dress up in nice clothes and play golf on my Nintendo wii while playing minigolf music on my laptop...drastically better that way
edit: for people asking about what music, i open this up in my browser and listen to the track that plays during this game: http://www.miniclip.com/games/mini-golf/en/
It's called Chasm! I loved that game! It is really hard though. I'm on mobile so I'll find a link later.
Edit: Try this link
http://jayisgames.com/review/chasm.php [DED]
Edit Edit: Previous link is ded; here's the Miniclip one:
Download and install a 32 bit browser that still supports NPAPI plugins. You can find a list here.
Once installed, type the game link in your new browser and voila... you will be greeted with the same error message because Miniclip isn't embedding the .dcr file on their servers anymore.
Fear not. Go to Archive.org, enter the game link, choose a random snapshot from 2015, view the page source, ctrl+f ".dcr" and copy the appropriate link (it will be something like games/on-the-run-classic/en/runner.dcr). Add this to miniclip.com and voila, you get a working link and a working game: http://www.miniclip.com/games/on-the-run-classic/en/runner.dcr
This method works for almost every shockwave game.
Also this game: http://www.miniclip.com/games/bush-shoot-out/en/
Nothing is more early-2000s than a flash game in which you play as George W Bush with an assault rifle defending the White House from a terrorist invasion.
YES!! There was I time where I delved deep into free online gaming. So much dreck but some of the top games are my favorites on any platform. Some favorites:
For similar flippy goodness to Fancy Pants, N - The Way of the Ninja very challenging maze/platform
Motherlode Simple goal - dig deeper and deeper. Typical "upgrade to go deeper to get better stuff to upgrade to go deeper" but for some reason just done really, really well.
And damnit, there's a game with a very similar glib feel to Fancy Pants Man where you played as a ball who could bounce jump. Upgrades included turning into a heavy ball, glass, extra bouncy, ect. There was a kick-ass space level on the moon which was made out of cheese.
Its not possible in the mobile version, unlike the pc version, which breaks down the cell into tons of cells.
For some reason miniclip did not add this feature.
Unfortunately, just like the majority of Nitrome games, it's behind some kind of DRM URL protection.
With the machine fighting one do you mean with those small robots fighting on a rooftop? You start out with an axe or shovel on your bot or something?
Miniclip can be fun, but I have proof that they take games from other devs, change the name, and remove the previous dev's branding on the game.
For example: Dogfight 2. Miniclip: http://www.miniclip.com/games/fighter-pilot-2/en/#t-sd
Got the newest Humble Bundle, so I've been playing that.
Papers, Please, LOVETROUSERS, and Monaco I already owned. LOVETROUSERS has some really fun gameplay, if you don't mind playing as a sorta-nazi. Papers, Please I want to enjoy, but couldn't get into it. The actual checkpoint gameplay I liked, but I didn't see the point to the personal-life stuff. Monaco is bad and I don't know why people like it so much.
I haven't yet played The Bridge or Gone Home. Neither one looks particularly interesting. Gunpoint is unplayable, it just refuses to run properly on my computer (I get, like, 1 frame every 3-4 seconds). It's pretty inexcusable, it's not a graphically complicated game. Hammerwatch also failed to hold my interest.
The gems I got out of this bundle are Steamworld Dig and Chase the Sun. In the former's case, it reminds me quite a bit of Motherload, an old miniclip favorite. I've played through it a few times now, it's a fun game to try and speedrun. Chase the sun has tight controls and you feel like you're moving really, really fast. It's tons of fun.
I've also been playing Sanctum 2. It's pretty cool. I used to love TD games, and I've always loved FPS's, especially ones that let you rocket jump.
Speaking of rocket jumping, TF2 is still my main game.
You're not ready for this part of the Internet. Here, http://www.miniclip.com http://www.tumblr.com http://www.disney.com
Edit: I realize this is a troll account, my previous statement still stands. I refuse to believe you're a day over 12.
OK, appearntly google is your friend after all :P It was this game. Wrapped in some Visual Basic shortcut to run directly from desktop within ie. (Thats why windows update broke it i guess.)
http://www.miniclip.com/games/bubble-trouble/en/ They were always playing the 1 person version so it might be a remake etc. But definitely this.
The feeling when those flash games get popular and grow is amazing. Ever heard of the game trials? (Trials Fusion, Evolution, etc) I started as a flash game on miniclip. http://www.miniclip.com/games/trial-bike/en/ (it doesn't seem to work though)
Kinda reminds me of MotherLoad. Many of the things you mentioned are in this game, but there are some slight differences. http://www.miniclip.com/games/motherload/en/ This may be like a newer version of the game you're thinking of though. The lava comes into play as you dig deeper.
http://www.miniclip.com/games/viking-defense/en/vikingdefense.swf
It doesn't make it much larger, unfortunately.
Edit: it breaks the game after the first stage is completed, the mini-clip social integration never loads and keeps the game from progressing.
Read for an hour. Walk around awhile. Play miniclip multiplayer 8-ball for an hour and a half. Smoke some weed (very sneakily). Walk around some more. Look through all the books, CD's and DVD's in the airport. Read some more. Newspapers are cheap and can kill an hour or more if you read them thoroughly.
This doesn't have ladders in it as far as I know, and it's a flash game so most likely isn't what you're looking for but I thought I might as well try: Bubble Trouble?
I instantly thought of this 2d mining game. MotherLoad
Mine, collect ore and treasures, avoid rocks. It's got all that.
In 2007, this was the game our school would have been playing. Until the site was added to the filters. Then we found another obscure website and moved on to play a different game.
Hmmm... not working for me right now, but I'm pretty sure it's the game you're looking for. Used to play it with my little brother all the time.
Here's the first one that plays more like metal slug: http://www.miniclip.com/games/commando/en/
Here's the third one that plays even less like metal slug: http://www.miniclip.com/games/commando-3/en/
FUCKING ROBOT RAGE. It was my shit- so interesting from developing and painting your robots to finding people in the arena to fight. I think you could even chat in battle- but it was thrilling. Went on it a year or two ago, and it was all but abandoned. I hope that's what you're talking about.
Edit: link
There are WAY more mini games available on PC than on the consoles, but they aren't usually assembled into overarching games like Mario Party.
here's Tug the Table! and it's a pretty fun (free) game that's really deep for only using one button.
keep perusing sites like these or find related games, and you'll be at it for hours, and hours....
The game is this for android. As long as it has existed it has had no actual chat just some phrases you can say like well played and stuff. There is no need for communication in this game.
MotherLoad. You operate a drilling machine, and your goal is to recover valuables from the earth. With those valuables, you can upgrade your machine to dig even deeper. It's a very addictive game, and luckily (or not?) it lasts only a few hours. I was surprised there was even an ending to the game, and the ending itself was surprising as well.
I recall that as well. I think though, at this point, implementing that system when the game is quite well self imploding, would be counter intuitive to their whole "grab as much money as we can on our way out" scheme lol. Regardless of people's stances on it, it is an incontestable fact that the game has become far less popular...the one from miniclip dropped it from what, 1st for many many years to 7th now..? (edit: Just checked it is actually not even there anymore...) Then look at the google trends for the word "runescape" and it peaked in 2007 and has plummeted ever since...
Alright, since you're new to games I would recommend just starting out with basic flash games. I would recommend Googleing "Tetris flash"or "Pacman flash" if you are looking for something to get you used to playing games. Sites like Miniclip are filled with basic games that don't need any background or significant time/hardware. There are a lot of side scrolling games there (2D games where you move left, right, up, down like Mario games) that are easy enough to pick up. There are also a fair amount of puzzle games if you enjoy those (I'd recommend this to get you used to playing in a 3D space).
Do you a smartphone (iPhone, Android, Windows phones)?
Also, how willing are you to spend money? Or are you not really looking to spend money on gaming at the moment?
I'll add more later, but I have something that I need to do.
omg I remember this too! i'll look around for it
Edit: Shark Bait
There's an archive of the game page here
You actually really helped me because in that AMA I found a website someone posted where you can interact with the page as it was in any given year and I found it!
Maybe you can find yours too :) thank you!
I found it! Had to use the way back machine to find it on Miniclip. Game is Light Heroes, are really hard bullet hell with so many different enemies and settings. Link http://www.miniclip.com/games/light-heroes/en/
I don't remember the exact game, but this reminds me of an old flash game I used to play all the time. Something about a barbarian and clicking to smash things and get coins. I'll see if I can find it...
Edit: Found it! http://www.miniclip.com/games/black-knight/en/
Story: There was once an aspiring neopian who wanted to get the Drackonack: I'm hungry avatar. They bought a drackonack for half price from the Ye Olde Petpets shop, along with some cheese. Refresh after refresh, to no avail. The neopian still has not obtained the elusive avatar.
Interesting:...uhm. I think programming is pretty neat and it's something I want to learn about ;-;
Amusing/Amusing for you: This http://www.miniclip.com/games/dino-run/en/
Nails: I've got some blue ones right now, with white flowers on them. I think they're cute but I don't get my nails done that often.
Made: I animate lots of stuff. Right now I'm working on doing all of these http://www.animatorisland.com/51-great-animation-exercises-to-master/
Music: I don't listen to a lot of mashups per say, but I like alt rock kinda stuff
Ideal Afternoon: Lying down on my bed, with a brand new 3ds game/neopets, eating an icecream sundae/some other icecream/chocolate based thing, listening to something peaceful (Oh, and the neighborhood kids that run around screaming outside have to go on an extended vacation... Aka moving away forever)
As far as my goals on the site right now, I'm saving up to paint this guy here http://www.neopets.com/petlookup.phtml?pet=Muviar (Right now he's sick, ugh :P) Halloween :D It's not a goal I've had for more than 24 hours though, it just came to me last night when I was playing neoquest. Otherwise I'm working on avatars/trophies that I don't have (And since I just came back to neo, is quite a lot..)
My user is fiowen_ :3
Pretty sure. I remember this game that said something like "Continue for 200 miniclip credits" when you died, and I remember never having any money to buy them. I'll go check.
Edit: http://www.miniclip.com/credits/en/ Huh. Guess not then.
>time travel has rarely -if ever- actually been implemented successfully as a gameplay mechanic
Day of the Tentacle handled it pretty well!
edit: just remembered Chronotron quite possibly the best time-travel based game ever
Oh, i know what you're talking about. I was a flash game. It was on boats and you could upgrade them and stuff. let me find that for you
EDIT: found it Raft Wars http://www.miniclip.com/games/raft-wars/en/
EDIT2: Upon further inspection of our post, it was definetly not what you were thinking about.
If you like Race the Sun, you might enjoy Dino Run. It has a similar endless runner theme, but a different dynamic that doesn't involve 3D graphics or hovercars:
http://www.miniclip.com/games/dino-run/en/
They're doing a funding campaign for a new version:
Oh man, this is it!
The game wouldn't load for me at your link, but a search for "Chasm Game" brought up this link, which does work for me. Definitely the game I remember. Thanks so much!!
Based on the Internet Archive, I found Spineworld to match your description the best.
And its great that you do :), i played and finished DA:I.
The thing with that game was, it's design is full of crap. I also enjoyed my time spent there doing meaningless tasks, we need that from time to time. But the sad truth is, it's enjoyment comes from mechanics, cause all the rest is questionable.
To me DA:I was very mediocre (point wise mby 6/10). On the other hand if they dropped all the blobbed up rifts and flag planters and made the game shorter and the stuff you do more "meaningful" i would probably give it 8/10 or 9/10. I just get irritated with what they try to push as meaningful in that game with no work done to make it look so.
PS: since you enjoyed DA:I and apparently enjoyed some of the tasks in there, you might want to try MotherLoad (its an old free online game that is perfect at sucking a couple hours from you doing tasks that feel meaningful) I had a blast with it and lost more time than i should there, but hey :). Link to it http://www.miniclip.com/games/motherload/en/
Will try, if no one hears from me in 10 hours, send for help. EDIT : Yeah, I remember this game, actually. Don't know why I went back to Miniclip, now I remember Heli Attack 3 and On The Run, the other games I spent so much time on.
The flair's class is 'helper' other than that I have no idea. Also, when I played fancy pants 1, 2, and 3 (linked to the first one) they vaguely reminded me of N, so maybe that'll work?
Does it count if it's on a website?
I play this pool game, http://www.miniclip.com/games/8-ball-pool-multiplayer/en/
You can win 'coins'. I racked up over 700,000, and then one day 550,000 of them disappeared so I wrote and inquired. I did not swear or get hotheaded.
They replied and accused me of manipulating the game and getting the coins by cheating. I wouldn't even know how.
Some flash games that have reasonably big and/or dramatic bosses:
<strong>Epic Boss Fighter:</strong> Consisting exclusively of large bosses this game is an obvious choice. One other thing: Play it on WASD controls, mouse follow sucks.
<strong>Commando Series:</strong> Sorta similar to Contra in some aspects, all parts of the series feature massive shoot'em up action with some large bosses. I've played & enjoyed Commando 2 (the one linked) the most. Part 1 is relatively awkward to play, and I haven't played part 3 enough to say anything about it.
Many older <strong>Nitrome</strong> games also feature some large bosses. Most of them are just somewhat large and not really massive or dramatic though, so they might not be what you're looking for. IIRC Final Ninja, Final Ninja Zero, Dirk Valentine, and Fat Cat are good examples, although I haven't played those games in ages so I'm not 100% sure.
Also: All flash games that aren't site-locked can be downloaded and played offline using a standalone flash player.
It's been like, a decade or more since I played Rock Raiders, but from what I can remember, isn't it basically an isometric 3D version of games like Steamworld Dig or Motherload?
I go through phases where I'll religiously play Anagram Magic.
You and another player get a selection of letters, like in Scrabble, and have to make the longest word out of them. Some letters are worth more than others, and more frustratingly, a lot of words are not acceptable because it's a G-rated gaming site. It'll count down if you leave the page, so you don't have an opportunity to look it up. If you timeout, you lose the game, and it shows on your stats to other players how many games you've lost. At the last round, you're both given a selection of letters with a predetermined word that uses ALL of the letters, and the first one who gets it wins the round unless the competitor has a significant amount of points over you already.
Motherload is my absolute favourite game for killing time! Bio: Motherload is a great 2d flash game made by XGenStudios. Players dig downwards side scroller style to harvest ores, which they take to the surface, sell, and use that money to incease their ability to go deeper and collect more rare and valuable ores.
A free online game known as Motherload. (Play it here!: http://www.miniclip.com/games/motherload/en/ )
It came out some years ago(2004, according to gamefaqs), back when I was 6 years old. Played it for a good while, and it got me hooked on playing pc games, basically browser based games untill some years later when I played something a bit more proper. (And yes, I'll turn 16 this year)
There was a Flash game on Miniclip called Platypus. Can't get it to run now, and it's been years since I've even been to Miniclip, but it was a lovely game. I got into the top 10 leaderboard multiple times, though I'm guessing not a whole lot of people played it.
Can't really remember anything apart from something I found on /r/WebGames recently called Rail Rush. Perhaps you'll find something more interesting on their forums, I remember they had a Flash Contest some time ago and there were a solid game or two.
I'm not sure how much it will help because you're used to meds, but I havnt never been on meds for my anxiety and I find forcing myself to concentrate on a game during a panic attack helps.
Heres some disc golf flash games to pass the time:
MiniClip - pretty simple little game, you'll get bored with it after one round.
And of course as someone else mentioned theres always youtube videos. Enjoy your new addiction! There is a pretty good support group for newbies here on /r/discgolf.
I'm unfortunately addicted to Miniclip's 8 Ball Multiplayer.
It's the best, most realistic billiards simulator I've found...come at me if you want a challenge, screenname: whatsmycue
When I was working in a cafe I started playing Youda Sushi Chef, I swear to God I improved at multi-tasking and prioritizing when we were really busy.
do you want a game that's not boring for you or her? Miniclip has tons of flash games that were insanely dull to me that my kids loved. At 3.5 I'd suggest a game like monster truck nitro. http://www.miniclip.com/games/monster-trucks-nitro/en/ and if she takes to it, you can buy the version on steam.
It really is awful, no ability to mute the amount of accuracy needed is ridiculous. If I wanted to play this type of game I would much rather play Wheels of Salvation.
Bow Master is a great archery game, as well as the sequel, Winter Bow Master.
Drift N Burn 365 is a fantastic racing game.
Fun thing about miniclip is it's on the internet archive so you can browse to the website back then and maybe find the game that way. There's a huge list of the games on the site there too.
https://web.archive.org/web/20100219002427/http://www.miniclip.com/games/en/puzzle.php
Let me correct u it all who set down their pride racism(ANITGAMERS INCLUDED) and the homosexuality .
if u all actually read the bible u would know this. click here for proof Yeah it's good proof right. Stop listening to false prophets your so call leaders
Some results: If I browse the game in the private-mode (firefox) I'm not being identified. The results from https://panopticlick.eff.org are: Does your browser unblock 3rd parties that promise to honor Do Not Track? ✗ no Does your browser protect from fingerprinting? ✗your browser has a unique fingerprint
I installed their privacy-badger... I'm still being tracked by miniclip.com. I think they're using the IP though they declare:
"We may log IP addresses and drop cookies or flash cookies to support the internal operations of the Services, such as to prevent abuse of the Services or to provide and/or enhance them. Please note that IP addresses, if logged, are neither stored nor linked to any user account."
So they're probably linking it to my browser, right?
aswell as some other game im pretty sure is still up today, ( without updates ) dunno what it was called, pretty much a dungeon crawler (third person/3d) with the exact same weapons at the late game but with a different glow on them and you could only get them when you went down the stairs 100 times, big castle type thing, you went in the dungeon, finish 2 floors, sell all your items to buy a new weapon with a green glow to go downstairs and repeat. also remember driving around in a buggy in the same game .. memories.. OH Shit i remember CASTLE CAT aswell now! you run and jump and shoot and shit omg
EDIT: SHIRWOOD DUNGEON
runescape https://web.archive.org/web/20050403015740/http://www.miniclip.com/multiplayer.htm
I loved Heli Attack! Also worth mentioning is the awesome sequel Heli Attack 3, which took the addictive gameplay loop of HL2 and turned it into a full-length game with a campaign, varied levels and enemies and even more weapons.
I recently got GameMaker and got the urge to try and create a Heli Attack-clone...
>"The last time I tried to gather that red material it exploded, I'll try using a different tool this time. Perhaps I should use the red laser on the red crystal? Ah-ha, this is the right tool!" -Thats about the extent of the knowledge I suggest.
But you added lazy difficulty. There is no need for explosions here, the only thing it has to do is: not work. The knowledge is the same.
>Or just 'bleep' as you get closer.
I like that a lot. It's so simple and effective :)
>I'm not suggesting a material may explode and you loose 'everything'. Only that small blob/rock/bubble of material would be lost. In which case, you move on to the next. If materials are found in clusters, you may fail a few times -on a single cluster- while you learn, but by the end of that cluster, you know what you're doing
Right, but that's important. Things can 'not work' in many ways. Minor damage, minor explosions, just to get a visceral effect could be fine.
>Fun Hazards
Fun is a personal thing. I absolutely hate inverted controls, i basically instantly uninstall games who do that to me. It's the most annoying thing to me. I can not stand it. Your fun is my pet peeve :P
>the motivation was really to highlight my hopes that the collection of resources, which seems to be a large focus of the game, be more than 'click and collect'.
Yes, I really hope so too. I hope that the hazardous environment gets really hazardous. Low oxygen, low light, poison, maybe lava, water, and of course alien life. Have you played 'motherload'? (link to flash game) It's interesting in how it makes progression work, how it deals with upgrading and how balanced it is. Also notice how it deals with dangerous materials. Highly addictive little mining game. But nothing more than 'click and collect' in every aspect.
I'm going to be a bit unorthodox and post a web game here. I rarely play games, but since I'm an F1 fan I love this tiny game.
http://www.miniclip.com/games/grand-prix-go/en/#t-c-f-C
The 4th Silver Race Cup in the pro championship(You unlock the pro championship by qualifying on pole and winning all 12 races in the original championship).
This level had me stuck there for exactly one whole year. Last week, I finally managed to get third place and unlocked the Gold cup pro championship! That was such a huge relief.
(Sidenote: I've renamed all the drivers and recoloured all the cars to resemble the lineup in this year's formula 1, haha.)
No need for Wayback Machine as the file itself still appears to be on Miniclip http://www.miniclip.com/games/hunter/en/hunter.dcr
That said it just freezes after the logo for me. Shockwave's backward compatibility is usually pretty good so I suspect it's probably checking some script to verify it's not being leeched. Might be able to spoof it with some effort, as I've already done with some old Robotduck games that don't run anymore for the same reason.
Just looked here for a coffee maker & telling yourself it makes fun of the Commando games? skeuomorphic. http://www.incredibox.com/ ? Reminds me of this story.
They don't make up the majority of games, though, do they?
And many puzzle games actually use collision to fulfill the puzzle, such as this.
There is also one I couldn't find the link for where you had to wake up the king of a castle by, for instance, placing wheels on wooden rods to push him off a platform. That used collision, obviously.
Jacksmith! Really fun game. Our soundtrack didn't come from Jacksmith though, it was posted as a free to use song by a musician a few years ago in an indie game dev group, and we used it then. I'll try to track down the source at some point, once we add real credits to the game.
Spoilers but 1) Could be Motherload? http://www.miniclip.com/games/motherload/en/ Really popular game where you follow the instructions of Mr. Natas as you dig deeper until you eventually meet him and he wants to kill you.
3) Sounds like World's Hardest Game http://www.coolmath-games.com/0-worlds-hardest-game you're a square getting past levels.
VVVVVV
It's a platformer game where you can't jump. Left and right to move, spacebar inverts gravity.
The plot is that you and your crew were in hyperspace when your ship malfunctioned, and you crashed in a strange dimension. You're trying to find the ship, the other five members of the crew and a way out of this dimension. It's 2-d with pixellated graphics and a color scheme that changes each time you move to a new screen. (You move off the right of the screen, you appear on the left of the next one. Same with top and bottom. The world is wrap-around.) Amazing if disorienting game. Here is the demo if you're interested.
I never called you an unfun fuckwit - although you certainly sound like it. Just your post and the hipster/theveneration bashing on r/motorcycles is why it has such a shitty reputation in the wider motorcycle community.
Perhaps go and play this. Might help with your grumps -http://www.miniclip.com/games/trials-2/en/
I could be wrong - I haven't gotten to check the game myself because Java won't let me run it, but I'm pretty sure it's Need For Madness which is on miniclip.
this fucker right here. Its a fun bike racing game, I wasted a lot of time with it
Also this Metal slug rip of, if you like to shoot things and what not
Anagram Magic, perhaps? http://www.miniclip.com/games/anagram-magic/en/ it's a browsr game where you find words in a given set of letters, while competing with another player. I doubt that it might be the one, but see for yourself.
FW/Plays - Commando 2 - Epic is a understatement for this game. Edit [] Normal Game Link: http://www.miniclip.com/games/commando-2/en/ [] Hacked Version (Much more better) - http://www.hackedarcadegames.com/game/1870/Commando-2.html
Tell me about it. Without my afternoon fix of "women over 40 I'd like to ruin" and Albert's latest CK2 escapades, I'm flagging.
Got to level 28 on Sugar Sugar though http://www.miniclip.com/games/sugar-sugar-3/en/ :picard:
Yeah it was weird when I found the KFC, I drove up to it at about 2am and there was no one in sight, nothing in the car park, just the lights inside were on. I turned around and went to McDonalds, I didn't want to piss off someone who had found the perfect job for taking naps.

WARNING: This comment is off topic. Holy crap. This video made me remember a flash game from like 10 years ago. 'Zed'. It's basically a smaller scale N with more detailed graphics. It's nowhere near as good, but it was good enough for me back in the day.
Link to the game: http://www.miniclip.com/games/zed/en/
Also, what's with the new head design? Is it supposed to make the damn things more aerodynamic or what?
This is glorious, My friend from California (I live in Texas) stayed at my house for a couple days and all we played was soccer physics (fun but gets old) http://www.miniclip.com/games/soccer-physics/en/
this may not work for you but i tried playing through the miniclip website and so far have encountered no lag at all. give it a go man and let me know if it fixes it for you
Clicker Heroes, Adventure Capitalist and daily awesome games posted on /r/webgames.

Maybe One of these?
When I was 12 or so, one of my first experiences on the Internet was playing 8 Ball Pool on Miniclip. It was one of the very first interactions I had with other people via an online game, and I remember one time someone messaged me -- or said publicly in the chat, not sure which -- that he was going to come to (insert my city's name) and "kick my ass." It really freaked me out, and I think I immediately logged off after that -- in retrospect, it's likely I just entered my information somewhere on the site when I was signing up and the guy simply looked at my profile and then sent that threat.
Maybe not the creepiest thing ever, but to my young self, the prospect of a stranger knowing where I was and with the threat of kicking my ass, it was certainly creepy at the time. It's funny to me now, but there you have it. The Internet was a terrifying place for a while.
Viikonloppu menee tietysti viikon nollauksessa.
Parasta nuoruudessa? No tietysti Newgrounds ja miniclip. Sitten oli tietysti plaza.fi:n pelit: Rollercoaster ja se kaksitasopeli tahi vastaava. Tietäjät tietää.
I vividly remember playing a single browser game on repeat while playing a song on repeat. This must've late 2005. It was the game Need for Madness! and the song was Dum Diddly by Black Eyed Peas.
A couple months ago I was randomly listening to my iTunes catalogue, and this song came up, and I just got flashbacks to the game, and just had to remember what the game was. Might go play again...
yeah, it has come to a screetching halt for the most part, play on miniclip, and they have a new clicker game, CLicker Heros out that is a bit more fun and better graphics and a bit more involved, I am slowly switching over to it.
Soccer physics and Soccer stars
one is absolute hilarity and the other is actually a pretty addictive tactical physics games
I wasted many an hour of highschool playing Avalanche.
And Heli Attack 2 was basically my childhood before I got a gamecube. (or friends.)
Bubble Trouble (2002). The physics are dialed in perfectly; its simplicity at its finest. Set shoot to up arrow if you want to be any good. You can play on a team with a buddy next to you and I maintain it's the best stoner game out there.
I got up early to go to a job fair, went there, there was definitely no job fair.
At least I got up before noon.
Went home and played pool.
just played the most intense multiplayer session ever. 2 teams were competing over a briefcase filled with info, and had to take it half way across town. at the same time, due to the inevitable firefight, everyone had a 3 star rating
not much progress was made, until i finally picked the case up. started driving down cliffs as a shortcut, and these 2 cars from the other team followed me, and would just appear out of nowhere, cars flipping over each other. eventually i took a big jump down to the freeway, and blew up, launching my car up and over the overpass (was pretty cool, even if i died).
whole thing reminded me of on the run/ffx runner, one of my favourite flash/shockwave games as a kid.
this is way better than gta 4 ever was. im not sure i even want to finish gta 4's story anymore.
graphics are great, but if i want a steady 60 (compared to a 50-55), i have to turn my textures down to normal, while everything else can be maxed out. running a gtx 680 2GB and i5 3.4 GHZ 3470k. if anyone has any suggestions on stuff i can try, that would be great. i already turned of vsync and AA (all types), along with NPC density/variety.
probably not the game's fault however. i think its time to face the fact that my computer is certainly considered "old" now. it is strange that nvidia geforce experience says that i should have everything maxed out, yet the game says im going 500 MB over my VRAM budget.
We've played a few games.
Pool - I highly recommend shit-talking. Go for hurt feelings. It's fun as hell. http://www.miniclip.com/games/8-ball-pool-multiplayer/en/
Battleship - a bit weird to get set up but omg this is worth it it. http://www.pogo.com/games/battleship
Ultimate Tic Tac Toe - so much strategy, so much fun http://bejofo.net/ttt/66276918
Quizup is fun too.
We also both have 3DSs and play Animal Crossing. So addicting.
Dude, when I was a kid all I had were free internet games and that was one of my favorites. You even got the engine sound right!
Edit: Currently nostalgia-ing. http://www.miniclip.com/games/on-the-run-classic/en/
You can play games at Miniclip. I think that's still free.
Or there's porn.
I think social networking is so popular because everyone needs to recover a little between self-love sessions, and online shopping sends you broke.
Motherload: - http://www.miniclip.com/games/motherload/en/#t-sd Portal, the Flash version - http://portal.wecreatestuff.com/portal.php
Two of my favorites, and I think Dan might of done the portal version in a TFGF a while ago

But it really depends on your particular taste. For instance, You could be one of those who may like this -
To let my ex-gf know that I came I would say "congratulations....you have been promoted" in the exact voice of the MiniClip base jumping moderator.
Just beat 1 level of the game and you'll know what I'm talking about:
I obsessed over this a while back. I don't know if anybody else would have the same reaction, but it's worth a shot.
edit: you get to play as a soap bubble
Motherload. Be patient at first, it takes a little while to earn money to get decent equipment and larger fuel tanks. Once you get going its really addictive and satisfying to mine all those goodies.
