Just stick with the last 2.4.2 release for it. It's a local audio editor, it doesn't really need regular updates.
Here are old releases: https://www.fosshub.com/Audacity-old.html
Here are checksums on audacity wiki to verify files: https://wiki.audacityteam.org/wiki/Release_Notes_2.4.2#Checksums
As many others kind of pointed out, you should stop using Audacity. The newer owners of the project has went full in on monetizing it and basically turn it into full spyware.
Version 2.4.2 is the last version to exist before they added all of these changes.
You can find the downloads here: https://www.fosshub.com/Audacity-old.html
The biggest fork I have seen so far going forward is Tenacity: https://github.com/tenacityteam/tenacity
Probably don't need to uninstall your current version, but avoid updating until a fork emerges.
You can grab older versions if you think the 3.x branch is already sus.
Not sure there is a good alternative to audacity, most proposed ones are either no-cost proprietary (and could well have similar telemetry / privacy issues) or not multi-platform.
Download and install mkvtoolnix in your pc, for some reason it won't add a shortcut to the desktop so you have to go to c:\program files\mlvtoolnix and make a shortcut of mkvtoolnixgui.exe
Launch it, go to the multiplexer, add the episode you want to add an audio file to, add the audio file after that, then you can change the audio file's language parameter, name and few other things.
After you're done with changing stuff, click on start multiplexing, it'll start making a new file of the episode(don't worry the old episode files won't get deleted) with the new audio file included(its not a re-encode). So now you can just watch it with new audio files, have fun.
I tried downloading mingw separately but faced alot of similar problems, I would instead suggest you to download CodeBlocks (Windows) as it comes with mingw included in it.
Just select codeblocks-20.03mingw-setup.exe (LINK to download) version.
Or if you just need a stand-alone C/C++ compiler without any other bloatware or headaches, I would recommend you go for Clang(LLVM). hassle free installation, a friendlier and dare I say better compiler.
This - MKV files have metadata that requires special tools to edit. Here's a script I wrote, throw it in the folder with all the MKVs you wish to strip titles from. Alternatively I prefer keeping everything in .MP4 containers as you can edit the metadata for these quite easily.
FFmpeg will allow you to copy the video and audio from an MKV to MP4 very quickly with no loss of quality.
^(assuming you are using windows 64-bit;)
To use the script below, Install MKVToolNix x64 here and copy the contents of the script into a .bat file. It will go through the folder it's currently placed in and strip all the MKV title metadata it can find.
@ECHO OFF TITLE Remove MKV Title REM Removes MKV Title Metadata using MKVtoolnix. ECHO. ECHO This requires MKVToolNix mkvpropedit.exe x64 to be installed. ECHO. TIMEOUT 1 >NUL ECHO Stripping title metadata... TIMEOUT 2 >NUL for /r %%i in (*.mkv) do ( "C:\Program Files\MKVToolNix\mkvpropedit.exe" "%%i" -d title ECHO Stripped title metadata from "%%i". ) ECHO Press any key to exit. PAUSE >NUL
Download and install this:
https://www.fosshub.com/WinDirStat.html/windirstat1_1_2_setup.exe
It will give you a nice breakdown of your drive and which folders are consuming the most space.
Have you checked temps? It could be overheating and thermally throttling. I like HWinfo for temperature monitoring (https://www.fosshub.com/HWiNFO.html), or HWinfo64 if you have 64-bit Windows. Also, 4GB of RAM is really too little for Windows 10 if you plan to do anything but the most basic tasks; an upgrade to 8GB of RAM and an SSD (assuming you have a mechanical hard drive right now) would help a lot.
I mention the SSD upgrade because Windows 10 performs like utter garbage on 5400 rpm drives--the 4K read and write performance of mechanical drives just isn't sufficient for good general OS performance anymore. And SSDs are really affordable now, so if there were ever a time to upgrade, this is it.
Well... First, the CPU is not reporting correctly (1MHz vs 3504MHz)
This causes the memory errors with Steam not having enough memory to run.
Windows then puts Steam into wait mode while it gets uses the page file on the disk to load it. (like virtual memory but slower)
I use HWINFO for finding odd system issues
https://www.fosshub.com/HWiNFO.html
You can then find out exactly what the issue is w/ the cpu
I bet some program or UEFI setting is wrong and thus throttling the CPU.
You could try resetting the UEFI to see if it is a bad setting.
See what you find with HWINFO
Short guide.
Audio is usually recorded lossless (wav) and should be fine that way. Resulting audio will have .wav in the file ending - purely audio stream.
Video can be recorded lossless (yv12 such as lagarith), but it will have a huge file size. OBS allows to encode video during recording into H264, using GPU API (NVIDIA/AMD/INTEL). Resulting video will have .h264 in the file enduing - purely video stream.
FLV, AVI, MP4, MKV, etc are containers - means they can contain audio streams, video streams, subtitles, chapters, fonts, etc.
I suggest using MKV container, because it has nice freeware software to operate it. Here it is: https://www.fosshub.com/MKVToolNix.html .
It cointains MKVExtractGUI - to extract streams and other content from MKV containers, if you need it for whatever reason.
It contains MKVToolnixGUI - to merge audio-video streams into a video file, to append one video file to another, to cut video files into pieces.
Here is also a video guide: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kbUcrQqftxA
If you have mp4/flv videos - A/V streams can be extracted by using ffmpeg: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sM5hokeDws8 .
If you have questions - feel free to ask.
Yeah could be part of the issue. Maybe it's heavily thermal throttling. Grab HWInfo64 and check temps, MCLK, UCLK and FCLK should be synced, download ZenTimings and ditch DRAM Calculator.
I was just about to ask if there’s an update! Good to know we’ll be able to hear this track soon!
In case you missed it, here’s one really good software you can use to rip the track from the DVD https://www.fosshub.com/Exact-Audio-Copy.html
Oh, you could make sure his CPU and GPU are not overheating
We can stress test the CPU with Prime95
Download prime95 ( http://www.mersenne.org/ftp_root/gimps/p95v298b3.win64.zip ) and HWinfo ( https://www.fosshub.com/HWiNFO.html?dwl=hwi_606.exe )
Run HWinfo, click on the sensors button, during the entire test you wanna be looking at the CPU Package temperature, if it ever goes above 80C stop the test.
Launch Prime95, run the blender test. You want to be monitoring the CPU Package temperature the entire time, if it ever goes above 80C like I said, stop the stress test. Run the test for at least 30 minutes or until the temperature reaches 80C.
If the CPU temps do not go over 80C, lets move onto stress testing the GPU:
Download Furmark this https://geeks3d.com/furmark/
Then very similar to the CPU test, but instead you wanna be looking at the GPU temps! Same as before if it goes over 80C stop the test
>Super HQ 1080p30
>the result is somewhat pixelated when there is movement
Something seems not right there. The "Super HQ 1080p30" preset defaults with CRF 18 (constant quality: 18) x264, which is considered visually lossless quality.
Double check your settings (or reset your built-in presets, under preset options if you think you've accidentally changed them), and test with multiple video players (VLC, MPC, PotPlayer, etc).
If you prefer to try another encoder: TEncoder is another freeware utilizing FFMPEG, there's also FFmpegYAG if you want a simpler interface
Windows can and will ignore settings for USB drives for Read Only and the USB registry hack to disable USB writing so I wouldn't really bother with that. One thing you may consider is putting your files in something like a TrueCrypt container so worst-case they just get deleted (have backups whenever dealing with infected computers!). Really USB thumb drives are the least secure things to use with a possibly infected computer: http://www.pcworld.com/article/2460540/most-usb-thumb-drives-can-be-reprogrammed-to-silently-infect-computers.html (although I admit to using them with infected computers, albeit in Linux or WinPE environments)
Edit: Also see http://www.irongeek.com/i.php?page=security/thumbscrew-software-usb-write-blocker (that registry hack method, may be ignored by some viruses) and https://www.fosshub.com/UsbFix.html
Just want to say that the update was served, and it still served for QB since 2nd August. There was no interruption of this service, except for the 3 hours when we shut down our entire infrastructure.
You guys are 100% correct to concern about this. However, don't take our word. The update will get you to this link: https://www.fosshub.com/qBittorrent.html/qbittorrent_3.3.6_setup.exe
Please upload the file on VirusTotal or Jotti's Malware Online Scan. After you do this, please check the MD5, SHA1 and SHA256 signatures using free online services or with independent tools.
The signature for Windows of QB 3.3.6 on its official homepage is this one:
SHA-1 Checksum: ef47e39b6a3be9fbe63cdb7f8c80d1e2c0a606bf
If you click on our site link (MD5/SHA1 signature), it will show the same signature.
However, again, don't take our word, please check the SHA1 signatures using free online services or with independent tools.
Example: http://onlinemd5.com/
If you have downloaded QB from us and has the same signature (and VirusTotal shows the file as clean), it means that the file is legit, and it was not altered.
Use this for any site that you have doubts.
We apologize again for this incident!
Same problem or unable to reinstall?
*I assumed you use Windows since most Linux distros still refuse to upgrade the latest version and use more "battle tested" 2.4.2 and has not encountered such problems since.
1- Open Audacity click Tools>Reset Configuration
.This process will reinitialize if there is any change on playback devices. See if it works.
2- If still not work restart your computer, see if it works.
3- If still not work open Audacity click Help>Diagnostics>Show log
paste the results here for further diagnostics(and screenshot of the program if possible). Also do the same bug report to official devs. Bug report link
It's been a while since I torrented last, but here's what I remember to do, please consult a guide online for better instructions

First, you're gonna want to download qBitorrent
Then, look online for a torrent of Black Ops 3 (and the Season Pass)
Create a folder in File Explorer for the game
Download torrent for the game (set location for game as the folder you made)
Wait for download to finish (when status changes to "seeding")
done
Just one more thing, I would recommend a VPN, your ISP may not like you torrenting copyrighted content
Well, you can get WinDirStat https://www.fosshub.com/WinDirStat.html
and scan your drive with that, it shows what files/folders are taking up the most space on your drive, might be able to find it that way.
Don't be afraid of the terminal, its your friend.
Switch shell to zsh if you're using the terminal.
There are plenty of open source apps for almost anything you'd like to do these days.
Give them a try.
Check out FossHub for some of the most popular ones out there.
Check this site out for some basics on Linux itself.
Good luck and stay safe on Linux.
Hey, just in case you're worried regarding FossHub. We do not track or collect any personal information (not building any personal profile) regarding our visitors. I am not talking about third-party services such as Google. You can take a look over our TOS here: https://www.fosshub.com/privacy.html
This is a known issue with qBittorrent version 4.3.0 and newer.
Downgrade to qBittorrent 4.2.5 (here) and your problems will go away. You may need to re-add any active torrents after you downgrade.
Once you know the delay (I think it's about a second) it's a 30 second job on a PC using MKVToolNix ( https://www.fosshub.com/MKVToolNix.html ). MKVs play just about anywhere now and can be uploaded to YT.
What the other replies said is true, Windows sometimes takes extra space for such things. Just in case, you can use SpaceSniffer and get a graphical representation of everything that occupies space in your pc and how much, too.
Literally nothing. Not how torrents work. At most they will download bits of the torrent you download, but even that can be avoided. It is totally normal for other peers to download from you for the specific torrent, that's how it's designed. Torrents in themselves (not some torrent websites, though again with something like ublock for ads, even those are at minimal risk), have no risk of 'hacking' or whatever if the torrent itself is safe.
https://www.fosshub.com/qBittorrent.html?dwl=qbittorrent-4.2.5.dmg download and install this then from the File menu of the program you installed choose add a magnet link, copy paste the following:
magnet:?xt=urn:btih:C12B561563BEBCB7E7A6787D1DC2CB639C6D3A55&dn=QI%20Series%201-10%20Season%20A-J%20%20mp4%20--%20XL%20UNCUT%20HDTV%20720p%20if%20availabl&tr=udp%3A%2F%2Ftracker.coppersurfer.tk%3A6969%2Fannounce&tr=udp%3A%2F%2F9.rarbg.to%3A2920%2Fannounce&tr=udp%3A%2F%2Ftracker.opentrackr.org%3A1337&tr=udp%3A%2F%2Ftracker.internetwarriors.net%3A1337%2Fannounce&tr=udp%3A%2F%2Ftracker.leechers-paradise.org%3A6969%2Fannounce&tr=udp%3A%2F%2Ftracker.coppersurfer.tk%3A6969%2Fannounce&tr=udp%3A%2F%2Ftracker.pirateparty.gr%3A6969%2Fannounce&tr=udp%3A%2F%2Ftracker.cyberia.is%3A6969%2Fannounce
you will get qi in no time. if you want them to download by sequential order choose it by right clicking on the torrent.
you will have them in no time. unless you dont trust me
Unfortunately, /r/farspin 's help didn't work out for me, but I could have start from there at least and found SpaceSniffer which just did what I wanted: scanned the disk/drive, listed the folders in ABC order and inside the files too, then I could save the whole thing into a single text-based file.
Speccy does not report accurate temps for ryzen in my experience, don't worry it is very likely those temps are not correct. Instead use hwinfo and look up the CPU temps. They should look a lot more normal.
what i would try to do is as follows:
-download the audacity software for windows here: https://www.fosshub.com/Audacity.html
-install
-open the program and in the top left click on [File] then [Open]
-skip to the end where the audio is corrupted/distorted and see if you can hear it
-if you still can't hear it then the journey ends here and I am sorry. I will see what other options there may be.
-[file] [export] [export as wav]

tldr; download Audacity export the file as .wav
To download it, install qBittorrent, and just click "Download" on that page, choose download folder and hit "Ok".
First, download this emulator
https://www.fosshub.com/ZSNES.html
Then find earthbound on this list and download it
https://ia802900.us.archive.org/zipview.php?zip=/10/items/SNES201808/ROMS.zip
Then open the game with zsnes and play it. Change the controls and stuff in the settings if you want.
I think I see the problem. Launching untrusted applications from the desktop might get to be really popular with things like .appimage getting popular.
Running the same Avidemux video editor from the start menu added to desktop shortcut works.
HWinfo is a free program that's great for monitoring all sorts of things, including temperature and utilization. Specifically, it can tell you the average and maximum utilization of your CPU and GPU so you can tell whether your components are being fully used or not.
For reference: In 3.3 PTU i am seeing around 70-90% CPU usage and around 80-100% GPU usage (Ryzen 2600/GTX 1070) at around 80fps Very High settings. I think in 3.2 LIVE i was only getting around 50% CPU usage and <50% GPU usage with an fps of around 20.
You'll likely need a codec pack contaning the H.265 (HEVC) codec.
Download from here: https://www.fosshub.com/LAV-Filters.html
And use the LAV Configuration Utility to set up hardware decoding like mine: https://i.imgur.com/5C4yYkR.png
https://www.fosshub.com/qBittorrent.html
you dont need to be all paranoid when using torrents, m8. It's no big deal just because it's torrenting. Torrenting is not synonymous with piracy like some seem to think
You'll probably have to do many things:
Disk cleanup. Click on your start menu and type "disk cleanup". Built in Windows tool for deleting temporary or unused OS files. I'd suggest using the "clean up system files" option within it.
Uninstall software you don't need from the apps list. The biggest offenders here are probably games. These can free up lots of space.
Move or empty out files in your user folders. Documents/Videos/Pictures/Downloads etc... These can be moved to another hard drive/partition if you want, or just delete things you don't need anymore.
If you're still having trouble freeing up space, I recommend a tool called WinDirStat. It will scan your disk and show you a visual representation of every file/folder and how much space it is consuming. https://www.fosshub.com/WinDirStat.html
While I dont disagree that more space is way more convenient, there is no reason to passover the usually much cheaper sata 3 drives. I have a 512GB Sata 3 in my old system which only goes up to Sata 2 speeds and the system OS is smooth as can be, boot times are great and everything OS related loads nearly instantly. Typical rules still apply...keep about 15-20% of your space free or you'll start lagging like crazy.
I use windirstat to easily identify things i can delete https://www.fosshub.com/WinDirStat.html
You may also look into disabling hibernation and deleting your hibsys file if windows doesn't get rid of it automatically
maybe even reducing your page file size, mine clocks in at a whopping 18GB, but unless you have a program that crashes without having a lot you can probably get away with much less.
Also if you want to export these as mp3 files. You need the LAME encoder.
Instructions: http://old.audacityteam.org/help/faq_i18n?s=install&i=lame-mp3
LAME: https://www.fosshub.com/Audacity.html/LADSPA_plugins-win-0.4.15.exe
I would look into ByteFence's folder in program files or program files (x86). Often there's a uninst.exe or uninstall.exe in these folders. If you can't find it, you can try BulkCrapUninstaller because it recreates uninstallers for software that doesn't have one.
If they are in .mkv format, ti can be done rather easily with MKVToolnix, though you may have to paly w/ syncing a little bit to make it line up w/ the mouth flaps. Grab MKVToolnix. The software is rather self explanatory, drag both files in, select the video/audio tracks you want to keep, and export out. Since it isn't reencoding, just repackaging all fo the video/audio/subtitle/other streams together in the MKV container, it is very very quick to combine.
Good luck!
I think I might have something that will do exactly what you want. Do you only want that one single version number or all three stable version numbers?
I have a few scripts that parse the hidden JSON out of various websites using regex. The hardest part would be setting your capturing group up properly.
I'm going to assume you want just that one version number and I will post something in a bit when I can get to the computer.
edit :
$Portable = [regex] '(?<=<span>ConEmu Stable, Portable (32-bit, 64-bit))([\S\s]?)(?=<br><strong>)' $html=invoke-webrequest -uri https://www.fosshub.com/ConEmu.html $PortableMatch = $Portable.Match($html.Content).value $PortableMatch $version = [regex] '(?<=version: )(\d)' $VersionMatch = $version.Match($PortableMatch).value $VersionMatch
Regex can be a bit frustrating otherwise I would make it work in one regex match
edit2 : actually I think I got it with one regex lookup
$Version = [regex] '(?<=<span>ConEmu Stable, Portable (32-bit, 64-bit)[\S\s]?version: )[\d]' $html=invoke-webrequest -uri https://www.fosshub.com/ConEmu.html $VersionMatch = $Version.Match($html.Content).value $VersionMatch
Just make sure to follow the guide closely and carefully. To download a few of the files in the guide, you'll need to have some sort of torrent client on your computer like qBittorrent.
Other than that, it should be fairly easy, just make sure you read and comprehend, and especially make sure you don't skip anything.
Vidiš i sam u komentarima da ljudi imaju pizdarije s tim.
I use HWInfo: https://www.fosshub.com/HWiNFO.html.
I just use the portable x64 version, but it'll let you monitor your VRM temps as well, which is nice. I'm not sure exactly how accurate the readings are, as I don't believe I was seeing any artifacts at 2200, but I just dropped it down to 2175 where it didn't register any errors at all.
So it appears as though your setup is completely normal and nothing is misallocated. If you have suddenly run out of storage space, I would suggest two things:
There is a form of virtual memory called a paging file, which might have been what you referenced to earlier. If set too large, this can hog your hard drive space. To check this, right click This PC > Properties > Advanced System Settings > Performance > Advanced > Virtual Memory. This is usually only a few gigabytes but can reach up to four times the size of your physical memory. I highly doubt this would be the cause unless you have specifically set this yourself.
You may just have some unwanted files taking up space. First action would be to go to Settings > System > Storage > Temporary Files and clean them up. If your own personal files are hogging space, this can be easily identified with WinDirStat which displays everything in a graphical tree format.
I use SpaceSniffer (it was proprietary, today is OpenSource) [Win7 and 8 Only]
>The current version (1.1.4.0) at the time we wrote this review is tested on Windows 7 Ultimate Edition (32-bit) and Windows 8.0 (64-bit), and it worked well on both Microsoft Windows versions.
source: https://www.fosshub.com/SpaceSniffer.html
cheers!
Of course they do intend for them to be improvements but sometimes there are bugs.
Many people, myself included, had the same experience with 4.4 that you are describing. Rolling back to 3.9 seemed to clear it up for most if not all. https://www.fosshub.com/qBittorrent-old.html
Yes current software versions are gradually going to phase out support for old versions of MacOS, not a whole lot you can do about that. However you could just use the last compatible version if necessary, just look through the release notes for each torrent client to see which version dropped support for High Sierra.
e.g. for qBittorrent https://www.qbittorrent.org/news.php you'll see High Sierra support was dropped in 4.3.3 - so technically 4.3.2 or earlier should still work for you.
Clonezilla is a live CD, this exactly allows you to have a full backup without side any effects.
You could just use Audacity 3.0. Telemetry was added around 3.0.2-3.
Oh no, somehow I've missed your reply. FossHub and Audacity are two separate things.
The former team and owners of Audacity sold it. FossHub is a free software repository for projects such as Audacity. We host a dozen of free software. You can read more about us here: https://www.fosshub.com/about.html
Or feel free to ask if you have any other questions.
that is the site where I'm trying to download qbittorrent. I got that site from ''A beginner's guide to video game piracy'' so it's the official site. https://www.fosshub.com/qBittorrent.html. I when click qbittorrent windows or windows x64 it redirects me to the unreachable site
This is gonna be a long text so bear with me...
There are some sites i kinda use on daily basis
Or you can use these keywords in Google :
'X' mod apk
someone might suggest F-droid, u can either download the vanilla F droid apk or u can download DROD-IFY for better API
and lastly, u can also get some reddit posts in here and github repo link which might be useful
hope this helps
Your file has an embedded title. I run every movie I add through MKVToolNix first to remove the title header. You don't need to disable local metadata like others were suggesting, since you may want that on for other metadata. Just remove the embedded title from the file.
Use AviDemux. Lossless Cut and MKVtoolnix can also do it fine but AviDemux is a bit easier to use, is more accurate (at least compared to the last time I used LosslessCut,) and it has more features. You will have to split the video at an I-frame (intra-frame) which AviDemux will display for you, just use your up and down arrow keys to navigate to the next/previous I-frame.
Programs for encoding video like Handbrake or Adobe Premiere will not give you what you want.
You can use wiztree or windirstat to determine where your data is on your disk.
Audacity is certainly the leading free and open-source tool for its balance of user-friendliness and functionality, which is exactly why Muse Group bought it and started embedding analytics and other useless things. But to be honest, Audacity went off course long before that even when they started focusing more on the GUI instead of the core functionality a couple years back. However, let's be real. The lossless and lossy codecs that you're going to be working with to make a podcast haven't changed in decades, so you can use older versions of Audacity perfectly fine and still take advantage of the dramatic performance increase of the older versions without sacrificing anything in the way of functionality.
You can get older versions totally free from FOSSHUB. I would personally recommend version 2.2.2.
https://www.fosshub.com/Audacity-old.html
There's a app called ClassicShell that can give Windows 8 the Windows 7-like start menu.
https://www.fosshub.com/Classic-Shell.html?dwl=ClassicShellSetup\_4\_3\_1.exe
And there are security issues that can arise with Windows 7, even if she doesn't do anything.
I would be really, really careful if you're going to go with Windows 7.
Download the 32-bit plug-ins installer and run it -> https://www.fosshub.com/IrfanView.html
BTW, that link is from the IrfanView.com home page, so it's safe.
Once done, the missing "PDF.dll" file will be installed to your IrfanView folder.
https://www.fosshub.com/ This place is a good start for Windows OS. I would suggest to try dualbooting with Linux at some point. I dualboot and get the best of both worlds.
You're using LTS thus most software will not update for some time or never.
If you want latest version then. you iwill have to nstall using an appimage or compile from source.
If you choose to complie remove your old version audacity first.
You can use MKVToolNix to delay audio: https://www.fosshub.com/MKVToolNix.html
There's also VirtualDub2, it's far more powerful, but also a lot more difficult to use: https://sourceforge.net/projects/vdfiltermod/files/
Sounds like someone needs to go disk space hunting! A popular tool for this is WinDirStat. It will show you all what's taking up space on your computer so you can go cleaning up accordingly!
Version 2.0.6 of Audacity is the final version for Windows 2000, and for XP lacking Service Pack 3 (32-bit systems) or Service Pack 2 (64-bit systems).
https://www.fosshub.com/Audacity-old.html?dwl=audacity-win-2.0.6.exe
https://www.fosshub.com/Audacity-old.html?dwl=audacity-win-2.0.6.zip
download SpaceSniffer
Free program that gives you a visual look at what is taking up your space.
As for those games, it shouldn't matter if they are listed in your apps if you manually deleted it. You can just very easy to to the directory where it supposed to be installed and look. C:\Program Files\Far Cry 4. Make sure that directory is deleted.
Anyways, use the file I linked, or find another one you want to use and it will show you what it taking up all the space.
Want to point out that games/app you install from Microsofts Store needs to be uninstalled correctly or it can leave itself behind. Had that problem and ended up having to reformat the harddrive to free up the space they were taking.
This is done by many cameras for various reasons, sometimes technical sometimes practical. GoPro also segments larger video files into smaller ones for example.
Fortunately it's extremely easy and fast to stitch the videos back together into a single video clip, and you need just one classic free software called Avidemux.
First time setup: Install it, open it, and on the left side set the Output format to mp4. Then go to Edit > Save Current Settings as Default.
To merge your videos, first open the first video clip with Avidemux, then just drag and drop the remaining segments onto it one by one. Click Save and name your file. That's it, you're finished.
Saving should take a few seconds, and there is no loss in quality as you are just stitching files together, rather than doing any video encoding.
Yea just uninstall the version that you have currently then install a previous version.
https://www.fosshub.com/qBittorrent-old.html
You can download the previous versions from that site
Had the same problem, figured out it's a poor interaction with malwarebytes: if you have that installed, revert to qtorrent 4.2.1 and the problem will disappear. https://www.fosshub.com/qBittorrent-old.html
When you say it can't be android x86, are you referring to the project or kernel? The android-x86 project offers both32-bit and 64-bit kernels, so I'm a little confused on exactly what you're trying to do.
Step 1: Download MKVToolNix from HERE.
Step 2: Open .dmg and move app to Applications Folder.
Step 3: Run app and click on OK in “MKVToolNix-56.1.0” can’t be opened because Apple cannot check it for malicious software. dialog box
Step 4: Go to System Preferences > Security & Privacy > General, A pop-up for mkvtoolnix is not from identified developer is present Click Open Anyway then Click Open in next dialog-box.
Step 5: Run MKVToolNix normally next time like any other app.
MKVToolNix can do it pretty easily, though there might be a command line utility that makes it easier if you're doing a bunch of files. Should also be able to set the default audio and subtitle languages in your video player.
Lots of users have reported problems with the snap/flat versions since the early days of those formats, they've kind of always been trash, and 3.0.0 hasn't been packed in a .deb for Ubuntu yet.
You can install v3 from source (get it here, instructions on doing that form of wizardry here) but doing that is a bit power-user for a lot of people. If you aren't comfortable compiling your apps from source, you may be better off just waiting for the Ubuntu team to get their act together and make the dang .deb file.
That is an issue I've never heard of before. I would open Windows Disk Management, right click on your drive, click Properties, click on the 'Tools' tab, and do an 'Error Check.' Maybe that will find/solve the issue.
If that doesn't help at all, maybe try installing and launching WindDirStat, then scan your drive and see if you can possibly delete Valorant that way.

Regardez plutôt du côté de qbittorrent, deluge ou rtorrent (moins accessible).
I think others have already given great suggestions. However, I'll just add another note. The newer versions of Audacity have a lot of issues in general and if you work with audio often it's recommended to use an older, more stable version. I recommend version 2.22:
https://www.fosshub.com/Audacity-old.html?dwl=audacity-win-2.2.2.exe
Revert back to 4.2.1 - It has completely fixed all of my issues.
https://www.fosshub.com/qBittorrent-old.html
Downloads were completely killing my internet connection. Reverted back & now my speeds are faster than they've ever been.
HWInfo has released a beta that resolved this issue. It's been out for a few days now:
https://www.hwinfo.com/version-history/
Download Link (Make sure to download the Beta version): https://www.fosshub.com/HWiNFO.html
Could you post a screenshot of your F3 screen? It has a few important bits of information there that can help figure out the issue.
Another thing that would be super helpful would be to upload a HWiNFO64 report containing sensors, as that will basically record the usage of both your CPU and GPU during the report, which can help narrow down a potential bottleneck.
If you're comfortable doing that, you can download the newest beta version here, extract the .zip somewhere, run HWiNFO64.exe, then once it pops up, hit the "Run" button (leave both the "Sensors-only" and "Summary-only" checkboxes unchecked, just hit the Run button), and wait for it to finish scanning your system.
Once it has, a summary should pop up along with a window in the background containing a tree structure of all your components. Close the summary, then click the Sensors button on the top, and a new window should pop up containing a bunch of data from sensors across your entire computer.
Once that sensors window pops up, click the cog icon on the bottom right, then find "Log all values for report (consumes memory)" on the mid-bottom left, check that, hit "OK", then move the sensors window down a bit so it's still on screen while still allowing you to hit the "Save Report" button in the main window (closing it will cause the report to not include any sensors, and minimising seems to minimise HWiNFO64 as a whole).
Once you've hit the "Save Report" button, select the "Text Logfile" export format, hit "Next", then immediately uncheck everything (can quickly do that by just unchecking the top-most "Computer" entry), and then only check the "Sensors" entry right at the bottom, and then hit "Finish" to save the report.
The report will be saved in the same folder the HWiNFO64.exe file is located, so at that point you could just upload that, or better yet, open it and drop the contents in Pastebin or something for easier access.
It sounds like you're using one of the new unstable versions of Audacity. I stopped updated after 2.22 because of common sense differences with the dev team. If you are stuck on using Audacity, try 2.22. And remember, write to WAV.
https://www.fosshub.com/Audacity-old.html?dwl=audacity-win-2.2.2.exe
If you want the best free and open-source software to do the job though, I would highly recommend making yourself familiar with FFmpeg, which can also capture live audio and is literally the fastest audio stream writer/encoder there is. It's command-line, so a bit of a steeper learning curve than a GUI, but not having a GUI is just one example of how it seriously squeezes every ounce of power out of your machine without wasting resources on fluff like a GUI. Because FFmpeg is command-line, it's also extremely flexible with scripting and you can heavily automate many common workflows using it and save time on clicking around a GUI doing repetitive tasks.
Proceed by scanning the drive with your AV.
Yeah, I had this issue early on. A few things I did was install Lav Filters for Direct Show and I also disabled the CPUs integrated graphics. Eventually I got rid of the Lab Filters when I upgraded my GPU (currently RTX 2070 Super). Hope you get it sorted. Also try messaging the Dev for Deo, he's pretty responsive.
If you need to track down missing hard drive space I find space sniffer really helpful. It gives you a graphical overview of files taking up memory space. Basically, the bigger the box, the more memory used. Very helpful for clearing up some space!
>this is a hardware problem..either bad data coming from memory or internal to part...

>collect the report with HwInfo64:
grab a system report (Summary-only needs to open and then Save Report icon - looks like an old floppy disk.. with this and post it:
HWiNFO65 v6.34 https://www.fosshub.com/HWiNFO.html?dwl=hwi_634.exe
if can verify the BIOS is already patch D, then i'd try another CPU.
>x570-I

i can't tell if this BIOS has patch D..
grab a report with this:
HWiNFO65 v6.34 https://www.fosshub.com/HWiNFO.html?dwl=hwi_634.exe

search for SMU and tell me the version number.
Previous Windows releases can be found here:

I read all these issues, here's the summary. QBitorrent reports where it downloaded torrents to, Radarr & Sonarr use this location to move the files afterwards. The reporting changed in 4.3 which actually might be more accurate. The method Sonarr and Radarr was using had to combine the path QBitorrent reported with torrent names as folders which isn't always consistent (and is broken now). QBitorrent has added a new way to report the actual path of the downloaded files not requiring any "working out" which will be better. Sonarr & Radarr need to implement the new method. All 3 pieces of software need a new release to fix it.
Confused? Yeah just downgrade to 4.2.5 for a while.
There is a another way. Copy this code and make it a .bat file
(you need MKVToolNix)
change the "yourfile" text for the file type you want to edit. MKV, MP4
FOR %%G IN (*.yourfile) DO "C:\Program Files\MKVToolNix\mkvpropedit.exe" "%%G" --tags all: -d title --delete-attachment 1 exit
This works with many files but only one file type at a time
The .bat file need to be with the files you want to edit
So I recomend to place all your MP4/MKV files in a
folder with the .bat file and run
I did this with Pokemon wich have
+1000 episodes and all of them had a title.
It took about 1 min to complete
For me it happens when the files title is named.
For mp4 files you can remove the title name by right click the file:
Properties > Information > Description > Title
Or using the Windows Details pane
To enable it (when you are in a folder)
Click View > Details pane > Title
For mkv files I use MKVToolNix:
Output > File title: > Start multiplexing
Hope it helps.
This duplicate remover is by far the best and it is open source! It gives you great options to batch delete images which can be matched on either dates, sizes or photo similarity.
https://www.fosshub.com/Audacity.html
Assuming you're running Windows choose the option that says "Audacity Windows Installer"
It should be at the top
The first thing I would do is monitor the temp of it. Run HWiNFO while doing whatever is causing the lag and check to see what peak temperatures the SSD is reaching. The app keeps a record of the highest temps it reaches in the stats so you don't need to catch it in real-time. If that might be the cause then get an NVMe heatsink for it
Could you remux the German and Japanese audio tracks along with any subtitles into 1 single file? This would allow you to select the audio and/or subtitle track in Plex while having to only maintain the one file. MKVToolNix works great for this sort of thing and usually takes seconds to do an episode as it doesn't need to re-encode.
If you don't need the files on the drive, reformat it and you are done.
If you need them, use USBFix. It's specialized on shortcut viruses that spread via USB flash drives and other removable drives.
>was given this link https://github.com/qbittorrent/qBittorrent
That's if you wanna compile it manually.
>one should i click one <strong>DMG</strong>
Obviously the "dmg" one as that's the installer file for macos.
It might just be because the display cable is not getting a good connection or maybe its because your GPU is not getting a good connection with the PCI-E slot. So first run a stress test on the GPU then monitor the temps with some software. Generally i would recommend MSI after burner to do that. But HWiNFO64 or HWMONITOR also works great too for monitoring literally every single sensor in your PC. Just run a GPU stress test for like 10 minutes then get back to me with the temps. If you cant even do that. Then try to unplug your display cable from your monitor and GPU then plug it back in. If that does not work then try to completely remove the GPU out of the PCI-E slot and put it back in. If that also does not fix it. Then try to replace the thermal paste. If that still does not work you probably have a dying GPU. But if its a AMD GPU those run kinda warm no matter what and they generally feel very hot. When mainly the GPU is only at 74C which is a completely fine temp. It best to not have it running at 89C all the same. Its generally a good thing to keep it below 80C all the time. But your GPU most likely is not dead at all. Its just probably overheating or it maybe does not have a good connection with the display cable or the PCI-E slot. Just get back to me here and let me know if this fixed it or not. If none of that fixed it then the GPU is probably about to die.
Download windirstat (Im directly linking you to the download so you know, the website is a hassle) install it and check both harddrives and it will find everything and tell you which folders are the largest and so on, used it yesterday and apparently I have an entire terabyte of steam games on one of my HDDs
Grab HWInfo and take a look at the CPU temperatures and GPU temperatures while gaming (just Alt+Tab during a heavy gaming session). Loud is very subjective.
If it doesn't freeze or crash or have smoke coming out of it, your PC is doing just fine.
I have to admit I haven't done much testing with the audio codec conversion part.
But I just did two tests:
1) A full remux (so both COPY mode for Video and Audio) for a 1½ hour MP4 video with regular H.264 video codec and AAC audio. That process took me 14 seconds.
Video tab: https://i.imgur.com/nNheIBU.png (all other fields are greyed out on that tab when you've selected Copy mode)
Audio tab looks exactly the same.
2) A video remux but with audio conversion (from AAC to AC3) of the same video. That process only took 25 seconds.
Both videos play fine in VLC.
My computer has 16 gb RAM and it's an 8th gen. Intel CPU (8700). The graphics card has no impact when you're just copying. So if your computer is normally reasonably fast, it shouldn't take you several minutes to remux. 30-40 seconds tops.
... It's not because there is more than one audio track in the original MKV file? Many movie rips comes with multiple audio tracks. That could explain the longer conversion time.
Nonetheless, you found a quicker way to get things working.
If you're up for it some day, you can try AVIdemux. It has the same remuxing options for video and audio as Xmedia. And it works for both MacOS and Windows. It has been around for even longer than Xmedia Recode and is very popular among MacOS users, because iOS doesn't like MKV files. Windows users (like us) have it easier.
Yes you can run it from a USB without installing it, but your data will not be persistent, to enable persistent data you need to install it to another USB.
This isn't advice on how you should do it, it is just what I done.
I downloaded version 9.0-r2 from here: https://www.fosshub.com/Android-x86.html
To install I used two USB's. I copied the downloaded ISO files to USB-1 (which had been formatted to FAT32). I formatted the other, USB-2, to NTFS. I then booted USB-1 and used the auto installation to install to the location of USB-2.
I first tried manually installing (from the same boot menu on USB-1) to USB-2 and formatting to FAT32 but after install the device would only have 8GB of storage available, most of it already full.
When I selected auto install it would have 64GB available with 34(not sure on the exact number) already used. Which is strange because I was using a 32GB USB.
Recently doing a bunch of similar work for some French films for learning the language. They're all SD DVDs and I've used a similar flow to what you've described.
e.g. mkvinfo <video_file>
then mkvextract tracks <video_file> #:english #:french
(# being the tracks given by mkvinfo for the subtitles)
3. More often than not, the subtitles are in a VOBSUB or PGS format. I'll run it through Subtitle Edit if that's the case, which has a helpful OCR conversion tool.
4. If the French subtitles from the DVD itself don't work or aren't available, then I'll find one online and re-align it (again using Subtitle Edit) either along the English subtitles found on disk or by ear.
I generally prefer to keep my subtitles in separate files within the same directory, so that I can hot-swap new ones in or edit existing files if I find any errors. :)
