Lingard played for 47 games although he wasn't really first choice at the start.

Herrera himself played for 38 games despite Pogba-Matic seemed to always play and never get subbed off.

Even Luke Shaw got himself 19 games.

So I don't think Martial and Rashford, who respectively played for 44 and 51 games this season, have any reasons to be concerned. Even with Sanchez's arrival, Jose showed that he wasn't afraid to sub off/drop Sanchez, so they will still have their opportunities.

UPDATE:

Here's a comparison of Sanchez, Rashford, Martial, and Lingard since Sanchez arrived (data from transfermarkt). TL;DR:

1. Sanchez started in all his appearances and played more minutes than others. He has the best stats out of 4 though.
2. Lingard played in the most matches.
3. Rashford came in as sub 10 times.
4. Martial had some injury problems for a couple of weeks, otherwise I'm sure he could've had more minutes.
5. Martial had 0 goals and only 1 assist during that period.
6. All four of them could've performed better.

So, for a while now, I've been trying to use some of the data I've been gathering to make some cool infographics... except I'm rubbish at it. So I figured I'd free the data and let people who know what the hell they're doing have fun with it. (you can download a csv file from the ellipsis in the task bar at the top)

Howdy, author of The Program audio series here. A few days ago, The Program got featured on Apple Podcasts. And while it's not the first time the show got promoted by Apple, this is the first time it was showcased directly on the front page of the biggest store - the US one.
How did it happen? I was lucky Apple opened "Alternate Realities", a category that fits my podcast to a T (the show is set in a world in which Money, State, and God became fused into a single entity called the Program), and fortunate that one of the editors of the Canadian store endorsed my pitch for The Program to be included (pitches are open to everyone, but the US store is inundated so it helps if you have someone to vouch for you).
As you can see from the chart, the show has been getting between 150 and 250 downloads per day in the period before it got promoted (it's currently between seasons so the numbers have been low but stable). After the promotion, it shot up to over 700 downloads per day, and I have a feeling it might plateau there.
I have no idea how representative these numbers are, but thought some people might find a data point like this interesting.
The Program comes for us all. (Really - new episodes start running in August!)

Just wanted to mention that I stumbled upon another option recently: Supabase. It's basically Firebase, but open source if you care about that. The other thing that makes it different is it uses Postgres, so if you're a fan of relational DBs (Firebase uses Cloud Firestore, a NoSQL/non-relational DB), it's an option worth considering. If you don't care though, Firebase is much more mature & has a lot more functionality than Supabase.

Some games are locked to 30FPS regardless of whether you're playing in 1080 or 4K mode.

Some games have a toggle that allows you to choose between 60FPS (at a lower resolution) or 30FPS (at a higher resolution).

Finally, some games will run in 60FPS in 1080p mode by default.

I've been trying to find a good dmc database for a while, and none have been quite right. The last one I used had no way to transfer info onto a different brand phone, and I've never felt more defeated.

I found airbase on the fountain pen community, and after creating a pen data base I started building one for thread. It's on the cloud and you can access it on phone or computer, and you can share your thread list with friends. You can copy my data base, then add/change/remove records, columns, and tables as you please. I'm in love with this.

A note: There are a few hidden columns, "colour order" being one. This is so you can go back to a perfect rainbow-sorted-grid if you need to sort by a different field. So maybe don't delete that. Ctrl+F to find a dmc number. I also added a "sample projects" tab, as an example of linked records. I'm going to keep track of my projects that way too. The two patterns there are ones I made myself screwing around photoshop, feel free to use/share them.

Check out Supabase! It aims to be similar in experience to Firebase, except it’s based on PostgreSQL and is open-source, so no vendor lock-in. You’ll find tons of tutorials (even Flutter-Supabase-specific ones) on YouTube.

I haven’t tried it with Flutter, but Supabase made it incredibly easy to deploy a test Svelte app on Vercel, including multi-login, passwordless auth, avatar images, etc.

I really enjoyed Janua Vera a lot, and my expectations were very high for Gagner la Guerre. The author has a lot of potential, his writing is very good and his research really shines through it.

However, I could read about a third before giving it up, because it is the epitome of toxic masculinity. It is sexist, homophobic and racist as a general background, and (not a spoiler, but a CW following) >!the rape scene seen from the eyes of the rapist, concluded with a dash of humour is simply unforgivable to me!<. None of those issues are questioned in the book. Who does the author think he is writing for? Does he not see he is normalizing rape culture and validating it? It is a book that marginalizes such a big portion of humanity that I am still shocked by it.

I am also furious at fans who recommend it without giving appropriate content warnings. I suggest to everyone thinking about reading it to refer to this airtable where all the CW are listed.

I have not seen Jacqueline Carey mentioned yet! She wrote several series, but I can only vouch for Kushiel's Universe so far; it's 3 trilogies, so the criteria: long = check! It has romance, although it is far from being the main focus, but it contains a lot of very graphic sex scenes. The protagonist is also female. It comes with a lot of content warnings, that you can find in this airtable where we compiled all the novels from the top lists that have been run on the sub. You can also have fun selecting woman writer and high fantasy and see what results you have!

I'm very skeptical that this data is accurate and/or up-to-date. This AirTable compiled by the COVID Tracking project shows that only six states have public-facing dashboards reporting vaccination data, and even those are more than 24 hours out of date.

States are clearly focused more on getting jabs into arms than reporting data to the public.

First answer: Since the story broke we've talked to a half-dozen authors with strikingly similar stories. With permission, we've given Disney the names of some of those authors, hoping that they would reach out, but their policy is that the initial contact must come from the author.

The good news is that we do have a point of contact at Disney now and are beginning the long conversation process.

In addition to helping Alan Dean Foster connect with the licensor to begin negotiations, we also suggested several steps Disney could take to avoid non-payment of royalties in the future. These steps included:

• adding an FAQ about missing royalties to their licensing website
• having an identifiable contact point
• proactively looking for authors who may be missing payments/statements due to an acquisition or other reasons.

So there's two main part you are asking about: code generation to give your user access to a list, and then the realtime part. Both require backend support. You can use something like Firebase or Supabase for that.

Both are capable of setting up listener for real time updates to the data stored. So when some data changes you'll get notified in the React app, and you can display the change.

For the code generation part you'll probably want to generate a code that's stored in the backend, and only gives access / redirect users that do have the code to the list.

Just a quick note: using a free Heroku database is fine for practice and a hobby app that doesn't get real traffic, but Heroku's free databases aren't intended for this use-case, and this setup will eventually break. There are two reasons:

1. Heroku's DATABASE_URL is dynamic, and changes regularly. Whatever you enter as the database url for Prisma will break when Heroku changes your database URL (which they can and will do without warning, at the wee hours.)
2. If you're using serverless functions (like the /api routes in a NextJS project) each function/route will require a new connection to the database, and depending on your traffic, an individual route may wind up making multiple database connections. Heroku's free database has a limited number of connection pools, which you will max out. When that happens, your site will break.

If you want to use Prisma and a cloud Postgres offering with Next's /api pages, I'd recommend Supabase's cloud Postgres database, which is well-suited to this kind of use case and offers a free tier. The team developing it is super responsive, too (in fact, I bet a developer for their team will chip in soon :))

I'm on iOS and as far as dedicated wardrobe apps I've only used Stylebook, but if you're into seeing different statistics and ways of viewing and categorizing your wardrobe you might also consider using Airtable, which has a desktop app and a mobile app. It's free, though there are paid tiers. If you're only doing it for personal use imo the free tier is plenty.

I use it like this and I have the template available here. But if you're mostly interested in a feature that lets you build polyvore style outfit collages, this isn't going to do that.

Far Cry: New Dawn currently runs at 30 fps on Stadia, the framerate has nothing to do with the speed (or more importantly the quality) of your internet connection to Stadia servers unfortunately a lot of the old Ubisoft games run at 30

So this has to have been posted before, but I need to share Rob Burbea’s jhāna retreat.

It has been, to my experience, the single most helpful piece of work in practicing samādhi I have ever come across. Even if you’re not interested in practicing the jhānas, his way of conceiving practice in general is incredibly open and intuitive. As one of Rob’s final gifts to the world, it came out as something truly special.

There’s also a transcription of the whole retreat available to read. It’s a large document — a 473 page pdf — but if you read it, I strongly suggest not skipping over any parts. Even if you come up on one of the talks and you read the title and kind of think, “oh I’ve already got a grasp on this bit”, just read it, there will almost certainly be something there for you.

I don't buy 30fps games on Stadia, but there are a few exceptions such as The Crew 2. The Crew 2 felt fine to me but I did try out Ubisoft+ on Stadia recently and I tried out Far Cry 5 and there was no shot I was going to be able to play that on Stadia. Aiming felt so terrible and laggy that I failed the intro chase scene 3 times or something (and no I don't have bad aim on KB&M, and my internet was fine). Also, the game has a lot of graphical glitches pretty often so I'll just play it on PC if I ever want to play it again. 1. Imagine a regular database like a person sitting in a room full of documents. Every time you ask them a question, they have to go look through their folders and drawers, noting down all the stuff they need to answer your question on a sheet of paper. Eventually, they hand you that sheet of paper, and it has your answers. Now imagine you go ask them the same question. They'd have to go do all that stuff again, and that's annoying. A materialized view basically means that the person copies down the answers before they give them back to you. That way, the next time you ask, they can give you the answer immediately! But what happens if someone comes and adds more papers to the room? Your old answer might now no longer be right! View maintenance simply means that the person in the room has some way to check if the old answer is still right. One way to do this would be for the person to look at every new paper that is added, and if they see that it is relevant to the question you asked, they simply throw away your old answer, and they'll go search the room again if you ask again. With incremental view maintenance, the person will use the information from all the new papers that were added to update your answer so that it's correct again rather than throwing it away!

I'm a documentary filmmaker creating a feature length film composed entirely of community video submissions submitted daily as the COVID-19 pandemic progresses. We are looking for people (anyone!) to submit daily or at least frequent short videos documenting and discussing their lives during this pandemic. Everyone is in this together but experiencing so many different things, so we want to use the power of cell phones and the internet to create a global picture of how humans are fighting and coping with COVID-19.

Let me be clear that no one is paying us to do this (we are searching for urgent grant funding) and participation is always voluntary at all times.

Surprised no one has mentioned Airtable. You can configure it for different views including kanban boards and I find it a million time more flexible than trello, even on just the free plan.

• If you are eating a varied diet of whole plant foods, you will be getting all the omega-3 you need, with NONE of the contamination risks of heavy metals, PCBs, PCNs, flame retardants, or other lovely things like ciguatera...
• You may "feel good" after eating fish because you get a load of saturated fat and some protein which will make you feel full and have energy. But in terms of overall nutrition over weeks and days, you're getting a far better nutrient load from plant foods, without that saturated fat dump into your system.
• "Eating smaller fish" may expose you to slightly less of the nasties than large fish because their bodies have less time to bioaccumulate. But the risk still remains. What people struggle to conceptualize is that, for instance, PCBs, have a half-life of several years in the body, which means even if you reduce your exposure, this stuff hangs around... and we're only now learning some of the effects
• ...and those effects seem now to include increased diabetes risk

I have been waiting for this monitor since it was announced and this has already selling in certain countries such as China and Taiwan, so should be coming to other countries soon.

The court often looks for the "best case" on which to provide a ruling. I think they still have several good ones to choose from. And if they're going to make a landmark decision let's let it be on the right to carry outside the home for law abiding citizens vs one for those convicted of crimes.

Sure, I think a non-violent person should be able to get their rights back, but in terms of helping the overall case for gun rights a law abiding person is better than a convicted criminal.

And they can, and may still hear a lifetime ban case as Mai v United States is still pending a decision on cert. Perhaps the pro-2A justices think this is a better case than the others to give a ruling they want to give setting a new precedent.
