I have downloaded and it doesn't let me play without giving permission to my microphone. Guess I'm not playing then... Edit: I also downloaded MU Origin and it also doesn't let me play without giving permission. WTF? https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.webzen.muorigin.global.google
Reinstalled Might & Magic Clash of Heroes. Probably my third play through. Still great.

Holy hell!
Thanks a lot!
I'm a sucker for a good read and this is a game as well! Gonna start right now.
BTW if you don't know, install this and start away: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.delightgames.delightgames&hl=en_IN
If you have a tablet, you can use the Roll20 app. Possibly even on a phone if you have a large screen.

I loved Prison RPG for Andriod Deff worth the 4 bucks... It takes a while to figure it out... There's a ton of prison and pop culture jokes... https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.nobstudio.chengshuwan.prisonLifeRPG&hl=en i guess its on iOS, too.
I've seen clicker game on app store that asked for root permission for some reason. I noped and reported for good measure.
It's still on the store with 172k of something. It's is either 172k installs or 172k of people who left rating.
Surprisingly "I denied the access request and can play the game just fine." was somewhat common reaction in /r/incremental_games

I can't use either. I think the first requires a 7" screen.
yes
coming soon global only canada and ireland
but you can downloads apk and play like me :D
I second the Kairosoft recommendation for sims. I also liked Prison Life RPG. Lot of replay value on that one, I still come back and do a stint in prison with a new character from time to time even months later.
> <strong>Arcane Legends: MMORPG</strong> - Free - Rating: 87/100 - Search for "Earth and Legend" on the <strong>Play Store</strong>
Idk this game but it jumped on me with teeth and claw: MMORPG offline???
I have never used it on android just PC but Roll20 is great.
Here is the app: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=net.roll20.playerappandroid&hl=en
Here is some information on it: https://wiki.roll20.net/Roll20_for_iPad_and_Android
You shouldn't need a camera, I never use a camera with Roll20.
In theory, the best thing to do is sit around and wait for sales. If you're looking to splurge right now...
Prison Life RPG is one of the most surprisingly good games I've played in a while. It's great, it's new, and it's a one-time purchase, no iap at all. Tons of replay value, since you can play any of the 100 or so characters.
If I had to describe it... I'd say it's like Out There, only in prison, and you have a much higher chance of succeeding. It's all about politics, economics, mastering skills... it has a lot going on, a lot of different paths to victory, and it accommodates many different styles of play (I've been a pacifist in most of my games, for instance, but you certainly don't need to do so).
I spent some time playing Arcane Legends without investing money into it. I would have continued to enjoy it, but I reset my device to factory default and I haven't re-installed it.
Hack-N-Slash, MMORPG, lots of items, quests, fun combat, etc etc.

Apple finally approved the iOS version over the weekend, but I guess no one wanted to submit the Android app until yesterday. It is up now though: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=net.roll20.playerappandroid

Looks like they stopped updating it and it's no longer playable on new phones :( it's on Nintendo DS though. Maybe you can run DraStic?
I like extreme jobs knights assissant.

It's a cute simple game that you can play for short stints, like while on the toilet or laying in bed.
I'd recommend the Witchspring games. As your stats grow, you're able to beat more enemies and gather more ingredients which in turn enhance your stats. The story is Pokemon tier, but its not a bad way to spend a couple afternoons.
The first game is $1.99, but if you don't wanna pay that, maybe pirate it and buy it later if you enjoy it.
Void Tyrant is a hard but very replayable roguelike. Shattered Pixel Dungeon is pixel art, but it's not too hard on the eyes if that's your issue. I've heard great things about UnCiv as a Civilisation V clone, but I haven't personally gotten and to playing it yet.
Interactive fiction and visual novels are great for killing some time, I recommend Magium and everything by Delight Games.
Kind of off topic for the subreddit, but there are some good free ebooks out there if you want to kill a lot of time.
Arcane Legends. This is quite old, and if I remember correctly, there's also trading, or a market, at least. Googled it and confirmed, there's trading and a market. Though I'm not sure if there are still other players to trade with, lol. Maybe I'll also give it a try again. I wonder if I can still get back my toon.

More than a dozen characters, each with unique story bits. Either complete the jail term without dying or break free.
Thank you so much for looking into this, just to double check mu origin is not the same as mu origin 2 on the play store?
Prison Life RPG
You're in prison, depending on which of 100 characters you choose for varying amounts of time, some only 20 days, some are in for life, others have the death penalty and have say 30 days until execution.
While in prison you can befriend other inmates, make enemies, join a gang, gamble, fight, rob or kill other inmates, 'drop the soap' in the shower which leads to you running out crying and a loss of happiness. Which remind me, you have to manage your happiness, if unhappy for too long your character will commit suicide. You also have to manage your hunger and energy as well.
You can work on skills that will allow you to be a more efficient inmate, or help you plan an escape, of which there are multiple ways to get out of prison. Between greasing the guards, running a gang, changing cells, working different prison jobs, and planning a master escape plan.
This game has brought me hours of fun. Also it has neither of my biggest complaints of mobile games: ads and in app purchases. This game costs $3.99 and that's it...period.
Sounds awesome. So the app can actually do the battle map stuff? Just a little confused because neither the Android nor iOS app pages make any mention of maps, and a couple of reviews suggest that this feature doesn't exist. Is there another app that I should be looking at? Has it been updated to have that? Or are you speaking of just using the website on a tablet?
It certainly sounds like a really good option, anyway. I wonder, how easy would it be to micromanage line of sight as a DM. Can you manually switch certain creatures into hidden within just a couple of clicks? Cheers.
I'm currently enjoying Dragon Quest VI.
The story is a pretty good twist on the dual world trope with you traveling between the real and dream worlds.
WitchSpring perhaps?
It has two sequels and I believe one of the game has a lite version if you want to try it before buying.
If your smart phone or tablet is fast enough, the roll20 page will function normally as if you were accessing it through your browser. You or the game DM will need to have at least a Plus membership for full mobile functionality, though - without it you will only have limited functionality.
There are also apps, however they only support tablets, not smartphones. Android app: Link; iPad app: Link
> Would love a game like heroes of might and magic
There's Might & Magic Clash of Heroes. Licensed game that follows the same style (I think, it's the only M&M game I've ever played) by the same company.
Alternatively you could emulate the Nintendo DS version of it - but it'd probably be a lot easier to just play the official port.
this one its an RPG but you're not the hero, you're the assistant picking up all the loot. It's great for burning free time.
There's no language option if that's what you mean. I'm not sure what store page you are looking at. The google play store description and screens are all in english.

Thanks for DPI change, unfortunately it didnt resolve the error... the app just crashes.
Trying to install this app on my LG G4.
Just set the DPI from 640 to 540.
Strange, I have found it on the Google Play Store here: Dragon Quest VI. I assumed it was released for everyone.
Wait a second, I think I've got it!!!
You can use the roll20 app. It's only just been rolled out, so there's some kinks, but it's reportedly more-or-less functional. You can read more about it on their wiki.
Within the roll20 app, you have their Character Sheet function. In order to do that, you'll need to join/create a campaign, which chooses a default character sheet style (pick Savage Worlds Tabbed), then create a character, and then edit the character sheet to your hearts content.
EDIT: you'll need a roll20 account though. You might need to initially set things up via a regular computer browser but afterwards can access the CharSheet via the app.
Id highly suggest ezpzrpg its been a fun game for my friends and I. You really only have to check it once a day, but there is a surprising amount of stuff to do if you want to sit down for an hour and play it.
Really good for anyone who likes rpg games, and the feeling of having an upgrade drop that means you finally get to kill the boss you've been stuck on!
