like a hdd, rather than the physical 3.5 disk. The best alternative I can think of is a download symbol http://www.iconarchive.com/download/i99352/dtafalonso/android-lollipop/Downloads.ico since you are downloading the file into an accessible format, though would be confused with any further services of downloading and cloud storage.
Here is the link for the icons.
In windows 10 if you download the ICO file and save it somewhere, then right-click the icon you want to change.
Properties > Customise > Change Icon
Then just find where you saved the icons previously!
> Hmm set suggested sort doesn't show an icon in the mod log so it might be ok to include without an icon. /u/powerlanguage - thoughts?
Looks like that and setpermissions
don't have any icons. Shouldn't be that hard to fix. I'll do it.
EDIT: setpermissions
is easy enough (just edit the pencil onto the shield icon), but I'm not sure what to do for suggested sort. Currently considering arrow switch, but I don't know for sure. Thoughts?
It doesn't look that great on Windows 8.1 (still a little bit pixelated).
I used this one and it looks great: http://www.iconarchive.com/show/android-l-icons-by-dtafalonso/WhatsApp-icon.html (just download it as ".ico").
Across the top are mostly Enigma, while the smaller more clumped up launchers are from Gnometer. The weather, news feeds, network monitor, and clock are all from Enigma also. Everything on my "taskbar" is from enigma as well, except for the clock (gnometer) and the start button ("start button" is the skin name). The battery, ram, and cpu monitors are from Sharpen.
almost all the icons on the top bar are from http://www.iconarchive.com/show/hex-icons-by-martz90.html
With enigma, you kinda need to do some fiddling to make be able to use more than 5 launchers like i have there.
i my opinion last one is fine

but instead of those balls, you coud add

or

It will only change the look for the desktop but here we go:
Step 0: Unpin teamspeak from your taskbar (If not dont worry)
Step 1: pick your favorite from and make sure it downloads as an ico file http://www.iconarchive.com/search?q=teamspeak
Step 2: Make sure to know where you saved it
Step 3: right click on the desktop shortcut and click properties
Step 4: find the ico file and click open
Step 5: Click ok
Step 6: Click apply
Step 7: Click ok again
Hope this helps :)
I installed Nova Launcher to get back the normal icons, but since there's no "Original Icon" set, I just ended up downloading all the Lollipop icons from here, and then manually replacing them one by one: http://www.iconarchive.com/show/android-lollipop-icons-by-dtafalonso.html
Icon Archive still has the icons available at a different URL. They're the same name as they were before, ie: 001-Bulbasaur-icon.png
I just saved them locally and access them from there instead of actively pulling them from the Icon Archive's website every single time a pokemon is put on the map.
Oh you found them just hanging around online somewhere? Then you maybe found them here? In which case, this is a realllly old version of the set haha, but that's awesome! It's so cool seeing people use my work, it tells me that people actually like my work and that is really neat to see and perhaps humbling too! Thanks for checking them out! :)
Like you, I was using uTorrent 1.8.4 on Yosemite for a long time too. Tried Transmission, liked it, but the lack of RSS was a deal breaker. Go to Kickass Torrents and search for “uTorrent mac appzdam”. You’ll get a single result for an ad-free version of uTorrent, 1.8.8 build 40420 (beta). This works on El Capitan!
Quick note, it has a slightly modified icon with a silly shark on it. If this doesn’t bother you, you’re all set. If you want to change it, you could do it the regular way we change icons on OS X (pasting a replacement into the Get Info window) but if you have the speed set up to show on your dock icon, it’ll revert when the numbers show, if that makes sense (i.e. idle dock icon = your icon, active transfers = shark icon). To swap it out entirely, quit uTorrent and get an .icns you want to use, for instance this. Then right-click the app > Show Package Contents > Contents > Resources > AppIcon.icns. Rename it to “AppIcon-Old.icns”. Name yours “AppIcon.icns” and drop it in here.
After you make this change, uTorrent may ask you to let it through the firewall every time it starts up (because you’ve modified it). If this happens, open up Terminal and use this command:
sudo codesign --force --deep --sign - /Applications/uTorrent.app/
The next time uTorrent starts, it’ll ask you to allow it through the firewall one last time, but it’ll shut up after that.
dang it didn't save.....
jQuery:
$(document).ready(function(){ $('#fadeText').hide(); $('#myImage').on('mouseover', function(){ $('#fadeText').fadeIn('slow');
})
})
HTML:
<div class="features-box"> <ul class="features-box-list"> <li><img id="myImage" src="http://www.iconarchive.com/download/i78687/iconka/meow- 2/cat-hungry.ico" alt="" /> <ul class="feature-box-hover"> <li id="fadeText">Fade In Text</li> </ul>
And erase any CSS with 'hover'
Find an icon you would want to use such as this one, or get one from a site like this.
Right click your drive and click properties. If there's a Customize tab, click it and click Restore Default. If that doesn't set it to what you want it to, click the Choose File button and select that icon you just downloaded.
Now, this is how to do it manually if you can't find a "customize" option. Open a notepad document and paste in:
[autorun] icon=autorun.ico
Save it in the main part of your drive, and name it autorun.inf and be sure to select all files from the "save as type" dropdown.
Now, simply put in the icon and rename it autorun.ico
That should do it.
I just found out below that this OblyTile program can add them.
But I created mine manually following these instructions and these icons. Oh and you can make them tiny in 8.1 by right clicking and clicking resize.
http://www.iconarchive.com/show/windows-8-metro-icons-by-dakirby309.1.html I used this icon pack
http://dakirby309.deviantart.com/art/Modern-UI-Tiles-Icon-Set-616-Tiles-376111513 But this seems to be same pack only updated
I download various icon packages, there are a lot of fun ones out there.
Once you've downloaded what you want, you choose your fun icon, right click it, and choose "get info." Do the same for the item you want to change.
At the top of the "Get Info" window there will be a tiny image of the icon. Then you click the tiny icon at the top, copy it, and then click the tiny upper icon of your hard drive and paste.
You can change anything, iPods, thumb drives, whatever you want. I got most of my icons at Icon Archive.
Here's a nice icon for your hard drive: Hal9000
You just need to copy and paste it onto the old icon in the "Get Info" window.
for details - its partially icon and partially interaction
Frankly, I still use them
This site is great if you want to reliable place to find them
Combined with Nova's legacy icon option, I feel like it makes my phone a lot nicer to look at
http://www.iconarchive.com is a good starting place. Mine are not all high res profile images but they’re doable. I actually was lazy on one or two of them and kept the opaque watermark lines in them. I will eventually replace them though. I just wanted to see if this was a good setup for myself and it’s working well.
This looks like a good start: http://www.iconarchive.com/artist/3xhumed.html
In addition to that guy's stuff, just use the search bar to find specific game thumbnails.
There's also this guy: https://www.deviantart.com/crussong/gallery/all
I don't know if you'll find every icon you want, but I hope this helps a bit!
a very easy and quick (and dirty?) solution would be to add an icon to each script so you can more easily identify them in the tray.
here you have a free list of colored alphabet icons: http://www.iconarchive.com/show/multipurpose-alphabet-icons-by-hydrattz.6.html
then you would add just one line to your script:
Menu, Tray, Icon, path-to-icon.ico
Mint. I definitely recommend Mint. I put my grandfather on Mint on an older Optiplex -- he didn't realize it wasn't Windows.
Just put a shortcut icon to Facebook on the desktop. And maybe one for email. This is a trick I've used to make things SUPER easy. You can even find nice friendly icons on www.iconarchive.com for the desktop links.
*Edit: Lubuntu wouldn't be bad, either. I just had better stability out of Mint for my use case as opposed to the *ubuntus.
Yo another cool idea and I tried it look so good.
Cut the whole letter slash at angle of those movie clip icon - http://www.iconarchive.com/download/i96073/iconsmind/outline/Film.ico
and then move it to left like you did with S. It will look so much better.

That’s really strange it just used the windows default icon. Maybe the .ico files somehow got corrupted during install? Evidently I did manage to find the .ico files for Far Cry 5 and Rocket League . I’m not sure if these are fan-made or official but feel free to download and set them so your desktop can be even more satisfying.
You can change the icon through right click > Properties > [Shortcut tab] > Change Icon...
Maybe something like this would be a good alternative for Adobe?
icon preview: http://icons.iconarchive.com/icons/alecive/flatwoken/256/Apps-Pdf-B-icon.png
.ico file of that image (you need this format to use as icon): http://www.iconarchive.com/show/flatwoken-icons-by-alecive/Apps-Pdf-B-icon.html
Thanks... ~~I will edit, just need to check real quick.~~

There are more on the page.
Something like the emacs icon (just like what you had for the VIM icon) will be nice, given Emacs and VIM are the two equally popular text editors in history (and I still use them): http://www.iconarchive.com/show/button-ui-requests-6-icons-by-blackvariant/Emacs-icon.html
Thanks for considering this.
The taskbar clock is from Atomic Alarm Clock from Drive Software, and the numbers are a series of images. The closest I can find (and the one that was probably used) is LECO 1976.
Let me know if you need anything else!

Download this ico and right click on your Google Drive shortcut and go to Properties and change icon. Unpin that old Google Drive and pin it back(make sure it's the shortcut that you change or open the shortcut and pin it) and see if it changes anything.
http://www.iconarchive.com/show/google-play-icons-by-marcus-roberto/Google-Drive-icon.html
Not completely barren of icons but on my desktop, I have the Recycle bin, an Apps folder, and a Games folder. I keep all my shortcuts in there so there are only 3 icons at any given time on my desktop. I also changed the icons' appearance using the Phlat Blue Folders Icons
>NOBODY anywhere would ever refer to a recorder as a flute
You're wrong then.
http://www.photo-dictionary.com/phrase/1407/flute.html
http://www.iconarchive.com/show/wind-instruments-icons-by-iconshock/Flute-icon.html
I use this one. Just save the size you want (I choose the largest one) somewhere you can find it easily. I use an icon folder within my downloads folder. Then right click on your Clustertruck folder on your desktop.
Properties > Customize > Change Icon > Browse > [Location where you saved the .ico] > Open > OK > Apply > OK.
If it doesn't change right away, you can reboot Windows Manager or your whole system and the changes should take affect then.
This is on Windows 8 and I'm pretty sure it only works for folders, not .exe files or shortcuts.
http://www.iconarchive.com/show/android-lollipop-icons-by-dtafalonso/Drawer-icon.html
So save it your photos. Find the photo in iFile. Copy/paste 3x to Library>ApplicationSupport>AppDrawer>IndexBundle. After that rename it DrawerIcon.png, and . Respring and enjoy
Hello :)
I the idea look awesome! Its great to have some recognition every now and then and it will motivate the comunity to post more knowing that it can be Uplifted. Also is a nice way to show to the cumunity what type of posts Mods enjoy and value the most!
Other thing that you can do is simply add a flair - Mod Approved - for posts that deserve recognition. That automaticlly would give it a bump. People would be more inclined to click and see what is about.
I also would like to see Upvote Buttons as a Drop - here is an exemple of what I mean.
Thanks for this great sub!
how about the option to use any correctly sized icon available online theres tons on this website alone http://www.iconarchive.com/
i imagine it as a section in the traverse settings pane much like the way cydia's "add source" page looks, having a default user based website or "repo" that is user maintained the he traversedb webside (prehaps being called traverseicn.com), but also let you enter your own websites to browse for icons on. /u/cxkes please help make this a reality
This is the icon I use for Mod Organizer. Just search how to change icons and you should be good to go. As far as mods, just go with texture packs and that sort of thing for now. Add gameplay mods when you think the game is starting to get boring.
Awesome! - Now you can make it more slick by renaming the shortcut and giving it a different icon! :-)
To rename it: right click the icon on your desktop -> Rename -> enter something meaningful, e..g "Monitor Configuration" or "Display Setup"
To change the icon: right click the shortcut on your desktop -> Properties -> Change Icon -> Find an icon you like -> OK.
If the icons there don't suit you, you can always download one (e.g. from here), download the ".ico" version and put it somewhere known on your computer, e.g. in /users/<yourName>. Then, right click the shortcut on your desktop -> Properties -> Change Icon -> Browse... -> find the icon you downloaded -> OK.
I think that issue is pretty over stated. Consider this icon pack: http://www.iconarchive.com/show/farm-fresh-icons-by-fatcow.html
Should I be worried if I create an application that has a thumbs up icon in it that this person may sue me because he also has a thumbs up icon in his licensed icon pack?
Most applications have a new file icon or a folder icon or a save file icon that looks like every other icon out there that does the same thing, yet we're not seeing lawsuits stifling app development even though icons are covered under copyright law.
if you dont like it just change it in preferences ;) i can search for a nicer one after the game im playing atm
EDIT: * http://downloadpack.net/skin_pack/lol/lol.png this one is pretty nice imo * here are some champion themed icons: http://www.iconarchive.com/show/league-of-legends-gold-border-icons-by-fazie69.html
Thank you for the advice, it is truly appreciated!
Logo
I can somewhat agree with your opinions on the logo. The white border has been removed and I although the borders still need some work I'm seeing an improvement.
I'm not an Android user therefore I'm not familiar with the icon set, but I'm assuming that this is the icon that you mentioned: http://www.iconarchive.com/download/i99352/dtafalonso/android-lollipop/Downloads.ico
I can't say that they look too similar (they're both download buttons after all), for now I'll leave the icon as it is.
Background
Personally I really like the background as I think it fits the logo and makes the site look "relaxed". Do you have any suggestions/ideas on what a better background image would look like?
Font
You're completely right about the font. I'll leave the headers with Monteserrat and see if Open Sans is a good alternative for the text.
I left the information box below the on purpose as I don't want it to annoy returning users. There is however a small clickable arrow on the bottom of the screen that points to the information.
Did you also give the functionality a try?
What is your opinion on how the service works and the animations (error, output, etc) that are displayed?
Oh, really? In Tagpro, they have a Mario flair which they got off of this website so I'm assuming something similar must apply to the skins as well. Not really sure actually.

I got my icon for the subreddit on my desktop from Icon Archive.
The only difference between these and Icon Archives is that there is a few more choices of helmets with or without LED's. But everyone loves LED's!
I get most of my icons from DeviantArt and Icon Archive.
