> i can't change the resolution of the image in the center without losing quality
i can tho.
Here are 2 versions with upscaled logo, thanks to waifu2x
also pinging /u/MrInkless if he wants those versions
For everyone wanting a high-res version of the Blood Moon Jhin splash art. Try this
Just copy paste the image url into it, put the upscaling to 2x and mess with the noise reduction until you get something you like.
When you try to remove a chewed gum from your feet but it's stuck.
EDIT : Also you can use waifu2x to upscale your arts for a minimum quality loss : http://waifu2x.udp.jp/index.html
That could help for making a walpaper size upscale of the art.

It works pretty well for Tibia. There is some issue with the black outline, but if we had to make a 64x64 version of Tibia, the sprites could be slightly edited manually.
Here's a comparison (for items) between normal resizing and how the software does it : http://i.imgur.com/pB3T23Q.png
EDIT : Here's a quick fix I did for the Dragon Lord. The bottom picture is the fixed one, and the upper one is the one that came straight from the algorithm. http://imgur.com/a/TD8Uv It took me less than 5 minutes to do it, so if you really want to put the effort then it might look really good.
If you can't find a higher resolution version, you can always make one using a procedural image up-scaling program. A few popular ones are listed below:
Here's the source image, by Alexandre Cabanel; what you gave is cropped, and recoluored to look vintage, terrible idea in my opinion. If you want further upscaling, head to Waifu2X, select artwork, and I suggest either keeping the denoising to low or off to keep the integrity of the artwork.
Cheers
That's the highest quality I could find, and it's from the official website, but you can use this tool to get one with a better resolution like this: http://i.imgur.com/uebk59P.png
Chinese wiki collect all the image BG (including loading image, character skin BG, and event BG)
Do a reverse image search for better resolution.

Do you mean for the screenshot? I uploaded it to Miiverse and then ran it through waifu2x. It's a neural network thingy for anime-type images. Scary how far image-making technology has come!
Highest res image I could find.

Upscale with this:
http://waifu2x.udp.jp/index.html
Edit:
would this res be good enough or do you need higher?
If you need higher I suggest you use waifu2x to upscale this image
> Try waifu2x. It's the smoothest picture upscaler I've ever seen, and it works fantastically for anime pictures. There are different options for photos and artwork, but I find that the artwork option upscales just about anything beautifully regardless of the size.
I sent this to the dude who replied to you but I should have sent it to you instead.
SE posted on their facebook an higher resolution version of the Exploratory Mission artwork, i passed it through waifu2x and the final result is pretty great, unfortunately imgur compressed the result into jpg but doesn't seem to have lost quality.
You can make your own version with waifu2x, i went for a 1.6x upscaling and no noise reduction.
That sounds like a good idea. It's always the debate of whether or not it's worth the trouble to buy the actual used product, knowing that it's encouraging resellers rather than the company that produced the product...
If the image needs upscaling, I'll say try passing the image through waifu2x to see the results. It should continue looking great after upscaling since it's optimized for "anime-styled images".
I think the algorithm assumes there are gonna be clear lines and little change in colors, whereas upscale algorithms (e.g. Bi-Cubic, Bi-Linear) are kind of a one-size-fits-all thing that works best in photographs? In any case, it doesn't hurt just to compare.
You could try using Waifu2x
Edit: Due to OPs watermark saucenao doesn’t give any results, so this is either OC or a compilation of images put together, usually the source is higher res
If you don't find any higher resolution, you could always use any waifu2x site like this one to upscale the image. The results are usually good enough for a wallpaper.

Do any of your college colleagues work by themselves as you do, in their own projects?
Would you like to work for an interesting company if you had to abandon (partially) Photopea?

PS: Let me tell you about a tool that increases x2 image resolutions using deep convolutional neural networks [tool] [on github]. Maybe you can do something nice with it. It's awesome wht you've done so far!
Try using http://waifu2x.udp.jp/index.html on online scans (I used Fallen Angels' scans), maybe vectorizing will enlarge them better.
EDIT: here's a result of upscaling a page with setting: Artwork/Low Noise Reduction/2x
I saw something on /r/nintendoswitch about this, it was in this thread. Someone mentioned using a tool called Waifu2x, but I don't know if it can actually change images to be in 4k. Hopefully this works for you, because that's all I really know about the subject.
EDIT: Also, this is just a personal note, but I don't think I'd want that image as a wallpaper myself. It's all blurry, I'm pretty sure it would hurt my eyes if I had to look at a large version of it all the time.
If you keep an eye on the crewniverse tumblr they will often post some of the backgrounds for episodes. Though they do post them in 720 you can use waifu2x to up (and trust me it does a scaraly good job at upscaling images with out pixlizing or bluring very much. Alternetively you can wait till some else does that and posts it on Reddit.
/r/PhotoshopRequest might be able to help with this. I also found this website from this reddit thread on /r/InternetIsBeautiful.
Good luck!
well, most of what im talking about is just really basic photo shopping/image manipulation stuff ie the cropping and what not. using an image upscaler is pretty easy, waif2x has an easy to use website http://waifu2x.udp.jp/index.html , just give it the url or file and it'll upscale most stuff (has limitations ie if its already too big, will also only do like a max of 2x scale). If you run the program on your pc you can scale up much higher but it gets a point where it may not matter after probably like 8x.
but its just been a lot of "doing". you find something you want, the world tells you "there isnt anything that is just HERE for you to have, you'll need to figure it out your self".. where most people just say "oh, ok :( " and walk away, I say "well how do I make it my self" and proceed to research, learn, and do until I have a result I want.
Inkscape works rather well, although if you have the interactive map pdfs then snipping tool will do just as well to get the maps - they aren't a very high resolution in the pdfs anyways.
You can use an image upscaler like waifu2x to improve the quality somewhat, but generally your quality will vary. Small maps usually look okay but larger maps are going to be rather crappy when upsized to VTT sizes.
Waifu2x! You can go here and import the image you want, click on convert and then download it. The default settings look pretty good so you don't have to mess with it a lot.
Her bikini pictures are all from Sex Is Zero 2 and that movie is 13 years old so they are not HD. You can watch the movie in HD though. Or you can transform the low res pictures to HD by yourself on this site. http://waifu2x.udp.jp/index.html
http://waifu2x.udp.jp/index.html originally meant to increase size and quality of anime pictures, its very good at increasing the size and or quality of any image. I use it to make digital art big enough to use at desktop wallpapers.
The programm is called waifu2x. There is also an online version that you can use right here
But if your planning to upscale multiple images its better to use the stand alone version with a cuda gpu, or else you would be sitting there forever.
These are my settings that i used for the images that i upload in this thread.
I made this by taking this comic and increasing the size with AI upscaling to get this HD version of the comic! It's an amazing tool. you can basically make anything you want into a wallpaper.
Oooh he's using Waifu2x too! that might sightly improve the result, but i think PPSSPP is doing a big job here as well.
If you ever want to try this yourself, Waifu2x is actually free to use for anyone over here: http://waifu2x.udp.jp/index.html
You can try to upscale the textures yourself to get a better looking 012, however the part of getting the textures in the game i don't know since i never modded the game, but there has to be people out there that still know.
Hopefully this helps if you ever want to try this yourself.
The algo actually works on any picture (can be a real photo), but is best optimized for any sort of 2d art (anime, cartoons, digital drawings, etc.). It's also really good at removing jpeg compression from any sort of image. You can test it out at http://waifu2x.udp.jp/index.html
In case anyone was wondering, the increase in quality of the screenshot is due to this filter.
An yeah, the bamboo is part of the troll. Three days later she just now asked me "did you plant this?" She likes it for now.... hehehehe

Is pretty good to get that useful "painted" look and add a bit more detail to lower resolution images. Then you can scale it back down later.
Upscale: 2x
Style: Artwork
Noise Reduction: Highest
You mean bigger in size, right? Because the art quality looks the same.

Don't know about official bigger art, but you could try running it through waifu2x, maybe? I personally use http://waifu2x.udp.jp/index.html

Fair Enough, I can understand why, I removed it from Imgur.
What you can use to double the resolution of a picture is to use the website Waifux2. It pretty easy and offer a pretty good result without stretching out
I would use Snipping Tool to take a screenshot, then use an image processor to crop them.
For highest quality, you could render the game in 4k using NVIDIA DSR.
You could also try Waifu2x, but im not sure if it would work well with such low resolution images.
Good Luck!

Is there any test video? I know the tool they mention, waifu2x, gives good results with pictures and it's not normal upscaling, but I'm not too convinced this works as well with an animated video... And 1080p are usually upscaled from 720p, so it might be more useful to try to upscale from 720p to 1080p and compare the results with the other standard 1080p to see if it's really better. I do think this AI upscaling might work in the future, but I'm a bit sceptic, especially if it does it frame by frame independently, which wouldn't be good.
>AniQuality uses FFmpeg to extract frames out of the video. Then Each one of the frames is upscaled using waifu2x, then all the upscaled images are stitched together to make the upsampled video.
That sounds like it will take a while to get processed, and the final video might be huge. The upscaling tool might interpret each frame differently and I think this will be noticeable in the final result. Here's a video that deals with this problem.
Here the steps 1)get the episode 2)extract the part of the episode using FFMpeg 3)Convert the video to images using FFMpeg 4) select the best one 5)use http://waifu2x.udp.jp/index.html to enlarge the image 6)edit if necessary
They're on lol-wallpapers with a 1920x1133 resolution, dunno if that's good enough for you.
If not you can always use waifu2x
If you're not up for trying to extract the assets directly, you might try finding as high a resolution one as you can get, then running it through waifu2x a couple of times. It's not a perfect solution, but w2x usually does a really good job of upscaling images without quality loss. Recommendation, though; don't hit Convert, hit Download. Convert opens the converted image in a new tab and is really really slow, Download just downloads it directly and goes a lot faster.
I used the template focusattack supplies with their artwork customizations. The Kazumi image was drawn beforehand and I only asked if I could use it. Everything other than Kazumi herself was done by me on the focusattack template in photoshop. The original resolution of the artwork though was 873x1200 which I just upscaled using waifu2x
waifu2x automates a resizing process, with additional JPG noise reduction so it doesn't look like shit on your desktop. Check off the 1.6x or 2x setting at the bottom—in most cases, you'll be using 2x—and hit Submit to get a webpage, or Download to download it straight to your hard drive.
You may still want to crop it for 1080p afterwards in a basic photo editor.
Try waifu2x if you need to upscale vectorized/comic artwork (hence the waifu). If you're thinking of upscaling a digital image your best bet may be to simply mess with the image size panel (image>image size) and choosing which resample method looks the best.
