I VERY highly recommend this one.
I've tried 2 or 3 others, and this one is just my favorite.
Edit: Just realized i didn't write the name.
Stitch & share for those who care :)
<strong>Stitch & Share</strong>
I've been looking for such an app for so long, glad there's finally one on Android. Like the name of the app says, the app stitches screenshots from messaging apps. I tried it with a couple of WhatsApp conversations and it works brilliantly. It also has an option to black out or highlight stuff. After stitching the screenshots it uploads them online so you can share it with your friends.
Stitch and Share . Just take your screenshots like normal, scrolling down with every shot, Stitch and Share automatically detects and readies them for stitching and lets you know with a notification. It's great.
I use Stitch&Share it allows you to join long conversations and also blackout/highlight text in the image.

I recently purchased this and I'm happy enough with it. It would be nice if it were as simple on Samsung devices, but oh well.
For that kind of function, I'm currently using Stitch and Share: Big Screenshot. It does have a watermark but you can pay as low as 99¢ to get rid of the watermark.
FIXED (for future folks searching this issue): I found the problem. It was an app called "Stitch & Share" which basically stitches together screenshots for conversations or long pages. I disabled it in accessibility settings and the slider disappeared after a normal amount of time.
Thanks to u/RealAlcibiades and u/IronedShirts for the helpful advice.

There's something REALLY wrong there, and I'll help you find out.
Go into Settings > Developer Options > Running services, and get me the screenshots of the whole app list, then click on the "Show cached processes" button on the upper left corner and do the same.
Then, head to Settings > Memory > Memory used by apps, and take a screenshot of that screen as well.
Use this app to stitch the correspondent screenshots and post them here.
It's not a hidden feature. It's simply not included as a basic Android function.
There are some apps in the app store you can get that do what you're asking about. They all have the same functionality. Just do some searching.
The "Stitch & Share" app can do that, though you have to take various screenshots by yourself in order to merge them within the app -> https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.glitch.stitchandshare
There is an app called Stitch & Share, it allows you to do just that.
You can check it out here:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.glitch.stitchandshare
Hope this helps you.
How did you do that screenshot?
Edit: found one myself seeing how this person was extremely unhelpful
Android: Big Screenshot Or Scroll Capture for Websites only
Have you tried Stitch & Share? I'm not sure what you mean by "long" screenshots, but I'm assuming you mean things such as screenshots of a message chain, such as text messages. I've never had any problems with Stitch & Share, and the screenshots come out looking great.

Stitch & Share: big screenshot
Its pretty neat, you just take a bunch and it uses an algorithm of some sort to automatically connect them in the right places. You can also edit them yourself.
I didn't make that submission in the screenshot, but on Samsung, it's built into their screenshot app. Dunno for iPhone.
Edit : on Android if you don't have a Samsung, you can use his app : https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.glitch.stitchandshare
What about taking multiple screenshots? If you want one image there are apps that can talk long screenshots or stitch multiples together.
For android, first thing I've found
I'm on Lineage and I don't use the alert slider and all is well (having a case that covers it so it doesn't get accidentally triggered helps). There are plenty of other ways to control notifications (volume rockers, power menu sound panel, Tasker automation, etc).
When it comes to scrolling screenshots there's an app for that if it's a feature you really need. To be honest I almost never even take regular screenshots myself. You could also replicate reading mode if you wanted to given that there's a setting for greyscale in the developer options that could be automated.
If you want a ROM that's gonna have long term support it's probably Lineage (or Ressurrection Remix if you're willing to accept maybe a bit of extra jankiness for even more customization).
I used to use Stitch & Share before I had a Rom that already has this feature. It's not as convenient as the integrated function by Samsung, Huawei or OnePlus, but gets the job done.
I used Stitch and Share and had way to much time on my hands. The app lets you manually stitch screenshots together. Alternatively I think newer phones have an option like that already built in.
Not OP, but I use an app called "Stitch and Share" on Android to make pictures like this. I'm sure there are other apps like it on iOS.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.glitch.stitchandshare
I use Stitch & Share, it stitches the photos together in the app itself, and allows you to adjust manually if you need to.
It will start stitching when you take more than 2 screen shots in a row.
I think you're looking for Stitch & Share. You can't scroll and take one long screenshot, but you take multiple screenshots and it stitches them together for you very nicely
Since you're on mobile, you don't have to stitch these manually. There's an app on the Play Store called Stitch & Share you should use, it's a hell of a lot easier than doing that manually.
Edit: Link
I like the big screenshot! May have to add Stitch & Share to the list of Task formatting resources ;)
If you could screenshot just the "Config Summary" screen of the UI Query in A29 I think that would be what I'm looking to see. (the screen that looks like this).
Make screenshots that are overlapping a little bit - open some kind of app, e.g. Stitch and share - add screenshots (long tap in recent to open several files) - in 99% it makes everything automatically, so you don't have to change - share as file to gallery.
Maybe they'll give us that option with the rumored large update that they're working on.
Until that's available you could use the app "stitch & share". It isn't as comfortable to use as the note 5 feature but it gives you a similar result https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.glitch.stitchandshare
lol I used to use Stitch & Share which is a great app, but now there's no need, I love the scrolling screenshot feature! ONLY problem is that when there's an overscroll effect, it captures it. Which would be an easy fix, just wait a second to capture the last part of the screenshot ;-)
If you want to make a long screenshot to fit all badges in one screenshot i can recommend Stitch & Share, but maybe your os has that feature by default
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.glitch.stitchandshare
I've used Stitch & Share for a bit. The concept is cool, but the app needs to run in the background and the added functionality wasn't worth the persistent notification for me.
Since it's not built into the OS, it can't scroll for you, so it's a bit cumbersome.
>You may want to look up Skitch. Maybe it can help you.
>Also, get well soon for your family member in hospital :)
Thanks. No good news yet, but hoping for the best.
Except for stitching several Screenshots. For that i use Stitch & Share. It detects several screenshots in a row and stitches them together. I am running both apps on my Nexus 6P
Yes but you can combine/stitch them together with a combiner app like this.
EDIT: What meant was if you have separate screenshots you can achieve a similar effect with that app.
Took multiple screenshots with overlapping segments, then used "Stitch & Share" and saved to SD, then uploaded to imgur.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.glitch.stitchandshare
I was wondering why it is an 11MB download, when compared to Stitch & Share (4.9MB). Oh, yeah, the long tutorial video with ugly compression artifacts and unfitting music. That's why!
I've just tested 3 apps, and here is my review:
My choice? Stitch & Share
I use this app personally to create super long screenshots like that. Stitch and Share
I've been using this one without issue for a little while now.
For non Samsung devices, there's Stitch & Share
works great on my Pixel
I use Stich & Share to stitch multiple screenshots in one long screenshot
I can't speak for the quality of that, but I have used Stitch & Share and it's gotten the job done
You need an app for that. This one will let you do it.
I use Stitch & Share to create long screenshots.
You could try Stitch and Share. It's an app.

For Android. Easy to use.
Oneplus and (I believe) Samsung do this as well. There are also apps you can use, I recommend this one
It's a built in Samsung feature. You can also use apps like Stitch & Share on any Android device.
There's an app on Android that does it for you, I discovered it a few days ago and it works really well. Stitch & Share
Can't answer for OP but I use Stitch & Share: big screenshot. Took a while to figure it out, but how amazing it is.
Stitch and Share does a pretty good job of that for non-Samsung phones.
This is the one I use on my N6
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.glitch.stitchandshare
If you don't have a samsung device you can use this app: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.glitch.stitchandshare

I think most people recommend this app: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.glitch.stitchandshare
But I haven't used it so I can't comment on it's performance.
OP, you may want to try this app for sharing long conversations: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.glitch.stitchandshare
Not the OP, but I've been using this one and it's served me well enough.
Nope, they removed it. This app from playstore works well: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.glitch.stitchandshare
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.glitch.stitchandshare
This one is new and works even better for me: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=me.pkhope.longscreenshot
You mean to get a screenshot of the entire page, not just what's on your screen? If so, this app does that pretty well.
I use Stitch and Share. (Android)
I don't think it has a built in feature but I found this:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.glitch.stitchandshare&hl=en
And here's a link to the app referenced in the article: Stitch & Share: big screenshot
Download this
Stitch and share does it automatically https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.glitch.stitchandshare

Stitch and Share is free.
There is also Stitch and Share. Might want to give that a try too.
The best scroll capture alternative i once found: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.glitch.stitchandshare
Not OP, but I use an app called Stich & Share to do this.
On Android, Stitch and Share's automatic capture feature works okay, but you have to scroll relatively slowly.

You could try this app:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.glitch.stitchandshare&hl=en
I here you. I use Stitch n Share but it makes a hot mess of Kik and Reddit app captures.
Stitch & Share has worked well for me in the past.
NP....I use Stitch and share Its the easiest I've found
> https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.glitch.stitchandshare
I'll try this, I tried a similar app but it drained like 20% of my battery or something ridiculous for no reason.
There's an app for that as well
It's not a feature on most Androids, only Samsung and OnePlus. Check out stitch & share though.
There are several on the Play Store. The one I use is Stitch and share: Big Screenshot.
I'm a fan of Stich & Share https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.glitch.stitchandshare
Using Photoshop and this.. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.glitch.stitchandshare&hl=en
Yes, I used Stitch & Share.
Or even better Stitch and Share, just updated the app and it works really well. Has the features of the two apps combined

Feature request:
